Amazing room. Opulent hotel. Quite a way to start our trip around Ireland! loved the jacuzzi bath in the room.

This absolute gem within big and well-kept, park-like grounds just outside Blarney, the owners family home with many history and family memorabilia in quiet surrounding welcomes you and makes you forget work or worries straight away. With Olwen, her husband Douglas and her super- friendly staff and their smiles and cheery characters you feel on holiday on the spot. Each room is decorated in a different style with much thought given to every detail. The room is kept spotless and is nicely made up every day. This special atmosphere can also be found in the conservatory breakfast room with its cheerful and flowery decoration. The breakfast itself covers everything from juice, tea, coffee, cereals, fresh fruits, yoghurts, different sorts of bread, cheeses, to daily varying cooked breakfast, jams etc etc. Olwen is very eager to fulfill guests' wishes! It is wonderful to talk and laugh with both of them, exchange ideas and listen to interesting stories from their many journeys. They are very helpful in giving hints for daytrips or activities. Maranatha Country Houset is so much more than just a bed and breakfast!

The hosts were most welcoming and friendly. Fabulous service. The bed was super comfortable, the room very spacious with a huge balcony and a great view. I loved the big chandelier in the bedroom. It was a very peaceful quiet place. Close to Blarney. Breakfast was lovely.

My stay at matanatha house was the best hotel visit I've ever had, the room was luxurious very clean and had great variety of teas and shower gels. The shared balcony was very relaxing to longue on the breakfast was divine with great variety of cold food and good options of hot food but by far the best part of my experience here was the staff, both alwin and Trish were extremely friendly and helpful, they made us feel so at home even giving us ice cream rhet are lovely people and this is a lovely b&b I would highly recommend staying here.

A beautiful, stately manor set on a quiet hilltop, yet with easy access to main highways, and just west of Blarney and Cork. Olwen and Douglas are exceptional hosts who truly take pride in extending hospitality to their guests. We enjoyed the comfort of a spacious room, comfortable king size bed, full ensuite, walk-out to a deck overlooking the gardens. Breakfast included many hot and cold choices and was served in the bright and attractive breakfast conservatory. Maranatha House is an exceptional bed and breakfast, and is also an excellent value.

this bed and breakfast is very comfortable. it is well located in youghal a short walk to the heritage quarter, shops, restaurants, cinema, park and a fabulous beach. there is on site carparking.. the beds are comfortable, flat screen TV, good wifi and breakfast is very tasty! the Hosts are friendly and helpful. I will certainly stay there again next time im in youghal.

John and Mary were absolutely lovely! Wonderful hosts. Unobtrusive, but always available if we needed recommendations on where to go or help with dinner reservations. We booked 3 rooms for our family vacation, and each one was fantastic. Nice sized rooms with very comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and - our favorite - comfortable recliner chairs in all of our rooms! Perfect for relaxing in the evenings after sightseeing in nearby Cork and Cobh. We loved walking along the sea in Youghal, and walking to different restaurants for dinner. I can't close without mentioning the delicious breakfasts - ok, they were our favorite thing at the Avonmore! We loved the morning yogurt with berry compote and the hot menu selections. We each had a favorite - the ham, cheese & onion omelet, the smoked salmon with perfectly scrambled eggs, and the sourdough pancakes. All are missed now that we're home. You must try John's soda bread with jam. Yum! We would definitely stay there again.

My self and my husband stayed for 2nights at this beautiful guest house ..hosts John and Mary so lovely and made us feel so welcome..we stayed in bedroom 3..the bed was so comfortable as was the pillows...very quiet home and guests were so quiet .the dining area for breakfast was so cozy.and we enjoyed the most tasty breakfast with sourdough pancakes .homemade breads and lovely tasty extras .orange juice was from freshly squeezed oranges .a most lovely stay here and we highly recommend a visit ..John and Mary thank you a pleasure to have met you both .Susan and Vinny xx

Really lovely BnB in a big old house located within walking distance from just about anywhere you would want to go in Youghal. Staff were friendly and welcoming and gave us great suggestions for dinner. The room was clean and comfy, shower pressure was great, and the bed was so cosy and soft. We really enjoyed breakfast as well. John is quite the baker! Loved the homemade bread.

Stayed in International Hotel , Killarney , on sunday night last with three other friends. We were thrilled to be upgraded to executive rooms. We found staff to be extremely ,extremely, courteous, helpful and professional The decor had olde world charm but extremely modern too. This is my favorite hotel on this trip to Ireland, it was luxurious, a big Jacuzzi tub, great food, so many restaurants within walking distance, that were just excellent, across from the outlet mall, walking distance to the main shopping district, and the room itself was such great bedding, and so quiet, I slept 12 hours without being woken up! It’s absolutely beautiful as well.

Food a high standard, cleanliness throughout the whole hotel, top class, perfect location - I very highly recommend this Hotel - 11 out of 10! Killarney National Park right next door, and the town centre a two minute walk away. I am really looking forward to booking another stay in this Hotel very soon.

Beautiful lobby and decor throughout. Beds were comfy, lovely fluffy robes and slippers provided. Luxury toiletries also. The pool is nice with sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room. We had breakfast in cafe du park both mornings it was lovely. Location is perfect right in the heart of the town. free parking but when we arrived back on our second day it was full so had to park in the paid Parking lot. Staff at reception were very welcoming. Definitely recommend and will be staying again.

upon arrival we got upgraded from deluxe room to a suite so that was a good start anyway. good spacious room with very comfortable king size bed,jacuzzi bath was a bonus. very nice decor and very clean hotel with a nice homely feel. beautifully xmas tree in main reception and decorations throughout. very nice leisure centre also. will most certainly be back. perfectly situated also.

The staff were absolutely wonderful! My sister and I were treated so well. As young girls, we often find hospitality services don’t always treat us as valued customers, but the staff at this hotel exceeded our expectations. Lesley, in particular, was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about the area, gave us some recommendations and really helped us set a vibe for our day. He’s a complete asset to the hotel, so personable and accommodating! The facilities were great, the pool, jacuzzi and sauna/steam rooms were such a treat. The pool area is low lit, so it’s calming and has a luxurious feel. The room was really nice, very classic Irish style. Bed and pillows were super comfy. The bar was lovely, we had lunch here one of the days and it was fabulous. The “Tipsy Lemonades” are unreal! The cocktails are phenomenal. We had some sent to our room, and they were flawless. The “Pamplemousses Spritz” is by far the best cocktail I’ve had! Breakfast was also great, amazing scrambled eggs and just overall a really good array of food options. The location is perfect. You can walk into the town easily or go for a lovely river walk in the National Park which is right next to the hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The location was perfect as you can walk everywhere in the city center so no need to drive. You can easily walk to shops, ATM, National park and of course tons of pubs. I ate dinner in the hotel, albeit a smaller menu for a tour group, and it was great. The chicken was tender, fish and beef good with nice sauces, vegetables cooked perfectly and not rubbery and overcooked like some places due. Good dinner rolls and the pavlova for dessert was devine. The staff were fun and professional and very attentive to our needs. The breakfast buffet was good with some familiar foods that other hotels are serving: eggs, sausage, potatoes, roasted tomatoes, mushrooms and more. They had great tasting oatmeal/porridge with lots of toppings (raisins, cranberry, toasted coconut, toasted almonds, pepitas, and even more). Yogurts, cereal, fresh fruit both whole and cut up. Salad and cold cuts too. This was an outstanding buffet and I think everyone can find something they like. The pool was only 12 m long but I was able to stick to the side and get my laps in too. My only negative comment is that I don’t feel comfortable leaving my stuff unattended in an open cubby in the changing room at the pool. I think it’s better to have doors with locks. The locker room and pool area were both clean. This is a great spot to stay in Killarney.

We got a specious room with a view over the Bantry bay. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean and charming. No words to express how friendly and welcoming and helpful our hosts were. Thank you both Josephine and Barry. All was wonderful - beautiful house and front garden, tasty breakfast and the most welcoming hosts. Free car park at the place, which was quite important for visitors. On the other hand, Bantry is a charming town and the perfect starting point to explore West Cork, the Sheep's Head loop (drive and walk to the lighthouse), as well as the ring of Beara. All these sights are just amazing, especially for nature-lovers - stunning views all around. We were extremely lucky with the weather, having perfect sunshine and blue skies most of the six days we spent there. Highly recommended to everyone, you will not be disappointed!!! The Eden Crest is now in our list of favorite places to stay at. One of the best we have ever been to, and we will be back for sure.

What a joy EdenCrest was. After a long drive in bad weather,this was a perfect place to be. The owner, Josephine, greeted us with smiles. She quickly saw we were very tired and dispensed us to our beautiful room. Such a beautiful room. A large comfy double bed with soft crisp clean sheets and a colourful quilt. Attention to detail was amazing. The host had thought of everything ! Kettle- coffee- tea supplies plus a bottle of water for the kettle. Extra pillows. Hair drier etc. The room was spotlessly clean. I had requested a window that opened - got a large window which I’m sure in better weather would have beautiful view! Slept like a baby and woke to lovely soft music playing downstairs. The breakfast room was airy,bright and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! Great selection. Something for everyone’s taste. The host,Josephine is a ray of sunshine. She really cares about her guests and it shows. Would happily recommended and hope to revisit her. Private parking. Wi-Fi cover and free. Easy to find. Great location.

Josephine was really lovely and she made our stay very comfortable. Breakfast was glorious. Lots of fresh produce and the poached eggs were perfect. Honey was a nice surprise - the first time it had been offered during our stay in Ireland. The house was very cosy and the bed was extremely comfortable. We asked Josephine to recommend a restaurant which she did and we were not disappointed.

Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Rooms were spacious, clean and modern. The shower was amazing. would definitely recommend this B&B and if I’m visiting Bantry again I’ll be sure to return here.

Warm welcome at friendly, efficient check in. Very spacious room with really comfortable bed and goid linen. Yummy fresh baked chocolate cookies beside coffee maker with good range of teas and coffees. Safe in large wardrobe as well as iron and board. Fantastic water pressure and large dispensers for toiletries (and shower caps etc.) Pool was lovely and breakfast was good value. Lovely location overlooking Schull Harbour and close to walk to and from shops and restaurants. Beside carpark. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at this hotel, and particularly enjoyed having the apartment. We had the convenience of fixing our own meals and snacks and washing clothes, plus the added advantages of the facilities on-site like the swimming pool, bar and restaurant. Everything was lovely, clean and comfortable. Very convenient position in the town. Friendly and helpful staff. And the view was amazing!

Beautiful place , friendly staff & homely feel . Pool & Gym are excellent 👌 beautiful saunas, swimming pool, plus a lovely steam room & Jacuzzi . Great machines then in the gym to workout 💪& cleanliness are 10/ 10.

The hotel is clean and the rooms spacious. Easy to use showers, the knobs are not under the shower head, so you don't get hit by cold water when you turn it on. A kettle in the room is useful. Comfortable bed, the pillows not great, but pillows are tricky. Inclusive use of the leisure facilities is great, we really enjoyed having a swim and a jacuzzi after spending a long time in the car. The location is good, on a main road so the access is easy and easy, plenty of parking. There is a big Tesco 5 minutes away. We didn't eat at the restaurant because I have food allergies, but from what we saw, it looked well done with good portions.

I recently stayed at the Greenhills Hotel in Limerick and had a really lovely experience. The room was excellent – spotless, comfortable, and well-kept. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and welcoming. The location is a little bit outside of the town centre, but taxis in and out were easy to get, so it wasn’t an issue. The pool was a great bonus – clean and relaxing. The staff were all lively, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay, which made it even more enjoyable. I’d happily come back again. Highly recommend for a relaxing break in Limerick!

The staff were so friendly and the food in the restaurant was amazing so tasty and the portion size were just right. ,Beautful area, views were really pretty. The weather was nice which definitely helped. The house was really comfortable and spacious,, very clean. A really nice welcome pack of tea coffee, soda bread and white bread, sausages, juice,pudding,milk. Even a small supply of detergent, plus toiletries. We had difficulty locking the patio door and when i contacted Nathalie she responded immediately to say she would ask the maintenance man to call to us and he appeared a few minutes later, sorted the lock and no other issues after that

We had the most relaxing week. The lodge was beautiful, spotless clean, warm and very comfortable. Sheila and Joan were extremely helpful. We will definitely return.

Lovely cottages in a beautiful location with stunning views and a restaurant/bar on site. Great base to explore West Cork. All staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Sheila the manager. Big bonus is that they allow dogs and if you get good weather, it's unbeatable. Loved ot overall so will return.

The location was perfect, within easy reach of the town. The lodge had a beautiful view. It was a very good size, comfortable and had almost everything you needed. It was a bit tired but felt like home. I liked that we could use the fire and bring our own Christmas tree. Sheila is very helpful.

Greg greeted us and upgraded our accommodation to their apartment overlooking the Market Square (above the shoe store). It was warm and bright, modern and very spacious, in great condition, extremely clean and comfortable, kitchen well-stocked with basics and more, large dining room with a table for 8, large-screen TV included paid subscriptions, jacuzzi tub separate from a very large walk-in shower (largest I've seen in Europe), washer and dryer, very very large sun room opening onto an equally large deck. Skylights for viewing the stars from the large master bedroom with a firm king bed with high-count linens. Thoughtful extra touches. Very quiet at night. In the morning we were charmed by a small farmers market. Friendly vendors and a font of local information, Mrs Murphy's scones were the best we had in 2 weeks. Coffey's Fish & Chips (fresh cut for both) were great. Great home base for the region. We'll be back if we're anywhere near the area!

Greg and Barbara were perfect hosts. Very helpful and very responsive to communications prior to arriving. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, and fresh, lovely decor and individual touches.The room comfortable, the bed very comfortable. Greg and Barbara have obviously put a lot of love into this business. We enjoy the fine dining experience but have never encountered the fine Breakfast experience! We have never had such a Breakfast. Wow! Greg said it would be an experience...and it certainly was. A description wouldn't do it justice..experience this Breakfast and breakfast room yourselves. It has the wow factor. It really was the best breakfast ever. We could only imagine what a dinner cooked by Greg would be like and hope he finds his assistant chef soon. We can't recommend Zoes and Greg and Barbara enough. If you looking for a place in Kilrush- stay here. Greg and Barbara we wish you every success in your venture, it was a pleasure staying with you.

Our arrival at Zoe was initially a bit unsettling, as there was no one on-site and we had to make a phone call. However, any worries vanished the moment Greg crossed the street to warmly greet us and show us to our room. Up a short set of steps, we discovered a comfortable and very spacious room, complete with an equally generous bathroom featuring classy toiletries and a delightful waterfall shower. Internet was excellent, and convenient street parking was always available. The two single beds, typical of many hotels in UK and Europe, were exceptionally comfortable and cozy. The true highlight, though, was the included breakfast, prepared and served by Greg himself, with his wife Barbara and daughter Laura assisting. This was no ordinary hotel breakfast – everything was fresh, plentiful, absolutely delicious, and remarkably classy, making for a truly memorable start to our day. While in the area, don't miss the Kilkee Cliffs not from town, one of the reasons we were there.

The owner Greg created us at the door for checking in, very helpful gave us a tour of the room and its amenities. Tea, coffee and refrigerator. Nice shower and quite comfortable bedding. Location perfect to walk and explore shopping, restaurants. Breakfast was an additional charge and worth every dollar. The courses just kept coming all of the highest quality and flavors. The fruit cup included dragon fruit, pink grapefruit, peach and more very fresh. Followed by yogurt compote with toasted granola and drizzled with raspberry sauce. Accompanying this were homemade scones, croissants and toast. Delicious and perfectly presented . Then the main course, we chose the poached eggs with bacon . Artistically presented with grilled tomatoes and a seared mushroom cap. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Kilrush

Breakfast was best breakfast I ever had anywhere, chef Greg was the head chef in Trump International hotel, and the breakfast he and Barbara provide is amazing, home baked croisaants, scones and bread, delicious homemade pancakes and homemade raspberry jam. Their granola is homemade and is exceptional, the poached eggs served with avocado mushrooms and more were delicious Everything exceptionally tasty and beutifully presentation. The use of the big sitting room and game room with the grand piano, the pool table, the fire place and little sweets, was fabulous and the wine and the jacuzzi bath in the room were fab too!

My daughter and I were welcomed with genuine warmth the moment we arrived. Even with its interior of gorgeous grandeur, Rossmanagher House feels cosy, homely, and very much like a family home. Lorraine is a wonderful host—attentive, thoughtful, and full of fantastic recommendations for local sights, restaurants, pubs, and scenic walks. She truly went out of her way to make sure all our needs were met. We stayed for three nights in Room 4, which was exceptionally spacious, with a huge, comfortable bed, a sitting area, and a large bathroom. The view overlooked the tree-lined driveway and the field where horses graze, carefully watched over by two gorgeous sheepdogs. It was such a peaceful scene to wake up to each morning. Breakfast was more than ample, with fresh pastries, yogurt, fruit, and a full Irish cooked by Lorraine herself. She happily caters for vegetarians on request. We were so well fed in the mornings that we often didn’t even need lunch afterward! Rossmanagher House is a true gem—elegant yet welcoming, with hospitality that feels personal and genuine. We loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat.

Our short stay at the Rossmanagher house was a delightful experience. Lorraine is a warm and welcoming host. She's also very helpful and provided us with a delicious and generous (perfect) lunch in a magnificent setting. Even if it was very early in the morning since we had to catch an early ferry in Doolin. The country house is like a palace. Just when you enter the entrance hall you will be blown away. The rooms are very spacious (and this is an understatement), clean and are very well decorated. Everything is foreseen in the room also some bottles of water, tea/coffee, bathrobes and so much more. The beds are very comfortable. There's also a very large garden with outdoor furniture to relax. It's a unique place to stay, difficult to describe, best to experience it yourself.

Lorraine was the perfect hostess. She was very friendly and made me feel very welcome. My room was huge and had a lovely view over the garden. The bottled sparkling water in my room was a nice touch and much appreciated. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Lorraine made me a delicious cooked breakfast with bacon, eggs etc and served freshly made coffee. There was also a lot of baked products (muffins, croissants etc), cereal and fruit but unfortunately I couldn't fit anything else in after the cooked breakfast! I really enjoyed my stay and hope to return one day. Thank you so much Lorraine :)

Everything! Newly renovated… to a very high standard with great attention to detail. Every little inclusion you could wish for, even a heated jacuzzi! The owners, Melissa and Michael, have put a lot of love into this place and you can feel it. Breakfast was cooked to order by a chef and was yummy!

Everything was lovely! It was really a great experience. The room was gorgeous. And the breakfast... AMAZING !!!!!! Will definitely come back for a next trip in Kerry to enjoy the jacuzzi!

The bed was very much comfortable. Heating was good. Most impressive the bathroom as it has Jacuzzi. Free breakfast (self-service though). Big parking space.

It was just amazing to be able to use the kitchen and living facilities at any time of the day. The fridge was stocked with foods to make a full Irish breakfast, lots of cereals and fruits. You could just help yourself and clean up when finished. You could also bring in food later in the day to cook or heat up. It was really quiet in the area, but only an eight minute walk to the closest fuel station with McDonald’s. The host was super helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Good bed.

Host Tricia is so genuinely nice and welcoming and ensures that you feel at home while also keeping the place in top shape. The house is set in beautiful parkland overlooking Fermoy which further adds to its charm. My room was lovely - very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen is amazing - you can make your own tea and coffee and there is a very generous supply of lovely food for snacks and breakfast. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely stay there again.

Tricia was an excellent host, she made us feel very welcome, made the check in process very easy, provided us with a taxi and was so friendly overall. The room was extremely comfortable, excellent shower and comfortable bed. The breakfast situation was ideal, we were able to cook and use whatever we wanted in the kitchen, the late check-out time also meant that we could enjoy a relaxed breakfast.

Room is very nice and calm setting for a solo traveler, I love the Jacuzzi bath in the room, that is very confortable after long walk in National park and unexpected for B&B

Upon arriving, we were offered an upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi, which we took advantage of. The room was lovely, an easy quick walk to shopping and restaurants. Parking was inexpensive and easy in the the lot almost directly across the street. Breakfast was great with a selection that would suit everyone. If you are a hiker, you need to try the Gap of Dunloe. It takes about 2 hours, and the views are stunning! It's about 10 minutes from the downtown. Be sure to visit Ross Castle and the Muckross Estate and grounds.

I did upgrade for 15 Eur a night. The room was huge! Full kingsize bed with a large walk-in closet (could have put a blow-up mattress in there for kids). The jacuzzi tub was a lifesaver after a long day of hiking. WiFi was great, streamed Netflix movies as I winded down at days end. Parking for the car was great, and I toured the Circle of Kerry for one of the days and then drove the Dingle Circle the second (both are possible to drive with only one or two difficult spots). I would stay here again!

This is a unique place to stay. Great for a couple wanting a romantic weekend away. We loved the quirky eclectic (slightly eccentric) luxury and facilities. The garden view from our bedroom was fantastic. We made good use of the spa, sauna and pool. We watched the sunset in the conservatory while sitting in a massage chair. White carpets, and velvet chairs surrounded by a beautiful garden and renaissance inspired garden statues. It was a destination in itself. The host was wonderful. Very clear instructions; remove shoes to save the white carpets and how to use the elaborate Japanese toilets (I want one now) - without being intrusive. We loved the 10 minute walk into town for breakfast and discovered a fabulous pub where we could have dinner overlooking the river at sunset. We had the garden view room which shared the bathroom with another 2 rooms but this wasn’t a problem as we didn’t really see the other guests (they all spent the day at the beach).

Using the outdoor hottub with a Westerly view while the sun began to set behind some big fluffy clouds was a wonderful experience. Fully equipped kitchenette, including kettle and microwave, made it easy to self cater.

It had everything we needed. Warm and clean and comfortable. Being able to book the Jacuzzi and Sauna was fab, and good value, so we loved that.

This bed and breakfast exceeded all expectations. Breakfast was incredible — a delicious selection of fresh fruit, juices, and coffee, followed by an unforgettable Full Irish breakfast. The homemade scones were simply fabulous! The entire place was spotless, and the location couldn’t have been better — just a short walk (about 5 minutes) to the town centre, with shops and pubs all nearby. The owner was exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming stay!

If we could give extra stars, we would. We were greeted warmly by Lorcán who helped take our bags to the room. We had a lovely view to the sea and across the bay to green rolling hills. Our room had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The bed was heavenly. Loved the ability to go downstairs and sit inside or out, comfortably. We could make an espresso, get cold water and a kitkat snack. The garden theme is carried throughout the property. The coasters even had flowers! Staff was cheerful and kind. Breakfast was amazing. There was a round table with fresh scones, a bowl of fresh fruit, your choice of cereal or granola and a flummery. The flavor of scone and flummery changed daily. The table had a beautiful centerpiece of fresh flowers. The selections for a hot meal were perfect. The presentation was four-star restaurant caliber. We wondered if the chef was a Michelin chef working undercover in Dingle. The location is perfect for a stay in Dingle

We spent the last two nights of our south west Ireland road trip here and we couldn't have picked a better place. A great location in Dingle itself being close to a number of bars and restaraunts but still quiet and peaceful. Everybody was friendly and helpful, from being greeted on arrival, to service at breakfast, through to letting us borrow a hoover to clean the car before we left! Use of the lovely lounge with the availability of tea, coffee and water available was a great bonus. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. After having the cooked breakfast and the fruit I'm only sorry that I didnt have enough room left to sample the scones!

I can honestly say it was the most comfortable b&b I've ever stayed in. My family had a wonderful time in Cork and staying in Lis-Ardagh was a great choice to make. The room was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Every morning, Carol and James prepared a delicious breakfast from a well thought out menu, plus there was also a variety of cereals, fruits on offer to go along with it. No expense was spared on the food available. The house was very clean and the garden was well taken care of. The B&B is situated in a rural area, but only a short distance from Skibereen which itself adds to it's charm. If you want to stay local, both Union Hall and Leap are two picturesque villages worth visiting. I'd also recommend visiting Dinty's bar in Union Hall for a meal. The county of Cork covers such a vast area with many attractions, Lis-Ardagh seemed like the right place to stay being the central point. Carol and James were the most friendly and helpful hosts and Lis-Ardagh is a wonderful place to stay. I sincerely recommend staying here if you visit the county of Cork.

Jim & Carol are the kindest hosts and really made our anniversary trip to Ireland so special. The room was exceptionally clean and the facilities fantastic, quiet, comfortable, all amenities including tea / coffee. The highlight for me was the fantastic breakfast every morning, cooked fresh and delicious every time and we tried almost everything over our 3 day stay! A wonderful location too, so quiet and peaceful in the morning and the warmest welcome will wait you. We really enjoyed our stay in union hall as a base for exploring west cork and the south coast and I highly recommend you stay here, you will not be disappointed! Carol even gave us baked supplies for the day and a flask of coffee for the road, so many kind gestures all of which were so appreciated. Thanks again for everything!

This was a lovely, relaxing and friendly stay - the best we have found so far in Ireland. We liked everything about it - the position was fantastic, near a lovely little fishing village, the welcome was warm and the bed extremely comfortable. Every detail was perfectly thought out. There was tea and coffee, a little dressing room and a very functional bathroom which provided an excellent hot shower. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding - full Irish, with delicious fresh fruit to start with, brewed coffee and fresh soda bread topped with homemade jams. Carol and Jim were wonderful hosts, along with their daughter Tara. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Lis-Ardagh Lodge is a lovely property. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable king bed, beautiful linens and a nice hot shower. Carol’s excellent taste in fabrics, window coverings, ceramics and paintings made our stay at Lis-Ardagh very special. The garden at Lis-Ardagh was blooming with wisteria, rhododendrons and azaleas to be enjoyed relaxing under an umbrella on their deck overlooking the gardens. Breakfast is a treat with yummy yogurt and Carol had a fresh bowl of fruit every morning with a made to order hot breakfast. We spent three blissful nights at Lis-Ardagh Lodge in Union Hall. We didn’t want to leave. I almost forgot to add the village of Union Hall has a great laundromat and you can buy their famous smoked fish at the Centra mini market next door. Lots of good restaurants between Union Hall and Glandore.

Everything. Carol and Jim are fantastic. They were extremely welcoming to their home. The house is fabulous, set in beautiful gardens. It is spotlessly clean, as someone else said, the shower is spotless, everything is. The beds were comfortable with plenty extra bedding if needed. A large bedroom, dressing room attached, then second bedroom and bathroom. Beautifully decorated rooms. A great selection of cereal, fresh fruit salad and natural yogurt, followed by pancakes or a full Irish or a few varieties of cooked eggs. Loads of choices of tea, couldn't say about the choice in coffee. Carol has an information pack in the room with loads of info. And both herself and Jim were a mine of information re stuff to see locally. They were fantastic to chat to. Carol exudes this sense of calmness that is just so relaxing. Nothing phases her.

Bridget's friendly demeanor during breakfast added a personal touch, making conversations delightful. The choice of breakfast was amazing; I indulged in both continental and hot food on my first day, but by the second day, I settled on the granola, yogurt, fruit, and delicious homemade bread (I even got the recipe!) along with some delightful cheeses—absolutely scrumptious! We also loved the convenience of the honesty bar. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep for both my husband and me. The guest house's convenient location, just a 5-minute drive from the town center, was a definite plus. The beautiful surroundings and lovely grounds further enhanced our experience in this stunning part of the world. Highly recommended!

I love everything about the room - cozy, spacious, convenient plug points. The most comfy bed I had on my Ireland trip - I slept like a baby! I love the bathroom too! Not too small, not too big. Thoughtfully designed and decorated, equipped with a tiny sunroof - can see the tree top and sky and give very good lighting. Oh yes, I love the dining area too. Beautifully designed and decorated. They will serve coffee/tea upon seating - helpful, friendly and attentive. Peaceful place - quiet because it is not located in the city centre nor near the road. Surrounded by trees and near a river. The river is not suitable for any activities though.

We had an amazing four-night stay at Gleann Fia Country House. The location is peaceful and idyllic, surrounded by beautiful gardens and nature, yet close to Killarney town. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our hosts and staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was exceptional every morning- fresh, delicious and generous. A truly relaxing and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

The guest house is amazing. Our rooms were very spacious and comfortable as were the bathrooms. There was a towel heater in the bathroom and the closet included bathrobes!! There were plentiful electrical outlets everywhere. The suite had abundant natural lighting. The owners Conor & Bridget take pride of ownership in so many details both large & small like the bowl of mints at the front counter. Conor provided guidance with our travel plans as well. There is a generous sized sunroom/common area with ample seating and room to gather with travel mates. There was tea, coffee, and an honor bar available in the guest lounge. As well as a library with books, DVD's etc. There was also an assortment of games and puzzles. There was lovely music playing in the lounge that added to the ambiance. There is also an adorable outdoor patio and the house is set in a beautiful natural setting in the woodlands on a river. A top-notch Breakfast was included in a bright breakfast room with endless fresh homemade delicious choices for both a continental & full irish breakfast made to order. It filled us up and held us over until supper after a long day of travelling.

Nicky and his family run a modern, plush and welcoming establishment. Rooms are renovated and luxurious. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was tasty and accommodating. Restaurants are walking distance from the hotel and the Cliffs of Moher are a short drive away.

Definitely one of the best places we ever stayed! The rooms are beautiful, modern looking and very very clean. The towels were really clean and smelling like flowers. The bed it’s comfortable and they have a big TV. They have iron, board and hairdryer if you need, and also a strong fan for the warmer days. The breakfast you have to order the day before what option you want. We chose the full Irish and it was lovely. They also serve a basked of various breads on the table and the scones were so fresh and delicious!!! There’s plenty of parking. The location it’s perfect to explore Clare and the Burren. Just 16 minutes from the Cliffs and Close to all the beautiful attractions. The staff is so nice and warm. we really want to give our thanks for the lovely gift and card they left on the bed to celebrate our anniversary. It was really emotional and special for us and we will never forget the gesture. Hope to visit the place soon!!!

One of the best B&B's I have ever stayed in, room was comfortable, shower was amazing after a long day of touring, the breakfast was fresh and delicious and the parking was free and easy. We felt very very much at home because the family was extremely kind and friendly. Sinead and Shane are perfect hosts, kind, generous and helpful in a way that goes far beyond what you expect from a B & B. Thank you for everything! Breakfast was delicious, a lot of things to choose: full Irish breakfast, variety of eggs, toast, homemade brown bread, fruits and yoghurt and an excellent coffee. The rooms are large and comfortabel. We stayed there for seven nights and the area is perfect to see Galway, Limerick, Ennis, Bunratty castle and the beautifull westcoast including 'The Burren' for adventurous hiking tours. In the village are some good restaurants and a traditional Irish pub where music events take place on weekends.

I love the breakfast the owners were so lovely so friendly so kind went out of the way to help us I had lovely conversations I would recommend this b&b I was so lucky to found such a lovely b&b the beds were so comfortable it was such a warm welcome atmosphere I will be back. It's less than a 10 minute walk to the castle it was perfect we had peaceful it was quiet it's perfect and cupcakes at breakfast were delicious ♥️♥️

Amazing place, a perfect balance of a nice cosy family hotel, but with lovely amenities. The bed was SO comfortable and the bathroom/shower were really modern and lovely. Then we get on to the staff who were incredible, couldn't do enough for you, and the breakfast... wow! Incredible, the soda bread was amazing, the full cooked irish breakfast was to die for... genuinely couldn't fault the whole experience. 10/10

What a lovely stay! Extremely friendly and welcoming staff, great breakfast and comfortable and clean room. The building is a gem with its wooden interior and delightful decorations. Location is just a short walk from the city centre with lots of restaurants (make sure to make a dinner reservation, especially in higher rated places, it gets busy!) and bars. On top of all that - spacious and secure parking.

Everything was top quality right from the moment we were greeted. The room was clean, and quiet, with super comfy beds and a private bathroom. Breakfast included fresh fruit, delicious fresh baked scones, and made to order hot breakfast to name a few, all of which were all amazing. We highly recommend Killarney lodge as Catherine, Markus & staff are super hosts! 10 out of 10!

We are seasoned travelers and this is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The room was large and comfortable. The bed was wonderful. The breakfast with made to order eggs, pancakes was delicious. Plus there was an array of fresh fruit, fresh breads, juices and more. The house smelled great due to the fresh flowers that were everywhere. There was a parlor with teas and biscuits. We had a medical crisis and Catherine was so sweet and helpful. The location was close to city center and pubs but quiet. It is just across the road from the national park. It is a wonderful property.

Dermot is a wonderful and welcoming host. He was available for advice and questions and generous with his time and ideas. He helped us find great restaurants both nights. We stayed there with our 3 adult children and both of the rooms were comfortable, had windows we could open to get fresh air, had hot water in the rooms, and were so comfortable. The location was perfect, enough away from town so it was quiet with a spectacular view and close enough to walk everywhere we wanted to go in town.

Beautiful building on a hill, 7 minute walk from the village center providing astonishing view of the bay and free car park. The owner loves his job, really friendly, always happy to give helpful and insightful information on local pubs and attractions. Felt like we stayed at his home. The breakfast area has amazing view. This place was magical! Lovely view! Large roomy bedroom with comfortable beds. So quiet and peaceful but just a short walk from restaurants and shops. Our host Dermot was so kind and hospitable making sure our every need was met and more! He also makes a delicious porridge for breakfast by the way! This is hands down the best bed and breakfast that we have stayed in!

We liked the location, a little out of town but a nice walk to town by the sea front or over the hill, footpaths all the way. Town is very busy but the B&B is in a very quiet location with fields of sheep and lambs, donkeys, goats, just down the road. Plenty of easy parking at the B&B. Breakfast consists of a small buffet with plenty of variety from which you can help yourself, plus a cooked to order menu served to your table along with tea/coffee and toast, all was very good. Mary and Ciara were relaxed, friendly and very helpful. They took time to chat with people, make recommendations and give assistance to their guests. Tea and coffee in the room, hairdryer, toiletries, fluffy towels, good wifi.

The Lighthouse was pretty, the facility was clean and well maintained and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very good, with the interesting added touch of a splash of Bailey's Irish Creme to the porridge (oatmeal) with fresh fruit. The croissants were flavorful, soft and flaky, unlike most we had at other locations. The Lighthouse has beautiful views of the water. It's a bit far from downtown for walking, but a taxi was easily available to take us into the heart of downtown for dinner. The owner was very pleasant and offered us a nightcap, which we enjoyed.

Its central location in Dingle is perfect — just a short walk from great restaurants, shops, and attractions, with handy on-site parking. Breakfast was a highlight: the Boostbowl is a refreshing and healthy addition to the usual offerings, and both the omelette and sourdough were excellent. On a rainy morning, we visited the Dingle Oceanworld Aquarium — a great family-friendly experience, especially recommended by the staff. Our daughter absolutely loved it. We’ll definitely be back!

The host and staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the host does a short, interesting presentation at breakfast with lots of local history on the Dingle Peninsula. She is very knowledgeable and also available with suggestions and ideas for exploring the area. Highly recommend!

The gated access points made us feel super safe at all times (not that Dingle isn't a safe town). Breakfast was like being in the family kitchen and it was DELICIOUS. The staff were so friendly and helpful and gave great suggestions for pubs and music. The room was very comfy and airy with skylights. Also, huge!

I can’t tell you how much I loved this place. Lovely room, plenty of towels, super comfy beds and linens, amazing breakfast cooked to order (pre-order) and the best staff. The owners were attentive, interesting and helpful with suggestions. There was secure parking too and the WiFi was good and strong. Try the porridge for breakfast - it’s like an Indian thali plate for you to add all sorts of bits and pieces and flavours to your own taste. For one night or longer, this bandb with self catering cottages is just fabulous.

Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our room was a good size. The hotel is spotless, very comfortable and in excellent condition. The food in the bar was fabulous. The atmosphere in bar and lobby is very relaxing, lots of comfy seating. You can walk to the park and into town in a few minutes. Excellent location. There's also lovely grounds around the hotel. The outdoor jacuzzi and spa area at the pool are lovely.

Perfectly situated in the town center, right across the street from the National Park — truly the best of both worlds. ROOM – LOVE LOVE LOVE. The girls from the office and I had the most wonderful stay at the Killarney Park Hotel. Our room was cosy, warm, comfortable, and spotlessly clean — it had everything we could have wished for and more. The leisure and spa facilities were fantastic. Our spa treatments were simply amazing — relaxing, luxurious, and delivered by the most professional and friendly staff. It was pure bliss from start to finish. It was also a glorious experience to sit in the outdoor heated pool while the rain gently poured down on our faces. Breakfast was second to none — truly a highlight of our stay. Loved this hotel. It was recently renovated and it is gorgeous. All of the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We had room 272, a balcony room. Very nice size room and huge bathroom. The balcony had no view because of an extended roof on the floor below it. I suppose if you just wanted to sit outside and look straight up at the sky that would be fine. It did allow a lot of light in the room, but the room was well lit anyway. Push button open and close drapery was nice. We enjoyed our dinner in the garden bar one night. Perfect location for doing ROK or just shopping in town. It was absolutely perfect. Easy parking. I would most definitely stay here again!

We felt very "looked-after" - Location and Garden: The gardens are beautiful and such a lovely place to eat outside when the weather is good enough. The location, high above the town of Baltimore, is very nice and is quiet & peaceful, being away from the town. You can walk down the hill to the town and harbour on a "loop" and also out to the Baltimore Beacon, which offers great views and sunsets. Altogether a very enjoyable visit that will remain in our memories!

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! A small family run hotel, which is super comfortable and beautifully laid out, with gorgeous courtyard gardens and comfortable sitting areas. The restaurant is superb - really top class food, although it is important to book your table though - they take dinner reservations from non-residents, and the food is so good that they have quite a reputation and book up fast! The staff in hotel are very friendly and helpful, and they even give you a welcome drink on arrival. The hotel has a well stocked bar in addition to the restaurant. Breakfast is also superb. Overall staying at Rolf's is a wonderful and utterly enjoyable experience, which I will definitely be repeating!

This is such a lovely, cosy, homely place to stay. From the start of our visit to the end the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, cooked to order. I’d come back for the breakfast either way! Garden is so well maintained. Plus it’s a quick walk to Baltimore village. We received a warm welcome when we checked in, with a complimentary drink in the beautiful and sunny garden. Our room was clean and quiet and perfect for our two night stay. We dined in the restaurant on our first night, and the food was delicious. We enjoyed cocktails in the bar on our second night, which were also very good. The continental tower for breakfast was served beautifully. Also, the cooked to order omelette and scrambled eggs with bacon were very tasty! Overall, it was a fantastic stay!

This review is based on a 17 night/5 property road trip, so is relatively objective. I stayed for 3 nights solo. Easily found with plenty of parking and a welcoming/hands on owner. Comfortable, clean & well equipped if on the very compact sized Standard Double room. Modern bathroom size akin to a cruise ship. Room size no problem for me, but couples may struggle a little if they are accustomed to spacious country house rooms. Larger rooms are available. The whole relaxing property is immaculate, clearly having been subjected to plenty of refurbishments and ongoing maintenance. Small comfortable lounge to relax in - see room size comment above. The gardens are delightful. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for dinner on 2 (Sun/Mon) of my nights, but the standard of food presented on the 3rd night was excellent. Breakfasts were to a high standard. Easy walking distance (there is a hill for those with mobility problems) of the lovely harbour town with a couple of pubs and some alternative eating options. Recommended, but be aware of my room size comments.

We dined here for breakfast and dinner, all of the food tasted amazing and was presented to the highest standard. The cocktails also went down a treat with a top-class presentation thanks to all the bar staff. All of the waitstaff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, providing the highest level of service. As someone who worked in a 5-star hotel for 5 years, I was blown away by every little detail in this hotel from the aesthetic to the incredible staff who made our stay so special. A special thank you to Katarína who phoned me the night before we arrived to confirm our itinerary and helped to accommodate a last-minute request to make customized cocktail menus for the bride to make the stay more personal for her. Everyone working here has been nothing short of fantastic not only during our stay but in the months leading up to our stay. We had the best girly night away From the minute we arrived, got an early check in with the package that we went for, Gin & chocolate tasting. To the minute we left the staff were all so friendly & helpful. We had the gin tasting in the afternoon and we got to taste some lovely local gins. Before & after dinner we had some Devine cocktails Dinner was in the Lane restaurant which was delicious, we just couldn’t eat it all. Breakfast was delicious as well and it was nice to see that it wasn’t buffet and everything was made to order. We had a brilliant girls night away, we will definitely be back Thanks to all the staff for a relaxing chilled night away

The facilities were clean and wonderfully/uniquely decorated. The staff was friendly, helpful and informative. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom area was great with a big soaking tub and separate shower. The breakfast area was fun to eat in due to the decor and fresh tasty options such as poached eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, granola, oatmeal, toast, bacon, etc. The location was very handy for day trips to the Dingle Peninsula, Killarney National Park and for just walking around the town with all of its shops and restaurants.

After staying in many hotels all around the country on our visit over 11 days, we found the Ross Hotel room to be the most special. Our room had a king bed, fireplace, sitting area and a spacious bath and closet area. Our view was a back alley and also a lovely side view of a church. Even though we could hear music from the downstairs businesses, our room was very comfortable and we slept well. We experienced an extra helpful and friendly front desk staff, especially Katrina. Also giving very good service was Dermott in the Gin and Champagne bar who truly has a passion for his craft. Dinner in the upstairs bar was very good and the decor throughout was unique and fun. We will stay at the Ross Hotel again if we visit Killarney in the future. Everything was first rate!

This was a great hotel within walking distance of everything. We walked to all the shopping, eating and sights easily. The area is safe and very friendly. Our rooms were large, clean and newer. The hotel itself is very well maintained with a great bar and restaurant on site as well as a couple of pubs next door as well as a coffee shop only steps away for early risers like me. What a gem of a place. The best place we stayed over a week of visiting Ireland. Set back off the main road in Doolin down a small lane and only a few minutes drive to the local pub. The guest house has its own parking outside, so very accessible. The rooms were all lovely and thoughtfully furnished. Lovely decor and very comfortable beds. Spacious with a very welcome tea/coffee making facilities and biscuits! The bathrooms were large and everything was exceptionally clean. Room 2 has beautiful views. The guest house also offers breakfast which was very good value and comprehensive, with the option of a cooked breakfast or continental. We met the owner of the guest house while having breakfast and he was very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this guest house if you are planning to stay in Doolin.

Very easy check in to this beautiful modern accommodation. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly and provided advice on local walks. A lovely comfortable bed with tea and coffee facilities and water provided in the room. Choice of continental or full Irish breakfast and they were extremely tasty. Within easy walking distance of two trad musicpubs who provide tasty meals and also Doolin Village with a variety of restaurants and shops.

What a beautiful place to stay! Our room was spacious, very very clean, comfortable bed and pillows, easy to find and helpful instructions for checking in. Breakfast looked delicious, loved the coffee! Gorgeous property with two adorable kitties and a doggie, made me feel right at home. The hosts are delightful and friendly and helpful, I loved my stay at their beautiful lodge!

The house was located in a quiet and secluded location in an attractive setting with plenty of private parking. It was about a 10 min walk into town which was fine. The twin room I shared with my son was large comfortable and immaculately clean. The temperature was perfect the facilities were excellent. The house is very well kept and professionally run. Overnight the room was quiet and the beds, which were large size singles, very comfortable. Breakfast was included and given the price charged for the accommodation, not only of a high standard but also very generous. For example we were served real coffee (not instant!) and it was very good. Overall this was a great find, as from the moment of our arrival, until the moment of our departure, our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Dont hesitate in booking this B&B as I genuinely think it would be hard to better at any price!

The B&B is located 500 metres outside the town centre, but is therefore very quiet and spacious. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable and the rooms could be darkened perfectly. Our hosts are very friendly and helpful, and they gave us great tips for dinner and live music. The breakfast was delicious, we could choose between different options. The breakfast room is very tastefully decorated. We would love to come back again!

I arrived late but was greeted with a smile from the great host, Norman. He was friendly and informative and made me feel at home. The location is superb and so too is this property. It was well clean and had traditional fixtures and fittings and was well heated. The room was clean and fresh with large bed, tv, hot shower and wardrobe space. It was so quiet and the bed and pillows were probably the most comfortable I’ve experienced - and I have serious spinal problems. The breakfast was 10/10 and plenty of it. The price made me wonder how this host can make any money. Amazing! Hope to visit again soon.

Blossom Hill B&B was the perfect and ideal spot for us to stay for our night in Killaloe. The B&B itself was spotless, spacious and very homely. This was our first time staying here as it was a present for our Anniversary from our children, we have to say that this was very much an Outstanding stay..from the time we arrived ,to being greeted from the loveliest person Maura, who honestly was so professional and friendly , we couldn't fault a single thing. We were delighted to receive an upgraded room which was very spacious, clean,modern and extremely comfortable. The beds here are like sleeping on clouds! Everything here is pure quality and luxury. We ate at the ivy restaurant and it was delicious! The breakfast next morning was one of the best breakfasts we ever have had, it was lovely to have table service for breakfast and everything was freshly cooked, piping hot and quality ingredients. I must commend the staff at the Victoria, every person we interacted with were very friendly, polite and professional. We will be recommending here to all our family and friends and without a doubt we will be returning here.!!

I had a great stay at the No 1 Pery Sq. The rooms are lovely, the room was warm. The bed is comfy and the shower is good. The staff are friendly, especially the night staff gentleman who was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and again the staff very friendly. My personal preference is for tea and coffee in the room, which they didn’t have but that is my only problem. The area is quiet but very close to Limerick Colbert railway station, which suited me admirably. I would stay here again.

We cannot say enough good things about No. 1 Pery. We stayed in a heritage period style room...it was fabulous. It felt like we were staying in a B and B. The room was clean and quaint. The staff was fabulous- they offered so much help and advice, even helping us book some things to do. The food was fabulous- we definitely suggest getting the breakfast...the fruit and bread spread was fresh and delicious, and the hot plates were fabulous. We tried just about everything while there, and there wasn't a thing on the menu we could complain about. The onsite spa was amazing, too. While researching this trip, we read through some other reviews: 1) This is a boutique hotel, so yes, it does not have many "modern" amenities (gym, pool, A/C, etc.). If you want modern, look somewhere else...otherwise, you will be absolutely delighted with your stay. 2) It is in the city, so yes, there will be noise from the city, especially if you sleep with the windows open (as we did). Where it is located, it does quiet down later in the evening once the sun goes down (which is later than we were used to). Frankly, we found the birds to be more of a nuisance than the sounds of the city. Overall, we slept well the whole time there. The hotel is perfectly located to explore the western part of the island...there's even a train station a few blocks away so you can hop a train to just about anywhere. Overall, No. 1 Pery was fabulous. We highly recommend staying here- we certainly will again.

The receptionists walked me to my room and they ordered tea to my room. The bed was luxurious as was the rosemary, lavender sea salt soak that I had that night. Bathrobe and slippers too. I felt pampered. Breakfast was delicious! A variety of breads, starters and main items. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was quiet and very comfortable. A short walk to O’Connors street for shopping. Loved it!

I ended up staying unexpectedly, so I didn't get to check out the bar, but it looked lovely from a distance. I was expecting a big old worldly room but I was in a modern compact part of the building which was reflected in the very reasonable price. Bath products supplied were by Voya, one of my favourites. I suggest putting them in large containers for environmental reasons but then because they were in small ones I took them with me and got to use them for days. I hope to visit again.

The food is really superb, wonderful breakfast with plenty of choice, and I would highly recommend dining in the restaurant in the evening as I dined in it the second night and it was fantastic..the seabass was delicious! The staff are extremely welcoming, and I'd particularly like to thank David on reception, and the lovely gentleman who did the breakfast, (unfortunately I did not get his name), thank you for minding me so well...I'll be back!!! Oh, and a little tip for guests who may like a sea swim...you simply must go to Templenoe pier, it's 8km out the road and is an absolutely perfect location to swim!!!! Enjoy!

The Irish wolfhounds and all the dogs who roam the castle were so cute and friendly as well. Esther, our server in the dining room for breakfast was most helpful in providing us with information about the area and places we should visit. She was so sweet!

Absolutely amazing! Romantic, magical, and well suited for a lovely getaway with friends or a partner. The grounds were lovely to walk after breakfast, and in the evening before bed. The restaurant was delicious and staff was above and beyond helpful and kind. The bedding and rooms were lovely and comfortable. I slept so well there! The friendly pups that made you feel at home, were the highlight of our trip and stay. We thank the caretakers and owners for their amazing attention to detail. We can't wait to come back!

Always love coming back here for complete chill out, everything you could want from a stay in an exceptional castle, and more. Esther and her team, and the entire staff couldn't have been nicer. They were very attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel so comfortable. The AHERN room is sensational, nicely furnished with a wonderful view of the gardens, clean, warm and have all the amenities needed. The breakfast was fantastic. The service was astounding. We had a wonderful stay at Old Weir Lodge in Killarney. The guesthouse was charming, spotless, and very comfortable, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our rooms were spacious and well appointed, and we especially appreciated the quality of the breakfast each morning. It was delicious and offered a great variety. We loved the cozy common rooms and spent one evening there playing games and enjoying a drink. It was a perfect way to wind down after a day of exploring. They also offer fans for the guest rooms, which we really appreciated since the room could get warm at night. The location was ideal, just a short and pleasant walk into the town center, close to shops, restaurants, and the entrance to Killarney National Park. Parking was easy and convenient, which made coming and going stress free.

Front desk staff very kind, nice check-in, she gave us ideas for places to eat dinner and to visit in Killarney. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom with hot rack for bath towels. Breakfast staff were friendly. Very good breakfast; you get to order one item off the hot menu with either coffee or tea. I ordered the Irish breakfast (very good) and asked if they had hot chocolate instead of the coffee or tea (yes they did). You also get the buffet with cheeses, cold cuts, Irish bread, juices, pastries, yogurt.

We are so grateful that a friend from Dublin referred us to the Old Weir Lodge for a visit to Killarney for a wedding. The rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds, great bathrooms with bath tub & shower and excellent water pressure, and the breakfasts were superb. There are also two large lounges. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, (excellent breakfast service) and especially Niall, who patiently helped us navigate our way to various destinations. The location is perfect, within walking distance to restaurants, pubs, shops, and nightlife. We are so happy we stayed at the Old Weir Lodge!!

The lodge was very well located, just outside of the main town but within an easy 10 minute walk. The staff were friendly, welcoming & helpful & the rooms comfortable & well appointed. Breakfast was plentiful, with cold help yourself options plus hot breakfast cooked to order. We also liked the fact that they had a small bar for guests to use so we could have a drink before heading out to dinner or a nightcap before turning in. We stayed here for 2 nights to explore the region & drive the Ring of Kerry.

The staff was amazing and helpful. When we checked in, Linda gave us some recommendations and helped us book dinner (we loved it so much we returned the following night with help from the front desk staff again, I forgot to ask her name, but she was friendly and helpful too). The breakfast staff were inviting and cheery in the morning and the food was tasty and filling. The room was very comfortable. We had drinks in the lounge one night it was fantastic.

They even had fruit and granola bars to take with you for a snack/light lunch and encouraged you to take some. They offered an afternoon and evening tea/coffee/hot chocolate with a light snack. My husband's birthday was while we were staying at Ashville House. They sang Happy Birthday to him at breakfast and bought a small birthday cake for him to have with his evening hot chocolate. They went above and beyond our expectations! Lovely peaceful music was always playing in the sitting room where they served us afternoon or evening snack. We were able to walk to a restaurant but many were within a 5-10 minute drive. They have brochures of things to do in the area on the table in the sitting room. They also have several books about Ireland. The area the Ashville House is located in safe and quiet. We stayed here 6 nights.

We loved absolutely everything about Ashville House. This B&B is set in a very peaceful area, yet very convenient for restaurants etc. in Tralee. The hosts, Tim & Rose, went out of they way to make our stay wonderful and relaxing. The room was spacious, spotless and really comfortable; and the breakfast experience was exceptional with a huge choice of freshly prepared food, plus an amazing selection of breads, cereals, fruit, cheeses etc. Everything in the house is absolutely top quality - from the plush lounge, to the breakfast room cutlery! A fantastic climax to our 10 day tour of Cork and Kerry. Thank you.

- Upon arrival, we were greeted by Rose and offered a tea or coffee with some cake and cookies that we could enjoy in the lounge. She also provided us with slippers of the sort you would receive in a hotel. - The breakfast was delicious and healthy. There were many, many fruit options including fresh berries. There were grab and go items, and there was also a menu of made-to-order items. The pancakes my daughter ordered were beautifully garnished with pomegranate seeds and berries. We ate in a sunroom with a view of the garden. - Our room was very clean, modern, and fresh. The shower was particularly good and the bed was very comfy. - There was adequate space for guests to park outside the house. - Each room has bottled still and sparkling water at no charge. - When Rose and Tim learned of a problem we had that affected all aspects of our trip but that had nothing to do with Ashville B&B, they kindly jumped in to help us work out part of the solution, going above and beyond. Tim also assisted with tour research when we had to adjust our plans.

Everything about this place exceeded expectations. The staff were extremely helpful and professional. The ambience was elegant. The common areas, lounges, bars and restaurants were beautifully furnished and inviting. Breakfast included a wide range of freshly prepared food, and we had a table by the window both days with fantastic views. Our bedroom suite was spectatular, greatly exceeding expectations. It was unusually large with nice furnishings and a comfortable bed. There was a walk-in closet and the bathroom was enormous and included a jacuzzi tub. We were able to spend hours and hours hiking and visiting Muckross Abbey, Muckross House, Torc Waterfall and Dinis' Cottage right from the front of the hotel. We had dinner at the bistro. The service and food and ambience were all excellent, and there were three main vegetarian choices on the menu, a rarity to find! Another visit to Ireland will definitely include a return visit to this fabulous hotel in its beautiful lakeside setting.

The setting was amazing, with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. The hotel itself was warm and comfortable during the cold March weather. The food in the restaurant for dinner was very tasty and breakfast was exceptional. There was lots of space in the hotel, beautiful rooms and areas for relaxing in front of the log fires. The bedrooms and bathrooms had all the amenities required including tea/coffee making facilities, tissues, fan, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, body lotion, safe, robes & slippers, fresh water available throughout the hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel was packed for St Patrick’s weekend, but there was no noise on the corridors at night, it was unbelievably quiet and peaceful. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The thermal suite was beautiful and so relaxing. The outdoor hydrotherapy facilities were refreshing and unique. A special word for the staff, they were exceptional. This includes staff at reception, the staff at breakfast and dinner, the bar staff and the cleaners. Each one of them were so friendly and helpful. They could not do enough for you. We will return to Killarney just to stay in the Lake Hotel.

The view overlooking the lake was absolutely amazing. There was a lot of property to take an evening stroll and the property was very peaceful. The breakfast buffet was fire. There was a large selection for any taste including an Irish breakfast spread. For lunch and dinner, there were restaurant and bar options within the hotel. The room was very spacious and comfortable.

Where to begin? Set in an idyllic spot with views of the lake, a medieval castle, surrounded by great walks, it is a beautiful historic building, with fabulous customer service, and great food. The hotel is a bit out of town, and the town seems to have a great vibe - so you could walk into town if you wanted to go to a pub, and catch a taxi back. However, we were happy to stay in the hotel in the evenings, we found the bar to be so lovely, reasonable prices, and the bar menu fantastic. We loved the wings! One evening, the bar hosted the O'Donoghue Sisters who sang and played live music on a variety of instruments. We were inclined to go to bed but Jerome encouraged us to stay. It was an amazing night - not overly crowded, just perfect. One afternoon we ate the scones, which were delicious - with lemon curd, strawberry jam and clotted cream!! I definitely recommend the scones. The room was spacious and the breakfast incredible (a variety of buffet hot and cold items as well as a choice from an a la carte menu). The customer service at this hotel we found to be superb. I highly recommend this gorgeous property.

We stayed at The Ashe Hotel for two nights to celebrate our anniversary, and it was such a lovely experience from start to finish. The room was beautiful, clean, and incredibly comfortable – the perfect place to unwind and relax. The staff truly made our stay special. The reception team were so kind and welcoming, and Mabi, the duty manager, was especially helpful – answering every question we had with such warmth and patience. Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious, and our dinner was even better – we ordered the steaks and they were cooked to perfection. The drinks and cocktails were great, and the bar staff were friendly, cool, and created such a relaxed atmosphere. Overall, a really pleasant and memorable stay. We left feeling happy, well taken care of, and already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

Our room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We started each day with a delicious breakfast (with a lot of options / variety). We ate at the restaurant for dinner on our first evening. Despite being busy, the restaurant was able to accommodate us which was very much appreciated after a long day of travel. We had a rental car and parking was easy and plentiful. The location was great - close to coffee shops and restaurants! On top of it all the hotel is beautifully decorated and the staff were incredibly friendly!

It was great being in the Ashe Hotel. We had 4 hotels during our stay in Ireland. The Ashe hotel was THE BEST!!!  Nice room.  Clean room and clean elevator, clean bar, clean restaurant, clean hotel.  Staff was very friendly but also hospitable. This is honestly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in in a long time. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL. The decor is so pleasing, fresh, and unique. It made us feel so comfortable and at home. The staff were all friendly and helpful any time of day. The breakfast was in their gorgeous event room that is eye candy with its rust, greens, and gold accents. But most importantly, their breakfast buffet is over the top! They have everything you could possibly want and it’s all good. We did have dinner in the restaurant one night and thought the food was just ok for the price. Parking is available on site. Tralee is a great starting point for the Dingle peninsula or the ring of Kerry. Highly recommend this wonderful boutique hotel!

We had two very enjoyable nights here. The woman who runs the B&B was great and very amiable. The breakfast she served us each morning was delicious! Also, the view from our room was terrific. It was lovely to wake up to the water views. The area is a little remote, but very peaceful. The village/harbor is about 1km away, and very walkable during the day. Also, there's a cozy pub right up the street where we had dinner both nights.

A few of us were in West Cork for w/e to attend SCAR - Skibbereen charity adventure race, and Channel View B&B in Baltimore was ideal as located only a few km away. It is a lovely little village and Margaret has an immaculate B & B only a short stroll from nearest pub n restaurant, room and house was spotless and breakfast was great, she even made us porridge on request and couldn't be friendlier, bed was comfortable and shower was powerful and hot, also great views of the bay from most windows, a shame our stay was so short.

The view from the property in rain or shine was brilliant, the breakfast was very enjoyable and my hubby would recommend the homemade Marmalade (unfortunately we forgot to purchase some before leaving, but another good excuse to go back lol ) The property was clean throughout and the water hot! Plus a comfy bed which is also a bonus! Within walking distance of the town.

Atmospheric house. This is what we were looking for. Our room was upstairs. Very cozy, with a sea view, a bit small for a longer stay. A separate bathroom just for us on the ground floor next to the kitchen. There is also a common room with a fireplace and a sofa, perfect for rainy days. We arrived after check-in time and the keys were waiting for us on the table. A huge advantage is the spacious, fantastically equipped kitchen. We had the opportunity to prepare a hot dinner. Lots of products to prepare your own breakfast. This is a big advantage if you want to start your trip early in the morning. Quiet, beautiful, peaceful.

My fiancé and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night after visiting the Blarney Castle and it was nearly perfect! The entire hotel staff was welcoming, friendly, and accommodating! The castle entrance is less than 2 min walk across the street and there are several restaurants in the area that are suitable for every occasion. We had a phenomenal traditional Irish breakfast in the morning at the hotel that really gets you day started on a positive note. They also have a pub right downstairs that was perfect for a pint after a day of driving and walking around. The room was extremely spacious, clean, and comfortable! The only hiccup would be the WiFi being a bit spotty but after a few tries worked for the most part. I would highly recommend this hotel and will always come back given the opportunity!

All the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, nothing was too much trouble. We ate both dinner and breakfast in the hotel, and the food was delicious, and the bar where we chose to eat dinner had a lovely, warm, friendly feeling. Free parking was available in their carpark, and I think in front of the hotel. Our room was large, characterful, beautjfully decorated, and comfortable with a lovely view across the park.

Perfect location for access to the castle. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Pub was fun and comfortable. Ate dinner in the bar, and we were both very pleased with the quality of the food. Breakfast was very tasty. Owners actively involved in the day-to-day, and seemed very eager to accommodate any needs or requests we had. We'd return in a heartbeat.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful and an amazing breakfast was included. The location was perfect for visiting Blarney castle the next day. We had dinner in the restaurant, I would highly recommend that. We also spent the evening in the bar enjoying the live music and fun atmosphere.

From the moment we entered the premises of Brook Lane we had a great feeling about the place. We were greeted by a lovely lady at reception who checked us in, sorted our dinner booking and showed us to our room. She then sent up tea for us as we got settled in. We made our way to the restaurant then and there was a happy, relaxed atmosphere all around. The restaurant was busy but there was plenty of friendly, attentive staff to see to the customers' needs. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and were glad to hear that the chef uses items/produce on the menu sourced from their own farm our nearby. We were advised by staff about walks around Kenmare town so after dinner we made our way to the town. When we returned later on we were delighted to see that there was a wide range of television channels available. The facilities were lovely and clean. The following morning we browsed the breakfast menu and enjoyed some delicious scones, fruit and juice while we made up our minds about the hot breakfast options from the kitchen. We had a wonderful stay and we hope to return to this beautiful hotel in the not too distant future. Thank you Brook Lane 💓

from the moment I entered it had a warm homely feeling and the fragrant smell was just amazing. I was there for quest so they kindly let us store are bikes. the staff where so warm, helpful and friendly. The whole place was spotless clean. The bedrooms are beautiful. Caseys Restaurant the food was delicious and tasty. The warms stoves throughout the hotel with beautiful seating is such a cosy touch.

Breakfast was hot, choices were given plus a cold buffet. Rooms very clean, good space, beds very comfy. A short walk to central Kenmare through a delightful path across the street. Restaurant, bar on premise. Staff attentive and very friendly. We came back a second time on our 3 weeks in Ireland. Would return and recommend to all.

Pretty much everything ... All staff were great - friendly and helpful, professional and polite. Lovely comfy, clean bed and soundproofed room - didn't hear a peep from beyond the door! Excellent breakfast. Forgot to ask where the yogurt was from. Yum! Try it! The 5-minute walk from 'downtown' Kenmare back to the hotel via the (well-lit and safe) shortcut pathway .. especially after overindulging each night at one of Kenmare's really, really good restaurants. Short stay, so didn't have time to try the hotel restaurant, but chatty locals told us it's a regular eatery for them. And locals know the score! Especially 'dem Kerry ones ;)

Great location (there is a pathway that makes it easy to walk to town). Plus you are right on the entrance to part of the Ring of Kerry. Very nicely appointed hotel and the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. It is locally owned so Una, the proprietor takes great care to provide you with what you need, including advice about sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious - I had eggs and smoked salmon made to order (other menu items available) and in addition there is a generous buffet with fruit, yogurt, breads, etc available. Coffee and tea is delivered to your room at no extra charge (LOVED THIS!). Plus the restaurant is nice for dinner - good food and service. I would highly recommend this hotel.

A good sized bedroom with a very comfortable bed & pillows & fresh white linen. Towels & toiletries included. A beautiful new bathroom with an excellent shower. There is also an added bonus of a laundry room on the same landing which has 3 washing machine & 3 tumble dryers. Detergents there to use. Iron & ironing board in apartment. Donal, our host is a lovely man, very friendly & helpful & insisted on helping my husband upstairs with the luggage. The apartments are a credit to Donal & his family they have thought of everything. Seriously you would not wish to stay in a hotel when you have Haven Suites as an option, it was superb. We would certainly stay here again & will recommend to family & friends.

This property was exceptional. It was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We loved that we could cook our own meals and that a supermarket was less than a 10 minute walk away. There was free private parking on site too which a big bonus. The property is right behind a busy street with many cafes, restaurants, shops of all types and bars where you can listen bands and Irish music. Our apartment and surrounding property area felt very safe and very quiet considering the closeness of neighbouring areas. We would highly recommend staying at these apartments.

Apartment was spotless cosy & warm, spacious was in quiet area and very central to all bar's restaurant's shop's . Toiletries were provided , Car park was very secure with plenty of space . We were met on arrival by Donal who was very helpful and such a gentleman and carried our suitcases up the stairs ,

The apartment is centrally located, only a few steps from one of the main roads with loads of restaurants, pubs and shops. The apartment itself was more than what we expected — the bedroom was big, with storage room and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious and the shower amazing. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, living-dining room and a terrace with an outdoor table. We had tea, coffee and biscuits. There are also washing and drying machines with soap for communal use - which was really handy after a week of travel. We will definitely come back next time we’re in Killarney.

We loved everything about the property . From the time we got there and met Donal who was very friendly and helpful and even gave us directions when we rang him to let him know we were in town . There was free private parking which was great . The apartment itself was very spacious . It had everything you need for a very enjoyable stay ,including a lovey welcome box of tea bags , coffee , milk and even some biscuits which was a nice touch . The bedroom was a fine size with a very comfy bed . All in all we couldn’t fault it , it went above and beyond our expectations. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend it to family and friends .

We had an excellent stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Cork. The room was very clean and well appointed, with a kitchenette and upgraded amenities, like a Keurig, tea kettle, oven/microwave and a great selection of teas and coffee. It is situated right across from the Cork City center. The hotel has a sister hotel, the Moxy which had a great bar and restaurant for nights we didn't care to walk to one of the local restaurants or pubs. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, offering information for local sightseeing and tips for navigating the city. Overall we would definitely recommend this Redidence Inn to anyone staying in Cork City.

This is a lovely comfortable hotel. It is within walking distance of the Bunratty attractions - i.e Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, Durty Nellys famous pub and restaurant, and small shopping area / restaurants, coffee shops/ Aran sweater shop etc. The hotel itself is extremely comfortable, has a lovely residents lounge, and of course a bar. Breakfast was perfect, great choice and very reasonable. All the staff were extremely friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay here again.

The Hotel has some old world charm; a stone structure with classic Irish interiors. The room and bathroom were clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable. We only stayed one night as we used the hotel as a "rest stop" having just arrived at nearby Shannon Airport on an international flight late in the late afternoon and had no interest in a long drive to our ultimate destination in Ireland. It was mid April and the typical temperatures were quite cool in the evening. The room was cold upon arrival and the water-radiator didn't seem up to the task of warming the room. They provided an electric heater which resolved the issue very well. (I do not recall if the hotel boiler was being used.) The bar and dinning room were well appointed and cozy. Particularly the bar area. We arrived on a Wednesday and noted that the dinning room was very busy and that many of the dinners appeared to be locals. We were very satisfied with our meals (dinner and breakfast) which were not part of our booking. All of the staff were friendly, smiling and social. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Bunratty Castle and other nearby dinning and drinking establishments.

The hotel was lovely. Welcoming lobby manned by a very friendly lady that was only too happy to tell us how far we were from the castle/pubs and general rundown on Bunratty The bedroom was lovely, spacious and the en suite was a good size with a nice shower There is a large resident's lounge with armchairs and small tables where one can relax in small groups or larger groups if you so wish There is also the bar where you can have a few drinks or a night cap and of course a large dining room The diningroom does not open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, except for breakfast, in November so we dined 3 minutes walk away where we had a good choice of where we wanted to dine Comfort wise you couldn't ask for better. It is not a modern "precast" hotel but neither is it made out to be. It would take away from it if it was This is a beautiful hotel with all modern facilities blended with a lavish amount of friendliness, going the extra mile to help & be of assistance to you and "part of the family" atmosphere I can not recommend it enough and cannot wait to return again

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is perfect for visiting the Bunratty castle and walking distance to it as well as restaurants and shopping. They also have an amazing restaurant and pub in the hotel itself. We actually stayed twice because it was such a perfect stay. Once in the beginning and once at the end of our trip. It’s only a 10 minutes drive to the Shannon airport. The staff were all welcoming and accommodating.

The hotel is so cosy and comfortable once you walk in the door ,lovely welcome from Joan and helpful. Very nice area if you want to sit down and read a book, Bar staff very friendly, The room was spotless, The breakfast was delicious. I throughly enjoyed my stay for 2 nights at The Bedford Townhouse. Prior to my arrival, I was contacted by Sharron just to confirm arrival times, etc... then had the pleasure of meeting her personally when checking in... and she was amazing!! Nothing was too much trouble. Sharron ensured that everything was perfect upon my arrival, and during my stay. The room was extremely comfortable, luxurious, and spotlessly clean. I had a view of the 'pedestrian mall' below my window, and it was charming. There was also a lounge on the lower level ( specifically for guests of the hotel with great amenities...as well as a gym and a steam room ). Hotel entry requires 'coded card' use, as well as all of the other guest areas within the hotel, which makes you feel secure and safe. The hotel itself was a quick walk from the train station... and it is located in a wonderful 'pedestrian' area in Limerick. There were wonderful cafes, restaurants, pubs, and shops just steps from the front door of the hotel. The cafe/restaurant connected to the hotel provided an extensive breakfast menu which was definitely worth the added price when booking. The hotel was also very close to the waterfront, and many of the major 'tourist attractions' in Limerick. It was the perfect place to stay while in Limerick... and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to experience Limerick.

The Bedford Townhouse is in a great spot, really close to the Three Bridges Walk and sights like King John’s Castle. When we arrived, we weren’t quite sure where to start, but Laura at reception was super friendly and gave us some awesome tips on places to check out. Thanks to her local knowledge, we found a couple of great bars and had a really fun time. Big shoutout to Laura! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the waterfall shower was a nice touch. The breakfast included was tasty, and the restaurant staff were really welcoming. They even gave us a free coffee when we checked out, which was a nice touch for the trip back to Dublin. All in all, a really great stay. Míle buíochas!

I recently stayed at this accommodation and had a fantastic experience. First and foremost, Sharon at reception was exceptional—by far the most accommodating, polite, friendly, and helpful staff member I've encountered in any hotel. The breakfast was excellent, and as a Coeliac, I was particularly impressed by how the breakfast staff went out of their way to accommodate my dietary needs. The room itself was spotless, cozy, and welcoming, offering a perfect retreat after a day out. The location couldn't be better—right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient for exploring. Highly recommend! Will definitely stay here again

Stayed for 2 nights at the end of August '24. Advised before hand how to get to the hotel and where to park which was really helpful. Parked in the nearby Q Park (Dunnes) where we were given a discount code to use when paying for the parking. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious with excellent facilities. Considering the hotel lies on a main street, we found the room surprisingly quiet. Breakfast downstairs in the restaurant was brilliant, and the staff made us feel very welcome (recognising us from check-in the previous day) and nothing was too much effort for them. On departure at 4am, the front desk arranged a take-away breakfast for us that was dropped off the night before; made for a great ferry breakfast later that morning! Definitely would stay again when visiting Limerick :)

Sharon at reception was so helpful in arranging some birthday surprises for the room, and couldn't have been more welcoming on arrival, reserving a table for breakfast for us and explaining the carpark voucher/discount (the carpark is not on site, but directly across the road) Extremely clean and cosy room and facilities. Breakfast was delicious. We were so well looked after by Denise (I think) and our waiter. I can not stress enough how impressed I was with every staff member, very engaging, very chatty, very helpful. It's the little things that matter in hospitality and they have this down to a tee...

A beautiful cosy B&B right in the centre of Dingle. The location was fantastic and you could walk into the town in just a few minutes. The house was beautiful, cosy and clean. The family were extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was perfect and comfortable. We had enjoyed the delicious breakfast also!

Baambury's Guest House has 12 rooms, is is more like a large bed-and-breakfast than a hotel. The operators are exceptionally personable and friendly, and our stay was delightful. There was a comfortable sitting room with an electric fireplace, and a large dining room where an included Full Irish Breakfast was provided with full service and cooked to order. Our room had a comfortable bed and was of adequate size. The bathroom was small, but had a good shower. Bambury's is within easy walking distance of the town center and waterfront, and had convenient and free car parking for its guests {lodgings within the town center had quite limited parking, if any, on narrow streets}. We were distant enough from the active and noisy nightlife of the town. We were fortunate that our reservation fell within a large food festival that drew many hundreds of people, and which we enjoyed. The scenery on the Dingle Peninsula is stunning, and Dingle town is beautiful as well.

Location was unbeatable! Just a short walk on a sidewalk to town with all the restaurants and pubs you’d want. The room was very clean and comfortable with a great view of cows in the pasture and the sea beyond. Breakfast was served by the most attentive women in a bright dining room. Bernie, the hostess, makes scones that my husband loved. They were delicious! Just a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!

Beautiful bedroom with amazing coffee/ tea facilities. Beds were super comfortable and rooms were spacious. Ideal location, only a few minutes walk in to the heart of Dingle. The shower was lovely and we never ate the likes of the gorgeous breakfast! The staff were incredibly nice and friendly and we will definitely come back again. A trip to remember.

The view over the water from the bedroom window to Valentia Lighthouse was fabulous, and waking up to the view in the morning with the blind open was a dream. The room had a dressing table where the tea and coffee making were, 2 bedside lockers and a wardrobe. More than adequate space for our 5 night stay. Alan welcomed us and escorted us to our room before bringing us tea, coffee, and a couple of biscuit bars each. We had plenty of wonderful breakfasts, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast, and cooked full Irish breakfast if you wanted, along with tea or coffee. This is a dog friendly bed and breakfast, which to us was important as we wanted our little dog to come on holiday with us. What Alan has here is a very relaxing and friendly atmospheric bed and breakfast. A hotel would not have the view over the lighthouse or the personal attention and hospitality he gives all of his guests. Thankyou Alan for our stay in Horizon View, and the advice of places to explore on the island and locality. It's a holiday, Esther and I will treasure.

Room was spacious and clean, had several outlets( which we found NOT be a case in many B&Bs). Views from the balcony were amazing overlooking the ocean. Large common room and balcony for everyone to use. We were greeted with coffee/ tea. Host was friendly and helpful( set us up with dinner reservation at the local restaurant). Plenty of parking space. Also , super friendly dog and cat on site:)

View from our room was one looking out to sea with islands and headlands of Ireland on either side.. So beautiful to see the waves of the sea change daily depending on the wind and sunshine and the colours of the landscape. We couldn't but admire the view each time we looked out of the windows. Gorgeous views again from the breakfast room com t.v room where there are two lovely comfy settees also. There is a balcony with seating outside this room and Alan provides throws and cusions for chilly evenings to look at the stars overhead as this area is a DARK SPOT for star gazing... Breakfast was full Irish and lovely brown bread/toast, coffee/tea/juice, fruit. Our host Alan was very friendly, and full of information on the local area. There is a cat and collie dog on the premises which are very friendly too and do not bother anybody. The house is very near a local hotel where we ate our evening meal, but I much prefered to stay at the Horizon b and b as it had much nicer views.

Our favourite thing about the property was Alan! He was so welcoming, helpful and kind. He made an incredible breakfast for us all, and was really friendly. The property had an amazing view overlooking the lighthouse in the distance. The balcony was large enough for guests to sit outside and sit comfortably apart (or together!). The room was basic as expected but completely clean, well-stocked with coffee and tea and the bathroom even had sanitary products which were a lifesaver, plus plenty of shower gel and shampoo.

Fantastic location,exceptional views and a homely comfortable place to stay. Alan, the host was also exceptional. A really great person who focussed on making sure his guests enjoyed their stay.Coffee tea and conversation on arrival, rooms with beautiful sea view and hot power showers, a real treat after a day on a motorcycle. Alan booked us a table in the local hotel which we never thought of was really appreciated as it was extremely busy when we got there.There was a great selection for breakfast, we went with the full Irish which was brilliant. My sons and I travelled by motorcycle and there was lots of safe parking so anyone touring on bikes in the area… this is the place to stay. The room was really quiet with black out blind and curtains. I would really recommend a stay with Alan and hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

We had a lovely view of Kinsale harbor from our oversized windows. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. They work hard to take care of their guests every need and we appreciated all their attention to detail.

Amazing location. The service was next level. The staff were so attentive and helpful whether it was booking dinner reservations or suggestions of things to see/do or which bus to take to get to our next destination. It was by far the nicest, most luxury place we stayed in Ireland and it was such a treat! From the beautifully appointed guest rooms to the gorgeous sitting rooms and the lovely bar area where we had such a nice cuppa with some cake after a long day of walking and exploring. It is all done so beautifully. The breakfast was absolutely incredible. It had the nicest options and were the best breakfasts we ate in Ireland by a mile. Not sure what their parking is like if you have a car as we came on the bus but it's essentially across the street from the bus stop and very close to the adorable downtown and a nice walk to the Fort.

The Perryville provides nice accommodations in an old beautiful building. The location is very walkable and in the heart of Kinsale overlooking the water. The breakfasts were amazing but it does take a bit longer as a sit down restaurant with service. The food is all fresh, local, and impeccably prepared. The scones and fresh fruit plates are amazing. The bathroom and shower were quite nice here. There are some stairs to navigate to some of the different rooms, even with the elevator, due to the older nature of the building. The only negative is that there are only a handful of parking spaces in front so you are quite lucky if you secure one. The Perryville was an upscale and pretty fancy hotel.

Perryville House is an exceptional place to stay in the delightful town of Kinsale...Our room was beautiful, spacious and very well appointed. We were comfortable, and felt very relaxed. The staff was very attentive, respectful and helpful. Anna was excellent. Breakfast was wonderful, and afternoon tea...yes, please!! We were always greeted upon our arrival, and if a request was made it was always dealt with promptly. We felt safe as well - the security measures are subtle but effective. Only one issue was a problem - other guests returned from their evening out and were loud and inconsiderate, crashing into walls and shouting at 1:45 am. Other than that, our stay was great!

Furniture looked recent and modern. Hotel surroundings are amazing: mountain view, beautiful sunsets and sunrises, and a field of cows right next to it. So relaxing! Amazing customer service! Breakfast is delicious with a choice of Irish breakfast, pancakes or cereals. Owners noticed that we like our coffee strong and they served us strong coffee every morning without us asking (Amazing customer service!). They put little toys on the table every morning for our 2-year-old son, so that he can play, and we can eat breakfast comfortably. (Amazing customer service!). They showed us the map of the area and gave us amazing advice about things to do and how to avoid having too many people on the road while visiting (Amazing customer service!).

Beautiful home w espectacular views. Welcoming and friendly hosts. They checked on us and made sure we were comfortable. We had a room facing the East, so we were able to see the sunrise. It was very helpful that we were able to use a shared kitchenette w a refrigerator, sink, and table. We were able to refill our water bottles daily, which was helpful. We enjoyed delicious breakfast each morning, and they were so attentive and warm. A sweet bonus for us is their sweet pets, Luie, Bean, and Frank, which added to our experience since we are animal lovers.Their home is close to many points of interest. We definitely recommend this b&b to everyone.

The breakfast was delicious and wonderful, professional service and met my dietary needs. The room was perfect, with a beautiful view of Gap of Dunloe and a private entrance through a sliding glass door/patio. Her puppy was so incredibly cute. Would definitely stay there again. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet, with ample parking, even though I believe the B&B was full. The location was truly perfect just off the Ring of Kerry and close to eating establishments if you have a car or don't mind a bit of a walk.

Jen, Fergal and the ladies who helped with breakfast were so incredibly friendly, warm and helpful - the perfect hosts. The house is just gorgeous, with beautiful views and gardens. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The location was perfect for us to tour the Ring of Kerry and the Gap of Dunloe and shop at Killarney. It was the perfect stay and we were sad to leave. Thank you Jen and Fergal for your hospitality- we loved every minute of our stay!

The 'Rockville' is perfectly located central to the main areas of Cashel, and with a breath taking view of 'The Rock of Cashel' outside, and inside from the guest breakfast room. Our host, Patrick, he was the human whirlwind. nothing was too much trouble for him, he had some great advice on the area, and best of all was his amazing sense of humour and ability to get us all smiling, if not killing ourselves with laughter.

We visited the Rock of Cashel which is visible from Rockville House. When we arrived we were greeted by the friendly Inn keepers. Our room was clean and comfortable with plenty of tea and coffee, comfortable beds, and tv. The parking is safe and behind a gate. The breakfast is very good and served hot. Quiet place, you can see the Rock of Cashel from the front door of the B&B.

Our large and comfortable room had a view of The Rock which was amazing. The breakfast room, as well as the breakfast provided, was very well done. Our Host Patrick made our stay very enjoyable. He was very welcoming and helpful. The location of the Guesthouse allows you to walk into this historic town. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

The location is great - one of the first places to stay you arrive at on crossing the bridge into the town. The welcome was warm and very easy to check in. My room was on the first floor and was a twin bed room. The room was spacious, bathroom also spacious with good facilities. There is hanging space as well as shelves and tea and coffee making facilities. The room was warm and there was an extra heater if you required it. I had dinner with my cousin that night and the menu choices caused an issue trying decide which delicious dish to have. I had chowder to start and mussels for main. Both were delicious, hot and portions were plentiful. Next day I did not have breakfast with the residents but met another cousin and his wife for brunch. We all had the mini Irish breakfast and it was delicious and again the portions were good and the food was hot. Staff throughout the venue are attentive, helpful and very friendly. They are well staffed which means that there is no waiting for customers or trying to attract someones attention. Overall my stay was very pleasant. Accommodation is not over priced. Room was comfortable and clean with good facilities. Restaurant service and food was excellent. I would have no hesitation recommending The Bianconi to others.

An excellent hotel with terrific on-site restaurant. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Rooms were a good size, clean & tidy, with a good shower..! Bed was super comfy too. Perfect location with plentiful parking. The breakfast was amazing..!! Loads to chose from, but can highly recommend the cooked breakfast. We had an evening meal in the attached restaurant (we had to book as is was VERY busy); it was quite outstanding..! All in all, a very good place to stay that we would definately stay at again.....

The room was exceptional, the furnishings were modern and suited the price of the room nicely. The bathroom in particular was spacious and very clean. The beds were also extremely comfortable, and not too hot. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, the pastry, fruit, and cereal options were extension and very tasty. I also had scrambled eggs with bacon, and the eggs were honestly the nicest that I've eaten in a long time! The staff throughout were helpful and friendly, exactly what you need.

Can't recommend this beautiful place enough! From the time we walked in till we left, everything was perfect. The ambience was calm, service professional but especially friendly, augmented by beautiful modern tasteful decor. Room spotless and very comfy with attention to detail. Highly recommend the restaurant; thoroughly enjoyed our fish dishes, service very attentive and unrushed, our table being reserved for as long as we wished. The breakfast menu was varied and more than enough and in a beautiful dining room. Will definitely return here and with family next time in the area. Go raibh míle maith agaibh!

What a fabulous hotel with exceptional service. Huge credit to all the staff who were so welcoming, couldn’t do more to help and always smiling. The hotel itself is stunning, from the entrance with candles & fresh flowers, the gorgeous spa, it all felt very luxe. We were offered a welcome drink whilst checking in, bags taken to our room, shown to the spa as we booked a time slot (access is free to all guests you just have to pre book a time slot) the spa was gorgeous, very quiet so even more special, inside and outside jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and lovely pool with bubble beds. The bar/lounge was so cosy with a fire and comfy sofas. We ate at the onsite pub which was lovely. I would try the onsite fine dining if coming back. Breakfast was a real treat, lovely service, great selection of buffet and cooked options (all included) the room itself was great, a nice hotel room, just didn’t have the wow factor that the rest of the hotel did. We will absolutely be returning when visiting Ireland again. Great value for money as well. The location was ideal to explore Killarney, close to the waterfalls and stunning landscapes. Our stay was amazing!! It was my partner and Is anniversary and they went above and beyond. The pool facilities were so luxurious. We loved the jacuzzi , sauna , steam room etc. The hotel was so accommodating and gave us a superior room (Thank you to the Lovely Emma at the desk) We had yummy food in the bar /restaurant where Patrick served us with a smile. The breakfast was very tasty in the morning and great service. The hotel was so close to muckross park and muckross Abbey where we went for a lovely walk and a coffee. We also did a little pony treck around facilitated by this lovely man named Dan who was down the road. The hotel staff were so so nice and happy to answer any questions. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice for vegetarians and vegans. What really made it special however, was the friendly and helpful staff who were always alert to any requirements. The Yew Tree restaurant, where breakfast is served, is absolutely beautiful and topped off the experience perfectly. We booked an hour in the vitality pool that included use of the sauna, steam room, two jacuzzis, an outdoor hot tub (dIvine!) and heated loungers. At 11am we had the place to ourselves for the last 40 mins. Extremely relaxing and for no extra cost! The bathroom was very good with double his and her sinks and an enormous bath. The seperate shower was perfect; easy to use, instant hot water and very good water pressure. The Ritual complimentary shower gel, conditioner and shampoo added to the sense of luxury. The twin room we booked was of a very adequate size although we could have done with a few more hangers in the wardrobe. The room was easy to heat or cool with very simple wall controls and the beds themselves were extremely comfortable. Finally, and notwithstanding the lovely surroundings and general air of opulance and serenity, the greatest tribute I can pay this hotel is its staff. Incredibly professional, yet friendly, helpful and always there with a sincere smile and a cheery hello. Outstanding stuff from porter to waiter to housemaid to receptionist.

Cannaway B&B is a beautiful, plantation-style home set on a large and well-kept property — a peaceful and picturesque place to relax. The room we stayed in was comfortable, nicely furnished and offered a lovely view of the surrounding area. Our hostess was very kind and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Breakfast the next morning was cooked to order — it was delicious and a perfect start to the day. The only suggestion I would offer is to improve the signage leading to the property, as it was a bit tricky to find at first. That said, once you arrive, it’s well worth it. Overall, a very enjoyable stay in a quiet and charming setting. Highly recommended!

We had a private separate bath which was nice (shower was tricky but we managed to figure it out). Lovely and unexpected luxurious spot in the country. Breakfast was very good & elegant. The place was immaculately clean, our room was en suite and the beds were very comfortable with fresh pressed linens and deep comfortable cushions. The en suite was clean and the shower powerful and piping hot. There was good WiFi and a fridge outside our room where you could place a few items. Breakfast was delicious with freshly baked brown scones, homemade bircher muesli, fresh home made kombucha and I opted for scrambled eggs which were delicious. Bridget is a warm, super friendly, genuine hostess with great local knowledge, it was a pleasure to deal with her.

Loved everything about this B&B. Located a few miles from Killarney town it's the perfect escape for some peace and quiet in the countryside but also near enough to hop in a taxi into town. The room was so clean and so comfortable - I had the soundest sleep! Brigid is a fantastic host and I was delighted to learn that she provides evening meals (and drinks). I had the most delicious cesar salad ever tasted! Breakfast was another treat. Brigid makes her own Kombucha and homemade scones as well as a delicious fruit buffet and hot food options. It was a real home away from home and I will recommend it to all my friends!

The signs to get to the location were amazing, made getting there very simple! The host was super friendly and treated us like family. We chose to have the evening meal and it was so incredibly delicious and in a quaint dining room. We only stayed one night but our room was sufficient with everything we needed. The bed was also super comfortable. The breakfast was also delicious and wonderfully prepared and presented along with a buffet of homemade muesli, homemade kombucha, various cereals and a savoury plate with meat and cheese as well and homemade scones. It was our first bed and breakfast experience and it spoiled us! We will definitely be back!

Brigid is the ultimate host who goes above and beyond to not only make your stay a relaxing and enjoyable experience, but also to get to know each guest. From the very warm welcome, the offer of an evening meal (at quality restaurant standard and very reasonable cost), the extensive breakfast options, informative tips on attractions and travel ideas, to the very comfortable and clean room/bed, your stay is beyond expectations. We stayed at Kells Bay House and Gardens for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful, tranquil atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered a stunning view of the bay that made waking up a real pleasure. The gardens are absolutely beautiful—immaculately maintained and curated, perfect for relaxing walks, and the waterfall was a real highlight. The Thai restaurant on-site served delicious food, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. Overall, it was a wonderfully relaxing experience in a truly scenic location.

Kells Bay House is a hidden gem with a great setting at the end of a winding country road towards Kells Beach. Lovely gardens to explore,the sky rope being the highlight, private access to the beach and cute garden cafe. The house itself is quite small and intimate with lovely furnishings and old world decor. Not alot of relaxing seating area you would be lucky to get a seat after dinner if it was busy. However it does make for a more informal/intimate setting that could help with opening up conversation with other guests and an enjoyable evening which we experienced. There is no bar as such but you can order cocktails beers and wine. The staff were very obliging and pleasant. There are not too many rooms but the one we booked (the Garden Room) was great,very spacious and a massive bed! It was like a self contained unit as were some others( and some in main house) that you had to walk outside to get to main house .The food was delicious but may not be to everyone's taste as is a Thai menu no other options. Breakfast was more options including full Irish, Thai omelette and pancakes. Bread was freshly baked and choice of fruits Yougurts cereals and pastries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing house! I highly recommend staying in this gorgeous place. Not too big which makes it not overwhelming. Very quiet, clean and stylish. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff. See view there is something else. Access to the gardens and Kells Bay Beach. Perfect if you want to spend some time away and enjoy your peace and quiet.

The room was lovely, spacious, comfortable, good beds and bedding. The breakfast was great, buffet with good sourdough bread and croissants, yogurt, fruit, cereal, juice. Choice of hot breakfast from the menu served to your table. Tea and speciality coffees also included. The gardens are great and included in your stay. They are extensive, diverse, beautiful and just a pleasure to wander around, also easy to go down to Kells bay beach from the gardens. We had dinner at the restaurant, which was lovely, the staff are fab. This location is hidden and feels very remote but is only a few kilometers off the main Ring of Kerry road. We would definitely come back and recommend it to friends, especially magical for children.

We had a perfect stay! The house is gorgeous and situated next to a huge and lush garden with all sorts of tropical plants, where you can walk to the waterfall and even a ropebridge. On the front you can take a walk down to the beautifull beach. We were welcomed so nicely by the staff. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The Thai curry for dinner was delicious even as the breakfast the next morning. The girl from France that served in the restaurant and checked us out, was so nice and helpfull, thank you! We highly recommend this place.

There was a welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, sugar, biscuits, and kitchen and bathroom amenities. A lovely two-bedroom apartment with comfortable beds and two bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need: a kettle, toaster, teapot, French press, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, and, of course, plenty of dishes, cutlery, etc. There's also a small balcony with a fantastic view. At the rear of the complex, there's plenty of green space with picnic tables. Behind the whole complex there is a playground for children. I was also impressed that, in addition to a first-aid kit, there is also a fire extinguisher and a fire blanket in the kitchen. We highly recommend this complex and hope to stay here again on our next visit to Killarney. On Google Maps is also a video 😉

The apartments are a great size and has everything you need. The main bathroom was recently renovated. The playground is amazing (with 10 swings, which exceeded my kids expectations) and perfect for long summer evenings, my kids played and I enjoyed a glass of wine. The view from the playground is also amazing. Washer and dryer in the lobby was a bonus. The property is close to the center of kilarney, too far to walk with kids but adults could do it fine.

Really comfy, spacious flat. Loved the added extras - tea, coffee, biscuits, kitchen roll, hand wash, shower gel etc - which was much appreciated. Ideal location - easy walk into town; parking right in front of the apartment block. Very quiet and peaceful area. It was great to have 2 bathrooms; plenty of space in bedrooms and sitting area. Beds very comfortable.

Rookery Mews apartments were great. Clean, comfortable and only 10-15 mins walk to the town. They had tea/coffee, biscuits, sugar, milk, space toilet rolls, kitchen roll, tea towels, hand soap, washing up liquid, cooking oil, shower gel, fresh towels, all a very nice touch. There was a great playground at the apartments with lots of different activities for the children. I have to say we had a great weekend and next time would love to stay for the week. It was a home away from home. Already recommended to family and friends

Very Enjoyable Stay. Apartment was great and was like a home from home . It had everything we needed and was spotless clean. Liam was very helpful and friendly on arrival. Kids enjoyed the play park and overall we felt very comfortable staying here and will definitely recommend and hopefully stay again the next time.

It is very quiet place, everything was perfect, room very clean and cosy (was worry about it because nights can be very cold in February - unnecessarily- temperature in the room was perfect). Hot shower with a good water pressure and very comfy beds. I slept like baby. You can prepare any breakfast you wish thanks to clean and fully equipped kitchen with a beautiful view. You can even enjoy your meal on the fresh air thanks to outdoor picnic table. Only 2 km from a very nice pub with traditional music and delicious ale 🍺 . 5 min drive to Cliffs of Moher or Burren. Highly recommend, definitely will be back.

This is a great holiday home. Very comfortable and clean and friendly host's. I took my milk but everything for and decent breakfast wasn't there. Cereal fruits tea and coffee machine. Even hot chocolate for my daughter. Lovely terrace out back for a glass of wine. Peaceful and relaxing. For some action the village of doolin is a 35 minute walk. A lovely walk with plenty of cow's and gorgeous scenery

We loved this property! Our room was cozy, quiet, the bed comfortable, the shower had great pressure and the temperature adjusted easily . We enjoyed the common kitchen area where we visited with other guests. Breakfast was yummy, continental as described. I especially enjoyed the granola and additional options. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful! Harvest Moon B&B was a great find!

This was an all-around lovely place. The location was perfect, our rooms were very spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast supplies in the kitchen were a treat. We enjoyed eating breakfast and drinking tea at the table outside which overlooked a peaceful view and petting the owner’s dog and cats.

This is a great B&B. The host is really friendly and helpful, the room was small but very comfortable and beautifully finished. The bathroom was excellent with a huge powerful shower. As an addition you have use of a kitchen, so grab some soup, bread and cold cuts, and have a break from restaurant food. This B&B is remote, with wonderful views from the kitchen and patio. Almost total silence.... wonderful !

The staff were very friendly and provided good service. The dinner in the bar was very good and the bar also provided live entertainment. The spa facilities were good which included pool out door jacuzzi with lovely views as well as sauna and steam room. The hotel had amazing walks and scenery and we were also given a history talk of the resort which was very informative. Remotely based with exceptional views. We will definitely be back.

Such a great place with a friendly atmosphere, the staff were helpful, friendly, and professional. It was wonderful to be able to swim in the sea every day without leaving the hotel grounds. We had a superior room with a gardent view, spacious and quiet. Breakfast was superb. We ate in both the restaurant and the bar, the restaurant was exceptional.

We had a great 3 day stay in Parknasilla. The weather was kind to us so we could enjoy the fabulous view across the bay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast and we ate each evening in the Pygmalion restaurant and the food was delicious. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely sea view. We particularly enjoyed the spa facilities and the outdoor infinity hot pool was the highpoint of the stay for us! We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. Very nice hotel in lovely natural sourroundings. Spacious, comfortable, stylish bedroom with large modern bathroom. Good food and friendly service. Three dining options to choose from. I would have liked to have had a quite area to sit in to have a coffee or a drink, as the bar & lobby were very busy & quite noisy. Especially as there were a LOT of young families there over the New Year period and the bar felt that it was just an extension of a restaurant. Breakfast was good but my only gripe was that coffee was not served by the pot, we got a cup of coffee which was cold by the time we ready for it. Also it tasted like machine coffee...... A Cafetiere would be a nice option.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fota, it was so relaxing and the grounds are stunning. Breakfast was lovely and dinner at the Fota Restaurant was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will be back! Negatives: the burger in the Amber restaurant was very dry and the bun was hard. Food is pricey in the restaurants. There is an additional €25 per person charge to use the spa facilities, this is usually complimentary for hotel guests in other places we have stayed.

Food, breakfast was excellent. I was delighted to see a gluten-free breakfast option. The hot food was to order with cold options self-service. On leaving, we were offered coffee to go. We ate in the main restaurant. The food was delicious. You pay for quality. Staff excellent. We were celebrating 2 birthdays, and the hotel on arrival had a birthday plate in the room and again after dinner. The small touches. Kids loved the swimming pool, and the smell of the spa area was beautiful. Gym - functional and not overcrowded. Rooms - very comfortable bed. Very spacious bathroom. The coffee machine in the room was a welcome bonus.

The staff is extremely friendly and the food was amazing. We got dinner in the fota restaurant and had breakfast in the morning which consisted of a buffet and a la carte for hot breakfast options. The stay was extremely relaxing couldn’t recommend enough.

My daughter was dancing at the World Championships at Glen Eagles. Which is about 10-15 mins walk from Earl Court. It is so quiet and homely. We had an amazing room with a 4 poster bed and jacuzzi. It was the nicest room. We never heard a thing. And the staff were all so kind and helpful. They were so friendly all wished my daughter good luck, and then asked how she got on. And no matter what not anything was too much trouble. It was such a lovely experience. Oh and not to forget the lovely breakfast, which was freshly made and definitely hit the spot.

The rooms and over decor of the hotel is simply stunning. The cosy atmosphere and wonderful staff make it a joy to visit. A lovely snug residents bar makes a simple drink feel like a treat and the four poster bed and jacuzzi tub were just amazing. The proximity to town was brilliant, just a ten minute walk and free parking. The breakfast was delicious! Can't wait to go back.

We met one of the owners, Dolores, the day after our stay for breakfast, she was very welcoming and she prepared an amazing hot breakfast, together with the buffet one that was impressive! It was possible for us to go for self-check in (since we arrived quite late). Room was cosy and comfy, clean, with ensuite bathroom with all necessary facilities. WiFi was available and worked quite well. Location was stunning, a bit outside Limerick but in an azing countryside scenary.

This stay was a very warm welcome to Ireland. The hosts made me feel right at home and were always around to help out. They had everything you could dream of for breakfast and cooked a fresh plate just for you. The view was gorgeous and I got the sunrise every day. There are lots of places to hang out outside in the garden and a summer house to read/have tea. It’s perfect if you’re looking to connect to the natural beauty of the area! The room has everything you need like a fridge, fresh water daily, a coffee machine, tea pot, hair dryer, chargers, etc. My bed was made every day and the bathroom was kept stocked with fresh towels. Really super clean and cute decor. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the town which has historic pubs and shops, so if you don’t have a car keep that in mind! But the walk is lovely and you can pass by a local winery and see horses and sheep. Overall 10/10 stay and exceeded my expectations :)

Bunratty Castle Mews is a short cab ride from Shannon airport, on a beautiful country lane with hooded crows, ravens and blackbirds in the trees, lovely patios in front and in back, several cozy lounges, and an excellent breakfast. I was staying about 5 hours away from Shannon during my 2 weeks in Ireland and needed an affordable room near the airport to make my 12:30pm flight. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room quiet, the bed very comfortable. There are some bars and restaurants and shops within walking distance.

On meeting Daloris it was an upbeat stay. She was so full of life and extremely helpful. The accomadation was amazing with the added bonus of movie star pictures from James Cagney, Humphry Bogart through to Rita Hayworth, also news papers framed telling about the death of America's president JFK and the impact it had on people. We didn't want for anything. The room was small but comfortable and well stocked, hair dryer, TV, and tea/coffee facilities. The breakfast was out of this world, there was such an amazing assortment to choose from. Home made bread, pancakes, cereals, cooked breakfast, fruit, yoghurts, different cheeses and so much more. This was our last day in Ireland and this really topped it off. We couldn't have asked for a better leaving day experience. Thank you so much.

Our stay was great. Dolores is an incredible host. Very personable and helpful. Provided information about other places to visit and eat. The breakfast was outstanding. Never have stayed in a B & B that had the quality and choices for a breakfast. Gary was great in helping people as they came down for breakfast. The B & B is also in a great location which allows visitors to get to other sites fairly easily. The room was very comfortable. It was a little small but we had a king bed. But bed was comfortable and the room was peaceful in the evening. This is a great B & B and we would highly recommend it.

Warm and helpful staff. Room spacious and comfortable, tea coffee and delicious chocolate biscuits. Water stations near room and water jug with lid is a nice touch in terms of sustainability. Spa pool and hydro pool area spotlessly clean and a pleasure to experience. Both bar menu and restaurant menu were available in the dining area which provided a nice level of choice. Food was delicious and despite hotel being very busy (due to graduations), service was timely and efficient. The decor of the Kingsley is beautifully balanced, soothing colours and quiet luxury with wonderful use of photography (especially by hydro pool) that gives a nod to past times when the people of cork attended the iconic "Lee Baths".

Fantastic location especially if you're in your own car as the access to the main routes such as the ring of Kerry, is literally around the corner. Wayne the owner makes awesome pancakes and is great at giving tourist information, he's a very pleasant chap. Parking is good at this location and it's very clean. Breakfast was nice, coffee wasn't the greatest it was a bit bitter and was like rocket fuel but the food was very good. The room was large, clean and comfortable and the hallways had easy to access ironing boards/irons. Shower, a little on the weak side but good enough. Overall, excellent.

We had a wonderful stay, as always to The Armada Hotel. Upon arrival, Hayley had left a bottle of prosecco and card in our room welcoming us back. On our first night we dined in the restaurant, our server Ian was very professional. The host at breakfast was also very professional and attentive and welcomed us back again to the hotel. In the bar both the manager and our server provided excellent service and we're very attentive, the manager also remembered that we had visited the bar earlier in the day for lunch. During the night, there were some people walking around the hotel floor at around 1am. When I contacted reception John answered promptly, took note of the issue raised and it was resolved shortly after. The only feedback I have was how the food runner responded, when we asked him if our drinks were on the way. He simply replied that's the bars job and walked off. A more professional and helpful responds was expected Overall we enjoyed our stay and we look forward to returning again soon.

We popped in to the Spanish Armada on a recent 3 generation family (8 people) week end away to Clare for some breakfast. We were delighted we did ! The hotel was very busy as it was peek breakfast time but the staff were friendly and anxious to accommodate our party - we received a warm welcome and were quickly seated in the restaurant. The decor is fab - lovely beach vibes & super comfortable with a really lovely atmosphere - fab buffet element with gorgeous food such as fresh smoothies, fresh fruit & banana bread aswell as a fabulous hot food buffet - there is also a menu for straight from the chef (poached eggs, omelette etc). We received fantastic service, thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast here and would highly recommend to others. We will definitely be back to this hotel on our next break to Clare.

There were 6 of us and used superior double,ocean view suite and seascape suite. The superior double (121) was excellent on spaciousness and decor and view. The ocean view suite was spacious and the view was good. The Seascape Suite (122) was amazing with the copper bath, couch and electric fireplace and the view was expansive. The other seascape suite (149) was different without the couch and the fireplace but was nice with the copper bath and great view. The food was great—breakfast and dinner. The creme brûlée was divine. The staff were helpful and went out of their way to make sure that our needs were met.

The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and welcoming, from the reception staff to the restaurant/ bar staff. We had dinner in the restaurant which was amazing and the breakfast was superb too. The rooms were very clean and spacious.

We stayed at the Armada Hotel in Clare in October, 2025 as part of our Vagabond 12 Day Giant Irish Tour trip to Ireland, and it was absolutely wonderful! The location right by the water is unbeatable — waking up to stunning ocean views was a real highlight of the trip. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. We especially loved the combination of charm and modern convenience — the hotel has a cozy, inviting atmosphere, but also all the amenities you could want. It was the perfect base for exploring Clare’s beautiful coastline and nearby attractions. Bru Na Pairc is one of the very best B&Bs I have stayed at. The rooms are airy, clean and highly comfortable.The area is quiet. Peggie the owner, is wonderful and super helpful. Breakfast was amazing with a full selection on offer. Can't be faulted. Oh and for the travel weary there is a jacuzzi bath, which I highly recommend.

The owner is very friendly and welcoming and goes out of her way to look after her guests - she even offered to pick me up after I arrived on a very dark and rainy evening on a bus from Cork city to Bantry (it seems Peggy is an incredibly busy woman, but has boundless energy and is an example to us all!); the breakfast is fantastic - great choice all round and a cooked breakfast is offered on weekends (menu included); the room and bathroom were comfortable - I particularly liked the jacuzzi; ample teas and coffee etc provided in the room and this adds to the homely atmosphere; a spacious and comfortable front room was made available to guests...

The room was beautiful and very spacious. The bathroom was very modern and clean with a big shower. We loved the way the breakfast is done in the room, with fresh pastries on the door each morning and the fridge filled with a variety of delicious breakfast items. Outside of the room the hotel is also beautiful and the parking in the back, which has a closed gate, is very convenient too. We highly recommend the restaurant in the hotel as well. Overall we loved our stay and hope to come back again!

the room was lovely, the decor in this whole hotel was fantastic- modern, stylish, bright colors, and comfortable. A very comfortable bed, a great claw-foot bathtub, lots of space, hooks for hanging, storage for luggage and ironing board, great shower and products. I love the continental breakfast in our room, the fridge was stocked with fancy yogurt, brie smoked salmon, fruit salad, more fruit in a bowl, and fresh pastries delivered on our door the night before.the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They also have private parking, and you can just pop downstairs and through the lovely courtyard for a great pub and restaurant experience, o out side entrances with a keycode to the street, so all the convenience of being in a town center but none of the noise:)

A spacious room with comfy beds and a great shower. Plus there's a restaurant! But the best part is that breakfast is already in the room, and it's a good breakfast. Well, everything for breakfast is there except for some pastries... which the pastry fairy comes along and hangs outside your door sometime in the night. So you can have your breakfast whenever you want it, in the privacy of your own room. Nice!

Fabulous team...helpful & friendly Room was spacious & beautifully decorated The bed was sooo comfortable. The in room continental + breakfast was superb! Parking was an added bonus. All in all a lovely stay... Oh & dinner was delicious!The servers were charming & professional.

Room was amazing so peaceful and comfortable, breakfast was lovely, very tasty. The dinner can only be descripted as amazing, staff were so friendly and seemed like they really cared if you enjoyed you meal or not.
