Nice hotel for a few nights in Naples. Took advantage of the airport pickup and return for 45 Euros each way and the drivers were great. Location was good for walking to waterfront restaurants, other nearby restaurants, and the touristy shopping district. Umberto's is a few steps away and had a great meal there without a reservation. The room was big and quiet. Able to put a few bottles of water in the mini-fridge. The bathroom was also roomy, including a big tub/shower. Breakfast had a lot of items, including scrambled eggs, pastries, breads, and juices. Friendly attendants brought your desired coffee, e.g., a pot of American, espresso, or cappuccino. After a long, hot day touring, it was nice to stop at the bar off the lobby for a couple of Peroni's and snacks. Overall, a well-run hotel, in a good location. Highly recommend.

Love love loved this hotel! Spotless and in a great area of Naples. Totally walkable, amazing restaurants right nearby. The breakfast buffet is delicious and offers multiple selections....sets you up right for the day!! Staff super friendly and helpful.

The location was superb. Name brand shops and good restaurants were in walking distance. Theater San Carlo was also in walking distance. The area felt very safe to walk around. A supermarket was just a few steps away. We loved dining experience at Umberto restaurant, just a few steps away. Taxi ride to molo Beverello, where you take express boat to Capri was about ten minutes away with taxi call, costing 12 Euros. Our flight into Naples was ten at night. It was only 20 min ride to the hotel. The room service was superb and our room was maintained very clean. The hotel was very quiet for a good sleep. Breakfast had both hot and cold item as well as fruits. Coffee was served to the table. Bed was very comfortably hard and linens felt fresh. Staff spoke very fluent English and were very willing to help when needed.

We just stayed 2 nights in Naples and were thrilled with our choice. The hotel has everything you would need and its decor is classic. The beds were large and firm, bathrooms were large ( we finally had counter space during our visit to Italy), and the rooms overall were updated. We had issues with our ac because we tend to sleep in really cold conditions, however we were able to sleep comfortably. Also the room walls seemed thick because it was very quiet during our stay. We had done our research and this location was highly recommended and with good reason. The hotel is blocks from the water where people stroll down the boardwalk. There are so many restaurants, bars and high end shops, it gives a different feel than the other areas in the city. Very safe to walk around during the day and night, the restaurants we ate at in the area were delicious (especially Humberto’s) with great customer service. Also want to mention that the hotel staff, from the front desk to those cleaning the rooms were very helpful and accommodating. We appreciated the complimentary breakfast to start our day. They had a good variety of food. Highly recommend staying here if coming to Naples.

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. It's located in a very upmarket part of Naples (there's a Patek Philippe store at the end of the street, for instance) and is in the courtyard of a block of buildings, so there's not much external noise - I don't think that the hotel has any street frontage. There are a huge number of restaurants nearby, though it's about a 15 minute walk to the nearest metro stations. The staff were friendly and helpful and I was upgraded free of charge as part meeting a request for a quiet room. My room was large and comfortable. I'd deduct half a star for a couple of issues. Firstly, my room was quite warm and the air conditioning appears to have been turned off for winter. I was able to get the room to a comfortable temperature by leaving the window open, but this isn't ideal. Secondly, the wifi was a bit temperamental.

I Booked this Holiday as a suprise for my wifes 40th.I didnt know what to expect when i arrived in Ischia as it was my first time,I dont like big Hotels so The Hotel Grifo seemed ideal. Well Ideal isnt the word,Perfect i would use.The Hotel is amazing the location looking out over Ischia Bay amazing,the staff very friendly and accomadating,the restuarant and food amazing,the room had its own hydro sauna shower outside on the patio,Theres also a Big Sauna room and spa in the hotel grounds also a wonderful pool with jacuzzi. Our stay was for six days and we were treated very well indeed we had an amazing time and are looking to return sooner rather than later,I dont mean to be rude but it was a breath of fresh air to not have lager louts of any nationality around us but relaxed and like minded people,and dont be put off by the chicness,the hotel Grifo was very reasonable indeed and dont be ignorant a little Italian goes a long way. So if you like to immerse yourself in culture relax and sample the local food which is fish caught daily and fresh then this is definately the place for you. You Will Not Be Dissapointed Mr A is The Man If you like your clothes and the latest fashion then hit Ischia town in the evening you'll be amazed. Once again absolutely wonderful time Grazie Tanto

Fantastic in every way. We spent 5 days in this beautiful family run boutique hotel. Set in a lovely quiet area which was exactly what we were looking for. The hotel provides ample daily free shuttles to the town centre. The shuttle driver- Antonio was a delight he was professional,friendly and on time every time. The whole hotel was immaculately clean, we were actually proud to stay in such a well looked after hotel.The chef Pasquale is a credit to them. The meals were varied, fresh and beautifully presented most importantly they were delicious. Now going to the hotels best asset..Enzo. their Maitre‘d.what an amazing guy. He made us feel welcome, loved and very well looked after. More importantly we could tell he was authentic. He literally was the highlight of our holiday. Federico the barman was also so nice, so professional and so welcoming.Francesco was singing one evening and he literally is so talented it was so good and he had the voice of an angel. The front desk team were very welcoming, speedily checked us in and we’re again so professional. Our room had a stunning view of Napoli bay/sea, was spotlessly clean , comfy bed and had modern furnishings.much loved hotel. Hotels gardens were very well looked after offering plants/flowers and privacy. Lastly we had a wonderful massage and used the wonderful spa facility. Which was beautiful with Turkish bath/sauna/huge whirlpool/therma pool and much more. I would highly recommend this hotel I will return in a heartbeat

An amazing stay, not even sure where to start: - the staff is perfect, at the reception, the bar, the restaurant, the best service you can expect, especially to the amazing Michele. The lovely boss Alberto is a gem too. - The room, big, beautiful, comfortable bed, nicely cleaned every day, and a breathtaking view (we had the “lateral sea view”, which was more frontal than lateral) - The beautiful pool, quiet, no need to rush and put your towel on the sunbed at 7am, there is plenty of room for everyone as this is an intimate family hotel - The breakfast, where you will find amazing food but also friendly; personalized and lovely service - The dinner, we went only once but there was plenty of good food (4 course!!) - The “extra mile service” they offer you: you need a car or a scooter? They organize. You want a nice massage? They take care of it. You need advice, ideas, plans? They will be there. - The spa: beautiful, relaxing, everything is made so that you feel well, massages were amazing. Long story short, if you are looking for perfection, in an intimate family setting, with personalized service, staff that cares and attention to details; this is the place to go.

We have just enjoyed a wonderful stay on Ischia at the Grifo Hotel Charme and Spa. We were celebrating a birthday. The service and attention to detail was exceptional. All the staff really go the extra mile in making you feel welcome and they are so attentive to your needs and requests without being intrusive. Victoria on the front desk is amazing, booking restaurants and taxis for us and even arranged for a bottle of bubbly and a card for the birthday girl, she also alerted another restaurant that it was my sisters birthday and they brought out a cake and candle as a surprise! Antonio in the restaurant was very friendly and made fantastic wine recommendations. If you are considering staying here then do factor in eating at the restaurant for at least 1 night, it is very competitively priced (35 euros for a 4 course meal - buffet style antipasti, primi, secondi and dessert) and has a lovely small menu which changes daily. In the morning the buffet breakfast was fresh and delicious and it was wonderful to enjoy this by the pool. The photos on the website do not do justice to how lovely a setting the hotel is in. The facilities were first class and the spa was exactly what we wanted it to be, the staff in the spa were very knowledgeable and really helpful and recommended treatments which we all thoroughly enjoyed. We have come home relaxed and spoilt and cannot wait to go back. Well done and thank you Hotel Grifo, keep doing what you are doing, as you do it so well!

We had an amazing experience at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We received a lot of helpful information about Ischia from the lovely young lady at the reception, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The dinner at their restaurant was delicious, and Mr. Enzo was very charming and made us feel right at home. The location of the hotel is in a quiet and relaxing area, perfect for unwinding. They also offer a shuttle service, making it easy to explore different parts of the island. Our room was spacious and we had a large balcony with a beautiful sea view. I highly recommend this hotel, and if we ever return to Ischia, we will definitely consider staying here again!

It was fun. Cold/Hot Breakfast was good. Server was nice. The view was fantastic. Sauna/Jacuzzi was great. The down side is the room I stayed in. It didn’t have lotion, conditioner. Rainfall shower head was broken.

Panoramic views, absolutely beautiful. We upgraded to the junior suite with jacuzzi on the terrace. Absolutely fabulous. The beds were incredibly comfortable and having a morning shower whilst overlooking the bay and mountains was fantastic Vincenzo and Alessia on the desk where so helpful. Close to Baccoli as we were going scuba diving in Baiae.

Had a lovely relaxing stay here. The room was large, modern and had beautiful views from the balcony. We had a great meal at the restaurant- again with spectacular views! Good parking outside. My only criticism was the bathroom seemed very outdated compared to the rest of the amenities and the hot tub/ jacuzzi on the roof is not switched on in summer so no bubbles and cold!

The reception staff were amazing, they truly went over and above to make our stay extra special whilst the hotel was obviously very busy with an event. The room was clean, comfortable, and we slept well. The restaurant had some lovely dishes for an evening meal, with an incredible view! Breakfast was good, all options seemed to be high quality. The hot tub on the top floor with panoramic views was particularly special! We would definitely return!

Very beautiful hotel on the hill overlooking the port and a beach. Our room was very nicely decorated, and had updates. Nice bed, and great balcony. breakfast is continental European… tasty but not much variety. You can get espresso drinks. There’s a mini bar in the rooms and we liked that. they offered us a shuttle to town to do our scuba diving. That was very nice.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect the rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable, the breakfast offered plenty of delicious options, and the entire place was spotless. The staff were always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything I needed. I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Napoli as very easy to get to Napoli Centre by car

The perfect place to stay! The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was fresh and delicious with plenty of options, and the pool was absolutely lovely — a great spot to relax after a day of exploring. Everything was well taken care of, and the atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming.

I have zero complaints about this place, I was a little hesitant when reading previous reviews about the noise from parties, but thankfully there was not one the night we stayed. We needed a place close to the airport for an early flight and it was perfect. I was traveling with my daughter and we were definitely unsure whether we should even pull in because the neighborhood was so sketchy, but once we were in it felt fine. The other guests weren’t sketchy and it was gated, however the gates are left open most of the time. Our room was huge, dated, but very clean and comfy bed! We ordered room service from the restaurant and it was delicious!!! Best hotel food I’ve ever had, except for high end hotels. I would go back just for the food. There wasn’t much to pick from on the menu, but what they had was delicious! We left before breakfast was being served.

Beautiful accommodation. Pool and facilities were immaculate and lovely to spend time at. Breakfast was lovely. Ate at the restaurant at night with the set menu and the food was delicious. Staff were really friendly and kind. We had to alter our stay to one night due to car trouble and they were very accommodating and didn’t charge us which was much appreciated. The room was huge, very spacious. Air con excellent and quiet. It was by the highway but you could not hear the sound as rooms are soundproofed. Beds were really comfortable. Great accommodation. Wish we had stayed longer.

Hotel Giulia is our home away from home. My husband is from Napoli and this is our go to place when we visit! First off lets start off with the staff. EVERYONE IS SO SO NICE! They all know us now after coming here for three years so it is refreshing to see familiar faces! Oh and don't get me started on the food, because let me tell you it is a 5 star rating! The pasta dishes are all homemade and the service is just perfect! The rooms are fresh with cold A.C. and the beds are very comfortable! The pool staff treats us well with the best drinks and service too! Oh and did I mention our t.v. is a smart t.v.?! So we can watch our favorite shows from the comfort of our room! Also did I mention the breakfast?! First off its complimentary with the best selections and coffee! Hotel Giulia we love staying here to say the least and we will for sure be back soon! GRAZIE!

We had a room with jacuzzi but unfortunately we had no time to use it. Room was very nice. We didn't make use of the pool infact we didn't see it. Breakfast was very good.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and loved everything about it. The pool was particularly enjoyable, as it was always nice and clean, perfect for a relaxing swim. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful especially Dominic, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was delightful, offering a variety of bakery items and yogurts to suit all tastes. Although the location is a bit far from the city center, it is conveniently close to a huge supermarket, several restaurants, train station and the beach, which made up for it. Our room was large, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We found the small fridge very convenient, and the balcony was a wonderful place to relax. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

My wife and I spent to days at Montespina Park Hotel relaxing by the pool. The pool was clean and at the perfect temperature. We lounged poolside with nice cocktails and lite food. The staff at the pool and restaurant were amazing! Luca, Giuseppe, and Barbara were fantastic and always helpful! The timing for our stay was perfect with US tourist already returning to the states and the Italian families mainly at the beach during this period in late August! We met a nice couple from Paris and a family from Prague who were very friendly. We couldn’t have asked for more! The hotel was recommended by a friend Faby Aprea, who I have known for a long time. Perfect recommendation! Mille Grazie, Faby!

Beautiful,peaceful location away from the busy city centre,but 29 minute walk to the Mostra D’Oltremare conference centre. Staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for me. My room was spacious,bed comfortable and the terrace outside was welcoming,as were the pastries and little snacks at the bar. The hotel cats were charming company when I sat outside. I ate dinner in the hotel twice,the grilled prawn salad and the beef tagliata were tasty. Breakfast is continental style and good variety. My only very minor comment is the bathtub was small. I wish I would have had more time to enjoy the pool and the lovely terraces.

Paula was a fantastic hotel manager and she went above and beyond to help us at every moment. She has fixed all the issues that occurred throughout immediately and with always a smile on her face. She was absolutely unbelievable! Same for Dina, we have had several conversations and she not only was a super kind person but was very attentive and great at the job. The bed was super comfortable and the room we got the second time was very spacious. The WiFi was very good and worked fine all around the hotel. The location of the hotel was amazing too, close to a supermarket, close to a metro that let us travel around and we could even walk into naples city most days which only took 1-1.30 hours. The pool was also very well maintained and perfect including the sunbeds.

Great location for restaurants, easy walk into the city and good for the ferry terminal to Sorrento, Capri and Ischia. Fabulous to have the jacuzzi.

Room with jacuzzi- clean and comfortable Elevator - suitable for small luggages and 2 pax only. Breakfast - lovely continental breakfast but fot Thai people I think you may not OK. Staff - All of you are friendly and good attitude

Everything was perfect and the view is exactly as described. Easy to find and very patient introduction to the room and facilities given by nice receptionist. Warmth and hospitality from the staff made our stay in Napoli extremely pleasant. All facilities are convenient and sanitised to use, and it was a remarkable night with the volcano, jacuzzi and refreshments.

We didn't realise that there are extensive road works and road closures outside this hotel so it was extremely noisy as well as some bars underneath that crowds stood outside at night. The room was nice but was very smelly of smoke when we first arrived, the bathroom and jacuzzi needed a good clean and we were unable to use it as the water trickled it was half an hour and wasn't even past the jets to use so felt disappointed with what we paid we couldn't use it. The walls were very thin and we could hear neighbours tv quite late at night. Breakfast was lovely and the staff I cannot fault so helpful and couldn't do enough. They were friendly and efficient. We did book at taxi that we were told card payment and the price but when taxi dropped us off taxi said no card and charged us more. Overall a nice stay but room needs a good scrub and the stair at the bathroom door leading to jacuzzi is a little bit of a trip hazard I hurt my toe on it during the night. Also the shiwer didn't drain so the bathroom floor was soaking.

We were very surprised when we eventually found our hotel (was initially hard to find) on the forecourt of a Q8 petrol station. As we entered through the secured gate pleasently surprised, on your left children's playground, clay tennis courts up to the car park. As we walked up the steps on the left the restaurant for breakfast. We arrived very late 1am and staff were welcoming. Our room was clean but it did not have the kitchenette I had requested. The hotel staff said we could sort it in the morning. Next morning after a good night sleep we went for breakfast. Staff were limited in English but we're very helpful. A good selection of food, cakes, croissants cornflakes,meats,cheese,bread,fresh fruit,yoghurts and fresh juices. We swapped rooms during the morning with out any problems, very useful to have the kitchen. The pools area was lovely surrounded with trees bushes etc (see photos). Helpful pool man Antonio who was alway available to get you abed, table umbrella. We were surprised to find that we had to wear swim hats in the pool! But apparently this is the norm. Hotel was central to what we needed and once you were behind the gates you would not know you were close to a motorway/dual carriage way.

Just returned from Italy today, i travelled with my partner & 2 children. Our eldest girl is 2.5 and our youngest just 5 months old. This hotel was perfect. Beautiful well maintained gardens, the staff were so so friendly and the food was just so so tasty! Pizza is fab, breakfast had a good selection and our waiter was so good with the children!!! Locals came on the weekend but personally we really enjoyed that and it added to the atmosphere! My 2 year old loved the cute little play area and even though the pool was closed (during off season) it was a little heaven sitting by the pool in the sunny autumn days. The location is off the dual carriage way so at first we were a bit worried about getting about with no car! However the hotel offer a shuttle in to pozzouli port free of charge 11am and back at- 5pm or to metro where you can get to naples or lots of different places very easily and conveniently! The port was lovely though with a fab harbour, shops, resturants etc. The hotel was very clean and rooms smelled fresh and the staff really went out their way to make us feel welcome! Thank you so much for being so AMAZING. I would really reccomend this hotel and will hopefully be returning soon.

We stayed at the Hotel Agave in late April. This was a beautiful hotel, everything was awesome! The staff was amazing, in the morning there are great Italian pastries and a full breakfast with excellent cappucino. The hotel is easily accessible set back from the road so it is quiet at night and in the morning. The rooms are clean and spacious with maybe the most comfortable beds in Europe. The staff was great, patient with my Italian and so kind. There is a red clay tennis court and picturesque pathways around the hotel where we took evening walks. Stop in the Q8 for a great pannini or pasta of the day. Safe gated parking and a gas station at the bottom of the hill. We had an amazing time, and will be back-- most highly recommended!

Nice hotel located near Pozzuoli. Staff very friendly and helpful. Easy check-in and check-out. The hot tub was a good addition and the shower was lovely (much better than the apartment we rented in Pozzuoli center). The pool would be excellent in the summer, but it was a little too cold for swimming in November. Ideally you should have a car if you're coming to this hotel, the site is next to a motorway on the outskirts of Pozzuoli and has good links to Naples overall (by car/train etc). Good on-site parking. Breakfast was nice and served as a buffet with friendly waitress that will serve you hot drinks. Breakfast is served between 7:30 and 10 AM. There will always be staff available to open the front-gate at any hour of the day, which was a big plus for us.

One of the best finds ever. Hidden behind a rest stop off a major road, it was so surprising to find this lovely, private hotel behind a secured gate. An intercom buzzes you inn and you're greeted by a warm , friendly staff. There are lots of steps, but staff carried our luggage to our room. Beautiful, clean room with a sitting area and kitchen area (which we didn't use) Francesca, at the desk , was delightful. She spoke English beautifully and was so helpful. Thanks Francesca! We had dinner at the restaurant. I loved what I ate. Had fried fresh anchovies and large grilled shrimp. Enzo, our waiter was great. I was here only one night on my way to Sicily, saw 'Baia and Cumae which are nearby. I would come back here again. Need a car though.

Pros: Excellent service--a special shoutout to Lorenzo in the front desk for his kindness and resourcefulness. We were offered a room upgrade on arrival and the room was well-located and very comfortable, with an outside garden terrace and a private jacuzzi. Great hotel location (in Lacco Ameno, northwest of the island). I loved the ambiance, given the lush greenery in and around the property (honoring its name). The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We did not use the spa facilities, but they looked great, including a thermal pool. Its restaurant, Il Mirto, is vegetarian and top-notch; it has been awarded a Michelin Green star. Fair price, compared to other luxury hotels in the island/region.

We would come back to Ischia just to stay here again!!!!! The hotel is wonderful! The gardens and grounds are beautiful. Our room felt like it was tucked away in a garden. Private , huge, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was the largest we had while traveling Italy. Now let’s talk about dining… Oh my gosh! Breakfast is awesome. There are so many delicious choices you might forget to go out and explore. Beautiful baked good, omelette station, Fruit, fresh granolas and big displays of their honey. And there is always a mimosas station. The service is top notch and so attentive. We ordered espresso the first morning and never had to order again it was brought when we sat down each morning. We stopped a couple of times at the small bar. The drinks were so perfect and the snacks from the chef each night were a wonderful surprise. Service was perfect. We actually had friends that stay down the hill on the water at a VERY exclusive and very expensive hotel that we invited for drinks and dinner one night. We had cocktails first and the lovely bar and the. dinner in the restaurant. They commented that our hotel was way better than theirs and the food and service was outstanding. We stayed in one rainy day for Spa and Lunch by the pool. The thermal pools are so lovely. They have several water falls that you can stand under that beats down on your neck for a nice massage. There are bubble chairs where you can relax and soak in the rich minerals. Perfect!

Beautiful property. This hotel is absolutely gorgeous, comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet has tons of fresh and delicious options, staff was extraordinarily helpful in arranging ferry transfers, car rentals, and dinner reservations. The location was lovely, just a 5 minute drive to Forio. We loved getting apertivo by the pool or at the bar every night before dinner.

I've just spent 2 nights at this gorgeous hotel. What can I say? Everything about this hotel is amazing, the rooms, gardens, restaurants and bars. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The owner Rita is so friendly and personally showed me to my room. I usually don't sleep well in hotels but I've had the best sleep since I got here and I am so sorry to leave. All the rooms are individually styled and so comfortable with their own entrances, a little like your own villas. The cave bar is a must to visit, such a lovely setting. The food is all home made and the vegetables and herbs all grown in their own gardens and is so tasty and the presentation is amazing. Definitely worth a stay, you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful and peaceful place. Clean, comfortable, specious rooms. The views are breathtaking there. Spent lot of time by the swimming pool which was in September not crowded and great for swimming and sun bathing. The beach is just 5-8 minutes to walk - its amazing sandy beach with clear water, wonderful for both swimming and relaxing. The hotel staff is nice, very accommodating, helpfull, eager to come with good suggestions what to do at Ischia and helping to arrange whatever you need. Very good breakfast! Loved the place and hope to return back!

Clean, neat, nice hotel in a great central location near the main bus and train station and the old historical neighbourhood. We wanted a centrally located base from which we could spend the time exploring everywhere (centro storico to vomero and Chiaia and everything in between to Pompeii and Vesuivius, Capri, Positano, Almafi Coast and Salerno) and thus was ideal. The rooms are not that large (we had a small balcony overlooking the little square), nor is the hotel, but considering we only slept there and had breakfast, and the bathroom was clean and nice and great shower pressure and HOT water - what more do you really need? Breakfast was a typical continental european breakfast with meat, cheese, eggs, pastries, fruit, yogurt, cereal and a variety of hot and cold drinks. Thank you to the server Luanna! Perfect to get you going and out the door in the morning. One of the best and famous pizza places was just around the corner (with huge queues but was so worth it!) as was centro storico with loads of restaurants. As with any major city, areas around train and bus stations are scruffier and noisier but we knew that. For the price it was great! If you want something more posh there are more expensive hotels in other areas. Finally, there is 24 hr receptionist cover and they were really helpful! We came with the ferry from Ischia and our walk to the hotel led us through some unsightly streets of the harbour district - and we started to become a bit sceptical. But, arriving at the hotel we were pleasantly surprised (area seemed to us save). The hotel looked beautiful. It's a very small hotel (from the building, but also only 3 or 4 rooms per floor), everything super clean, the interior design pleasant (depends on individual taste). So we were very happy. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very central, nearly in the historic city centre and not far away from the main train station. The breakfast had a rich choice - even whole grain croissants. Some short remark: I had a room with a small balcony (with a view on a small place and church). That offered enough place. The room of my travelling companion was much smaller - so I recommend the bigger room with balcony (even if it is more, but not much expensive). All in all: best value for money.

Great location: 15 min walk to Napoli Centrale or 7 min walk to subway station Duomo. Nice staff at the reception and at the breakfast buffet. Breakfast is just okay. Wifi is great. Plenty quiet for a good sleep. Coffee and tea in the room. Fantastic aircon unit (which I needed, even in October). Little balcony with nice view from the 3rd floor. Overall I had a pleasant 6 night stay and I think the price is right for what you get.

This was my second time staying at the Hotel Suite Ares (my first was last summer), this time with my partner and our 10-month-old baby. The hotel is in a good location from both the train station and the historic center of Naples, and it is comfortable and convenient with an ample breakfast in the morning. More than anything though, what I most want to emphasize from my stay here is the excellent service provided by the hotel staff. Carmine not only remembered me from last year, but he and his colleague Orlando both did all they could to help make us comfortable and enjoyable—from ordering us taxis to helping us with parking our car to giving us non-touristy restaurant recommendations and more. I am very glad that we chose to stay here again.

This is a wonderful hotel in the beating heart of Napoli - it is a short walk from the main Garibaldi Train Station and as you would expect it is extremely chaotic and busy around here- but that is what to expect in a city such as Naples. Very easy to get around the main attractions- Trains to Pompeii and Sorrento are very accessible and the hotel is within walking distance to Old Town and Shopping District. Noise from the street is almost completely muffled by well insulated rooms and there is also a balcony in the room. There is a bar open 24/7 offering a decent selection of drinks. Air conditioning in the room. Shower pressure is one of the best I have experienced in a hotel and the beds are comfy if functional. The staff at Hotel Ares are truly exceptional- Simone, Orlando and Matteo go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and at home- their knowledge of the local area is first class and that really assisted us in making the most of our trip. Special shout out to Nunzio the Night Porter who would never hesitate to offer me a drink late in the evening and his warmth was just so genuine. Also Antonietta the Breakfast lady always remembered me and my wife’s milk preferences and even carried our luggage to the storage on check out at her request. This is real Italian hospitality at its finest. A very reasonable price for the room too. You will not be disappointed coming to Hotel Ares.

Loved the hotel room. We paid for the panoramic views with the balcony on the 3rd floor. Amazing views of the sea and square. Sound of the waves every night and morning. The pool was refreshing, saline water. The jacuzzi was amazing. Staff were friendly. Towels and slippers provided. Also, beach towels. The reception staff were wonderful.

The location of the hotel is perfect, it has a warm swimming pool and Jacuzzi which can be used even when the weather is cold and you can still enjoy the resort in full. The shuttle is a great service and from the Vico Eqeunse, the very cheap train with a good schedule can take you to almost all attractions. The reception is the most excellent part. The entire reception especially Anna and Valentina are not only very friendly and professional, but also they really care and it feels like the whole staff is doing their best to make you a memorable stay in their resort.

Amazing resort, located near Marina d'Aequa, at the foothill of Vico Equense, a picturesque village on the Amalfi coast. The hotel is beautiful and quiet, with most of the rooms having sea view. The Spa area has breathtaking views over Naples and the Vesuvius and includes several heated and ambient temperature swimming pools, a jacuzzi, sauna and Kneipp trail. The access to the Spa area was free of charge. The private beach is large, with sunbeds and umbrellas, all free of charge. Sandy areas alternate with those with pebbles, so aqua shoes might be a good idea. Breakfast was very good, with a great variety of food and drinks. Coffee was served a la carte and it was really good. The staff was kind and welcoming, we really appreciated the service. Rooms were spacious and bright. They were cleaned every day, our towels were changed, toiletries supplies were refilled. We had the perfect holiday, with excellent service, great location and amazing views! Definitely a place where we would come back.

We were in the area for work and took a couple days extra to relax and enjoy fall on the Amalfi Coast. We were so lucky to find Hotel & Resort Le Axidie, it checked all the boxes and exceeded expectations. The resort has a private beach, swimming pool, and outdoor heated pools that are just beautiful. The bar and beachside bistrot are always staffed and ready with drinks, snacks, and lunch. Rooms are spacious and spotless. The cleanliness is amazing and the fragrance everywhere makes you feel like you're in the tropics. Views are unbelievable, the Vesuvius is right in front of your eyes, towering over the sparkling blue bay of Naples. Food was excellent, the fabulous breakfast buffet complete with eggs and bacon, as well as the gourmet restaurant, both rooftop so with the ultimate vista. A shuttle is available to take guests into the town of Vico Equense. For a change of scenery there are a couple of restaurants and a cocktail bar just outside of the resort property. We highly recommend Hotel & Resort Le Axidie for your next Amalfi Coast vacation!

Absolutely Wonderful Stay! I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The location was perfect – close to everything but still peaceful. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Great stay in the heart of Naples! The hotel is in a perfect location in the city center, close to both the bus and train stations. We had a room with a large terrace overlooking Vesuvius, the harbor, and the islands — truly amazing views! Everything was clean and well kept. Towels were changed daily, breakfast was excellent and served on a beautiful terrace, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room we stayed had a terrace. The city view was very nice and the terrace had two beach chairs and a shower as well. The location was great, only about 5 minutes' walk from the central station. 10 mins walk can you take to the main happeing streets.

The property is a good deal for the money The room wos super clean and comfortable with a nice view over the city from the balcony, reception team was super friendly

All the staff I met is friendly, attentive and very respectful. My room was clean, had everything that a normal hotel room should have and the water pressure for the shower was good. This is what I was looking for my trip. Highly recommended.

Hotel Garden is genuine as can get. All staff is very helpful and polite. The view from the 7 th floor terrace is amazing. I like to come back to this place every time I am in Naples

- Room (Quite neat, new look) - Bathroom - Very nice, same new look - Balcony - I had a super balcony from the 5th floor, it was wonderful and with an impressive view - Minibar included in the price of accommodation - Air conditioning / Heating - Super ok - Super comfortable bed, I think there were 2 mattresses - The girl at check-in, very professional, helped us with our luggage on the last day after check-out to keep them at her place for a few more hours.

We arrived in a moment of the renovation of the reception and hallways of the stairs but the room was clean and with modernly furnished. Comfortable beds, spacious bathroom with all necessary things, safe box in the room. We was all day out of the hotel so renovation didn't affect us. Breakfast was good.

Read reviews about this hotel and was a bit unsure on booking due to some of the reviews. We decided on location, tranquility ,private beach ,pool , sea view with balcony and free shuttle bus into Sorrento so ticked all the boxes and went ahead with the booking . Two nights into our holiday would be my 60th birthday so would give us a bit of time to find a nice restaurant to book for a meal .staff at reception very friendly check in no issues room as expected on reading reviews great view sonly negative our balcony had a pillar that runs up through the middle of it ,two chairs one side and the table on the other (room 226) . Staff at breakfast very friendly helpful and welcoming , bar staff also friendly smiling and very helpful , free clean towels at pool side daily and enough sun loungers available . Room cleaned daily with fresh towels loo roll bed sheets couldn’t fault this service. We only ate at breakfast due to wanting to eat out at lunch and dinners at different restaurants . We never used the shuttle as we enjoyed the local bus into Sorrento daily €2 . We are 100% going back to this hotel next year once we find the best way to book our room with a sea view again but not room 226.

We were sceptical after reading reviews, we arrived and was upgraded to Seaview room, I agree that somethings could be abit modern but added to charm and didn't bother us, the cleaners came in everyday and left room clean and refilled things for us, a couple of ladies and a man at front desk was always helpful and friendly, we didn't drink really down at bar but bar staff always waved or smiled and was pleasant and friendly, the shuttle bus was a really good system for trips and to get into sorrento, you have to book at front desk and pick a time to go and to leave sorrento trips the shuttle bus always was there waiting for you to get off trip bus always organised, and finally the food, my wife was abit more picky but always found something to eat and I loved the food we both enjoyed all the desserts the staff are really a credit to hotel like the other staff they make the hotel, they knew your room number remembered what you liked to drink had a laugh and carry on with us and was always polite friendly and fun I would definitely stay at this hotel again, it's getting some renovation but pool cleaned daily, life guard always hard working the sea is beautiful bring some water shoes as it's rock beach we bought some but seen a few people struggle to get into the water , views and sunsets is unbelievable and we sat on a night and played cards and listened to the entertainment amazing hotel from our point of view well done all staff at this hotel.

Excellent hotel in a great location with pool, private beach and lovely food. Reception team very friendly, helpful and speak excellent English. Rooms are huge, beds comfortable, lovely balconies over pool and beach. Pool open from 9am is nice but runs alongside restaurant so expect an audience! Beach also nice. Breakfast outstanding, great mix of hot food like scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon and potatoes, smoked salmon, fruits, yoghurt, loads of patisserie items and breads. Didn't have dinner there so can't comment, but based on breakfast, I'd guess it is good but seemed pricey at 40 Euros for full buffet. Also a free shuttle bus into and out of Sorrento. Lovely place to stay. Two quibbles - water for showers only warm not hot on all bar one occasion, and no kettle in room which they provided upon asking, though it wasn't until the third attempt that they provided one that worked! TOP TIP: Visit Dal Ceppone pizza restaurant for dinner, only 10 minutes walk away. Two big and lovely pizzas, a bowl of hot fries big enough for two, litre of water and large Peroni for under £10 each. Crazy value and good quality.

We had a wonderful week over Easter at Mar Alimuri with our three adult daughters and loved the hotel. The rooms were incredibly spacious and very clean, with huge, comfortable beds - and the balcony with sea view was extra special. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and the food was excellent - plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner and the staff were delightful - friendly and helpful, and so attentive - when they discovered our family loved fruit we were treated to a large platter every evening! It was really pleasant to sit on the sun loungers by the beach, and enjoy the dramatic cliff setting, or take the shuttle bus into Sorrento - such a lovely, helpful driver (tip: book at reception the night before). The train station at Meta is a very steep, but only 15 minute walk away, giving access to Pompeii, Herculaneum or Naples, although the only negative about our holiday was the erratic public transport, which also gets very crowded. This area is such a great base for discovering the Amalfi coast as well as all the cultural sites in the region - we'd love to return.

Great location in the middle of the old town, with a lovely Coffee Shop (IT's CAFFE & BISTRO)right around the corner. The room was very comfortable featuring a king and a queen size bed, plus an integrated jacuzzi.

We liked the room very much. It was larger than normal rooms you stay in hotels with two queen size beds. Room was very clean and if you like jacuzzi, there was one in our room. Thrrr were no time to use the jacuzzi. Coffee was wonderful, I like it stronge. Mattia and Andrea were very helpful and nice. I wish the neighborhood was better but that’s how the city is no matter were you stay.

Andrea was an amazing host. He communicated with me before I arrived for any questions I might have and checked in with me each day to see if there was anything I needed. Upon arrival, he spent time showing me where everything was on the map. The location is easy walking to so many sights and restaurants. There is also a grocery and laundry 2 minutes away walking. My room was spotlessly clean and modern plus I enjoyed the jacuzzi tub after a long day of walking. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe and secure at Tredici. I would highly recommend staying here.

We were greeted by Andrea, who was very helpful in suggesting where to visit for our short stay in Naples. The location was great, The room exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable, modern, spacious for 2 adults & 2 children. Our youngest loved having a jacuzzi & being able to watch TV . Would totally recommend Tredici.

The suite was spacious, stylish and with a large jacuzzi and a private sauna. The location was excellent, in close proximity to central station and the center of Naples. Parking was well arranged in a garage close by. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.

Great location, close to the train station and main shopping streets of Napoli. Our room was one facing into the building, so while we did not have a view of anything, it was very quiet being isolated from the main street side. The Jacuzzi great too!
