The stay was great first time ever being there. Staff was super friendly throughout the restaurant, lounge and Inn. With being 50 yrs old I was surprised on how well they kept it up. Beds are super comfortable. We liked the fact that it had a lounge and restaurant on site very convenient. Super cute little town and The Brown Inn is in a great location for all the shops just a short walk to them. The only complaint I would have would be the rooms didn’t have any mini fridge in them and that’s something they should add for the guest. The restaurant offers a breakfast buffet on Saturday & Sunday for $15 a person and serves lunch and dinner. We only tried the breakfast bar they had a good variety of things to choose from and food was good.

Fantastic Inn!!! My son & I stayed here to check out IU because hotels in Bloomington were booked (basketball) We basically stumbled upon this hotel hoping it was a good choice - the reviews are great! We were very impressed with many aspects of this inn. The desk and restaurant employees were very helpful and friendly. The weekend buffet breakfast was AMAZING!!! Very fresh & homemade! Dinner was very good as well. Our room was very clean and well-presented. This is an older building, but the owners definitely take great care of everything from the rooms to dining. The whole place had a warm & welcoming atmosphere! We hope to return someday! :)

Our room was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The room had been recently updated. The property is located at the end of town but still within a short walking distance to all restaurants and shops. A pretty walking path to town is available at the back of the property. We ate breakfast in the dining room and had dinner in the Corn Crib bar. Food was excellent. The property includes a cute playground, outdoor games and a pool that is perfect for kids and adults. Parking Is plentiful. The grounds are beautifully decorated with flowers and well maintained.

From the minute we arrived we were welcomed by great staff at the front door, we had a minor issue of our door key not working, but the staff was on top of it, and it was corrected promptly!! I loved having the little patio space outside of our room, with views of the beautiful pool. The breakfast buffet, was great (especially the biscuits,) restaurant menu had a lot of great dishes and everything we tried was delicious. Bar was so much fun with the live music, bartenders were fun and made us some great drinks!! Might I suggest you try the Bloody Mary and Kaluah and cream with a splash of amaretto… Overall experience was great. The path way into downtown Nashville is very convenient. It could use a little extra lighting! If I were going to have any suggestions, it would be for a mini-fridge in each room, iron and ironing board, and maybe a little nicer comforter on the beds! All minor fixes!! Thank you for a very enjoyable weekend!

This is an amazing place to stay. Everything needed is on grounds, has a restaurant, lounge with music Thursday-weekend, mini golf, great swimming pool, and close to all the little shops. The room was the cleanest room we have ever stayed in at a hotel and they smelled good. The staff amazing and friendly. We had dinner at Hard Truth, after shopping in the district and doing a tour, so we didn’t have dinner at the Inn, but we had drinks, listened to the band and had breakfast. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Just be aware this is a two-story hotel without an elevator, but if you need a ground floor room, I am positive if you called to request that, they would be able to accommodate you. I am definitely returning here next year for my trips up north. Thank you Brown County Inn, for your hospitality and taking pride in your establishment.

No complaints. Very nice and clean hotel. The jacuzzi bath tub in the room was great, felt wonderful and was very relaxing after a long day. This hotel is in excellent walking distance of the brown county music center. Will definitely be staying here again. The staff is very friendly

The location was within walking distance, the free breakfast was amazing, and the pool was clean and well maintained. Rooms were exceptional, clean, and stocked with fresh linens. The bathroom was clean, and the amenities were above par! The lobby was inviting, cozy, and comfortable. The staff was friendly, professional, and met all of our needs. Overall, the stay was a pleasant and relaxing, worry free time.

Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean. Bathroom was large, very large jetted tub was relaxing. Slightly harder to get into since it's a deep tub. Spacious room. Breakfast was good. Nice variety of things to choose from. Staff was polite, very friendly. Property was clean. Seating area outside was nice and quiet. Good lighting the parking lot. Nice, safe area. Great location to down town Nashville.

Clean, Quiet, friendly, reasonably priced, good breakfast and close to little Nashville. Bed was comfortable with nice pillows, good size TV with adequate channels, small refrigerator, iron with ironing board, blow dryer, coffee maker and always free coffee up front . Would stay again 🙂

The room was perfect. It was very clean with a fresh smell. The shower, toilet, and sink worked great. There is no elevator. This was okay for us, because we traveled light. I would’ve given five stars, but the pool was not in very good condition. The paint was peeling throughout the entire pool. This was pretty nasty. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. We cannot give information on the mini breakfast because we did not partake in it. The parking lot was plentiful. It was near an IGA and McDonald’s. They were both within a very short walking distance. We did not go to it but across the street up on a hill was an entertainment place. We are not sure because we didn’t go over there. We had a very short day. Just wanted to walk through the town and go to some shops..

Jim was very friendly and funny. They have chickens on the property and serve fresh eggs. The room was wonderful, the bed was comfy. The jacuzzi tub worked and was clean. The hot tub outside was nice as well! A great experience and I didn't want to leave.

We enjoyed the Jacuzzi, canopy bed, fireplace, and the country breakfast. The hosts were excellent with their hospitality.

Enjoyed shopping at Nashville for my birthday. Loved the food at the Artist Colony. Beautiful room at Lil' Bear Bed and Breakfast. Enjoyed jacuzzi bathtub and the adorable fireplace heater. Wine glasses for 2 and a fridge to chill my wine. Spent next day at Edinburgh shopping after a wonderful breakfast. Delightful stay!

Jim is an awesome host. Very congenial. The Jacuzzi bathtub was the best I’ve ever used. Did not love the steep stairs to get up to flights to our room nor all of the ladybugs on the ceiling though I understand what happened. We were in the middle of a forest and they were brought in to feast on an infestation of other creatures. Breakfast was good and enjoyed the company of the Mother and daughter from Chicago and South Bend. Wi-Fi was spotty and often weak so I could not get done when I needed to.

The property gave me a feeling of warmth. It is nestled in the beautiful mountains of Nashville. There is a wishing well out front, as well as seasonal decorations that set the tone for a sweet, caring place to stay. My room was clean, decorated with little bears - matching the name of the bed and breakfast. A lot of thought went into making the room comfortable like a bathtub jacuzzi, a warm enclosed fire heater and a big screen TV. Each morning of my two day stay the owners made and served a delicious breakfast to all guests. Not only that! They asked about dietary restrictions. I’m a vegetarian and don’t eat eggs and they gave me toast, hash browns, and fruit. When it comes to going beyond the call of duty…I recently had spinal surgery and forgot my pain medicine! I called the owner and ask if he had any tylonol. He brought me enough medication to last the remainder of my stay.

From the time our group of 8 golfers arrived at 10 AM on Tuesday, September 6th and departed for home on Thursday, September 8th at noon, we had played 99 holes of golf (yes...that's right...99 holes) at the Salt Creek Golf Resort; spent two nights in the very comfortable and inviting Overlook Lodge condominiums located on the golf course property...only about 25 yards or so from the pro shop...with our accomodations having covered patios with beautiful views of the 10th fairway and green, and dined two evenings at The 19th Hole Sports Bar and Grille that is located right down the hallway from the Salt Creek pro shop. The food and service both evenings (Lorraine was our server) was great (with freshly popped corn always available). The golf course, while some fairways and some tee boxes were not in perfect condition (because of rains combined with the sweltering heat over the past month), allowed for a very challenging and enjoyable round of golf with the Salt Creek crossing the course in many locations and there being major elevation changes on the "back nine". The greens were in excellant condition and were very well manicured.

The property was very nice. Condo had golf course view with a nice outdoor patio. In the evening deer came out of the woods and onto the golf course. The condo itself was very nice. Had everything including washer and dryer. There is a restaurant and bar on-site but we chose other restaurant and bar options in town. This was our first time at this location and won’t hesitate to go back in the future.

Booked a condo for a concert that was postponed, and decided to come anyway. We love the area, and have stayed a few different places, and Salt Creek is staffed by the friendliest folks in the business. The condos are comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The 19th Hole has some of the best bar food around, and a fun and friendly bartender(try the homemade hot sauce). Can't wait to come visit again!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The facilities were clean and comfortable. While we were there the creek overflowed it's banks, but there were employees stationed at the bridge to insure that it was safe for our vehicles to proceed through the water. We would definitely stay again.

This was an amazing place to stay. The condo was spotless and so comfortable. Facing the golf course was relaxing and it was quiet. I have paid a lot more for horrible hotel rooms so this was a total treat! Will book there whenever possible!

Very nice, quiet inn. Great location with easy walk to restaurants, shops etc. Delicious food in restaurant. Staff very friendly. Rooms are basic but nice. Bed was fairly comfortable. Wish there had been a more comfortable side chair in the room.

Check in was easy with text links the property sent. The inn has a lot of charm. Parking was free. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Very quiet considering the location at the center of town. Coffee service was much appreciated. Restaurant was also good.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Food in the restaurant is great, as usual, no matter what you get to eat. Clean. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable, very limited lighting in the room & bathroom, very small tv in room, no dresser to put clothing in- just hooks around the room, and no where to sit really besides the bed or uncomfortable wooden chairs. Definitely an old colonial style room- 4 poster bed that was very high off the floor and creaked with every slight move. If the rooms were updated with more lighting, more comfortable place to sit, and a nicer mattress, it would be much better.

Room was very clean except smear of chocolate on the bedspread and pillows were not comfortable and smelled strongly of other human heads. Breakfast was amazing with sausage and biscuits, bacon and hash browns- very tasty and great service.

Staff really nice. Parking directly behind hotel. In the middle of Nashville; perfect location. Room was large; clean. Colonial decor. Very quiet. Bed comfy. Bathroom large; single freestanding sink so no room to put your things but no biggy. If you are staying to attend a show at the Nashville music center; there is a shuttle pick up at the subway shop which is about a block away or there is a walking trail across from the subway that takes you to the center. We walked then took the shuttle back

Set in beautiful Brown County State Park with lots of trails and in nature all around. The lodge where we stayed was renovated with spacious room clean the bed was comfortable enough. The bathroom was nice and spacious. We enjoyed the restaurant for breakfast. There is a large pool center that we did not take advantage of that many families were there.

The staff was very welcoming and kind. We booked our room on booking.com and we had no issues at check in. The room was very clean, and the water park was so much fun! Lot's of staff around to ensure all your needs are met. The breakfast buffet was incredible as well, and reasonably priced! There is also a ping pong table and an air hockey table available for use at any hour! We will definitely be staying here again!

Peaceful quiet atmosphere. The cabin suites are very clean, comfortable, and family friendly.

We enjoyed the game room,aquatics center, and restaurant. We played air hockey, went down the waterslide,and soaked in the hot tub. We ate two meals at the Little Gem Restaurant, and it was a little gem! The staff were very friendly and responsive. The blackberry wine was delicious, as was the breakfast skillet. We had a patio room and plan on coming back in warmer weather and getting another patio room then!

The indoor water park was a hit with the kids. The on-sight restaurant was good and very convenient, though the breakfast Buffett needed a couple other options and they did not offer off the menu at the time. Rooms were above average size, updated, clean and mostly quiet. Bathrooms are large and nice.

We have stayed here before and this time was great, as well. However, the hotel could certainly use updating. Unfortunately, the bed seemed very old and hard as a rock. Having an indoor pool and jacuzzi was a plus. The staff was very helpful and nice.

We loved our stay. We had a great set of rooms with a nice view. The bed was very comfortable, it was a king size. The bathroom hooked to the bedroom has a walk in shower. There was another full bathroom in the rooms and it had a tub/shower combination. The furniture was older but not worn and very comfortable. The whole atmosphere of the Hotel is "victorianish" so to have older furnishings fit in. The kitchenette was nice. If I had any complaint it was that the microwave did not have a rotating base like many do so items we were heating up did not always cook evenly. Also, at least in the unit we were in, there was a cook top,but no oven so don't plan on baking anything. There was a dishwasher but we did not use it. We had two TV's with our unit. The only added extra that would have helped would have been some form of guide so you would know what was on. The complementary breakfast each morning was adequate. There was always the waffle machine, sweet rolls, cereal, coffee, juice., toast, bagel and instant oatmeal. If there was anything lacking it would have been protein and more fresh fruit. We did not use the pool or hot tub so can't comment on that. Also we were there during the part of the week that the bar/restaurant that is located at the hotel was not open. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back again.

We loved our stay at Hotel Nashville. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. In addition to the bedroom with bath there was a second bath, living room with Murphy bed, dining area and small kitchen with refrigerator, stove but no oven, microwave and toaster. The coffee pot is hotel sized. The kitchen was not fully equipped, so if you plan to cook bring pots and pans, dishes, etc. it is an easy walk into the quaint town of Nashville. The staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. A nice surprise was the large outdoor covered gazebo where we enjoyed playing cards. The price was very reasonable.

Hotel Nashville is a time share property that you can rent by the night. We stayed in a one bedroom with king bed, which had 2 full baths, one with shower and one with bathtub, a kitchen and a living/dining room. It was just right for the two of us. The decor and furnishings are somewhat dated but in good condition. The kitchen is not well equipped; there are no wine glasses, limited dishes and silverware, no kitchen towel or washcloth or even paper towels, so if you plan to cook or eat in your room bring your own! There also is no dishwasher or even a drainer and no oven. However, they do provide breakfast (sweet rolls, cereal, make your own waffles, fresh and canned fruit as well as coffee and orange juice.} The hotel is in walking distance of downtown Nashville, which is a small artist colony/shopping area known for their art and arts and crafts. On the weekends and during the summer parking is at a premium. You can pay to park at the few lots or drive around looking for a free space, so walking is easier. Be advised, however, that to get to the street from our room involved many, many stairs and the walk (or climb) back up to our room was arduous! There is also an indoor pool, which we did not use but was enjoyed by other guests, and there is a restaurant on site, that has a great menu. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Nashville and would recommend it to anyone looking for more space than a motel room.

We came down for a girls trip and we really weren't sure what we were going to get, because I normally get a cabin out of town. This was sooooo convenient for exploring town Nice sitting on the balcony, relax and people watch. You gave unassigned parking spot, but were only able to park in our alotted spot twice, so we parked in a different spot. I hope it was ok. LOTS of room for us 3 ladies to spread out and not be on top of each other. The staff at the front desk were so friendly and helpful. They gave that extra personal touch. I will be looking to.book again with yall. Next time I'm going to try to.hit the pool. We didn't have time this trip, but did check it out and it looked very clean. Thank you for friendliness and personal touch. We'll be back!

The hotel was very clean and we would stay there again. However, the lighting in the room was not up to par. I recommend that they put three-way bulbs in the lamps. The pillows hurt my neck. We were in a part of the hotel that was apparently forgotten because the cleaning service did not clean our room for the first day or give us clean towels. Also, the bar soap was very strong that by the end of the third day, my hands were bleeding. My husband went to the front desk to get us clean towels and Kleenex and the ladies were very helpful. The fish dinner at the Rafters was pathetic. We could not even eat it and did not want to because it did not even look like fish. However, we ate there many times and the other food was good. The room was large and roomy and so was the bathroom.

This place is very spacious and nice! The beds were a bit firm for my liking, but overall the place is really clean with pretty views and convenient outside access. There was an issue where the property almost canceled our stay for not paying immediately when I made the reservation, but they cleared that up (while annoyed) after I showed them expedia offered me a "pay later at location" option. Between reserving and arriving at the hotel, they tried to withdraw the money from my bank account, without asking, 5 times. Just a heads up for anyone else who tried to pay later instead of when reserving. They apparently never offer that. The hotel is clean, quiet, and nice, though!

This is an older property that has been updated. The room was very spacious, the bathroom was large with only a shower. I did have a patio with a nice view. There was a small wet bar in the room. The TV was tiny compared to the size of the room. The on site restaurant was good with large portions. However they no longer have a pool, that was disappointing to me but more and more places are getting rid of pools. I will definitely stay here again! There is so many cute shops within the downtown area and wineries. If you’re into antiques just outside of town best antique shop I’ve ever been too!

We loved our stay here! The rooms are clean, larger than we thought they would be, the beds comfortable, and the hotel restaurant had incredibly delicious food! Great location to shops and restaurants. Will definitely be staying here again

All the staff wonderful, Anne at the front desk and our waitress at the restaurant. The food was amazing! Rooms were clean, safe and spacious. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area!!

The room needed dusting and the Jacuzzi had dirt like sand in it. There were cobwebs in the lamps. Other than that it was a very nice stay.

This is a very unique property. When we pulled up we thought we was at the wrong place. Does not look like a place that would have rooms in it. When we figured out how to get in our room, it was just like the pictures. We really enjoyed the hottub. Much better than a hotel. We would love to stay again.

The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. It was a hot day and the AC kept the humidity down and was perfect for sleeping. Hot tub was perfect and very clean as well. Plenty of towels with a clean bathroom and shower. We were in room 3 and all around perfect experience.

The room was very nice and clean. The ladybugs were terrible around the corners of the room but we were warned about this before coming and they let us know they could have someone come and vacuum them up if they bothered us, which was nice. This is something that comes with the time of year. The hot tub was very nice and clean as well as the rest of the room. The bed wasn't the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on, however, the sheets and blankets were super soft and warm unlike most hotels you stay at. The couch in the room was also super comfortable and big enough for someone to sleep on if needed. We were in a room that walked out to the back of the building. It has beautiful landscape and had it not been raining we would have taken more advantage of that amenity. Overall, it was a great stay and we would recommend it to others.

My husband and i just needed a night away. We spent a few hours strolling around the shops then headed to the hotel. Parking right out front. No check in desk, they emailed me a door lock code for our room. We let ourselves in and made ourselves comfortable. The room was nice and clean. We had a little patio looking out on the pond where the weddings are held. It was a little cold to sit outside but we did go for a walk. Nice quiet serene setting. Our hot tub was warmed up and ready to go. We were able to watch a movie while sitting in the hot tub. We had a wonderful relaxing night. Already planing on making it a more common occurrence for us.

We came for a quick stay over. Just wanted to shop, eat, and drink in town. This place was clean, affordable, and cute. Yes it’s a bit old but very clean!! The lady at the front desk was so friendly and helpful! The bed was really comfy. So peaceful and quiet. Don’t hesitate to book here.

Very friendly staff & clean. Arrived after dark....steps challenging to upstairs and heat coming from back sides of air conditioners was uncomfortable while wrestling luggage down narrow balcony. Perfectly adequate, quaint rooms, comfortable bed & CLEAN :-) Great for pit stop (sleep & shower) on trip. TV reception/clarity spotty the night we were there. Very nice & helpful desk clerk.

You've been coming to Brown county for years and years. This year we booked at the last minute and found an opening at Green Valley Lodge. When we arrived we were so surprised at how well maintained the lodge is. We rented three different rooms in each and every room was spotless the rooms are well-maintained the beds are cozy and the rooms are welcoming. We've already decided that we will be booking this place for next year. I can't believe in all the years we've been coming that we've never stayed here before. this is a hidden gem just outside of town!! And did I mention that Green Valley Lodge is an exceptional value as compared to other places in town???

We stayed here for a week and are glad that we did. My wife and I came to Nashville for a get away week on our Harley, and it rained for the 1st half of the week. The location of this hotel was perfect. We were close enough to everything we wanted to do, that we didn't get to wet. Brown County State Park is just a mile to the West, and downtown Nashville is just a mile to the East. One of the things we appreciated the most, was the fact the owner lives on site. She does a wonderful job of taking care of her guests. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the coffee was hot. If we come back to Nashville we will most likely stay here again.

My husband, daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights on a quick trip to Indiana. The room was incredibly clean. The lady at the front desk was super friendly. Our room didn’t have a fridge and there was ice in the reception area though a couple times we went to try to get ice it was locked and even after we rang the bell we still couldn’t get it. Overall we enjoyed staying here as it was clean and comfortable and cheaper than the other options in Nashville.

The rental was clean and cozy. The bed comfortable and clean. The couch set low for me though, and the shower was slippery, and had no hand rail. If you have to use a grab bar, bring along one. I loved that the toilet set higher, and was comfy. They were well stocked with toilet paper and coffee supplies. Very friendly.

Our manager was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The place was adorable and immaculately kept and this is only the first of many stays that we have planned at the Iris Gardens Downtown Cottages and Suites. It is conveniently located in downtown Nashville, Indiana. We were able to walk to nearly anywhere we wanted to go including restaurants and shopping but it was quiet and very peaceful at the same time. All in all, it is a wonderful place to stay and I highly recommend Iris Gardens Downtown Cottages and Suites for your next stay in Nashville, Indiana

This is not a Bed and Breakfast. The room was cute and cozy and very clean with a very comfortable bed and good lighting, shower, and AC/fan options. The whole property is quaint and perfectly located in this cute little town. Staff was extremely responsive and kind.

This was a great location and convenient to many of the shops and restaurants. The room was perfect. The room was very clean and the parking was close to the room. Check in was simple and very friendly welcome. Will definitely reserve here again in future trips.

We really enjoy staying here. It's like being in a quaint rustic cabin. It's within walking distance of almost everything. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. You have your own little porch to sit and enjoy the evening plus a community fire pit to enjoy and meet other guests. We try to stay here whenrver we visit. Great bang for your buck!
