The staff were very polite and helpful. The food - absolutely delicious and super fresh. We had only a dinner because we had to leave early - but it was great homemade one. Room was spacious, had extra blankets, spacious bathroom with needed supplies provided. Great value for that money.

The location was great. Could reach the centre and the basketball matches easily. The room I got was spacious and clean. The bed was top soft for me. It was also calm and silent even on a Saturda evening

Room had everything I needed, dishes, utensils, cups for tea. Bathroom was spacious, if you're doing some elaborate makeup/body painting/cosplay pick room 5D. There's makeup table with lights, mirror and everything. In my travels I haven't seen bathroom like this. You could even do test fit for wings on your cosplay there. Getting there by public transit is easy, there's direct tram from Svinov train station there and bus from main train station. But I recommend Svinov instead of main train station.

I got what I paid for and was value for money. I had a room with private bathroom. it was very quiet so I was undisturbed which I value greatly. fridge and fan in room,both were needed.

Absolutely everything. Such a beautiful place, the decor is done to a high standard and having a private jacuzzi is always a bonus! Fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine, washing machine in the bathroom too if needed. Since there's no reception I was to check in online which I misunderstood for confirming arriving time and hence didn't receive the code for getting into the property. I was, however, able to contact the remote reception and the situation was swiftly resolved, extremely helpful staff.

Perfect for self catering. Central location with easy walking to supermarket ,local attractions and restaurants. The heating was amazing, and provided instant hot water. Bedrooms were spacious and beds extremely comfortable. Beautiful decor, well maintained. Kitchen equipment more than adequate. Everything was good quality

The apartment is so huge! We especially loved the location (there are so many trams to the city center which takes only 5 minutes) and how safe the neighbourhood felt. The cafe next door (A cafe) had amazing breakfast too. Especially loved the jacuzzi and sauna and heated bathroom floors. The owner was very prompt in answering our questions and the fresh flowers were also a nice touch. Thank you also for the toys and cot which helped my baby adjust to the place a lot quicker. Best place I've stayed at on bookings.com!

We stayed in the large apartment with the standing bathtub. It's very spacious, the bed is comfortable, the host left coffee pods for the espresso machine and tea, which is nice.

The apartment was spacious, clean and in a good location. There is some untimed free parking out, we managed to find one but it was a bit of luck as it gets quite busy. When we arrived we sent the host a message and he met us at the front door. He was very friendly, told us where some restaurants were and showed us the apartment. We enjoyed our stay and the sauna was a bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was like expected, we highly recommend the place. Ivo was a fast responder and a easy going person. The room was clean and neat. Thank you for the coffee, Ivo. It was not like an expresso but very good and we appreciate the idea of finding some small things in the house. The bar in front of the house was the perfect place to stop by before leaving.

I wanted to get a good sleep in a quiet environment and I like to eat good breakfast in the morning so I have energy for teaching all day and Vila Landek was even better than I expected! Clean, quiet, comfortable, delicious, helpful are just some words that describe my stay. Highly recommend!

The property was fabulous nestled among the forest and beautiful well maintained grounds with a great view to city. The property had lots of character and very quaint. The bedroom was beautiful and bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also beautiful, large and had good quality shampoo and conditioner. The shower was perfect. In this property there are some little extra touches that may it so adorable. It is also very clean. We loved it! Photos on booking.com true to accommodation.

The room was very nicely decorated, warm beautiful light and even more things than expected like a small fridge and a good quality coffee maker also TV with many many movies and series available. The bathroom has all you need.the bed was very large and comfortable. Overall we felt very comfortable in this place too bad we could stay only one day. The parking is large and feels very safe and private.

We spent a great time in Zamek Zabreh. Their service is super nice, rooms are clean, spacious and very well decorated. Breakfast is simple, but delicious. Zamek has a cozy restaurant where you can try tradition Czech cuisine and enjoy their in-house produced beer. You can also buy some beer cosmetics of decent quality at the reception. We will definitely come back!

This is a very memorable hotel. It really is in a very old building that has been sympathetically restored. The rooms are spacious and airy with high ceilings. The bed was comfy and the environment was quiet. The little restaurant served some good local beer and food. The staff were lovely. They offered parking behind the locked gates for the motorbikes which was appreciated.

Fully equipped small room NR.6. Very comfortable for one person, not sure if the room is suitable for 2 adults. Breakfast was OK. I went for dinner in local restaurant. Without reservation was problem to get table inside. I ate outside. Food was great.

Cons: No blinds or curtains on the room window No tea kettle or coffee in the room No fridge Back breaking beds :( Run down, dodgy neighbourhood. Bleach stains all over the carpets in the hallway and in the room. Carpets = Yuck! Wifi didn’t work at times. Not good if you have important work on-line to do. For those from North America, it’s comparable to a Days Inn, Travelodge, or Knights Inn. Not luxury, but good for a night or two. I still recommend though, simply because of the amazing Ludvik and Carina!

Newly reconstructed hotel with beautiful spacious clean design rooms in a quiet area, walkable distance from the main train station (about 5 minutes). The bed was really comfy, we had such a great & deserved sleep! I personally was very pleased about the nice big bathtub, too! The receptionist was so lovely and helpful! Hotel seems to be reconstructed, modern furniture. It also offers free private parking behind gate, which is nice as there are quite a lot of gypsies in Ostrava. We came by car but it is also very convenient for coming by train as it is placed very close to the main train station. WiFi is working. There is a nice Loft restaurant at the ground level where breakfast is served as well. Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, sausages and some cold buffet. We liked it. Colours of Ostrava festival has sort of became a tradition for us so we have tried couple of hotels already. Usually it was a communist-times-like looking rooms and we were ok with it for the festival. NOT in this hotel, pleasant surprise. Although from the photos here on TripAdvisor I can see some rooms have that old-times look. Not sure if they are just old photos or not all the rooms have been renovated. There is a direct tram to get to the Colours by the way.

There are several nice cafes and restaurants a few minutes walk and the hotel is just 10 minutes walk from the centre and about 20 minutes from the Karolina shopping centre. I enjoyed my five nights and certainly will stay there again.

Absolutely superb customer service above all - my flight (and therefore train connection) was delayed but the communication with the receptionist (Lily) was fantastic. She made sure I got detailed description how to enter the property after check in hours which took a lot of pressure off. Very nice welcome from the manager/owner in the morning coming down for a breakfast, very friendly and tentative. Great location near the river and city centre, definitely check out the DOCK bar about 10mins walk along the river.

This place was amazing! The house is beautiful and the staff super friendly. We couldn't have asked for more! We would've loved to have been able to stay here for a longer time. Oh, and the espresso at breakfast - one of the best cups of coffee ever! If you wanna feel like retro royalty, this is the place to go!

Perfect place outside the centre of Ostrava for an overnight stay on a business trip. Travelling by car, there was a car park located in front of the hotel and without charge. The Hotel itself along with the room were very nice and clean. It has a good little restaurant next door but within the same building, perfect for dinner. Bedding and WIFI was great. Bathroom, nicely tiled and appealing. If anything, the rooms were a little warm but it should be noted that I did not make an attempt to adjust this. And to cap off the stay, Breakfast was superb. Having stayed at other establishments in Ostrava, I can safely say, for my value of my corporate allowance, I will definitely be returning.

ivm de Corona was ik een van de weinige gasten. Het hotel is ver van het centrum van Ostrava gelegen en dat is niet handig als het eigen restaurant dicht is. Er waren geen afhaal gelegenheden in de directe omgeving, dus moet ik op zoek met de auto naar eten, letterlijk. De 2 geadviseerde restaurants in het centrum waren beiden gesloten. En dat is een punt van verbetering, als je eigen restaurant gesloten is, zorg dan voor een fatsoenlijk afhaal alternatief voor je klanten, dan wel een plek dat gegarandeerd open is. Er was in het hotel niet eens een biertje te krijgen, ook niet een flesje en dat had niets met Corona te maken. Het ontbijt werd geserveerd in het restaurant en was goed. De sauna in het hotel was dicht ivm Corona, terwijl andere hotels deze voor een enkele gast gewoon even op aanvraag open doen. Mijn kamer was gewoon basic, iets meer ruimte was fijn geweest.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We had booked a suite. As a very pleasant surprise came staff at the breakfast and dinner time in the restaurant. Very friendly, attentive and helpful . Also big compliment to chefs as food we had for dinner was not short of fine dining experience :) Room was fine. Beds were not bad but not the best either. It was very hot in the room as it was hot outside already. But AC was not working and I was told its switched off as its not summer yet. I found it extremely unprofessional as 4stars hotel means working AC. Receptionist was unfriendly when I asked to switch it on. I was told only GM or technician could do that...... We found it very bizarre We wanted to open the windows though but they were extremely dirty...... However thanks to ladies and gentlemen at restaurant we would come back anytime :)

I loved everything about this hotel. I'd booked an AirBnB for my time in Ostrava, but it unfortunately left much to be desired, so I opted to stay at the Mercure instead. Having stayed at Mercure hotels in other countries, I knew what to expect, and this hotel didn't disappoint. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the room was very spacious, well-appointed, and clean. I was lucky enough to be given a room opposite a church, so I was treated to the sound of the church bells every hour and every half-hour, which was delightful. I also celebrated my birthday during my stay at the Mercure, and the manager brought a lovely little birthday tart to my room to wish me a happy birthday. It was completely unexpected but spoke volumes about not only the staff, but the Mercure hotel chain in general. That simple gesture meant a great deal to me.

On any other day, I'd say it's 10/10 experience. There's also a large parking lot in front of the building, so we could easily leave our car there. The restaurant was amazing, serving delicious food at very reasonable prices. Also kudos for the breakfast - there was a large choice of bot savoury and sweet food.

We arrived very late, and the restaurant was closed, but the staff made us a very nice snack which we gratefully had together with delicious home-drafted beer. This was a wonderful service that was very much appreciated. Breakfast was huge and very tasty: We could choose a warm meal from the menu, plus we were given yogurt and pastry, fruit juice and a warm drink. The restaurant staff was helpful and friendly. Parking was directly in front of the hotel on the public square. The air conditioning worked very well despite the heat wave that the region was experiencing. There is also a very interesting castle/museum just a few steps away from the hotel.

After my third stay at the Hotel Silesia there are a few good reasons that I continue to return. The Hotel is situated right on the old town square, the food and bar on site offer a great variety and outstanding value for money, the rooms are large and the bedding incredibly comfortable. The Hotel oozes history but has all the modern conveniences. The staff are very responsive and cope very well with my lack of Czeck language skills. Granted Frydek-Mistek may not be the most exciting town but if you're on route between Prague and Krakow and want a charming local experience and a quiet room give Hotel Silesia a try.

We came to Frydek-Mistek for an art exhition opening held at the old castle. The hotel is only 2 minute walking distance away, excellent location. The town square is sleepy but charming. The breakfast at the hotel was included in the rate. The menu was comprehensive, and the serving portion was good. We enjoyed it. The shower was good. The size of the room was very big for two of us. The receptionists were very friendly, cheerful and helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay! I came for one night for the Czech language exam that is held near at school. Hotel hosts were very friendly and supportive, gave me good recommendations about the city. The room was very very clean and nice. It had all you can need: hairdryer, towels, kettle, small fridge, tv, glasses and mugs. As a bonus you can feel very cozy and comfy with the electric fireplace and choose the color of your lights in the room to create relaxing atmosphere :) I also ordered breakfast additionally and it was very good, it had eggs, bread, sausages, fruits, coffee, sweet bakery, really a lot and delicious too. The room itself was really nice. If I would be traveling to Ostrava for any other reason I would stay here. And of course it was such a good value for money. Overall I felt very homey vibe :) and for others who come here for the exam, of course the location near the school is a plus. On the day of my exam it was raining so hotel owners offered us a car ride free of charge. It was so nice of them to take care of us. I will always remember their kindness and wish them the best :)

Stayed here from 4th to 7th of October 2024. Great location on the edge of Ostrava city centre. 10 mins walk to the city centre. Well run hotel by a nice couple who make a lot of effort to make sure you have a nice stay. We tried the breakfast one morning and it was very nice and good value for money, brought up to our room on a tray for us! 😀 We stayed in the top floor with a twin room (very clean) , it had its own separate bathroom and separate toilet room, it felt like a mini apartment, even had a proper fridge for your food and drinks plus kettle and tea+coffee! . Very quiet, hardly hear any noise from the street outside. Central heating worked well to keep us warm as was a bit chilly outside for early October. Free parking in the car park but we arrived by public transport from the airport so didn't need parking this time. Best hotel in Ostrava for price-Quality ratio. We will likely stay again for our next visit to Ostrava in 2025.

The owners are great and very helpful. They have a variety of different rooms, we have stayed in 3 different rooms there in separate occasions,all of them are unique with private bathrooms and hardly hear any street noise from the rooms, especially at the rear of the building-very quiet! Besa are very comfortable. The rooms are always clean and the TV and WiFi is always working well! The price is the best in Ostrava unless you want less quality! Free car park but only 10 mins walk to city centre through a lovely park. We came by public transport from Airport last two visits, very easy to get around by foot and public transport

We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of this hotel! We booked it last minute when other accommodation was cancelled by its owner. Our room was spacious, quiet and spotlessly clean (the bathroom too). We arrived later than the regular check-in hours but this wasn't a problem, we were checked in by a polite and helpful receptionist. The breakfast was very good: there was a selection of bread, cold meats and cheeses, fruit and veggies, sweet and savoury pastries, milk and musli, scrambled eggs and sausages - whatever type of breakfast you like. The hotel is not in the centre of Ostrava but if you travel by car like we did, that's not a problem. Also, the parking is right in front of the hotel.

I recently stayed at Hotel Akord in Ostrava and I'm extremely satisfied with my stay. The feature that stood out the most to me was the variety and quality of food, which was simply exquisite. I really enjoyed the breakfast. Moreover, I noticed that the value I received greatly surpassed the price I paid for the stay. The rooms were comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel's location was convenient for exploring Ostrava. A clean, friendly, comfortable hotel offering excellent value and a very copious breakfast, located out of the centre but on bus routes and near tram lines.

Really nice place and really nice staff! Hotel is in quiet part of the city, so there is no unnecessary noise from the outside! Staff is really friendly and they always have a big smile when you see them! :D Overall nice place if you don't want to be near city centar and a lot of people, but still close enough so you can walk your way to most of the things. The room was cleen, with fresh sheets and towels. Bathroom was cleaned and sanitized right before our arival! Brekfeast was nice, a lot of options, from fruits, to meet, breads, and coffee! And every day you can expect something different. Hotel offers a self check-in before arival, so we were in our room in a metter of minutes.

Pleasant hotel with reasonably sizeable rooms. Breakfast buffet was quite varied and changed every day, which was pleasing. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is a bit out of town, it's within ten minutes' walking distance of a tram stop with direct service into the city centre and the two main train stations.

We were transiting through the Czech Republic to Austria and this hotel in Ostrava was perfect for us as it was on the way. The hotel is located in a student dormitory, but was easy to find. We had a 2-room suite - comfortable, clean and tidy. Comfortable beds. The breakfast on the second morning was also good.

Very very comfy beds and pillows, free and safe parking, good breakfast (but just don't wait something amazing, it's just university camp). Spacious room and private bathroom. Notice: we stayed at the start of august (school vacay) and it was very quite!

Very close to Ostrava-Stodolni train station (300 m of walking) and also close to city center (7-800 m from Masaryk square) The room was clean, very quiet (as it was oriented towards the inner yard) and ok in size. No problems whatsoever with the hot water, as I've read in other comments around here. The breakfast was good enough for normal people (eggs, sausages, scrambled eggs, bacon vegetables, butter, jam, milk, cakes, cereals, nuts, juice, etc) and with good coffee.

Very nice and helpful receptionists. Rich buffet breakfast with glutenfree options or for diabetics. Clean.

The Park Inn in Ostrava is a modern hotel in the city. It's a few minutes outside the city center but you can walk it in about 15 minutes. The hotel is well kept, has a decent fitness center and a great jacuzzi. Breakfast is really great with lots of fruits and meat options.

I recently spent a week here and found the hotel to be very clean and comfortable. The room was quiet and well-kept. The bed was just right, not too hard and not too soft. The bathroom was spotless. There were plenty of outlets and the lighting was more than sufficient. Reception was businesslike and professional. The breakfast offered had plenty of choices and was quite filling, especially as it was sometimes my only meal of the day. The only negatives were that the room was sometimes too hot and when ordering from the set menu in the restaurant at dinner, they were unwilling to accommodate dietary restrictions, telling us that no changes could be made. I would readily stay here again should my travels take me back to Ostrava in the future.

Quality Hotel Ostrava is definitely a hotel I would stay at for future sporting events or a personal visit to the region. The hotel, while seemingly in the middle of nowhere, has a bus stop directly in front of it, a small grocery store across the street, and a reasonable walk into the city centre for restaurants and night life. It was clean and very up-to-date in terms of decor and furniture. The hotel was amazing, welcoming more than 100+ athletes. They were gracious and patient at the front desk with questions and requests. The only difficulty we encountered was with breakfast. Breakfast was outstanding. Good food, fresh, well-prepared and so much variety... but, don’t ask for anything outside of the menu or service provided. Team mates with food restrictions had a ‘hit and miss’ experience. Some staff were great. Other wait staff (two women in particular) were just down right rude and snarky (note that I am using kinder words than I would like here). Perhaps cultural, but staff should understand that 1) travellers with dietary restrictions have a difficult time travelling, and 2) athletes have strict diets will be demanding... including in terms of the hours at which they hope to be able to eat. I hope the hotel better trains their service staff to welcome sporting groups with ease, comfort and preferably a smile. I would happily stay here again... but hope to be treated a bit better in their dining room.

The hotel itself is lovely. It is fairly new and well-maintained. In terms of service, the staff at the front desk was friendly. Our room was not cleaned two of the three days that we were there, but the front desk was very gracious in terms of providing clean towels. We were in Ostrava for Colours so we did leave the room late one day but the maid was still servicing rooms on the second day when we left so she should have been to clean the second day. But, otherwise, the room was comfortable and the bathroom was quite large. There is not much around the hotel in terms of shops or restaurants. Walking to downtown Ostrava takes about 15 minutes but the hotel is a bit isolated. There is a Hruška supermarket across the street if you wish to stock up on basics that is open everyday if you need some groceries or do not have breakfast included.

Stayed for 1 night restaurant and bar great food good drinks good Latisha bar is fine. Car parking have to pay for. Not far from station Wi-fi good all over hotel. Rooms good but could be a little cleaner. Modern bathrooms but My bathroom floor was dirty. My feet dirtier after shower than before. The staff are very friendly and helpful English is very high standard. Not bad hotel good value..

My room had a window facing the backyard, so there was no noise from the street (on the day I stayed here, the Christmas market started, so there were a lot of people around the hotel, and there was an ice rink right in front of the hotel, where loud music played). Check in and check out were quick and without any problems. The equipment of my room seemed a bit older, it seemed to me like a hotel room from the nineties, the kind you can see in movies from that time. The furniture was older and very simple, the bathroom small, the bed quite soft for my taste. It was clean here. I had breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The offer was wide and everything I had was tasty. The ambience of the restaurant was very pleasant. Hotel and restaurant staff were nice and helpful.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was excellent. The room was functional, clean and comfortable. The centre of the city was close by and getting to and from the airport and station was easy and convenient.

The breakfast was delicious and had the ammount of options you would expect from a normal hotel breakfast. The staff was friendly. We really liked that there was always someone in the lobby, we felt really safe because of that. Eventhough it felt like not everybody spoke at least some English the communication with staff always worked out. The hotel is located near 2 tram and bus stops. Getting arround was very easy and comfortable. The walk from the stations to the hotel is short and safe, at least during the day and on busy days like the festival time. The hotel is definitely a good place to stay for Colours: good to reach by tram, safe, nice rooms and good breakfast. There is also a nice supermarket just arround the corner.

Location of this hotel is excellent with tram stop few metes away and not far from central Ostrava. Ostrava train station is also within walking distance. WiFi is good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok. Rooms are very clean.

The room was fairly size. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and appliances new and easy to use. The breakfast is basic, no complaints from me. Taken the price into account, the value for money ratio is very good. Just outside the hotel there a tram stop with quite a few connections, so you can get to Poruba or to Dolni Vitkovice. This also means it easy to get back after an evening in ex. Stodolni street, if you don't feel comfortable walking the 1,5 km to the hotel. So if you are the type that don't need a restaurant or a bar where you stay, Hotel Nikolas is a good choice.

The property is located a short walk from the city center. It was convenient to park and easy to find. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast spread was great.

The hotel is in a quiet street, but public transportation to city center and supermarkets are only a few hundred meters away. Very kind staff, good communication even though they speak little English. Excellent home-made breakfast. Parking space in the courtyard. Clean room and spotless clean, modern bathroom. Cute pre-Christmas decoration.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Considering the property, there was a very good breakfast choice and personnel working in the breakfast room were very helpful. I was there for a festival so needed just a room and shower which was very basic but super clean. Had a lovely view over festival site (National monument Vitkovice area) and Beskydy mountains on the horizon.

Double bed Executive Room - brand newly refurbished, modern, super comfy and spacious. Great bed... Overall a great experience exceeding the hotel category. Coffe / tea / kettle / fridge (not minibar) available.

Room was renovated as well as inside of the building. My iniatial room that was reserved was not renovated as I saw after booking but thankfully thwy gave me a better room. I hope that they dont that old room to anyone as it didnt look good at all. However theybsaid they give me a better room and it was very good. The room size a bit small though but bed and tolilet was clean and bed was the best part. Ot was very comfortable.

Lovely place on the edge of the lake with a nice garden and outside seating. Room compact but adequate with nice bed linen. Beer good and food tasty with very large helpings. Staff very helpful and friendly though their English not very good. Breakfast delicious. I loked this place.

Brioni Hotel is a good hotel not far by tram from the Hlavni Nadrazi (main train station). One can take the tram right outside the station and get off at the stodolni tram stop. The hotel is half a block from there. The hotel served a complete breakfast (very nice) even though my reservation said breakfast was NOT included. The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. The room on the second floor (3rd by American standards) was clean and the bathroom was exceptional. I opened the window for fresh, cool air, but air conditioning was provided as well. I would recommend this hotel for younger adults who like to party and come in rather late at night because Stodolni street is extremely noisy well into the morning. I slept through it, but some might not. The bed was very firm.

Engaging and friendly staff. Clean, functional and comfy rooms .Rooms have a lockable safe. Buffet breakfast has reasonable hot and cold selection. Trams from bus station and railway station stop at the end of the street. Good value for the prices available. The location is in Ostrava's main nightlife area so can be busy late into the night around the weekend.

The balcony was a nice touch. Good restaurants in the area. Breakfast could be better - food looked like it was left from the day before and the bread was stale. The coffee machine needs to be cleaned as it spews milk all over (lumps of milk) when you get cappuccino. The man at the front desk was very helpful and friendly.

The hotel was clean, and the room was very spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The location was great as well since it was located in the middle of all the restaurants in Ostrava and close to the city square.

Great little B&B in Frydek-Mistek that is centrally located and a short walk from the town square. Friendly staff that speaks English and open to offering suggestions for local restaurants, etc. Rooms were very clean and cleaned daily on a daily basis. No issues with the WiFi in comparison to some of the other reviews mentioned. As not much of a breakfast person, I can't really say much to this point. My only suggestion for improvement would be to replace the single use packets of shampoo and soap with a dispenser. Otherwise will book again when in the area.

Terrific value and staff. Superb breakfast too! Very close to "Colors," "Beats for Love," and "Ostrava v Plamenech" festivals, and others in the "Dolni Vitkovice" festival area. Right on tram lines. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They are available 24-hours, as is a small menu of snacks and drinks. Staff is helpful with answering questions sent by email / message. Great location near the festival area. Right on tram lines to either of the Ostrava main stations (Hl. N., Svinov). Quite close (3 tram stops or so) to shopping mall, downtown and nightclub areas. A few more to the stations. Really good value for the rooms, which are super clean and have everything in working order. Excellent, comfy beds and linens. Shower good water pressure and super clean. Toilet / sink in great working order always. I usually bring a fan in the summer, which helps adjust the temperature with rooms that face the morning sun. (Also blocks out morning tram noise from that side).

Hotel's location and the welcoming staff. Small fridge, electric kettle, microwave oven and hairdryer in the room I stayed in. Large cupboard and shelves to store my belongings. Bedding and towels were clean. Buffet breakfast at CZK 170 per person was okay for the price.

Just a few tram stops away from Ostravar Arena. If (and when) the public transport is crammed after a big event, you can also consider taking a walk back to the hotel. Nice and clean. Our room had a bathtub. The staff was helpful.

The location is not bad and only about 10 minutes walk from the Nova Karolina shopping centre. I think there might even be a bus connection nearby but I didn't use it. Room was large and spacious and the bathroom was clean and comfortable. The hotel provided the invoice that I requested without any problems.

The breakfast was very good, your staff were all very friendly and helpful. As it was my first stay in Ostrova I cannot comment on location as I left there 11am next day. But I did find a small cafe that was fine for passing time.

The most convenient location when attending the multifunctional hall nearby and need to stay over. Clean, comfy and good shower; towels and toiletries provided.

It is a unique accommodation within the Dolni Vitkovice site. It is not a fancy pace, but the room is big enough, clean and with a table for working or reading. What I particularly liked was the noise (not loud, but audible) from factories nearby, an unusual experience. The another big advantage with staying in this hotel is that you will get 20% off the entrance to the Dolni Vitkovice site. The receptionists spoke only a bit of English, but they were friendly. I also liked the breakfast, served personally to the room.

Staff were extremely polite, and helpful, even though they're English wasn't great, they made a real effort to understand and help when they could.

The hotel is in a great location; a 10 min walk away from a big shopping mall and the Karvina train station, and 3 min away from the bus stop. Staff are friendly and helpful. Amenities are great, very clean, comfy, spacious and accommodating of pets. I stayed with my cats and other guests had their dogs with them. It was a very pleasant experience and definitely good value for money.

Bit of a strange place, it's situated in a leisure centre, with an ice hockey stadium right next to the rooms. Staff were nice, breakfast ok, lots of facilities, had an excellent gym which I used on my 2nd morning. Location pretty good, situated close to both the Old town square and the train station.

The breakfast was amazing. I was there second time and the staff was even remembered what I liked last time and asked me if I will get same one:) Staffs are very kind and nice. The room was very spacious.

Great location, clean and our unit was very nice. Comfortable beds and good quality bed linen. It was very quiet there and we enjoyed our stay.

I got excellent cakes for my wife. Perfect sausages for breakfast..

All was good, even late self-check-in was arranged. We stayed 1 night, place was nice, comfortable, beautiful view to main square and palace.

For us it was good option to stay overnight and rest when we been travelling through Ostrava. Late check in was ok. Bar serving beer. It was clean and comfortable.

Staff was so nice and everything was so clean. Breakfast was very good.
