Tiki Shores is the perfect location with a beautiful view at a great price. The suites are spacious, clean and with an 'oh so comfortable' bed and jacuzzi to relax!! As well, a restaurant right next door to Tiki Shore Registration desk. What more can a person ask for?

I got upgraded for free in the pent house suite with a jacuzzi! It was a great deal and great location. Everything was nice and clean. Having a patio with a bbq was very nice. The pool looked nice but I never used it. Rishita hooked me up with this deal- thank you!

Tiki Shores had amazing front desk service. This was the first time we had stayed here. It felt like our questions were being answered by someone who was actually concerned that our family had the best stay that they could offer. The beach is right across the road from the hotel. The Cambo Beach Restaurant that is attached to Tiki Shores had great food and friendly staff. Great walking paths along the beach and pet friendly too 👍.

Huge suite-too big for the two of us. The front room overlooked the pub-restaurant, but not too noisy at all. Bed was a queen, would have liked a king for a penthouse suite, was quite comfortable though. balcony was private with no one else coming by as it looked over the restaurant. Beach across the street-so amazing!. Didn't use the pool since the beach was closer.

Tiki Shores was the perfect spot for our weekend vacation. The location was amazing, 20 seconds from the beach. The staff was extremely helpful, and the room was clean. They gave us sheets so we could bring our bikes into the room for safe storage and that was really appreciated. We didn’t have kids with us this trip but we would absolutely go back with our young kids on the next trip.

The staff were awesome. They went out of their way to be helpful even when we accidentally left an item in our room and they had to interupt another guest to retrieve it. The rooms were clean and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet, affording a great nights sleep every night we stayed. Thank you for making our trip awesome.

We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by a really nice lady. She told us all about the restaurants and facilities in the area. She recommended places and things to do in penticton. What a treat it was to have someone knowledgeable available. The room was very clean and fresh. We were very comfortable. Sorry we could not stay longer, but we will return for sure.

The motel was great! It was a great location and easy to walk to the beach. The staff was great and helped us immediately when we had a leaky sink. The kids had fun in the games room and the room was clean and the bed comfy.

Well kept and lovely remodelled rooms. super comfy King size bed with oversized tub to soak in. Restaurant on site with good food and Happy Hours- pool and jacuzzi which I was unable to use but will definitely be the next stay. outdoor fire feature which was also very pretty.

The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning was great. The bathroom was really nice and had a jacuzzi tub, wasn't expecting that.

King suite room had large soaker jacuzzi tub perfect for Epsom salt soak in this cold weather. Bed & pillows very comfortable for a good night's rest.

I had a great stay at the Fairfield in Penticton. The hotel feels very new and modern, and everything was spotless—from the lobby to the rooms. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the center of town and close to restaurants and attractions, which made it really convenient. The staff were one of the highlights for me. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made the stay feel comfortable and relaxed. Breakfast was good and had all the basics you’d expect—hot items, cereals, and waffles. The only thing I’d suggest is changing up the options a bit from day to day. If you’re staying for a longer time, it can get too repetitive. Overall, this is a very clean, comfortable, and well-run hotel with excellent service. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Penticton.

I recently stayed for one night at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott and had a generally positive experience. The hotel was very clean, and everything seemed new and well-maintained. The staff were courteous and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was good, with a variety of options. There was convenient free parking available and free EV stations for electric vehicles, and electric scooters were available for rent to explore the nearby area. The hotel is very close to the casino, about a 5-minute drive to the beach, and near the lazy river. There was a 24-hour coffee and tea station for guests, and we were welcomed with cold water at the reception. The hotel has a gym and a pool, we did not use these facilities. Although check-in time was officially 3 PM, we were pleasantly surprised to be allowed to check in at noon.

Great hotel!! We were driving Camaros down at Area 27 in Oliver, 40 minutes south of Penticton, and this hotel was the perfect place to act as our base. Plenty of restaurants near by, including a casino across the road where your room key can get you discounts on food there. Hotel itself was clean, big comfortable room. Very nice bed and all the usual conveniences: coffee maker, safe, hair dryer, fridge, tv. Hotel has a pool and hot tub. Free daily breakfast. Hotel is right in the Okanagan valley so beautiful area for hiking, lakes, biking etc. Great place to stay!!

Property and rooms are clean and well maintained. Nice little courtyard to sit and visit or eat breakfast, BBQ's available for guest use as well. Pool was a bit too chilly but with the beach nearby not a big deal. Estelle is so friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed and her complimentary wagons to haul stuff to the beach were much appreciated. Location is great with close proximity to the Skaha beach, a great Japanese restaurant across the street, and shopping all within walking distance. Unfortunately i did not take pictures of motel but have a picture of our walk to the beach, which has a lot of green space to picnic, a playground, restaurant, ice cream store etc. We enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Everything was newly renovated, clean, and comfortable. Real mugs for coffee and very nice coffee too. The new shower heads are excellent and all new bedding. I was really impressed. I loved being so close to Skaha bluffs, a short walk to coffee and breakfast. And the owner is charming and friendly! She's done a lot of work and it shows!

This Motel stood out in the sea of Motels in the area. Well kept and and so cute with decor and attention to details. I am so glad we stayed here. It’s newly renovated and under new ownership for about a year and a half. Estelle the owner and her staff were courteous and kind from the moment we arrived. Our suite had a fully equipped kitchen ( we didn’t partake as we ate out; but perfect for travelling families or people on a budget to cook all meals at the motel) brand new beds and linens as well as fixtures in the bathroom and kitchen. Good AC units when needed too. Great outdoor spaces with BBQ’s you can use, a great well kept and clean pool with a mole seating and patio seating areas for you to enjoy the property. It’s located on the Skaha Lake side which we found to be nice and less busy and quiet overall. Only a 5 minute walk and a few minute drive to Skaha Lake. Close to convenience stores and some local restaurants too. No concerns with loud party type crowds and quiet time and guests visiting time ends at 11pm. It’s a 5 minute drive to downtown and to the Okanagan Lake side of town. I would stay here again 100% we felt so comfortable and were pleased with the whole experience. Thank you again Estelle and the whole Empire Motel staff for a lovely stay!

Friendly and very welcoming staff. We were in Penticton for the Gran Fondo race and it was the perfect stay for the weekend. The room was exceptionally clean, quiet, and spacious with a full kitchen. It was a short walk or drive to all amenities. It was a short drive to the race start or a 15 minute ride to the start. Lake was super close too. Pool was lovely especially with the heat in the Okanagan. It is obvious the owner is attentive to guests enjoying their stay. Highly recommend this adorable motel.

A true hidden gem! This charming little motel exceeded all expectations. The beach-inspired decor is fresh and welcoming, and the room was spotless with every convenience thoughtfully provided. The lavender pillow spray was such a lovely touch - it made the whole experience feel extra special. The outdoor garden area is a peaceful oasis, complete with a cozy fire table and a swinging chair perfect for relaxing. The woman who checked us in was warm, friendly, and so helpful. And the access to a private beach area? An absolute bonus. We loved everything about our stay and will highly recommend to all our friends!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The unending supply fresh off their tree apricots was a real treat. The unit we stayed in had been completely renovated and was very clean. Air conditioning was welcome and necessary to escape the heat of the summer day and a ceiling fan in the bedroom was lovely to cool the room while we slept. Great location and perfect quiet shade area at the back for a picnic or just to sit with coffee and read.

Lakeside Villa & Nordic Spa is a gem. Everything was great during our 4-day stay. Both rooms we booked were very clean (I booked 3 days first, then added 1 more day and had to move rooms - staff made the move really easy on us). Customer service at the inn is outstanding, staff and owners very friendly & going extra mile to help. The owners make sure the guests feel like at home, and we did. I loved the small nice touches like tooth brush holder, salt & pepper shakers, etc. Both rooms had fully equipped, very clean kitchen. The rooms are newly renovated, and beds are very comfortable. There is large & comfy BBQ area onsite, and private access to a beach on Skaha Lake. Next time I will make sure to use their Nordic Spa - it looks awesome. Thank you for making our stay so nice, and I am looking forward staying at the inn again next year.

We had a great stay here. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the vibe was super chill and laid back, the beds were comfortable and the private beach was amazing. We loved that we could have a fire on the beach. The back area of property had a nice spot to relax. A gas fireplace, lots of places to sit and a BBQ free to use! Our kids were made to feel welcome and even given freebies!!*Score!* Overall, amazing stay! Highly recommend

The rooms are nicely renovated and clean and well equipped. Both of the owners that I spoke to were welcoming and very helpful. It's nice to see a small locally owned motel that cares about its guests. There is a nice yard/patio area with seating and BBQs, and it really is a short walk to a very nice private beach area. There's even a small pub (Beach Cider) and a local ice cream place a very short walk away. Lakeside will be my new go to place to stay when I visit my family in Penticton.

Rooms have been renovated and are now very modern, sparkling clean & comfortable. The staff are very friendly & helpful. Proximity to the beach front & lake excellent, with the beach front restaurants surrounding the property.

The property is a “vintage” motel that has been very tastefully redone. In fact, the vintage aspect was really charming and the location to the lake and beach was superb for an early morning swim. The hotel is well maintained and welcome. The rooms were very impressive - modern, super clean and beds were very comfy. The attached bar/restaurant (sociale) is a highlight…with a beach/lake facing deck, great food and wine and super service! Great communication from the hotel, with efficient and easy check-in. Highly recommend.

Everything! We were allocated an upper-level room for 2 nights. This older style but quaint building was set back with a view of Lake Okanagan. It was peaceful. The room was very clean and comfortable, very well equipped and nicely decorated. Bed comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Would love to stay here again.

Location is perfect, right across from Okanagan beach and there's a great restaurant right beside the motel (Sociale Ristorante). The rooms are fairly basic but very clean and nicely decorated. Bed and pillows were comfortable, sheets were good (I'm very fussy about those things!). Water pressure in the shower was also good AND the shower head is installed nice and high for tall people. Good reading lamps. The staff were working offsite but their communication was GREAT. They texted me every day, checking in to see if my stay was going well or if there was anything I needed. When I texted them, they responded immediately.

Location location! Beautiful motel steps from the beach, well appointed rooms and helpful staff. Loved the on site restaurant as well. Love that beach towels are available in office and that you can park right out front your room. Also a good sized patio with chairs. The common area was really well kept and clean with comfy chairs and a fire pit.

The property was so beautiful! It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Each room is spacious with really nice furniture and linens. The attached bathroom was modern and immaculate. The hosts did a fantastic job of making us feel at home. The verandah has many places to sit and enjoy the view or talk with other guests. Breakfast was amazing every morning, with lots of variety. We will be back for sure!

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Harvelle House BnB! Harvey and Eleanor were amazing hosts, sharing both their home and farm property with their guests. The house was purposely built as a B&B, ensuring our room, the breakfast area, as well as the outdoor porches all took in the spectacular mountain views, as well as the expanse of their 13 acre farm. And if you appreciate horses, you'll be delighted to meet the two resident Clydesdales! And apart from the warm hospitality of our hosts, the pièce de résistance is their incredibly delicious breakfasts! Always fresh and over the top creative, yet home made, your morning meal will get you through both breakfast AND lunch!! Just too good a gem to be true! 💖

The property and hosts were amazing. Our room was large with 2 queen sized beds. Also had 2 reading chairs where you could cozy up and look out over the property. Breakfasts were amazing. 5 people staying here at this time were doing a 80k bike tour, we had to leave early in the morning before the scheduled breakfast time. Our hosts accommodated us with an earlier breakfast time and the food was fabulous. The hosts were very friendly and suggested a variety of things to do and see in the area. I would give this property a 10 out 10 and will definitely come back.

The Harvelle House is by far the very best bnb we have stayed at!! From the amazing property to the amazing breakfasts. Each day of breakfast was different. From Avocado Toast with poached egg, eggs Benedict to waffles. Always fresh fruit. Eleanor and Harvey were exceptional hosts. The property was amazing with a pair of Clydesdales to boot! I can go on and on. We already booked our next stay in September!!

Beautiful B & B. Lovely location, comfy bed, soft linens, spacious room, extremely clean and delicious breakfasts served every morning. Hosts are welcoming and friendly. This was my second visit and I will return again for all the a/n reasons! Highly recommend.

Location right on the beach is good, two blocks from Saturday Farmers Market in the park, coffee shop, bars, restaurants and cinema within walking distance. There are, however, no decent convenience stores or supermarkets closeby. $25 to get there by taxi from the airport. Bruce at reception was very helpful. Room was acceptably (not exceptionally) clean. Cleaning lady Rose was very obliging. Great that the room is equipped with A/C, microwave, fridge, kettle and coffee/tea machine, cable tv, clock, shower & bath, a hair-dryer. Very good hot, plentiful, powerful water supply (but as per other reviews - it disappears from time to time when others turn on taps). Lots of towels supplied. The bed and range of pillows were comfortable. Couldn't get into the laundry but it seemed reasonably priced. Didn't find the room and linen to be as old and worn as some reviews indicated.

The location is just a steps away from the beach . We’ve had one bedroom with two double beds kitchen and living room bathroom. Kitchen was good size it was equipped with everything you need to make small meals,breakfast etc . It was just perfect for me and my two granddaughters. The staff was very friendly and helpful constantly asking if you need anything my coffee maker wasn’t working when we got there but they gave me new one right away which was awesome. Location is excellent we walked out of our room and we just crossed the street and were on the beach . The lodge has also inside pool and barbecues if you need it. We will definitely coming back next year.

Had a very comfortable stay in the King Suite. The room is spacious enough and was exceptionally clean. There was a nice view of the lake and the hotel is well situated being close to the down town core, beach, parks and restaurants. An added bonus is the bistro table & chairs where one can relax with a cup of coffee.

The Location is fantastic because it’s in front of the okanagan lake and the view from our balcony is outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the hotel’s prime location- right in the heart of everything, like dining, sightseeing, you couldn’t ask for a more convenient spot. The staffs were another standout- friendly, helpful and always available to make sure everything went smoothly. You can really tell they care about making you stay as comfortable as possible.

The bed is pretty comfortable. Location is right next to Okanagan Lake which is very convenient and a nice view to wake up to. Nice shower and it was nice having two sinks. They provide makeup remover wipe which is great too. There is an eco deal as well if skipping housecleaning. They have a small little private beach with towels provided and a number of restaurants to pick from. Staff is very friendly. I love the lady who checked us into the hotel. She has great energy!

The location is amazing, the staff is amazing, the restaurants are amazing, the view is amazing. I will never stay anywhere else in Penticton, we absolutely loved it and will be back!

The location was perfect, right on the beach, everything is steps away including the farmers market, restaurants and pubs, dog beach, art gallery, main street shopping. Its all right there. The view is spectacular and the beds were super comfy.

The Resort was great for our large group. The pool and hottub we're very nice and clean. Restaurant was awesome and great service. We loved the Bistro and the owner was amazing!!

Coming from West Kelowna we decided to treat ourselves to a staycation night away for our belated anniversary. We were lucky to still have the heated pool open in October! The hot tub is open as well. The front desk gentleman who checked us in was thorough, friendly and excellent at his job. It's great having a cafe on site. Our morning coffee and London fog along with a fresh baked muffin with a great start to the day Which we took to our patio to relax & enjoy the view in the fresh air and sunshine The restaurant being a walk across the parking lot was wonderful. Shaughnessy's Cove not only had fantastic food flavour, quality & plating but excellent customer service. Our server (which I believe is also the manager of the restaurant) gave top-notch service. She asked right away if we were having a special occasion, and when we told her we were there for our anniversary she promptly left & returned with two glasses of champagne for us to celebrate! The restaurant has big picture windows so you can look out at the view and a great outdoor patio space for daytime dining. Every one of the staff were worm friendly, welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend their crispy cauliflower. It was the best we've ever had with the crunchy kale chips as a topper and the roasted red pepper hummus alongside. All the flavors were really well done together.

We enjoyed our stay very much in August. All the staff that we engaged with were very helpful and friendly!! We love the suites, we have been coming to the resort for many years. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds and bedding are exceptional and we always have a good sleep. The lake view is amazing. We also enjoyed some delicious bakery items from the deli and we're able to join in on a wine tasting event. Overall it is a great place to relax and enjoy Summerland and the area. The Shaunessy Restaurant is on the grounds and won't disappoint. We definitely recommend Summerland Waterfront Resort!!

We visited in the first week of September to avoid the crowds. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. There’s a nice long outdoor pool and two hot tubs that are clean and well maintained. The two EV charging stations are free so don’t make the same mistake as us and charge at the municipal station across the road! Both the restaurant and bistro are great, and helpful to have so close by as there are not many dining establishments in Summerland. We did venture to Penticton for dinner a couple of nights at Poplar Grove winery and The Kitchen at Da Silva winery. Activities close by include a hike up Giant’s Head and a bike ride from Penticton Bike Rentals on the KVR. We recommend them both.

We really enjoyed the jacuzzi in the room. Nice quiet area. My only complaint would be the people above and next to us were a bit noisy. Other than that we had a great stay and will definitely book there again.

We loved the jacuzzi tub in the room. Seemed clean. The mattress was super hard though, and there were elephants in the room above us and had us awake at 5am. Make sure you get an upstairs room if you want to sleep. It’s an old run down building but the rooms have been renoed so it’s fine. Breakfast was typical. Hashbrowns were basically raw.

I always stay at the Bowmont when in Penticton. It’s a perfect location , near the beach, easily accessible to get around from the motel, restaurants nearby, lots of activities nearby to attend and the view from the balconies is amazing. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and the kitchen is perfect for my needs.

This was our second stay at the Bowmont for our annual lacrosse tournament, and once again it was fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, and the facilities for a group are unmatched. The covered group area is perfect — with three barbecues, plenty of counter space for food prep and serving, lots of seating, and cozy fire tables for the evenings. The team had a great time in the pool and exploring the beach, which is just a short walk around the corner. Thank you for another great stay — wonderful memories were made this weekend. We’ll see you again next year!

Had a great stay at the motel for my 4-day work-related visit. The best thing about the stay, other than the nice and comfy room (and nicer views!) was the availability of all basic utensils (mugs, plates, cutlery etc.) in the ensuite kitchenette -- so convenient! The room also included a sitting area I could use as desk and an air conditioner. Being at the conference all day, I loved the quiet and relaxed ambience and spending evening by the pool. The staff were extra nice and helpful and happy to give tips on bussing around the Okanagan valley.

We really loved this motel, the BBQ’s/kitchen area had lots of seating and with it being right next to the outdoor pool made it perfect for lounging outside. They had lawn games by the pool as well and a cat on the property. The location was amazing, it’s close to the beach and the staff were very friendly. The room had a kitchen and the bed was very comfortable. We will stay again at this motel any time we come to Penticton.

It was walking distance to everything. Restaurants, bars, Channel, bikes, ice cream and beach. but off the main drag so very quiet. Pool was clean and very family oriented. The bathroom was big. We had 4 girls in there doing hair.

Friendly capable staff. Clean well appointed room. VERY comfortable bed. Nice big patio area and lawn overlooking the river. Pool, hottub, Good breakfast and also overlooking the river. Stayed before, will again.

Very nice motel. Close to the beach and restaurants in Penticton. The pool was well maintained and much appreciated in the heat. The managers were very friendly and helpful for our group of four cyclists. The rooms were well maintained and very clean. The bed was quite comfortable with nice linens.

We were there from Aug 18-22nd. We were very happy that this location was so close to everything - about 2 blocks from okanagan lake beach, across street to the River float channel, and walking distance to lots of restaurants along the beachfront and away from the beachfront. Great location!!! Newly redone rooms, very nice to have a full kitchen (with full size fridge). Pool was nice as well but as it is open until 10:30pm each night, very packed with kids right up to last minute so very noisy and loud. Place was kept very clean as well as rooms cleaned each day. Only downsize was they have a coffee pot but no coffee or cream/sugar provided so had to go to Save On to buy that. No big deal but would of been nice to just have it stocked everyday.

Our arrival to Penticton was a little later than anticipated as the drive from the Vancouver area takes one through some beautiful countryside. The motel office is a pleasant place with various characters hanging around. You aren't really sure who is running the show but, everyone is friendly and helpful. It is very welcoming and reminds me of a 50s sitcom. The rooms in the motel have kitchenettes and numerous propane BBQs are set about the property for the use of the guests. The centre of life in a motel is the pool and the Riverside had one in constant use. About the entire perimeter colourful towels hung across railings along the balconies. There were no rooms to be had the night we arrived and were told this is typical every day of the summer. Many people are repeats, returning year after year. I understand why. The management and staff keep this old gem in tip-top shape. The rooms are old. The beds were comfortable and clean. The rooms are well maintained and clean also. Eventually renovations will be required, however everything worked and I slept well. For a summer or fall wine tour or any visit to the area I would recommend the Riverside Motel

Riverside Motel was recommended by some friends who have been going to Penticton every year for the past 20 years (and they stay here each time). It’s a very family orientated place (lots of kids) with a swimming pool in the courtyard. In August there’s lots of Italians and Eastern Europeans. In the evenings, everyone returns to cook dinner and socializes in the courtyard while the kids play in the pool. No smoking in rooms (even on the balcony). Also no smoking in the main courtyard. Things generally quiet down at 11pm when there are lots of families there in August. Rooms are clean (air conditioning works but can be noisy), mine worked so well I would shut it off in the evening (especially if you stay on the ground level). Some rooms are more dated than others. Full kitchen and bathroom (I cooked everyday while I was there). Staff is pleasant and helpful, and always cleaning outside the property everyday Housekeeping is also offered daily. Staff always asks if you need anything. And the staff is always on the property. Office is open until 9pm. This place is a 3 minute walk to the beach, and also to the Penticton Chanel Float. Also short walking distance to Cobs, Starbucks, Tim Hortons, Liquor Store and Grocery and other amenities. And across the street from Locolanding Adventure Park. I originally planned my trip from Aug. 18 to Aug. 24th but extended my stay at Riverside Motel until Aug. 30th when a room became available. Will be back.

The convenient location right across the street from the beach was why we chose this hotel, as well as the price point. It was reasonably soundproof and we didn't have a problem with noise. We had a ground floor one-bedroom suite with two beds in the bedroom. The beds were soft and the bedding clean. A large dresser, but small closet - bring some hangers. The living room and kitchenette had a good use of space. It was not super equipped like a condo, but had enough cups, cutlery and dishes for four, one saucepan, wine glasses and an opener. It had a small coffee pot with pouches of coffee, a toaster, microwave, full-sized fridge with freezer and a stove. The only complaint about the space itself was the bathroom. It really needs to be redone. The tub faucet and showerhead are broken down and dated. The grout on the floor is gross, and the towel bar had been ripped off the wall and put back on in an awkward space too low down. No hooks for used towels or space for any spares. Sierra (I think?) who worked in reception was friendly and helpful. It seemed like she did everything. She was always responsive and upbeat. There was no housekeeping, but you could go to the office to get more towels or coffee, and they sold bags of ice for $2. For the convenience and price point we would definitely return, in spite of the dated bathroom.

Unbeatable location seconds from the beach! The hotel looks a little worn on the outside, but inside the rooms are clean, well maintained and clearly recently renovated. The automatic online check-in was super easy and the front desk staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful on checkout. The AC worked very well, the bathroom was clean and there was courtyard parking for all guests. Great experience overall!

Location. Location. Location! We spent 4 days in the 2brm lake view unit. Loved the balcony and the proximity to the beach and restaurants. The room was clean and the kitchen was pretty well outfitted for breakfasts and light meals. Matt was super helpful and accommodating, we appreciated his friendly demeanor and helpfulness during our stay. Looking forward to our next stay in a few weeks

Super clean, shower pressure was great. Lots of hot water. Easy check in. Bedding was fresh and very clean. We will use this motel in the future. Great location right on the opposite side to the beach. Lots of interesting restaurants only a few minutes away.

.Room was comfortable and clean with a kitchenette and large living room area. Perfect location for walking to town or to go bowling and right across from the beach. Matt was so welcoming and always available for any questions.

Really enjoyed our stay here from start to finish! The staff were very welcoming and helpful getting us set up for our weekend stay. We were wowed by the room in the new wing of the hotel! Very clean, modern, and comfortable. Lots of space and a great balcony with a view of the lake to boot. The rooms were quiet, couldnt hear a sound unless we had the balcony door open to hear the birds. The bed and amenities in the room were great! Very comfortable and easy to use. Parking was easy to find although we were not advised that it was paid parking at the beginnjng of the stay only to find out it was $20/night extra on top of room charges. The restaurants were great! Lots of options at the hotel and down the street from the hotel! Never had a bad meal and the service was lovely. We didnt get to explore the hotel as much as we would have liked but we would definitely stay here again given the opportunity! Highly recommend this hotel!

I had to take my partner for surgery to Penticton we are from Nelson, I explained procedure to front desk staff and recovery , they gave us a medical rate, upgraded our room to a quiet suite as we needed space and quiet to recover. The suiteis clean, spacious the front desk staffare friendly and accomadating as well as bellman, housekeeping staff are all so helpful and kind. The buffalo head cafe for breakfast and latte was really good great service. I suck out for lunch at The hooded Merganser which has a great view amazing food and service. The only thing would be the bathroom needs towel and robe hooks. Turn down service each evening truly appreciated. 10 out of 10!

This is a conference hotel but for the individual traveller the main attraction has to be the amazing views over the lake. Our room overlooked the lake and included a balcony. Sadly the hotel faces north so the balcony isn’t a sun trap for large parts of the day. There is a large bar area which has live music and it’s a great place to sit outside for a drink overlooking the lake. We ate in the main restaurant which is in a separate building on the lake. It has great views. The restaurant was very busy and you need to book. The food was good but the the espresso martini had at the end of the meal was exceptional

Waterfront location was great. I chose the West wing due to it being renovated but it was weird that it wasn't attached at least by some sort of pedway. Comfortable bed. Good blackout blinds. Weird set up with bed in center of room and no bedside tables, just a shelf above the bed. Clean and renovated nicely. Very quiet the first night but the second night someone upstairs was walking all over the place in their room and it woke us up at 4 am and they kept going...Breakfast was okay, at least not too expensive and friendly service. Parking an extra 20 dollars a night which I don't recall them mentioning at check in. We were here in low season at the end of May. Would like to see what it is like in the summer. All went smoothly, no major issues. Ate twice at the Hooded Merganser Restaurant. Lovely location on the waterfront but the food was not great...went for ice cream after - walked down the waterfront and that was nice.
