Excellent breakfast, large modern bathroom. The jacuzzi on the terrace was a special treat. Location was near plenty of great restaurants and historic points of interest within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful with the baggage and parking the car.

Room was on top floor with private balcony, jacuzzi shower, large room by European standards,king size bed, and wonderful shampoo, conditioner & body gel amenities. Location in city center on Main Street near Piazza Italia; it is close to museums, many restaurants & shops. Breakfast buffet with hot items like scrambled eggs and bacon, variety of breads & pastries, fresh fruit, cold meats and cheeses

This is an exceptional hotel which seems to have been recently renovated and is superbly decorated in every way. If you can, book a room near the roof top with a jacuzzi on the terrace. It makes for a very special treat. Very friendly service and good value considering the quality and the location. A great breakfast too.

This place is really good, and gets the full five stars despite a couple of gripes I'll get to later. The location is fantastic, a couple of hundred yards from the main square. The building is beautiful, apparently renovated about 8 years ago but looks fresher. We had the jacuzzi room - on the top floor with a balcony and hot tub with views over town and to the countryside beyond. There's no bar or restaurant but the breakfast selection is good, and the room it's served in spectacular. Staff are generally very pleasant and helpful, particularly in handling the logistics of parking and luggage. At £240 a night including breakfast and parking it's not cheap but still good value I'd say. It's not quite perfect, though. Service at breakfast is patchy, with coffee often taking ages or not showing up at all. Then at checkout, despite asking, I was not offered the option to pay in Euros. The rate I was charged to pay in £ was worse than the card company rate, and the lack of choice cost me around £25. That was a shame as otherwise it was perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Locanda della Posta. The location was superb, and we were able to walk everywhere in the city. Our deluxe room was so comfortable with a state of the art Jacuzzi shower and a balcony with a table and chairs overlooking Corso Vannucci. The staff at the front desk went out of their way to be friendly and helpful (everyone was fluent in English) and the breakfast area was so inviting, with a wonderful breakfast that included many choices, including scrambled eggs. We were able to easily walk to the MiniMetro to take the train for day trips to other towns. We easily walked to the bus station for a day trip to Gubbio. Restaurants were all within a few minutes from our room too. Everything was just perfect!

The hotel is located on a hill with stunning views, ask for a room with a view. If your room doesn't have a view, just check out the bar. In good weather you can sit on the balcony and have a view of the valley. Some of the walls in the dining room are hundreds of years old. I love the preservation of history. There are elevators to rooms and dining room. My room did have a walk-in shower. Some rooms have a small balcony. The food was delicious (especially the veal) and plentiful. We ate as a group and were offered seconds. Anyone with food allergies or preferences (don't like pork, for example) was brought a different protein. The desserts so light and yummy. I liked the variety offered for the breakfast buffet: lovely "rose" rolls, eggs, bacon, croissants, granola, yogurt, juices (love that blood orange juice) lemon cake (wow), even honey dripping from the hive! The staff were friendly, helpful, and respectful. My only suggestion to the Hotel Giotto would be new mattresses, alas, I could feel every spring. Hotel is an easy walk up or downhill to many local shops. Churches within a 10-20 minute walk.

First of all, Assisi is a beautiful and peaceful town. Be prepared to walk up and down many hills. We came to visit soon to be Saint Carlo Acutis, and were so happy to find such a beautiful place. The Giotto is very nice with a lovely breakfast available. A restaurant on premises for dinner. There is a wonderful terrace to sit with a drink and admire the amazing view. It's a short walk, though uphill, to the town centro where there a restaurants and cafes and a lovely old Roman building which was transformed into a church. The staff was very accommodating. Overall a wonderful experience.

I had an excellent stay at Hotel Giotto in Assisi. I needed to change hotels for stronger Wi-Fi to attend business meetings in the U.S., and the front desk staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. The room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed and a well-appointed bathroom. The terrace offers stunning views of the valley—truly peaceful and inspiring. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh, abundant, and absolutely worth it. I’d return just for that alone. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers.

A very cute and comfortable place. The location couldn't be better. We had a stunning view of the Italian countryside from our windows. The front desk staff was very helpful and the parking lot attendant really did his job well. The restaurant was quite cool and felt like it was carved out of the bottom of the hillside. We had a nice dinner there. The food and wine were delicious. The breakfast buffet was good with a vast array of pastries, cheeses, meats, and more. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Assisi.

Great views from the hotel lounge bar/terrace. Breakfast was delicious - but long queues for the 1 coffee machine which spoiled the breakfast somewhat. For me the location was perfect - with everything in pleasant walking distance.

One of the most beautiful camp sites we ever visited. In last 3 years we visited 7 camp sites in Spain, France and Italy. This one offered highest Level of comfort and highest specification of houses and Camp site it self. Top spec, top class modern "houses" the whole area was superb, clean, safe, and designed to look great. Most important VERY spacious and not overcrowded. Our 3 bedroom house was just fantastic, fully equipped, fantastic kitchen, comfortable bathrooms. Small but planed in smallest detail. Outdoor football pitch, walkways, playground just perfect for kids. Swimming pool AMAZING especially new area for kids (3-10 years old will love it) plenty of sunbeds. Ber food was very good quality, small shop provided us with basics and fresh bread every day. Plenty of activities for kids. Perfect for a family holidays, great views around, Fully RECOMENDED 100%. Only 20min drive to a beautiful town of Perugia. By the way no one is paying me for this review. In my all Reviews I honestly inform you about my experience.

We chose this campsite because of its proximity to the places we wanted to visit. The tent was perfect with a beautiful view of the lake. Clean bathrooms, and an on-site bar, pizzeria, and restaurant. The swimming pool was a plus.

We arrived and there was parking with no problem at all ,check in was very fast and easy with very nice staff and very helpfull too,they escorted us to our cabin which was very nice for a couple it was very clean and comfortable we had all we needed in it.The area is so quiet ,the surrounding so beautiful it's a very nice place for children too!There is also mini market and a restaurant ! We really enjoyed our stay and would really love to come back soon!! Thanks from both of us❣️😍

Our brand new apartment was superb, with all the expected facilities and more! Everything has been so well thought-out and completed to a high standard, from the properties themselves to the lanscaping, including beautiful plants and flowers, winding paths and attractive lighting. We loved being able to sit out on our shady terrace in the little enclave. The restaurant and bar were great - we ate there 3 times during our 7 night stay! The pool complex is stunning, with something for all ages. Lake Trasimeno is so beautiful, and the campsite feels very unique compared to other, larger sites. Whilst the splash pool (this WAS completed during our stay, however) and some other areas weren't completely finished, you could see the vision, and we appreciated the fact that were still able to take our holiday, and we're looking forward to booking again for next year!

Large room with (basic) kitchenette and private outdoor seating area for breakfast, apero, etc. Room was equipped with airco, which was no luxury at nearly 40 degrees temperatures outside. Very nice swimming pool area with Jacuzzi and plenty of sunbeds. Towels were made available on a daily basis. A very nice restaurant was close-by on the premises (not belonging to the same owner) offering excellent food and wines for an affordable price. Friendly staff.

Very quite, clean, well located resort. Pool and surroundings were very quite, relaxing and always clean and very well kept. Staff very friendly, helpful and speaks good english. Rooms are spacious, clean and airconditioned. Also had a change of towels and line at no extra charge. Very good location if driving to towns and villages in Umbria and also nearby Tuscany. Good restaurants and large shopping centre 10 minutes drive away. Enjoyed every moment and can recommend to all.

The pool was fantastic, spotless and never busy. The apartment was spacious modern and had great character, great water pressure in the shower and cleaned to a high standard. All the staff were helpful and friendly, the place was never crowded or rowdy. Close to plenty of good restaurants and towns to explore. Cannot fault our stay, we would definitely return! We had an outstanding time at the Anna Boccali resort , the rooms are spacious , tastefully decorated with attention to details .The place is calm and behind a sunflower field , the swimming pool was great with an amazing view on the nature surrounding !! Erjon played a big role in how we were taken care of , he gave us a few great spots in the area to visit , he was extremely both friendly and professional . One of our best places we have stayed ! Thank you we loved our time there .

Very nice resort. Our favourite accommodation from our Italian road trip. We stayed in the luxury suite which had a hot tub and was next door to the restaurant. The restaurant food was amazing and had a very good reputation, which was shown by the amount of customers who come to the resort just for dinner.

Wonderful well designed spacious hilltop country retreat complete with spa and magnificent views over Perugia, Asisi and the surrounding vinyards and olive groves. Car (ideally with GPS) is essential for access. We stayed in a quiet period just before Christmas in the snow and ice but the hotel and welcome was warm and friendly. Our room looked out over the twinkling lights of Perugia, 5km away. The room was tastefully decorated in a modern style that reflected the rustic history of this area. The breakfast buffet was truly a feast fit for a King. One of the best we have ever seen in many, many years of travelling. Even though the hotel was quiet due to the off season there seemed to enough food for 100 people! If you are touring by car around Italy, this is a wonderful stop in between Rome and Siena/Florence and is well worth the detour off the main roads.

This is a fabulous hotel in a great location with views towards Perugia and Assisi. The rooms were first class and very clean. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The pool was quiet and clean with great views and a strict rules about respectful behaviour. It exceeded our expectatioins and was very good value. Definitely a hotel we will return to one day and recommend to others.

The resort is spotless and well maintained. The views are spectacular. It is very peaceful and quiet. If you are looking to be away for the hustle and noise, it’s the place to be. The grounds are beautiful. The room is spacious and clean. Staff is polite.

Loved the location of this place, gorgeous views from every window of our room plus wonderful balcony with great views!!! Very convenient to explore hill towns of Umbria. The room was a little dated and could have been a little cleaner. We tried to schedule a massage in the spa, but they had no evening or morning time available even with 24 hour notice, which was disappointing. Breakfast room also had gorgeous views.

We first stayed in 2010 and found the hotel staff very helpful and friendly - so it was nice to see them again in 2012 for our 30th Wedding Anniversary . We love the area it is quite peaceful, The food is excellent although ( evening meal ) maybe on the large side, Michael @ reception was helpful and speaks good English i did manage a few words in Italian, Francesco also helped translate the menu his recomendations were excellent. The pool and Spa are good and always clean. We will go again

Amazing dinner, fantastic local wine. Rooms are very nice, clean and we enjoyed the jacuzzi. Located within a few steps from the center, can't beat the location.

We loved our stay at Hotel Priori Secret Garden. Our room overlooked the outdoor space with amazing views of the Umbrian hills. We enjoyed listening to the music from the patio. The bed was super comfortable and room was spacious. Breakfast was great and very enjoyable on the gem of a patio. Staff super-friendly too. Easy walk to great shopping and restaurants. Helpful tip: From the train station, take Minimetro to the hotel. It’s a trolley that runs every 2-3 minutes from the train to the city center. Cost is €1.50. Wish I had known about this sooner. Not a lot of advertising for it but VERY convenient!

We really enjoyed our staying at the hotel Priori. The entire hotel is fully renovated and well decorated. Our room was comfortable and had a beautiful view. The breakfast was delicious. We also had an apperitivo in the hotel terrasse that was just perfect. There is a spacious garage that was very handy considering that the hotel is in the historical center of Perugia. There is even a small gym with modern equipment just perfect for doing some exercising before dinner.

This really is a secret gem! Tucked away down a pretty cobbled street, the hotel is simply beautiful. The perfect hotel for exploring the area. The staff are super helpful and polite. The room was clean and comfortable. The food in the bar, restaurant and terrace was delicious and very good quality. I would stay here again for sure.

The hotel is in a perfect location in Perugia’s centro storico. It is very central, but off the main street. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless and comfortable (our bed was great), with design-magazine decor and charming rooftop views. The restaurant is excellent, either for a meal, or for aperitivo.

Stayed for one night in Assisi whilst driving from Florence to Abruzzo. Booked rate inclusive of a spa credit which allows use of the hotels spa facilities, the spa is small but perfectly formed and puts UK equivalents to shame. Sitting in the Jacuzzi looking around at the Roman ruins was an honour. We parked in the public car park in front,the hotel provided a voucher for a slightly discounted rate, 16 euro instead of 25 euro.

The decor inside and outside immediately relaxes you and you know you have arrived at an oasis. The staff is friendly and provides amazing personalized services...they went out of their way to meet our requests. The spa is over priced but the services are good (better than most hotel spas) in a very unique and relaxing setting. Go for a basic Swedish or ask for a Deep Tissue....the rest is exotic sounding and expensive with low value. The room is very modern with clean lines and lots of white space (not cluttered). We had a duplex which gave is a modern apartment-like feel. The bed was too soft and not firm...the only negative in the whole experience. The best aspect about the Nun Assisi is the restaurant...the best, hands down in Assisi for simple, authentic, farm to table fresh food. We ate there on the first night and should have just stayed in every night...this is no hotel food...it's amazing...from the tempura of cod fish and zucchini to the pasta al dente with black truffle and mushrooms to the cannoli...and more...you have not had such good food in the best NY restaurants at such value. Romance rekindled.

The Nun Assisi is fantastic. The service is amazing. The employees are super friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. Every staff member greets you with a smile and are always offering you a coffee or something to eat. The rooms are very modern, cozy and quiet. The bathroom shower is top notch. The Nun Spa is a must visit. The Nun is in easy walking distance to everything in Assisi. 5 Stars!

Hubby and I stayed at Nun Assisi for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute of it!! We had room #11.....the one with the private terrace!! Even though the weather is a tad chilly in March we still went up there daily and enjoyed the sun rise and sun set. It was just so lovely we really didn't want to leave. The spa facilities are done so tastefully as it is set around an ancient amphitheater. The pool was so relaxing and fun to float around and turn on all the jets! The bed was a nice king size with memory foam and linen/cotton sheets.....pure luxury and so conducive to a great night's sleep. The bathroom was a little cramped but that's OK because it's good to get close!! The breakfast was superb and really started off the day wonderfully. They would even make omelettes to order! Overall, I would highly recommend Nun Assisi for anyone who is looking for a relaxing, comfortable stay !

Elegant, sophisticated, professional AND warm, proactive and considerate service throughout the experience. Most conveniently located, most beautifully designed and furnished, everything is a great experience, the rooms, the spa, the outdoor garden and relax gardens, the amazing Benedikto restaurant, a definite must-do in the evening with some tasty food and wine, great attention from the chef and team, and an incredible view and atmosphere. Location just fabulous. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner in main restaurant superb with the most amazing views. Breakfast only average and we had it in a downstairs room with no view, perhaps they could change it so you ate at the restaurant with the view.

We stayed here overnight. A very welcoming reception. They had a bar and nice, comfortable living room settings to enjoy your drinks. The bed was very, very comfortavble, quality pillows and bedding. The room had a large wardrobe, desk, 2 end tables, 2 chairs and small table. The view from the room over the valley was incredible. The bath had a large tub, and enough counter space for items. There is a Michelin restaurant in hotel, but we were too exhasted to eat. The included breakfast was delicious. Best croissants we have ever eaten. The people who wotrked there are very friendly and helpful.

Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were always extremely helpful and courteous. The view of the valley was amazing and the location was central to churches and close to the town square. The buffet breakfast had a good selection.

My stay was amazing! During breakfast I met Daniella. She is fantastic, she is very sweet, professional and attentive. Daniella made me feel welcome and confortable. The food was great! In addition to that, the whole Staff was very professional, helpful and kind. The hotel is beautiful and the location is perfect. However, is the staff that made my stay a fabulous one. We truly enjoyed our stay. The room was exactly as promised with a breathtaking view of the valley. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. They sent us to a small out of the way church that most tourists don’t get to see. It was amazing. The restaurant had amazing food with also breathtaking views. We would definitely stay here again.

The house and its elegant gardens are kept up well. Lots of quiet and pretty places to sit in in your choice of sun or shade. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was the best spread we had in all the 5 hotels in the area we stayed in. All the staff I met were helpful and friendly. Easy drive to the village of Torgiano with wine tastings and the wine and olive oil museums. A car is very helpful. A very relaxing environment. 

Posta Donini is a renovated grand residence that was originally built in the 16th century. The setting is beautiful, but what really makes this place unique is the kindness and availability of the staff. They are incredibly helpful and go out of their way to make sure you have a memorable stay. For example, I needed a wired internet connection with a static IP address, and the staff did their best to accommodate my request. I highly recommend the free tour of the grand residence as it gives you many fascinating insights to the long history of the building, which was fascinating. The breakfast and the food in general are also excellent. There is a wide variety of options to choose from, and everything is made fresh to order. The swimming pool is great. I didn't try the SPA as I was happy enough with the outdoor pool. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at Posta Donini. It's a truly unique and welcoming hotel, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to stay in Umbria. Last but not least, if you have an EV there is a charger in the immediate vicinity of the hotel parking and a Tesla Supercharger station at a 5 minute drive, which was extremely convenient. Personally, I will return for sure :)

We selected the Posta Donini hotel as a central location for our two week travels in the Umbria, Tuscany and Marche countrysides. It was the perfect location, convenient to the many wonderful small towns and larger cities in the region. The rooms were comfortable, nicely furnished and reasonably priced, the grounds are park-like and the breakfasts (included) were a great start to each day. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, especially a woman named Elena who cheerfully greeted us for breakfast before many of our daily travels. There was some building construction going on during our stay at the hotel but that didn't adversely impact the experience. Posta Donini was the absolute right choice for our vacation.

you feel yourself like a prince and princess living in a lovely small palace. very clean, and well decorated. staff is friendly and helpfull. breakfast is good, coffee is good. has a very tasty elegant restaurant which you can have a good dinner.

A very nice hotel within striking distance of Perugia. The rooms are spacious and scrupulously clean, with particularly comfortable beds. The staff, are very friendly and fairly helpful, considering somewhat limited English, but this is not really a 'full-service' hotel - bar is not staffed for e.g. The pool area is very pleasant, surrounded by well-maintained gardens. The annexe where the majority of the accommodation is, while a new addtion, is perfectly nice. The hotel does a roaring trade as a wedding venue, but it does not impinge too much on your enjoyment as this is on another part of the grounds, though you will still hear the music in the daytime. The location is on the outskirts of a rather unpreposessing town and, as such, is not particularly rural, though the grounds mostly make up for it.

everything the staff is super friendly, my parents stayed here a couple months before me and they still remembered them. when I had a problem with my airconditioning they didn’t stop trying to fix it all night (was fixed eventually!) mosquito nets for the windows so you can open the windows for fresh air such luxurious rooms, really nice smell in the room too lots of choice for breakfast, from bread to pancakes, a big granola “station” to make your own yoghurt bowl and lots of sweet pies and pastries the restaurant serves delicious food and the staff really knows a lot about wine the staff really feels like one big family, with the owner helping in the restaurant serving on some nights lots of beds around the pool to lie on cocktail bar for your pool refreshment or aperitif restaurant for lunch can be booked online and has an English menu the property is just beautiful, looks old and historic on the outside but is modern on the inside they have a shop where you can buy wines and olive oil special thanks to Monica for being an amazing host and helping me out with all my questions. but in general to all staff because you really made me feel at home as a solo traveler.

This resort is a real gem! For starters is is a gorgeous estate, the room was really modern, big and super clean ( with a lovely view). They have really chosen very high end details and you can see that everywhere, from the room , to the Osteria and the breakfast, quality comes first! The Osteria is really great, with an amazing and very thought out menu comprised of typical plates with a modern twist to them. We ate there twice in a 2 night stay and it was some of the best food of our whole trip. No wonder it is always full with locals, eating there. The breakfast is served at the Osteria in a beautiful buffet, and it has a lovely selection of sweet and savory items. Everything is homemade and you can definitely tell. Also the coffee was great! To top it all off, everyone working there was great. Very nice, thoughtful and great professionals. The location if also a great option if you are travelling through Umbria with a car and want to see different towns. It was really easy to get to and it is 10 minutes away from Assisi and Spello and close to other towns you will want to visit. I would definitely recommend this to anyone thinking of a vacation in Umbria, and to be honest I would love to come back as soon as possible!

It was my second year at Favorita and I can’t wait to go back in the near future. The room is amazing, spacious, airconditioning, beautiful and spacious shower. The facilities are great, a nice pool with enough sunbeds but what makes this place the best is probably the staff. They remembered me from last year and also remembered my parents who stayed here before me. The restaurant offers amazing food, you have so many options for breakfast and they can tell you all about the wines they serve and make some great aperol spritz. I would highly recommend going here.

We’ve met warm, kind, helpful and professional staff throughout our complete stay. Very comfortable and large room, big courtyard for our child to play. Several well maintained children’s activities. Clean all the way. Breakfast is great and diverse. Dinner was fantastic as well. Definitely recommend. We will be returning.

It is located in the beautiful city, that you probably would not go to see. It was very modern, clean and spacious. You have breakfast served in the apartment, previous night you choose what you want and sent it to the host. Host was so nice and welcoming, she responded very fast and was very helpful. For breakfast if you let her in advance she provides vegan options, so that was perfect. We forgot to let her know in advance, but she still managed to get us a plant based milk. Thank you for that! Parking is near, 3 minutes away, it if for free and outside the ZTL.

My stay at Forma Your Boutique Suite was absolutely perfect. The suite was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The bed was super cozy, and all the small details were extremely well thought. Cristina was an incredible host: warm, attentive, and kind. The location couldn’t be better, right in the center of the stunning historic town, full of charm and character. It’s peaceful, authentic, and the perfect place to experience the local atmosphere.

Beautiful rooms, very romantic, and decorated tastefully and to a high standard. It looked like it could be the honeymoon suite! Spacious and clean. Large comfortable bed, big tvs, air conditioner, nice breakfast. Got parked right outside. Good experience with staff, and a bonus to have daily housekeeping - she even washed our dishes!

The suite was brilliant, quiet, spacious and had all the facilities required including a coffee machine (extra pods were also provided at breakfast). Staff was friendly and gave us clear directions regarding how to get to the accommodation. Its beautifully located and there is also a free car park a minute or two away from the accommodation. Only wish we stayed longer.

Everything was perfect: - Location: a very quiet place, located in the middle of the Umbrian hills, surrounded by lots of trees. - The room and bathroom were spacious and well equipped. Comfortable bed and pillows. Sparkling clean. - Beautiful Spa with a variety of massages and treatments. - Nice pool and outdoor areas. - Friendly and very helpful staff. - Last but not least: the restaurant. You should give it a try. The food was delicious!

We recently stayed at this boutique spa hotel, and while there were many positive aspects, some significant shortcomings made our experience less enjoyable than we had hoped. Firstly, the hotel is small and intimate, with just a few rooms, which gives it a cozy, exclusive feel. The staff is wonderful—warm, helpful, and always ready to assist with any request. We felt genuinely taken care of throughout our stay. A special mention goes to the breakfast chef, who truly went above and beyond. At first, the breakfast spread seemed limited—mainly sweet pastries, a few yogurts, and some fruit—but as we stayed for five days, the chef took the time to learn what we liked and tailored breakfast to our preferences. She picked fresh vegetables from the garden, bought cream cheese for us, learned how we liked our coffee, and prepared our eggs perfectly each morning. Her generosity and attention to detail were highlights of our visit. The hotel’s spa was another high point, with a fantastic indoor pool, sauna, and other relaxing amenities. It’s a great feature of the property and truly enhanced our stay.

The facilities were great, clean and new. We didn’t make use of the spa, but other guests were very satisfied about that! We had a fantastic room, large and comfy with comfy bed and gorgeous and spacious bathroom. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful! Breakfast nicely set up and very kind staff. Pool was heaven and I loved the assigned chairs and parasols. Plus the lunch and bar service at the pool.

Restored beautiful old house in a great location, out in the nature but at the same time very close to all the amenities of the little town Santa Maria della Salute. Amazing view of Assisi, dreamlike little town on the hill. Room was very clean and had a nice view of the pool. Bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the landscaping of the place. Staff is friendly and helpful. We can wholehearthedly recommend this hotel.

The location is superb, very close to assisi and with an amazing view of the city. The breakfast is delicious, with lots of both sweet and salted options. We also enjoyed spending time in the swimming pool to escape the heat wave. The agriturismo is very clean and freshly renovated.

Lovely property. Very beautiful, peaceful and quiet. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. We arrived late but they had made provisions for us. Plenty of free parking.

Gorgeous pool area, stunning at sunset. Quiet, peaceful, panoramic breath-taking view of the entire Assisi valley. Breakfast was exceptional. The renovated buildings and land were exceptionally peaceful, nostalgic, and impressive. I felt like I had the opportunity to step into the past. I loved the baby kittens. Staff was helpful.

All the staff were super welcoming , and friendly. Our room was renovated to a high standard.The views were amazing, it felt like you were in the middle of the countryside yet only 5 minutes from the motorway. Dinner was excellent, and breakfast….9 homemade cakes on offer.

This place is perfect! Easy access to highway and close to Perugia, Assisi, Spello, and Spoletto. It is situated in the middle of an olive groove. The room was quiet, super clean, with good bathroom, and instant hot water. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. We stayed here 3 nights and breakfast every morning was a good assortment of fruit, baked goods, plus meats and cheeses. Also, some excellent cappuccino. We dined here every evening and the food was delicious. The menu offered several choices of pasta and beef or lamb. All the food appeared to be locally sourced and was extremely fresh! The wine list was inclusive of local and regional red and white wines….if this place is available, book it NOW…..We will be back!!

This is what holiday is all about. We felt welcome from the start. Everyone treats you with care. We booked for five nights initially, but we booked one night extra because we did not want to leave :-) The highlights include a very good breakfast, the location for exploring Umbria and the swimming pool area which is perfect for relaxing every day for a few hours. We booked the restaurant for dinner three times so yes, that is good as well. Their own wines are delicious.

Location!!! Beutifully renovated and decorated Italian farmhouse with breathtaking views. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful! The breakfast buffet selection was outstanding with lots of different options. Everything was fresh!

Very comfortable, peaceful hotel, at the end of a long uphill drive (beware of lumps and bumps on the way!). Outstanding views over countryside to Lake Trasimeno and beyond. Excellent staff (Maurizio a particular star), with good attention to detail. Slightly disorganised feel at times, but this is not to detract from what was a very restful, relaxing and calming 4 days. Good spa facility and physiotherapy massage to be recommended. Food excellent, and local wines added to the experience. Breakfasts were brilliant - wonderful fresh bread, a fantastic selection of honeys (17, I think) and attentive but not intrusive service at all times.

Remote location, very tranquil place, super friendly staff, amazing chef,good facilities and comfy bed,we had October room with 4 poster bed and round bath,tasty breakfast with nice coffee. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if travel in area . Simply 10 out of 10.

Wonderful. Best views in Italy by far. Rich in history. Staff are all impeccable and friendly. Restaurant is superb and an incredible breakfast. Very clean and comfortable.

Amazing location! Great pool with astounding views. The rustic chic style of the place is gorgeous! The real surprise was the truly excellent food! Dinner was delicious!!! The only downside were the wasps. I know this is not really in their control. But I saw no attempt to deal with them. None of the guests could eat outside at breakfast. I understand the staff may be used to them, but the guests are absolutely not. I would go back for everything else, but the wasps would stop me from returning unfortunately.

This is a wonderful B&B providing charming, clean and comfortable accommodation in a quiet, picturesque setting. We loved the terrace and beautiful outlook. Owner Paolo is a superb host, friendly, welcoming and attentive to any request and likewise Leonardo, who provided a delicious Italian breakfast (optional). Thank you both for making our stay in Assisi so pleasant and memorable.

Wonderful place to stay in the middle of the serene Umbrian forest, yet only five minutes away from Assisi by car. Paolo was an extremely gracious host, very hospitable and welcoming, always ready with useful advice and helpful tips. Enjoyed our little chats with him in the morning, a very kind and accomodating host. The setting is so peaceful and quiet, absolutely breathtaking. We stayed in a studio apartment which was extremely affordable and had all the amenities necessary for a very comfortable stay. We had a fridge and kitchen sink, cutlery and plates, a hot plate and a microwave. Comfortable bathroom with good water pressure and ample hot water. Free WiFi was available, simply a must in the middle of a forest where mobile connection is extremely poor. Ample parking was available for our 4x4 vehicle. Loved the place, scenery and the local, somewhat wild cats who are very happy to barter cuddles for food scraps. Highly recommended. Do yourself a favour and stay here if you're looking for a peaceful stay in Umbria.

Leonardo ( Paolo the owner's nephew) is outstanding in looking after his visitors and making sure they are happy. Idyllic location , beautiful flowers and garden , easy walking distance to a National Trust of Italy garden +monument ( free to UK NT members). Spotlessly clean and well maintained units where you can make food if you want or just relax after a day out in air conditioned comfort( essential when it's in the high 30's like this week.Optional breakfast was a real treat with fresh cakes ,pastries , Parma ham and cheese washed down with coffee or a pot of tea .Breakfast al fresco in the garden surrounded by nature and with a postcard view is something else! A great choice.

The property is set in a lovely, quiet countryside location with views to Assisi which is close by. The rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed. There is on-site parking. The host, Paolo, was very welcoming, responsive to our messages and met us on our arrival. He even provided fresh and delicious sweet and savoury treats from a patisserie in Assisi in the morning. You could not ask for more!

The location was quiet, peaceful and picturesque. The optional breakfast was excellent - plentiful with with variations each day. Everywhere was immaculately clean and flowers adorned the outside spaces. The hosts, Paolo, Daniela and Leonardo were very kind, welcoming, generous, helpful and patient - making us feel very relaxed from the first greeting. Food treats were delivered to our door each day. A ticket for the beautiful but uphill forest walk to Assisi, which took us about 40 minutes to walk, was very kindly provided for the duration of our stay. We were sad to say arrivederci to our hosts who also gave us a beautiful gift by which to remember Assisi. We shall never forget our lovely experience at Antica Fonte.
