Location was close to the ferry port, yet very private and quiet. The pool and the jacuzzi were great, the inner courtyard decor and flower gardens all around were very tastefully arranged. It all gave us a great vacation feeling. The bar and towel service was amazing, breakfast was excellent.

The breakfast was very good. Lety from the reception and Marco were extremely helpful in pointing out what to do and where to go. They helped with booking the day tours we took. Very friendly satff. The swiming pool and jacuzzi very good as well.

Perfect, we stayed in the clock house - opposite the Hotel. Perfect 4 bedrooms for 9 people with private jacuzzi in the garden. Milton took care of us and helped us.

The Vila is very big and comfortable and has nice facilities such as a jacuzzi, and a large public area. The hotel has an excellent location and WiFi is working great.

Great location; good breakfast and a clean, inexpensive hotel. We stayed there twice. Hottub on the 3rd floor, apparently solar-powered, never seemed to work, but not a huge issue.

Lovely hotel in Puerto Ayora. The pool was great after a long, hot day, and the jacuzzi was amazing for sore calves after lots of walking. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was basic but filling. All in all, enjoyed our stay.

The Hotel Galapagos Suites B&B was amazing. It was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. Our room was on the 2nd floor and spacious with a sitting area, a gigantic king bed, and balcony with cute hammock and drying rack for wet bathing suits. Upon our arrival, the hotel proprietor Josseline gave us a short orientation and a map of Puerto Ayora to help orient us to the town. There was a purified water dispenser outside our door that we filled our bottles with. The hotel location was superb as it was in a quiet area but only a short 5 min walk to the main strip. No detail in the room was overlooked: the bathroom included luxury toiletries and a jug of purified water for toothbrushing, there was a luggage rack for each of our suitcases, and the bed had three different types of pillows for each sleeper (flat, plump, and feather). We slept soundly as it was so quiet. The delicious breakfast (included in our rate) included a freshly cut fruit plate, homemade lemon bread and other breads, freshly squeezed juice, and eggs cooked to order by Josseline. We ate in the picturesque hotel courtyard. Josseline also lent us towels for use on our snorkeling tour to North Seymour Island. When we had to leave at 6 am on the day of our departure to make the early morning ferry to Isabela Island, Josseline provided us with bagged breakfast with freshly baked chocolate cakes, pears, and juice boxes.

Joseline is an amazing and kind host who makes all the difference when you are traveling to a place like the Galapagos. The travel to the island is long and it’s not always going to be smooth as an American, but it’s in journeys like these when you want to have a host like Joseline. She looks after you 100% of the way: arranging transportation to/from the airport, helping with laundry needs, preparing excellent breakfast, and making sure you have the right provisions for any daily tours. She provided clear expectations about the island and tours so that there were not any surprises throughout my time in the Galapagos. Her care for all her guests and the property is apparent. The stay is worth it for the host alone. The property is kept very clean and it’s in a central location to be able to walk to all of the areas’ popular restaurants and shops. I enjoyed having a balcony outside my room on the top floor for private outdoor space. The morning breakfast included fresh fruit, yogurt, bread, and eggs freshly cooked to preference. As a nice touch, Joseline prepared fresh fruit juice and bread/cake every morning. Thank you Joseline for a great time in the Galapagos and a comfortable stay in your hotel. I look forward to returning soon!

Great Place to stay in Puerto Ayora. Close to the center with all the restaurants and piers. Hotel is safe and located in a side street. Area is very quiet. Beds are comfy, rooms are big, Wifi and airconditioning works great. Owners are really friendly and helpful! Breakfast is amazing. Unfortunately we could stay only one night. Would like to have stayed longer there.

We loved staying at Galapagos Suites. The other comments have already mentioned everything, I guess, and I can definitely confirm it (spacious and very well-decorated rooms, comfy beds, good hot shower, yummy breakfast incl. freshly baked cakes, central yet quiet location, everything was spotlessly clean, etc.) - it is an excellent boutique hotel. But it was really Joseline and Josy who made our stay even more special - they were very helpful with everything and made sure we enjoyed the islands to the max. Joseline even put me on the phone with a doctor when I got a cold just before embarking on a dive cruise (liveaboard) to get some last minute advice. We were really sad to leave our Galapagos home and hope we will be back. In the meantime, whenever we are nostalgic, we have a tea in our Galapagos Suites blue-footed boobie mug. This place was great! Nice, well-cleaned, quiet neighborhood (no noises), and spacious and comfortable. Great communication and very attentive to our needs. The host was very nice! Breakfast was fantastic! Fresh fruit juices, different loafs (banana bread, carrot bread, quinoa bread, so on...), scrambled eggs, and coffee - I loved it. Bicycling, moping vehicle, walking distance to downtown/waterfront city, restaurants, cafes, tour agencies, shops, beaches, so on. I also enjoyed seeing many sea lions, marine iguanas, and sally lightfoot crabs, pelicans, and more....nearby this place. I highly recommend this place if you want to visit PUERTO AYORA (Santa Cruz) in the future.

Amazing place!!! Spotlessly clean! It’s actually nicer than the photos. Rooms are cleaned daily and beds made. AC perfect. Warm shower. Wifi works fairly well for the Galapagos. Communal kitchen is really well stocked and there is free drinking water (hot/cold) and free tea bags and instant coffee. It’s in a more local area but takes only 10-15 mins walk to all the tourist spots and restaurants. Hostess is so lovely and always available to help and gives great information about the area. She speaks mostly Spanish but it is easy to understand with the map she shows you. Such good value for money.

Wonderful customer service. Silvia and his husband Marcelo were amazing. They help us with all the information we need to walk around the city. Also they help us getting tickets for the ferry to go to another island when everywhere was sold out. They have an amazing hostal it is very clean, hot water , ac unit , a wonderful kitchen where you can cook and keeps your thing fresh in a designated area in the fridge. I also had a minor accident where I cut one of my fingers with a sharper knife and Silvia helped me with a first aid kit and applied some blood stopper gel and fix the situation. She was a life saver. Amazing couple so professional, gentle and loving. We definitely come back and highly recommend this place to everyone

Silvia, Marcelo and Rosa are such a nice and friendly people. They will help you in everything. Silvia helped us with all the organization to do what we wanted anyways being very honest, patient and friendly. The room is big, clean and confortable. It has tv and air-conditioning. You can drink purified water for free and you have a kitchen with coffee, tee, etc included in the price. It's a very safe and quiet place just 10min walk from the harbor. I strongly recommend it, in fact we are going back for our last days in Galapagos.

Very safe. Very helpful owner who found someone to do our washing quickly, efficiently and cheaply. Ordered a taxi to the ferry terminal for us. Large, clean kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Huge shower. Very comfortable beds. Quiet although some reviews have said otherwise.

Location: In the town for local shops, market and bus stop. Less than 5min walk to the beachfront restaurants and bars. Size of the room was generous and v comfortable. Hammocks and comfortable areas for relaxing as well as everything practical we could have needed: a well stocked kitchen, lockable cupboard in the room, lots of airing space for drying clothes. Good wifi - there is little to no signal on Galapagos and they had a starlink that provided the best wifi we found on the islands. Code-locked front gate meant you could come and go at leisure. Staff were very helpful: helped us to understand the bus to Santa Rosa (every 15mins 8am-10pm) for the El Chato Reserve to save money on taxis and even watched our bags for us the day we checked out so we could enjoy one more beach day before we left. There were bikes available to rent from the owners but we didn't use them. Also recommend ALMAR waterfront restaurant.

Clean and spacious property with a good size room and very well equipped kitchen. The bathroom is clean and water pressure is good. There are some nice hammocks to hang out in after a hot day under the sun. As for the kitchen, it has every tool you need to make a good lunch/dinner. The property is kept clean and well maintained. The location may seem out of the way at first, but after staying there and also staying downtown, we would choose this part of town again. It is quiet after sunset (no loud music or lights til 10pm), with reasonably priced grocery stores/restaurants around. The walk to the Main Street is around 5-10min, tops. Loved it and would definitely return!

Very nice place. I liked the room, it was clean and had a good air-conditioner. I don't think they offer breakfast, but there is a fully equipped kitchen for cooking your own food. I mostly went to Bowl Acai Bar (about 5 minutes walk) that has good vegan options for breakfast and dinner. They have bikes and snorkels that one can use for free. If you want to take the bike outside the city it's $10 per day.

I arrived late for my one night stay and didn't know exactly where I was until morning. The hostal is just a few minutes from the main road and 5 more into the town. The garden and sitting area was laid out beautifully and coffee was free. The room was clean, the shower amazing and the bed comfy with a soft pillow. I will definately stay there again. Highly recommended!

The White House was a pleasant surprise. Vary comfortable, clean, close to everything. Vary secure felt safe. Management was helpful and friendly. I usually don’t do reviews but this one really deserved one. Price was good also.

The location was about a 15 minute walk to the harbor, less to shops and restaurants. We liked being a bit removed and everyone we passed everywhere was very friendly and smiling. The breakfast was fresh juice, coffee, scrambled eggs, rolls, and fresh fruit. It was delicious! The room was very clean and welcoming. We didn’t have an issue with Wi-Fi at all. It was slow but stable. The staff were all very kind and friendly. Unfortunately, we didn’t speak much Spanish and the staff didn’t speak much English, but we made it work and mostly were all smiles at each other. The big fridge downstairs was available if you had leftovers.

The family that own the place are the loveliest people. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They really made the stay great for us! The location is good with only a 5 minutes walk to one of the main roads with restaurants and bars. In the other direction, you can reach the Charles Darwin Research Centre by foot. Rooms are basic but always thoroughly cleaned and with decent air conditioning (which was very much needed!!) It has everything you need for your stay in Puerto Ayora especially since you won’t be spending too much time in the room itself. Breakfast was included and while this was also basic (fruit, eggs and bread) it was enough to fill you and always tasty. This is served by the pool area which was also kept clean and was normally quite quiet. Great spot for an afternoon dip to cool down!

Very nice place and a very good value for money. Good location, close to center and cloe to the ocean. Nothing special, but rooms clean and comfy. Working AC and hot water. Very nice breakfast and very attentive staff. Also cheap loundry service. OK wifi. Nice pool area, nice views. For this price really good value for money.

Large corner room with sea views and hooks plus several hangers, and hammock hooks. Nice size bathroom with 7 hooks. A/C worked well. Breakfast was cooked upon arrival and served restaurant style, not buffet. Staff friendly and helpful; ordered a taxi for a tour and we saved us some money. Reverse osmosis water system.

The receptionist is the most hospitable, helpful and amicable person and made my stay really convenient and enjoyable! I received a lot of help and recommendations even before my stay, and she even went out of her way helping me with a small mistake I made with renting the gear. Thank you so much! I definitely recommend El Pinzón, it has a great location and the staff is exceptionally helpful and it is very clean and the rooms and beds are comfortable.

This is such a lovely place to Stay. The location is amazing only a few minute walk from the city center, caffe shops and restaurant and the port. Rooms are clean and room service is great. There is hot water in the shower, wifi works just fine. Staff is incredibly nice. You can refill your water bottle for free in the kitchen. Bonus is a lovely owner's dog Corazon that is just the sweetest.

The location was only a 10 minute walk from the ferry. I had a friendly whatsapp giving me directions before I arrived. The staff there were very friendly and spoke English. Really clean and comfortable. Very pleased with my room for the price also! Stayed in 3 bed dorm. Would recommend!

Got Two Big Beds in a huge room which was cleaned every day. Including hot showers! Less than 5-10 Minutes walk to nice bars and restaurants, but situated in a quiet street. Free refill water. Super friendly staff and a cute little dog.

The yacht expeditions were the best we did in the Galápagos: comfortable, safe, with top-quality snorkeling gear, great food, and knowledgeable guides. The cocktails were creative, the hotel spotless, and the pool constantly maintained. Our Evolution room was luxurious and peaceful — perfect after a day of exploring. The Finch Bay Galapagos Hotel is A+ across the board. The hotel property is immaculate, the service is spectacular and the food is delicious. The pool is so inviting and they have staff that keeps the pool sparkling clean all day long (and with so many birds, that's no easy feat!). The Suites had a beautiful view of the harbor and a nice hammock. The morning buffet was lovely and had a great variety of foods. The living room area was comfortable and a perfect place to relax after dinner. The main callout goes to General Manager, Alfonso - who truly went above and beyond MULTIPLE TIMES to accommodate our every need. He always made us feel important and heard. He is the best hotel manager I have ever met. The Sea Lion Yacht is also great and very comfortable. But be prepared - getting to the hotel is a MAJOR TREK. Once you land at Baltra, its a bus ride to the ferry + ferry ride + 1 hour-ish drive across island + to another dock where you take a water taxi to the dock that's closest to the hotel + 3-5 min walk from the dock to the hotel itself. But if you are going to the Galapagos, trekking to the hotel will be the easiest part of your day. This is a BUSY and ACTIVE trip Booking the trip was the only issue I encountered as they have a concierge partner with Metro Journeys and although the team at MJ's tried to be helpful, they felt salesy and I needed to extract them from my travel plans.

Finch bay is a fantastic hotel that I will definitely recommend to anyone going to Santa Cruz. We stayed for 2 days and I wish I had longer. Firstly it’s on its own little private area (with a free private boat that you can take to go back and forth). Takes 5 mins. Quiet and relaxing. Also the staff sets you up so you don’t have to worry about getting back to the hotel in case you don’t have service / wifi. Amenities wise it was 10/10. The pool and loungers were great. The rooms were beautiful and clean. Comfy bed and pillows. The staff were all amazing! Very helpful, very nice. The restaurant was one of my fav meals in the Galapagos. Highly recommend the tuna tartar and octopus. If you’re going to Galapagos, definitely stay here!!

We had a fabulous stay at the Finch Bay Hotel. The staff is helpful and very friendly. They truly care about your experience at their hotel and their excursions. The food is fabulous with many gluten free options. The pool area is beautiful and a nice place to have dinner. Our room was cute and quaint but unfortunately they didn't offer us the upgrade (remember to request that). We did many excursions: tortoise sanctuary (landed later in the day..would have loved more time to explore) but well worth the visit. Both yacht days were excellent our guide and crew were very knowledgable and always cared about us having the best experience and safety. Also an afternoon at the Charles Darwin Center and dinner at the Lava restaurant...dont miss that adventure. Special thank you to Carolina Escobar, our Finch Bay travel agent. She was very helpful and accommodating with all our special requests. Her attention to detail was perfect. Highly recommend the Finch Bay Resort 5 Stars all around ⭐️!!

We stayed here for 11 days and loved the hotel. I can't speak about the other rooms (they all seemed to have unique layouts) but ours, the Darwin, was fantastic. We were on the third floor water side with wrap around views of the ocean. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant was very good and reasonably priced (free cooked to order breakfast was great). The location was perfect for us...everything in town was within easy walking distance. There was even a COVID testing location just a short walk away which worked out great for our return trip. Our first night there at the hotel we saw most of the wildlife we came to the islands for (sea lions, sting rays, sharks, blue footed boobie, iguanas, pelicans, etc)...all while having dinner in the their open air restaurant! We didn't use the bikes but it was nice knowing they were there if needed. Tortuga Bay entrance is about 1.5 miles away and was worth walking to every morning. The room had over 80 channels, all Spanish, but a nice selection of sports, news and movies. Free coffee and tea in the lobby was nice in the morning. Tons of gift shops nearby and across the street was a shop that makes fantastic handmade chocolates. wifi is slow but we expected that...our phones (T-Mobile) worked very well. Overall would highly recommend the property...we felt like we should have been charged much more for the quality of room we were in.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Blu Galapagos. Perfect location, exceptional staff, and overall great vibe! We stayed in one of the rooms with an ocean view (‘The Wolf’ room) and it was by far a standout for our holiday. Super spacious and luxurious! The hotel has absolutely everything you need - food, wifi, free coffee/water/snacks, comfortable rooms, and bikes. The restaurant downstairs was fantastic also. The breakfasts were very yummy and we had lunch and dinner there too throughout our stay. Huge shout outs to Angel who went above and beyond with his service throughout our stay. He had great recommendations and deeply cared about making sure we had a good time. He even remembered a lot about us to ensure he we had a lovely experience. Thank you Angel for making our visit extra special! Highly recommend this hotel when staying in the Galápagos Islands!

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the staff was over the top in excellence, especially the Front Desk. I know that Hotels.com offers photos of rooms for easy selecting; but the one I chose was a bit misleading and so I was only slightly disappointed in the view that we got versus what was shown on the site. After a large party left, we were able to upgrade to the suite with the panoramic picture window of the bay which was exceptional. Thanks to the hotel’s front desk, they arranged for the upgrade and actually moved our luggage in for us once the room was ready. We came back from our adventures that day to an incredible room. The restaurant is also fantastic with its delicious food and incredibly friendly staff. Needless to say, the room’s bed, view, temperature, quietness and water pressure were perfect. The hotel offers a convenient snack shop with free filtered water. And the wildlife watching is not to be dismissed with its population of iguanas, seals and crabs. The hotel is also within walking distance to everything in town. Obviously, I would recommend staying here, it was absolutely amazing.

We choose to stay in one of the rooms with a sea view for four wonderful nights, and it was absolutely worth it as we were able to observe the sea lions, pelicans and crabs in the bay, at all times of the day. The shower had hot water and the bed was large and comfortable, both perfect after a long day of exploring. The staff were very helpful - laundry services taking only a few hours. There's a little store on site for convenience, and the restaurant downstairs was very good - we ate there twice! You could also rent bikes for free, which was a nice perk! We also really enjoyed the location. The hotel sits towards the end of the main strip in town, close to many restaurants, bars and shopping and an easy walk to the bus stop and the pier for water taxis and tours (about a 12 minute walk)!

This hotel is great and within walking distance from everything you need. The hotel restaurant has amazing views. I think I will remember my breakfast with a view for the rest of my life. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful.

I like small guest houses because of their attention to personal service and Hotel Palace Galapagos exceeded my expectations in many ways. The BEST breakfast ever -- always fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Staff was eager to accommodate any type of food allergy or aversion; in my case, vegan and they made it so easy with several courses every morning. They even made me a breakfast sandwich to take with me when my tour left before the regular breakfast began. My room was impeccably clean and the bed very comfortable. Hotel Palace Galapagos is perfectly located close to shops, restaurants, pier, and Darwin Research Center. All within walking distance. In addition, staff enthusiastically helped arrange ground transportation, tours, and ferry boat tickets; he also recommended wonderful restaurants with several vegan options. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. It is a lovely hotel, close to all kinds of activities, situated on a beautiful island with no hawkers. I strongly recommend Hotel Palace Galapagos as home-base in the Islands!

The hotel is in a nice quiet residential neighborhood, yet very walkable to restaurants and shops. The wifi was fast and dependable. The bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning worked well which was welcome each day after a day out. We chose not to spend the additional $8 a day for breakfast. The room was very clean! The staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing lacking was guidance on places worth visiting while on the island of Santa Cruz, although a recommendation was made by Julio for a travel agent we could contact. Overall, Hotel Palace is a great place to stay.

The rooms are comfortable, clean and well equipped, with a well working air condition. Hotel is near to the center of Puerto Ayora. But the extraordinary at Hotel Palace is the staff: All staff members were really helpful and friendly. They helped us with planning day tours and transfers and had good recommendations for restaurants, bars and activities. We could leave our luggage while we were some nights on another Island. The breakfast was freshly and lovely prepared every morning, even when we needed to leave before official breakfast time. We very enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel strongly for your stay at Galapagos!

Clean large bedroom, comfortable bed, nice breakfast consisting of eggs how you desire, toast, bread with jam and butter, fruit and yoghurt with coffee/ tea/ juice. The room was quiet and had AC which meant it was comfortable all the time. The bathroom was nice with a bath and a shower but could do with slight updating. You had to wait a little for hot water but that is normal on the island so wasn’t a problem. The staff were very friendly The location is very good being just a 7/8 minute walk from the main high street and sea.
