It was very conveniently located near the lower part of the old town, Quebec. Excellent breakfast with great fresh produce and lots of selections. The jacuzzi bath in our bathroom was very relaxing.

We absolutely loved this very special boutique hotel! The location was perfect for walking to everything. The staff was most accommodating with carrying out luggage to out room and checking us in early at not cost. We stayed in the Williamson 2 story and it was so wonderful with TV couch, refrigerator, microwave and a lavish en-suite with jacuzzi.

Very nice hotel in the middle of Old Quebec with all the nice boutiques. There's a room with a private jacuzzi too that you probably won't find elsewhere in Quebec city. The rooms are very clean and they provide you with enough toiletries too. Ask the receptionist if you're looking for a free bottle of water.

Suite 402 ( which was in a separate building from main hotel) was spacious and bright and absolutely beautifully clean. View out over covered courtyard and other buildings - maybe not the prettiest!! Comfortable bed/ bedroom/ lounge area and small kitchen area with sink coffee machine microwave and a selection of glasses and crockery for your use and ample wardrobe / storage area facing. Desk area also available if required. Bathroom area was massive with a wet room and jacuzzi bath. Only disappointment was no proper reception foyer or bar/ seating area in main hotel where you could sit and relax ….and breakfast room was very small and at times felt crowded and difficult trying to collect food and coffee especially if other residents decided to sit and eat in this room - the alternative place to eat was in the seated and covered courtyard just outside which was much more pleasant. Breakfast offering was in plentiful supply but choice/selection was quite limited and didn’t change from day to day - but this would be my only little criticism of this hotel. The location of the hotel is great - within walking distance (15 mins max) of the train station /lots of restaurants around ..and a very good steak restaurant actually attached to the hotel…within the old town area itself and two streets back from the riverfront. Easy access to the upper part of town via the nearby funicular. Great location. Would recommend.

This is a special gem in the heart of Vieux Quebec City, where you can step out into the old world charm and access everything that the City has to offer! We stayed in a 2-floor suite originally intending for another couple to join us (there’s a Murphy bed in the lower floor ). That area is open, with plenty of room and an adjustable fireplace. The upper floor is well appointed and has a generous en-suite with a jacuzzi bath. This was particularly welcome after a full day of sightseeing. All of the special, updated touches were there. We really felt grateful and comfortable during our stay and hope to return someday soon.

The hotel is in an excellent location in Old Quebec. The room was large with a very comfortable king size bed. The bathroom and shower were large with good water pressure. Robes were included which we used to go to the indoor pool and jacuzzi.

The hospitality was precisely what you'd expect from a luxury hotel—polished, professional, and personable. Upon checking in, I worked with Pascal, the guest relations representative. He was very encouraging and patient with my out-of-practice French pronunciation. His English was perfect, and his manners were impeccable. This was my first interaction with the staff and Quebec City; he and the location were very welcoming. My husband and I had a river-view room overlooking the boardwalk. The hotel offers different price points, and I would recommend the river-view accommodations for the money. It enhanced the enjoyment of our visit. We went in March and dressed for the cold and were able to get out and about to enjoy tobogganing, nearby ice skating, shopping, and, of course, dining. The further away from the hotel, the more reasonable the dining prices. The ferry across the St. Lawrence to the charming town of Levis is not to be missed. Guests with us enjoyed the hotel bar, which is known for its ambiance and pricey drinks. We had lunch and breakfast at two of the hotel's restaurants, which did not disappoint. There is a tour of the hotel, which was adequate and offered by private vendors. Skip the tour and explore on your own. We enjoyed a fabulous massage at the spa. We skipped the pool area, which seemed overrun with loud kids around the clock. Book a session at the nearby Strom Nordic Spa if you have time. We stayed four nights and highly recommend the hotel.

What a wonderful experience! This was our third year staying at the Fairmont in February. I always think our previous experience is the BEST but am surprised by the little things the staff does to make the next trip better. This time we stayed in the Queen Elizabeth Suite which was a perfect space for three adults. We love the large sitting area and most comfortable beds. Being able to control our heat (we like it cold) was an added bonus as were the charcuterie board on arrival and nightly treats. The French Onion Soup in the Bistro Le Sam was a perfect dinner for a cold night. The breakfast buffet has lots of choices all of which are delicious! As with our past experiences, the staff at the Fairmont are wonderful so helpful and knowledgeable about their hotel and the city of Quebec. My daughters and I would like to give a special shout out to Catherine to for taking such good care of us during our visit. You were amazing! We would also like to thank Maleni and Christine for their assistance when Catherine was unavailable. We are already looking forward to our return visit in February, 2026.

Review of Our Stay at Fairmont Le Château Frontenac – Golden King River View Room (24–25 June) This was our first time staying at Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, and overall we had a lovely time, though there were a few areas that could be improved. Firstly, upon arrival by car, we didn’t see any staff available to assist with valet parking. We had to unload our luggage ourselves and wait at the main entrance while my husband parked the car and returned. I waited about 10 minutes before a staff member eventually came to help with our bags. He was kind and friendly, which we appreciated. Secondly, when we entered the hotel, no one directed us to the Golden Concierge check-in, so we went to the standard front desk. The receptionist there was very pleasant and helpful. He realised we were supposed to check in on the 14th floor but still assisted us with the check-in and gave us our room keys. He said we’d be contacted once the room was ready. We went out to explore the Old Town and returned around 3:45pm, as we hadn’t received any update. We went straight to the 14th floor and spoke to another receptionist, who was absolutely wonderful. She confirmed our room was ready and kindly gave us a tour of the lounge and explained how everything worked. Her warmth and understanding really turned the experience around for us. She made a real difference, and we were very grateful. The room itself, located on the 11th floor, was clean, comfortable, and the river view was truly stunning.

Philippe and Yalda (not sure if I spelled correctly) were an awesome evening team to help with all our questions and restaurant recommendations - also loved the texting to see if all was ok with check in and room. The woman who worked the mornings was not as helpful or informed to answer questions. Pool was great and refreshing after a day of exploring. The room was clean and comfortable - easy to adjust temperature. Breakfast was the same each day but plenty of options to appease all ages. It was a short drive to all the sites so it was perfect to explore but then super quiet when we got home which was a treat. Parking was a breeze and safe. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

It was our first trip to Quebec City. We had a pleasant stay here. The staff is super friendly, helpful and accommodating. This is newly renovated or constructed property which is at walkable distance from Walmart and various restaurants. Very close to the main highway. Rooms were spacious and noise free. Breakfast service was great, they kept on replenishing items without much wait. Overall the stay was excellent.

Nice room, clean. We liked the location, close to many things and convenient. Overall quiet (though we did have 1 night with constant noise from the other room for over 2 hours and the hotel took care of that for us). Little things: blowdryer smelled like it was about to blow/burn up so I cleaned the dust vents as they were loaded, it was better after that. Visible dust in the bathroom vent. Shower did not have an anti scald guard, so easy to burn if you're not careful. Check in was easy, check out took longer, only 1 person at the desk so it takes a long time to drop off your key while you wait as they check in guests. Good breakfast options. I love the endless coffee/tea in the lobby. Nice staff. Positive stay overall.

We would stay in this hotel again no questions. The staff were very friendly, the hotel was beautiful, modern, and clean. Beds were comfortable and we couldn’t hear any noise from neighbouring rooms or the hallway. The breakfast buffet had a great selection.

Loved the spacious room, bathroom, and comfortable queen size beds. The in room coffee and water were great :-) Also pool and Jacuzzi, gym, and salon on the 15th floor were a pleasant surprise! Also liked the parking availability :-) and in-building Restaurant.

We were very happy with the accommodations. Parking was secure and reasonably priced. The pool area having a jacuzzi, sauna and balcony were excellent upgrades.

We recently spent five nights here as part of a package (tickets to the Canadian Grand Prix plus hotel and transportation). Our room was comfortable, spotless, and quiet. The staff are lovely and super helpful. The restaurant serves a decent cooked breakfast, not a buffet. We enjoyed dinner in the hotel restaurant one evening. We parked our car when we arrived and left it in the garage for the duration of our stay because there are so many things to do within easy walking distance, including an amazing array of good restaurants featuring a huge variety of ethnic foods. We enjoyed it here and recommend it for anyone visiting the area.

We've stayed a few times over the last couple of years here and one of the things I like is there a secure parking which is great. They did have an issue with the garage door so we had to actually go in through where the residents share the top part of the building but that was fine. Everything was clean orderly reasonably priced. Would like a little more water through the shower head but I know that's a government thing they force you to use these water saver shower heads but oh well. Now if you put your do not disturb sign on your door they actually will not clean your room. So if you're going to do that and you want the room clean make sure you take it off early. If they miss cleaning your room it's very easy to get a supply of towels that sort of thing that's all we ever need if we're staying at a place three or four days all we really want is a refresh of the towels. Along with toilet paper. I did notice it they tend to be a little miserly with the TP. But I just make it call to the front desk and it gets delivered up. They do have a nice restaurant there it wouldn't say it's gourmet but it has a decent breakfast fairly expensive which is what you expect because it's a hotel restaurant. But the staff is wonderful. They are very helpful. The accommodations are quite luxurious for a holiday and that's one of the things I do like about this building.

Stayed here for one night to break a long train journey from Quebec to Toronto. The hotel is conveniently located about 10 minutes' walk from the Gare Centrale and whilst situated in a busy main street, it was quiet and peaceful, even in my front-facing 12th floor room. The service at check in was rather low-energy and unremarkable but the room itself was clean, spacious and very comfortable, with one of the comfiest mattresses I experienced in my time in Canada on this trip. As an IHG Diamond Elite member, I enjoyed a complimentary a la carte breakfast the following morning which was very good but I'd have preferred a buffet-style breakfast to offer greater choice. The hotel is a short walk to St Catherine's Street, and about 15-20 minutes walk to the Old Town / port area.

We stayed in this hotel end of July , it's a new hotel, modern design, the room was very spacious & comfortable, the beds very comfy, comfortable bathroom , rooms have AC & coffee machine, close to High way & shopping, the breakfast was included and its a good breakfast.. the staff are very friendly

The hotel is located close to the highway, so you can easily drive to other locations. Staff was friendly and efficient, room was clean, quit and safe. We enjoyed the breakfast, basic, but good options, fresh and tasty. They had an omelette with cheese I really liked, I would like to have the recipe and try to make it at home. Weather was perfect for mid Sept, we enjoyed the stay, will come back, thank you for a good service.

This hotel totally turned around my previously ambivalent opinion of Holiday Inn. Conveniently located off the highway, it was easy to access and the check-in staff were lovely. There is a good selection of restaurants within an easy 5 minute walk. The room was large, clean, comfortable, and quiet. And unlike previous reviewers, I was impressed by the breakfast - not the nasty "continental" that I was used to in the past. And again, the staff looking after the breakfast area were terrific. Thank you!

Good variety of breakfast items. Food was very good. Clean hotel. Spacious room - well organized furniture for storing personal items. Attentive and polite staff. Coffee available at all times. Very hot water to make tea. Not all places accommodate tea drinkers. This was very appreciated. Attention to detail - I like the wedge in the chairs in the breakfast room to hang a purse.

HI Express hotel standards. Looks newly built. High ceiling do make a difference. Bright white and light colours for decor. Lovely HI. We also liked wooden affect floors instead of carpet, easier to clean. Rooms have two beds. Shower/Bath. Shampoo/Conditioner good quality. AC. Fridge. Pool, towels provided. Breakfast included. Bonus for kids they do fresh waffles. Very popular with guests. Free parking with plenty of spaces. Visiting from UK. Stayed here on travel around Ontario and Quebec. Seemed like a business park area. Nothing much around to walk to but convenient to break up driving.

Very nice hotel newly built , this is an upgraded version of the Holiday Inn suites . Rooms very clean , big and modern . The hotel has a nice private lounge room . Convenient free breakfast . It is next to the highway , not a go to area in terms of things to do but I was there for business so I didn’t mind . Staff is courteous. Some noise in Rooms facing the highway but even as a light sleeper I slept fine but more noisy in the morning. I will be back .

Check-in was very pleasant, staff were all friendly and helpful, breakfast was adequate for this level, the room was spotless and surprisingly comfortable. Everything we needed was there from USB plugs, to electricity sockets, to wardrobe space, hanging space, and aircon/heating that worked and was easy to control.

The lobby was big and bright and clean. Elevators super fast and quiet. Our room was very clean, loved the flooring with no carpets. Hotel felt brand new. Reception was friendly and fast check in process. Breakfast was included and the food was decent. Would stay here again

We stayed at this hotel during a very hot, busy week in mid June for a family trip to Montreal. The hotel was lovely with nice sitting areas and a fun Italian restaurant. (The Mexican restaurant was only open two days a week, and not during our stay). Staff was friendly and attentive. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, which was perfect for the five of us. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the towels were nice and fluffy. It was very hot during during our stay--in one room the air conditioner worked well, the other room not so much. The room was very clean. Breakfast was very good, with a lot of nice selections. Muffins, several kinds of breads, and hot breakfast choices, too. The eating area was spacious and even during busy times we were able to find a seat. The location of the hotel was away from the downtown area more than I had realized, but there was a metro station within walking distance that we used frequently. Having parking at the hotel was a plus, we paid $17 a day and felt that was worth it. We didn't use our car the whole time we were there, and use the Metro to get around. The hotel is located in a quiet, safe area with other apartments buildings, with a Starbucks and grocery store nearby.

From the moment we walked in, I knew this was going to be a great hotel. The lobby area is clean and welcoming. The check in employee was so nice! Parking was easy. The room was large and clean. It was so quiet at night! We slept like babies!! When we went to breakfast, I was surprised at all the option. They had lots of fresh fruit, muffins, banana bread, many other bread options, eggs, bacon, oatmeal. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate. So many options. The breakfast seating are was really nice, too. Not just square tables all in a row. Many comfortable seating options. The hotel is near stores and restaurants and close to the metro station, too. Check out was a breeze! We would definitely stay here again!!

I had an amazing stay here! The property is clean, modern, and cozy. Location was perfect as there were many shops and restaurants close to the property along with a supermarket very close. I initially had doubts about the distance to downtown Montreal. But the Namur train station was close within walking distance from the hotel which we enjoyed easy and fast access to various areas using our weekend metro pass. Rooms were amazing and offered plenty of space for our group of 4 travelers. Rooms came with a kitchen that had basic utensils, pots, pans, and glassware which were a wonderful addition to the rooms. Fitness room was small but does the job when you need to get a workout done in a jiffy. Breakfast was alright and you may have to wait for a table if the breakfast area gets busy. Overall, I had a wonderful stay here and will definitely be back.

This hotel is located in the heart of midtown, right next to the busy freeway. You can walk to restaurants and shops, but some walkways require that you walk near the busy freeway. The hotel have a grand lobby area and has an Italian restaurant that offers some good food. The breakfast area is spacious and offers a typical warm breakfast. The rooms are large, spacious with a modern bathroom and desk so one can do work as needed. The room is quiet and comfortable.

Bed super comfortable, gym facilities good, swimming pool great for the kids, and most of the staff was really helpful and welcoming. Family friendly environment. Location is close to subway station and not very far from downtown. Breakfast was really good with a good sort of options (buffet style). Also the staff responsible for the breakfast was really nice and welcoming.

Hotel staff is friendly, very helpful and had my request for extra towels delivered right away. There is a Starbucks, a French Patisserie and a supermarket on the next block, so this was very convenient. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, because we eat little for breakfast. There is a snack and refreshments store in the lobby, with a coffee machine where you can make your own coffee (at a good price), It was extremely convenient to have it available. It is on a residential area, and we felt safe.

I recently stayed at Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel is not only nice and clean, but it's also ideally located, making it a perfect choice for both leisure and business travelers. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and relaxing environment. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly. Overall, I highly recommend Hilton Garden Inn to anyone looking for a pleasant stay. It's a great value for the quality and service provided. I would definitely stay here again!

Very nice clean, quiet, hotel, close to the namur metro station to get all over the city without the hassle of the traffic, we went from the hotel to old montreal within 20 minutes, the metro is very clean and well worth the 11$/day for all u can ride, got to the biodome via metro very handy, staff was very friendly and nice, housekeeping was amazing, very clean rooms and fresh towels everyday, awesome experience, definately would recommend

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Pros: nice, clean, spacious rooms. Modern, beautiful views from our window. Comfy and large beds. Staff is helpful and friendly. Gym looked beautiful even though I didn't get a chance to go. There's plenty of stores around for whatever you need. Reasonably priced. Cons: A tad confusing at first when it comes to getting around, but once you understand how to get to public transportation, you are good. Not situated in the main area of Montreal and a tad out of the way, but still easy to get around.

The staff were nice and the hotel was modern and clean looking. They had a ice machine and a coin laundry on our room floor. Didn't use it, but it was nice to know they have. The location was nice, right beside a highway and walking distance to the metro. There was a grocery store and starbucks nearby too. Never seen a parking garage so clean and spacious before and all 3 elevators moved so fast. The king sized bed was comfy and room was modern and spacious.

Our only regret about our stay at Monsieur Jean was that we didn't stay longer! Seriously, it was better than the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac by far. The rooms were much nicer and more modern. The bathroom and shower was much better with more privacy and a larger shower that two people could actually shower comfortably together in. The rooms had a small kitchenette that you could truly cook anything requiring a stovetop with if you wanted to. The staff was amazing and super friendly. The view from the room was magical. The hotel bar/tapas restaurant were incredibly good and the included breakfast was beyond amazing--we were shocked that something that good was included. If you're deciding between Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac and Monsieur Jean, Monsieur Jean is the right choice (or at least should be the high majority of your stay). As someone who centers vacation planning around unique accommodations, I say this with full confidence!

Great location and quirky but fun atmosphere! The rooms were very clean, staff was helpful but quiet. We arrived during the German Market so parking was a bit of a mess the first night but resolved quickly after 8pm. Loved the views and the location. Smack in the middle of it all. I know some love the Frontenac but that seems too crazy to us (Disney’ish). We loved how private and quiet our stay was. Definitely would return. Breakfast and the bar were good (not great). Food for breakfast was actually very good but they kept running out of things and the kitchen staff were slow to replenish. Opted to go out most mornings at Le Buche which was outstanding. The location of this facility is perfect. We literally walked everywhere and loved that.

I took a solo trip to Quebec City and stayed at Monsieur Jean. I loved the Christmas decorations throughout the hotel and often sat in the lobby near the fireplace in the afternoons. They even light a fire pit outside in the front of the hotel. The staff were exceptional. Everyone I came into contact with greeted me during my stay and helped me mail my postcards upon my departure. The room was great, the bed was comfy and I like that there was a kitchenette even though I didn’t need to use it. The halls are quiet unless you see people heading to the elevators it was pretty quiet. I will say this is a dog friendly hotel but that was not an issue for me. There was no disruption during my stay. There is a beautiful cocktail lounge downstairs, Le Bijou, which had live music and excellent drinks. Bartenders are great! The location is very much walkable to everything including multiple Christmas markets, shops, and eateries. I would absolutely stay here again.

Truly a memorable stay at this unique hotel that was very modern, chic, and clean! I was very grateful for the staff's hospitality at the front desk, at the bar/breakfast areas and the cleaning staff. Our stay included the continental breakfast and it was not at all what I expected because it was actually good and we would have eaten there everyday had it not been for the short stay and we wanted to take advantage of all the great restaurants this beautiful city has to offer. Our rooms were wonderfully equipped with more than what I could have asked for. Water bottles everyday and even a small kitchenette that we actually never thought we would use but we did! Reheating some left over pizza. Overall, very satisifed and would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to this magical city.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable, though the mattress felt a bit worn. However, that didn’t take away from the overall great experience. The location is perfect—within walking distance to bars, restaurants, and major landmarks. I highly recommend staying here!

Unforgettable Stay in Quebec with my family and My Furry Friend. My recent trip to Quebec was nothing short of magical, and a big part of that was thanks to the incredible hotel I stayed at. I recently stayed at this hotel with my friends and had an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. A special shoutout to Annabelle at the front desk — she was absolutely lovely and went out of her way to accommodate us with an early check-in. Her warm and helpful attitude really set the tone for our stay, and we truly appreciated her kindness. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and very well-maintained. We also really enjoyed the facilities — the swimming pool and gym were clean and relaxing, and the buffet breakfast had a great variety and tasted fantastic. The very professional, kind and friendly staff at reception provided a truly welcoming atmosphere. Our room was perfect. It had everything you needed and was spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable and we slept soundly with no noise to disturb us. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty with lots of fresh fruit and a great selection of hot items. We have stayed in many airport type hotels but this is by far the best. Great experience at a very reasonable price. We would definitely stay again.

This place is amazing. We travel quiet often but this place was beyond my expectations. Super customer service. Clean rooms, swimming pool was clean, kids friendly. Gym was all clean and breakfast was amazing. My kids refused to go back home. Amazing service

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Home2 Suites. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. We were travelling with a baby and our dog and so the kitchenette facilities were extremely useful to us. We also enjoyed using the pool and ate on the patio more than once. With a dog, access to a patio and chairs was very welcomed. The hotel is located on the edge of the city, but as someone who has lived in Quebec for many years, I appreciated being able to head out from the old town and stay in a more calm part of town. It's only a 15 minute drive in to see the sights. The only hiccup to our stay was trying to get breakfast. The hotel was very busy and so there was too much traffic at breakfast - just bad planning in terms of the size of the breakfast area and the number of possible guests. It would also help if people made a little effort to grab their breakfast in a more coordinated way and didn't act as though they are the only ones who need to feed their families (nothing on the hotel, just a comment to the population haha).

We stayed at Best Western Drummondville on our way from Ottawa to Quebec City, and it was the perfect spot to rest for a day. The location is super convenient, and the hotel exceeded our expectations. It’s pet friendly, which made traveling with our dog much easier. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. We also enjoyed a surprisingly good meal at the on-site restaurant—very convenient after a long drive. Facilities were in great condition, and the staff was welcoming and helpful. I had a wonderful stay! The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, which made the whole experience feel comfortable and relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming — always ready to help with a smile. The location couldn’t be more convenient, with easy access to public transit, making it perfect for exploring the city without any hassle. One of the highlights was the indoor pool — a great bonus for unwinding after a busy day. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, this place checks all the boxes. The bed was quite comfortable and the room was comfortable temperature when it was +30 Celsius outside. The bathroom is a bit small but clean. The rest of the room was spacious and was clean. The Nespresso machine and coffee pods were fun to use. Unfortunately the tv cable did not work. Surprised that continental breakfast is NOT included.

Great hotel for the value. Clean, great and comfy bed. Naspresso machine in the room a bonus. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub and our dinner at the Pacino restaurant was yummy. Just missed the breakfast included. We didn’t have time to go into the restaurant for a hot breakfast at a cost. Would have appreciated the ability to grab a coffee to go for the road which is typical of the BW brand.

Great place to stay and right next to the subway. Very easy to get around from here. Room had kitchenette and jacuzzi! Parking was easy and inexpensive. Great value and the staff was flexible and helpful

Great location, close to Sherbrooke Metro stop and many restaurants. The front staff were friendly and helpful. The spa on the first floor is another wonderful reason to stay at the hotel. The small kitchenette with a two burner stove top, microwave, and bar fridge were helpful to have access. The jacuzzi in the room was also nice to soak aching muscles. The restaurant on the main floor serves delicious Indian-inspired food. The continental breakfast was included; the croissants were fresh, flaky, and crispy.

Had a lovely stay – chose room that included jacuzzi & loved that warmth and convenience. Next time might rather enjoy the beautiful spa downstairs with sauna and massage (to reserve even prior to arrival!). Kitchenette with basics, and the hotel is a close walk to restaurants and everything (or the Sherbrooke subway stop is just across the street). Most friendly staff, bien accueillants, un séjour super à côté du Square Saint-Louis. Merci !

Immaculate room! Clean, modern, spacious, equipped with everything you might need - kitchen, fridge, microwave, excellent shower and bath with strong/hot water, heating throughout, big TV with netlfix etc, large sofa bed, very comfortable bed and pillows, dining table, wardrobe, everything was fantastic!!! Breakfast was included and was also wonderful - fresh fruit, cereal, porridge, cold meats, eggs, sweet bread, croissants, toast, jams, butter, maple syrup, yogurts, coffee and juices. More than enough!! Very friendly staff and there is also an elevator! PERFECT location in a very beautiful area and on the best street full of restaurants and cafes! ... Also very close to metro and extremely easy and fast to get downtown.

This hotel is perfect for a few days to explore Montreal. It's in a great location for public transportation ( train station nearby and airport bus stops across the street). It's only a couple blocks to Ste Catharine St where there are numerous lovely restaurants. And, it's only a couple blocks to a grocery store and mall. The rooms are well equipped with comfortable furniture. The bed and pull out sofa were both very comfortable. The kitchens are perfect for making your own breakfast for an easy dinner. There is delicious coffee in a room with snacks and supplies available for purchase off the lobby. The staff is friendly and the hotel is very clean. We would stay here again on a visit to Montreal.

The suite on the 9th floor was spacious and clean. The queen-sized beds were very comfortable with duvets and supportive pillows. The suite has a full-sized kitchen (fridge/stove/microwave/counter/counter stools, cooking utensils etc.) with coffee provided and good-sized desk for work related activities. The bathroom was large with bath/shower combo and provided 4 sets of fluffy towels. The room is little dated (carpet and decor), but comfortable. The TV worked well with many channels in English and French. Windows awn open for fresh air, but do not have screens. Although there is A/C, the temperature in the room is set at 24C and doesn't allow for adjustment. Some noise came from the street, but we didn't hear anything from the hall or other rooms. Parking under the hotel costs $35/day and allows for in and out privileges during the stay. This hotel is within easy walking distance to Vieux-Port, rue St. Catherine, and many restaurants... an ideal location. It would be excellent for families, longer stays, and anyone who wants to be close to Vieux-Port.

Super close to everything downtown. Very quiet room, decent view, comfortable temperature control. Mattress was very comfortable. So convenient to have a kitchenette to save on food. Front desk people were very accommodating and they gave me a discount because I had a family member in the nearby hospital. It’s not a luxury hotel by any stretch, but it’s a very practical, comfortable and affordable option if you’re not picky about decor or special amenities.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Close to everything, shops, public transport, sights. Many things can be seen just within walking distance. The hotel is clean. The staff is delicate and very kind. Safe and quiet place. Extremely comfortable bed. The view from the 13th floor is impressive, even in bad weather the large windows and the light in the studio are very cozy and pleasant.

Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. I really like having kitchen unit with two queen beds. I did find these were not a true queen they were a bit narrower. Sadly beds were not comfortable. It was lumpy and hard. Pillows were great. Room was very dated and in desperate need for renovation. Bedding very clean, towels clean. Broken tiles, broken countertop arborite, drapes hanging, dust hanging off fixtures, floor crevices dirty all along edges by walls. I cleaned it myself. Hallways quiet. I felt safe. Great security features . Great location to bus and metro. I would stay there again.

We stayed here over Formula one weekend. Hotel was clean, breakfast was great and the rooms were very clean. We left early every morning to be at the race all day and when we returned our room were cleaned. I want to say thank you to the house keeper that carefully cared for and organized in the bed my daughters stuffed animals and even put headphones on one of them that our girls just loved. It's those little touches that really make a stay exceptional. Lots of great food places next door and within walking distance. Highly recommend Scores restaurant next door and the Pasta Bar restaurant. Thanks Holiday Inn for a great stay and making our F1 weekend even more amazing!

Upgraded to a suite on 4th floor (even numbered rooms face parking lot rather than highway). Bathroom had a very large walkin shower. All products are now wall mounted, in the shower (Dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash) and at the sink (Dove hand wash and body lotion). Nice touch is automatic night light when you turn off the bathroom light. Good quality linens especially the sheets. Fridge, microwave, coffe machine, sufficient drawer and closet space for a longer stay, wall hooks for an overnight stay. Breakfast area is well organized. Food area separated from tables and entrance and exit to food area clearly marked (one way traffic). Only the coffee station is in the table area. Staff at reception and in breakfast area very accommodating. Another reason to chose this hotel is location. Everything from a gas station to restaurants in the same "parking lot". Easy access off highway although exit not marked with Holiday Inn (exit 133 coming from the east). Stop in you won't regret it.

We travelled with our cat. I really liked the bathroom in our room. It was very spacious: there was lots of counter space for our toiletries and the cat's stuff. The floor was clean. Lots of room to have the cat's carrier beside the bathtub area and still get around the room. Grab bars in the tub could have been higher! Very very comfortable pillows! The window sill was almost wide enough to accommodate the large carrier we have for our cat. She enjoyed watching the traffic out the window while I supported the carrier at the edge. She stays in her carrier when in the main room in any hotel so she doesn't venture under/behind the bed or other furniture. Having the bed on a platform with no spaces would be a great idea. The rest of the furniture was very close to the wall so that a cat could not get behind it. There was lots of counter and bench space in the main room, by the way. Breakfast was mini omelets with green peppers: tasty. The only thing keeping this from a truly excellent experience was a noisy party about 1:35 am which woke us up out out of a sound sleep. The noise went on for half an hour or so. I didn't like to confront the (likely inebriated) people! Very handy to Exit 98 to Highway 30 for an early morning departure, when the (Sunday) traffic was lighter. We'll be back- just crossing our fingers there is no noisy party that night.

Our expectations for this hotel were low but, with one exception, they were all exceeded. Check in was pleasant and our minimalistic room, on the second floor, was spacious at about 540 square feet. It looked like new and would have had a fine view of the parking lot were it not obscured by an architectural feature. There was an in-tub shower and excellent bedside reading lights. Although the hotel surroundings had the appearance of an industrial park, they actually had a surprisingly interesting collection of shops including shoes, bicycles, candies and restaurants. Breakfast worked very well with a comprehensive buffet, plenty of space and smiling staff, and which was immaculately clean. The exception, then, was that we had been persuaded on the phone to upgrade to a suite. Our room certainly had the space for the furnishings that one would expect in a suite but in fact contained just a single office chair. Pictures on the website show a table and seating for relaxation. Perhaps the previous guest walked off with them!

This is a great hotel in which to stay, well cleaned, well sanitized and modern. The staff are amazing, accommodating, and as I speak English, they were very receptive in my language. I was a little concerned about the breakfast, knowing that it was going to be just, a bagged breakfast. My fear was quickly assuaged because when I was at the breakfast area I found that yes indeed they did have a bag containing muffins and juice and milk. What they also had a boxed breakfast consisting of hot eggs beans and sausage. It was not the full breakfast that I've a been accustomed to at this hotel, but it was a very close facsimile. One thing I need to reiterate, is the staff were fantastic and accommodating The reason I gave it a 4/ 5 is because I thought the nightly rate that I was given, was a little steep for a Holiday Inn Express.

We had a great stay at the Ville Marie Best Western. Everything was nice. The amenities had a feeling of newness and everything was clean and comfortable. We got great help from Danny at the front desk, who found us a room with a mountain view, which went well beyond what we were expecting. I general, very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk and also at the restaurant. We had a last-minute catastrophe with our trip planning and the front desk staff had everything sorted out in minutes and everything was taken care of more thoroughly than we could have imagined. This is also a great downtown location that is very convenient and near a lot of great coffee shops, restaurants and other amenities.

Our stay at the Best Western Ville-Marie Hotel & Suites was enjoyable and comfortable. The rooms were clean and well maintained, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore nearby attractions and restaurants. Staff were welcoming and helpful, adding to the overall experience. I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

I enjoyed staying in this Hotel with my family very much. The size of the room was perfect, much bigger then normally you see in the Hotel of this caliber. The ambience was pretty, I like the water fountain and decor of the Lobby. It was easy access to the next door Cafe - enjoyed having breakfast there very much. Location was the best, we walked everywhere - to museums, shops, restaurants, everything in walking distance. The beds very very comfy, spacious , bathroom was very big and clean, a big closet was very helpful to keep the luggage away from your eyes, making room look neat and well- organized furniture with everything you would need.

I recently stayed here, it's a nice hotel with friendly staff, very professional. Check-in was easy, and I was impressed with the size of the room. It was larger than a typical hotel room, which made our stay more comfortable. The hotel is very central, although they don't offer breakfast they have a restaurant and there is a Starbucks across the street. It's close to many amenities.

It was a very good stay for one night with my wife at this hotel. The entire hotel was very clean. It is situated at a very convenient location in the down . Easy to access transport and shopping. The room where I stayed was small , but very clean with all facilities, that is needed for a comfortable stay. The front desk staff was very helpful, especially Mr. Rafeek. I am looking forward for a chance to come back to this hotel. .

The venue is picturesque and historic, and the rooms are no better or worse than any hotel that might be more modern or a hotel that does not charge prices based on its historic reputation. A reputation that affects the room rates and restaurant prices. Everything was clean and seemed to be reasonably well-maintained. Beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was quite modern and adequate. We liked the locale on the shore of the Ottawa River. The massive log building and central towering fireplace are amazing to look at. The surrounding grounds are large, beautifully treed and landscaped. The Chateau is a bit of Canadian History and is worthy of a visit. The staff were very congenial and helpful.

Our experience at Chateau Montebello far exceeded our expectations. The property itself has a rustic charming feel to it and at the same time felt well maintained. Our deluxe king room was spacious and the bathroom renovated and modern although only had a spacious stand up shower and no bath tub (which we didn’t mind at all). The indoor and outdoor pools were both spacious and the most important thing is that they did not feel overcrowded, especially in comparison to the JW Marriott in Muskoka which feels overwhelmingly crowded, run down, and likely twice as expensive as Chateau Montebello. The main lobby area is impressive and the log structure feels warm and inviting. The hotel dog is also super cute. The food was generally good, and the service was friendly, attentive and excellent. In particular, Patricia from housekeeping services our room daily and went above and beyond what was expected as we arrived back to our room with shoes and toiletries meticulously organized and neat. Her housekeeping services are the best we have experienced in any hotel we have stayed in around the world. Although a bit harder to get to from Toronto compared to Muskoka, we would gladly drive the extra two hours to come here. We would definitely return here in a heartbeat!

Room was cosy, clean and tastefully rustic, breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of culinary options and dinner was scrumptious from the Caesar cocktail to dessert.

We enjoyed the Chateau immensely....Everything was great....The breakfast buffet was fabulous , but we found it a bit Pricey...The serving staff were all AMAZING...very friendly and effecient...The rooms were lovely and clean and housekeeping staff very helpful....It is our second time staying at the Chateau...both times were great...The grounds and walking trails were also fabulous...Thank you

Perfect resort for weekend getaways. All staffs are very friendly and in-room service dinning and brunch are in good quality . Our signature king room with river view is comfortable. Our dog likes the medium size dog cage which the hotel offers. Definitely will come back next time and recommend it to my friends .

We got a nice upgrade to our room with a jacuzzi tub… Very spacious. The best thing about any hotel is how good the people are, and yours were excellent, very polite and helpful.

The entire staff was amazing, from check in, needing ice at 1AM , cleaning was immaculate, doorman, wait staff. Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable. Mini bar was affordable. Great location, we saw Springsteen at Centre Bell , 2 blocks away , easy easy walk. Fine Art museum (awesome) and crescent street one block over. Restaurant was perfect for breakfast , excellent top shelf menu , fresh fruit, and restaurant manager served our plates as waitress was taking another order, Impressive ! We decided to lunch at restaurant again our last day , sat at the very upscale bar , and were served excellent craft cocktails and some of the best sushi we’ve had, by a very attentive young bartender. Great gym (everything in working order) Check out was a breeze and doorman had our bags in a taxi he hailed by the time we exited Definitely will rebook when we return

This hotel is in an excellent location, walkable to restaurants, shopping and a quick Uber ride to Old Montreal area. The hotel has a modern, minimalistic design providing a calm atmosphere. It has a comfortable lobby area with a fantastic little coffee shop, Bazin on site. Delicious espresso and pastries. Check-in in was quick and efficient and front desk staff were very pleasant. The hotel rooms scored high for me, very spacious, high ceiling, bright and light, parquet floor, huge bathroom, plenty of counter space and plug/USB outlets. Rooms were very clean. Soundproofing was really good so rooms were nice and quiet. Extra shout out to Federico the doorman, fabulous customer service from him, always friendly and provided assistance whenever we needed. Please recognize this employee.

Just finished a stay at the Vogue Hotel and it easily ranks as one of my favorite hotels in Montreal. The lobby is stunning — elegant, modern, and full of thoughtful design details. Grabbing coffee from the Vogue Café every morning was a highlight, and dinner at YAMA downstairs was excellent — beautiful space, great energy, and creative food. The room was spotless, stylish, and extremely comfortable. Everything felt high-end but still warm and inviting. Most importantly, the service was exceptional. Huge thanks to Loik and Hugo, who were incredibly helpful, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality stood out in the best way. This is exactly the kind of hotel that makes you want to come back. Already looking forward to my next stay.

Close to the hwy, clean, breakfast included (standard eggs, sausage, cereals, toast, juice, tea, coffee etc). Friendly and helpful staff when we checked in , knew all the answers to the questions, before we even asked them. Pool was open and clean.

Our stay was good. The staff are helpful but they never answered the phone when we would call the desk so we had to go to the lobby if we needed anything. The pool area is nice. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good with some hot options but they could use more seating. Lots of restaurants and gas stations around the area which was convenient.

Good room, comfortable if firm bed Good breakfast but shared experience with coach loads of well mannered school children. Thankfully we didn't want waffles & maple syrup, the childrens' favourite as they had long queues for them. Fresh scrambled eggs, sausages, toast, yoghurts, cakes & fresh fruit on offer as well as fruit juices, coffee & tea.

Staff and owners were awesome. Prompt responses through Expedia messaging from Joe; spotless, quiet, air conditioned suite; amazing view from rooftop patio; delicious continental breakfast delivered to room at exact time requested (best croissants ever!); lovely private balcony table and chairs for breakfast; fridge in room; access to freezer in common area/breakfast area. Charming, quaint Chateau. Although there are 2-3 flights of steep, narrow stairs, there are good railings and Tristan carried our luggage to our room. Interesting area with lots of cafe and restaurant choices. Offsite parking was close and worked well. Very walkable to Saint Jean Gate of walled city. We are seniors (late 60s/70) and we loved our stay here. Most comfortable and loved being close to pubs, shops and many food choices of Chateau area and Old Quebec. Highly recommend this quaint Chateau!

I had a great stay with my partner at this property. We were only able to stay for one night on our way out east, but were able to make use of the rooftop terrace (great view of the city) and tour the surrounding areas. The hotel is very well located, close to great bars and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and accommodating - Joe was a delight! The breakfast was incredible and COVID friendly (delivered to our door, we could eat in our room, in the the dining room or on the terrace… wherever we felt comfortable), which was very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend staying here.

A beautifully restored quriky old building on a street full of shops, beer bars, and restaurants. An easy walk to the Old Town, the Plains of Abraham and the St Roch neighborhood. We had a great view from our balcony and the rooftop deck. No staff on premises but they are very responsive and friendly by phone. A few minor issues: there are only two comfortable chairs in the whole place (in the common area). The lamps by the bed are not good for reading. Beds are comfy except for heavyweight comforters in the summer. Overall, a very pleasant place but they could make the common area (and the rooms) a lot more comfortable and inviting with the addition of a couch and a few more upholstered chairs.

My daughter and I had a lovely time while visiting Quebec. We each had our own attached room with a small balcony. It was very spacious. The location was perfect for everything. We especially enjoyed our breakfast at the bakery across the street which was included in our stay. Everyone was warm and friendly. The garage is located a few blocks down the road but was reasonably priced and it was heated which really helped during the frigid temps. We were located on the 3rd floor. Although there is no elevator it was not an issue. Needed the exercise after eating the yummy foods. Every time I emailed about a question I received a response quickly. I followed up with many of the suggestions for meals and they were spot on. If you have the opportunity to go to the Siberia spa it was invigorating. Our highlight of the trip was dog sledding by acompany called Nordic I believe. You can't go wrong staying here. It was a very memorable trip. Most things were all walkable within 25 minutes

Great facility overall. Photo of pool is a bit misleading - very small jacuzzi, but very pleasant rooftop deck. Bathroom walls were transparent and no sound proofing- so a little awkward sharing the room with a friend. Loved the coffee machine- would have been nice to have some tea and instant coffee available in the room. I really enjoyed the simplicity and cleanliness. Room is perfect for a ypung family to prepare food and for laundry. I really liked it on the whole!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Boxotel Montreal is the perfect little adult getaway! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the sleek, modern design and the welcoming staff. The rooms are stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. We loved the sauna and the steam shower. Unfortunately the rooftop hot tub was out of service. The hotel’s eco-friendly approach and attention to detail made our experience even more special. It’s quiet & intimate. W highly recommend it for a chic, stress-free escape in Montreal!

Had an amazing stay. Staff were friendly and informative. Room was spacious and had anything and everything we could ever need. Everything being eco friendly was a bonus. Coffee and breakfast were delicious. Near lots of great restaurants and music venues. Can’t wait to come back

I had an absolutely amazing stay here. I travel a lot, and I can honestly say it’s the most quiet hotel stay I’ve ever had. I heard no one in the halls, outside was quiet …amazing. The people who run it are so friendly and personable, the roof top area is lovely. The blanket was also by far the best hotel blanket I’ve ever used! Comfy, clean, just all around pleasant. Area was fine to walk at night, train station is a reasonable walk as well as a lot of dining options in the area. I 100% will be back, thank you guys for the lovely stay!

The café was amazing to sit and have coffee and snacks in the morning! Loved all the plants and ambiance. The dry sauna and steam room were fantastic as well! Unfortunately the rooftop hot tub was out of service during our stay. The staff we interacted with were very friendly and professional. Our room was great, loved the bathtub, shower, makeup mirror and toiletries provided! As it was a rainy weekend and we were out and about, it was great having a washer and dryer in the room! Mattress and bedding/pillows were also nice and comfy. Highly recommend and will stay here again on another visit to MTL😊
