The hotel felt very safe and the view from the room was wonderful. The shower and beds were great, and the jacuzzi on the balcony was a very nice addition. The staff were helpful, mainly the guy who brought the suitcases, who was extremely knowledgeable and nice.

New and clean. Sauna and steam room are wonderful. Pool is very nice too. Jacuzzi is average, not very powerful jets.

Great property. Go for the standard room. Definitely not worth paying for the room with the jacuzzi.

My wife and I live in Quito and we wanted to stay at a really nice hotel to celebrate my birthday for two nights. I reserved the King Suite with a jacuzzi on the balcony and we had a fabulous time at GO Quito Hotel. The hotel itself is gorgeous and everything is first-class. All of the staff at the hotel were incredible and they could not have been more courteous and helpful. Our room was on the 16th floor and was beyond beautiful with a huge big-screen TV, a large safe to keep valuables, refrigerator and coffee maker. I really liked that instead of providing coffee pods for the coffee maker like every other hotel, there was a jar of ground coffee provided. The best part of our room however was the jacuzzi. My wife and I used it each morning before we went to breakfast and each night before going to bed. There's nothing quite like sitting in a jacuzzi at night with a view of the city lights below and each morning while we were at breakfast someone from the hotel drained, cleaned and refilled the jacuzzi. My wife and I even used the hotel gym on our 2nd morning and all of the equipment was first-rate. The location of the hotel was excellent and my wife and I enjoyed exploring the city during our stay.

The hotel is super clean and has a stylish, modern feel. The rooftop restaurant offers a buffet breakfast and dinner with a nice view of the city. The rooms are spotless and thoughtfully designed with great amenities. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. Plus, the hotel is just a 10-minute drive from the Old Town Square (without traffic). Highly recommended!

Unbelievable place, huge contemporary rooms. Big jacuzzi tub and alpacas and other animals on the property. Perfect location to Quito airport, extremely nice staff and breakfast was great!

The jacuzzi was a really good feature and the breakfast was great especially with the alpacas walking around. And the distance to the airport is the best you can get at this price range.

This is a great location near the airport. We only stayed one night and we're very pleased with this hotel. We liked that we were able to eat there at their restaurant as we didn't want to leave the premises once settled in. They had many options on the menu for very good prices. Our room was very big with jacuzzi tub, walking closet and huge comfortable bed. They have a sort of hobby farm on site with lamas, chickens, rabbits, ducks, etc., and the outdoor area was really nice with lemon orchard, mature trees and a pond.

Location by the airport is convenient when getting into the airport late. A cheaper option than staying right at the airport. The property arranged a taxi for us. The driver who is the husband of one of their staff who is waiting for us in baggage claim with a sign. Breakfast included made to order hot meals with a few options each day plus fresh squeezed orange juice. We had the room with the jacuzzi and it was very nice and relaxing. Be mindful that there is no air conditioning or heat. So bring many different styles of clothes. The property was fenced in for safety and the reception staff we communicated with spoke English.

Great hotel with fantastic facilities. Big, spacious clean room. It is ways better than on the pictures. The views are amazing. It is very close to the airport and very convinient. The staff is great, friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was also good. They also have a little restaurant for dinner where everything was tasty. I highly recomend the hotel.

This was a super clean and lovely hotel in a great location within walking distance to parque Elijido and several restaurants and bars for night life. The front desk attendants were wonderful and extremely professional. They arranged for a car to pick up us from the airport at the last minute when our flight was delayed and we arrived at 4 am - they even sent us tea to our room when we checked in. The breakfast was great with pastries, fresh fruit, cheeses and cold cuts as well as hot choices and some typical Ecuadorian options . The fresh juices were also a treat. The location was great and much more affordable than the larger and more popular hotel right across the street and had beautiful views of the. It’s from the rooftop gym. Will stay there again during our next visit!

The hotel is conveniently located in the Mariscal district, which is known for its vibrant atmosphere. It’s within walking distance of several restaurants, cafes, and shops, making it easy to explore the area. Additionally, the proximity to the historic center of Quito is a significant advantage for tourists. The rooms were clean, modern, and well-maintained. I appreciated the comfortable bedding and the spacious layout, which made it easy to relax after a day of sightseeing. The large windows offered a nice view of the surrounding mountains, and the soundproofing was effective, ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep.

This is my new favorite hotel to stay at in Quito. It’s very clean, it’s in a great location and there’s little things like the central air fan is quiet, it has a bathtub not just a shower, and the breakfast buffet is excellent. I used to stay the Swissotel, I prefer the holiday in express and it’s half the price.

It was a lovely Hotel well run very clean and had everything you needed The staff was exceptional and the free shuttle was an extra convenience. My pickup driver spoke very good English as I unfortunately did not speak Spanish. All of this made me feel welcomed. Also while I had an early morning flight the front desk had coffee and tea and fruit as well as fruit bread that day starting at 2 am. This was most exceptional because usually there is nothing available till 5 am at many Hotels I have stayed at. The restaurant was also preparing amazing meals while I was having a, quick bite to eat. 10 out of 10 for sure

The location and the view are perfect. The staff are very attentive and friendly. They have an amazing restaurant on the property and a jacuzzi/massage spa.

Vista del Angel is a top tier hotel, super close to the historic 'old town' in Quito. We loved the view in the room, using the jacuzzi, and escaping some of the heat. The restaurant was particularly nice to eat at after a long day of excursions.

The views were incredible during the day and at night! We even got the lovely surprise of a room upgrade once we arrived. The jacuzzi is very relaxing and the restaurant was very good - great food and service. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing - granola and fruit, pastries and eggs are all included!

Beautiful small hotel with a personal touch. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast which was included in the price, the rooftop terrace, and the jacuzzi! Twice we opted to eat dinner at the on site restaurant, and the food was amazing. The location is close to the historic center of Quito but the walk uphill is quite steep; somewhat typical for Quito.

Everything was amazing from beginning to end. The kindness of the staff, the view from the hotel, the comfort of the rooms (the best bed I’ve slept in), a delicious breakfast and the beauty of each room so we’ll decorated. We loved that we could enjoy the jacuzzi at no extra cost. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back!!

The suite is very spacious & beds are comfortable. Jacuzzi in the bathroom is a lovely addition.

Loved this hotel! Spacious rooms and complimentary water bottles. The water temperature and pressure were great! Bidet in the bathroom was an unexpected bonus! The jacuzzi tub I the room was a blessing after long days of walking. Our tour group had a very tasty dinner in the restaurant.Breakfast gets plenty busy so get there early. The front desk service people were FANTASTIC! Very helpful with all my questions and needs- particularly the night clerk, Kevin.

Modern and upscale hotel, large rooms with a jacuzzi tub for 2. The 2 free drinks offered were gin and tonic only, the guy made them with gin and water and they were undrinkable. The included continental breakfast was good with pastries, toast, cheese, coldcuts, scrambled eggs, cereals, fresh juices.

It was clean, it had swimming pools and jacuzzi, there was a good spread for breakfast, great options for dinner. The bathroom was really lovely.

An incredible resort style hotel set in large gardens with beautiful, mature trees. Good food and comfortable rooms. It’s quite an experience to stay here and use the pool, sauna and jacuzzi. It’s a lot of fun

Excellent resort hotel 15 minutes form the airport. Our second stay here and we opted for the superior queen this time. We felt it ws worth the exra money. Love the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Excellent value for money

The setting of this hotel is lovely with beautiful gardens and an abundance of fresh flowers inside and out. Breakfast was exceptional with fresh fruit and juices, “home-baled” breads and pastries, and delicious hot breakfast options—eggs, sausages, tomatoes, etc. We really enjoyed the Ecuadorian specialties available on the dinner menu in the restaurant. Very happy with all aspects of our stay including the free shuttle to and from the airport.

We had been travelling in Ecuador for 4 weeks and had an overnight stop at this hotel. It was so good in every way that we decided to return for 3 nights at the end of our trip. We weren't disappointed, everything was perfect - the beautiful old building, the modern and spacious rooms, the grounds, the food , all the up to date leisure facilities, especially the new gym. Above all the staff were friendly, attentive and could not have been more helpful.

Stayed here on a Smithsonian tour and loved it. The room was large and clean, and the bed was super comfortable with good linens. We had a nice breakfast with a good variety of food including crepes! There was shopping nearby and some restaurants but we ate in the bar twice- the potato soup was excellent and the food was very inexpensive. We got massages, which were good, and did a thermal circuit but the jacuzzi, saunas and cold plunge are separated in the women’s and men’s locker rooms so I didn’t get to join my husband. Would stay here again.

What a perfect stay!! I had five nights in an incredible room. It was amazing hospitality in a gorgeous hotel with a very attentive staff. Clean, safe, and what a view! Breakfast is fantastic. I would visit a thousand more times and can't wait to bring my family back.

We chose this hotel for our first trip to South America because we had brilliant experiences with a Swissotel in Izmir, Turkey - and we couldn't have made a better choice! Wonderful spacious suite with breathtaking fews, a fantastic pool, hall, bar, the executive lounge with lovely food and drink and an even better few - I don't even know where to start. It was all wonderful, but the best bit is the staff. Everybody is helpful, patient, so friendly and helpful that you feel like royalty. Especially the wonderful people at the executive lounge and at the reception deserve a mention - and the gentleman by the lift who always helped my wive finding her way. And the gorgeous people in the Spanish restaurant ... and and and. This hotel is a treat. Don't miss it!

The hotel is beautiful; it’s 40 years old so clearly has been updated. Room great, all common areas sparkling. Our favorite place was Bar le Point. Emerson was our bartender and was so very attentive and helpful. Enjoyed the bar food very much. One night we had sea bass and goat stew. The second night went lighter with crispy shrimp and grilled octopus. Drinks were excellent! Room was very clean and fully equipped with Nespresso machine and automatic shades including optional blackout shade. Concierge was very helpful and helped plan two great days before heading to the Galapagos.

The staff was beyond kind, accommodating, courteous and always smiling. The location was central and a bit away from all the busy traffic - which you would never even know existed. This old world charm - neighborhood boasts of amazing atomically placed art galleries and delicious eateries, artisan coffee and antique shops with relics from around the globe. Located close by and major tourist attractions and shopping. The hotel features a resident dog who is so cool! The roof top restaurant & bar is the best view in central Quito. The food was simply delicious.

Very unusual and unique experience with wacky decor which was very fun! Staff were very friendly, breakfast was nice, the area was nice and quiet at night. There’s a good pizza restaurant nearby too! Comfy and warm beds, very clean and WiFi was good. It was nice having a big tv too. Highly recommend!

Spent 3 nights here. Newish hotel in old town. Beautiful old building that has been renovated with care. Comfortable bed, good bathroom with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was included and tasty. Rooftop dining area and bar has amazing views over old town . Communication with staff difficult if you don't speak Spanish. Close to shops and squares but not as central as some other hotels. Located up a dark street if walking after sunset. No filtered water available in rooms.

My stay here was amazing. The hotel staff were very friendly, forthcoming, and extremely helpful. As I was traveling alone they supported me with planning and executing daily activities in and outside of the hotel. They made sure I stayed safe and advised me on what to be aware of while walking alone in the city. I also enjoyed the choice of various restaurants for lunch and dinner ranging from local food to sushi to American / European food. The facilities were exceptional (large room and bathroom, comfortable bed, beautiful outdoor pool area, spa, large fitness with many machines, weights, mats, etc., restaurants, large entry lounge with a pianist in the evening,..). Thus, it is possible to happily spend the entire day in the hotel facilities. All in all the hotel exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

The hotel makes a nice stay over when transiting via Quito to the Galapagos or other destination in Ecuador. Staff and service were great, very welcoming and helpful. We ate dinner in the Botanica Restaurant and found the service and quality excellent (try the Tempura Shrimp entree). The heated book was very welcome and while we did not have time to use it, the fitness center was large with a great selection of modern equipment. The Executive Lounge was nice with a protected outdoor sitting area. We had breakfast there and the choices were great, with a cook making custom eggs (including an excellent Huevos Rancheros). The hotel is a bit dated, but in excellent condition. The main downside is the location, in the financial district, which closes down at night. Hotel staff warned us not to walk outside after 6pm. It is about a 20-minute taxi ride with traffic to the historic old down, so not convenient if you have a short time and want to explore. It is about a 45-minute drive to the airport compared with 1.5 hours from the historic city center. So, depending on how early your flight departure, it may be a better option than a hotel in the old town. Several Galapagos cruise lines use the hotel as pre/post hotel stay with flight connections.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! The first thing I want to point out is the mattress. Even though many international hotels, even expensive ones in Quito, have much firmer mattresses, this Marriott has the signature nice American type hotel mattresses. After two weeks on hard mattresses, my back and muscles were super thankful for this place. Upon arrival, you see bellmen with top hats and long tail coats. The entrance is covered and on a corner, setting the building apart. As you enter, everyone says "Bienvenidos." Efrain at the front desk was absolutely wonderful during our check in and check out process. Every worker is well dressed and very friendly, going out of their way to tend to you desires. Four restaurants onsite including their own where breakfast is served. Breakfast is worth every dime! If they have it available at check in, they may try to upsell your room. For $60 per night we received breakfast for two, a 10th floor larger room (versus 3rd floor, view is AMAZING), and access to the executive lounge. If you can do it, just say YES!

Beautiful hotel in a central location. Very welcoming staff. Drinks and food at the Kaori restaurant were excellent. Huge arrangements of roses fill the lobby. Breakfast buffet at La Botanica was a wide array of fresh tropical fruits and juices, eggs, breads, waffles, oatmeal etc… everything you would expect at a JW! A lush tropical garden with waterfalls and ponds off the lobby and restaurant. My husband and I had a lovely visit!

Stayed two nights as part of a pre-cruise air package organised by Silverseas. The door staff and reception were excellent, very welcoming and efficient and the checkin process smooth. We had a deluxe room which was a good size/amenity and view of the Volcano, but being in level three you could hear the noise from the restaurant/disco in the forecourt areas, which thankfully stopped at 10pm. On the upside, we had a window that opened. On the first evening, we had eaten at lunchtime, so looked for a light meal, the only availability being the lobby bar which wasn’t great, especially with fairly loud music. On the bright side food wise, there is an excellent cafe in the adjoining shopping arcade and the specialist restaurant, Botanica, offered an excellent Ecuadorian menu, the food was excellent but the service from the kitchen very slow. Breakfast was an excellent buffet and egg station etc.

The room was amazing, very bright, great view. Clean, comfortable. Nice local breakfast. Quiet, as it is off the main road. Fairly good choice of restaurants within walking distance.

Very clean and the rooms are modern and spotless and the view to the outside is unhindered The shower and water are excellent and there is a Jakuzi in my room which I wasn't expecting .Breakfast is self-service and varied and there is the option to order other food such as eggs etc .

The room is a good size. Bedroom & bathroom is good. Room is clean, the area is safe. I was happy with the breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful. It was easy and convenient to stay in the hotel. I would not mind to stay in this hotel again.

We chose not to stay in Quito city as we needed to be back and forth to the airport. So this hotel offered a good midway point, and we were really glad we chose it. As well as a much shorter ride to and from the airport, the hotel is smart, tidy and comfortable, and has possibly some of the most helpful staff I've ever encountered. We had an issue with one flight, and they did everything they could to help, including lending us a phone for several hours while we were on hold. Martin and Michelle were particularly excellent on reception. And Mohammed in the restaurant was very friendly and helpful. We needed to stay an extra night at the end of our trip, and it was a very easy decision to come back here. Highly recommended.

This hotel is amazing: the rooms are big and the jacuzzi is fantastic.

The room was very nice. very interesting design with the bathroom and jacuzzi below you. The staff was very nice and friendly and the owner ALWAYS made sure we had everything we needed. we booked several tours and transfers with them and everything was superb! Breakfast was very filling and cooked on the spot (not buffet). Don’t know the layout of Quito to know if it was a good location, but there was a beautiful, safe park directly across the street and many restaurants within a 5 minute walk.

This is a very cute boutique hotel owned by a husband and wife. They are really accommodating and the place is kept very clean and very well appt The hotel is based next to El Ejido park which has quite a lot of shops and things going on. Which is handy for food and also shopping. The artesanal Market of mariscal is just 8 mins walk away It is also handy to walk to the old town. Takes about 15 mins The breakfast is basic but good with a variety of fruit, eggs and bread and coffee The rooms are the most unique part as some has a jacuzzi tub in it

This is a family run hotel. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Needed google translate at times as my Spanish is not that great and not all of the staff spoke English. But we had no problems at all. Breakfast was great and they were quite flexible with our timings. The art work and decor in the hotel was really wonderful and Ecuadorian. We left bags here while we traveled out of Quito and there was no problems with securing them again. Yes I would recommend this hotel. The Jacuzzi in our bathroom was an added bonus.

Superb and rand new rooms. Great bathroom and hottub, confortable bed, sheets and bedroom, super clean. Very safe private parking where i lzft my car until 5 pm the following day. Exceptional and very helpful staff. They helped with my bags, kept them after I left, offered free tea and coffee all day, nice breakfast. They ordered dinner for me and set it up in their dishes in the dining room. It was cheap and really great. It is close to the park and the market of artisans (walking distance) and on sunday i saw an amazing local dance show in the park. Highly recommended!! It made me feel wonderful.

Hotel was good. I experienced no buildings that had interior heat or air-conditioning as Quito has a year round nominal temp range of 50F to 70F, so bring layers of clothing that will keep you comfortable through this range (+/- 5F). Worst was hot water for shower was a bit dicey, but once I got the hang of it I could generally get a comfortable shower with few brief chilly surprises. As I traveled in Ecuador more, I found that this was not an unusual situation. The place was clean, the staff helpful and friendly. The included breakfast was OK but not particularly substantial and the coffee was good. This is a very good location for exploring the Historical El Centro district (old downtown) walking and via public transport. It is not particularly good for night life, but the "entertainment district" is a brief taxi ride away. The business district is a bit further away by taxi.

This hotel room was fairly small and modestly appointed, but for the price, I certainly could not complain. Most importantly, it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. The hotel staff was friendly, however they lock up tight after 10 pm and I arrived at 11 so I'm not sure how I would have gotten in if I didn't have my phone with an international roaming plan with me. The free breakfast was great -- not a stale doughnut and bad coffee, but a nice omlette, fresh mango juice, and excellent coffee. Hotel is located a very short walk from the Centro Historico so perfect for sightseeing.

Amazing location in the historic centre. Staff was friendly & helpful, even made me a cup of tea & a snack when I arrived late the first night. Bed had warm, cozy blankets & the room was cleaned and fresh towels replenished everyday! Lots of cute patio spots to enjoy & get some work done while sitting outside! Breakfast was simple & yummy. Hot water in the shower worked most of the time. I was a little cold- a mini heater in the room would have been amazing! A few dollars cheaper to get a taxi right from the airport instead of using their transfer service!

I stayed at Rincón Familiar for a total of 8 intermittent nights and the bilingual staff couldn't have been more helpful. From offering me a room w/ fewer stairs (due to my infirm leg); to storing my rollie when I headed to Ipiales, Colombia for a night (to see that incredible "Las Lajas" basilica spanning across a deep river canyon); to the owner personally driving me to the airport at a discount ($25 when Uber was then asking $31+). And most especially - one of the staff accompanying me to a nearby pharmacy on the day that I arrived in order to buy a 2 week internet plan for $10. Not only a safe/secure location close (5 min. walk) to the main sites in Quito Old Town and plenty of economical restaurants nearby, but super clean, large comfy rooms, and a hearty (varied) breakfast each morning.

Located very close (2min walk) to Quito Old Town where the famous Churches, cafes, restaurants, shops are. Staff was helpful and friendly. I arrived before 9am (after an overnight flight from Santiago) and was provided with a room to rest for a few hours before transfer to my room. I truly appreciated this service. What I also appreciated was the (free) loan of umbrellas for guests. It rained almost everyday I was there; typical Quito weather. Breakfast was superb with some variations (unlike other hostels which offer the same menu everyday). The room was clean and with adequate supplies of soap and shampoo. The rooftop is great for views and some peace & quiet. * For those who wish to join day tours, make sure you ask in advance, what is included in the price and what is not included (to prevent unpleasant surprises).
