We frequent The Peppermill! Always a great experience due to the entire staff always being friendly and helpful, comfortable clean rooms, delicious dinning and amazing specialty drinks. But was rather surprised and disappointed at checkin this time. I selected a more expensive room this time by reserving a room that specifically noted that it came with a jetted tub.this was a special occasion and an important factor in reserving this room.Only to be told that it did not have a jetted tub. And there will be no competition nor accommodating when I asked for a different room. She didn’t seem to care that it was quite deceptive advertisement because I did not get what I selected. Yet still got to pay the price of the room with a jetted tub.Upset, I asked, for future bookings how do I go about avoiding this issue again. She just told me there’s no guarantees but calling might help.I will be calling the hotel to try and figure out how to avoid this in the future.

Room was very clean, dual TVs, comfy chairs, beautiful bathroom, property was very clean. Bed was super comfortable! Large jetted tub was a plus. We really enjoyed our stay. The black out curtains were all electric, but didn't want to close all the way, we had a few light leaks. The bathroom was large and had a steam shower, but the glass shower door was hard to open and close. Minor inconveniences. The parking garage was under construction and a bit loud as our room was on that side, but not too terrible. Small complaints aside, we would 10/10 stay here again! The room was awesome. Wished the resort's dining facilities on the Casino floor would be more knowledgeable and accommodating for food allergies.

We had a toddler with us so a bath/shower would’ve been nice. Also, there was room for a double vanity but we only had one sink. The thermostat was a little tricky to navigate as one of the buttons was hidden by a sticker and our view was a wall a couple of feet from our window. All that being said, our bed was comfortable, the shower was good and the restaurants had great service and delicious food!

I always stay at hie but this time I was very impressed with the staff and shuttle service I feel the staff went above and beyond to help me make me feel at home. I would have liked a tub vs shower but I will live without one. Also. the jacuzzi could have been warmer. Im happy when my hie has a pool and jacuzzi.

For our short overnight stay in Reno, our family decided to stay at the Holiday Inn Express given it's proximity to Reno-Tahoe Airport, as well as it's good reviews on Trip Advisor. All in all, our stay was comfortable with friendly staff, recently renovated rooms, and a clean environment. Rooms vary in size, with one of our rooms being a "suite" featuring a sofa bed, while the other was much smaller but similarly equipped in terms of amenities. Having booked with points, neither room featured a view – in fact one looked straight into neon lit porte-cochère – while the other into an alleyway, but given we were staying for less than 12 hours, we didn't mind. Complimentary breakfast was available, with a reasonable selection of cereals and oatmeal, some fruit, and a couple of warm dishes. While far from exciting, it provided a solid start to our day and we found the breakfast area to be clean and well maintained. As others have stated, while it's not the most exciting hotel in Reno, it does offer a clean, comfortable, and safe place to stay. Perhaps the only improvement we would have liked to see is an EV charger in the parking lot. With nearby hotels offering chargers, in the future we will likely be swayed to staying there given the convenience of charging overnight.

Is it the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in? No... ...But it’s definitely one of the best in Reno. I have no complaints about my stay here. My room was clean. It was more spacious than your average hotel room. The beds were comfortable. Basic amenities and needs were meant. Hotel staff was respectful and Covid guidelines were followed and enforced. Many hotels either stopped serving breakfast during the pandemic or their breakfast options are scarce. THIS hotel manages to still have a decent breakfast without sacrificing safety. While Reno itself can be a bit of a whacky city that doesn’t always feel like a safe place, you feel none of that in this hotel. This is a peaceful, comfortable, safe place to stay—and it’s fairly close to almost everything worth visiting in Reno. It may not blow you away, but it’ll get the job done well enough that you’d have a hard time thinking of reasons NOT to give them 5 stars.

We loved our stay here. The property is extremely clean, the staff is warm and personable. Convenient access to the interstate and beautiful views of the mountains. We had a first floor room with King Size bed which was very comfortable. My only complaint about the rooms is there is only one overhead light in the entry. The remaining lights are desk or table - and at times we wished we had more light. The stay comes with a hot breakfast bar which is very good. There is a wide range of options: cereal, cold favorties like yogurt and milk, fresh made waffles and pancakes, and hot options such as scrambled eggs, omelettes, saugage, and bacon. Finally - big plus to me was in the bathroom. I have long, thick hair and the small sample-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner are never enough. I have grown accustomed to traveling with my own toiletries because of this. This hotel offers full sized bottles of hand/body cream, soap, shampoo and conditioner. And the shower is amazing- great water pressure. In reading other Reno reviews the water pressure seems to be an issue in the larger hotels, No problems here.

I had a wonderful stay at this Holiday Inn Express Reno Airport by IHG! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The location is peaceful and safe, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. The hotel was also spotlessly clean, which really added to the comfort of my stay. Highly recommend!

This was probably the best stay along a cross-country road trip. The hotel is new, hip, & fun. The location was super-convenient to what we needed to do in Reno; the airport is right nearby but we weren't bothered by the noise. The room was cute & comfortable -- loved the little table where we snacked & had breakfast. In the evening, after dinner, we ordered drinks at the bar & sat outside. The bed was comfortable & we were rested for our next long day on the road. Would 100% stay here again. Also appreciated not being near the casinos or having to park downtown.

We stayed here after a late night flight from the east coast. It was the perfect hotel, just a quick walk away then a hot shower and comfy bed. The next morning I made myself a complimentary lobby coffee (with honey!) and walked back to the hotel to pick up the rental car to head up the mountain. Easy, convenient and a perfect welcome to Nevada!

Great property, very modern cool room. Super comfortable, great amenities. Great bathroom setup and shower. Nice and quiet. Friendly staff. Safe and free car parking. I wasn't using the airport but opted for here as a safer option than downtown.

We have previously stayed at the Airport Sure Stay. It is an older property and really needs renovation. This hotel was about $10.00 more a night than the Sure Stay. It is very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the staff was extremely friendly. It has a bar onsite, but we did not use it. My husband is handicapped and requires the roll-in shower. Most roll-in showers create an additional hazard for him as the drainage on the floor does not have good flow to the drain and the bathroom floor gets very wet. This was not the case here. They have a park-n-fly option for $15.00 per day and is well worth it. Will stay here again.

I have been staying at the Whitney Peak since they opened in 2014 (I was so excited to find a hotel in Reno that wasn't a casino!) - and it has just gotten better over time. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, very clean, and nicely decorated and all of the staff is friendly and professional. We love the location - we can easily walk to the River Walk, the Nevada Museum of Art and some of our favorite restaurants (we also love the restaurant in the Whitney Peak). It's also a great value.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. It was our last minute choice at night with two kids on long weekend when Wyndham cancelled our reservation due to overbooking right upon our arrival (people say that’s is a norm for them now). It was such a good coincidence as Whitney Peak Hotel turned out to be great - renovated with beautiful decor, picturesque views, friendly staff, BaseCamp Climbing Gym, free WiFi, tasty food at the cafe, filtered water machine is available at all floors. convenient location. You might meet some nice pets there, love it. No pool, but we usually don’t use it so not a problem for us. Highly recommend this place ❤️

Dog friendly and dog park is just outside. Our cattle dog loved his complimentary swag bag and made a beeline to the the cookies upon each return to the beautiful lobby. The restaurant is very nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. Loved the water bottle fill up on the floors to reduce plastic bottle usage. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. Great location, easy walk over to Riverwalk dining. Loved being downtown and casino adjacent without having to stay in a hotel with a casino - much more relaxing.

Friendly staff, WONDERFUL room - clean, comfortable beds, great renovated bathroom! I loved the smoke-free and casino-free aspects. The gym was great, and it was interesting to watch the climbers there. Location was decent. The only downside is the parking a little inconvenient (you have to park across the street or valet your car.) The restaurant downstairs was lovely, very good food and EXCELLENT home-made lemonade! The waitress was super-friendly and fun!

Whitney Peak made our stay comfortable and relaxing. So convenient to the Amtrak station, too. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our meals at the restaurant and the servers were very attentive. We would stay here again.

This was a very clean hotel with spacious rooms, a comfy bed, in a convenient locale near Hwy 395/I-580. Nearby are restaurants, a mall with a wide range of stores (some high-end). It is quiet. Our room had no exceptional view, but stepping outside, one could see the snow-covered mountains to the west of Reno. Very nice overall and a good value stay.

The rooms are very clean, comfortable and spacious! It’s located in central Reno so close to everything. There is a clean gym with lots of equipment , a pool, the staff is always very pleasant and the complimentary breakfast is wonderful!!! Must stay here!

Our Reno stay was great at this location for our first time visit. This 4th floor King room overlooked the mountains for a couple of pretty sunsets! The room was clean and spacious with desk area dividing the room to create the suite with a sofa on the other side. Fridge and Keurig in the room too. They offer free self serve breakfast each morning until 9:30am-options vary daily. (The quiches were delicious!) When we asked for housekeeping service, we were directed to let the front desk know (as we did not need it everyday of our stay). This hotel location was easy to get to downtown Reno and back as it's right off the highway. We enjoyed great day trips to Lake Tahoe and Virginia City (cute mining town with a ton of history and ghosts!) Check it out if you have time! Hotel was walking distance to Sierra Gold for some late night fun!

The staff are very kind, professional and helpful. The breakfast selection includes both hot and cold items, along with a tea and coffee bar. There is an on-site restaurant with select set of local options- some of which are gluten free and celiac safe including chicken wings and french fries! The rooms are full of amenities, with choice levels of pillow firmness, comfortable beds, and views of the surroinding mountains. The shuttle service to the airport next door is easily obtained both to and from. I am choosing to stay here again for my next two trips.

Stayed here during the great Reno windstorm of 2025 and had flights cancelled two days in a row. Thankfully I was able to stay at my favorite little hotel in my favorite little city. Shout out to Kay and Anita for going above and beyond and dealing with an extreme weather situation and frustrated guests with ease. Love staying here when I visit the casinos to make Super Bowl bets and see all my favorite restaurants and coffee (RIP Cafe Capello I miss you already) Hotel is always clean and 5 minutes from the airport. Breakfast is free and as a vegan I do appreciate the oat milk, fresh fruit, oatmeal, and cereal options. Something like chia pudding with oat milk would be a great addition to the breakfast menu as another vegan option. The rooms are quiet (when the outside winds aren't 50 mph) and spacious. I won't stay anywhere else whenever I visit Reno.

Breakfast was surprisingly good. The fruit selection was high quality and fresh and the area was kept well stocked and clean. The room was clean, comfortable and large enough for an adult and 5 kids! The staff was hit or miss as far as friendliness but everyone did their jobs well. I appreciated that the addition of our dog was only $75 for the 3 night stay vs. the $50 per night at the competing hotel. We felt very welcome with our pup, which was especially appreciated. Would recommend heating the pool - it was quite cold, considering the warmth of the room. We would absolutely stay here again when in the area! It's a great value and convenient to Lake Tahoe, Reno, etc. Well done!

The room was spacious and it was perfect for a quick night before an early morning flight. Beds were lovely. Bathroom was not very updated and showed its age, but was clean and comfortable. The check in experience was so lovely- the woman checking us in packed us breakfast bags when she heard we’d leave before the buffet. Her kindness made the stay!

Very close to the middle of everything yet quiet and relaxing. Loved the pool and jacuzzi.

Right across from the Reno baseball park, this hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Reno. It is very clean and quiet. You can walk to casinos, restaurants, and the Reno Event Center all within 10 minutes. The amenities in the hotel are typical with a coffee bar and bistro available. There was a microwave and fridge in the room. We had a river view and could see the ducks swimming and hear them which was fun. The bed was a little firm for my taste but still the room was clean and quiet…2 must haves for me. The front desk people are polite and check in and check out was easy. Public parking is in the garage next door and you do pay $10 a night for it, but it is convenient and your hotel key gets you in and out privileges. Overall-I would definitely stay here again when coming to Reno. I also recommend Dark Shot Coffee and Mellow Fellows Bar and Grill right across the street. Both great places for food and drink!

This was a last minute change of plans when our Airbnb reservation ended up being a disaster. We looked on hotels.com and was able to grab a better deal than calling to check the rate- So obviously we booked it thru hotels.com. We checked in around midnight and the front desk staff was friendly and made us feel relieved to know we had a clean, comfy place to rest our heads for the next two nights. Our room was very clean, nice updated amenities, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, safe, AND a bin for recycling which made my eco friendly heart sing! The shower had reasonable water pressure and the beds were quite comfy. The heat was set for 70 but we like to sleep in cooler temps so we pumped the temp down and opened the window for a couple hours and the temp kept a steady 68F thru the night and the following day. TV worked great, wifi seemed to work well and the front desk accommodated requesting more towels when needed. We chose not to have any servicing of our room all day since we felt it was not needed. There was food offered for a fee but the prices were a bit steep and we already had brought breakfast items with us. We didn't have any issues with noisy neighbors. I also noticed recycling containers around the hotel which was impressive to me that they were highly visible for guests to use. We had a rental car and used the parking garage for fifteen/day- pricey but still less than the Airbnb total. Sounds like years ago parking was free but not anymore.

Beautiful, peaceful property with everything we could possibly want. Spacious updated rooms with fridge, microwave, bathtub, comfortable beds and bedding. Outdoor seating to enjoy a meal or drink with a river view. Restaurant and bar onsite.The pool and hot tub are outside next to the trees but fully covered for an indoor/outdoor feel. One of the most spacious and welcoming lobbies I've seen. Parking is in the garage across the street but it was not inconvenient. I would definitely stay here again. Casinos are nearby if you want to play but stay in a quiet environment.

We had the BEST stay here. We got an amazing upgrade. Corner room with magnificent views. Every single staff member was professional and kind. The restaurant is really good. You can sit inside or outside with a front row river view. The fresh brioche bread with avocado or made as French Toast was a favorite. If you need to be in that area of Reno, I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Every interaction with staff members was excellent. Every employee was very helpful. We had adjoining rooms with one being a suite, and it was perfect. The restaurant was convenient with excellent outdoor dining. During our stay, the hotel was busy with a wedding and other parties, but besides seeing the people in the lobby, we would have never known there were such big events going on. The elevator was fast and we never had to wait long. The floors and rooms were quiet and clean.

Staff were amazing! Easy to enter property and on site parking. Wish the parking lot was covered, but it was on property so convenient. Decor is modern and lovely with an up scale feel. Room was really nice. Restaurant and bar area was great. Stag were so friendly and food was excellent. Will definitely stay again.

Checkin was smooth & fast with very friendly staff. Our comfy room was clean, uniquely decorated with an unobstructed view of Reno & the mountains. Cool game/bocce ball room & bar. And of course great location along the Truckee River.

Enjoyed the pet friendly stay at Renaissance. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The spa is welcoming and relaxing. We enjoyed the Shore Bar and the patio by the river.

After a horrible experience at another hotel (checked out immediately due to uncleanliness), I was driving around by myself with a newly operated on puppy at night looking for a place to stay. My husband called this hotel and asked for a pet-friendly room on the first floor. When I arrived the lobby was cozy and clean. The front desk attendant was very kind. My room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and I was placed on the first floor near a door outside which was very helpful! They also have a nice small off-leash area for pets.

This is the second time we stay at this hotel and we continue to love it. Clean, comfortable, convenient, and friendly staff are the reason why we love staying here. Check out girl was super nice and friendly- asked how our stay was and acknowledged us as soon as we walked into the lobby to return our keys. We will be staying here again soon.

I really liked this hotel. It was clean and quiet. There was a nice pet area. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable. The only issue I had was that they tried to charge me another $130 and then $30 without talking to me and I have no idea what it is for. I had already paid in full when I checked in so it seems like some shady, sneaky tactic to get more money out of me. Or possibly they thought I had another person staying with me but that is not the case. It just really bothers me that they didn't even talk to me about additional charges BEFORE trying to charge me.

The lady at the front desk was friendly and forthcoming. Even though there was a notice up saying that there wouldn't be breakfast due to construction she still made an effort to put out muffins, apples, juice and coffee which I really appreciated. All in all my stay here was good. Notes to the property owners: *A non-slip shower mat would be good as the bathtub can be slippery

Breakfast was really good, coffee, tea, pancakes, milk, cereals, and more. Location is good, almost 20 minute walk from the airport. Wifi in every corner. Staff was really helpful!

The room was clean and comfortable. When you walked in, it smelled nice. The couple at the front desk were very polite and helpful. Had a chance to chat with the Night Auditor whe. I checked out. Very friendly.

Only concern is that the bottom sheet didn’t look clean. I could see an effort was made.. The motel is also a ways from good coffee or breakfast.

Ice machine on my floor was out of order for several days. The jets in the jacuzzi were out of order.

We were there on a Harrah's charter.. Everything was wonderful.They met us upon arrival with champagne. Food choices were excellent. Even the coffee/snack place near the lobby had delicious sandwiches and breakfast sweets. Our room was at the end of the hall.It was so quiet,clean and spacious. Bed was comfy, shower was excellent.Really enjoyed having our room cleaned every day.We were totally surprised at this. So many hotels are still understaffed and don't clean every day. Casino was great with lots of action. We would stay here again anytime.

We only stayed one night. The young man that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We liked the fact you had to scan your room key to use elevator. Lived the Mountain View room. Room was clean. We did notice. Bathroom/shower area were really small and no fan. The bed itself was very soft like sleeping on a marshmallow. The pillows were awful. You only got 2 and they were lumpy and flat. Should offer at least 1 firm pillow. Funny when we were checking out we were gonna fill out the card that came with the room keys. The room had no pen or scrap paper. So we had to check out using the TV. Oh , we called to make a reservation at Gordon Ramsey restaurant. The information they wanted was ridiculous. Plus we had had to give a credit card because if we didnt attend dinner after reserving we would be charged. The food was wonderful by the way. Staff was great. Whats up with the tiny gift shops? Plus why are they closed so early. People are up late and would shop. Should open at 8 am. They need more variety as well. I probably wouldnt stay there again.

The Silver legacy is a good time. The staff are so helpful and friendly, the rooms are clean and quiet, and the restaurants are plentiful. Any cuisine you like. The gaming is fun and I won a lot. It is connected to the Eldorado and Circus Circus It was a good time

The walking at times can be difficult as the escalators seem to be constantly shutdown meaning find an elevator or up and down stairs. Not good for elderly folks! Casino is disappointing. 99% computerized games. To find real play, you have to go next door. No real concierge's working. The booth is maintained but my opinion is they are just bodies as they know nothing of area and can’t actually book anything for you. Don't bother asking for suggestions, they have none. This ridiculous resort fee is nothing but a ripoff. What am I paying $44 a day for? Stayed here for a convention and was not displeased other than the fee.

Stayed overnight to catch an early flight out of Reno. Check in was easy. Stayed across the street from main casino in the sky tower. No activity in that location. The room was spacious, quiet and clean. Bed was comfy. I was able to self park my car free for 7 days until my return ( at my own rusk!). Shuttle to and from the airport starts at 4:00 am. Very convenient for me. Property is old and needs some updating. Lots to do in the casino including a family friendly arcade. Not much activity this Thursday afternoon.

First time staying at Circus Circus… came here for a concert at the Silver Legacy. Everything is walkable. The escalators and elevators can get busy at times. Parking is convenient and free, no validation needed. The room is clean and the bed is comfy. The rates are reasonable. We’ll be back in August for a 3 nite stay.

They got it right this time with friendly and helpful service, providing me just what I asked for. The room was quiet and comfortable with simple decorations, but enough room to sit and to do some work. Elevator service was extremely quick. The only negative is that there are some street people around and one night coming back to my room I got a very bad vibe and had to find security. You are downtown.

I reserved a suite, it had a windows on both sides. It made the room nice, bright, and sunny. The room is huge, bathroom was large with 2 sinks bath room and a walk-in closet. The shower and toilet room was a bit small, they could have made the shower and toilet room bigger. It had a big jacuzzi in the middle of the room. The bed was huge and comfortable. Electric operated curtains, a nice touch. This was the second room, the first room was with very strong smoke smell, and front desk changed the room right away, the second room was 4 floors lower, The front desk service was very friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the bell desk was very kind and helpful, I asked him for directions to the conference room, and he actually took me all the way there and showed me a short cut way by using the elevator to the conference room. Very good stay!

The property and inside the casino area were clean. The staff made use feel welcomed and very polite. The Pro’s… The room was clean and quiet. Was more than I was expecting to get for my money. The view was amazing for being a corner room. The bed was very comfy and sheets were so clean. The water pressure in the room was way better than some showers and tubs I’ve had at other casino’s. Con’s… Needed more lighting. The room was kinda dark and gloomy. Toilet was a tight fit with being right behind the door and sharing what little space there was with the shower. It took over 30 minutes to get the water high enough to run the jets in it. The 2 middle jets some flaws, one jet barely worked and the other bottom center jet works, just the cover piece for the little jet kept stretching my lower back cuz the cover piece was broken. Last… Need more coffee pods and sugar/cream. In our room there was 1 coffee pod and it was actually tea in the rack thing. Then there was only 2 packets of sugar and just a couple of other “sugar”s”. There was no conditioner at all. Can’t believe in order to get more coffee pods, you have to pay for them. That’s crazy, since other casino rooms give you as much coffee pods as you like along with as much sugar and creamer you may need for each cup of coffee. I would stay here again.

While overall our stay was pretty good, the beds were surprisingly comfortable and the pillows were great. Bedding was clean, stocked with plenty of towels. This hotel experience fell very short in a few ways. First of all, I upgraded to the executive or whatever is the third step up? And the room was very lack luster. Totally fine, I was just confused. There wasn’t even a microwave which is wild to me. The shower was old and crusty, very outdated. Our view was nice over the mountains, lots of fun sightings of drug deals on the top of the casino’s parking garage. The other huge thing that was not great was the elevators… they sound like they are all almost broken and on 2 run… there would be hoards of us trying to fit in these things at all hours, just waiting forever. Staff was awesome, everyone I encountered was really helpful and great, I was just confused on how everything was so broken down. Maybe still recovering from the economic blow of Covid? Either way, I probably would not stay again, although the Millie’s restaurant downstairs had seriously amazing pastries and gelato that made our day pretty much every day.

Excellent location, clean, friendly, We were served by an excellent team member ahí name was Dannie if I remember correctly. He was very friendly and helpful especially when we arrived, I was traveling with two handicapped auntie and my elder father. I asked him if he could accommodate us in a manner that I wouldn’t have to struggle with some things and Dannie was very helpful made sure we felt comfortable and welcomed to El Dorado!

Very clean and quiet. Fish and chips at the Silver Legacy was excellent. Gelato and coffee at the eldorado coffee were great! Airport shuttle was on time. I would stay again.

It also has a cafe area if you just want to get a coffee and run. The grounds were nice and clean. The pool was closed so not sure if it’s nice or not. The sitting area in the courtyard is nice with a fire table and plenty of nice seats to enjoy being outside. The only semi bad things was the mattress in the room was not the most comfortable and the rate we had to pay being a busy weekend. Other than that it was a good experience. Excellent value for the money. Very clean and nice decor. While not what I would book for a "special occasion", it proved to be conveniently located, pretty quiet despite being on a busy street, clean and updated and staff were genuinely courteous and helpful. On-site breakfast/lunch restaurant is convenient. Had to catch a plane in the early AM and it was a 5 minute drive to the airport and traffic free. Note; In traffic drive time could be closer to 15 minutes.

Great location and reasonable price. I stayed here for 3 weeks in July for business. The rooms are spacious, have a separate bath and sink, great water pressure, comfortable beds with a medium firmness, microwave and mini-fridge. The floors are hardwood with a carpet-like mat around the bedframe. There is also a small lounge couch/day bed in the room. The lamps have USB sockets and the radio also has USB sockets. There's no closet rather, there is a large clothes hanger frame with an attached shelf for your luggage. Much roomier and easier to access than a standard closet. No breakfast is offered. Grocery store is only a 10 minute drive with traffic and there are multiple fast food restaurants around the area and across the street as well. Solid motel with nice, clean, spacious rooms.

This is an old-style motel/hotel that's been totally (and nicely) renovated. Everything is new, modern, and clean. The location is pretty central in Reno, close to the highway, and with plenty of parking. Two Chicks breakfast restaurant inside is great. It's a good place for traveling workers or for temporary living. I definitely wouldn't call it a vacation spot. The price was also great - similar to other hotels that aren't nearly as nice.

My room had a lovely view of the pool and inner courtyard, which made the atmosphere very relaxing. The pool area itself was inviting for all ages and a great place to spend time. I also appreciated how well-lit the property was, including all parking areas—it gave me a real sense of safety. Inside the room, the thoughtful touches made the stay extra comfortable: the built-in luggage rack (plus an extra one for companion luggage), carpet under the beds that felt surprisingly cozy, and of course the refrigerator and microwave, which are always a huge plus. Thank you for providing a property that balances attractiveness, comfort, and affordability. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

You are either going to love this hotel, or not. I fall to the first category - I really enjoyed my stay! As I stepped into the lobby on arrival and stepping into my spacious room I felt transported back to the 1980s. The attention to 1980s detail was remarkable - the oak furniture, soft furnishings, popcorn ceiling, carpet color and pattern, floor tile color and motif, mirrored sliding closet doors, brass lamp-stand, wall art, frosted shower doors, etc. Everything was clean and in excellent working order. The bed was big and comfortable. The airconditioning was silent and effective. Views from my 16th floor room were spectacular, despite a neighboring high rise. The staff were friendly and helpful. This time capsule experience was a very welcome reminder of a bygone era and a refreshing alternative to modern accommodation alternatives void of any personality. The hotel is conveniently located and gives excellent access to the river walk promenade. Lots of restaurants and entertainment within a short walking distance.

It is an older building so the rooms are not modern and narrow. Feels very 80’s with the heavy wood but i liked the regional art work and it felt cozy like a relatives home. My daughter had fun in the pool with her friends. The staff at the bar were chatty, nice and welcoming. The coffee machine by the pool table was handy. The building is non smoking and front desk staff were nice and helpful. The location is nice for walking to restaurants or doing the tiver walk. The parking is handy. All around good value. Its not a place to see and be seen, but it is a nice place away from the Casinos and seems like a good location for downtown nightlife as well. There is also a nearby community market and you have a fridge and microwave in the room. Many brewpubs with outdoor seating a close walk across the river.

Onsite amenities like the indoor heated pool, fitness center and outdoor deck were also a plus. They do have a onsite bar and coffee shop but it's only open Weekends. I loved that the Riverwalk, coffee and food were all within walking distance. The Riverwalk is beautiful!! Free secured Wi-Fi & Onsite free parking too!!

I enjoy staying here. This was our second stay in two years. We came for a concert. We loved the free shuttle from the airport to the GSR. We ate at Johnny Rockets and The Grand Cafe. All our food was delicious. We played at the arcade, enjoyed the pool and bar. The concert was easy to walk to from our room. We also played at the tables and just had a great time overall. The room was clean, spacious and the beds were comfortable.

Self check in kiosks were fast and easy to use. No standing in the long check in line. The room was large, spotless, elegant and comfortable. Restaurant choices without reservations were limited due to a large convention. But we had a nice meal at the bar. The Grand Theater was huge, had comfortable seats, and the show, Rain, was excellent. Our only complaint was the smoky casino. Yuck.

A friend and I went for a quick, short, impromptu girls' trip. The staff at all points we friendly, helpful, and fun to talk to. The food options were good. We just wish the buffet was open on Sunday dinner (when we were there). We will be back!

J Resort is located in a great part of Downtown Reno. Location is perfect for walking around. The rooms are nice and big and we enjoyed the kitchenette and large balcony!! Casino is very modern, a good size. They are the only Casino I have found that has the Crazy Money slot machine!! It also has a great steakhouse and the ONLY Buffet in Reno. They offer free parking (garage & outdoor) and have a outdoor pool & spa. Pool was enjoyable with plenty of chairs, tables and umbrellas! Pool Area Suggestion: Turn the music up a bit and add an Ice Machine!! Overall, we enjoyed the J over the other hotels we have stayed at in Reno. The hotel's exceptional service and comfortable amenities made for a truly enjoyable stay. We definitely will book again the next time we're in town!

We were there for the volleyball tournament for 4 days. We love the place, room is clean and in good condition and price is reasonable. They dont have fancy restaurants but their coffee shop is good enough for our morning needs and staff at the restaurant are attentive and friendly. Special shout out to Christine, black jack dealer for being so warm, friendly and fun to talk. Spent a long time playing (did not win) but we enjoyed our time with her. Hope to see her again next year!

We stayed in the skyline suite on the 14th floor. This room was amazing! Very spacious with a living room, kitchen, bedroom with full bath and another half bath off the kitchen. Perfect room if you are traveling with a group or kids. Very clean. Bathtub was a dream! This will be our go to place in Reno! J Paul’s steakhouse was amazing! One of the best meals we have had. Casino has lots of slots machines and a few card tables. Hotel has a pool as well. Short walk to silver legacy, maybe 15 minute walk to river walk area.

Very good stay at J Resort My first time and I was impressed. The only things it lacked was an in-room safe and a hook in the bathroom to hang wet towel. It was very quiet. The restaurant Hannah’s Table was a breath of fresh air after visiting other resort restaurants. Food was healthy and fresh and less expensive than other places. The staff was upbeat and helpful. I will be staying there from now on,

I had the BEST experience at the Comfort Inn in Reno. A lock on the door and clean sheets are usually enough for me but these guys go above and beyond. The rooms were spotless and the beds were comfortable. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. I was stranded due to a cancelled flight and they set me up with extra toiletries that I needed, quarters and soap for the on-site laundry, and allowed me to check in early (I returned not long after checking out when my flights were cancelled for the second day in a row). Hot breakfast was great and if I weren’t exhausted from traveling I would have loved to use the fitness room. Airport shuttle was a major plus too. Amazing hospitality, thank you so much!

property was a little outdated but we enjoyed the stay. clean beds and housekeeping service was a huge plus. bathroom was nice and cozy, i'm happy that nothing was broken or needed repair. the shower mat was nice and thick not like some other hotels we've stayed in. bed was comfy, although both beds squeak it was fine. desk and chair was nice and it wasn't worned down like other places. the breakfast was okay...we only enjoyed the apple juice, eggs were watered down and we don't eat sausage, so breakfast was a no go for us. Would I say here again...maybe.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Reno. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the sheets and pillows are soft cotton. Free breakfast in the morning is a big plus and there is free coffee 24/7 by the lobby. The place is a short drive from the airport, downtown Reno, and lots of restaurants and groceries nearby. Room rates are very reasonable. All in all, this place is highly recommended.

My trip was awwsome. The rooms were clean, the windows opened which was a plus. Breakfast was amazing, and the dining area was kept clean at all times. The cons were I would have preferred whipped cream with my strawberry waffles and a galss of milk. But overall my stay was amazing. I do recommend and I will book with them again

The gentleman that checked us in was very efficient, friendly, and professional. The room was very claen and modern. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and modern with the vanity outside the door from the shower and toilet, which is nice. The hotel was quiet and we slept very well!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable and our room was very clean. I could have stayed a whole day in bed due to how clean and comfortable it was. The pillows were the best pillows I've ever slept on! Price was one of lowest price in area, especially for quality of hotel you get. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Very clean rooms and comfortable beds in a good and safe location. Check in was fast and easy, staff was very friendly and it is beautifully decorated. The Gym was state of the art- machines are well taken care of and maintained. I would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Great stay if you need a clean bed, hot shower and bath, fridge and microwave, quiet room, breakfast and dinner at restaurant on the premise and a bar too. It’s right across the street from Reno International but you cannot hear any noise at all. This isn’t LAX! We wanted to be near my sister’s work while visiting her. Plus, we have stayed here before and I’m a Best Western Rewards member. My family would stay again!

While this is an older property that may look dated, the location next to the airport is fantastic (one can actually walk along a sidewalk directly from the terminal, across a crosswalk, into the hotel property - safe and easy to do). The room was comfortable. I noted that the bathroom and shower were updated. My room looked out towards the west side, and was very quiet. When I accidentally left an item behind, the staff, especially Yenmy, was very helpful in locating the item and shipping back to me. That kind of friendly service makes all the difference. I would stay here again.

Front desk staff were very helpful. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Please note that the hotel restaurant (Lemon and Lime) now serves Indian food for dinner but still serves traditional American breakfast

This hotel is clean, fairly prices and the staff from the front desk tot he housekeepers and the restaurant and bar are fun to see time and time again. It is the only place we stay in Reno and we have stayed in a lot of different places. But this one is nice. Not new, but comfortable and nice.

Very clean hotel, beds were comfortable, room was very clean. Good price, quite even with the airport nearby. Guest services was friendly and quick to get you checked in. AC worked great. Lobby was being updated and it was clean also. Plenty of parking. Shuttle to the airport.

The room was a good size with kitchenette, dishwasher, large fridge & freezer, dining table that rolls up to the couch, and even a curtain to separate the sleeping area from the living room. The bathroom door is one of those trendy barn doors, and doesn't give much privacy for noise. The shower looked nice. The view was decent with the mountains, but the view on the other side of the hotel was probably of the airport. It was hard to fall asleep because we could hear the traffic below from the 4th floor and the air conditioner was very loud. Bring earplugs! In addition, the comforter and top sheet were the thinnest I've ever seen. The bed wasn't the most comfortable I've slept in, but I didn't wake up with a backache, and the pillows were comfortable. The building has a feeling of being old on top of being expensive. The toilet paper is ultra thin, but at least the towels look fluffy and new. There were no employees around at 10pm, so we checked in online, but they have a store with small wine bottles and beer($6) and frozen meals and even an ice cream for dogs. The best part of our stay was the breakfast with several options uniique to Hilton -- 2 omelettes (1 was egg whiltes), 2 breakfast sandwiches, and 2 breakfast bowls, as well as oatmeal with toppings, a waffle maker with toppings, whole fruit, breads, cereals, and prepackaged fruits and yogurts. There was no airport shuttle, so we took a Lyft for $15; and they didn't offer any perks or water bottles for diamond members.

I loved all the counter space in the room! 6 if us could easily fit our luggage on the counters! I lived the cozy beds, the mountain views, the friendly and helpful staff, the delicious breakfast with a wide array of hot and cold options. The omeleta were amazing! The only change I would make ia to put a locking door on the bathrooms.

I loved the location…I loved that it’s a little on the outskirts and not in the thick of busy traffic areas. I felt very safe there which was super important to me cause we are a family. The staff were super friendly. My room was absolutely clean and felt fresh. I loved that my room had a good size fridge and nice little mini kitchen. The pillows are so comfy. It was very quiet which was nice too. I really enjoyed the pool area which was very clean and set up nicely with plenty of towels available for swimmers.

Always a wonderful place to stay. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past few months. Each time I enjoyed myself immensely. Great friendly and welcoming people, clean rooms, fresh and tasty breakfast. It’s my go to place when visiting Reno.

Included breakfast was convenient, suite style room was great for a family of 4, hotel was clean, quiet and well maintained. We had a very comfortable stay.

I needed a place for a 1 night stay on a Saturday night in Reno and the Victorian was one of the few that didnt post a low rate on booking com just to get you to book and then have 5 other BS hidden charges within the price . Many others had " resort fee" and additional made up taxes so they can stick you. Upon arrival I was greeted by Al at front desk who was friendly, explained parking gave me wifi password and my mission was a success. Quiet ground floor room, coffee maker with proper coffee pods and reg creamer as well as flavor, and nice toiletries kit with shampoo and conditioner along with a bug king bed

The unit was large, very clean, and had a nice area to prepare food. The coffee in the room was delicious. The beds were very comfortable. The heater worked fine and was quiet. We liked the tile floor, much nicer than carpeting. The bathroom had plenty of soap, shampoo, conditioner, and clean towels. Our unit was on the ground floor and we could park right outside the door. The Victorian theme and room decorations were really nice. We will definitely stay here again.

When I’m on the road, the most important thing to me is that my room is clean no bugs in a decent condition. Hot water and good pressure from the shower and minor amenities. Microwave refrigerator TV coffee service and that’s what this place has. It’s old and the furniture is a bit scruffy, but everything is serviceable. The staff are professional and friendly. This will be the place I go to anytime I’m coming to Reno.

This is a great budget motel. Clean, charming and with friendly staff. I ended up staying here three nights when my car broke down and they were really welcoming to me. Felt safe as a solo female traveler. Microwave, coffee and fridge in the room. Great value.

OK perfect budget motel. Lovely staff. The room was pure "grandma." The bedding was higher quality than I expected. The bathroom and carpet are older but clean enough. Spacious room, coffee maker microwave and I think fridge. Best of all very quiet. Right by I-80, so if Reno is just a stop over this is the place. Parked car right by my room which I really like. Enter the room from the lot (I don't like having to drag all my bags through a lobby, maybe use an elevator just for one night. I feel safer if my car is right by my room. Single woman of a certain age.

My son and I had a two bedroom suite on the top (9th) floor. The room looked like it was recently renovated with new flooring and fresh paint. One BR had a private bath, the second shared a bath off the kitchen, both had a tub/shower combo. The room was quiet, the beds were comfortable. There is a fee for WiFi, but your don't need it if you are using a device with phone service. Everything in the Riverwalk District is in walking distance, and there is secure underground parking. Staff was very friendly and accommodating (above average).

This is probably the best property in downtown Reno. The units are very clean, modern and comfortable. Great views of the City and Mountains from most floors. It is a 2 minute walk to the casinos. Most of all it is very quiet, great sleep experience with comfortable bedding and linens. The front desk staff is very helpful and accommodating. Jeff on the front desk went out of his way to assist me with a late check out. I will continue to stay here based on my excellent experiences.

It’s close to casinos but not right next to it, just a convenient and quiet location. The only caveat is this location does not offer free wifi. Other than that, it’s comfortable, clean, well appointed, and has a nice kitchen.

A nice Gym that I took advantage of..Air Conditioner worked great.. The Bed was so Comfy.. Really not a thing bothered me & I am picky… yes its Virtual which was new to me but turned out to be quite easy.. Texting or calling they are very responsive…& kind. To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. I think like most people, I was worried about the lack of personnel on the property and the virtual nature of the hotel. But it was honestly quite a wonderful experience. The rooms were nice, cozy, comfy and clean. I was very happy that it was secured with a gate and codes to get into the building. It felt very safe and made us feel very comfortable staying in the downtown area. We came and stayed here during our wedding and they catered a little welcome gift for us for our stay and it was a great way to start our wedding vacation. It made us feel very valued as customers. I liked that when I asked questions by text that I was met with prompt answers. It made the virtualness of the stay feel easy. I think the only thing we didn’t like was that when it was the morning of check out, at 9am in the morning, someone was trying to get into our room (obviously a staff member seeing if they could start cleaning) but there was no knock and nothing stating on our end that we were checking out yet. We still had two hours left and it felt a little bit like an invasion of privacy. We even got a text while they were trying to get in stating that check out time was 11am so I’m not sure why they were trying to get in so early. Besides that, our stay was amazing and we will be staying again in the future

Nice safe clean place. Thank you for accommodating us on such short notice. The room was safe and clean and had the things we needed in it. I would ask the owners to maybe put a pad of steel wool under each sink because you can’t clean non-teflon pots & pans with that little sponge they give you. It’s impossible. It took me 3 days to get the egg off. It wouldn’t cost much to provide steel wool. There was a ton of noise coming from the person in room upstairs all night long until 4 AM on Friday, Sat, & Sun (my husband got up to see what was going on and he said it was a group of young guys smoking weed outside by the lobby door and then coming in after 11 pm very loudly partying till 4 AM), but they do provide earplugs in your room to help cut down on the noise. Please consider posting a sign by the hot tub that says no glass because people had wine bottles and glass wine glasses right on the edge next to the hot tub. Luckily none fell into the tub whew! We own a hot tub and know how hard that would be to clean up. I would stay here again even considering the things I mentioned. Thank you!

New and clean! Beds were very comfortable. Virtual check-in was different but easy to understand. On 4th floor. No need for the ear plugs as it was quiet whole time. Don’t put more than 8 oz in your Keuurig coffee maker as that is all the coffee mugs hold. Would definitely look into staying again at another Kasa in the other cities they are located.

Clean, quiet and had everything we needed. Appreciated having a dishwasher and laundry in the unit (with laundry and dishwasher soap provided.) Also a toaster and hot water kettle and all the dishes we needed to feel like we were at home. Gated parking and car charger nearby were great. Comfortable bed for sleeping and couch for relaxing. We felt safe there and would definitely stay again.

Friendly staff. Strange location. You'll have to drive to any restaurants/groceries/fuel. Impressive breakfast. Coffee available throughout the day. It's in a quiet part of Reno, which we appreciated. We had our kids with us and it was nice not to be surrounded by city noise. You'll need to drive to any restaurants or grocery stores. The room was spacious and clean. Full size fridge, microwave, and 2 burner stovetop. We didn't need to cook, but it would be a nice option if you stay for an extended time. Small pool, no hot tub/jacuzzi. Overall, I would recommend this place.

The room and property is very clean and modern, nice breakfast, wonderful warm pool and jacuzzi with clean towels and water bottles, fitness room is nice, spacious room, windows that open. We had to leave earlier than expected and staff were so sweet about it and didn’t charge us. Will definitely stay another time. Nice, quiet area, close to downtown, no busy casinos around.

We enjoyed our stay at Homewood Suites. It’s right by Meadowood Mall which is a great location for shopping. I needed a bathtub and they accommodated me. The hotel was a bit dated with interior but room had a great kitchenette and the beds were very comfortable. They had a basic breakfast buffet with good choices, but glad I brought my own coffee drip because the coffee they have in the rooms and at the breakfast don’t have a good flavor but I’m extremely fussy about my coffee. I wish they had a loner old style coffee maker I could have borrowed during my stay but that probably an odd request. Homewood Suites also has a full gym and business center. Stephanie and Shayla at the front desk were there when we checked in and always very friendly and personable to deal with and tried to accommodate us during our stay with everything even though the hotel occupancy was at full capacity. They always checked to make sure our needs were met. My husband is a Hilton Diamond Members and would have liked to have been acknowledged. That is the only criticism that I have for Homewood Suites by Hilton.

Crystal who checked us in and was there daily during our trip was phenomenal, she truly went above and beyond with her Wonderful, Professional, & Caring Whole Hearted Customer Service. Our suite was perfect size, clean, and up to date. AM breakfast buffet was hearty and delicious, WiFi worked for entire family just great w/o slowing or glitching, parking was free- near to entrance, and easy to find. All the staff was friendly and helpful, but most of all Crystal as she made me and my family’s first time in Reno worth taking to celebrate my dads 80th birthday.

I stayed here with my dog. I am a solo traveler, and I felt safe. My only complaints are the breakfast is grab and go which was coffee prepackaged muffins and prepackaged oatmeal or multigrain bars. No hot meal for breakfast. these rooms are non smoking however, above the shower in my room there is a bunch of yellow bubbles or something on the ceiling like someone had been smoking in there? Also, there is tons of garbage in the little stream right next to the hotel.

We were in the process of moving, our new home wasn’t ready. So in looking for something close to where we were moving, this was a great spot to stay, staff were very friendly,the quick breakfast was perfect. The room was very clean. Hotel was very quiet. The check in staff was helpful and friendly. We had 2 pets and the pet area was good but a lot of cig butts and misc. trash which needed attention. The beds were comfortable and clean. Being pet friendly, I was pleased with the overall one night stay. The location was convenient as well.

Stove to cook there is dishes, silverware and pots and pans but need to put a request in. There is a nice size kitchen sink to wash all your dishes and pots. Bathroom nice size with a nice size to take a bath tub and shower. Like how's there is bars to hold on to while in bathtub take a shower. I really liked that the facility was clean and affordable. so many times you get one or the other at other places. the staff was really nice and friendly. it was quiet and no Riff Raff/homeless bothering you. plus they are pet friendly.

I enjoyed the comfort of a very clean environment. The moment I checked in, I didn’t approve of the smoking room give. They immediately exchanged my room to an upgrade without notice. My television didn’t work because of the previous guest, plugging up their game box. The maintenance. Crew immediately corrected this issue. It took a few days because the staff had difficulty but they never gave up. This location was perfectly safe, comfortable and convenient. They stayed on top of cleaning as well as, any minor issues that any one could have experienced. It’s totally worth the value of residing here at this facility. I’m impressed.

The room was nice and clean. I had asked for a quiet room and this was just that -- 4th floor with a balcony. The bed was comfortable. The kitchenette had what it needed for two people for a couple of days. Close to where we needed to go without all the casino-stuff. We had a much better Reno experience being in a small hotel over a casino hotel (stayed at one of those last time, and were not impressed). We had our meals at small local restaurants -- Thai Chili, Smith & River, Höma'ge, Walden's Coffee House, Nevada Chocolate, and visited sights like Rancho San Rafael Regional Park, Wingfield Park and the Truckee River Walk. All recommendable. We plan to return.

Great location and is one block from a food co-op. Studio was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. there is an indoor pool and sauna. Having a kitchenette made it easy to make healthy meals and saving money on eating at restaurants all the time but also having the option to eat at some great restaurants that were within walking distance. this place is actually within walking distance to all the places that we wanted to explore. We will definitely stay here again

Really exceptional service. Everyone was very courteous. Ron, Raquel, Christopher, Isiah, Yasmine, Penny, and everyone really were very considerate. They made us very comfortable, especially as a family with special needs child. Kids loved the indoor heated pool and adults loved the sauna. Discovery Museum is on a walking distance. On Wednesday 4-8 they have discounted tickets which are at a bargain price. There is fun and activities for all ages to enjoy. It's a really fun place. There are plenty of eating places. Our favorite was Alladin's. The chicken and beef kabas were tender and rice was fragrant. The platters came with a choice of salad and soup. Soup was a steller. Even my picky eater ate it and asked for more. We plan to come again and recommend to our family and friends

The staff was exceptionally helpful and informative. I came to the hotel via Amtrak and it arrived hours before scheduled check in. The clerk at the desk said the room would probably be available before the scheduled check in time and could keep my baggage under lock and key until such time. Since I was on foot in a strange town, that was a huge help and exceptional customer service in a time when that is lacking quite a bit. The room was clean, comfortable and everything that I required for my 3 day stay.

Hotel is typically quiet, but walls are thin if neighbors are loud. However, staff is responsive to complaints and offenders are tossed out with police escort after warning. Neighborhood is seedy but doesn’t appear to be unsafe and is very convenient to Riverwalk, museums, and restaurants. A security guard is in the lobby at night. Free parking garage across the street is a real plus. This is not a 5 star hotel, but it provides a clean bed with friendly staff in a convenient location at a very good price.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful during my stay. My room was basic but the bed was quite nice and comfortable and had nice sheets and pillows and comforter. Shower was hot and there was a small coffee maker in room and also coffee in the lobby in the morning (and several coffee shops nearby). Met my requirements. I was pleasantly satisfied with my visit.

The room was extremely clean & staff very friendly & helpful. The property is very outdated and the area around the hotel is dirty with a lot of closed businesses. Free parking is across the street on the Cal Neva parking garage. You will receive a parking pass at check-in. Central & convenient. Would stay again.

This place is friendly and safe! I RECOMMEND it great prices. We stayed in rm 620. Never mind the snobby reviews give this place a chance! Like any casino you will smell a stench of cig smoke but the hallways and our room didn’t smell at all! Thank you Ramada for the great experience! We will be coming back.

The people were friendly and nice. The lobby was welcoming. The room was very clean. The price was really reasonable. Even though it is a pet friendly hotel, we hardly heard other dogs there, so it was very quiet. Nice pet area for our fur babies to do their business. We really enjoyed our stay there and we will be staying there again soon.

Very friendly staff, they provided fun activities for my grandsons to visit me and play and have fun! Rooms are beautiful and the view was worth it all on it's own. I will always stay at the Ramada when I visit Reno. They also had the cutest dog bowl with fresh water in the lobby for visiting for babies!!

Wyndham of Reno,NV was so convenient and relaxing. The African American woman was so nice, cordial and helpful. The Casino was right down stairs, so you could go there anytime. There is also a Convenience Store right across the street for your late or early morning munchies. The rooms were clean and comfy. I definitely would stay here again.

Not all went perfect, but the overall stay was nice and the price certainly made up for the shortcomings. The shortcomings did not include lack of cleanliness or I would not give it 4 stars. I would recommend Windham, especially if you don't want your hotel bill to be the biggest expense of your trip. Here is how I see it: give me a clean bed and a clean shower for a good price and I will be happy, especially since I don't stay in a hotel to spend all my time there, it's just to shower and sleep. So, give them a try, I think you'll agree with me! Have a great trip!

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent gluten free pizza next door.

The room was clean and the bathroom was exceptionally clean. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. I asked for a first-floor room and received one, however the first floor is actually half a stairway down from the parking lot at the back of the building. And the second floor is half a stairway up. So really the second floor would have been the same. My room was at the very rear of the property and I did not have wi-fi signal. The motel is a short walk from Virginia Lake, a very beautiful area.

It was clean, comfortable, friendly staff, restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely do it again.

It was quiet and comfortable with a helpful staff.

My stay at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Reno Downtown was decent overall. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were polite, though not particularly warm. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities, but it felt a bit outdated and could use some renovation. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too small for my liking. One of the highlights was the location—very convenient and close to Reno downtown. However, the noise from the street could be heard at night, which made it a bit difficult to sleep. Breakfast had a good variety, but the quality was just average. The dining area was a bit small, and service was ok. The Wi-Fi was free but inconsistent, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, it was a decent stay—nothing exceptional, but also nothing major to complain about. It’s a good choice for a short trip if you’re not looking for anything too fancy. ⭐⭐⭐/5

The front desk employees were very hospitable and friendly. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only thing wrong was with the TV volume it was on low and you couldn't turn it up. I would recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel just opened in December. It is completely new and very clean and modern. The pool area is excellent with a huge jacuzzi. The free breakfast was oustanding. We also had a cocktail from the bar and it was excellent.

We went to Reno for a car show at the Convention center and everything was great. Minus the noises on the Main Street at night with cars going by but that has nothing to do with the hotel they can’t control that. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. Staff was amazing. Very nice. The pool area was beautiful and great to hang out with our group that stayed there too. The bar was nice too, the bar food was amazing especially the flat breads. The breakfast had plenty of options for a quick grab to tie you over til lunch, but go early, we went around 730 and there was so much food left. Don’t expect like a buffet cuz it’s not. There’s cereal, oatmeal bar muffins bagels. And they had French toast bacon and eggs. The coffee was fabulous. If we go back to Reno which is in the plans we will stay again

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. I can’t comment on the hotel restaurant/bar or the free breakfast because I didn’t partake in those but the bar looked nice. We were in Reno for a tournament and the location was convenient to the convention center. I enjoyed our stay and would stay again for the next tournament.
