we loved our room which was the duplex. the Jacuzzi was a great addition to the room, especially that the weather was not warm enough to be in the beach or pool. breakfast and dinner were superb. hotel is very comfort, clean and very friendly. highly recommended.

It is our second time at the Nautilux Crete. The first time we became in love with everything. The beauty of the Hotel. Extremely clean and comfortable. Very new and well maintained. The staff is the best. Always with a smile on the face. We love the minimalism and modern design of this Hotel. The beach. The view. The service at the pool and at the beach. The food is amazing. This time we receive an upgrade and the suite with the jacuzzi was wonderful. We just have good things to share with the others. Absolutely nothing to complain.

It's our honeymoon, but we didn’t notice the resort in advance: our room had been upgraded free to a rooftop room with jacuzzi, and they also gifted us a bottle of pink for our honeymoon, what a sweet surprise! Every one is very kind and caring. The location is far from downtown of Rethymno, but the resort has its own beach, which is very calm and keep from crowds. Hope we have chance to be here again in the future!

Lovely hotel, very quiet and relaxed with everything you need. The rooms are very clean and spacious with an amazing shower. Wonderful breakfast in the morning with different things every day and beautiful views from the rooftop terrace. The pool was great, and there were always sunloungers available. You could get drinks and snacks to have by the pool at very reasonable prices. The staff were absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful, they really went above and beyond. They recommended places to go, amazing restaurants to go to, and booked the best tables for us. They arranged a car hire for us and made the whole process so easy and stress free. Always a smile and a friendly chat when we saw them, nothing was too much trouble.

Just a short easy drive off of the main A90 road with plenty of free street parking nearby. It could be a little competitive at times but we always managed to find a space close to the hotel. The hotel itself was clean, modern and very comfortable. We booked a junior suite and it was a really lovely space with plenty of seating, floor space and a nice big balcony with sea and mountain views. Breakfast was served in the top floor restaurant and offered almost 360° views of Rethymno, the sea and mountains - a stunning way to start each day! Breakfast offered homemade options of local food, along with the usual cereal, fruit etc. The staff were friendly, attentive and generous with their time. The three staff at reception (George, George and Michael) were exceptional, advising us on places to go, places to eat, and sharing their Cretan pride and local knowledge to really enhance our stay. Thanks to them we visited places that we didn't find through Google searches alone. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from old town. It's a slight hill on the way back but nothing too strenuous. Rethymno was stunning and, despite going out in the car everyday to explore the beautiful Cretan scenery, there are still plenty of things to do. We will definitely be back!

The hotel is very modern, and the attention to detail is fabulous. Breakfast on the roof terrace each morning with amazing views of the town was very special. The choice of food catered for all types and varied each day, especially the homemade cakes! The staff were very friendly and helpful, suggesting places to eat and visit. The room was very spacious with our own private balcony overlooking the pool, cleaned daily, with storage space for all our belongings. The pool area was spotless,very relaxing with plenty of sunbeds. Drinks and food are available also. Private parking for our hire car just around the corner was an added bonus. All in all, it's a fabulous place to stay, and we will definitely be going back.

The hotel Menta was a great choice. We were very satisfied with our room (it might have been a junior suite). The room had a balcony with a sea view and was located on the upper floors. It was spacious and clean in every way. The bathroom was in (fairly) good condition. There was plenty of space for clothes in the closet. The balcony was delightful; plain but spacious. Views in almost all directions. There was also space for the car near the hotel on an empty lot. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere at the hotel was relaxed. In March, everything was still off-season which made our visit seemingly peaceful. The breakfast was decent. Good savory pastries in addition to all kinds of traditional sweets. We didn't try the swimming pool but we did swim in the sea despite the cold water. It takes 15-30 minutes to walk from the hotel to the beach and the town center - old and new.

Very comfortable room. Shower was one of the best Ive used. Bed was clean and soft. Modern amenities, air conditioning system, lighting, outlets, etc. The breakfast was top notch, with both normal breakfast foods (i.e. eggs and bacon) and also some homemade breads, and baked casseroles. Breakfast is also on the roof with great view of the city. Hotel also has 24 hour lobby bar, 24 hour reception, swimming pool with lounge chairs and gym. The property host was very friendly, greeting me whenever I left/entered.

Good food, fresh, plenty of choice and variety ; excellent service and very polite and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, nice heated pool and jacuzzi to relax when outdoor is cold, one of nicest hotels in the area

The hotel totally met my expectation,the jacuzzi room is amazing!The staff was great,always trying to make guests feel good,the enterence at the tables in the restaurant with guidance from the staff,the food was very good,especially dinner,extrordinary pastry in the morning and good deserts,they kept coming with food even if it was closing time, the entertainment at night and the bar were very pleasant,the parking!

My friend and I stayed here for a week and everything was perfect. Managers Eleni & Stella were sooo much help in the booking process as well as looking after us when we were there (due to our age of 17). Eleni informed us of a room upgrade where we had a spacious room with a sea view of which we were told there only a few of these so we were very grateful. As soon as we stepped into the hotel our suitcases were taken by friendly Nikolas who also brought us a fresh lemon juice whilst we signed paperwork. Luxury service of showing us to our room and telling us where everything is in the hotel, how to work the aircon etc. The cleaners were friendly and cleaned to a high standard. The restaurant staff were attentive and food was constantly replenished. The pool area is clean and the bar staff bring the drinks you order to your sunbed. The guests are a mix of ages but mainly middle-older age range. The location is great, it is right by the town without having the noise of it and the lovely old town was just a 10-15 min walk away. There are many restaurants, bars and shops and the beach is less than a 5 min walk. Overall, we would definitely recommend the hotel due to the lovely, helpful staff, the great location and luxury feel.

The hotel is beautiful and it hits instantly as soon as you walk into the lobby. We were greeted with a refreshing drink and our cases taken to the room. It is a perfect city hotel with the luxuries of a good beach hotel The location is perfect, couple of minutes walk away to the beach and main strip and 20 minute walk to the Old Town. We were located in the main building with a superior room and pool view. We stayed on B&B basis. - We visited in peak season, there were still sunbeds available at 10:30-11am and this is a massive plus. No silly sunbed wars and a very pleasant easy going experience. - Bar service to the sunbed, staff were super friendly. - Certain sunbeds do get the shade later on in the afternoon. - Impeccably clean throughout - Breakfast was good, though same variation each day I don’t think the evening entertainment was very well advertised, nor was the aqua aerobics or Pilates which takes place in the other annex building. We were not told about the towel service upon arrival either, perhaps this was due to an early am arrival. Tips: Definitely upgrade room type Cocktails around €10 each. On B&B basis this does add up! We found the main strip restaurants quite expensive and preferred to walk into the Old Town Beach/waves can get very choppy Visit Polliou House - short taxi ride and amazing Greek dancing and music

Peaceful and quite resort set off from the main road and a short walk to the beach. The complex has it's own pool including a small children's pool, the sun loungers have all been neatly fitted in around the edge of the pool. The rooms are spacious and quiet, inside ours we had a separate living area with two sofa beds and a bedroom with a double bed. Both areas had air conditioning units (which is included), flat screen tvs and patio doors with shutters leading on a patio area with a table and a dryer. Plenty of storage in the bedroom with hangers in the wardrobe and a free safe. The kitchen area was fully equipped with plenty of cooking utensils, there was a halogen hob, microwave oven and fridge with a freezer compartment. They also provided washing up liquid and a brush. Inside the bathroom there was a bathtub with shower and unbelievably a washing machine. All the staff were lovely and friendly, the hotel owner waited up for us after arriving late and we were greeted to a lovely decorated bed for our anniversary. The room is cleaned 6 days and kept nice and tidy. We had a view of the pool from our patio. The hotel is 25 min walk from the main town or there are buses that go along the main road at the front. A peaceful and relaxing location to enjoy a nice break in the sun. There are a few tavernas near by and 1 plus 1 you can get 7% off with a card from reception.

Modern accommodation, large apartment, well-equipped kitchen, view of the pool. Comfortable bed. Spacious balcony. Large bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. The nearest beach.

Had a 5 night stay at Summer Dream. We were two families - and each with 1 Room Deluxe Apartment. The apartment was surprisngly large and comfortable and the AC worked perfectly.Facilities seemed quite new and well maintained. I will note that I was a little taken aback by how the immediate area OUTSIDE the hotel looked, but, it did not really take area the stay. Hotel located close to beach and a (40-45 minute) walking distance to the Old City. The pool area is large and there is not need to scramble for sunchairs. Also, there is a childrens' pool that came in very handy as we were travelling with a 2 year old.There is a nice supermarket next door. The staff was perhaps the most professional and friendly staff that I have encountered and that was a truly nice addition to the stay. Special thanks goes to Nitsa - who is always 'on things' to make certain that things are going well. The staff in the breakfast are (esp. Katerina - I think...) was also very pleasant and could not do enough for us. The food selection was good-and I appreciated their sensitivity to the needs of gluten-free individuals. One thing that could be improved is that I got the sense that sometimes some foodstuffs not consumed were put out again (desserts, rolls). Also, the music in bar area is nice-as is the woman working there - but it's on all day until midnight-a bit too much. Particulalry as not many guests seemed to partake of the bar area - and the music is clearly heard in rooms - until very late.

Everything.... Perfect destination for our family holiday. Staff were extremely helpful, accommodation was far beyond what we expected - really modern, comfortable and user-friendly, the pool is just the right temperature, you are always able to get sunbeds - anytime of the day, and then there's the most fantastic pool bar, run by Yiannis, who knows how to make fantastic cocktails and how to take care of his customers. In many ways, Yiannis makes the holiday just that little bit more special... We will return...

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very modern. We had balcony with a pool view. Everything was sparkling clean. The pool area was nice to relax in and the restaurant had a very delicious food. The parking was easy to get to once lady from reception shown us a way. The breakfast had a lot to choose from.

Our room had reasonable size. There was balcony with jacuzzi, sea view and table to drink complimentary wine. We enjoyed every minute staying in the hotel. Sea is just across the road - we could go to the beach any time, also hotel is walking distance to the center. Breakfast was incredibly good for such a small hotel. But the main thing was very nice attitude from EACH staff member. We were wholeheartedly helped with every problem or question by managers. Thank you, Filio and Irini.

The location was outstanding with a clear and easy walk into old town and located right across the street from the main beach with the hotel having their own daybeds (free if you bought a drink)! The staff was so helpful and they even celebrated my friends birthday, a surprise to both of us! We also really enjoyed the breakfast to include fresh squeezed orange and wonderful local honey and marmalade! We have a two bedroom suite with jacuzzi and it was amazing to sit out on the daybeds, listening to the waves and sipping the complementary wine provided by the hotel. Overall I highly recommend this hotel and thank you to the staff at Ammos for being a large part of our successful trip to Crete!

Our stay was just amazing. The service was exceptional, everyone was polite and genuinely kind and nice, with big smile on their faces every day. We stayed in family room and it was spacious, very clean and the decoration and the set up was just perfect, we really felt like at home. Shower was great and bed was comfortable. The location was just perfect as it was on the beach with beautiful sea view from our room and 15 minutes walk to the old town. Some of the nights we just stayed close to the hotel and there were many restaurants and shops around the hotel. Breakfast was nice, always fresh fruits available and freshly squeezed orange juice every morning. The hotel beach is small and sometimes it gets crowded but we would always ask the person in charge of the beach to keep sun-beds for us and he was really super nice and making sure we were very comfortable. Minimum order at the beach was not a problem for us because they had a nice selection of drinks, fresh juices, and the best coffee. We highly recommend Ammos Suits to everyone who is looking to stay at the best place in Rethymno.

Everything. Perfect 5* The Ammnos Suite was an excellent choice for our stay. The whole place was spotless and very well maintained. There is an elevator that takes you comfortably to the higher floors, and the pool was cleaned daily by the staff. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety to choose from. The location is perfect – just a few steps from the beach, where sunbeds are available with drinks if you stay at the suite. The city center is also within easy reach, about a 15-minute walk, and the inner city offers plenty of fantastic restaurants, from fancy options to cozy, homemade-style places. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. The room was very spacious, beautifully designed, and the interior was modern and comfortable. Overall, this is definitely a five-star place – highly recommended!

Perfect location, just in front of the sandy beach and 15 min walking distance from the beautiful old town. The hotel has own sunbends free for the guest after ordering some drinks, coffee or snacks from the bar, beach service is also available. The breakfast was various, sweets and salty dishes, local cheese, orange juice, etc. The staff was very friendly, prepared us breakfast packs when we left early morning to an excursion tour. The pool was also nice and a good place if you want to hide in the shadows from the extremely hot weater. Room was not big, but enough for 2 person, clean, pair of towels for the beach as well and were changed every day.

Nous avons passé une semaine début octobre 2020 à l'atrium, en demi-pension, dans la suite executive avec grande terrasse et jacuzzi extérieur. Très belle chambre avec literie exceptionnelle (lit kingsize), salle de bain avec douche (rainshower) spacieuse et WC séparés. Peu de place, en revanche, pour ranger le contenu des valises. L'hôtel est flambant neuf et dispose d'une très belle piscine avec plein de chaises longues et de matelas doubles. Excellent petit déjeuner (buffet, mais covid oblige, sans self-service, idem pour le repas du soir). Personnel adorable. Propreté irréprochable. La mer, la plage, loueur de scooters (Candy Cars, excellent service et excellent matériel) sont à 2 minutes à pied. Séjour excellent et situation parfaite (surtout hors saison touristique car tout est àproximité). Le port vénitien et la vieille ville sont à 15-20 minutes à pied (ou 5 min en scooter). Nous recommandons l'atrium !

Pros: -The Dutch receptionist is the biggest asset of this hotel! She was so nice and helpful! -Clean hotel and modern enough -Plenty of sunloungers available all the time -best fresh orange juice and tzatziki I ever had -good poolside cocktails Cons: - The waiting staff are very rude. Especially the tall blonde lady. She needs to remember this is a hotel restaurant not an army canteen. - the room and bathroom are tiny. I booked a superior room. There is barely any room to move in the bathroom. The shower is good and spacious though. - food is only ok. Nothing special and just a few dishes to choose from. We did find something to eat though every night. - desserts are poor but there was watermelon at breakfast and dinner. - cleaners always forgot to give us 2 large bathroom towels and would just leave 1 large and 2 small towels. We asked reception to give us another towel one night and they had none..very annoying as it happened almost every day.

The staff was welcoming, honest and full of useful information. Our room was clean with a nice sized balcony, though the bathroom was smaller than any other hotel we've stayed in. However, there's enough room for basic needs and soap etc was provided. The bed was very comfortable and pillows too. There's an option to request different pillows if you prefer for a small cost. Breakfast and dinner were nice with options for everyone (also for Italian people. I don't understand the complaints about breakfast as there were cakes, brioche, fruit, bread, jams, yogurt etc and not only savory eggs and so on) It was nice they offered some Greek choices rather than only "International ." The woman in particular who oversaw the dining service was so sweet and always smiling. All dining staff was cordial and professional. The pool was nice and we found there was enough sun for most of the day. If you have a flight later than check out time, they let you use the showers and bathroom from the gym if you need. A nice comfort.

Had a ovely stay here. Staff are all very friendly and helpful and the hotel is spotlessly clean and the food is really good with something for everyone and the pool bar snacks are great at lunchtime if you can't be bothered to move! The hotel is fairly quiet with entertainment every other night but it was so close to town there is always plenty to do. Swimming pool area is well kept, plenty of sunbeds and although the sun is gone from the pool by around 4pm, it is quite a welcome relief! Rooms are clean and well kept and beds are comfortable!

Great hotel in a perfect location: only few minutes walk from the beach and from old town. Nice, spacious and clean rooms, tasty food with plenty of options, very kind and professional staff, fun entertainment (especially the Greek night!). 100% recommended!!

Amazing location in the middle of the old town. The master suite is extremely quiet with a large comfy bed. On 2 levels with a spiral staircase. Small shower with limited head height that did leak all over the bathroom floor every time it was used. There is also a massive spa bath which you can use as well. The best part of this room is a private roof terrace with comfy sunbeds. A haven in busy Rethymno. Very attentive and friendly staff.

The hotel is staffed by the friendliest and helpful people. They really are lovely and make the stay so relaxing. I really enjoyed having my breakfast I. The little courtyard every morning. It is quiet and peaceful, especially sitting by the pool where the plants climbing the surrounding walls give it a tropical feel. The hotel is set in the perfect place in the old town. Set just enough away from the centrecto be peaceful but close enough to everything. The town itself is beautiful..

Stayed here in early April, very much at the start of the 'season'. Excellent welcome, nice room with comfortable bed and spotless shower room. Breakfast choices changed a little each day, and the choice was always comprehensive. Central location in the 'old town' was quiet and ideal for site-seeing, eating out, shopping, and beach. Initial inadequate water and heating services were rectified very quickly. I would like to stay here again.

This hotel is in the perfect Old Town Rethymno location, the most upscale part of the town and very peaceful. The staff is great, friendly, accommodating and professional. We wandered all parts of this cute town and are sure we stayed at the best hotel. The breakfast was also delicious with lots of choices and fresh everything.

Immaculate from start to finish. Warmest reception ever! Stunning and charming boutique hotel with an idyllic garden pool. Poolside breakfasts, coffee in the room, treats and raki in the room, welcome champagne cocktail with treats on arrival, cute little balcony, big bright washroom and rain shower, lots of electrical outlets, super comfortable bed. Prime location in the middle of the old city nestled among beautiful restaurant patios. If you rely on hotel toiletries, these were not good. I would never usually comment on that, but my luggage was delayed so I had to use the hotel toiletries for a couple days. They collected my delayed luggage after we had already checked out and even walked our luggage to our car, about 7 minutes away through the pedestrian only cobblestone streets. I wish we could have stayed longer. This is truly one of the best hotel experiences ever (and we are avid travelers).

Great location: just at the border of the old town before the beaches. Amazing staff at the reception, breakfast and cleaning (we did not try the bar /restaurant) : they go the extra mile to make you super happy. Beautiful comfy room (junior suite with seaview) with white marble and excellent bath products (Olivia) and the best coffee /expresso machine I ever found in a hotel room. We got upgraded to a junior suite upon our arrival and in the room there was a nice white wine bottle and 2 chalices: we enjoyed it on the balcony looking directly towards the port during the sunset. Spectacular! The room has all imaginable comfort : bathrobe, scale, hairdryer, vanity kits, fully equipped fridge, kettle and tea, espresso machine, mirror with magnifier, fantastic products of the brand Olivia (body lotion, hand soap, shampoo, shower gel), etc. The breakfast is delicious with an extensive selection of Greek, Cretan local products and sweets (special note for the sweets) as well as normal breakfast staple (bacon, beans, scramble eggs, cereals, jams, etc). The staff immediately serve yoh a freshly made orange juice upon your arrival and the best coffee. Breakfast also has a special egg on order station, where you can get your eggs done the way you prefer. Last but not least, though the hotel has a small swimming pool, it has a sister hotel (Kriti) just in front of the beach, so you can freely access the beach, get towels, umbrella and chairs directly in the wonderful Rethymno beach.

We had a great week at Kyma Suites Beach hotel, we were ten people in total, five couples from the Family, no kids. - Super nice, friendly and professional personnel - High class breakfast, a lot of options from local cuisine to international offering. Great and fast service. - Nice dinners, we had two different dinners at the hotel, especially Sea food theme dinner was our favorite - Nice and clean rooms - Small and cosy hotel - Everything is close: Old town, restaurants, beach, services. And what a surprise we got: We won an invitation to the owners large sailing boat for a day cruise! That was a super surprise, all inclusive experience, free of charge. Great customer care and experience! Things to be aware: - The road between the hotel and the beach is very noisy at night time, if you have a sea view room at lower floors. - Do not expect large pool area, the pool is very small and not suitable for swimming. - The private beach is not located in front of hotel, it´s about 400 m walk from the hotel. Other tips: - You might want to take a taxi to smaller village for a dinner: 15 minutes and you get authentic experience at small restaurants, compared to beach area restaurants. Try hotel dinner anyway, it was great and good value for the money.

Kyma Suites is a cozy boutique hotel very close to the old town of Rethymno. This is a big plus for fast exploring the vibes of this charming litte town. We liked very much the staff (always smilling, and ready to help). Also, the food was very good. Plenty of choices for the dinner (fish&seafood-grilled or oven dishes; fresh vegetables and fruits; tasty starters and sweets). The breakfast was also very good (poached eggs were great). Keep in mind that this is not a big AI(all-inclusive) hotel, where food quantity prevails over quality! Thus, the effort of selecting and using quality ingredients was present at Kyma, and the food&restaurant experience, in my opinion, is close to a 5* hotel. The room was spotless clean, and the sea view with the small balcony is a must (city view is definitely not so impressive). The size of the room is decent enough, although the bathroom is small (standard double). We expected to be more noise from the city at night, but surprisingly this was not an issue on a sea view room. For the beach, which is a shared one with Kriti hotel, it would be great if the management will consider bigger unbrellas (not much of a shade for the Cretan heat). All in all, Kyma Suites delivers a 4* room experience mixed with a 4-5* restaurant experience. We enjoyed it and recommend!

The breakfasts were lovely and tasty. The waiters were very helpful and friendly .The chef who prepared our eggs ,omelettes and pancakes was really good and served them to our table which was a nice touch. Chrysa greeted us like old friends and made us really welcome (we had met on 2 previous visits to the Kriti Beach Hotel ).The 2 young ladies on reception were lovely ,great fun and very helpful and welcoming . The shower in the room was really good ,warm and worked really well and was very welcome. We had 2 meals in the Navy Blend Restaurant (Fish & Chips and Crispy Chicken & Chips) ,both very tasty .The staff in there were also friendly and looked after us really well. The holiday was booked as a random additional holiday after 2 previous stays at Kriti Beach and lived up to our expectations. We are currently working on our next break in October ,which will hopefully be for 10 days plus ?.

First time at Kyma Beach Hotel ,stayed at Kriti Beach on 2 previous occasions . Chrysa and all of the staff that we came into contact with were all friendly ,very helpful and great fun and made us feel incredibly welcome. Food is good ,try the Navy Blue Restaurant ,had couple very nice tasty meals in there !! Room was clean and comfortable ,with a really good shower . Nice and near to the Old town & Harbour .Marina and beach is just across the road. Currently working on plans for our next visit in October which will be our sixth visit !! .

The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The bed and bedding were comfy and the location perfect for a short walk to the beach and old town. Nice roof top jacuzzi with loungers. Free parking nearby. Very clean. Quiet..great coffee shop across the square.

Excellent hotel, the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Great location just a couple of mins walk from the beach, and not far to walk from the old town. Close to water sports. The jacuzzi is a very nice way to cool off on a hot day!

It was a lovely apartment over two levels with a jacuzzi in the bedroom . we only stayed one night so didn’t make the most out of the room .

The jacuzzi at the balcony, friendly staff and great services (massage/spa). The breakfast and food was another level. Dimitris from the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will come back again at some point.

We really enjoyed our stay. We liked our great room with beautiful view and hottub. However what our stay really made was the fantastic crew. The service was perfect. Oh and we had the best breakfast ever in a hotel. Highly reccomend!

Brilliant hotel, which is just two minutes walk to the beach, with a car park. Located near lots of restaurants and some shops. The staff were very friendly and very helpful and accommodating. The room was a good size, with comfortable beds, a nice bathroom with a good shower, and two nice balconies. Although we didn't do any cooking, there was a fridge, microwave, and two ring hob for your use as well as a coffee maker. The breakfast buffet has a really good selection and provides a good start to your day. There is a lovely bar where you can buy coffee and snacks as well as lovely cocktails. Nice swimming pool.

Lovely and cozy hotel, very friendly staff. The hotel is located on the edge of the city, at the end of the city promenade (it takes 30-40 minutes to walk to the city, but you can also take a bus, for example when going (and walking back in the evening)). The local beach is simple, but not overcrowded and pleasant, with sunbeds available. It is easy to park and make trips outside the city. The pool is a children's favorite! Breakfast good, but we preferred to make it ourselves in our kitchenette. We had a room with sea + pool view, the balcony was too sunny in the morning and during the day (there was no shade), but in the evening it was pleasant and the view was beautiful. The recommended nearby 1+1 restaurant was very good! Unfortunately, we didn't try the Thymar restaurant, but it also looked very good!

Clean, spacious rooms and great location near the beach and numerous restaurants. Good facilities including a small but well maintained Gym. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful and seemed genuinely happy to do all they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible! Swimming pool was quite busy but not a problem as we could also use the much quieter pool at the Dominica apartments next door, and the beach was less than 100 metres away. Old town was walkable or a 7 euro taxi ride.

The hotel is in a perfect location, 30 second walk from the beach and a 2 minute walk from the promenade so close enough to be able to get to everything within a couple of minutes but far enough to be away from the noise. The staff were all friendly and helpful and happy to give suggestions of where to visit, eat etc. The rooms are are great size and really clean with fresh towels provided everyday. The pool area is private and peaceful with a great poolside bar. Can't recommend enough!

We stayed at the Coconut Palm Paradise and received a warm and attentive welcome from Maria, who was very helpful and always present. Fresh water, breakfast essentials, and wine were available upon our arrival. We booked the duplex apartment on the first floor with a terrace: high-quality finishes, everything carefully designed down to the smallest detail, a comfortable shower with a washing machine, and a perfect kitchen with a dishwasher. Balcony overlooking the pool. Garden with plenty of sun loungers, a hammock, and comfortable armchairs. A top-notch stay – once again, thanks to Maria for everything, we will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at this apartment — it was incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed for our holiday: a dishwasher, washing machine, and a fully equipped kitchen. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and we were pleasantly surprised with some lovely welcome gifts on arrival. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The location is very convenient, just a short drive from Rethymno with no traffic on the way, which made exploring the area so easy. The pool was perfect for relaxing in the evenings, and the whole atmosphere was just ideal for a holiday. We truly wish we could have stayed longer in this little paradise.

Our stay at this apartment was absolutely excellent! Everything was perfect — nothing was missing, all the details were carefully thought out, and in fact it exceeded our expectations. The apartment itself was spotless and extremely comfortable, and the swimming pool was also very nice, making the stay even more enjoyable. What really made the experience outstanding was Maria’s exceptional level of service and availability. To give just one example: due to a problem with our rental car, we arrived very late — around 1 a.m. — yet Maria patiently waited for us, warmly welcomed us, and even had a delicious pizza ready for everyone. This level of care and hospitality is exceptional and something many other places in Europe could learn from, especially when compared to much more expensive accommodations that do not offer this level of service. We strongly recommend this lovely place to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and truly wonderful hospitality!

The apartment was very comfortable, spacious, perfectly equipped, and spotlessly clean. The beds were amazing—we slept so well. The property also has a beautiful garden with a pool, making it the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. Everything was just perfect! Including the host Maria. Such a nice and kind woman. For someone who travels albeit ( quite)extensively, reviews on hotels and apart hotels are written after much benchmarking. Maria the host of Coconut Palm is an absolute Gem and goes out of her way to ensure your stay is comfortable. The rooms far exceed expectations and I can say photos don’t do as much justice as the real deal. Spacious rooms, modern decor , furniture and fittings . Fully kit out kitchen and having the washing machine, dishwasher and terrace spaces make it ideal for families. and long stays. The location is beautiful , away from all the hustle and bustle of town ( 4min drive) but also convenient to supermarkets , restaurants and most importantly to lovely family owned / run, non touristy activities such as Olive farms, honey museums, wineries and superb Cretan food. It’s well located , allowing you to head either direction of the island with ease via the A90. The owners are polite and humble. They decorated the villa knowing we had a celebration and left us cake, wine and a gift. The best part was that we didn’t miss a thing , had nothing short and was a home away from home in every sense. Will definitely be back and never hesitate to recommend this place .

I had the pleasure of staying at Rethymno Hills for 8 nights, in 2 types of rooms. Both rooms were well-equipped (if something was missing, the owner was helpful and took care of it right away). The cleaning staff is thorough, the rooms were spotless. Both rooms I stayed in has sea- view which was breathtaking, and also that side of the hotel faces North, the sun doesn't reach those rooms. So in September the AC was not needed at all, however the wet clothes and towels dried slower on the balcony. Since the hotel is situated on the top of the hill, it is very quiet, which I loved. The rooms are well insulated, I couldn't hear the neighbours. It is a family- run hotel, and the owners are very friendly and helpful and will do their best to make your stay the best possible. I highly recommend Rethymno Hills.

Everything was amazing! The staff were extremely polite, attentive, and friendly - truly wonderful people. I arrived a few hours before the official check-in time, but they kindly let me in almost right away, which I really appreciated. The room was cleaned daily, and from the balcony we had a stunning sea view with beautiful sunsets every evening. There’s also a nice pool. The only small thing to note is that without your own transport it takes around 30 minutes to get to the center (since public transport doesn’t go directly there), but this wasn’t an issue for us. A big advantage is that the beach is within walking distance. Thank you, Rethymno Hills, for such a great stay! 🌅

Everything! The location is great, with a beautiful view of the sea from the balcony. Takes about 30 mins to walk into the old town, or you can drive in around 5 mins. 10 minute walk away from some lovely restaurants right on the beach. The staff are amazing, very kind and welcoming. Give good advice and will look after you. Highly recommend the property.

The room was comfortable, cleaning service included. In the kitchen there was everything needed to prepare own food (there was salt, papper, some herbs as well, new frying pan, good knife, all the necessary equipment ). The parking space was sufficient for our small rental car. In the night it was quiet. Swimming pool was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great location for shopping, cafes, bars and restaurants. Room was very clean and very pleasant. The balcony is huge with two sun-beds and a jacuzzi. Housekeeper cleaned the room every day and they even provided a nice bottle of wine on our arrival. Staff was very welcoming and friendly.

The jacuzzi was great. And also the location was pretty good. It was clean, comfortable, relaxing and beautiful. The balcony had a great view of the old market. It's very close to everything.

One of the nicest places I have stayed in. Room was huge, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a big balcony area with a jacuzzi that looks out onto this sea. Staff were very friendly too. Beach is only a short walk away and beside the old town. Would stay here again.

Beautiful setting!! Loved the aircon, fan in room, great sunbeds both poolside and beach. Staff were very friendly and food at the restaurant was amazing too. We had a room with a jacuzzi which was fantastic, nice and warm and very relaxing. Special shout out to the shower in the room which was like a spa itself. Easy check in / check out, can’t fault anything.

This place was a wonderful surprise! We booked the last Deluxe Maisonette with Sea View last-minute, the night before departure, not knowing if what they advertise is accurate or not. And they delivered! This 3-star hotel truly feels like a 4-star. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay – spotless room, great view, literally on a clean, private and not crowded beach, very friendly and efficient staff (reception, bar, restaurant), excellent breakfast with plenty of options, and super comfortable sunbeds on the beach. It was peaceful even with kids around at the hotel's new & modern pool, and the soundproof rooms with their incredibly comfy beds let us rest perfectly. We booked a yoga session and massage that also contributed to our overall amazing experience. Rented 2 bikes for an evening stroll to Rethymno and we eagerly returned to this peaceful place. We were honestly sad that we booked only 4 nights. I highly recommend this hotel!

The location is fabulous, right in front of the beach. Clean room, pool, beach. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Very relaxing place. Beach chairs are a given by the beach and the pools. Fully equipped room overlooking the sea, complimentary wine and fruits. Amazing, varied breakfast. Highly recommend.
