I enjoyed the free happy hour and the breakfast. Nice decor, clean, modern, good customer service. Great Hotel! The pool and jacuzzi were great. I didn’t get a chance to check out the gym, but it looked nice from the outside. Parking and checkin was seamless.

It was a very nice experience. I really love the mingle and drink experience. The rooms were very spacious and clean and the employees were all nice and helping. Stay in the suite with the jacuzzi you won’t regret it.

My family and I decided to spend the night after a day of shopping out of town at Short Pump Town Center and the surrounding shops. I chose this hotel from the great reviews on line.The hotel is very clean with an up to date decor and has upgrades you would not see in other hotels for the same price point. There was a large indoor and outdoor pool, heated, with a very large jacuzzi that we enjoyed during our stay. There is an exercise room for your convenience. They have coffee, soda's and other beverages at designated times throughout the day with no added charge. Also complimentary popcorn later in the day too. The complimentary breakfast buffet had a very large variety of hot and cold foods, beverages and a large waffle maker. They also serve a complimentary dinner from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm with a limited choice of 2 entries, multiple sides, and drinks that we took advantage of that evening as we were tired from enjoying shopping that day. They also have a dinner menu for purchase with burgers, wraps, pizza etc. with extended dining times. We did purchase some deserts afterwards which were delicious! They also have a bar onsite for purchase and a complimentary limited choice of 3 alcoholic beverages per room per day during your stay if you so choose. What a value and savings if you choose to partake of all the complimentary food, beverages, snacks! The staff was very friendly, professional and courteous. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel. The room was perfect, clean, nice bedding and lots of lighting and usb plug options. Coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator were a nice addition. In many hotels, there’s always something wrong in the bathroom. Not here, lots of towel hooks, extremely clean, modern walk in shower etc. The breakfast buffet was huge and hot items were hot and very good. Lots of cold selections too as well as both pancakes and waffles. The staff were very attentive to keeping it clean. We didn’t partake in the evening buffet offerings, but they looked good. And for free! I also liked the proximity to all Short Pump shops and restaurants. I’ll be back.

EVERYTHING! Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean Staff is so welcoming & friendly Great decor, room and bedding is wonderful. Amenities above anything I’ve had any where else. Free breakfast buffet, and dinner buffet including a drink card for free cocktails. The food was delicious and large variety. There is also a little shop with food items for sale. There is also a Bar & Kitchen restaurant. Didn’t go to the pool or gym, but they looked wonderful and clean. I have been to a lot of hotels and traveled a lot, this hotel is really impressive, felt like I was on a cruise! In my future travels I will always seek out a Durary Plaza !

The Bonvoy in Richmond, Va was lovely. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was heaven. That jacuzzi tub was the icing on the cake. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would stay there anytime.

All I can say is WOW!! An Amazing hotel and absolutely incredible experience! First and foremost, Kyla at the front desk gave us a warm and friendly welcome and made sure we would absolutely have a superb experience! A room or more appropriately I should say the suite was wonderful, clean, spacious, and elegant. We also dined at the restaurant fall/line downstairs which was another world class service from the service, to food, and drinks! Amazing! And yes, we are still talking about the burnt ends! Ladies at Starbucks were fantastic as well. Breakfast was delicious and had a lot of variety and staff was warm, welcoming, and making sure everything was in order and dining experience was tasty! We will definitely be back!! Thank you Richmond Marriott!!!

The staff here is outstanding. Anna and Norma in the M Club were so nice and attentive. All of the front desk staff was so accommodating and Jacob in the restaurant was delightful. The bar tender is also super nice. The restaurant, Fall Line, has delicious Shrimp & Grits and the Gooey Cake is AMAZING. My wife liked the tuna Tartare enough to get it twice. The corn bread is a little weak and I'd avoid the crab hush puppies. The rooms are nice and have a fridge. the beds and shoes are also comfortable . the only real place for improvement is the quality of food in the M Lounge. it tastes overly processed. I did love the coffee machine and access to water though

This hotel is in a great location. It's near the mall, funny bone, movie theater, bowling alley, restaurants and stores. This hotel is very clean. Beds were very comfortable. They have Shulas steak house inside which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also has a bar. In addition theres a pool and spa there. Its perfect one of the best I've been to.

The property is well kept, beautiful spacious rooms, exceptionally clean and comfortable, nice restaurant, gift shop with coffee and extras, generally quiet and family oriented. I would recommend this place to everyone

Great experience and stay at this hotel. Very clean rooms and luxury experience. Love the central air thermostat control, comfortable beds, and again emphasis on cleanliness of the property. Will come back again whenever visiting Richmond. Thank you to all the property staff for excellence in their roles. Junior suite was exceptional.

Just had the best experience at the new spa at the Hilton — and I’m so glad it’s finally open! The space is gorgeous, super clean, and has such a calming vibe from the second you walk in. The staff were all really friendly and made me feel welcome right away. I got a massage and it was honestly one of the most relaxing ones I’ve ever had — I didn’t want it to end! Everything felt luxurious but still warm and down-to-earth. So happy this spot is finally open — definitely a new go-to for me when I need to unwind. Highly recommend!

We had a nice stay. Staff was great. Service was great. Location was great. A jacuzzi would have been sweet. There's too much chlorine in the pool, and we had cockroaches in our room.

- Check in was fast and easy. - Breakfast was hot and plentiful - You always see cleaning staff working - Front desk was understanding + helpful - Shower water was hot - AC blows nice and cold - No bugs or hair very clean - Comfy beds - King lounge room has mini fridge, microwave, TV by the bed, coffee maker (coffee machines in lobby too), safe, closet, vanity mirror, adjustable shower head, great lighting, privacy curtain, a desk and a chase, an area for luggage, and a dresser, and so much more. - Treadmill, bike, and elliptical. - Close to the airport and many convenience stores, restaurants, and gas stations. - Quiet at night got good sleep and never heard my neighbors - DOVE products in the bathroom not those cheap little hotel bottles - stamped toilet paper into little bows?! Overall what is being done right here far outweighs the two downsides, so it was an obvious choice!!! Thank you for a great stay.

Everyone of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was very quiet. Breakfast was really excellent, fresh with a different selection of hot items each day we were there. And we really appreciated having fresh coffee available in the lobby all day. We had a wonderful stay.

When we arrived at our hotel we were pleasantly surprised with cookies and gummy bears (to bear with their construction). Although, we were not advised by the tournament travel agency our hotel was undergoing major renovations. Holiday Inn staff was amazing about owning it and we barely heard the construction. I also appreciated the fact that they had a central area for our girls to hang out. They had a conference room with pretzels and red solo cups on tables and lollipops. It was perfect for parents to hang out in the breakfast eating area while kids had a central area as well. Breakfast was typical with a pancake maker. My daughter was kinda bummed about no waffles but got over it rather quickly. We never made it to the pool. All and all - if we are in the area next year... I will seriously consider coming back to check out the renovations!

As we tried to out run the nor’easter on our trek back south we stopped at an amazing hotel and conference center. Set on over 20 acres of picturesque countryside the hotel was just what we needed. Rooms were immaculate and nicely updated. There was a restaurant onsite with gourmet offerings- it was so nice to not have to get back in the car and search for a chain restaurant near by. We selected the bed a breakfast package, another amazing surprise. Hot real scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, and stuffed crepes were some of the many options served in an elegant dining room with views of the countryside. As fresh coffee and juice were served we had the pleasure of meeting Celine our server who was friendly , kind and made our breakfast a highlight of our trip. As I went to the front desk to check out I shared with the attendant what a friendly place this was and how much we enjoyed everything. She said this is Virginia it shouldn’t be any other way.

We were in Richmond for the night and for our stay we booked our stay at Virginia Crossings Hotel. Virginia Crossings has many buildings which included Registration for the hotel, Hotel and the event hall too. We first went for the registration and got the keys for the room. In the hotel building we got our room at fifth floor and it also had elevators which was very helpful. When we went inside the room, it was clean as well as included all the necessary required amenities as well as comfortable and spacious rooms. The bed was also comfortable which was necessary for a good sleep after a hiking day. There are also restaurants in the complex through which one can get the required breakfast as well as dinner. The hotel is very close to the downtown Richmond and it helps everyone to get all food required. I would recommend this hotel if you want to stay for a single night or maybe multiple nights. The prices are reasonable too.

Everyone I interacted with was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I've been traveling for three months, mostly staying in AirBnBs, and it was so fun to have a full service hotel where people actively took care of me and my two dogs. They specifically put you on the bottom floor so it's easy to get in and out, there is dedicated green space outside, and it's a lovely property to walk around. My bed was really comfortable, the desk chair made it easy to get my work done, the breakfast buffet was first rate, and The Tavern restaurant was a great place to end the day.

This is a lovely hotel in all respects -- the grounds are elegant and perfect for a walk (with our dog, or without). The bar/restaurant is perfect for a casual, enjoyable meal, including outdoor seating. Rooms are large and very well-appointed, in excellent condition. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful. We'd look for an opportunity to stay there again!

Location was perfect - walkable to many shops and restaurants. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioner was on upon arrival which we appreciated due to the near 100 degree outside temperature.

This is a terrific hotel in a convenient Richmond location. Our experience was positive+ from the time we checked in until we had to depart. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation to anyone visiting Richmond, VA. The room was spotless. The bed firm and comfortable. Everything worked and there were plenty of towels! The server in the Breakfast Bistro complimented me a coffee even though I am not a Marriott member (I will be soon). Every employee I encountered at this hotel was friendly and pro-active. A skill often overlooked is the ability to make small talk -- and the employees here have learned that skill. Good for the management! I'll be in Richmond again during the year-end holidays and this Courtyard will be my choice.

Terrific hotel in a great location. Hotel is clean, professional, and nicely designed. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Bathroom had a nice walk-in shower. Service on day one was adequate but day two service at breakfast and front desk could use some additional people skills. Valet worked fine, and my car was brought up quickly. I appreciated the cashless tip option. Went to Hard Shell for dinner and it was superb.

I had a great experience with Donnish Taylor Valet, thanks to Donneisha! She was incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive from start to finish. Her welcoming attitude and attention to detail truly made a difference in my visit. It’s not every day you encounter someone who takes such pride in their work and goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. Donneisha’s customer service skills are outstanding—she made the entire valet process quick and stress-free. I sincerely appreciate her effort and positive energy. Solid hotel in a great location. Rooms are clean and large, the staff is friendly and helpful. The front desk and valet both went out of their way to be helpful. Of particular note, Cliff at the front door recommended the best coffee spot (Urban Farmer) and walked me there himself! He was an absolute delight and made our stay!!

We enjoyed our stay at this Sheraton despite a lot of bad reviews. I did request a renovated room and it was a nice quiet room with a lake view. The only issues were safe that didn’t work & the hot & cold water in the bathroom sink were reversed so at first I thought there was no hot water. The beds are comfortable & cozy with lots of good pillows. It had a nightlight in the bathroom & the fan for the thermostat could be set to run continuously so to block out noise. The room had a small refrigerator & a microwave. The lighting was good. They don’t provide cleaning unless your stay is over two days. They do have a breakfast buffet & a restaurant that is open for dinner. The front desk & all the staff were friendly. It is in a convenient location if you want to be in the Midlothian area

Everyone at this hotel, from the front desk staff to those hosting group breakfast, were very friendly and welcoming. The front desk staff thanked us for being a member and greeted us warmly. The ladies hosting group breakfast were cheerful and helpful. The whole environment of the hotel had a positive vibe. My husband needed ice for his cooler and asked the front desk if there was an ice machine on the first floor. There isn’t and when my husband said he’d just go to one of the floors with an ice machine, the gentleman said no need to and took the cooler and filled it with ice! Remarkable customer service! I’m sorry we didn’t get his name. As for the room - The room we had was clean and the bathroom looked like it was recently renovated. One nit picky thing about the bathroom was there wasn’t a vent, so the mirrors steamed up easily. But overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Check in was great. Front desk staff was friendly. There was noise in the halls after 10 pm, but it didn’t last long. This is one of my go to hotels whenever I visit family in Richmond. I did not like that I checked out before 8 am and did not receive an email receipt. The rooms were clean, but housekeeping could do a better job with cleaning the shower area. Nice big parking lot. Safe location. Plenty of restaurants near by.

The front desk employees were super friendly from the time we entered and the time we left the hotel! The room was spotless and the beds were really comfortable. It was very convenient with Applebee's Restaurant a walk up the steps from the parking lot! We would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the Hyatt Place Richmond Airport for a wedding close by. We really enjoyed our hotel stay. The room was big, roomy and comfortable. It was clean and things were functional. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The breakfast was actually surprisingly good. We've been to many complimentary breakfasts that were definitely subpar but not this one. The food and choices were really done nicely. The location was also very good. Close to the interstate but not close enough were you can hear the traffic. The hotel is next to many restaurants to choose from as well as right next door to a Target which is convenient for anything you need to get or forgot to bring. The only downer was we had to pay for parking which I didn't think was necessary but the all the pluses outweighed this one con. Would definitely stay with them again.

My stay at Hyatt Place was excellent from start to finish. The property looked just as I’d hoped—clean, well-lit, and inviting. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Amanda, who was incredibly personable and welcoming. She has such a sweet and pleasant disposition! Check-in was quick and easy, and my room met every expectation: clean, comfortable, and spacious. I appreciated that it was conveniently located near the elevator, with the microwave and ice machine nearby. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and selection, and checkout was just as smooth as check-in. I would definitely stay here again and happily recommend this hotel to others.

Nice hotel, love having a couch in the room which makes the stay more comfortable. Breakfast was also very good and hotel staff very friendly and helpful. They had snacks including salads in the lobby for a quick meal so you didn’t need to go out. However, there are several restaurants nearby including a Longhorn Steak House within a short walk from the hotel which was also good and offers takeout as well.

The Hyatt near Richmond downtown is an excellent choice for a stay. Just 10 minutes from the city center, nice size rooms and a welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast is a highlight, offering a delicious variety of options to start your day right. Friendly staff and convenient parking make it even better. Highly recommend for comfort and proximity to Richmond’s attractions.

Don't hesitate to book this property. Amazing location. Beautiful hotel with friendly and attentive staff. Room was clean spacious and comfortable. Complementary breakfast was the best I've had. We are very appreciative for a wonderful day spent at this facility. A highlight was Neil who checked us in and corrected an error in our booking without skipping a beat! I would go as far as to say that I would plan a future trip centered around staying here.

Clean hotel, friendly staff, excellent location! The hotel was nestled among restaurants and an open-air mall. We loved having walking access to great shopping and dining with the option to retreat into a cozy and safe room whenever we wished. The staff was kind and helpful. We also appreciated the breakfast! This was my second stay at Hyatt House at Short Pump. As in my previous stay, the staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. The hotel location is perfect for visiting friends and attractions in the Richmond area. The hotel's public areas and my room were comfortable, quiet and well-maintained.

Staff were pleasant.Breakfast was great. Rooms were very nice and it was peaceful. Beds wee comfortable and loved the kitchenette setup. Shower felt good. Very nice hotel! And loved the coffee much as you wanted. Stay was great!

Great stay! I even extended for one more night. Convenient to so many other places, stores and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. Happy to have coffee and free breakfast. Quiet and restful. I had a wonderful view of the beautiful fountain. My only complaint would be the smell of air freshener or something being pumped into the room. I couldn’t find the source, or control it, so I had to keep my window wide open during my entire stay. The smell is terribly irritating to those of us with allergies and lung issues. That’s my only complaint. Everything else was just great!

Overall my stay was pleasant and I would definitely stay here again. With that being said here are some things that are pros and cons. Pros: 1. Location!!! It’s located in the short pump area, so you are super close to great shopping and lots of amazing food options. It was easy to get to and from the hotel. 2. Parking - I liked that the parking was underground, with a key access entrance to the elevators. 3. Room - I thought the bed was very comfortable. Mini fridge and microwave were nice. Room was extremely spacious. Cons: 1. At the time of my stay one elevator was down but there was no signage stating that. So, there was some waiting. 2. Room -The room didn’t have a full length mirror, the only mirror was in the bathroom. So getting ready is harder with multiple people, and you can’t see your full outfit to make sure you look ok. There is only a shower, no tub. It was fine for me but if you’re traveling with small children that may be an issue. 3. Noise - the room I was in had a very loud heating/air unit. I like noise when I sleep so it was fine for me. If you like quiet and are a light sleeper, I could see it being a nuisance. Walls are thin and the doors slam so you hear a lot of slamming doors. If your neighbors are loud you will hear them. Overall I was pleased with my stay. They offer free breakfast (I never went so I can’t say how it is). Staff were friendly. Room was clean. I don’t have any complaints that would keep me from staying again.

Our room was spectacular!!! SOOO spacious and clean!!!! The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom had a true "handicap accessible " shower, which is not the case in many hotels that advertise as handicap accessible! Breakfast was good, coffee was delicious! Extra quilt and pillows in the closet...we appreciated all the little extras! We would definitely stay again!

Very comfy beds, great shower, clean, modern, loved the bathroom. Very attractive patterned rugs in hallways and common areas. Great breakfast choices with awesome friendly staff both there and at the front desk. Parking was very close by and easy to access. Really surprised at choice of television stations - wow! In a great location - we had a problem with our Equinox and there was a Chevy dealer NEXT DOOR.

This hotel was so clean and the staff very friendly. The hotel was quiet. The bed and bedding was comfortable. Breakfast bar was great.

All the staff was friendly, professional and helpful. The whole place was clean and inviting. The breakfast had many hot and cold choices and was always clean and inviting. Our room, which was a suite was very spacious. The 2 beds had very nice linens and plenty of pillows. It included 2 screens: Living area and bedroom. Plenty of storage options, including an easy to use safe. The bathroom was very nicely set up. Great central location, walkable to many downtown sights, especially the canal walk, historic Richmond and restaurants.

The staff was very accommodating, really friendly, helpful, professional and kind. I love the women at the front desk. We got a free upgrade on the room. The room was huge, clean, comfortable and air conditioning worked well. The downtown location was great, about 20 minutes to the Capitol building. There are a few bars and restaurants nearby too. This hotel offers a hot breakfast (omelet, sausage etc.). Other options are also available (fruits, juice, cereals, yogurt, cream cheese, jam, toast, bagels, muffins, etc.). The cinnamon rolls are delicious!

We stayed in the King Bed Executive Room, and it was a very spacious room for 2 people. They have an armoire to hang clothes with a safe, and an ironing board. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean! We stayed on the 4th floor and had a very nice view of the city. Breakfast was good (buffet style), and I appreciated being able to take it to the room and warming it up in the microwave later (since I’m not a huge morning person). The customer service was great as well! If you’re looking for a comfortable stay, look no further!

Older property kind of on the fringe of downtown. But we felt safe, the hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Everything I expected. A generous breakfast buffet in the morning with several options. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful. It seemed safe at and around the property. Room AC worked wonderfully. Breakfast was delicious. And there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance and the Amphitheatre is only a few blocks away. Cons: It would have been nice to have a ramp at the outdoor steps. Carrying luggage up the steep steps was a little awkward. Getting in/out of shower was precarious. Fortunately there was a hand rail I was able to grab before falling. The Grab & Go convenient Store was lackluster. There is a 7-11 several blocks away.

Location was perfect, convenient valet parking, clean, cohesive collegiate theme throughout, safe, quiet, fun, exceptional staff, and the beds are what dreams are made of. First time I’ve ever effortlessly slept soundly, until the morning wake up call, in an unfamiliar bed. From the moment of arrival we were met with five-star service. Immediately we were greeted with a smile from a valet attendant and our questions were answered without feeling like a nuisance. Front desk staff were remarkable, too. Everything was handled quickly but never made us feel rushed or like “just another guest.” The experience they gave was akin to seeing a friend after a too long separation. Happy to see you, glad you’re spending time with them, really hope you enjoy your stay, and can’t wait for you to visit again. Dinner from the diner was delicious and above average. (Le Cerdo burger, Smash Burger, chicken tenders, and Edward’s Ham and Cheese.) Edward’s is ham, pimento cheese, pickles, and Ritz crackers. I didn’t expect much because it doesn’t sound like much, right? Wrong! Pickle slices and pimento cheese were fresh and seemed homemade, not something plopped out of a container. Crackers were more than plentiful and the ham was -quality- sliced ham, not packaged ham from the store. It was filling and beyond expectations. We have already begun planning our next stay.

I liked the food that I ordered from the lobby cafe. It was tasty and reasonably priced for both breakfast and dinner. The room was comfy and quiet. The bed was comfortable too. Also, the shower was terrific!

This is probably our 4 or 5 time staying here, and it’s always a great experience. Rooms are large and comfy, bathrooms clean and solid water temp/pressure. We enjoy the rooftop bar and the staff are always very professional and helpful. Recommend to anyone visiting Richmond (and perfect location for VCU parents)

Really spacious rooms with unique decor that makes you feel at home. Located in a nice neighborhood with friendly, helpful staff. I always get a great cup of coffee and a delicious meal at a Graduate hotel.

Great location, close to downtown and good restaurants. Hotel is cozy. We always get the Family Suite—perfect for five adults who like each other. Bar area is nice and welcoming. Staff is awesome.

The bedroom was very spacious and clean. They had an indoor pool and a jacuzzi. Breakfast was included in the price. Decent breakfast options. I checked in late and requested a late check out and it was granted, so that was a plus.

We got a suite with Jacuzzi tub in room and a rain shower all in one! It was amazing breakfast was good comfortableness was so so the bed was just too still for me personally. We really enjoyed our stay here

Relaxing! A very serene and quaint hotel. The staff is AMAZING! VERY friendly and approachable! Spacious room (sleep sofa, mini fridge wet bar and a nice big desk and chair. The beds were so comfy-cozy that I slept greatly and didn't want to get up! Lol There is a breakfast bar, outside pool and ice machines on every floor. Waiting on an elevator can be a little bothersome at times, but, they are functional. I would give this hotel 5 stars easily, but the overnight parking fee is a bit much! AMAZING staff and proprietor! VERY clean comfortable and spacious room. The mini refrigerator and wet bar. Separate table/desk. No microwave though.The bedding was amazing! Scenic outdoors. The best part...my stay was very peaceful! Almost tranquil. That lead to good night rest.LOVED IT!

I thought the breakfast was exceptional for a hotel breakfast. The variety was wonderful and everything we tried was fresh and tasty. It was great that healthy alternatives were offered like the oatmeal with almonds or cranberries. The coffee was delicious, and we appreciated the cleanliness of the area. Thank You!!

Very comfortable hotel that lives up to Hyatt standards. The staff went over and above to accommodate us. The bed, pillows and shower were all wonderful, the ventilation system was responsive, and the lights were all in good working order. The breakfast bar was adequate. The hot food included waffles and oatmeal. There were hard boiled eggs but no scrambled or fried, pancakes or breakfast meat. There were a few items that were not perfect but all in all, this was a great experience and we would certainly return.

Conflicting information about breakfast - listings said $10 for a single item, but it was a buffet. A very very basic one, but it was free, and the serving staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was quite edible. When I checked in, the staff was friendly and chatty, helpful in explaining exactly where the room was. The room itself was booked as "accessible" - it had a roll in shower, which was perfect. The best part was that I was able to use the shower head and the shower wand at the same time for the ultimate shower. :) Bed was comfy. Furnitue was useful - rolling chair, armchair, a little table to use with the armchair for food or laptop. The desk area was nice. Plenty of USB and power ports. Light control was a little odd - lamps on either side of the bed andone on the desk, all of which were only controlled by switches on them. There was a light at the door to light the little hallway where the bathroom door was, but it wasn't bright enough to get to the lamps - I had to use my phone's flashlight. but the light was quite adequate one switched on. Decor was minimally modern. It looked nice. I thought it was all good for the price. Nothing amazing, but it was good. And good for the price.

We booked this hotel for my daughter’s club soccer team. Its location was conveniently close to airport and only about 20 min to fields as well as restaurants and shopping. We had some concerns as the photos (from the outside) were not great. However, upon arriving - the Manager (Nita Pathak) and her staff were very helpful and extremely accommodating. The area around the hotel does not have a lot of things to do. There is a McDonalds, a Subway and a Starbucks across the street. Once inside - the hotel rooms have been recently renovated. The rooms were clean; with microwaves and mini-fridges. There were new safes in the closets and (most importantly) the beds and bedding were all very good (I like a firm mattress). The TV’s were also new. The bar/restaurant attached to the hotel provided a good place to hang out; grab a drink and watch college football during our down time. I am not claiming this to be a 5 star property by any means; but, it was clean, comfortable and the management and staff were friendly and willing to help. I would have no problem having our team stay here again. Thank you to the staff for their positive attitude and experience.

The space in the room was so spacious and it was very clean . The breakfast was amazing and there were many options. The time for breakfast was by far my favorite due to the fact that I don’t have to wake up super early to not miss breakfast. that was so convenient. The staff was so fast and easy to work with. The helper in breakfast is on top of everything and is sure to politely address anything that a client needs help with. I really enjoyed my stay.

The general manager is so nice she’s amazing her energy never changes she makes you feel welcome and makes sure you’re comfortable overall everything is clean comfy even the breakfast is good definitely will return best service I’ve seen and had in a while 5 stars to the manager and staff they stay was amazing and the stay was quite comfy and clean FIVE STARS

Tremendous investment in upgrading the hotel. Very clean room. Super comfortable beds, quiet climate control, spacious bathroom counter, new flooring, local artwork, large television screen, large bathroom mirror with decorative lighting, ongoing quiet bath exhaust removing humidity and odors, new room door, new upgraded hallways, and a huge varied hot breakfast that my high school soccer player grandson devoured. Friendly staff.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a hot plate and coffee maker, so could have actually made a breakfast if we’d wanted to. Plenty of hot water and pressure for a relaxing shower! Bed was very comfortable and over sleeping would be very easy. I would definitely pick this place any time I was in Richmond, without hesitation.

This hotel was very nice! The room was clean, spacious, smelled great and was comfy. The hotel is pet friendly so I was amazed at how clean it smelled, even the elevator! There is a kitchen in the room with a full size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and stove top. There were even dishes in the room. The bathroom was beautiful and came equipped with a full size Dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. There were great amenities too. To have FREE laundry facilities is rare. I will 100% be visiting Candlewood Suites again.

Was in Richmond for the weekend with some friends and we all stayed at this hotel. Rooms were much bigger and spacious than I anticipated. Everything was clean and in excellent condition. Staff was very friendly. Every time I walked past the front desk they would ask me if there was anything they could do to make my stay even better. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better. Dozens of restaurants and bars all within walking distance. Highly recommend this to everyone, whether is a short or a long stay. Definitely staying here again whenever I’m back in Richmond.

This hotel is more like a mini apartment hotel. Rooms have full kitchen. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. No breakfast served; just free coffee and tea and some vending items. Staff are friendly. Easy check in and out. Plenty of parking.

The Olive Garden may have the Slogan "We Treat You Like Family" but Candlewood Suites in Richmond, Va. should have: When You Stay With Us, You Are Family!! After coming off the road from heavy rain, dense fog, delays due to accidents and a very frustrating experience at another hotel several miles away, we instantly felt like family with Melissa. She not only made us feel like everything was going to be okay but I had the most fun checking in and we created memories that I'm still laughing about back home hours away. She was the BEST and we were definitely meant to stay at Candlewood Suites in Richmond because it will be the forever stop if tired when traveling at that point or just to go inside and see Melissa. The room plan is so well thought out and cozy. The bed and pillows provided an awesome night's sleep, the shower felt amazing (want that exact shower head now), desk chair and chair in front of the television were extremely comfortable and having the kitchen area included with a washer and dryer across from the room felt like we had our own little apartment. We loved it! The manager, George, is so welcoming and genuinely concerned about guests enjoying their stays - if you check-in with Melissa and meet George, you definitely will want to come back. A photo is attached of our new family member, Melissa. Book your overnight stops here or stay longer and use the kitchen, washer, dryer and enjoy the delicious coffee in the lobby as well.

Very friendly staff, room was very clean and spacious. Plenty of parking, and multiple entrances so that you can park close to your room and enter. My did was with me, no issues and comfy stay for him too. Kitchenette and fridge were a very nice touch. If you’re traveling with things that need to be kept cold or you like to cook on your own, this place is for you. Also a shared grill and flat top in the common area. Walk in shower was a excellent touch as well.

I love the duvet..roomwas clean and comfortable..tv had good channels..it was nice having a full kitchen as I bought my own coffee.I would love to know where I can purchase your duvet..I enjoyed the shower/bathroom space.The front night manager (can't remember)his name was courteous and professional.

Nice hotel near the airport. Plenty of parking and the rooms were quite spacious and updated. Very close to 1-95 but not near a whole lot. It's off the beaten path so it's quiet at night. Front desk staff was quite helpful. WiFi wasn't great. It's very clean.

I loved everything about my stay, the only issue I had is that Expedia says they have a Jacuzzi and they don’t.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. the lounge is extremely convenient especially coming in late and not having eaten. breakfast is always hot and well stocked. the Starbucks coffee machine was amazing. the rooms were comfortably furnished and impeccably clean. the shower was roomy and comfortable. it's in a great part of town within walking distance of shops and restaurants. I can not say enough good things about our stay here.

We stayed at the Richmond Marriott Short Pump as part of our family’s East Coast Road trip. We were on our way from Gettysburg to Colonial Williamsburg and this Marriott was a convenient stopover. The lobby was bright, airy, and pleasant. Our room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and quiet. It looks like the entire hotel had recently been remodeled. They did a great job! Finally, their front desk staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. I have only one complaint. After going to several floors, I could not find a working ice machine. All and all, we had a pleasant stay at the Richmond Marriott Short Pump.

Great place to stay. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. I’ve stayed here maybe 20+ nights and it’s always clean, comfortable and convenient. Highly recommended. Will continue to be my go to when I’m in Richmond. About every other week. Banika, at the front desk, is fantastic, remembers me every time, is hard working and always personable.

Everything about our stay was excellent. The staff was amazing the room was clean the bed was comfortable the kitchenette was convenient and well stocked.

The entire hotel was very clean and all the employees were very friendly and helpful. Our room was equipped with everything we needed. the only complaint was our icemaker couldn't keep up, but thankfully there was an ice machine on our floor. One other thing is the outside gas grills needs to be check out by a professional as the gas took a long time to come on and when it did it just about blow my head off. We truly enjoyed our stay and would and will come back again.

This was a very decent hotel for the price point; Room 407 was super clean (had just been cleaned as I arrived), and everything was in order. Front desk was super courteous during entire stay. Breakfast was a nice bonus, but not sure what the egg-product was every day...I'm used to farm-fresh eggs, and well, that wasn't it. But the rest of the breakfast fare was decent enough to have partaken daily. To the management: you might want to rethink those cheesy folded "egg" things :) Parking was decent, the location was safe and convenient to main routes, and there is a TGI Friday's just off the parking lot a stone's throw away. No need to drive very far if you prefer other options, as this is right on the main thoroughfare for eating, fueling up your rental, or other amenities. Checkout was a breeze. Only comments: Elevators could use some regular attention/cleaning, and common-hall carpet might need refreshing in the not-so-distant future. Not sure what some of the more negative reviews are all about unless there's renovations going on and perhaps some non-renovated rooms are still being let out...hard to say, but that was not my experience.

The receptionist on duty was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the staff did a great job managing the breakfast services. The 24-hour coffee station was a plus. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

The minute I checked into my room, I smelled instant aromas of CLEAN!! Very friendly staff, free breakfast and WiFi, nice upgraded rooms, great location. Highly recommend for business or solo travel. Plenty of restaurants and gas stations nearby as well.

We arrived well after 2am and the front desk clerk was crisp and professional at that late hour. She gave us two free water bottles, which was very appreciated. The bedding was clean and comfy and the room was spacious and also clean. In the morning, we got breakfast at their little cafe and Miss Doris was a hoot! She told us she was a drill sergeant in the Army and was just a delight to speak with. She made the stay memorable and fun. This was a clean and convenient stay for an overnight stay on a long road trip.

Clean rooms, comfort, kindness from staff and fresh breakfast. The manager of this location Jerome was excellent. He provided hospitality and quality customer service. Under his leadership, the hotel staff and services were by far above par. This made the experience memorable. Also notable is the Bistro breakfast a hot made to order breakfast sandwich with egg, bacon, arugula on a freshly buttered brioche bun; juice; fresh fruit; coffee.

The breakfast cafe is wonderful and so much better than a free continental breakfast bar which has mostly unhealthy choices. If you like oatmeal, it is the most creamy, delicious oatmeal ever. It is served with fruit, brown sugar, and anything else which is available. The women who staff the breakfast bar start your day with cheer and joyfulness. They are all wonderful, but I must give a shout out to Virginie, who is exceptional.

Front desk person was wonderful and very friendly also room was amazing clean upgraded and bed was very comfortable. Very safe place will def stay there again and again.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Was somewhat surprised there was no coffee station. The Bistrow restaurant was available at 7am with strong coffee and fairly good food, but expensive. The attendants were friendly.

The room was very comfortable, spacious. It was very clean. The lobby was clean too. The staff manning the front desk were very helpful. The breakfast I had of fresh fruits was delicious. When we first arrived, the key machine wasn't working, so we couldn't get our keys but the lady at the front desk led us to our room and opened it for us. When we returned to the hotel later in the evening, she had the keys waiting for us.

Excellent economic stay for the family. Safe. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Included breakfast offered variety. Hot: bacon, eggs, seasoned potatoes, waffle s. Cold: cereal, cut fruit, yogurt, bagels. For all the reviews that complain there is no soap/shampoo/etc, try looking on the wall or asking staff. Reserved a room with pull out couch. No pullout linens were in the room. Spoke to staff who very kindly provided all supplies. If wear and tear are not acceptable, don't book here. Linens had some small stains but were freshly laundered. If you set your expectations to the price point you are willing to pay, this will make you happy.

Fantastic experience!!! The man at the front desk at check in might have been the friendliest person Ive ever encountered at any hotel ive ever stayed in. The rest of the staff was just as friendly. Every time we passed someone we were greeted with a smile and a hello. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone and will be using again in the future.

My husband and I were traveling with our dog, and this was a one night stopover. We were extremely pleased at the quality of our stay! The receptionist was friendly, helpful and accommodating. She worked hard to get us a room that would be convenient for our dog. She also gave recommendations on events happening in the area. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was definitely above average — in addition to offering eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns, there was a waffle machine, a yogurt machine, oatmeal, cereal, numerous baked goods, fresh fruit, juice and an upscale coffee machine. We will definitely be bookmarking this place, and anytime we are traveling through, we would stay here again!

On a recent business trip to Richmond, Virginia, I stayed at an excellent and economical hotel. The standout feature? The fluffiest pillows I've ever experienced! They were incredibly soft yet supportive, perfect for a restful night's sleep after a long day of meetings. The pillows adapted well to all sleeping positions, preventing the usual neck stiffness I get from travel. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, with friendly staff and a convenient location. Overall, the combination of comfort and affordability made this one of my best hotel stays, with those amazing pillows being a highlight. If you're in Richmond, this hotel is a must for a great night's sleep! :)

Stopped for one night at this dog friendly hotel. Very clean, large room, good coffee machine for breakfast, simple but tasty breakfast options. Well lit parking lot with plenty of green area for dog walking. Easy highway access as well without any highway noise. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was helpful and patient. The room was clean and spacious. It was quiet and they had laundry on site. Breakfast was good with eggs, turkey sausage, oj, coffee and a bagel with orange marmalade.

Price was perfect for a quick sleep half way between Maine and Florida. Room was clean, breakfast was on par with other hotels, right near the exit off 95 and staff was friendly. I imagine it's more expensive when the King's Dominion across the street is open but in February, price perfect.

I picked the hotel because of its proximity to the airport. There was good shuttle service, but it was a bit of a long wait on a Tuesday night. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was standard Hampton—Wawa is close by if needed, as well as for food, etc. The staff was helpful, and the property was quiet. There is an HGI next door. A stand-up shower was nice to have.

The Hampton Inn at the Richmond Airport is clean and a convenient 10 minutes away from the terminal. Rooms and the breakfast are typical for the brand. The exercise room had limited working equipment (when I stayed in November 2023). The front desk clerk, Aaron, was particularly helpful. One thing on Trip Advisor that is inaccurate is that parking was not free while you're a guest. You are charged $5 to park WHILE YOU ARE A GUEST -- I found that on their website after I was charged.) You can leave your car, however, in a well lit lot if you need long term parking at that same rate of $5 per day and there is a free shuttle service to and from the airport. That service was very reliable when I used it. Overall, it's a clean bed for the night with a helpful front desk.

The property was clean, quiet and very conducive to a peaceful night’s rest. The breakfast was delicious, boasting a very nice selection to choose from for any appetite. We had a small issue with the bathroom but we were given another room quickly. We were well pleased. I would stay again and recommend to others as well.

The pool was clean. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was nice, even with the crowd and being late. The room was just as expected, a comfy bed and the shower had great water pressure. There is a walmart 5 minutes away and a Wawa withing walking distance.

I loved the location everything was less than 20 mins away walmart , shopping plaza restaurants ect. I also love the 24 hr hot beverages in the lobby that was nice, I love coffee lastly the breakfast was very good my family loves waffles & the hot entree was good also .Oh and gentleman in the evening was very friendly he acknowledged us when we came In from dinner & when my boys wanted to purchase snacks .

The title says it all in a nutshell. Matthew at check-in was professional but friendly as well which is appreciated. He answered all of my questions and always said hello while I was passing through the lobby. The hotel and room were remarkably clean which is a huge factor in considering a future stay. The double queen room was comfortable and had plenty of space. Nothing felt cramped. Possibly the most remarkable aspect of the stay was how quiet the building was. Obviously, every night can change with new guests coming in and others leaving. However, throughout the entire two night stay, there was barely any noise. Now I will say that mine was an end room and doubtfull there was anyone in the room next to me. But even the hallways outside the room were quiet. That's very unusual for any hotel. And yes, the portion of the parking lot that could be seen from the window showed a full lot overnight. So this was not an empty hotel. Even the heating/cooling system were remarkably quiet. Some hotels have a ventilation system that sounds like a jet engine when running. Any downsides? Courtyard does not offer complimentary continental breakfast, but rather has a nice spacious cafe area in the lobby. Also, the bathroom fan was a bit on the noisy side, but there have been worse. So, overall, this is a hotel well worth considering again if in the area. But, even with all of these glowing remarks, this is still not the Waldorf Astoria.

Arrived after a very long car drive with my family. Everyone was tired of sitting and in need of a comfortable bed. We had gotten a great deal on Priceline. The hotel is in a corporate area with retail and restaurants nearby. Very quiet area, well landscaped and felt very safe. Darryl was friendly and positive as he quickly checked us in and directed us to the elevator. The room was clean and the beds/pillows were comfortable. Smaller tv, but it had a bunch of channels including HBO and 2 ESPN's. There was a restaurant and a bar in the hotel, but we didn't use them. We left early the next morning.

This motel offers very a relaxing and quiet experience. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The beds were soft and comfortable. I did not understand having to pay extra for coffee as every other hotel we have stayed in offers free coffee.

This location is always clean and the staff is usually kind, knowledgeable and helpful. When I booked my room the included breakfast didn't appear on my reservation at the hotel, so I showed the concierge my email containing the information where I had booked and was able to eat breakfast at no additional cost. For all my coffee fans this location has a limited Starbucks selection. Room was clean and the essentials are in the room. Ambiance is a great place for couples.

The staff at this property couldn't do enough for me, friendly , courteous and accommodating! The hotel was clean, the room and bed was comfortable, good shower, the wifi was good. Hotel staff was hospitable and the location for food, Starbucks etc was great.

We were given a handicapped accessible room even though we had booked a regular King room. Very spacious with lot’s of room! The bed was soft but comfortable. Adequate number of pillows. The small refrigerator kept everything very cold. We did not use the coffee maker as there was 24 hr coffee in the lobby. Staff were excellent and very welcoming. The girls who checked us in even recommended a nearby restaurant which was very good. Breakfast was really good. Fresh omelettes with your choice of items to put in them; bagels, whole wheat & white breads, hot oatmeal and waffles and pastries & muffins for dessert. We will definitely stay here again.

The room was spacious and comfortable, however the room door kept sticking which made it difficult to open and close the door. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with extra towels or blankets for the kids. The pool was a great temperature and the area was clean. The breakfast was good and the attendants during breakfast were kind and helpful. Our only gripe was that there was construction happening during our stay. They were courteous enough to not do any construction during the night but some of us wanted to sleep in and were unable to do so with the work happening outside.

It was updated and clean. The bed was comfortable with multiple pillows. The bathroom was spacious, very clean, and soap/shampoo/conditioner were provided. The pool was small, but it was fine for our group. Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was good. (Scrambled eggs, sausage, burritos, single waffles, fruit, boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal, pastries, etc) The hotel was easy to find, and there was plenty of parking. Highly recommend.
