I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel recently, and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, which set the tone for a great visit. We stayed in the Presidential Suite, which was both cozy and spacious, offering plenty of room for us to continue celebrating a birthday party after leaving the banquet space (due to the music curfew at 11 PM). It was the perfect setting for a relaxed and intimate gathering with some of our guests. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and breakfast the next morning was excellent—delicious and satisfying! Overall, this hotel met the expectations in terms of service, comfort, and hospitality. I would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay.

The staff at both the reception and the restaurant (during breakfast) were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and the hotel itself was clean and well-maintained. The location is fantastic.

The staff was very friendly and professional, and everything was clean. The bathroom could be a bit more modern and updated, though. The location is excellent, and the sunset view was spectacular. The best part was the breakfast — so delicious, high-quality, and with a wide range of options. Loved it!

We had an amazing stay at Lielupe SPA Hotel in Jūrmala! The breakfast was absolutely delicious with a great variety of fresh and tasty options every morning. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and had an incredibly comfortable bed that made us sleep like a dream. The hotel’s location is perfect — close to the sea and surrounded by beautiful nature, with breathtaking views right from the window. We would definitely love to come back again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jūrmala!

Our stay at Lielupe Hotel SPA was absolutely perfect! The staff were friendly and professional, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the spa facilities were exceptional. Everything—from the delicious breakfast to the relaxing atmosphere—exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway!

We have enjoyed the stay and my kid has so much Fun at the pool, special thank to the lady at the Reception Patricia very lovely and smily lady was so helpful and extended the checkout to enjoy the pool before departure. Staff in the main restaurant were very helpful and friendly, very good varieties and delicious food. GYM is well equipped and clean.

We had a lovely stay! The location is fantastic—right by the sea, surrounded by fresh air and beautiful pine trees. The breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were cozy and comfortable. We also really enjoyed the SPA procedures, which were well-organized and relaxing. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Staff upgraded my room, to a 7th floor 711 room, the view was amazing. Spa is quite small, yet you have all you need, nice pool, big jacuzzi, cold bath, and 3 saunas. All in all, good place to relax!

Warm and kind atmosphere and customer service. Super child friendly, we got a crib for our baby and the receptionist also gave her a plushie toy to take home. We also got a complementary visit to the spa with the baby. The spa was beautiful, clean and relaxing, with a pool and jacuzzi and several saunas. The location was perfect, just by the old town and close to airport bus.

The hotel was very nice. Breakfast was great as the other reviewers have mentioned. The spa package is well worth it if you have 60-90 minutes to spare each the day. The Pool is huuuuge by hotel standards. Saunas, steam rooms, large jacuzzi pool and cold plunge were very nice. The hotel does not accept American Express, which was very odd since it advertises itself as an international hotel. The price seemed a little expensive for a midweek stay, but there was a basketball tournament going on which may have justified the 300+ dollar per night room cost.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. A lot of personal touches such as water bottle, minibar, vanity kits, safe, iron and ironing board. Lovely view of the river, bridges and National Library. Very close 3-minute walk to public airport bus (22) pick-up and drop-off. 5-minute walk into the centre of old town. Staff were lovely and extremely helpful and flexible (made changes to my room and spa timeslot without any problems at all). Food was delicious. I don't often choose to eat in hotels when visiting places, but had all of my breakfasts there and 3 evening meals. No complaints at all. See photos. Breakfast selection was one of the best I've seen in a hotel and to a very high standard. Continental, salad, hot standard (bacon, scrambled eggs, tomatoes), pancakes and crepes made fresh by a member of staff in front of you, cakes, fruits, juices, hot drinks, champagne. I actually looked forward to my breakfast each day! Evening meals were restaurant standard, very tasty and presented professionally. Spa was easily a big highlight. Very serene and clean. I had the luxury of having the spa to myself due to visiting on the last time slot of the day. It was a perfect end to a perfect trip. Riga is a lovely city, when I come back I would 100% be looking to stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at Wellton Riverside. We stayed in a big corner room with a river view. The room was very bright, spacious with big panoramic windows and fantastic vista. It was perfectly clean and had all the necessities: safe, mini bar, iron with iron board, coffee machine, comfortable mattress. Breakfast was fantastic with a great variety of food. I would emphasize a separate pancakes station with different kinds of pancakes and sparkling wine. Staff at the reception was very polite and friendly. Luise checked us in and gave all the information needed about the hotel facilities. We booked directly at the hotel website and got a voucher for a free drink in the bar as a goodwill gesture. It was unexpected and pleasantly. Also, complimentary coffee from the machine at the reception area was definitely a plus. Wellton Riverside was the best choice for reasonable price. I highly recommend the hotel and we will stay there again in our next visit to Riga.

A really comfortable hotel on the edge of the old town (which I liked as I was near the sights, without being in party central) and near the Central Market and the train station. I had a really relaxing massage and treatment - I'd strongly recommend booking something, and there is a small spa (though you probably don't need the offered 90 minutes per session - it's two saunas, a cold water bucket, a shower, a jacuzzi and a small massage pool). The rooms was clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had loads of tasty options, (heads up: the end of breakfast time doesn't just mean no more foot, it means you're politely asked to leave the room). The whole hotel smells nice and has a feeling of calm, there are water fountains on every floor, staff was very pleasant and the food I tried in the restaurant was tasty.

I booked this very last minute from my phone and got a great rate and was lucky to get a room late Friday evening, For us it was a place to sleep before we caught our flight home We were met at the desk by a very polite member of staff who put us at ease and took our details and then off to the room which was excellent with a huge double bed and clean. The bathroom was clean with a nice shower the hotel does provide large shampoo and conditioner bottles inside the shower and body lotion outside of the shower. I would have liked to have seen a complimentary toothbrush and tooth paste for those who forget theirs but that's just a little thing that could be added there's a mini bar should you need it along with Coffee making facilities with biscuits, it's a great location just into the old quarter and not far from the markets ,bus station and a stones throw from the trains station to. The hotel is just around the corner from a street where there are quite a few bars which are open until 2am which some may find annoying But if you're on holiday get out there and embrace it ,the hotel does have double glazing or it may have been triple glazed and there is a very small amount of noise, which may annoy some people if they are wanting to sleep with the windows open on exceptionally hot nights. However there is air conditioning in the room should you need it. for us it was a nice place to stay and would recommend it highly.

Location is right in Old Riga Town. If you are not willing to take a private airport transfer, a bus stop is across the road. Also, a small grocery store to buy snacks, drinks, etc., was nice to have opposite the hotel. Smooth check-in, amazing, helpful and positive staff. The room was clean, with lots of light, a lovely view of the bustling city, a comfortable bed and a minibar with a good selection of items. The Tapas restaurant experience was fabulous. We enjoyed delicious food and local beers.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Riga! The room was clean and comfy, and the location made it easy to explore the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had lots of delicious choices. The elevator acted up a bit at first, but it got fixed quickly, so everything ended up being smooth and relaxing.

Very comfortable beds, good equipped bathroom with all nessessary (body lotion, shampoo, balsam), mini-bar with big choice of drinks and snacks. Also big choice of tea and coffe at room. Views also okey. Breakfast was delicious and very diverse selection! Few coffe makers also and in the morning they offered a glass of champagne 🥂! Hotel is very good location, few minutes to Riga market or opera or old town or bus/train station! I liked also the luggage storing option after check-out. Perfect hotel location. 🙏 we would like to come back soon!

Excellent hotel in convenient central location in heart of the old town, making it perfect to use as a base from which to explore Riga. Hotel staff on reception were super professional and friendly. I sent a request prior to arrival asking if I could be allocated a quiet room (being a light sleeper and worried about noise from bars and stag parties!) and was given a perfect choice tucked away at end of corridor facing courtyard. Room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was incredible - huge choice of options, hot and cold. Spa was closed for maintenance (was informed of this in advance by email) and was offered alternative facilities at sister hotel five mins away. Amazing, loved it here and would 100% stay here again. This establishment offers an exceptional stay. Our room was spacious, featuring a large bed, a coffee table with two chairs, a sofa, a desk, a water heater for tea and coffee, an ample wardrobe, and a large-screen television. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. We particularly appreciated the presence of USB-A and USB-C plugs in addition to the standard outlets. The bathroom was also generously sized, equipped with all the necessary amenities such as a dental kit, body lotion, shampoo, soap, conditioner, bathrobes, and slippers. The floor heater was particularly impressive. Breakfast was served at the restaurant adjacent to the hotel, which provided a pleasant dining experience. The food was of high quality, although the variety was limited. Overall, the establishment maintained exceptional cleanliness standards. Location was great, right in the city center, just a few minutes walking from the main attractions.

It was clean, modern and central in the old town, with polite, helpful and professional staff. When I arrived there was a problem with a burst pipe in my room; staff had already arranged for me to stay in a nearby sister hotel that night, and when i returned for the remainder of my stay I was automatically upgraded to one of the suites, which was wonderful. The whole process was very smooth, efficient and professional.

The Wellton Centrum Hotel & Spa was excellent in every way. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room and fantastic breakfast included in the price of our stay. Perfectly located in centre of Old Town but still very peaceful. I asked for a quiet room and was allocated one at the very end of the corridor on 2nd floor facing inwards over the spa. Checked out extremely early but no problem as reception is manned around the clock. Couldn't ask for a better base for our first trip to Riga.

A nice hotel in a perfect location in the middle of everything. It was easy to get to attractions and restaurants. My room was quiet and I rarely heard next door. The restaurant had delicious food and the staff were friendly.

Dog- and kid-friendly hotel with free parking, good restaurant and pool, located right by the Riga-Tallinn highway. We had quiet family rooms facing the forest, slept with windows open and had a good rest. Comfy beds. The reception guy was really friendly and we were able to visit the pool with the kids. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a terrace. We had both dinner and buffet breakfast and were impressed with the quality of food. Tea kettle and tea sets provided in rooms.

Comfortable location when on a road trip. Interesting interior design. Friendly and helpful staff. Thanks to the awesome receptionist, we got to go to the spa area even if we hadn't booked a time in advance! The room was clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. We have stayed in this hotel several times during the last few years, and all the options we tried from the restaurant menu were exceptional. This time, I had lamb rumb steak, and it was the most tender meat I have ever eaten.

We stayed at Port Hotel with our family and had a truly wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm and professional service at both the reception and the restaurant. The evening turned out to be extra special – live music, delicious food, and a cozy atmosphere. The kids loved the playgrounds, both indoors and outdoors – which meant peace of mind for the parents! In the morning, we enjoyed a refreshing swim in the pool, followed by an absolutely delicious and generous breakfast – available until 1:00 PM on weekends, which is a huge plus! We all loved it and will definitely come back!

We stayed at NEW RIXWELL COLLECTION SEASIDE HOTEL JURMALA and had a wonderful experience! 🌟 The hotel is new, modern, and very cozy. The rooms are clean, stylishly decorated, and have a pleasant atmosphere. Daily housekeeping was excellent — everything was neat and thoughtfully arranged. The beds were especially comfortable, with high-quality linens — we slept like a dream! The location is perfect: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, with beautiful pine-lined paths nearby, as well as cafes, restaurants, and shops. Evening walks around Jūrmala were especially enjoyable. The staff were exceptional — polite, friendly, and always ready to help. Breakfast was delicious and varied, with great presentation. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. We’d happily return and definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family! 💙

The hotel is perfectly located right in the city center and just a short walk from the sea. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Our room was clean and had a beautiful view of the pine trees. The breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety to suit every taste. A big highlight was the rooftop terrace with comfy sun loungers and umbrellas — perfect for sunbathing when it’s too windy at the beach.

Very convenient location for exploring Jūrmala on foot- just 1 minute from the main pedestrian street, and maybe 10 minutes to the beach. We booked a room with balcony and sauna, which was perfect - good size, balcony was huge, and the sauna was ideal for 1 or 2 people. Staff spoke English and were always really helpful. Parking cannot be reserved in advance, but we were told that there isn’t usually parking available mid-week, and it was easy to park when we arrived. Breakfast was buffet-style, and there was a good selection to choose from.

This is a great hotel with great staff. Julie welcomed us with a nice smile .Shr was very friendly and accommodating.Julie even offered hot water for our baby to make milk for him. They have the greatest breakfast!I have been to many hotels, and just before coming to Jurmala ,we stayed two other hotels, but Rixwell's breakfast was to another level,very unique and delicious. Julie and Martha tried everything to make our stay comfortable. I also noticed the owner sitting quietly during breakfast and monitoring whether guests were comfortable, which was quite nice.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and we even had a jacuzzi in the bathroom. Fresh sheets, towels, soap, and shower gel were provided, as expected. The large windows and bright surroundings made the space feel welcoming, and there was plenty of room to relax or work if needed. The service was excellent, and the staff were very helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious and filling enough to last the whole day. I especially enjoyed the music in the restaurant in the mornings.

The hotel is located away from the center of Riga, but the location was good when traveling by car. The hotel parking was on the street and there was a lot of parking space behind the hotel. A quiet hotel. The room was clean and spacious, a great addition that an extra bed was put up for the child without a separate request. The room also had a jacuzzi, where it was nice to relax. The only minus was the bad mattress, the springs of which were clearly visible, so we didn't get a good night's sleep. The breakfast was sufficiently varied and tasty.

I promise that I travel a lot, but I have never seen such a beautiful place, a mini villa with a garden terrace, small but wonderful. There is everything you need. I will gladly return to this wonderful little house.

Every time I go there - it's absolutely great place to relax! On workdays it is very quiet and almost no people. There are 3 saunas, a very deep swimming-pool and jacuzzi. You can also enjoy a drink or snack ar the bar. Very convenient, because working hours are until 10 PM.

Amazing spot in Riga for some relaxation. 3 different types of saunas with different temperatures and even snow for very brave clients. Very warm swimming pool with jacuzzi, bubbles and cascades. Just remember that in some places swimming pool as deep as 2.40 metres. On top of everything there is a bar right next to the swimming pool. I really enjoyed my face and back massage. Would highly recommend this place.

I was pleasantly surprised about staff and Spa centre. The spa centre has 3 saunas (aroma sauna, russian sauna and turkish steam sauna), t is very good, quite high. There are some showers, bath for legs (warm-cold), jacuzzi, bar and large swimming pool with several cascades. The atmosphere is good and comfortable, hair dryer in wardrobe is better that in some other places. Only some signs are only in Latvian but you can understand, there is nothing so complicated. There could be some problems with swimming pool for non-swimmers or who are not so good because the depth varies from 1.1 until 2.4m and it goes very fast in deep. There is not a lot of waterparks in Riga and this one I suggest to visit.

Hotel located not in the center, but easy access with the car, just 5-8 minutes, swimming pool and spa area located in the next building, so you need to walk outside the building to enjoy it, very pleasant swimming pool area, free of charge for hotel guests, restaurant with tasty food, however breakfast were simple, staff very friendly

Very good small hotel. Clean and comfortable room. Responsive and accommodative staff. Shopping center with restaurants nearby is a plus. A little bit far from the city center (15 min by a bus), but the transfer is easy if you buy bus tickets ahead (there is no way to pay for transportation nearby or online).

This is an excellent boutique hotel in the centre of the old town. It is well placed, with easy access to the sights, restaurants, bars, and live music. The hotel is beautifully decorated and rooms and public areas demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, even down to the breakfast crockery. It felt very luxurious. My room had a view of the square, which was lovely and allowed me to watch the sunset over the city every night. The room was very well decorated and was also modern, with lots of charging points next to the bed. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless, with an excellent shower. It was perfect. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with lots of cold and hot- cooked to order - options. There were also home made cakes and biscuits daily. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough; it was truly fabulous and I hope to return soon. Finally, please do take up the offer of an airport/hotel transfer. The driver who collected me waited for over an hour at the airport as my flight was delayed - this rarely happens. He was also an excellent advertisement for the city, pointing out places of interest and talking about the city history and culture. It was worth every penny.

This is a lovely modern boutique hotel in a central location. The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean. The lobby, glass and entrance were all beautifully decorated and clean. The bedroom was decorated nicely and the shower room was bright and modern. The staff were all helpful and friendly and breakfast was a generous selection with hot food freshly made to order and with pleasant service. Our stay was good value in a small double which had everything we needed for a great stay. The only thing to note is some of the rooms have no windows, we’d read this from other reviews and it didn’t affect our overall experience and stay. I’d highly recommend the hotel and would stay again.

The room and the location were just perfect. Very spacious room and bathroom, maybe a little too many lights standing on the desks. But apart form that very comfortable. Also the location of the hotel was very convenient, right in the heart of the old town. I really loved the breakfast, especially the choices and the coffee, hot chocolate. It was delicious. The service of the reception was outstanding, very helpful and Friendly staff.

I travel all the time because of my job and stay in hotels. This hotel is in an excellent location for its price. First of all, the location is within walking distance to everywhere too many Riga touristic places. When you arrive at the hotel, there are wonderful receptionists who greet you at the front desk. They are very friendly and obviously well educated. In addition to all these good things, an welcoming drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) is also offered upon check-in. Every comfort has been considered in the rooms: bathrobes, slippers, Nespresso coffee capsules and machines, and a bottle of water as a complimentary treat. Additionally, you can have breakfast on the terrace floor, in front of a window with a beautiful view, accompanied by great music and with excellent service. They make you feel special even at breakfast, and besides all this, the breakfast has a very affordable price. If you visit Riga, come to this hotel without hesitation and any search. As someone who has stayed in many hotels, I guarantee that you will be satisfied. 😉

Fantastic view from the room (we booked a sea view). Clean and comfortable . The food at the restaurant is very tasty. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast was amazing! I will definitely come back ! Only one recommendation : I would a kettle to the room so you can make tea in the evening and enjoy the view from the room )))

Everything was amazing. Room was newly eqiped. Everything is so accurate and nice. Room was spacious, toiletries were very high quality, welcoming red wine and sweets! Coffee machine and minibar was plenty of various drinks!!! Breakfast a la carte meniu and wide choice! Restaurant is serving very high quality meals! Room was much better than in photos.

Prime location in front of the beach. Our room had floor to ceiling windows giving us unobstructed views of the Gulf of Riga and the sky. The room came with all the amenities we needed (particularly, a fridge and air conditioning). The room had good soundproofing which blocked off the pounding music from a nearby club/restaurant. We also got a bottle of still water and a tray of pastries as welcome gifts. Apparently, only the VIP rooms get a welcome bottle of wine. We were also able to use the lounge chairs and beach umbrella in the hotel’s private beach for free. It was so relaxing laying on the lounge chair with complimentary bottles of still and sparkling water while soaking up the sun. The hotel’s location was also a bit further away from the main tourist area which we liked. Breakfast was wonderful. We both loved the grilled octopus on toast.

the house was really comfortable, had everything you need. It was nice & warm even though outside was snowy & cold. Pool , sauna & jacuzzi were amazing , perfect for a relaxing break.

We stayed for only one night but we really enjoyed the swimming pool and the bbq in the garden. The host was very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this place as it is safe to know that if there will be raining- you can stay inside as you have swimming pool to enjoy, if you want to go by the seaside - only 10 mins drive by car. The house interior is very interesting and unusual, lots of candles and small stuff created to feel cosy inside :-)

Very well equipped guest house with pretty much everything you need. Very cozy, spacious and stylish living room with nice sound system, screen projector, fire place and other goodies. SPA area downstairs is quite spacious ans pool/sauna work very well.

It was just amazing. The spa zone, the living area, outdoor space. Everything was just excellent truly. The hosts were so welcoming, showed everything around and answered all the questions.

Everything was super clean and the apartment is really cozy. Also, it is near city center, so it is easy to make it to the heart of the Riga and see wonderful architecture. The holder of the apartment is very friendly, speaks English really well. As well, he recommended us where we can eat breakfast - the place was amazing! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay😊

We stayed for around 3 weeks. The property is very spacious and has everything you might need for your stay in Riga. There are towels, bed linen (even linen in the huge pull-out sofa bed for it), all the necessary kitchenware, plates and utensils, microwave, electric stovetop, teapot. And the most important thing - everything is clean! The room has a private bathroom with bathtub, sink and toilet, kind bed and pull-out sofa bed. Outside the room (in the lobby) there is also a washing machine and drying machine in case you need to wash and dry clothes. Even though the property is located on the busy centre road, it is very quite in the room and nothing disturbs your piece (neighbours are also not heard). On top of everything the property offers free parking during your stay. Yes, it is a 4 minute walk away from the property but your car will be safely parked in a private parking behind the barrier. We also enjoyed clear instructions and the seamless self check-in and self check-out process with no need to meet with the hosts (the hosts are very pleasant people by the way - we met few times during our long stay). It felt safe to be in the property and we would definitely choose it again!

Spent 2 weeks in Riga in a studio apartment, and I highly recommend it for longer-term stays, will beat many AirBnbs - and most hotels! - for price/performance. It is not a hotel but if you want the feeling of having your own little apartment in Riga, this is for you. The location is excellent, close to all major public transport on the main Riga street. With daily public transport tickets you don’t need a car, but if you have one, it can be parked next to a bus stop across the street. It’s a historical building so expect climbing up a few stairs. Our studio was just like in the photos, with a fully equipped bathroom and kitchen, and fast, stable WiFi throughout. Several studios shared a lobby with a washer & dryer which was quite convenient. Self check-in was convenient as we had a late flight. We had a quiet room overlooking a courtyard, and no problems with inner soundproofing as the doors are very good. Cleaning can be arranged on request, we had one in the middle of our stay. The owner Toms was very quick to respond and take care of any questions throughout the stay, so I recommend getting in touch via Whatsapp or Booking with any questions.

I had a wonderful stay at Baltic Design Apartments. The apartment was clean, and had everything you might need. The self check-in process was smooth and convenient. Plus, the free parking was a great bonus. The location was excellent, very central with easy public transport access. Highly recommend for a comfortable and hassle-free stay!
