My last-minute same-day booking scored me an outdoor jacuzzi—spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The property is just a short walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. Breakfast was decent, and the staff’s warm welcome made me feel at home.

The private jacuzzi, the breakfast, the super comfy bed, everything was perfect for our last stay in Bali.

What a fabulous place to stay so peaceful, quiet and relaxing only a 2 min walk to the beach with restaurants and bars and 2 min walk the opposite way to the main road for shops restaurants money changers. It’s a perfect location. The villas were large and clean and exactly as they appear in the photos. Breakfast was amazing. It is a very small hotel so would recommend for couples or those wanting quiet and relaxation. If you are wanting swim up bars and lots of activities this is not the place. I could not fault it I will definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at Parigata Villas Resort. The setting, gardens, and pool were beautifully maintained—quiet and relaxing throughout. We stayed in an Executive Private Pool Villa, which was peaceful and spacious. The outdoor area was well appointed and very comfortable. Inside, everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. The location is excellent—just a short walk to restaurants, warungs, the beach, and the main shopping and dining areas. We’d happily stay again and highly recommend it for a peaceful getaway in Sanur.

Our stay at Parigata Villas Resort was absolutely amazing! We went there for our honeymoon, and from the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. We were welcomed with a refreshing local fruit drink, and the staff took our bags to our room, where we were surprised with a beautiful flower arrangement on the bed—such a lovely touch! We stayed for one week, and throughout our entire stay, the staff were just incredible. Our room was cleaned daily, and the team even remembered our breakfast order each morning, which made us feel so cared for. Ana at the Villas Café was especially wonderful—always going out of her way to make us feel welcome, and she was so genuinely friendly. The resort itself is in a peaceful location on a quiet road, just a two-minute walk from the beach. The beach was also quiet and relaxing, lined with charming cafés and incredibly friendly locals. We loved every minute of our stay and would highly recommend Parigata Villas Resort to anyone visiting Bali. We’ll definitely be back! I had a wonderful stay at 101 Oasis! The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed that made for a great night's sleep. Everything was well-maintained, and the amenities provided made my stay even more enjoyable. The pool was absolutely amazing—clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing. Whether for a morning swim or an afternoon dip, it was a highlight of my stay. The surrounding area was also well-kept, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast was a delightful experience! There was a great variety of fresh and delicious options, from hot dishes to pastries and fresh fruits. The quality and selection exceeded my expectations, and the staff ensured everything was replenished promptly.

Stayed for 2 nights and was great! Staff were so friendly and helpful, rooms nice and clean, comfy beds. We had plunge pool room which we loved, our teenagers had the lagoon access room which was perfect for them! Brekkie was great, cocktails at happy hour were good value and standard for Bali cocktails. Great location and pools were beautiful! Great coffee across the road and easy walk to beach for great restaurants and bike hire. We would stay here again!

We stayed at The 101 Bali Oasis Sanur for 4 days / 3 nights in a deluxe room, it had a gorgeous view from balcony of the pool, the room had all amenities and a nice bathroom with build in bidet 😜 The breakfast buffet was super tasty, with variety every other day change, the dinner menu was also great, we tried Indonesian food for the first time here, all halal and delicious 🤤 The pool was well kept, pretty and good for a swim or chill. My luggage was delayed and staff were kind and helpful to help me get updates as I could not make call to Indonesian number. The location is very close to Sanur beach and markets.

We had a very nice stay. They welcomed us with fresh flowers and drinks . Room was clean and luxurious. Private pool was perfect. Breakfast was very tasty, wide range of fresh fruits, juices, coffee and local cuisine. It is close to the beach and they even have free sunbeds there.

1) the staff is friendly and helpful 2) the beach is few min away with a private area for the hotel guests 3) the double rooms are spacious and comfortable 4) the breakfast is diverse and tasty 5) the pool was nice and clean 6) the second night we have noisy and loud UK students, we needed to call reception at 11 pm and then again at 3.30 am.. reception took fast action on this matter. Next day it was posible to change the room and we had the perfect last nigh at the hotel.

Fantastic stay, our villa was beautiful with a great pool and jacuzzi. The staff were wonderful, very accommodating, friendly and couldn’t do enough to make us comfortable. Breakfast was great and the daily cleaning was very thorough.

Great size of the villa with a nice green peaceful area around which also included a good size of the pool , with the outdoor Jacuzzi... as a family we really enjoyed the time at the villa. The staff was nice too

Lush well planned gardens, big clean pool plus separate jacuzzi in the sun all day. Fabulous breakfast choices, cooked by the staff in our villa and served in the villa, made us feel very special. Clean comfy beds, modern decor with everything you need for a perfect stay. Super helpful staff, they booked restaurants and taxis for us in the evenings and any request was dealt with swiftly and courteously. Couldn't fault The Zen Villas, we had a memorable 5 night stay and we absolutely loved it, could have stayed much longer and never have tired of the place! They even did a Mozzie "Fogging" in the garden to control the Mosquito's and we weren't bitten once our whole stay! 5 stars for The Zen Villas!

We were a mixed family and travelling with elderly people with mobility issues. We had stayed in several villas over a few weeks and Zen Villa was our favourite in regards to the service and accomodation. It is a little older and not so modern but they were very well equipped and had considered a lot in regards to what their customers might need. The kitchen facilities were terrific, comfortable beds, pool lovely and clean and our villa had a jacuzzi which was a great feature. We got food by grab and they cooked a delicious breakfast in the room. Comfortable large lounge room and good dining seating outside. The staff were very helpful and great to have security at the front.

The included breakfast at Zen was a highlight. Cooked by the wonderfully friendly staff in our Villa kitchen and served to us outside by the pool was a daily highlight. It was delicious and as we labelled it, “excellent portion control” as there wasn’t any buffet to go back to to spoil the perfectly filling portion you’d been given. The pool/spa was perfect (spa is not heated). We wanted privacy and the ability to use the pool at any hour and talk, which at a hotel you generally don’t get. Air conditioning was perfect. In both bedrooms and main living area. Sarongs for each of us was unexpected and very useful, comfortable, an added bonus we utilised. One bedroom had an outdoor shower and spa bath. The initial thought of showering and using a bathroom that is partially open to the elements is a bit of a shock but it was just fine, although the shower head could do with a soak in some calcium/lime remover. The location was good. A $3.50 AUD taxi ride to the main Sanur strip was good, the walk is fine but not for everyone. Staff were exceptional. Bend over backwards for you. It is gated so we always felt safe.

Was not able to fill up the jacuzzi because the release of the water was broken and not holding the water inside the jacuzzi. The rest was perfect.

Great location and plenty of great facilities with very helpful and friendly staff. We had a very spacious suite. Our friends have rooms with jacuzzi which are also very spacious.

The service and friendly staff are so capable and friendly. The hotel is built around this big pool. You can even have your own little pool if you book downstairs. We had a room on the 3rd floor with a jacuzzi. The breakfast choice is more than complete and of good quality

The amenities were good, staff was great. The highlight was the breakfast, had so many options it was totally worth it. We had the King spa room which was really nice which includes a jacuzzi on the balcony the view wasn't much but not a deal breaker.

The Maya is a very special place to visit. We stayed in a Lagoon Pool Suite which was just fabulous. Our room was private and the pool access was great. The main pool and restaurant area was also fabulous. We ate at all the restaurants and every meal was perfect. We had both the buffet and ala carte breakfast and both were great. We had dinner there too and the food and service was top notch. The location was also convenient - we used the walkway along the beach to shop at a couple of markets and the road at the front of the resort had some good shopping too. All staff were so friendly and helpful and my daughter and I are looking forward to coming back very soon. Would recommend this resort if you prefer to be in a Balinese style resort in a quiet location and right on the beach.

The location of the property was brilliant, you are in the middle of the main street so great accessibility to all of the restaurants, and the hotel backs straight on to the beach so perfect for those mid day walks. The restaurants all served a variety of delicious foods, the buffet style breakfast was great as you have the option to have certain foods cooked fresh for you and again the selection was fantastic you would never get bored and always find something to eat. The staff were amazing so friendly and welcoming. If you ever needed anything they would be there to help and resolve it quickly! Would definitely stay here again!

A Perfect Stay at Maya Sanur Bali – Can’t Wait to Return! I stayed at Maya Sanur during the King’s Birthday weekend, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless and welcoming. I booked a Lagoon Access Room and absolutely loved it—stepping right into the water from my room felt like a dream. The staff were exceptional—kind, attentive, and always happy to help. Their warmth and hospitality made the stay even more special. I dined at both Ruu and Kuu, and each meal was fantastic—delicious food, beautifully presented, with an atmosphere that’s both elegant and relaxed. And of course, drinks at the Tree Bar with snacks on the beach? The perfect way to spend a sunset in Bali. It really doesn’t get better. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll be booking the Lagoon Room again—highly recommend it if you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape in Sanur.

An absolutely exceptional place!! Ideal location on the beach and right next to all the amenities. Cafes, bars and entertainment, shopping, massages, and more! Staff were so friendly and happy, we were always met with a smile and greeting and I loved the personalised service. One morning we left early to head out for the day and therefore missed buffet breakfast and the staff spoke to us the next day. They had remembered about our plans and were keen to hear about it our day. That is superb customer service. Afternoon tea offered at 4-5pm daily was lovely. On site security . Rooms were large and spacious with fresh fruit daily and turn down service. They were always clean, with beautiful views from every room. It was just such a lovely place to stay. I can’t speak more highly of it. The only down side was that we couldn’t stay longer. We will 100% be returning to Maya Sanur.

Maya Perfection! Nothing to fault with this incredible place. The beach location is perfect, staff are friendly and attentive, rooms are modern and of a high standard, grounds are perfectly maintained, oh and that lagoon pool was so dreamy! My wife and I arrived on our wedding anniversary so they upgraded our room to a lagoon suite and left us some sweet treats in our room which was a thoughtful touch. Happy hour at the tree house bar was a great way to spend the afternoon and the buffet breakfast was an incredible spread. There’s no doubt we will be staying at the Maya again!

We stayed in the suites and they were large spacious and well equipped. We had an outdoor hottub that our teenage son loved. The beds were comfy, breakfast was amazing and the pool area was well kept and pretty. The location was also perfect with a short walk to the promenade of restaurants

The rooms are huge and amazing, love the jacuzzi which is really like a tiny pool, the bed and pillows are comfortable, 4 bottles of water each day were very much appreciated, breakfast is awesome. Air con is good.

We loved our room, the jacuzzi did not have a plug that fitted, we asked for another but the second one didn’t fit either, very disappointing, but the room was amazing. Very spacious and modern

The hotel is deceiving but in a good way, it is a large property with 2 pools plus a jacuzzi pool bar, a Pickleball court, yoga in the wellness hub. Walking through the resort I had the white lotus theme song in my head from the landscape and garden surrounds.

Absolutely loved the garden setting. The jacuzzi pool with bar was wonderful. Excellent service and beautiful dining area.

Fantastic resort and location. The resort itself has everything you could need and more, three swimming pools with a jacuzzi and swim up bar in one. A kids play area and splash pool with slide which our 3-year old absolutely loved. There was a really nice restaurant with several different seating areas including an area right on the beachfront with various seating options. Loved the patisserie which had an amazing selection of cakes and pastries. Breakfast buffet was really good and substantial. Location was great, leading right out onto the beach path with lots of restaurants, shopping and Icon mall close by.

We arrived at night and were blown away by the beautiful lighting of the grounds! It was magical. Our room was clean and spacious with everything we needed. The delivery of night time biscuits and friendly hello by staff was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and the service at breakfast was excellent with more food than you could want. The best restaurant was just gorgeous with excellent food and drinks menu including a fresh bar b q- a visit to the patisserie is a must! The beach had very comfy beds and great beach bar. You can also have dinner here. Conveniently located for the icon shopping mall, and any number of bars and earrings. Close to the turtle release where you can be given a turtle to let go into the sea on any day. All accessible via the flat beachfront footpath! A note of caution-the sales ladies at the markets are tenacious!

We stayed at the hotel 8 nights, and were upgraded to a bungalow, which was very appreciated (despite my first reaction that the terrace belonging to the bungalow was downstairs, outside of the room, wouldn’t be usable). The gardens are nice and well kept and we were happy with the service (I had some issues when we checked in, and they were fixed instantly). The hotel restaurant is stylish and the restaurant/beach bar area looks quite impressive at night. We did’t find the music loud at any times, but pleasant and bringing a modern vibe to the hotel. There are good level beach restaurants nearby towards the Icon Bali mall, which itself surprised us with a good selection of shops, an Arcade, which impressed my 12-year-old, and some shows they organize. The restaurants we especially liked were Soul on the beach and Moreno, where we often ordered cocktails during the happy hour after swimming at their beach (where the water is deeper and cleaner than on the beach in front of the hotel). If you need a driver for a half-day/day tour to Ubud or other places, I recommend to turn to the reception. We were very pleased with the experience and the price level (wich saved us the need to go through price negotiations with taxi drivers). All in all it was a great experience in Sanur, and I can warmly recommend this hotel.

We loved our villa, it was perfect, tranquil and so peaceful. What a private oasis. Cant say enough great things about Villa Kampung Kecil. From our arrival, we were welcomed so hospitably and our stay was perfectly managed. The pool was an exceptional highlight, we had it basically all to ourselves and it was so beautiful with all the plants around it. We had room service breakfast one of the days and that was also exceptional. Delivered promptly and it was delicious. The staff at the villa were all so friendly and helpful to us. They went above and beyond, to provide shuttle services and booking anything with reception was so easy. We felt incredibly spoiled by the care and attention given to all the guest and are so grateful for all the help provided.

We liked everything from the very first moment we arrived! The 2dbr villa is above e pectations. Clean and spacious, fully equiped kitchen, perfect beds and lots of artefacts to look at. Even ponds with fish just behind the panoramic windows! Outdoor table is under fans, so we enjoied breakfast with nice garden views. The garden with pool is very cozy, we enjoied it even when it was a bit rainy day. The staff is very helpfull and nice, they provided with moscuitos burnings, drinking water. Breakfast with good choice and served in room very nicely. We tried inroom massage and it was very relaxing. We are 100% happy to choose Kampung Kecil for our family New Year celebration.

The hotel was very spacious, clean and with beautiful decorations. The pool was very clean and big. I made sure spending half of each day relaxing at the hotel. The breakfast was very tasty with local food. Staffs were super friendly and helpful.

We loved everything about this place. It has been the best stay we had in Bali over 3 week vacation. Yes, it is not at the beach, but it is not too far off with a scooter. Staff was very kind, welcoming, polite, available, attentive and caring. Space you get is amazing, at least it was for our villa. Pool was long enought ta have some swim. Multiple rest areas. Close area which is quiet and green. WiFi was good. Breakfast was OK. We got a kitchen too, huge bathroom, separatr bedroom in the house. Air conditioning worked well. Multiple options to be happy inside and outside the villa. Simple tules and just great place to be and rest. Price is on a higher side, but surely adequate for what you get. There was a lot of local art in the villa, making it cultural experience too. Highly recommend and wish to return in the future. Finally, Sanur itself was a discovery too. Thanks to our local friend who recommended. Kuta and Seminyak were just too busy and loud for us. In Sanur you will meet much more locals and different vibe.

The room was absolutely fabulous. We were upgraded as the room we booked wasnt available so we had a villa with two bed and two bathroom. It was spotless and comfortable. The pool was lovely and the breakfast was also very nice quality. I learned so much about Balinese tradition reading the complementary book they had in the room, by the pool. The breakfast box wasnt the best and not coffee but my own fault for not requesting. We organised a massage to the hotel with an external company before we arrived because the booking.com said there was no spa on site. When we arrived we received a massage menu so we felt bad but they were kind enough to let our booking attend. If we had known we would have booked with Kecil as the prices were reasonable.

Situated in a quiet area on the beachfront. Beautiful views of well maintained gardens, superb pool area and the sea. Main dining area well set out, very clean, staff always well presented and very helpful. Choice of food for breakfast excellent, can’t fault anything. Good choice for lunch and evening meal, drinks a bit expensive as in most hotels. Room a good size, bed comfortable, linen and towels clean and changed every 2 days (more if requested). Decent sized balcony with chairs and small table overlooking the beach. Small fridge (empty) small bottles of water supplied free, replenished daily - often had to request more. Kettle, coffee and tea sachets supplied and small carton of milk. A couple of biscuits would have been nice. Room clean and toiletries supplied. Cafes, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Some building work going on nearby but not an issue. Hotel has a kids club, gym and organises some activities. Enjoyed our stay, would certainly recommend this hotel to others and consider returning there in future.

My family and I quite enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The breakfast was especially delicious, and the quality of the coffee served during breakfast was above average compared to other hotels we've stayed at. The room was also very clean and pleasant. The in-room coffee was decent as well—I was impressed with the selection of tea and coffee provided. However, I did have an unpleasant experience with the bicycle rental section. One of your female staff members did not treat local guests as well as she did foreign tourists, which was disappointing. That said, all the other staff were very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was very enjoyable, and the afternoon snacks at the beach bar were quite tasty too. Overall, everything was excellent, and I would definitely come back if I visit Bali again.

A Wonderful Stay at Bali Beach Hotel My daughter and I stayed at Bali Beach Hotel for five nights just before Christmas, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely lovely. Our room was stunning—spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with every comfort you could imagine. The hotel staff were exceptional—attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure our stay was perfect. Every detail, from the room service to the dining experiences in the restaurant, exceeded our expectations. We made the most of the hotel’s amenities, enjoying the gorgeous pool, the well-equipped gym, and even taking advantage of the bikes available for guests. Every morning, our room was cleaned impeccably, with all essentials topped up. It was such a treat to return to a refreshed space each day. Unfortunately, I became unwell during our stay. The reception staff were incredibly caring, arranging for a doctor to visit my room promptly. To my surprise, they even sent up a complimentary fruit platter and a fresh coconut, which was such a thoughtful and kind gesture. Despite not feeling my best for part of the trip, I felt so well looked after that I was still able to relax and enjoy the serene atmosphere of the hotel. The staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. This was a holiday to remember, and I would not hesitate to return. After 30 years visiting and working in Bali and hundreds of hotels. Including 4 seasons, ritzes, mulias, Kempinskies from nusa dua to Seminyak and Ubud we have found holiday heaven in Sanur. We stayed at the Meru last year and this year it’s the mid century modern beauty of the Bali Beach Hotel. It was great last year but superlative this year. There are now 3 restaurant to choose from all excellent but Roso served up a 22 course degustation menu that blew us away. This was graciously included in the wonderful package that LUXURY ESCAPES had on offer which included a wonderful breakfast with perfect coffee every day, cocktails and dinner, plus a 60 minute massage by Manik that was one of the best I’ve ever had in a gorgeous newly opened free standing wellness centre. We love the location you can do your 10,000 steps in both directions and the beach from outside the hotel is the best maintained in sanur. Plenty of local shops, the great iconic mall is 15 minutes walk away if you need brands. All the doggos are healthy and you don’t hear a motorbike. The staff are what makes this special and whoever is doing the training should take a bow. It’s gracious, joyful, and it will brighten your day. Stayed for a couple of nights with my family. Fantastic Beach Hotel. The Pool is great, with plenty of seat options, a good bar, attentive staff and a large area to swim in - you never feel crowded. Breakfast had a great choice of food and table service for tea and coffee, Rooms were comfortable and clean with a jaw dropping view of the sea. Kids Club is the real hidden gem of this place - very friendly and inviting with plenty of activities - arts and crafts and all indoors to keep the little ones out of the heat. You can also rent bikes too which is handy as just alongside the hotel is the Sanur Esplanade walk. Location wise - its about 15 mins walk along the waterfront to the new Icon Bali mall and there are plenty of restaurant and bar choices close by.

There’s a lot to like about this place, spacious, lots of places it sit outside, jacuzzi, 2 outside showers, loved the kitchen, full size fridge, the bed was comfortable, even had a top sheet!! great water flow & plenty of hot water, I could go on!

Can’t say enough about this property. It’s luxurious and the personal pool and jacuzzi are incredible. The staff is very helpful and remembers your name. It’s centrally located with a 3 min walk to restaurants and shops. But you really don’t want to leave the bungalow once you’re in it. Awesome place.

We had a beautiful stay here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent, about 3 mins to cafes and restaurants, and less than 10 mins to the beach. The villa itself was really lovely, very clean and spacious. Would definitely stay here again.

Tony met us on our arrival and was brilliant. Helped us out with the geography around Sanur. Shops, restaurants bars and liquor stores. All within a 5-10 minute stroll. The villa itself is a little 'tired' but was clean and tidy. The kitchen is well appointed with pots and pans plates etc.. We spent 8 nights and would highly recommend staying. Location is brilliant. 5 minute stroll the the beach and shops and restaurants. Quiet location except that the neighbourhood dogs are quite 'vocal' All in all a very nice stay.

The property is excellent for families! Walking distance to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants to choose from! We loved having our own space with our own pool and spa bath. The villa gets cleaned and towels changed every day and the laundry service they provide is excellent! Kristna organises airport transfers at a reasonable rate and she is always on hand to answer any questions or assist with any request! The staff are amazing. They are very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at The Gangsa for 4 nights recently From the moment we walked in this place really WOW'd us! The check in was so efficient and we had a butler take us through our room and all the services. We couldn't believe how many complimentary services there were! Free cookies everyday, free mini bar, free WiFi, free transport to the Sanur area, free 15 min welcome massage, free afternoon high tea! It was amazing! The room was beautiful, lovely cold air con in the bedroom and then a traditional open living area The only downside was that there were many more mozzies here than in Seminyak, the staff 'fogged' the villa twice while we were there which helped but you need to be vigilant with a good quality repellent and the mozzie coils. All the food (we had in room dining, breakfast and high tea) was awesome! Always fresh and hot with great flavour. We didn't eat in the restaurant as we ate in our room but it got great reviews on trip advisor. At the beach they have an area set aside for guests with really comfy sun beds and umbrellas which was great. Lastly, the spa - what an experience! We had a free welcome massage and immediately rebooked for a couples spa package the next day. We haven't really done a fancy spa before so didn't know what to expect but this blew us away! We would love to return here on our next trip to Bali!! The staff were so friendly and helpful , always going out of their way to do anything to make your stay better.

From the moment we walked into Kayumanis Sanur Private Villa & Spa, we knew that it was going to be a wonderful stay. We were greeted warmly by the receptionist and made us feel comfortable during check-in. We stayed in the 2 bedroom with studio villa. They told us about our villa's name, the amenities, and how to contact them if ever we needed something. We've never stayed in a villa before and this property didn't disappoint. The villa was spacious, more than enough for a family of 4. The swimming pool was a bonus. The master bedroom was very comfortable and inviting and the kids had their own beds. The upstairs studio was a wonderful place if you needed some solitude or if you needed to have some peace and quiet. They provided us with citronella spray to ward off mosquitoes and they always stocked the mini-fridge with drinks. The daily breakfast was awesome. There were plenty of options to choose from. I made sure to eat the Indonesian and Balinese breakfast which made me full and ready to go for the day. They also give you a free 15 minute massage as a welcome gift, although we did get this on our last day. :). This property also offers transport within Sanur from 9-5 PM which is a nice perk. Overall, this property was stellar and top notch. The customer service was great and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a piece of paradise in Bali.

This place is a secluded gem surrounded by old town. It exceeded my expectation by providing an amazing service. The staff were very attentive to our needs and provided quick and flexible service. The villa was clean and beautiful and daily service meant we had clean fresh place to come back to after a long day out. The breakfast and afternoon tea was another level. Pleasing not only the eye but the stomach as well. The best part was the private pool which I took advantage of on a daily basis.

Privacy in a large 400m2 green walled garden villa with pool. Quiet. The twice daily room clean conducted whilst you were dining was above and beyond many very expensive properties we have stayed in. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Restaurant was good with an Indonesian menu. This property is away from the beach area and restaurants but they do provide transport free of charge to get you there and back. For a restful experience we highly recommend it.

WOW, is how I will start this. We used this property for our last night in Bali since it was close to the airport. WOW, for the staff they are truly amazing. WOW, for the resort it is quiet and very nice. WOW, for the upgraded Villa they gave us for our final stay in Bali. If you can get a villa here we would highly recommend they are truly amazing. The staff was amazing everywhere you went. From beginning to the end they were amazing. Food is amazing also, the executive chefs sourdough bread is a must during breakfast you will not regret it. We tried it because the executive chef came out and introduced himself and told us the story about the starts that have been in his family for 3 generations and WOW was it amazing. During our stay there was one staff member that stood out above all the rest and he was out standing. The buggy driver Ade who was also our driver to the airport was truly amazing. Made our one night at this resort truly enjoyable and memorable. Thank you Ade… if you are thinking of a stay here, book it you won’t regret it and if you meet Ade say hello from us he is truly the best.

We were greeted straight away and guided to the temporary air conditioned reception area and given a delicious cold coconut mint water. Our room was spacious, clean and beautifully air conditioned. The breakfast was one of our favorite parts of the day! So much variety and all so beautifully presented and prepared. Our room was serviced every day and all the hotel grounds are looked after and cared for. The pool side was an excellent way to relax in the afternoon, with great service. The staff were attentive and friendly, always greeting us where ever we went. Only downside was the water being switched off one night, due to maintenance and not turning back on till after 6am when it supposed to go back on at 4am (so no flushing toilet or shower. We were up at 4am every morning due to the time change). A tropical fruit platter was presented as an apology, which was lovely. Other downside was hammers and building noises banging and clanging all hours of the day due to the new reception being renovated. Wasn't a problem when we were away doing activities most of the day but when sitting on our balcony in the afternoon, it was quite loud. Despite this we would happily stay again as the building noises stopped at night and sleeping was very peaceful. P.S the beds are sooo comfortable, so much better than we expected, slept like a baby every night.

When I asked my kids what was important for the holiday they said two things: breakfast buffet and pool! The Intercontinental Sanur did not disappoint. Breakfast was amazing - lots of variety, super fresh produce, high quality a la carte and buffet options and good coffee - and the staff incredibly welcoming. In particular, a team member, Yoga, remembered the kids' names and was extremely attentive and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The pool was huge and clean.

The intercontinental staff were exceptional! Very friendly and accommodating. Our one bedroom ocean view apartment was modern and extremely clean. Perfect for our little one who was still crawling around. The beautiful breakfast at the new restaurant was definitely a highlight of our day. Pier Eight also served great cocktails at happy hour. Thank you Intercontinental staff for making our family holiday such a memorable experience.

Amazing hotel. From the time I arrived to the moment I left, I was treated well by genuinely friendly and helpful staff. Many learned and greeted me by my name after only one day. The butlers, Rusty and Angus, checked to make sure I had everything I needed, such as confirming what time I wanted my return airport transfer. The facilities are also excellent. My garden view room was large and tastefully decorated. The bed was massive and comfortable. The bathroom’s dimmable lighting was great. I did not spend time in their living room/patio, but it over-looked well-manicured gardens. The spa was wonderful. My massage here with Remi was perhaps the best I ever had. I prefer strong pressure and she delivered. My body is typically very tense, but when I left, I was the most relaxed as I could ever remember. I spent much time at the large pool, where attendants brought water and complimentary cut fruit to me as I lounged poolside. The food was good too. I ate at their breakfast buffet twice. Included with the buffet are items you may order a la carte. There’s also a made to order egg station. I had extended breakfasts and would finish off my meals just sipping lattes taking in the sounds of the koi pond fountains, while gazing over the gardens. I highly recommend the Fairmont Sanur Beach.

We had one Deluxe room which was right by the pool - this was amazing! Clean, spacious and newly renovated. We had another superior room which was a ground floor room at the back. The room itself was great - clean and spacious, however, it had the most dreadful moldy/damp smell. Could not fault the location, quick walk to the beach, and many shops and restaurants. Pool was beautiful, very friendly staff who went out of their way to help, amazing buffet breakfast at the hotel across the road.

A perfect choice for my first visit to Bali. Great location and short walk to the beach with plenty of shops & restaurants close by. The staff were friendly & helpful, the bed very comfortable, the room spacious with a fridge, tea/ coffee facilities & good wifi. The gardens & pool very relaxing and enjoyable.

After having a week in a big resort in Nusa Dua we wanted something more traditional . You arrive at what seems a normal hotel but find a small unique quiet hotel with traditional grounds . We had a spacious ground floor bureau type room with a balcony , overlooking the temple . Not all rooms overlook the pool , but was literally at the back of our room . Not a big pool but never crowed with only 30 rooms in the hotel .Lovely for a cool off after a busy morning exploring . A large bathroom with a seperate bath from shower area The staff were attentive to any needs and super helpful dealing with drivers etc .we liked that there was no restaurant or bar as you only had to walk out the door and be in a busy street with western and local food ,drink and shopping options . A very short walk down the lane leading to Sanur beach and and many more options available

We were very happy with our accommodation, recommend the Deluxe rooms over the standard rooms on the second floor as there is no lift. The staff are AMAZING. The manager,( Alex ) was so helpful, he went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. The pool is lovely, clean and perfect temperature. Rooms are serviced and super clean. Deluxe rooms have a good sized fridge nice bathrooms and for us,quite comfortable beds. Position is very handy to everything, shops, restaurants, beach. A lot quieter than Kuta, Legian etc. A. T. M. a short walk away. Watch some of the money changers, one tried to short change us of one hundred Australian dollars per person. Thank you to Alex and all your staff, made our stay at Puri Gopa Hotel a very enjoyable one. I would happily recommend it to anyone, value for money.

The room was way more spacious than I expected and the view was STUNNING! I was looking straight out to the garden and temple area, I swear I spent half my trip just sitting on the balcony, drinking tea, feeling immense peace and staring out at the view! The pool was also beautiful and so relaxing, lots of morning sun so just be careful not to burn like me lol. Shower had hot water which was great to feel extra clean. Location was close to everything I needed - good shopping, cheap massages, great food options. Staff were SO kind and exhibited true Bali hospitality. Everyone was so nice and they helped with any extra questions for travel or booking taxis, etc. Also the breakfast across the street had an unbelievable selection and was definitely worth the money! Would stay here again in an instant if I'm ever in Sanur again.

This is a small courtyard of rooms, 200 m from the Sindhu Mertha Guest House. Each room is self contained and comfortable (beds a little hard but that's normal everywhere here). Air con was good and effective. Had a safe, and an outside/inside bathroom which was just perfect. The pool is lovely and wonderful in hot weather. So long as you are quiet they seem happy for it to be used at any time, and we often joined other guests late at night when returning home hot from an evening out. The main beach is about a mile away, but a private beach is very close (a few hundred yards) and is very inexpensive. While communication can be tricky and breakfasts are not always perfect by western standards, I could never criticise the willingness of staff to do everything they can for you. Staff are massively helpful, friendly, and I would go back in a heartbeat. A beautiful spot in a lovely country.

I booked this wonderful place through AirBnB. I loved the location as I was traveling to Nusa Lembongan the next day. When I arrived the front desk staff was so welcoming. He showed me to my room and all the rooms are around a beautiful garden and peaceful pool. I had everything I needed and felt comfortable. I was able to step outside and walk down the street. Many restaurants to choose from, and convenient stores. I really enjoyed my stay and I ended up coming back to stay at the same place after I visited the islands. Loved my experience, peaceful sleep and able to walk and explore the area. Thank you for this amazing experience.

This is such a lovely place to stay. The setting is serene and quiet and the pool is beautiful - clean and cool. The suites are stylish and clean and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast, while simple, is delicious and you can also order room service through the property which comes from a. The stand out here is the staff and how caring they are about their guests. I will definitely be back to stay at this wonderful place. Thank you Sindhu Mertha Suite for such an enjoyable stay.

Nice place to stay. For 15 € per person, you get a clean, spacious room just two steps from the pool, with a TV, safe, mini-refrigerator,air condition, semi-open bathroom and a breakfast served in front of your room next to the pool. There is not much privacy like in some separate villas, but on the other hand it is a good opportunity to get to know some new interesting people. The only negative thing is the condition of their kitchen, which needs renovation. Arriving late at night into Bali, where we had never been before, we had the hotels driver come and pick us up and deliver us to the hotel. The hotel is about a 15min walk or just 5 min drive (taxi is not expensive, about 2 euros per ride) to the beach. If you decide to walk to the beach there are plenty or local eateries/warungs on the way if you want the authentic culinary experience. The staffs, especially Made, was really polite, kind, helpful, and sensitive to guest's needs. I definitely will stay in this property again. This kind of service was outstanding that you don't usually get in starred hotel. Bali is all about adventure, and one of the possibilities is to hire a driver for a full day sightseeing of different locations. Made, our host, has recommended us Sentya Hartadi. He charges around RP 550000 for an 8-hour day and will arrange trips to suit your interests. Reliable, correct and careful we were very satisfied.

Out stay was good, for this price it was even excellent. Nice room, pool and open shower in the room. The bed mattress was comfortable. We had a problem with small ants in our room but it wasn’t such a big deal for us. Everyday someone came to our room to do the bed- that was really nice. The service is great and the stuff helpful. Keep in mind that the offer with breakfast is not with a breakfast Buffet. The staff member offered us to do scrambled egg next morning when I mentioned that we should have a breakfast- we never tried this option. In the area, 3 min walking distance away is a nice place to have lunch so that wasn’t also a big deal for us.

I strongly recommend this Villa: it is an incredibly good choice. Its perfect position (5 minutes walking from the beach, totally out of the crazy traffic of Bali), its small but comfortable private pool, the well equipped kitchen, the perfect overall cleanliness make of this place the perfect stay if you are looking an accomodation in Sanur. The Villa has 2 double separate bedrooms making it perfect for friends group or families with adolescent sons. But the very plus I want to enlighten is the great work of the managers Genter and Sobi: they are amazing, always available, fast responding and absolutely helpful. I can say their work and their efforts are something special.

The location is great - walking distance from the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. The house is lovely, the beds are comfortable and our host, Shobie, was fantastic and super helpful. She came to clean the house every day, which is really great.

Swimming Pool was very good, Kitchen was well equipped, very comfortable, close to everything and wonderful Food. A great Beach with Restaurants close by. Very clean and tidy.

Really friendly staff and accommodating special requests such as a floating breakfast. Daily cleaning available and the staff were easily contactable, very quick to respond and extremely helpful.
