The hotel is clean, cozy, warm, the staff is polite. There is a place to park, the room is warm, it is not very big, but it is not small either, there are two saunas, a swimming pool with jacuzzi. For the money, it's great and deserves it. Thanks

The hotel is recently renovated and with suitable facilities for disabled people. The pool is a little overcrowded, yet it was clean and the atmosphere was fine. I did not visit the remaining Spa utilities and I do not have personal experience. Breakfast was rich and tasty. Staff was friendly and cooperative. The hotel is situated in a central, yet, quiet area, close to the historical sites and the famous art gallery. A visit of St. George Church dating from the 11th century is a must.

Great SPA facilities, a bit small for the size of the hotel. Breakfast was absolutely great, buffet dinner had great salad bar. Warm building and rooms. Comfy beds, all very clean. Very pleasant activities - drawing while having a glass of wine. Classical massage I enjoyed very much.

A great, clean and nice hotel! Really clean! The breakfast was amazing, the dinner as well. The pool is good, but due to the fact that they let external people it was overcrowded, so would not go again over the weekend. I d definitely go back with my kids

3 days stay in the end of Oct. It was very clean. Not too crowdy. Nifty and compact but still you have everything you need for a pleasant family vacation-two restaurants combining Bulgarian and international cuisine. Very quiet room. The staff were really kind. We had 2 sinks in the bathroom which is very helpful for a family with kids. There’s a kids playground right outside. Also inside the hotel -with a person to watch over the kids while you can enjoy calmly a drink with your spouse. Inner and outer swiming pools with hot water. Pools were clean. Outside there are ~7 beds you can relax if you want. I didnt had the chance to check the sauna / massage/steam baths and the rest of the spa area as i was with kids. There are 4 outdoor jacuzzi type mineral pools with 4 different water mineralisation levels, which are quite nice to sit and enjoy the cold weather outside. Also with hi healthcare effect on the human body. The temperature in one of them can really test your ability to withstand heat. Love it for a short heat-up Parking spaces outside.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure I had everything I needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. I also really appreciated the convenient location — close to everything but still peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Perhaps to add a kettle in the rooms to make tea or coffee but really no big deal as there was a kitchen and dining areas if someone needed to cook.

Liked the place and owners. It was more than a warm welcome and everything was fine with our rooms.

The location of the hotel is very good, in the heart of Borovets but at the same time around the forest. Clean fresh air. Good furniture - classic style. Jacuzzi in the room. Hotel upgraded our room with the apartment without additional payment. Swimming pool is nice.

We got upgraded to a large 'spa apartment' with a Jacuzzi bath and 2 fold-away beds. Plenty of hot water, fruit and wine provided on arrival. Breakfast provided good choice - pancakes, yoghurts, fresh fruit, cold meats/cheeses, hot food (sausages, eggs etc). Location to one of the ski lifts - 50m away.

We stayed off season, there were almost no other guests, so we probably didn't get the right impression - but on the other hand the price would have been too high. We enjoyed the comfort of the room (we were given a larger room than we payed), especially the bathroom with the jacuzzi was fun. The view and the hotel surroundings are very pleasant. The food was excellent in comparison to other places we visited in and around Borovets.

We had a great time in Borovets. On arriving at Sofia airport we had arranged a transfer in advance through booking.com. Our driver was waiting for us on arrival with a clear sign. We were welcomed to the Festa Winter Palace Hotel by Petar on reception. He was very friendly, helpful and informative and answered any questions we had throughout the stay. We had booked a junior suite, which was spacious and clean. We booked ski equipment through the Hero ski shop in the hotel. The boots and ski were great quality and condition. Rumen who worked in the ski shop was always so helpful ensuring at the start of the holiday we had equipment that was the right size. We returned the ski equipment every night to the drying rack and he greeted us each morning and knew exactly which ski equipment belonged to us. Great breakfast with a large variety of items. The spa was amazing and just what we needed after a long day skiing. The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the slopes, bars and restaurants. We can’t wait to return to Borovets and return to the Festa Winter Palace Hotel. Thanks for a great first skiing trip :)

We stayed in a maisonette as a family of four - this offered excellent accommodation with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The hotel was clean and comfortable if rather dated, but the location was fantastic - walkable to all slopes and all restaurants etc. The hotel was quiet and breakfast was good. The pool was also fantastic!

The communication with host over the phone was very efficient and the check in went flawlessly, as a result. The rest of the parameters were good, but not perfect. For example, the property is located on a quite street, but the noise from the neighbors was disturbing almost the entire night. The location is very good, if you have a car, but is somewhat problematic, when using a public transportation. The room and the bathroom are rather clean, but not perfect. In general, the hotel adequately represents it's prise.

Apartment is big and comfortable. Includes everything you need. There is a lot of space. It is very clean, and hosts are great. We will come back again .

We liked bathtube that was in apartment. Room was big and comfy with everything that's needed. Bed was comfy and well arranged 😊. City center is a bit far, but there are bus and metro lines nearly 😊👍🏼

Location was very convenient for my stay and the host was a great.

We booked an apartment with 2 bedrooms including a living room. We got a room with 2 large balconies. There is hot water, big beds, a quiet place, parking, drying facilities. Excellent spa area: includes a pool with hot water and 2 types of sauna. There is also a jacuzzi for a fee.

Location is perfect. Very clean and well appointed. The host is welcoming and professional and ensured our stay albeit short has been to our satisfaction. Breakfast in the outdoor restaurant was also very good. Great value for the money! Will visit again next time we’re in Velingrad.

Zarevata Guest House is an awesome place for a relaxing stay! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. All the facilities are available and kept in perfect working condition. During our stay we used all the SPA facilities and were more than happy with the duration and the ease of use. The rooms we booked were fully-equipped and extra clean. The owner makes sure you get the warmest welcome and makes sure every corner of the guest house is cleaned daily. Very high attention to detail! The bar is well-stocked and has quite reasonable prices. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our stay at the Zarevata Guest House! Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

The hotel was nice and cosy. Its location was between the city's center and the park Kleptuza so you can go everywhere by 5-10 minutes walk. The spa and wellness facilities were clean and very nice for resting. Also, there was a bar where you can buy drinks to have near the pool. The hotel staff was so nice and helpful!

Everything! The receptionist was very friendly and speaks English.The hotel looks Luxury. The room was modern, clean, tidy and comfortable. The room has nice balcony with chairs and a table with a view To the promenade, to the colorful fountain and to the statue. Hotel has free big parking . the breakfast was great: variety of food and drinks, tasty and good looking. hotel is located at the center of Montana.

New, contemporary and well maintained. Perfect for business travel - sockets at all the right places. Very comfortable bed. Didn't try any recreational facilities, so no idea how they are. Very decent staff. Lovely bathroom with enough space for your things. Parking functioned well, too. I think I will remember the hotel design / interior and the location over everything else. It was super nice to eat breakfast while looking out at the town square with the fountains and people passing by... Oh, and the breakfast coffee was OK :) Would definitely book again.

There are 29 floors, with a chic sky bar on the top floor and an array of restaurants and a spa area on the other floors. For the price I paid, this is the best value luxury hotel within Europe. The staff were incredibly attentive, polite and efficient. Not only the excellent reception staff, but those working in the Vienna restaurant and the Sky Bar were very friendly and exceptionally skilled in their work. The hotel was very clean and the room I stayed in was more like a luxury apartment than a hotel room. Lots of space to work and a massive TV and sizeable bathroom. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Great restaurants on site and a traditional Bulgarian taverna around the corner. Well connected to the airport and other parts of Central Sofia. For business and leisure 10/10. Outstanding!

What do you expect from a hotel and a stay? Perfect location, cleanliness, an incredibly spacious room with a breathtaking view of the whole city... Being right under the best casino in Bulgaria, a rooftop bar at the very top of Sofia with amazing cocktails, and a wonderful breakfast… This hotel has it all. It might be one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Thank you for everything!

We had a fantastic stay at Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia! The hotel is impeccably clean and well-maintained, with spacious rooms and an amazing view from the 18th floor. The staff were very polite and we truly appreciated the complimentary room upgrade and Spa access—a very sweet touch! The breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended as one of the best hotels in Sofia.

Great location, high end luxury and clean hotel!. Large room (we had the corner room on the 9th floor with nice view). Loved the choice of restaurants onsite , especially the Asian restaurant, which was great! Michael ftom the Asian restaurant was super helpful and accomodating (unlike other hotel employees). Grand cafe was also a nice place to grab something in a chill vibe. Overall we enjoed our stay and it is a nice and upscale hotel (though quite a bit more expensive). Some family members enjoyed the onsite casino (less my thing to do 😊)

The atmosphere at the hotel is quiet and relaxing. The breakfast is excellent and varied, the rooms are fairly large. The spa is excellent, a 30 degree heated pool, a sauna and a hammam which is actually a huge jacuzzi spring. The staff at the reception did not speak English, we somehow managed. A very satisfactory stop for a night in the area. The receptionist did not provide any explanation about the stay and the conduct at the hotel, we looked for the towels for the spa in the spa itself, it turns out they were hidden in a small bag that was placed in the room.

The hotel is an exceptional destination for a truly relaxing getaway. It boasts cozy, stylish, and immaculately clean rooms that offer ample space for guests to unwind. The restaurant is a culinary delight, serving a diverse and delicious breakfast that ranges from homemade bakery to refreshing soft drinks. Guests can also enjoy homemade yogurt and plenty of fruits, all contributing to a rich and varied dining experience. The SPA center provides a variety of treatments designed for ultimate relaxation. It is a haven for guests seeking tranquility and rejuvenation. The extremely friendly staff of the hotel were always ready to assist- from the reception, lobby bar, restaurant to the spa center, and even the courteous valets, every member of the team goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable stay. This hotel is a testament to the perfect blend of comfort, cuisine, exceptional customer service, and wellness facilities.

The hotel is very nice - both pools inside and outside are great 👌 , the water temperature is about 29C, which doesn't make them too hot. The garden is well maintained and the entire area. We had included breakfast, it was completely fine. We had lunch at the beach bar, which is very comfortable during your pool stay during the day, we ate pizza there. We had also dinner at the restaurant every night. After that, you can take a cocktail from the lobby bar, they are excellent, I tried Mojito and Maitai.

The spa was great. However, you do need to know that the outside pool is seasonal. While we were there, the children's pool outside was working, though. You get all that is necessary in the spa (three pools, one pool inside, one children's pool outside, a big pool outside, a Roman bath, a sauna, a salt room, a steam bath, warm sunbeds, plus massages and pedicures but at an extra cost. The rest of the spa is free to use.). The breakfast is also very good. It's a buffet breakfast and anyone can find something to their liking. The tea they serve at breakfast is especially tasty. The location is nice and quiet, however, there isn't much in the vicinity and if you want to go to a nearby town or city, you do have to go with a car. However, it's much cleaner than being in an actual city, because you can take a breath of fresh air. The lack of a city nearby was a positive experience for us. It is a great hotel and it has a great location if you want to relax and rejuvinate. If you are looking for something to explore, Tsari Mali Grad (a cultural historical complex) is nearby, in the village of Belchin, and it's interesting to see for newcomers.

Friendly and helpful staff (suitcase was brought to room). We got a room upgrade! We were welcomed with fresh lemonade and slices of cake. We ate delicious food in the evening in the outdoor poolside restaurant. Drinks in the bar not expensive by European standards. Breakfast is not a buffet, but sufficiently extensive and delicious (and you get a phenomenal view of Sofia with it). Ideal location for when you have to take the rental car to the airport the day after.

I can sincerely recommend this accommodation. The kindness of the staff was outstanding. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The whole hotel is clean and well-kept. The surroundings are charming, and the pool is clean. In the restaurant, the staff was also very kind, and the food was delicious. Parking is available right in front of the hotel building. From the restaurant on the top floor, where we had breakfast, the view is breathtaking!

Really nice stay during the week before easter, the hotel looks pretty new, all staff is amazingly kind, beds are large and comfortable and Spa it's nice as well, we only would have liked to have a jacuzzi with bubbles or a hot pool, but there are good saunas so it was great after all. We had a good dinner as well, so very happy with our stay!

Very clean, the staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast and dinner was fresh and delicious. The deluxe rooms are big with a shower and a bath which was perfect for our toddler! We stayed for 4 nights with our 1 and a half year old and it was a perfect peaceful mountain spa break!

A part from a little problem we had about our room upon arrival (which thankfully was resolved), our stay was an absolute dream. The room was big and so was the super comfortable bed. We were provided with all sort of gadgets which made our stay very enjoyable. We particularly liked the capsule coffee machine with free coffees, provided daily. The location is very quiet, in the middle of nature with absolutely stunning sunrises/sunsets. Also all the facilities were spot on, from the sauna to the outdoors heated swimming pool. Everywhere was clean and well looked after by friendly staff. And last but not least, the food was exceptional - always fresh and delicious and constantly replenished both on breakfast and dinner. One of the best place we've been in ages!

The hotel is very clean, and the SPA is nice. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the sun on the sunbeds outside. The location is perfect for anyone seeking a quiet getaway. We were extremely happy with the restaurant, SPA, and cleaning staff—they were all incredibly kind and made our stay wonderful. However, I feel the reception staff could be more attentive. Upon arrival, we were not given essential information, such as check-out times and breakfast hours. I also would have appreciated it if the staff had asked how our stay was when we checked out. Aside from the reception team, the rest of the staff were very warm and welcoming. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely return.

the location is within the city, close to a really nice restaurant and a supermarket. It is a quiet and nice area of the city. The breakfast was really good, diversified and tasty. Also the staff was really helpful and helped us with an extra bed since we were 2 adults and 2 children but the room only had one king size bed even though we specified from the begining how many we are.

The hotel's location is amazing, plenty of nearby facilities and shopping centers. The breakfast was a delicious and simple Bulgarian buffet breakfast, as this is a remote town expectations should be adjusted accordingly.

This is the second time in a row that we visited Lion Hotel in Borovets. The main reason is skiing but the other reason is the hotel! In this accommodation you’ll find everything you need. The breakfast buffet is really good and well thought out with many options. The spa is amazing, I especially enjoyed the outdoor sauna and the jacuzzi but mostly on the day that we took off from skiing because in the afternoon it gets really crowded inside and out. There’s a van that gets you to the ski lifts everyday which is an almost 3 min drive. We didn’t get the evening buffet but we loved the food in the restaurant that has quite reasonably prices and very polite and lovely stuff. The room was spacious!

We had a lovely weekend at the Hotel Lion in Borovets. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel offered an excellent value for the amenities provided. Our room was spacious and comfortable. All the spa facilities were excellent, and the meals in the restaurant were well prepared. Really, the restaurant is so convenient we felt no need to go up into the center of Borovets and were happy to have every meal at the hotel. The breakfast included with the room is also excellent with a very large selection to choose from. The Lobby Bar is also the perfect spot for an excellent afternoon coffee or drink. The location in the woods is also very peaceful. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are already planning a return visit!

For 3 adults, we booked a standard room, but we received a free upgrade to an extended room (spacious and well equipped). Very quiet area, in the forest, about 20-25 min walk to the gondola (in summer). Superb breakfast, buffet in WE and a-la-carte during the week (to choose from several options) when there are fewer guests. Varied a-la-carte menu for dinner, large and tasty dishes, fast service (but we were the only ones in the restaurant) The swimming pool and the fitness room were open, clean and free, but we didn't use them (we came back very tired from the mountain)

I booked the hotel for my wife's birthday. Believe me when I say I'm a very demanding customer when it comes to making my wife happy and surprised, so I did ask a lot from the Abrazo team, they went above and beyond what I ask for, any issues as little it was, was fixed professionally and rapidly, the breakfast buffet offers a very good selection the restaurant was very clean, and the coffee excellent, the reception staff was fantastic always a smile and very helpful when you need to go somewhere or needed informations. The room we had was a studio with a jacuzzi and balcony, very specious, comfortable bed, very clean, a lot of complementary toiletries and a very well priced mini bar. I also take the time to say thank you to the chambers maid for the folding towels on my wife's birthday. From the management to the staff, every one goes above and beyond to make your stay really exceptional, everyone cares about your wellness during your stay, professional and committed that the way I qualified the Abrazo team. The Abrazo is not a massive 4 Stars it's more intimate, more like a boutique hotel, ok it's not central 20 minutes to town center, but there is a fantastic public transport system and very cheap. If I ever go back to Sofia I know where to stay. Once again again thanks to all at the Abrazo for making our stay fantastic.

Stayed 3 nights and must say it's a true 4-star hotel in all aspects. The rooms are big, have everything in regards to a 4-star, wide range of breakfast options, in-room water, coffee, bar awesome TV with flight info, youtube, and what now. The bathroom is spacious and has everything needed. The staff is super polite and friendly and always goes out of their way you approach them for anything. Instances - I needed iron - they had it and also helped with iron boards There was some foul smell in the bathroom and they not only tried to fix it but also did extremely sensitive cleaning and provided a bottle of freshener. They packed breakfast for my early train and, when needed gave me free coffee and anything they could provide. Their coffee machine is so awesome rich in taste and milky texture. The location is a bit out of center but easily reachable with trams and buses which are in front of the hotel. I was lucky to get a small balcony. Wifi and aircon were fantastic

We booked the option room with jacuzzi and those are the ones pictured on the official photos. The room is big, as well as the bathroom, and the jacuzzi was really nice. We really did like how close the complex is to Sofia and it's a good option for a weekend get-away. We would consider to come back in the warmer months together with our kid as there are facilities on site.

Dinner on the terrace was very good. The pool, spa and hot tub and the gardens were a little oasis. Staff were professional, helpful and friendly. This hotel management go the extra mile. You can see it in the details and the fact everything is clean, organised and adjusted. The waiting staff in the restaurant were fantastic, very well trained and attentive. The gardens were well maintained. Don't let arrival put you off. It's on a main road next to a petrol station, but once in its a hidden gem with a pool oasis. We wished we'd booked longer

We really enjoyed staying here. It was recommended by a local friend. Staff was very nice. Room was nice size and clean, there's a mini bar too. Towels, bathrobes, room slippers and body care products all provided. There was an hairdryer in the bathroom, a safe in the room and a drying rack. AC was nice and working good, bed was comfortable. We booked a room with the entrance for the spa included and the spa facilities are great! You can go to the indoor swimming pool, they have saunas, steam bath and an outdoor pool at 38° which is absolutely amazing, the gem of the hotel. There's another pool accessible from the garden which is covered and it's warm. The other outside pools were not open (I think) but they are in summer. They also have lockers for the spa facilities. I also got a massage (not included in package) and it was very nice. They have a lot of options for those. Included in our stay was breakfast which it was a lot of choice at buffet, we liked everything. We also tried the restaurant a few times, it's really really nice!! Absolutely recommend this hotel, we used it as a our base for our day trips (we went to Bansko, Rila Monastery, and other local places). It wasn't busy at all when we visited but in the summer I think it might be as the swimming pool is open for everyone (including not hotel guests).

Breakfast was tasty and there was plenty of food presented (English brakfast also), the Irish pub/restaurant is great, we tried it for the dinner and the service was fast, food was tasty, the personnel was friendly. All the staff for the accomodation and reception was super accurate, friendly, replied to all questions. Rooms were great, houses are super cute and with very nice mountain feeling. The location is at the center, near everything. The houseit was warm and clean.

Amazing property, cozy atmosphere, rooms and all common areas were super clean . Rooms are big, bed was very comfortable, the balcony overlooked the snow slope which was awesome. Tea/coffee facilities, bathrobes and slippers and toiletries were provided. Towels were super thick. Extra pillows were also available. Breakfast was abundant, we ordered from the menu on weekdays while it was buffet during the weekend.

The breakfast was always fresh and tasty. Only thing was that it was the same every day, variety could be improved. The reception guy was extremely helpful. Location is brilliant just by the slopes and ski hire in the same building. Our room had beautiful view of the ski slopes and trees and a balcony was a big +. There was a coffee machine and a kettle in the room, bath robes and slippers etc. Live music in the restaurant every evening.

It is located outside the city centre but surrounded with mountains, nature and fresh air. The facilities, spa and massage, gym are amazing. The spa has several types of saunas, such as aroma, infra and traditional, Turkish bath, a jacuzzi and a large pool. The gym is huge for a hotel gym, with many many machines. The restaurant is also very good, serving tasty foods, breakfast is OK, with a large selection of doughnuts. Rooms are big and comfortable. Each room is located in a separate villa.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times already and I absolutely love it. The spa area is fantastic — the sauna and the pool are spotless and really relaxing. The whole place has a calm, cozy vibe, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back!

The room was big and clean. Bed was comfortable. For the price we paid we had, use of the spa and a good breakfast. The bar area was cosy with log fire. The pool table was a bonus and free to play

We wanted to enjoy the weekend by the pool and just relax- quick escape. We really liked the fact you can choose in between of the outdoor and indoor swimming pool with the spa. The whole resort was nice and quiet. Water in the indoor pool had really nice temperature and a size of the pool was great too. The outdoor pool was quite cold but I can imagine during hot summer days can be the temperature of the water more pleasant. The restaurant and the menu were alright. Difficult to say for us if it’s pricey or not(we have been visiting Bulgaria for the first time). Breakfast wasn’t bad, we have been missing more vegetables and fruits options. I would say we are used to bigger breakfast for 4* hotels. Just the waitresses have been giving us the feeling they are not super happy to see customers sometimes. But they always helped. The place is nice and clean. We had an amazing view toward the pool and the mountain. We enjoyed the SPA and the internal pools and Jacuzzi. The most of all is the treatment of the personal. I brought my 83 year old mom and they were amazing trying to make her feel comfortable. I would definitely visit again and recommend highly.

I really liked how we were greeted and taken care of by the staff, they were so kind and pleasant, always smiling. The jacuzzi on the rooftop is a really nice touch to bring the experience to a higher level, really nice. The room is comfortable and we were able to rest peacefully.

The facilities and furniture were in good condition, and despite our late arrival, the property host was extremely helpful and welcoming. The jacuzzi added the finishing touches.

The location was ideal for access to other restaurant and coffee shop options (literally around the corner), quiet, and proximity to nature trails.

The location was fantastic, near a beautiful mountain, church and lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby. The mountain air was fresh and the temperature was much cooler than the city centre. The hotel was very comfortable and our room was great. Staff members were welcoming and friendly.

The room was amazing. Really good size, beautiful decor. And they had TV's that played Netflix and YouTube etc, which as an English person was great as I could log into my own accounts and watch what I wanted. The food in the restaurant was delicious and breakfast was also very good. The lady on reception when we arrived was absolutely lovely.

I am usually very critical but this was easily the best hotel ever. Everything was perfect! Great breakfast, nice staff, amazing room, great gadgets (TV in the mirror), clean, everything in good condition, silent, nice chill temperatures from the nature in the back. We will only stay in this hotel in Sofia from now on!

I recently stayed at Ramada by Wyndham Sofia for three nights during a business trip, and overall, I was very pleased with the experience. The hotel is in a great spot which made getting around super convenient. It’s also within easy reach of downtown Sofia and key attractions like the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and Vitosha Boulevard. My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed, including a comfy bed, decent workspace, and good Wi-Fi. The decor is slightly dated, but everything was functional and well-maintained. The standout for me was the indoor pool and wellness area. It’s rare to find such good leisure facilities in a mid-range city hotel. Staff were polite and efficient, especially at check-in and in the restaurant. Not overly warm, but professional and helpful when I had questions. Breakfast was included and had a good variety—continental options, eggs, fresh fruit, pastries, and decent coffee. I didn’t try the dinner service, but the bar had a decent selection and relaxed atmosphere. For the price, I thought the value was excellent, especially with the amenities included. Ramada by Wyndham Sofia is a solid choice for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with great access to the city and transport. It’s not luxury, but it ticks all the boxes for a city break or business trip. I’d definitely consider staying again.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is perfect,very central and convenient. The room was super clean and comfy, and the breakfast offered a nice variety with fresh options. A very special thanks to Kristina from guest relations. She was incredibly professional, efficient, and solution-oriented when we had a small request. Her warm and attentive attitude really elevated our overall experience. Highly recommended!

The room was clean and comfortable although the bed was a little hard. Breakfast was excellent with lots of both hot and cold options. The proximity to the central railway and bus station, and to a metro station made it a good location for movement into the city centre (only 2 stops on the metro) and for inter-city travel by train or bus. The staff at reception were very friendly and fun, and very helpful in providing information.

The hotel lived up to its 3 stars. Rooms are spacious and clean. I'll start with the cons: We stayed 3 nights and our rooms were not cleaned once during our stay. Towels could be exchanged for fresh ones at the spa reception. The food in the restaurant was ok but there is a lot to be wanted if they want to cater for international guests. Lunch was really good, dinner was sufficient- mainly Bulgarian traditional dishes. Dont expect anything international or exciting but the food was tasty and the staff does care- they ask for feedback and make sure nobody leaves the restaurant hungry. I have to say that the biggest assest of the hotel are the people who work there. The staff were absolutely amazing, without exception. The manager- Darina Shatova goes out of her way to make sure everything runs smoothly and everyone is happy. She asked on many occasions if all was ok and if we needed anything else. We chose the hotel because of the water park attached to it. In all fairness, we were informed by the reception that the park is open to public at the time we made the booking. It was fun, both kids and adults loved it. And it gets really crowded. There are plenty of pool chairs though. However the waterpark visitors easily enter the hotel grounds and use the hotel facilities. This is an issue and needs attention. We were told it's not isolated to Elbrus but a problem for many of the local hotels. Overall- we had a very enjoyable weekend.THANK YOU!

If you are looking for a parties you won't find them here. This is a family place, excellent for children. We've booked double room, but we got an apartment, without additional costs. The view from the balcony wasn't something, and for me this is not important. Important is that the apartment was clean and nice. Not perfect, but for that price excellent. Clean towels and bath robes each day. Staff is OK, nice and pleasant. Manager lady was present all the time, willing to help, always monitoring what is going on. Every reasonable request was accepted. Food was nice, almost same breakfast each morning, but enough of different options so you can combine your breakfast. Lunch and diner, with lots of different meals, so you can also combine. We didn't have a same meal for the three days of staying there. Pools were warm and clean, even the one outside. Aqua park wasn't working, but its normal for the period of year. Good and secured parking.

Perfect value for the money! The staff was extremely kind, welcoming, helpful! The facilities are very clean and cozy! Spa is good, and food is very tasty, with fresh products.

It was a great stay, everyone was friendly and nice. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The pools were clean and warm. We visited at the end of October and the temperature of the water was perfect. The spa amenities were also amazing. The atmosphere especially at dinner was a bit more on the traditional Bulgarian side with the music but we didn’t mind it.

Loved the big pool, and the hot one was perfect .. especially for the kids! The staff was friendly and always smiling!! The grenery surounding the complex was full of happily chirping birds and added to the relaxing facilities!

The pool is amazing, the breakfast is great, the beds are comfy and the staff was polite and kind.

The hot mineral water everywhere. It's simply amazing and the outside pool area is big enough to enjoy and relax but also to get a decent swim! That being said, the hotel is indeed 2 stars so you should adjust your expectations when it comes to accommodations or breakfast. We have been coming here for years and in all honesty, the kitchen got significantly better recently, the amenities are better taken care of and the personal is just wonderful so there are many reasons for us to come back again and again and again haha.

The restaurant on the top floor has a luxurious buffet for breakfast. There is a cafe in the lobby. Downstairs there is a sauna, a massage table, SPA treatments, a swimming pool with a jacuzzi, a room with exercise equipment. Everything is great!

I highly recommend this hotel. It is located next to the highways, easy to find and not far away from Sofia Airport about 15 drive. As well it is not far away from supermarket and other shops like restaurants. It's about 5 mins walk. It has a good basement parking spare for free. The room was very big, comfortable and clean for us 3 adults. It had full windows and I could see the view outside. The shower was very big, comfortable and clean. The indoor swimming pool is amazing. The morning breakfast was buffet and it had all types of food with an amazing view in the restaurant.

The spa was really nice, clean and relaxing. The breakfast was really good, fresh fruit, warm food and not one plate was empty. Comfortable beds, good stuff and helpful❤️❤️❤️

Good location just off the ring road so easy to find, just a short drive to the city centre. Although there is a lot of traffic it is not very noisy as you keep your windows shut. We already stay many times at the "Sveta Sofia Hotel" and we love it so much. Location is great, near subway station and central street "Vitosha". Staff is very friendly and helpful. 1.The location of the hotel was great. Situated in the centre, in a quiet surroundings and a 10-minute-walk from most of the prominent landmarks and Serdika metro station. The bus station is a 20-minute-walk from the hotel. 2.The breakfast was basic but really tasty. The kids enjoyed the scrambled eggs and blueberry jam 😊 and the coffee was strong ☕ 4. We could sleep well, the beds were comfortable and it was not noisy. You could hear the neighbours from time to time but nothing serious. 5. There was a water cooker and some coffee and tea. 6. The stay was overall fine - we only spent the evenings/nights in the hotel as we were sightseeing during the day and found our stay pretty much enjoyable.

Staff at front desk and cleaner were lovely and helpful. Arrived early and they assisted with luggage and room while we went and explored area. Property is dated, but does have charm and comfort. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Our room was spacious and bed comfortable. Bathroom clean and functional. Only issue is that walls are thin and can hear movement and outside noise but is a minor problem for us. We found limited dining options for the night.

Location is great, staff was really nice, especially the receptionist. The room was very big, confortable, decirated very cool (the lids loved the atmosphere!) . They even have a jacuzzi - although I didn’t figure out how to use it right 🙂 Breakfast was basic, but also very cheap, so good value for money.

It’s really comfy, clean and warm. As outside the inside is so beautiful and well decorated. The piano bar in the basement is incredibly!

In a quiet location, very close to the railway station which was important to me. There was an excellent restaurant - "Eddie's Bar & Grill" I think - just 100m down the street, with lots of space, a great menu (in photograph form for those who do not speak Bulgarian!) and very modestly priced.

I arrived in the night time and was told that my upgraded room was still in use by other guest which extended their stay. The nice lady on the phone told me that i got an whole apartment instead for the 2 nights. The apartment was nice, modern and cosy and I got something like my own little flat which was a nice surprise.

The location. We got an apartment because of healthy requirements. No smoking environments. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The cleaning stuff is extremely helpful and connects with the management immediately when asked for help.

Having only arrived late in the evening due to a delayed flight, the reception was already closed. The number to call was clearly posted at the entrance and the lady was very helpful, providing clear instructions on how to enter the building and my room. Full 24/7 support! Furthermore, I had a wonderful large room with comfortable bed.

When travelling sold this was like home from home. The staff could not do enough for you, there was no drama, everyone was very friendly. The cleanliness was superb and service exceptional.i

The owner is very friendly and helpful. He transported me to and from the airport for a fee of 15 €/trip, which is similar to what you would pay for a taxi. The apartement where I stayed (the one on Golo Bardo street as seen in the pictures) is located in a nice residential area. You have a couple of restaurants/cafes right next door, basically as you walk out of the building. Also there is a barbershop and a 24/7 grocery store nearby. Metro/bus stations are about a 10 minute walk. Inside it was clean, spacious, very modern and pleasant, AC in both the living room and the bedroom which is a nice feature. You have everything you would ever need, microwave, washing machine (even detergent), espresso machine etc. The bed was comfy enough, I got a good night's sleep for the entirety of my stay.

The rooms are amazing. Clean and spacious. We had two rooms and two shower rooms, very comfortable. The host is very friendly and welcoming. Calm and nice area. All the facilities were perfectly working.

We loved the apartment. It's spacious, bright, warm, with everything you need for a stay while visiting Sofia. You will feel like you are in your own home. It's clean and the beds are comfortable, there are two bathrooms, one for each room which is great. It is a safe place for families with children. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. When visiting Sofia again we will definitely stay here again.

Venice apartment exceeded my expectations in every way. The apartment was spacious and well-furnished, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The host, Nicolay, was amiable and helpful, and he even picked me up from the airport. He was always available to answer my questions and ensure a great stay. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

The property was very easy to access - just a 7 minute walk (or so) to the Metro, a huge advantage. Really lovely area of the city - quiet and residential, with bars/restaurants and supermarkets (including a 24 hour) in the area. The host was lovely and met us early than we had originally indicated, as we arrived early - and accommodated us and had the room ready ASAP. The apartment was quiet, spacious.

This is a quaint small city hotel with distinctive charm and atmosphere. The hotel has a perfect location, a short walk from the bus station and the popular Freedom Island park where my family spent hours in the local zoo and attended a local commemmoration event. The cathedral and the Ethnographic museum are just across the street. There are two more museums worh visiting in the close vicinity but they are closed at the weekend. We did not have breakfast at the hotel though they offer a decent variety of continental and cooked breakfasts from 08:00 to 10:00. The price is 8,00 leva (about 4 euro). A cheaper option are the local bakeries (closed on Sunday) and the cafe nearby. The reception staff was polite and helpful and assisted us with our requests and inquiries - I got all the information I needed, they made me pots of tea late at night, arranged an early check-in and a taxi transfer. I booked the room at a promotional rate and what we got was the best value for money, even better than I had expected. Just wonderful! I appreciated the Open Floor plan, the Cross-Ventilation, the Espresso machine, the washer AND dryer, and the amazing shower. It's obvious that the owner (who I met) really cares about her guests. There's such care taken to make the apartment more than it is. Nice decorative touches. Also useful additions to aid in making an extended stay (one month!) so pleasant. Stingray music channels and Netflix on TV. Great location. No traffic noise. Nice trees on both sides. Balcony. Very easy to get to/from Main Bus Station. Owner provides printed material re: Sofia suggestions and sights. Immediate responses to questions or requests; always helpful. As to Sofia: terrific! Friendly population; many spoke (or understand) English. As a non-smoker who spent three months in the Balkans (where smokers are predominant), I REALLY liked that (thanks to the EU) smoking is not permitted inside restaurants and most bars. Car drivers are very considerate of pedestrians. Currency exchange offices have great rates with no fees. (Can pay for almost everything with a credit card, but sometimes not the gratuity: 10%) I will definitely return, probably later this year. Easy to get to Plovdiv by bus. Also, Mount Vinosha is beautiful.

The apartment was amazing, very clean, comfortable, quiet, very nicely decorated, it did not miss anything. We even found coffee, an espresso maker, tea, everything was there to make us comfortable. The host was very friendly and responded quickly to all our questions.

The location was absolutely perfect, close to all the local amenities and a great selection of restaurants and cafes, only a short walk to all of the cities main sights, very friendly, safe neighbourhood. The apartment itself was clean and modern, whilst also providing a very cosy home away from home whilst travelling

Situated right in the center but really quiet since the apartment is in a house in the back yard. Check-in was contactless and really easy. Everything (supermarket, bakery, bars, restaurants and sights) is nearby. The apartment is nicely furnished, the bed comfortable and there is a nice coffee machine. It was exceptionally clean and the bathroom was the only one we had during our Bulgaria round trip with natural light.

The apartment is within walking distance to the Basilica and on a tram line that takes you directly to the central tourist area very cheaply. No cars on the tram line street. Many good small food stores, bakery and restaurants close to the building. It had a fully functioning kitchen well supplied. Slippers were provided !! Comfortable bed. Good WIFI. Excellent support instructions in many languages for the washing machine. I loved the art and artistic touches. Received personal phone call and received codes in timely manner. Very clean and cosy.

Was not an isdue fir me as i from bulgaria myself😄There is a comfy chairs and coffee table on the masdive terrace with some view😍 The bed was moderately soft whuch i loved. Kitchen had a jug and a stove but no sause pans so i did not quite get why there is a stove😂 So if you plan to make food for real ypu should bring your kitchet sause pans! If you eat out, make sure you withdraw cash beforehand! The guy on the phone was helpfull, he replied riggt away when i called to get access🙃 He spoke goid english😄

We liked the cleanliness, the apartment is well equipped with all facilities, quiet environment, close to nature, great location with easy access to the rest of the town, lovely romantic view from the balcony.

Everything was exactly like in pictures or even better. Very clean, comfortable, really nice design, well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, air conditioning, balcony, parking for the car etc. :)

The check in experience was quite straightforward. The rooms (I was in apartment 2) are spacious, the beds very comfortable. The street is quiet (there is a small park nearby). It is 25-30 minutes walk to the city center (over bul. Syedinenie) - however there a lot of restaurants on/to the way there, so it is quite easy to grab a byte (walking distance).

Location was perfect - at the edge of the park. The whole building was great, the apartment was very modern and cosy at the same time. Excellent stay.

One of the most beautiful, cozy and welcoming places we’ve stayed at. The room was impeccable, equipped with a jacuzzi and sauna, extremely clean and comfortable. Attention to detail was given to everything in the property from the furnishing (in traditional Bulgarian style) to the landscaping. The hosts were extremely kind and welcoming. We had dinner and breakfast at the onsite restaurant - everything was very delicious. Thank you!

The hosts were incredibly kind and accomodating. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was also a coffee machine and tea bags we could use free of charge! We didn't have the breakfast that's offered for 8 leva, and lunch and dinner were not an option during our stay, but the hosts' recommended restaurants were all exceptional. Overall a pleasant space to relax!

This guesthouse is a gem. We had a beautiful spacious and clean room overlooking the garden and rooftops. Storks flew overhead at times. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious. We loved the elderflower and lemon juice. Our host was so friendly and helpful. The village is fascinating with so much to explore. We enjoyed 2 days visiting the house museums and learning about how the village greatly impacted Bulgaria's history and about village life.

Such a cozy place to stay in such a cozy area. Loved absolutely everything about the experience! Great extremely clean rooms( mine was as big as some apartments I’ve visited before). Everything was spotless, great location, the jacuzzi bath was fantastic after a hike, a luxurious apartment indeed. Alex, the host was super accommodating and helpful with directions and info Highly recommend!

The communication from the host was excellent. Very detailed instructions made arrival and getting into the apartment very easy. Kitchen had things labeled and made it helpful to find things. Very clean and comfortable. My teenagers loved the jacuzzi tub! Very convenient location for getting around the city. Extra set of keys was helpful when we went out separately. Private parking area very easy to park in.

Colourful and bright, very well thought out apartment with super comfortable beds and a great location. Dimming lights, Jacuzzi and stairs were the favourite with our little ones. Also, a neat balcony to watch local life! Plenty of convenience shops around, metro and tram lines just around the corner. An easy and enjoyable walk in the neighbourhood too. We had a great time and would highly recommend Alex's apartment. His communication and recommendations were always on point!

Duplex Penthouse in the city was Awesome! We arrived walking in a rain storm and Alex came to guide us in. Once in we felt at home! Incredibly comfortable and beautiful. Everything was there, which was good since we arrived late in the rain. The King bed upstairs with white cotton sheets was extremely comfortable. The room was cozy with a great chair to relax in. There has been some discussion in other reviews about the light / darkness of the upstairs bedroom. It has 2 skylight windows with coverings. At night it was dark and some light came through in the morning, but I wouldn’t call it bright. Alex supplied eye masks if needed. The beautiful upstairs bath has a jacuzzi tub. The downstairs bathroom had a great shower. I loved lying on the big, plush couch where you could watch a large screen TV, read or work with your computer. It was totally comfortable for 2 people. I totally appreciated the Bosch washer / dryer and drying rack you could put on the terrace. Users manuals for everything, how many times have you needed that in other apartments. The apartment is on the 6th floor with an elevator and a view from the terrace. The apartment also includes an individual enclosed garage with lockable door under the apartment. This was important to us as it supplied a secure parking for our bikes. One thing to note: the staircase to the upstairs bedroom is steep. We loved so much we wanted to extend but it was already rented. We would definitely return!

I was genuinely impressed by this 3-star hotel — it exceeded expectations in all the right ways. The jacuzzi was fantastic and such a relaxing highlight of our stay. Surprisingly, while a nearby 5-star hotel didn’t even offer us bathrobes, this 3-star did, which was a lovely and unexpected touch. The beds were also incredibly comfortable — we had such a good night’s sleep. A special shoutout to the lady at the reception: she was warm, welcoming, and super accommodating, especially when it came to arranging our spa access. Her friendly attitude and excellent customer service really stood out and made our stay feel special.

The property is in an extremely strategic position, few steps away from Vitosha boulevard. Even if the first impression of the outside building may not be the best, the apartment is big, cozy, well furnished and it honestly looks very good. Each room, including kitchen, has air conditioning (hot/cold), the beds are very comfortable, and we were provided with extra towels. Super clean in every room, kitchen is very well stocked, there’s a coffee machine (and a moka) with complementary coffee and teas, microwave, dishwasher. If you’re a smoker you will also appreciate a lot the balcony. The host was very kind and caring, provided us with good suggestions and kept our luggages for us after check out, until we were ready to go to the airport. Definitely advised, 10/10 stay.

Excellent location in city centre (though in a quiet street), a very spacious and squeaky clean appartment, furnished with taste and good quality furnishings, super comfortable beds, all necessary facilities, very friendly hosts - we liked everything!

The apartment was perfect. It was cozy, clean and central located. Also we found a Christmas tree and some Christmas lights, such a nice surprise. We really enjoyed our stay. Super clean, the pool is big enough and well maintained. Parking available close to the house. Location is perfect, close to the park and the main street. We had a pleasant experience with the jacuzzi in the room filled in with mineral water as well.

The pool was amazing- quit large and the hottub was super hot with mineral water. Rooms were small but comfortable. Each room had their own bathroom which was very comfortable.

The bathroom was clean, neat and warm. Especially with the current season. The entire apartment was really, really warm evening without the usage of heater or air-conditioning. Beds were comfortable and sheets were clean. What's great is that there was full equipment for the kitchenette and the kettle was fast enough. Great and comfortable spot!

This is the second time that we stay in this place and the room was even better than the previous one :) it was spotless and neat. The facilities were well maintained and not worn out. The location was perfect for us, as we were 15 minutes away from the University Faculty that I had to attend. There is Fantastico supermarket within 5 minutes walking distance, some restaurants nearby and other shops. Finally the communication with the staff was fast and easy.

Very comfortable bed, clean bathroom with nice shower. There is a shared kitchen space available which was useful. It isn't close to the city centre but the location was great for us as we just needed to be near the airport. There were not any restaurants open within walking distance as we were there a bit late but it is close to a nice supermarket.

Convenient location, clean and quiet room with a separate common kitchen, comfortable mattress. Would recommend.

Everything was just fine, Found a Happy restaurant within 5 minute drive for dinner, Bread shop opposite entrance for breakfast, Only 10 minutes from the airport., will stay again.

Amazing place, super friendly staff. The room was so cosy, quiet, clean and atmospheric ! The bed was extremely comfortable. I loved the marble bathroom and how earthy felt. We had lovely time there and the breakfast was delicious!

The location of the property is great, it is in a good neighbourhood with lots of enjoyable walks nearby. The local traditional restaurant is good. It is very peaceful and quiet, the staff were very friendly. The lobby and restaurant seems to be made to a high standard. We didn’t go in the pool and the spa facilities were closed.

Very nice surroundings, in a quiet area. Comfortable bed, cozy and clean room. Good breakfast.
