3 night stay in Cape Town at the start of an African adventure. Super friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, good location, 15 mins to beach, and to V&A. The apartment is probably the best we’ve stayed in (penthouse/honeymoon) especially for the money charged. Full high end kitchen, en suite, separate bathroom, 4 balconies and roof terrace. Jacuzzi wasn’t working properly but still 5 stars

We stayed in the penthouse apartment and it was absolutely stunning. Beautifully furnished, very spacious, fantastic views and a lovely warm fire. The only (minor) disappointment was that the heating element on the roof top jacuzzi wasn’t working but the staff were very helpful in trying to fix it. Lovely breakfast too. We will definitely be going back next year.

My stay at Romney Park Luxury Apartments was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality and the stunning views from the property. The apartment itself was spacious, beautifully furnished, and impeccably clean—truly a home away from home. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made it easy to prepare meals, but I also enjoyed the on-site restaurant for breakfast. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served with care. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. What really stood out was the location—just minutes from the V&A Waterfront and other top Cape Town attractions, yet nestled in a peaceful, secure area. Whether I was relaxing by the pool or sipping wine on the private balcony, I always felt relaxed and well taken care of. I would absolutely recommend Romney Park to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and convenient stay in Cape Town. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

This was our first breakaway to Pringle Bay. Struggled to decide where to stay, but are we pleased that we decided on Villa Marine. Will pick this B&B over and over - best view in town, the ocean on your door step and the jacuzzi was our highlight of the day. As the wind can blow very strong in Pringle Bay, we still enjoyed the sun, the view and could relax in the jacuzzi with a light ocean breeze. Friendly host and never in your way, but someone was always available!

We stayed in Room 6 which is one of the Jacuzzi rooms. The views from our room were breathtakingly beautiful. Our host, Elani, was helpful, friendly and professional and went out of her way to make sure that our stay was comfortable. We loved the breakfast - continental and a choice between four hot breakfasts. And the cherry on top is that they bake fresh bread every morning. We are already planning our next stay!

Beautiful scenery. The staff was so accommodating. Rooms were clean and the Aircon helped a lot with the heat. The jacuzzi was clean and amazing. The fire pit creates an atmosphere. We stayed in glamping tent 1 and it was so peaceful. Would recommend this to all.

We loved our stay at CFGH, and would highly recommend to others. It was the ultimate in friendly, homely hospitality. Our room was spacious with excellent facilities. Our daily continental breakfast was delicious, and a great start to our day. The common room was a lovely space to relax, with lovely decor; & the rooftop deck and small plunge pool was a perfect spot to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. Has the best view of the mountain. I've left the best till last, & that’s the staff. A huge shout out and thank you to Sam, Belinda and Sharon. So welcoming and helpful, who all go above & beyond to ensure we had the best stay. The guest house location in De Waterkant, offers plenty of nearby restaurants and cafes & the Cape Quarter shopping centre nearby. We will definitely choose CFGH on our next holiday to Cape Town.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cape Finest GH and could not have wished for a better welcome in South Africa but here. The communication before we arrived was easy and friendly and we were welcomed with open arms and big smiles. I think usually breakfast is served in the property but maybe due to low season, we had our breakfast in the nearby The Charles which was a delight as well. The room we had was specious, modern and with a tasteful interior. The bathroom was big enough for two with a comfortable shower. The beds were like sleeping on clouds - so comfy! The entrance and common sitting room were beautifully decorated such as the roof terrace with beautiful view and even a small pool. Thank you team! Our next visit to Cape Town, we will definitely stay here again!

Amazing place. Willie and the team were just amazing, friendly, professional and competent and we felt so well taken care of. The breakfast was generous. The fine details were added bonus ( like the urn down service and sweets on the pillows). The terrace had an amazing view of the harbor and table top mountain. The neighborhood is safe, and beautiful and Willie gave us clear instructions on what streets to avoid.

Incredible stay!!! We stayed there for 5 nights and felt home in the end. That was not just because of the beautiful neighbourhood, the great bright and super clean apartment, tasty breakfast, it was mainly because of Willie,who made us feel really comfortable. He welcomed us with his super friendly attitude, fresh fruits and a bottle of wine and gave us the best tipps for Cape Town and the surrounding ever! You can ask Willie everything: how to stay safe in Cape Town, where to go for the best drinks and food, about tours and on and on... Cape finest guesthouse is also settled in a nice nighbourhood with super views over the City. We highly recommend a stay there!

It was a beautiful central location - The room was spacious, clean & quiet. Had a fridge which was a great touch and bed was extremely comfortable. The rooftop was an amazing addition to the accommodation, we sat with a glass of wine watching the sun go down, surprisingly very peaceful given how central it is! William was fantastic too.

10 out of 10. The penthouse takes up an entire top floor with a Jacuzzi and an amazing view. I was really impressed with the level of opulence and attention to detail. Dinner and breakfast were just as good with many options presented.

We had a lovely spacious room with a large terrace and jacuzzi. The hotel is beautifully furnished, the outside spaces are very attractive and the food is excellent. My wife enjoyed the spa treatments and facilities. The staff are brilliant. We booked the hotel airport transfer, well worth the outlay.

Service was impeccable ! I felt like a queen from the moment I arrived. The suites are beautiful with comfortable beds , modern bathrooms and traditional decor . Our jacuzzi was very private and the surroundings very serene .

Hyper friendly staff, great assistance with tours, sightseeing and arranging car transportation by the friendly hotel staff. Great restaurant with excellent meals and wine. Great full English breakfast. Honestly, cannot recommend with more enthusiasm. Try it!

Huge and well-appointed rooms/suites. Our suite (#15) not only had a large shower and soaking tub, but also a sauna downstairs plus a jacuzzi and pool w private patio! Extremely quiet and safe location. Numerous services, including airport transportation and an excellent restaurant. Highly r commended.

Stayed here for a night. Just to get away and this place is a gem. We were treated like royalty. The food was amazing. Afternoon tea is superb. At night I took a shower outdoors. Room had private deck with jacuzzi and shower. The grounds are emaculate. So many sitting areas. Spa treatments. ..food complimentary sherry and wine in the room

Fabulous hotel! All the staff were friendly and so attentive. We stayed for two days without leaving the hotel and it was treat after treat. We booked a suite and enjoyed our balcony with jacuzzi. Bathroom was large and very beautifully presented. Spa treatments (body scrub and hot stone massage) were wonderful. Breakfast buffet was of finest quality and you could choose from a hot menu too. We also enjoyed our casual lunch and dinner and I thought the prices were very reasonable for the quality. Loved having a fridge with complimentary drinks and fresh milk for tea. Lots of beautifully furnished lounges to sit in and an amazing fishpond. Didn’t use the small gym but it had a good range of equipment. Everything has been thought of. Can’t wait to go back!

We had an absolutely lovely stay at the InterContinental Johannesburg O.R. Tambo! Even though we were only there for one night, everything about our experience was exceptional. The staff are some of the friendliest and most welcoming we’ve ever met. Our room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly quiet—exactly what we needed before our flight. The location couldn’t be more convenient—it’s literally just steps from the airport, which made everything so easy for us. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and both the food and drinks were outstanding. We had dinner at Quills, and it was to die for! Breakfast the next morning included both a buffet and entrée options, and everything was absolutely delicious. Our server was so kind and attentive (I wish I could remember his name!). To make our stay even more special, guest relations surprised us with a romantic honeymoon setup—roses, a slice of chocolate cake, and a bottle of wine. It was such a thoughtful touch and really showed how much they care about their guests. The hospitality here is truly outstanding. When we returned a week later for a quick layover, the team actually remembered us and even recalled details about our trip—that level of care is rare and so appreciated. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. If you’re flying through Johannesburg, this hotel is an absolute gem!

An excellent welcoming, safe, airport hotel. The best choice here without a doubt. We were met by a friendly porter at the airport who escorted us on the 1 minute walk to the hotel. We requested this in advance, although in hindsight it felt very easy and safe going between the hotel and the airport. Every member of staff we met (restaurant, security, concierge, restaurant, housekeeping etc) were so helpful and so welcoming. Thank you. We booked a junior suite - spacious and nicely presented. The common parts of the hotel are also well maintained and tasteful. The hotel is so quiet - we didn’t hear a single plane. The concierge arranged to store our spare luggage whilst we head off on safari. Two small observations: a heated radiator for the bathroom would be useful and the air con unit in the bedroom was quite noisy. We look forward to staying here again in a few days, on return from safari. Excellent service in the perfect airport hotel. Thank you.

Just checked out of this lovely hotel! My room was fabulous — air conditioning that really worked! A shower that was like standing under Victoria Falls! And pillows and bed linens that were truly luxurious! I started my stay with a morning at the spa. This afternoon lab meant I was surrounded by care and attention after a very long international flight and, arriving at 7 am, knowing my room would unlikely to be available for several hours. I was SO fortunate to be paired up with my spa therapist, Albertina. She is small but oh so mighty as she completed an algae wrap and then a marvelous massage! Thank you so much for your care and attention — and the amazing slice of birthday cake to complete my treatment! Meals at Quills were very tasty! The breakfast buffet offered lots of fresh fruits, meats, cheeses and juice. The a la carte menu meant I did not have to wait in a line up for my tasty omelette but rather sit and enjoy my creamy cappuccino while my breakfast was expertly made and then delivered by Robson. Thanks to everyone at this wonderful hotel for making landing in Johannesburg so relaxing!

We always use this hotel to break the journey when travelling between London and Cape Town, direct Cape Town flights not always being available or grossly overpriced. Located just a stones throw from the airport, it is both convenient and safe. Rooms are well sized and very clean. Bathroom toiletries are of high quality. There is a good gym, a usable and warm indoor pool and treatments on offer are enjoyable and sensibly priced. The restaurant, Quills, serves a very good breakfast, both buffet and a la carte. It is also open both for all day lunch and then, with a different menu, for dinner. We are particularly impressed by the staff in this hotel. Polite, well trained, attentive. Very professional. In this regard I would also like to mention a senior waitress called Tumi who served us lunch today. A delight to have around. A shame that we cannot have more like her in our London hotels. We shall return.

Third time staying here at this gorgeous hotel steps from the Airport. Delightful greeting with happy staff serving bottled water and warm towel with check in. Rooms are quiet, large, and full of amenities for a comfortable yet luxurious stay. Dinner in the restaurant was again a lovely experience with creative , delicious foods and cocktails and excellent service from Anele! Breakfast is always a highlight with cooked to order and huge buffet options. Service is quick and cheerful. Thank you to Thabile! This hotel is beautifully decorated, well-kept and the flowers and landscaping outside exceptional. Hope to return!

I liked the Jacuzzi, spa bath or small swimming pool for two people which was a god sent.... The upgraded bed was so so big and comfy

Very friendly staff. Food was excelent! Breathtaken views! Loved the jacuzzi outside. I enjoyed the spa, while hubby was watching rugby in the bar area. It was our wedding anniversary, all staff went out off their way, to make it feel special. Will deffinitely recommend, and will go back! Thanks everyone

The place was so welcoming and very peaceful. Fresh cup cakes on arrival. 😊 😀 Proper space to unwind and relax... everything is so natural. The view from the other side of the bar! Splendid! The staff @ Mr. Chris, a big hug🫂 - everyone was so friendly, and the massage ladies were amazing, too. The SPA, oh yes, the color of our ropes💚 for a change! LOL The Sunset Game Drive was my Highlight... Harmless animals (Impala) roaming around, I mean close range, how nice is that 😄 👌 And mostly *The food* , OMG 😲 😍 Big up to Chef, Mr. Shepherd 👨‍🍳 and Mr Hendricks 💪 Mega love for y'all!

The room was amazing and the views were amazing. They have kudu that roam around and you can feed them. They have nice walking trails, if you lucky you'll spot more kudu and giraffes. This was all we saw on our walk. The breakfasts were delicious. The dinners were good but sometimes could be a bit better in terms of flavour. Daniel was incredible! He is so friendly and helpful! All the staff are friendly!

The warm welcome by our hosts Mike & Sandy, along with their cute doggo's & our yummy local picnic basket (those cheeses, seed bread & watermelon marmalade though), just added to the much needed downtime in this picturesque little country haven & just loved our first eco-dome experience. The gas heated hottub, swinging indoor window chairs & the netted deck space, just tired it all together. Loved that we got to do a lil nature walk around the land & just take a breather to drink in the view at Sandy's Cove. Seeing my favourite quote, hanging in the room too...just added that "feeling at peace".

We had the most wonderful stay at Pom Gratz EcoDomes, nestled in a remote location surrounded by nature. The tranquility and serenity of the area were truly unparalleled. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience, as they were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One of the highlights of my time there was the breathtaking surroundings. The natural beauty that surrounded the property was simply stunning, with picturesque landscapes and captivating views. It was a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, offering a peaceful sanctuary where we could unwind and rejuvenate. I must also mention the outdoors hot tub, which was an absolute delight. Taking a dip in the hot tub while being surrounded by nature was an experience like no other. It was the perfect way to relax and soak in the serene atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend Pom Gratz to anyone seeking a remote and peaceful getaway. With friendly hosts, beautiful surroundings, and the added luxury of an outdoors hot tub, it is an ideal destination for those looking to reconnect with nature and find tranquility. Our stay was amazing, we had everything that we needed and expected for our short but very sweet breakaway. Beautiful, natural surroundings. Peace and quiet and also a very intamate setting. All the boxes were ticked. The domes are very Cosy inside. The kitchen and toilet facilities clean and has everything a couple needs. Both Mike and Sandy are exceptional hosts. The hot tub was amazing even with the wind. We walked the whole farm before we finally found the labarinth of love which we both enjoyed and and found symbolic of how love works. Thank you for creating this serene, tranquil and infinite space!

Loved the eco dome! It was very comfortable and had the most amazing views. Lovely to lay in bed and see the moon and stars at night. It was peaceful and serene and the perfect place to relax and get away. Would highly recommend!! And hosts Mike and Sandy were lovely and helpful😊

Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Very great views. Not quite a 5 star luxury resort, but makes a good effort to get there. Our guide Promise was very helpful and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to give us the sightings we would find interesting. Henry was also very helpful.

A cozy and boutique hotel format Safary Lodge facility, this is teh perfec place to enjoy the Safary in Nambiti Safari Game Reserve , just few rooms and confortable samll groups for the drives , with one in the morning and other afternoon. We had chance to see Lions, Cheetah, Elephant, Jirafes and Hipos … and more of them since the firs ride. Amazing personal Gude Lymon who take care of us. Restaurant and food amazing with variety and addaptability. Wifi avaible at main building where there are swiming pool and terrase .

What a perfect retreat. The staff were friendly and attentive and we were greeted by all staff by name. The food was delicious. The gin bar had a great selection and the game drives wonderful.

Breakfast was very nice- but at 9000 a night in presidential suite I would expect not to pay extra for coffee at breakfast. Location was nice. Staff very friendly. It felts like they were staff short Most days. Most luxurious lodges includes drinks too- everything here is extra. Henry is a champion- he does just about everything! Sia is a great game ranger- very knowledgeable!

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and offered lovely views of the surrounding gardens, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, attending to every detail with a smile. The location was perfect, offering a tranquil escape while being close enough to explore Plettenberg Bay's attractions. Whether relaxing by the pool or savoring the delightful breakfasts, every moment was a pleasure. I highly recommend Edenbrook Country Manor to anyone looking for a luxurious yet cozy getaway. A wonderful and very relaxing estate in the middle of nature. Very spacious and very clean room with a generous bathroom and a nice patio for enjoying a glass of wine. The estate it's surrounded by nature, which makes it a perfect place for relaxing but yet in a short car distance from the city of Plettenberg Bay. A very tasty and rich breakfast with a beautiful view towards the garden. The owners were very helpful, friendly, and open to giving lots of recommendations if needed. Highly recommended!

Nick, the host, went out of his way to make our stay with our baby daughter more comfortable. They even made her a special breakfast. The breakfast offers a wide variety and is tasty! It is well located between all the tourist attractions, Knysna and Plett. It was super easy to find as well as it is located next to the N2. If you are looking for friendly service, clean comfortable rooms with everything you need and large beautiful gardens ideal for kids to play on then look no further. And the grounds has cycling and walking trails too. The rooms truly has everything that you will need and many extras that we were pleasantly surprised by. Edenbrook Country Manor is a gem and it is definitely worth stopping at when you are in the area. Value for money is an understatement. I am looking forward to our next visit and to see the progress on the many improvements Nick is planning.

My mom and I needed a little time out, far from the Madding crowd… ECM delivered peace, quiet and tranquility, together with fresh air, the sounds of birds and whispering trees. We loved the expanse of the gardens and the feeling of being out in the country, yet in reality, just a short drive from Plett and Knysna made this place the perfect location for our sabbatical. Our rooms were comfortable, clean and had every we needed allowing us to just chill. It must be said though, by far, our favourite part of our stay, were the incredible breakfasts, prepared and served by our gracious host, Nick, he’ll deny it of course, but he has a way with food… honestly, the best 4 breakfasts I can remember eating. The staff were gracious and helpful, and the overall feel of the place, was home away from home, without any of the cares of home... I plan to return as often as I can.

This was easily the best cottage I have ever stayed at! The views are unbelievable! The cottage is well equipped and has everything you need. It is beautiful inside and out and very cozy and welcoming! I would love to return with my family.

We absolutely loved the location of this quant cottage. It is just far enough out of town to fully enjoy the tranquility of the region but close enough to town should you need to pop in for a meal or shopping. We loved the views of the mountains combined with the vast open fields. We loved being able to walk around on the property and explore the mind blowing views. The cottage is fully equipped and a pleasure to stay in. All and all it is just a gem of a place!

The location was perfect with access to lots of places to explore, shop and eat. The cottage is situated on the foot of some mountains and is surrounded by breathtaking views. The toiletries were stunning. It was so refreshing to stay somewhere with a decent hairdryer!!

Great location, close to Frankshoek and the main vineyards in the area. Beautiful quiet place with tasteful decoration and good sized ensuite bedrooms. Small sized pool to relax. The view is beautiful and the owners are very responsive.

We stayed in the tented camp and it was so comfortable, spacious and atmospheric. Every staff member was delightful, and the food was first class. A special dinner in the boma was magical. The game drives were the best we have ever experienced, with multiple close-up sightings on every drive. Our tracker and guides Zakes, Olivia and Lily were brilliant - knowledgeable, fun and always went that bit further to make every drive special. We left with memories that will last forever.

Amazing. Wonderful villas, service and layouts. We stayed in the villas ( blissful upgrade) and the little pool, sun lounger and showers were exceptional.

We loved our stay at Sugar! The staff were incredibly helpful with everything from dinner reservations to day trips and more; my husband left his cell phone in the taxi on our way to the airport and we called the hotel and they had the driver return to the airport with it - now that's service! The hotel location was great - a short walk to the V&A waterfront and walkable to central downtown. Lots of bars and restaurants within blocks of the hotel. The room was contemporary, spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious. We look forward to returning to Cape Town and staying at Sugar!!!

Very nice hotel in a safe part of CPT. The service was excellent. From check-in to check-out, I had a wonderful experience. The staff were super friendly and very helpful in answering many questions and arranging taxi pick ups. I would stay there again without hesitation. The only negative thing I would say is a about one particular person who seemed to be in charge of the restaurant. He had a bit of an attitude. I asked him if I can have lunch there one day at the restaurant and he wasn't happy about it. He reacted like if I asked him for the impossible. He immodestly suggested that I go somewhere else for lunch. Then again for dinner he was unfortunately the person who took my order. He made many negative remarks about the gay night life in CPT and kept refusing to serve me Rose wine which is my preference. I am not sure what his problem was but he certainly seems to be in charge. I think the restaurant operates separately from the hotel. And although the food was excellent and the staff were nice, that one person certainly left me with a bad impression. I would stay in the hotel again but will probably never go to the restaurant :)

Amazing stay at Sugar Hotel. The staff was just exceptional! Service was fabulous and friendly. Supermarket, restaurants and cafes are so convenient and it's less than 10 min walk to V&A waterfront , where all the main attractions are. Room and bathroom was super spacious , bed was so comfortable, excellent wifi. I would definitely go back to stay there again . Just a wonderful experience !

Sugar is a small hotel and the staff get to know you. They were very friendly. Someone was at the front door/desk 24/7. It is in a safe and quiet part of town, a $4 Uber ride to the Waterfront area. The breakfast was made to order and delicious. My room was small, however modern and very clean. They promptly responded to messages I sent them. I highly recommend staying at Sugar.

The hotel has been recently renovated. The rooms, ad especially the bathrooms, are spacious, modern and very clean. The staff are very helpful and congenial. The hotel is in a relatively good location within a 5 minute walk of many restaurants and bars, and about a 20 minute walk to the waterfront. Definitely a 5-star boutique hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights in July and absolutely loved every minute of it. We stayed at the presidential suite, which has a jacuzzi on the deck and indoor and outdoor shower plus indoor bathtub (relaxation to the max). What really makes this place so wonderful is the service and attention to detail. The staff are so happy, helpful and friendly, they all even learn our name. Our game ranger, Raymond, was excellent, making sure we saw all the animals we wanted to see. We were able to see 4 out of the big 5, plus cheetah with cubs! I cannot recommend this place highly enough, it is excellent in every way.

Very nice small and intimate safari Lodge. Beautiful views and lovely communal areas. Staff were friendly, attentive and did their best. Meals were ok, nothing to write home about. But these adventures live or die on the quality of the game drives and the wildlife viewing and in this regard we experienced the full range, from a STUNNING evening drive with a fantastic guide showing us lions, rhino, elephants and many others in close view, as well as other drives where we didn't see much and had a few technical problems with the vehicle.

Umzolozolo is excellent in every way. The lodge is extremely comfortable and the staff are beyond helpful and friendly. We saw a lot of wildlife during our game drives and our field guide was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. The rooms are also finished to a very high standard. I would strongly recommend this lodge to anyone.

For our wedding anniversary, we have been to Thonga bay lodge for some whale watching, snorkelled with sharks with blue wilderness adventures and ended it all with a Safari at Umzolozolo Private Safari Lodge, Exceptional stay, super staff, attention to details, homely atmosphere and mostly a professional Safari guide, thank you for a delightful memorable experience.

We had a great 2 night stay at UMZOLOZO. The Staff were. polite and gracious. We saw many species of birds and animals, all up close and personal.
