Very comfortable and beautiful place. We enjoyed our last day in Alsace in this place and I'm really happy about the selection. The room was very comfortable and we could enjoy the jacuzzi for an extra relax. We were very well received by Étienne, who was very kind and polite making our staying fantastic. Thank you!

Wonderful little hotel with restaurant in a beautiful old village north of Strasbourg. We came after check in time and Judit helped us with a pinkode and information about restaurants close by because we were too late for the restaurant at the hotel. We had a lovely, big room with a balcony towards the garden. The bed, cushions and the shower was perfect for us! There was a modern AC that made the room nice and cool but we didn’t need it for the night, we opened the window and got nice fresh air. The breakfast buffet was delicious. We could park our car for free just outside the hotel.

The hotel is truly charming and very cozy, with a distinct Alsatian flavor. The old farm decor has been renovated in an elegant contemporary style, but the old wooden beams preserve its original rustic appeal. The staff is very diligent in keeping the property impeccably clean. The breakfast buffet included eggs, delicatessen, cheeses, cereal and yogurt, as well as fresh fruit and a variety of bakery-fresh breads and cake. The service was perfect. We stayed in one of the « romantic » rooms, which was most comfortable and very quiet.

Nice little guesthouse with lots of character a bit north of Strasbourg in a quiet neighborhood. We stayed here because of the restaurant which is amazing. Gourmet French- pricey, but definitely a dining experience. The room was comfortable and quite spacious. There was a large tub with hand-held shower. The staff were wonderful- friendly and helpful. Our little dog was welcome and provided with a dog be and bowls for and additional 16 Euro.

The hotel is located in the nice village of la Wantzenau located a 20 minutes drive from Strasbourg. the hotel is very nice, small and quiet. Rooms are comfortable, water and coffee capsule are provided every day and the small chocolate adds a sweet taste to the experience. Reception is open from 7 to 20 but a number is available for emergencies or needs. I haven't called it tough. Staff is friendly and professional. I haven't tried the hotel restaurant that looks very good. I would recommend it to anyone having a car wants to visit Strasbourg from a nice and quiet small village in the French countryside. The village also hosts some good restaurants worth trying.

Great hotel, quiet area, 5 min from the tram station, which is 5 stations from the heart of the city. BEd very comfortable, free access to the pool and only 8,50 euros for other spa service (sauna, steam room, etc.). The service is excellent, there is a patio in the back for breakfast or just a drink. Restaurant is fine for dinner but a little pricey. All in all, very good choice to enjoy a quiet evening after an excursion downtown.

The hotel is very modern with pool and spa. Very comfortable room with large bathroom and very comfortable queen sized bed. Although the restaurant was closed I had a delicious salmon tartar delivered to our room. My Husband had a burger and beer deal in front of football on TV ( France v Belgium).

The Hotel Athéna was great. The room was clean and modern. The property is a little out of the way but the A and D tram line is less than a five minute walk. But the best part of my stay was the staff. They are the shining stars of this hotel. They were so kind and helpful no matter what I asked. They Helped me figure out what port my river cruise was leaving from. Found a currency exchange spot for me. Directed me to the pick up location for an excursion. They were so lovely! Thank you for making my stay with you so great!!!

The place is clean, and beautiful, the staff very attentive and kind, the spa is small but spot on. The room comfortable and good size, the jacuzzi fantastic. We loved it

The hotel is located in a peaceful area of Strasbourg. The room was spacious, and the reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. The in-room coffee-making facilities were a nice touch, and the jacuzzi bath was an appealing feature, we didn’t have time to use it, but it looked clean and inviting. The breakfast was diverse, delicious, and freshly prepared. The city center is within walking distance, though not right next door, about a pleasant 25-minute walk away.

What a lovely hotel, set in the quiet suburbs of Strasbourg just a short walk from the centre! The receptionist was wonderful and incredibly helpful when I arrived and made me feel completely at home. My room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, with the benefit of a little balcony to sit out on in the evening. Breakfast was delicious, too! I really didn't want to leave!

Wonderful place to stay in Strasburg, safe area and only two bus stops from old town District. Everything was spotless clean, we loved the little Spa area, which we had almost to ourselves in the morning. The hotel has lovely decor and a lot of greenery. In summer they also offer a spacious outdoor pool. The room was comfortable spacious and had a wonderful bathroom. Definitely a recommendation for a place to stay in Strasburg!

The location was excellent. Just round the corner from a lovely large park, quiet neighbourhood but only a 20 minute walk from all the attractions of the old town. The staff were very helpful. The room, shared areas and the pool were immaculately clean and well maintained and the breakfast provided a wide choice of options. We loved the restaurant recommended by the reception manager (Au bon coin d'Alsace).

Nice and quiet rooms (incl kettle), great bathroom. We even had a balcony. Great breakfast buffet. Staff is uber friendly and helpful. If you book parking garage they have a park service. But pretty narrow garage, so check with hotel first. Location is just a quick walk into old town away, some restaurants are close by, so everything was perfect for our one night stay. Would recommend.

The Hotel was modern, and very comfortable. Everything was clean, and the room was well equipped. The reception staff were super friendly, and helpful. There is a bar, with a nice area for lounging around or playing billiards. It was a short walk from the train station, an easy walk with a big suitcase. I would definitely stay here again, if visiting Strasbourg.

A delightful hotel with very friendly, welcoming, and very helpful staff. The building is a pleasant mix of old world charm with good modern facilities. Very well situated, being close to the central railway station and all the central amenities. Would definitely stay there again.

There was a certain amount of internal renovation work going on at the time of our visit, but this did not unduly spoil our experience. The room (on the first floor) was comfortable; with windows opening on to a sort of upstairs atrium. The only problem with this was that it didn’t feel entirely secure in terms of having windows open at night or when we were out. There were very effective shutters, however. For a corporate hotel it has a surprisingly “homely” feeling; even if the décor might not be to everyone’s taste. Certainly quirky; might annoy some people. We particularly liked it because someone had clearly put some serious thought into their choices. Easy access to the station, with at least one very good restaurant within easy striking distance, as well as easy walking distance into the city centre, and simple access to trams. Breakfast was generally good – though I would advise against the pickled herring. I was interested to note that a certain amount of corporate muzak was on offer on my first morning – albeit quiet enough to be ignored, whilst, on the second morning, either someone had forgotten to turn it on, or it had been turned off as a matter of policy. Either way, we were glad to be able to eat breakfast in peace and quiet.

Picture-perfect location with a historic building. We were surprised as to how modern the room actually was compared to the exterior of the building. The room was very comfortable and roomy. The bathroom was modern. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

We stayed here overnight whilst driving back to the UK. We were quite tired so it was really nice to get a warm welcome and and quiet room with no traffic or trains nearby! The restaurant on the other side of the car park is not officially part of the hotel but we had an excellent dinner - particularly appreciated the quality and service when the restaurant was so busy.

Clean, quiet location. Easy to get to Strasbourg by a tram which is only five min drive from hotel. Parking at tram station easy. Cost of all day parking and ticket for two of us to the city and back was only 4.20 euros. Breakfast was good, costs 17 euro and was worth it Nice and very helpful staff Big rooms

Fabulous design hotel with great bar, restaurant and terrace. The rooms are dark and dramatic with all modern amenities, the air conditioning could be fiercer but outside was 32 degrees so not too bad. Great shower pressure. The chef has amazing talent with lots of adventurous dishes. The restaurant staff seemed stressed. Breakfast was excellent too. Free access to the local outdoor pool was a nice touch.

Everything was perfect. The staff is very welcoming, polite and friendly. Breakfast and food were delicious. The room was modern and clean. Totally recommend to stay here.

We arrived a couple of hours before usual check in time to a warm greeting and our premium room was ready which was great. The room was exceptional , very clean and well presented with lots of space, a large and comfortable bed which we slept very well in and a good sized bathroom. The shower was in the bath and a slight struggle to use because of positioning.The room temperature controls were great, easy to use and actually worked very well. Apart from our neighbours who seemed to like slamming their door the room was really quiet and no disturbances through the night. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice and exceptional staff and the room was then the comfortable lounge bar for the afternoon and evening. All the staff were helpful and friendly and there was a really relaxed and comfortable ambience at the hotel.It was a great pleasure to return here after being out and the location right across the bridge from the central old town island was perfect. The history and layout of the hotel is fascinating and the approach through the outside courtyard is a real pleasure to experience. We noticed a couple of small group tours actually came to the courtyard to see the history and take photographs. We loved everything about this hotel and we really appreciate having had the opportunity to spend some time there. It will certainly remain in our memories as a special place and if you have the opportunity to stay there we highly recommend you do.

If you want to step far back in time in Strasbourg then this hotel will fulfill your fantasy. Built in a highly renovated (inside) (opened in 2020) Inn from the 16th century, the minute you walk into the cobbled courtyard (a bit of tussle with the roller bag) you will feel like you have stepped into another world. There are many rooms here and I think its best to reserve yours on the phone with reception to get the one you want (noting you have not seen them yet). Our room was a queen suite and while it was very nice and very comfortable it was a part of the building that seemed brand new and did not seem to be from the old building, but maybe it was, due to the large beams in the ceilings. This gave the room a bit of a sterile feel as the walls had nothing on them and the details in the interior construction were quite standard. Regardless, the hotel is dead quiet in the evenings and nightime so restfull sleep is assured. ! Breakfast was quite decent with large selections of hot (on order) and cold foods displayed in buffet. The courtyard quiet and serene, is a wonderful place to have your morning coffee and breakfast. The staff were exceptional did everything to make our stay more comfortable. The location is perfect in our opinion being just outside the crush of the inner city while being steps away from it. All in all staying here made our visit to Strasbourg a complete experience. We will definitely be back.

We also greatly appreciated the staff's courtesy and availability on all our requests. The breakfast was good with big variety of cold and menu with hot dishes if anyone interested, though we would appreciate more vegan options e.g., pastries, yoghurt, etc. The bed was super comfy and we had a great sleep, also with very quiet environment despite the central location. The hotel provide discount for the parking and various tours, which was nice. We also borrowed umbrellas and we could leave the luggage for a couple of hours with no problem. The marmalade greeting gift from the staff was a nice touch too! Definitely would recommend and will stay again if find great deals as it is a little pricey. There is no much really, but the internal beautiful courtyard probably need some refreshing touch as we were looking forward to to see its beauty, but found it rather lacking some attention/maintenance e.g., flowers and plants, etc.

A renovated historical building and a good quality boutique hotel. Central but quiet and peaceful location. The staff is friendly. We had a fast check-in and check-out. We stayed in a large room (prestige room) with two children aged 8 and 11. We liked the room decoration. The bed was super comfortable. We had a great sleep. We loved the breakfast. It is served in a room that can be considered small, but all the products are of good quality and very delicious. The hotel does not have a parking lot. However, there is a parking lot close to the hotel and they sent a detailed message to my phone about the location of the parking lot before our stay. Thanks to this information, we parked the car in the parking lot. We walked a short distance with our suitcases and easily found the hotel.

What a delightful small hotel in a lovely neighborhood of stately homes, next to a gorgeous park. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, helpful in making reservations and giving advice. It is about a 40 minute walk to the center of Strasbourg, there is a bus stop immediately in front of the hotel and we arranged cabs for about $10-$15 U.S. depending on traffic. We parked our rental car on the street safely, but did not use it at all due to the Christmas Markets. Very quiet, comfy beds, great breakfast for 22 euro. Wine and light meals available at night.

This is a gorgeous boutique hotel in a quiet location with equally beautiful equipped rooms and friendly staff. The room was spacious enough for two so we didn't feel like we were stepping on each other. It is located by Parc Orangerie, which is beautiful, and about 3 kilometers from the old town/la petite France, etc. (we walked a couple of times but also took relatively cheap taxis to the area when are feet had had enough). Sarah was outstanding and helped us with everything to include dinner recommendations, calling in taxis, setting up laundry service, etc. The breakfast was decent but the boulangerie across was way too inviting! I would highly recommend staying here!

A beautiful boutique hotel just opened next to L'Orangerie, what a find! A thoughtful and stylish renovation of one of the many large, original town houses in the area, quiet, well-appointed. Easy to get into the center by tram or bus or walking, but we appreciated the tranquility of the area and daily strolling in the park. The service really sets it apart -- warm, helpful with transportation, excellent restaurant recommendations & reservations, attentive 24 hours -- we're already trying to get back soonest. Really friendly team, luxurious, comfortable hotel. 35 minute walk from main town centre (we loved the walk) but very close to European Parliament and with great access to buses and trams. (only thing we didn’t like was overpowering smell from the lillies in the bar).

Wow!!! Lovely, modern boutique hotel with ECO ethos. Very friendly and helpful staff members who all took the time to speak to us. A very quiet, understated, modern vibe about the place. Close to train station and a short walk to everything else. Our room on the 3rd floor overlooked the station and had a lovely balcony. The room was modern and was a good size for a double. Super-comfy large bed. The air-con was AMAZING in 32°+ heat. Compact and bijou shower room with large double sized powerful shower.Amazing shower products too. Lovely public areas...bar, library, outdoor patio. All beautifully and tastefully decorated. The whole hotel was clean and well looked after. Breakfast was wonderful with all locally sourced and made in-house products. Lovely choice in the buffet. Gorgeous table settings and tableware. Still and sparkling water available on tap.

This is probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The location was perfect, just opposite the train station. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. The room was very clean, had a lovely bathroom with a range of very nice toiletries, had air conditioning , was well equiped, with nice decor and was very quiet. But the breakfast !!! It was sensational !! It was a buffet breakfast with a massive range of pastries, fresh cheeses, meats , fruits, coffees and juices. We would definately recommend a stay at The Tandem Hotel. !

Perfect for a family, but I could see it being perfect for a couple too. It was so central! You could walk to Little France, there were little cake shops on every corner, and the hotel itself was so modern and stylish. When we checked in, one of the staff members talked us through the area, gave us recommendations and drew them on a map for us, and was so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious - pastries, cakes, breads, eggs, fruit and coffee. We would definitely stay again!!

Extremely helpful staff, they allowed early check-in, gave us some free snacks at the bar when everything was closed, explained how to find the free parking near the border with Germany. Lovely people! The breakfast was delicious, usually I don’t eat pastries at hotels, but here they are so fresh and tasty, so I couldn’t miss it. Everything is made of local products and of a high quality. The hotel is very stylish, making it very comfortable to be here.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and we especially appreciated the air conditioning. The breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing and delicious. The hotel was so close to the train station.

Location is quiet and 15 min to centre by taxi. These are about €25/30 one way but parking in the centre is not so good so we used taxis for convenience. These Chateau is nice and in a park so lovely walks if you want. The Chateau had no lunch and dinner facilities when we went , but breakfast is very good. If you want to eat there are restaurants in the area in easy walking distance. If you have problems climbing stairs then make sure you book ground floor room if you can as stairs are steep and in a circle so tight. The rooms are spacious and clean with a huge comfortable bed. The toilet flush can be problematic as expected in a building this age but the shower has good water pressure so very refreshing after a hard days exploring. Then there is the Staff !!! I have travelled extensively around the world and I have to say the staff are the most helpful courteous team that I have had the pleasure of meeting in a long time. The reception staff need an extra shout out as they go above and beyond the call of duty. All in all I would recommend a stay at the Chateau and Strasbourg is a great place to visit. Cheers Jason

It was an extraordinary experience! The Chateau combines the experience of historical exploration and a cozy and peaceful stay. It was clean and tidy. The staff are super friendly and kind. There was an opportunity to park directly outside the room. There's a huge green territory to walk around or to have a romantic picnic. It is just 4 minutes away from the supermarket, or 15-20 min drive from the city center. Perfect location if you would like to have a wonderful and memorable stay, or simply to rest after a long drive. It's just 30 minutes away from German border. We hope to come back again soon!

Best stay in all of Europe. The staff was helpful and friendly. The adjacent park was great. Our room was perfect for us. Clean, comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. So many choices! Great coffee, too. Thank you to everyone at the Chateau!

great location next to ;e petite France, great choice of bars, restaurants and cafés within a short walking distance. despite how close we were the area was very quiet. a 10 min walk to the cathedral and opera house maybe another 10 mins from cathedral but taxis and trams also available, Staff were extremely friendly and attentive, always happy to help. we didn't have breakfast but the breakfast room looked lovely. good stocked bar, and lovely out door terrace seating area. from the outside of the hotel to the inside this hotel is just beautiful, very clean, large spacious rooms again all very clean and tidy.

The location is perfect, once you drop off your car with the valet, you are everywhere within a few minutes of walking. The staff was incredible and had great recommendation for a absolutely amazing dinner and arranged the reservation. The room was awesome (top floor) with views on the historical parts of the city. It was perfectly clean, comfortable and quiet. The service at the outside bar was impecable, friendly and made the lounge in the courtyard a perfect relaxing experience. I can only highly recommend the hotel it was an awesome stay. We will be back.

We loved our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the breakfast staff were so kind. We had massages in the spa and spent time enjoying the spa amenities. Our room was comfortable, clean and well equipped with everything we needed. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful, clean and quiet boutique hotel in the most perfect location. Walkable to everything. We stayed in room 10. Surprisingly large room with separate toilet spacious shower bathroom. Loved the rain water shower head. Nice view of courtyard on one side and schoolyard from the other. Would stay there again!

Beautiful old building in a fantastic location close to the old town and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent though perhaps a little expensive. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The terrace was quiet and convenient, although the bar serving drinks did not open until 14:00. I would recommend this hotel, with one word of warning - my room was on the top floor, originally an attic roof with sloping ceilings. The weather was in the mid-twenties, and the room was very hot. Also needed to watch my head on the beams.

We just spent 2 nights at the Lutetia in strasbourg and the hotel was absolutely perfect for our needs. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rooms spacious, clean and comfortable with all the amenities you would expect. The lobby is cozy and intimate. We did not have the breakfast but it looked varied and appetizing. It is located in a quiet residential area with good access to public transportation. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. An added bonus for kashrut observant guests : you can order kosher breakfast ahead of time . But we did not know about it so we took advantage of the many kosher restaurants located a very short walking distance of the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back on our next trip to strasbourg

Visiting Strasbourg at Christmastime is magical. And returning "home" after a day of museums and markets needs to be warm, relaxing, quiet, and close. Hotel Royal Lutetia offers all this and more. A mere 10 minute walk from Place Broglie, the hotel is especially convenient as transportation on the island is restricted at this time...i.e. at HRL, the taxi can take you to the front door! The staff does all you ask with a smile. Breakfast is substantial and includes eggs, meats, and cheeses in addition to more typical continental style items. My room overlooked the front street but all was quiet and dark when you needed it to be. Amenities included a room safe and a deep bathtub for soaking after a lot of walking. The beds were firm and comfortable. A coffee/tea service is in the room and you can also ask for something refreshing from the downstairs bar. I had my luggage held without problems at coming and going and spent m taxi waiting time in the decorated lounge. My traveling buddies stayed in the city center and were unhappy...and jealous! I will stay here again when traveling to Strasbourg! HRL is charming!

We attended a wedding in Strasbourg and stayed here for six nights. The location is ideal, less than 10 minutes' walk to the B tram at Parc du Contades. We stayed here because it is walking distance to the synagogue. There is a kosher bakery and several kosher grocery stores and restaurants in the neighborhood. The wi fi in the hotel is fast and excellent. We did not take the breakfast so cannot comment on that. The bed was comfortable. A few complaints about the bathroom: tiny bars of soap --- we bought a full size bar at a market; the shower door seemed to let water trickle onto the floor despite closing the door as firmly as possible; and the hair dryer had a small opening for hot air and after several minutes, the dryer became too hot to hold. The small refrigerator was perfect for our needs and we liked the in room safe. The closet had plenty of shelves and room to hang clothes. The staff was pleasant and taxis we ordered arrived promptly. The hotel offers 24 hour room food service.

We spend our Honeymoon in Straßburg and booked the Maison Lutetia because of its vicinity to the center and the good ratings in the web. Without asking we were upgraded to a very nice room in the 6th floor with our own balcony. The room was very clean, not big but nice and the bathroom was clean and nice as well. Breakfast for an additional 10€ per person offered a large variaty of ham, saucage, cheese, bread, croissant, eggs, juices, joghurt and more. Not a four or five star quality or selection, but solid and tasty. Also all the people at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We will come back again if we come again to Straßburg

Really helpful staff. Good response to emails. Stored our bikes for us and explained about the parking. Easy walk into the beautiful city centre and to the park. Room was really comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean . Breakfast was lovely fresh continental. Again the staff were friendly and helpful . Would definitely recommend this property.
