Great staff who made it an easy check in. We got a room with a jacuzzi. There seemed to be wax spilt in the jacuzzi which wasn’t visible until we started filling it with hot water. We decided not to tell them right away because it wasn’t a big deal to us. We told them in the morning and they seemed apologetic. I believe if we told them earlier they would have tried to fix it. Amazing staff. I would recommend here if you are looking for a nice calm spot with a nice pool.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The location is a little south of most attractions but, is a way more affordable than some of the resorts in the tourist towns. I don't prefer shopping at Wal-Mart but, it is literally right across the road, which is super convenient for just purchasing trivial items you may have forgot to pack, or items you need. Main highway access is very close. Sturgeon Bay has plenty of attractions and our stay was extremely comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable.

Staff very attentive and helpful. Clean rooms. Breakfast had warm selections, breads bagels, cereal coffee and the attendants kept everything up to date and filled. Room was quiet and had microwave and refrigerator . Would recommend to anyone traveling in the Sturgeon bay area.

This is a beautiful property. So quiet. My room had a balcony that overlooked the 18th hole. There was a restaurant in the hotel. The girls working the front desk are super nice and helpful. Hotel was clean and the breakfast provided in the morning was really great. Coffee was amazing. The location of this place was perfect too. We visited several beaches within a 20 minute drive.

Beautiful property and room. The most quiet room I have ever stayed in! Yorinda, front clerk was very helpful accommodating all our questions. The first evening, we arrived at dinner time and decided to try their bar/grill. I had a grilled burger with salad which was delicious. We sat on deck overlooking the golf course for a pleasant dining experience. The meal cost as little as a fast food meal. The room was sparkling clean and beds were very comfortable. Perfect spot to stay near Sturgeon Bay.

Friendly service! Very comfortable and clean room overlooking the golf course. So nice to have coffee and breakfast available at the lobby and a night cap at the pub bar in the evening.

The room was very clean and spacious with a balcony. The staff was very friendly. The two beds were very comfortable. Breakfast had nice choices. We will definitely stay again.

Very friendly staff. Room was nice like most i have stayed in before. The shower had hot water one day but would not get hot the next day. The sliding door to balcony would stick and was tough opening. They state they have a bar and grill. That would be the only thing i would say was bad there. I went to get a cheese pizza at 830and they were not sure if they had that but came back and told me they did which was great but what they brought me was the entire top of the pizza completely burnt and the crust under not cooked at all. Not sure if this went in an oven or how they prepared it to burn the cheese on top completely but not cook the crust of it so would not recommend the restaurant part but hotel was a nice comfortable stay other than those few things mentioned previously

Laura and Kevin are excellent hosts, and the hotel is maintained to high standards. The pool area was very clean and fully supplied with towels. The hottub was a great comfort at the end of the chilly days. There was excellent coffee available 24/7 and sufficient breakfast choices were provided.

Outstanding staff! Very friendly and responsive to every request , extra towels, room makeup request, early check in etc. Somewhat aging property but still nice and at agood price point. Loved the jacuzzi.

The property was well kept and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was pretty good at the hotel, they had a lot of hot breakfast options such as Belgian waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, and more. They had lots of breakfast snacks like fresh fruit (bananas and oranges), donuts, muffins etc. The staff was really friendly and helpful. When I arrived, Dan gave me good suggestions for places to eat and drink in the area and let me know about all hotel. Kayla was friendly and made breakfast every morning. The 24/7 coffee, hot chocolate, and tea was a nice treat was well. The room was fine, the king sized bed was comfortable and the heat and A/C worked. The pool was clean and the whirlpool was relaxing. The sauna was pretty small, I would say one or two people could fit inside comfortably. If you need to do laundry they have a small room by the vending and ice machine on the ground floor. You’ll need about $4 in quarters total for use of everything in the laundry room (washer, dryer, detergent, and fabric softener). All in all I enjoyed my stay here and I recommend staying here.

It was very clean and every employee was friendly and pleasant. There was always hot coffee or water for tea/ hot chocolate available which was appreciated. Other hotels we have been in have a unpleasant smell in the room but this property just had a fresh, clean smell. The breakfast that was available was more than adequate, it was delicious and plentiful.

Very clean. Breakfast was good. You are able to keep waffles, and they had cereal and donuts, and fruit which was nice. They had hot breakfast too. The pool was nice and clean as well. The staff was very friendly. Right near a gas station and a McDonald's and a Target, and it is a quiet area. We were able to get to downtown in less than 10 minutes driving.

The Lodge exceeded my expectations because of how clean and comfortable our stay was. The room had a jacuzzi tub (I was leery about using it but it was super clean), fireplace, a small kitchen area, and separate living/ sleeping space, private patio. The decor throughout is a bit outdated (think a cozy stay at grandma’s) but not important to me. Our stay included breakfast- with waffles, an omelette station (served hot & fresh made to order!), breakfast muffins/ cereal, yogurt/ granola, juice/ coffee/ tea. The property has a lively bar/ bar type of restaurant with similar food choices. The staff here were all very welcoming and friendly. They also welcome guests staying with pets as pet friendly rooms are available. (We stayed without pets and I didn’t see or hear one the entire time I was there.) The lodge is right across the street from water/ a small marina. The only negative is that there is no fan and the rooms aren’t very sound proof- hallway noise & noise from above is very easily heard. We had a group of women outside our room conversing/ laughing with disregard to their noise level in the hallway until late. A white noise machine/ fan can help with that.

We got a big suite after a snafu at another place, so our experience might be different. Suite was great with a nice balcony to sit and listen to the birds with coffee in the morning. Lodge was old but maintained. Clean, but needs paint. Everything worked. Bed was comfy, shower was great. Breakfast was terrific with made to order omelets and tasty scones.

We got booked at the last minute, so we ended up in a big suite with living room, kitchenette, a nice little balcony and a big king in the bedroom. All a bit old, but well maintained and clean. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was big and shower was good. Breakfast was included and had made to order omelets and tasty scones.

My husband & I loved this place. Beautiful view of the lake. Rooms were very nice & clean. Comfortable bed & pillows. Great shower. Fireplace, couches, and borad game area. Bartender--Willie AMAZING. Housekeeping very sweet. Tami--Server so nice and funny. Tiki bar so cute. We had the seared Tuna and it was very good.

Our suite was spacious and well maintained. Jacuzzi with jets was an amazing amenity inside the suite. The property consists of a few very charming Victorian style houses close to downtown sturgeon bay. Owners are very welcoming and hospitable, served us delicious breakfast each morning.

The owners have had a long track record of caring for their property. The Victorian theme was carried throughout the furnishings which were top notch. We stayed is a suite which included a jacuzzi, a bedroom, bath, and TV or sofa room. The ante room in our building had a Keurig coffee machine which was nice to use in the morning as well as an ice dispenser and a nice selection of all kinds of tea. The breakfasts in the morning were well-prepared and definitely a step above the usual breakfasts we were used to at your usual motels. The parlor room included a piano and a guitar for those that wanted to use them. The service staff was extremely friendly and helpful. A delightful stay!

Very quiet and relaxing stay. Room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Each of the four houses are restored and connected with a. It’s garden and outdoor area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast each morning was delicious. Coffee was special blend that made a coffee drinker out of me. The location was great within blocks of downtown shopping, dining, museums and farmers market.

They have 4 homes on the property and we stayed in the Hadley house and it is really nice. Our bathroom had a whirlpool tub and a stand alone shower. We had a beautiful sitting room with a TV. the bedroom has a king size bed with an Armoire. The house also has a kitchen to make coffee or tea in and a fridge and microwave. We really enjoyed the garden they have as it was beautiful. They have a fire pit to have a fire. They have another area just to sit and enjoy the outdoors. There is also a porch on the houses to sit and have coffee. The area is very nice and you can walk to restaurants to eat. It is very quiet at night to sleep. Martha the woman who works in the Inn and serves breakfast was the sweetest lady. I recommend making sure you choose the room you like off the website so you don't get something to small for you.

We stayed in the Hadley House on the first floor, Suite #16. It was a wonderful place to stay for 4 nights. We had a kitchen next door to use with dishes, silverware, and cups. There was a coffeemaker, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. It was nice to get ice there, coffee in the morning, and a place for leftovers. The suite was a nice size with a large bedroom and a King bed. The living room was comfortable with a large couch, TV, and we used the gas fireplace a couple evenings. The bathroom was large with a hot tub and a walk in shower. We walked through a beautiful backyard to get to the main house for breakfast each morning, and the breakfasts were delicious. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay there!

The location was great on the Bay. It was beautiful and quiet. We were happy to be upgraded from a room to a suite thanks to a couple who wanted to stay in the room we were supposed to have for another night. Patti upgraded us to a suite with a fireplace and jacuzzi tube which was great.

Great view kitchen is totally complete you don't need to bring anything The fireplace is great at night and early in the am. Good location mostly quiet the people downstairs were running the jacuzzi at 430 am and other things till 7am. That was irritating but it's part of traveling

We've been coming to the Bridgeport Waterfront Resort in Sturgeon Bay for more than 20 years. It is in the center of everything, Door County and Green Bay. The rooms are clean, well supplied with everything you need to prepare family meals and if it's not there, they have it at the desk. The people at the desk are knowledgeable and friendly. Pull down blinds, fireplace, jacuzzi, comfortable furniture, indoor pool and spa. This place checks off ALL our boxes!

Nice view even though we didn't have a waterfront view. Comfortable balcony area with a nice view of the pretty grounds. We were able to walk to the Maritime Museum and Sonny's restaurant. Room was well equipped with a microwave and small refrigerator. Room wasn't anything spectacular but clean and comfortable.

We had a wonderful time. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful view of the water. Staff was friendly. We have stayed at a few other places in Sturgeon Bay but Bridgeport is our favorite. We book our stay for January and have stayed here 6 times in the last 10 years. My husband and I are in our 60's and are accustomed to using the stairs and seldom use an elevator. There is one elevator and the halls are long. Our favorite room is at the far end of the hall so there is a fair amount of walking for us. Most of our favorite restaurants are in walking distance. Sonny's Pizza is next door. Get Real is 2 blocks away. This trip we tried the new Gloria's Mexican Restaurant, also 2 blocks away, we enjoyed our lunch. We also like to walk across the bridge to visit the Starboard Brewing Company and Trattoria Dal Santo, yum. Inn at Cedar Crossing also very good. Looking forward to next January!

We loved staying here. The location was amazing. Walkable around the city to grab coffee, food, get your steps in....we also were lucky with the weather. The property is somewhat outdated but clean and we loved the proximity to food. We got to sit in our balcony and listen to live music right next door at Sonny's - our room was facing it! Kids loved the pool options: outdoor, indoor, hot tub, and kiddy pool! It was amazing weekend and we will be back here!

We stayed two nights in a water view suite. It was lovely with a see through fireplace, jetted tub, full kitchen and of course a view of Sturgeon Bay from the balcony. It was so quiet! It was close to a museum that we took in and we ate at a very good restaurant for breakfast close by that was recommended from the printout sheet in the room. I highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to visit door county WI.

The owners are fabulous and so helpful during our stay. Not only were they very welcoming but so helpful when it came to attractions and locations that we should see and do during our stay. They were great at introducing the other guests to each other and the conversations around the table made it feel like home along with all the wonderful cozy features they offered to guests during their stay. The homemade breakfasts were amazing and filling to get through busy days of adventuring the county. Even though this location is located somewhat near the area of downtown, it was quiet and peaceful!

The breakfast was delicious and portion sizes were generous. There were many drink option available. Hot apple cider, tea, coffee, WI sodas, and cookies (and other snacks) were available all day. Areas outside of our room were comfortable and welcoming. Our room was beautiful, with period details, a whirlpool tub, two comfortable chairs, fireplace, and very comfortable bed.

The room was not very large, but very convenient. The entire interior is stylishly furnished and very clean. The breakfast was lovingly prepared and delicious. The owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We received great recommendations from them. I would rent a room there again at any time.

The best part of the stay would be the hosts, Karl & Janet. They are so friendly and accommodating. They go well above and beyond to assure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and are happy to share their wealth of local knowledge. Weather you have questions about vineyards, State Parks, town events, or you're looking for something in particular, they can share their personal knowledge with you, give some of the best directions, and have recommendations of other 'must see' places nearby. Their breakfasts and accommodations are 5 star all the way. The whirlpool at the end of a long day is amazing. The history of the Scofield House is also very interesting. You can arrive as guests, but will likely leave feeling as if you are friends, or maybe even family. Thank You Karl & Janet for making our stays so wonderful and memorable.

This was the first time my wife and I have ever stayed at a B & B. It exceeded our expectations! The hosts Karl and Janet go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. The passion and pride they have in what they do shows in so many ways. The house being over 120 years old is like a museum in it self with updated amenities. Breakfast was exceptional from the presentation to the variety and taste. They have set the bar on how a B & B should be managed. The location was a perfect home base to experience all of door county. Would not hesitate to book another stay.

We loved how spacious the room was and valued the privacy it offered with romantic touches of a jacuzzi tub and fireplace in the living area of the suite, as well as the comfortable king size bed! Breakfast was served at our door providing convenience and privacy again to eat in our own room together instead of a large dining area. We also had a second private entrance to our suite off of the main porch. Everything was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The inn keepers were welcoming and accommodating! We had an amazing weekend.

We stayed in the forget-me-not suite. Room was super clean. Nice little reading nook. Jacuzzi was amazing. Gabriel, the owner, was very responsive and helpful. Breakfast was great. Located near the water and next to Sturgeon Bay main street which has a lot of great bars, restaurants, coffee shops, etc...

Excellent breakfast served in your room. Soaking tub in room. Very peaceful and quiet area. Tasteful antique decorations. Coffee and homemade cookies at the door. A balcony to sit on and get fresh air. We also had a fireplace which we did not need to use for our visit but would be lovely in colder months. Gabriel was warm and welcoming and explained everything we could need.

The owners, Gabe and Allana, were welcoming and accommodating. Delicious gluten-free breakfast options and coffee/tea and treats left out throughout the day for weary travelers were added bonuses. Our room was comfortable, and the location was perfect for a walk or drive into town.

The facilities in the room were superb. We both had a great night sleep. The bed was roomy and comfortable. The shower was excellent. We could not work the hot tub / jacuzzi - I guess we should have contacted the owner bit we had bothered him enough.

We stayed in the Ambassador room, and it was absolutely beautiful! Very spacious, and we had everything we needed in the room. The bathroom was fantastic (the two person shower was probably as big as the rest of the bathroom), and there was room for everything. The whirlpool tub was great after a day exploring Door County, we spent an evening sitting around the coffee table playing a board game, the bed was very comfortable, the mini fridge had plenty of room, and our own Keurig was quite nice. The private rooftop patio was also nice. We spent a couple of mornings out there having our coffee and breakfast, while discussing our plans for the day. And the owners were great, too! I never met them in person, but they were in communication from the start, and always available. This is so much better than a standard hotel!

Our accommodation was clean and spacious. Host was extremely helpful and made us feel welcome. Great location in the centre of town, plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance and plentiful parking just across the road.

This was our 2nd time staying at the White Birch Inn. The rooms are really comfortable, warm and quiet. The food at the restaurant downstairs is great and it is a really convenient option for dinner. The staff are very friendly. It's a perfect base to explore Door County and such great value for money.

Nothing fancy, which is what I expected. Just a place to crash after long days of exploring. Staff is wonderful, bed was comfy, restaurant downstairs was convenient and tasty. Dog friendly and has a large grassy area so I could let my little guy burn some energy. My only complaint is the wall AC unit in my room was veryyy noisy. It woke me up a few times from vibrations/rattling. It kept me and my dog cool and comfy though so that is most important. I'd stay again next time I'm in town.

Our room was spotless, ultra, clean, and a taste of an earlier time. Not fancy at all. We just wanted a quiet place to sleep. In addition, we lucked out with a beautiful view of the birch trees upfront that were just beginning to change. Each morning the view got slightly more beautiful as the trees were changing.

White Birch Inn is amazing!! Truly the old school resort with all the modern comforts!! They helped correct the hotels.com reservation mistake (number of adults vs children) very quickly and efficiently. The on-site restaurant and bar was fantastic!!!! Delicious food!!

All of the staff members we interacted with were very friendly, attentive and professional! Our room had a view of the Bay, which was wonderful. The room was quite large and had plenty of nice, clean, and comfortable furniture. It also had a fireplace, which we used each night of our stay! The indoor pool and whirlpool were clean and well maintained, plus the workout room had newer and well-maintained equipment for guest use.

What a gen of a hotel! From the efficient check-in/check-out process each moment was delightful and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from our condo was spectacular. The condo was clean, quiet, very cozy with plenty of space and two balconies. The indoor pool was clean and not over crowded. The outdoors provides plenty of sitting and a couple of propane grills. The hotel has a very secure and safe environment. I will definitely recommend to others as well as stay again.

Spectacular lake views. Sunsets were beautiful. The condo was spacious and clean and very quiet. The bed was comfy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We decided to book a last minute family vacation before school starts and Westwood Shores met all our needs. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Door County. We stayed in the 2 room suite. Perfect for a family of 4. We had plenty of space. The full kitchen was great traveling with little kids. Separate bedrooms and bathrooms gave us some relief as parents. Sunset and sunrise from the balcony was super peaceful. I really got everything I wanted from this property to make both me and the kids happy. The indoor pool was lovely and a nice spot to be during sunset as you have a full view outside. We were there when the weather was a bit cooler, but the heated outdoor pool was nice and warm. There was a good outdoor spot for fishing. Front desk staff was super nice and friendly. Yvette checked us in and was great. My son managed to get some bee stings when he was fishing outside and the guy working the desk was a great help with Benadryl cream and neosporin. The free 24/7 coffee, tea, and hot chocolate was a godsend when traveling with little kids. Excellent stay all around.

Two things: We're from Colorado - land of year around tourism from reasonable costs to 'if you've got the $$$$, we'll give you an unbelievably good time" and my group was ages 20 to 63. Beach Harbor was very reasonably priced. The rooms were clean and more than adequate. The staff was friendly and ready to assist in making recommendations of things to do & see. From renting a jet ski, checking out paddle boards twice, and renting a pontoon boat - 100% solid!! Very impressed they required a test before renting the jet ski, very detailed instructions (person to person) in use of the pontoon. The fish boil is amazing to watch and really good to eat. I didn't eat anything but the fish boil and fried cheese curds (excellent and Colorado needs these!) but others in my group who did eat there gave the food solid 4 stars. Each person in the group found their sweet spot of fun and relaxation. Loved the dogs of the resort and those of the guests. Will highly recommend Beach Harbor to everyone heading to the area. Noting fancy but relaxing, fun, low key, PERFECT. Can't wait to come back.

The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Room fridge had a small freezer, which was helpful so we could refreeze our cold packs. The property had chairs facing the water, which was so nice; we sat and looked out at the bay as evening rolled in. It was a great asset to have Waterfront Mary’s restaurant onsite; we had friends meet us there for dinner and watching the Brewers in the playoffs. Basic bar type menu and a full bar as well. It was quite loud but we had a good time!! I appreciated they gave us the room close to parking as my relative was with me who is walking with a cane. They offered boats for rent, which I didn’t know in advance and it seems like a great way to enhance your stay.

We stayed in the upper apartment of this resort. This is actually a house which is part of the resort but about 1 mile away. You can still use the amenities like free kayak rental and paid Jet Skis from the actual resort which is at a small beach. Positives: 1. Clean upstairs of the house. 2. Had everything you needed in the kitchen including great coffee selection and utensils. 3. Quiet neighborhood. 4. Relatively newly renovated. 5. Generally clean 6. Incudes free Kayak rental. Can rent Jet skis and other equipment. Negatives: 1. Away from the actual resort. 2. The "resort" itself looks dated, Beach is dismal. 3. Unbelievably slow internet. Overall for the price could not have asked for better. We had a great time.

This property is cute and clean, and a good location. The bathroom was very clean and stocked, including a hairdryer. The beds are a medium firm and I slept good. The only quirk with the room is that the air heating and cooling unit was kind of loud, sounded like something was rattling around in there. There is a bar/restaurant in the same location which is nice. The seafood chowder is amazing!!! The only problem with Waterfront Mary's (the bar) was that bartenders were not very friendly, and the mixed drinks are pricy. Domestic beers are priced fairly. Overall, I will go back there again. They also have on onsite Fish Boil and access to the lake.

It is not a Four Seasons. What it is, is a clean, comfortable classic Wisconsin resort with an extremely friendly staff, and a terrific waterfront bar & grill with indoor/outdoor seating that welcomes canines, a bean-bag court, volleyball sand court, ping-pong table, and live music on week-ends. When we first walked into the bar, we saw a poodle sitting on a bar stool. I think I heard him order a Kir Royale.

I will say that i was a little unsure of what our stay would be like. I booked our room for a family vacation before I actually looked at the reviews. When I did look at them I was very concerned with what others had to say and I was unable to cancel our reservation. What I found when we arrived was better than I had feared. Our room was clean and nice. Nothing special, but as long as it was clean I was happy. It would have been nice if the pool was open, but we didnt need it. With a teen and a college student, they kept themselves entertained. You can tell this hotel is used often by construction workers simple because I think they drag in A LOT of dirt in the halls and stairs, which really need to be vacuumed and the carpet replaced. But, with the workers staying there, that meant it was very quiet at night and we had no issues with being disturbed. The staff was pleasant and the breakfast was fine. We were looking for a place to stay when were weren't out seeing the sights, not to entertain us and this worked fine for us.

It's not bad for an overnight stay. Room is clean by the naked eye. It seems they're not totally prepare our room. Because only 1 bath towel, no bar soap, no floor mat. Indoor pool closed under maintenance(dont know for how long-they should mention it in the website at least) Continental breakfast its fine...

This has got to be the most adorable friendly motel with exceptionally clean rooms and friendly ladies that made my stay enjoyable! I highly recommend this little quaint motel bc it's comfortable and has a kitchenette and comfortable beds! I can't say enough good about the establishment except don't waste your money going elsewhere.... Private entrance to each room and very quiet! Save me a room, please! I'll be back! The room was very clean and the kitchenette had everything needed for our weekend stay.The room updates and decorative touches were fun and made the space feel comfortable and inviting. It was quiet every night, even though the motel was nearly booked and many people had dogs with them. The water pressure was so good it was difficult leaving the shower! It was easy to get toiletries restocked when needed and the staff was always available and helpful. :0)

I loved how it had voyage charm but with updates rooms and amenities inside. Kitchenette was great. Microwave. Hot plate. Sink. Fridge. You could do some decent cooking in the room. The chairs outside the door to the room were a nice touch. Sturdy lawn chair style. Plenty of room to drive in parking lot when coming onto the property. Friendly and accommodating staff were helpful. Very comfortable beds. Clean and updated bathroom with charm. Great value for the price.

The cutest motel in the area. This was our second time staying in any kind of motel, so we weren't expecting much. I was impressed by the appearance and cleanliness of the space. The staff was also very friendly and knowledgeable. The half kitchenette was a plus. It was stocked with things such as silverware, plates, colander, pans, etc. The area is pretty quiet, which we enjoyed. My children enjoyed eating breakfast at the pull-out table, watching TV and jumping the beds. This is a good option was returning back to the Sturgeon Bay area.

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful motel for the first time this past weekend. I cannot say enough good things about this gem of a place! The vintage decor of the lobby and rooms made me feel like I was experiencing parts of my childhood all over again. Everything had such a fun, nostalgic, comforting vibe! The beds and toilets were modern though, so we were able to enjoy the vintage vibe, but with modern comforts. The room was THE most spotless, clean room we had ever experienced!! I cannot give enough kudos to the housekeeping staff of this motel. The owner of the motel was warm, friendly, and so welcoming to us. She also has an adorable little dog that we enjoyed meeting ("Toad"). This is not the motel to go to if you want an indoor pool, fitness center, or oversized whirlpool tub, as this motel does not offer these amenities. However, if you want a great deal, a sparkling-clean room, a friendly welcome, and everything that you *really* need, this is the place to go. Thank you, Holiday Music Motel, for a great stay. While we are building our home in Sturgeon Bay, you can best believe that we will return. We will also be highly recommending you to others.

We stayed in a room with 2 beds on the 1st floor for 2 nights. First night was scheduled through expedia, and 2nd night directly with the hotel's online website. Both processes were easily done. I did have questions about my reservations, and the hotel staff are helpful in answering any questions. Upon check in Melaniejane was the receptionist. She was very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. The building and grounds are well cared for. Our room housekeeper was a kind, attentive lady named Jenny, who did a great job on the room. The beds and pillows were comfortable, room had a tv, coffee maker, hair dryer, and bathtub. An ironing board is available outside the rooms, and set up near the common area, where an ice machine, microwave and regular dishes are able to be used as needed. A bin is there for dirty dishes, which staff will wash for you. The hotel room has the most well typed, well put together, descriptive, updated binder I have ever seen for a hotel room. Policies, tv information, emergency numbers, detailed information on where to eat, play, and stay in Door County. I had no questions about anything else after reading through it. Another thing in there i liked was reading about all the songs that were written at the Holiday music motel, some songs were written in the very room we were staying in. If you are in Sturgeon bay on Thursday night, the tambourine lounge next to the hotel has a writers night where artists come and play songs. We will be back.

Cute, quirky and clean! I didn't think quality family owned motels existed anymore, then we found The Holiday Music Motel. So many little details kept this retro decorated place comfortable and up to date for this century. (like motion detector for the bathroom light for us night risers}. As seniors, we don't usually book a hotel that has a shower over tub combo, but the tub threshold was low enough, the grab bars were in the right place and the tub bottom had a surface that was non slip. We had old fashioned keys on hotel key rings and that was a fun bit of nostalgia. Plenty of outlets for charging devices. Larger closet than is seen in modern hotels. Tons of artwork done by local artists. Very convenient location.

If you are looking for a no frills, quiet, and very retro motel, this is it. The room was clean, comfortable and very 1960's. I also liked the shower head with several adjustable settings. The glasses on the table and the wine bottle opener were a nice touch. The place just has a neat, throwback feel to it. It also had a small outdoor fireplace if you like to do that sort of thing at night. The front desk was very friendly and accommodating. Something I thought was really neat was the room has the normal motel binder, but it was also full of menus for at least a dozen local restaurants. I was here alone on business, but I wouldn't hesitate to come back here with my spouse for a few nights.

Our 3 night stay was absolutely fabulous!! I love unique style motels with a history.. and holiday music motel is exactly what I was looking for and more!!! The moment we entered the lobby I was walking down memory lane to my childhood. Loved it!! Melanie checked us in and upgraded us to a little larger room which was very much appreciated. She was Soo pleasant and helpful throughout our stay suggesting restaurants etc. The room was darling. We wanted for nothing. Beds were comfy. A/c worked great. Coffee frig and even clips to keep the drapes closed for darkness. Location is perfect to walk to town and enjoy a beautiful sunset on the bay. Thank you. We are already planning a return visit!
