I liked everything! The parking space is so convenient The reception staff is so welcoming and very well trained. We were checked-in and checked-out by two apprentices: I am not sure they are apprentices only though. You guys need to hire them as soon as possible! The health center is another level! Amazingly beautiful. You can come out from the pool with a totally positive mood. It is very convenient for couples (warm water, jacuzzi spaces, breath-taking view, calm). It is also very clean. In the night, we were late on dinner time. When I informed a waiter in the hotel restaurant that I just need some bread so we can eat something before we sleep, he said that he will try to get me sandwiches from the kitchen, and he certainly did get me 2 sandwiches so we don't sleep hungry! That was way over my expectations. The breakfast was also so generous. The village of Charmey is in itself so relaxing and the location really helps you to relax and recharge.

A Perfect Stay Surrounded by Nature and Relaxation We stayed at this hotel to enjoy not only the beautiful natural surroundings but also the amazing spa. We had already visited the spa before, but this time, we decided to stay overnight – and it turned out to be an excellent idea! Unlimited access to the spa was a great bonus, and the tunnel connecting the hotel directly to the wellness area made everything so much easier. No need to worry about changing – bathrobes, towels, and slippers were all provided, allowing for complete relaxation. We especially loved the thermal pools with stunning views, the cozy atmosphere, the attentive staff, and the live music in the bar in the evening. The breakfast was also worth mentioning – delicious and with a great variety of choices. We would definitely love to come back!

Very good Hotel. Clean, comfortable, quiet rooms, the breakfast was very good, there is a large selection, there is also gluten-free bread. The staff is kind and helpful. The tunnel to the thermal bath is cool. The thermal is very good, big, not so crowded. There are many places for excursions around the hotel. The town has its own tele cabin to the mountain with a nice view. So absolutely recommended, we will return.

Spacious and very clean room, very friendly staff, the hot pools were awesome, very tasty breakfast and dinner, the kids loved the VIP cards for free chocolate . Good location, not far from Gruyere old town, the chocolate factory in Broc and some beautiful nature spots. The music playing on Sunday was very nice. We would love to stay there again!

Love the thermal bath that is directly connected to the hotel and the bathrobe/towels/slippers provided for use in the thermal bath. Huge and comfortable rooms as well with a good view at the balcony. Delicious spread for breakfast, especially the fresh honey comb and smoked salmon, and of course their chocolate products.

My family of five (teens and grandparent) loved the Bellevue Hotel. It's excellent for families. 1. The location was fantastic - short walk to train station but not too close, in the center but a little on the edge so quieter and close to different neighborhoods in Interlaken, while near all the restaurants, shops, etc. 2. The wonderfully kind, considerate, and professional young staff -- they called and made lunch reservations at the Strand Hotel for me (Crash Landing on You), always asked us how we were doing, were friendly and welcoming. 3. Our family room and single room had delightful balconies with both views of the beautiful river and Jungfrau! 4. The family room was fabulous: door separated the two rooms, very spacious rooms, very spacious and modern bathroom with two sinks, good shower. 5. Great A/C 6. Delicious and lovely breakfast room and breakfast buffet - just get the breakfast - it's worth it. 7. Convenient parking if you have a car (just across the street). 8. Elegant and charming hotel lobby and rooms. 9. Smaller hotel but not tiny, with plenty of amenities. 10. Sweet lounge with bar (both indoor and outdoor) -- great to watch soccer games, delicious local wine and beer, and appetizers. Sit and enjoy wine and a cheese plate one evening when you're staying here. 11. Good internet. Thank you for a truly great stay. We were sad to leave. Jenny

Had a wonderful stay in Hotel Bellevue. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Check in was seamless and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable but the highlight was the balcony overlooking the river with a stunning view of the river and mountains, the perfect backdrop for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was good if somewhat expensive. Location wise - ideally situated within short walking distance of town, restaurants and train station. Every member of the staff—from housekeeping to management—was professional, friendly, and eager to help. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Highly recommend staying here, especially the rooms with river views.

We spent 2 nights at the Hotel Bellevue. It's a great hotel The location in Interlaken is perfect as it's along the river and an easy 5 minute walk to the Interlaken West Train Station. The rooms we had were perfect (we had the Boutique Double Garden View). Very spacious and the bed was comfortable, it was also very quiet even being close to the train tracks. Our room overlooked the river and had a patio where you could enjoy your morning coffee. Check in was easy and the staff friendly. They offer umbrellas in case of rain, which came in handy during our trip. Our room came with breakfast, which was delicious and well appointed. The bus system in the city makes it easy to get around and your stay comes with a public transport card to use so you have free access. Overall I was very happy with the Bellevue Hotel, and would stay here agian.

Absolutely wonderful 5 day stay here. The hotel has an interesting history as a health spa and the location makes obvious why. The views from the hotel are restorative alone! The rooms (make sure to get a lake view) are comfortable, spotless and well equiped. Staff were lovely - friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and all made with health in mind (but that dosnt mean it is boring!). The Spa is luxurious and well equipped. Treatments (massage) was professional and excellent. Yes, the road up to the hotel is winding and not for the feint hearted or novice driver, but adds to the experience! We had a super, relaxing and comfortable stay here. One minor point though, even though nearly everywhere in the hotel is spotless, they seem to forget the corridors. There were stains on the carpets all week and the corridor didnt seem to be even vacuumed in the time we were there. Also, there were smudge marks in the lift all week that hadnt been wiped off. Minor points in an otherwise perfect experience.

So we arrived and checked in to a room with a garden view. This room was clean, pleasant but felt just like every other premium hotel experience. There is nothing special about these rooms and I would recommend you upgrade to a balcony (lake / sea view) room. We went straight back to reception and upgraded. The sea view rooms are bigger with a large balcony which was impressive, the views however are amazing. The spa is lovely and the food in the restaurant for the half board was good.

The view on the lake from the hotel is amazing. The hotel is extremely dog friendly our furry family member felt very comfortable. The restaurant staff is very nice and helpful. We enjoyed a romantic dinner with our dog on the lake view terrace. Hiking around in the area was beautiful.

Just about everything. The property has been described as 'old-fashioned'. I would suggest that 'timeless' might be more appropriate; lovely wooden panelling doesn't age. Our room was large and with a beautiful view over the town square and a bathroom with a large, corner Jacuzzi. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, though few spoke much English and my Italian (the first language of many of them) is completely non-existent. Nevertheless, with a bit of give and take - and quite a lot of laughter - all went well. The restaurant, which I may review separately, was superb.

I loved staying at Hotel du Pont. The hotel is right in the centre of town next to a rushing stream. It's a classic traditional Swiss town hotel. Dinner in the restaurant was wonderful (I had the venison) and the restaurant, obviously a favorite for locals as well as guests, is a bustling, happy place for dinner. Breakfast the next morning was personally laid out for me - again the breakfast room had a pleasant 'buzz' to it. My room overlooked one of the main streets in town, ideally situated. I was on a bicycle trip and they let me store my bike inside next to the restaurant- very convenient.

On a recent business trip this hotel was my choice in Brig. Brig is a small destination; midway between Geneva and Milan by rail. A good place to break a rail journey; also a great place for a walking holiday in summer and skiing in winter. remember that this town is basically German speaking. If you normally converse in English get into the habit of using German or French. What I liked the most was the charming staff who did speak English; she was delightful and helpful. The Swiss produce excellent red wines - Dole des Monts for example. Here in Valais try to sample the red and white wines - you'll be surprised at the excellent quality and these wines are seldom available outside of Switzerland. The hotel is very warm and friendly in nature and very comfortable for any stay. It's easy to find as you basically walk up from the station for 10minutes along Bahnhoff Strasse through the leafy shopping area to a cobbled plaza adjacent to the river. The biggest problem is the noise of the river - I kid you not! I ate far too much but every mouthful was a pleasure. The breakfast is continental with cheese, bread, honey, jam, coffee, tea, chocolate and ham if you want it. There is plenty of food here - don't be scared you will not go hungry. The rooms are large, twin beds, good bathrooms and plenty of hanging space for clothes. Nothing was too much trouble for the host here. You will enjoy staying at Hotel du Pont

Our stay in Ascona definitively lived up to our expectations. We were very warmly welcomed by the Hotel staff, who spoke all Swiss languages perfectly. He kindly showed us some tips and recommended areas to see, was constently tending to our every need and most importantly, the staff was smiling and made us feel at home. Rooms were very clean, simple and modern, and we had the huge balcony at the top floor which had a beautiful view. We have to say the hotel is most probably the best value in town. Additionally, having a bus stop to Locarno only 1 minute away, a supermarket even closer and the lake 5 minutes walk away. This Hotel definitely was perfect for our stay. Very friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable room with lovely en suite bathroom, great shower !! The location was ideal. I can recomend to anyone staying in Ascona, especially if you are attending a concert at the Jazz Cat Theater, as I was, it is only a five minute walk from the hotel

Very clean - cleaner twice per week including bed turn down. Good shower. Comfortable bed. Hotel manager Sabrina on WhatsApp and quickly replied to any questions or issues. Easy check in and two click check out online. Separate to hotel but in the basement is a super Italian restaurant, Assaggio. Great food and lovely staff. Ate there several times during my 32 day stay. Super hotel. Heartily recommend. Just one note - it is a business hotel so you cannot register that address with Feusisberg Gemeinde for Swiss registration!

My husband and I arrived at this hotel after a major hike around Mt. Blanc. We were worn out from treking 100 miles through the Alps. This hotel provdied a wonderful antidote to our fatigue. The Grand Bellevue is beautiful -- the main building is not the standard prolific Swiss Chalet -- with a lovely park in the front. It was renovated recently by the new owner whose wife, an interior designer, has gorgeous taste with a penchant for both elegance and whimsy. The furnishings are somewhat traditional but with intriguing modernist touches.The welcoming public spaces are quite roomy yet intimate. The spa is fantastic and very large with many different steam baths and saunas and a spectacular swimming pool with accompanying jacuzzi. The jets on the jacuzzi were incredible. By the end of the week, I almost felt ready to walk the Alps again! Many massages and other treatments were available. The gym was well-equipped and there was a Pilates studio with first rate equipment also as well as a very large relaxation room with recliners and individual water beds. The main restaurant was wonderful. I believe it has a Michelin star. Dinner was amazing but breakfast (which was included in the room rate) was absolutely fantastic. The best thing about the hotel however was the incredible service. The guest is made to feel very special and catered to immediately upon his or her appearance. I only wish I had more space to praise all the wonderful amenities. I would return in a heartbeat!

It is not a hotel, it is home. The people there treat you like you are one of the family or owner of the room. From the entry olivier will welcome you and give all the support you need. Then the front desk will finalize all your paper and you will enjoy the room. Room size is very big and it is very clean and comfortable. Then you go to the restaurant, the chef Francisco is fabulous he will treat you like a king. The spa is deferent story, it is very big and you have multiple choices of steam room and sauna and outdoor Jacuzzi. Then hotel shuttle is also amazing they have Aston martin available to droop you to locations near the hotel. The hotel is superlative on all counts -- impeccable service, attentive staff, beautifully decorated facility, ultra-luxurious spa. We were met at the front door by a staff member who knew that we had booked that very day. During our check-in, we were offered an incredibly refreshing tea. Charmingly unstuffy, the hotel is beautifully decorated. The reception and quiet rooms filled with plush sofas and chairs invites guests to relax. Our guest room had an exceedingly comfortable mattress and bedding. The espresso maker was a lovely touch and the balcony. . . Time spent at the spa, a joy. . . Top notch on every count. We also ate dinner at the restaurant, where again the personal service was impeccable. The owner and manager is particularly charming, giving all his guests personal attention. Loved it!

Literly Everything. The location is amazing a few mins from the shopping promanad, amazing interior, very very amazing staff special thanks to the manager, reception, and door/valet staff. The room is very spacious beautiful view with fresh flowers also!! AMAZING SPA!! All the bathrooms are with electronic systems!

We had a fantastic time at Las Rahas Chalet with our family. The chalet is fully furnished, beautifully maintained, and has everything you need—including a complete kitchen with all utensils and appliances. The location is excellent, with easy access to a supermarket, local coop, and a nearby bus station, which made our stay incredibly convenient. Perfect for a peaceful getaway with all the comforts of home. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free stay.

The chalet was perfect for our group of two families. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, clean, and well-stocked with amenities. The staff is so kind and welcoming and available either in person or by phone if you need anything. I highly recommend the Chalet des Rehâs and would love to return!

Very coordinated staff, great room With jacuzzi +see view and very relaxing swimming pool !

Nice stay ! Friendly reception and staff at the restaurant, speaking perfect french. nice room with terrasse and jacuzzi! There is a coffee machine in the room which was a highlight. The bed was so cozy and we slept very well! There were cozy bathrobes and slippers too. Breakfast was very nice, with delicious croissants and bread. We enjoyed our stay!

The view from the room was simply amazing, couple that with the jacuzzi that slides outside on the terrace where you can enjoy the view and you are onto a winner! The bed itself was really large, perhaps the largest bed I've slept in, so me and my friend could comfortably sleep without getting in each others way. Parking is free and separated via a barrier, so only guests of the hotel can use it. They also have a separate parking spot for electric cars/plug in hybrids.

there was nobody available at night to complain about very noisy people next door that did not settle down until after 2 am. Swimming pool was not completely remodeled. Jacuzzi was closed for remodeling. Guests were required to pay for coffee pods to make coffee in rooms. Guests were required to pay for Billiard table. No refrigerator in the room - we needed it to keep medicine cool. Location was good - we had a rental car. Mountains' views are excellent.

Hotel heet 2 restaurants een gourmet en een bistro beiden waren heerlijk. Alleen vondt ik het bistro restaurant iets benauwend ivm erg laag plafon en weinig ventilatie en als iedereen aan het vlees of kaas fonduen is wordt hette snel warm. Erg hond vriendelijk hotel en meteen op het hotel terrein starte er een aantal wandelpaden . Ben echt benieuwd hoe het in de zomer is komen zeker nog eens terug .bijna vergeten de suttle service erg gemakkelijk

It was an absolutely unique atmosphere, a hotel that is a village. The rooms were wonderful a feeling of being back in time combined with quite modern luxury. Last but not least, everyone was incredibly friendly and above and beyond helpful making our trip perfect from day one.

Located in Sporz, just above Lenzerheide... Surrounded by an incredible nature with breathtaking views on mountains and valleys! Incredible hotel composed by several typical chalets refurbished with all the modern comfort and a cosy atmosphere. Staff is really nice, available and helpful in every situation... Spas is totally worth it. Little extras: free shuttles that will take you on the ski slopes and a free “goûter” for after ski! Great stay, I will definitely come back!

We added breakfast and dinner at the hotel, both of them were excellent (breakfast: freshly baked bread and pastries, good selections of cheeses, they make good coffee too. Dinner: prefix 3-course, good portion of appetizers, main course with local fresh ingredients, and delicious deserts) and convenient for us. Waiters and Front desk staffs were friendly and very helpful. Our stay came with visitors card, we enjoyed free rides of buses and cable cars. No need to buy tickets at each ride was Very convenient. Cons: Bathroom hot water was too slow to fill the tub, water pressure was not as strong as other hotels we stayed in Switzerland. No fan or window in bathroom, so it can be steamy hot after someone takes a hot shower. The Doors was a little dangerous, it was hard to close, also it can hit other door when someone opens bedroom doors at same time.

Excellent choice for a ski holiday. Gondola and ski rental is a 2 min walk from hotel. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Feels like a well managed, family-run hotel. Breakfast exceeded my expectations and the restaurant staff were kind and efficient. Dinner was delicious. Hotel is a lovingly cared for, older (part of the charm), European 3 star hotel. St Moritz is expensive. Great choice if you’re not chasing the glitz dragon. Area is quiet, but well connected via local bus - which were frequent and easy to get around, including to/from the train station. If you need a little glitz, walk 3 min to the Kempinski for their upscale bar or dining.

Wonderful hotel to stay at in St. Moritz. It is on the edge of the city, but honestly the city is not that big. It is about a 20 minute walk from the train station (or you could take the public bus). The staff were very friendly. The hotel restaurant was very good, although the "dinner" times were a bit confusing. Dinner goes from 7-9pm. But we couldnt figure out if we were supposed to be at the table at 7 or could arrive later. The town is quiet in the summer and dining options were not abundant. The room was large and clean. We had a great view of the mountains and hillside. If staying here in the winter time, you could easily ski in/out from the hotel.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed by all the members of the staff. Everyone was so friendly. Eliza was very helpful with directing us on where to go and things to do. The wait staff were friendly and happy. The hotel was charming with a mix of traditional and new. The room was impeccable and clean. We had a beautiful view of the river and mountains right outside our window. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The whole experience was perfect and the kindness of the staff made it even better.

Fantastic stay at Hotel Nolda! The location is unbeatable—right next to the Signal gondola, making it incredibly convenient for hitting the slopes. The food was absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend opting for the half-board option or at least trying dinner for one night. What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional staff. From the kitchen to the reception desk and even their online support, everyone was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Highly recommended!

We had a spacious 2 bedroom accommodation - perfect for a family with 2 kids. All was well cleaned and ready even though we arrived a bit early. Kids loved the outdoor jacuzzi :) beds were very comfortable.

The staff was incredible. Beautiful views from our balcony. The included spa had a steam room, jacuzzi and sauna which we fully enjoyed. We considered staying another night after we saw the room for the first time! We would definitely recommend this hotel for an enjoyable stay.

Hotel was great, service was very nice, and accommodating. Would be great if the shuttle offered service to the ski lifts, but I don’t know if any hotels in Zermatt do that. Would have also been nice to have slightly larger sauna and jacuzzi.

Overall a very good stay. As previous commentators have noted, the breakfast is noteworthy. With the owners and family living and active on site, this is a bed and breakfast and not a hotel. This may suit some guests but not all. The rooms are well designed with a nice balcony and plenty of hanging space, though some may dislike the open bathroom arrangement. This is purely subjective. The wellness area is of high quality with a good sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, though it can be busy during peak periods. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

My wife and I stayed here during our honeymoon and had the most incredible experience. We got the Burgenstock Boat across Lake Lucerne and then the Funicular up the mountain. We were kindly escorted to our Executive room with Panorama view (to which we were very kindly upgraded to for our honeymoon by Andreas). The room was beautifully furnished with an incredible view over the lake and mountains. The fireplace was a great addition and was also visible from the bathtub. The bathroom was large and spacious with excellent amenities. There was a huge variety of options at breakfast and the food was delicious. We were made a customized fresh juice by the cheerful Giudetta which was amazing. The view from breakfast is also incredible if you get a seat by the window. What we enjoyed most about the hotel were the amazing spa facilities including the infinity pool (which is heated). My wife loved the fact that you could go into the outdoor infinity pool and then back into the heated indoor area without leaving the pool. There were also multiple other areas to enjoy and we loved our cacao and honey body scrub. All in all, this was the most amazing hotel we've experienced and we can't wait to return!

Beautiful place to stay. It has big big bath tub, small fireplace in the room. Facilities were great. infinity Spa pool, cinema, furnicular, ice skating, tennis etc. Perfect experience! Only negative thing i could say is the food. Breakfast buffet is great, Asian restaurant was okay except the sushi roll(not fresh and rice is dry) But the french restaurant was way to slow and not that good. we had two course for 2 hours. different from other part of hotels, this restaurant staffs werent very friendly and so slow working and i was falling asleep during the meal, waiting for the main dish. we were seriously scared to order dessert.

Nach wie vor ein hervorragendes Resort in tollem Zustand. Das Frühstück ist als exzellent zu bezeichnen! Da wir bereits seit Jahren kommen, kennen wir auch die nach unserer Meinung „besten Zeiten“ der Restaurants. Leider sind während der Wintersaison viel zu wenig Restaurants offen - das waren in dem Fall nur 2 plus die Bar in der Lobby. Wir waren nicht die einzigen Gäste, die nicht unter gebracht werden konnten. Dies war sehr ärgerlich, da es sehr beschwerlich ist nach Luzern zu kommen. Die dortige Auswahl an Restaurants ist ebenfalls nicht gut. Leider hat auch die Qualität des Essens stark abgenommen, insbesondere im Restaurant Oak Grill, das Restaurant Spices kann aktuell auch nicht recht überzeugen. Wenn die Restaurants wieder bei alter Qualität sind, ist aus unserer Sicht wirklich alles mit 5/ 5 Sternen zu bewerten.

Our stay here was one of the best weekends I have had. The room was so beautiful, very clean, and with amazing views. The staff were so welcoming and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble and the atmosphere was extremely relaxed. The Alpine Spa was wonderful and the time spent in the Spa massively contributed to our lovely stay. The scenery was beyond beautiful and the walk up to Europe's tallest lift was extremely scenic. I would so highly recommend a stay in this wonderful resort

My friends and I came to Bad Ragaz for my Birthday celebration and it was the best decision I've made! We spent there 2 nights, and obviously it was not enough! The Spa is huge, saunas are amazing, the view and location are magical. Breakfast al card so delicious and elegant. The stuff is so helpful, friendly and nice. We had two dinners, one in 'Memories' with 3 Michelin stars and it was not just a dinner, it was such a beautiful experience The second in 2 Michelin stars 'Igniv' very special and interesting as well I regret we couldn't stay longer

Comfortable room and particularly comfortable bed and pillows (which normally cause issues the first night away from home). Excellent choice of breakfast to accommodate all tastes and needs and the staff at the breakfast restaurant were very attentive. Excellent choice of hotel spa and Tamine thermal spa (which gave access to all areas).

The property is very well maintained and in a beautiful surrounding. We had grand deluxe rooms which were spacious and with comfortable beds. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and with the choice of 2 restaurants we could sample different cooked dishes.

- Breakfast was exceptional and best part I think (range of options, freshness, quality, settings with view outside, large seating area) - Porters excellent and very friendly courteous - Spa area great, room very big (great pillow options for added luxury and optionality) - Testing of swimming pool water gave assurance of hygiene being reviewed

Such an amazing boutique hotel! The service was excellent, staff really friendly and the hotel had beautiful decor with all little details. Loved the spa department with outdoor jacuzzi and our room with sauna and large bathtub, amazing! Also you must have a fondu dinner in the romantic igloos in front of the hotel. Our stay was so relaxing and dreamy, definitely coming back!

The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful at all times, the room was lovely, steam room and sauna in the room were a plus, even though you have them for free in the hotel spa. From start to finish. This hotel was a dream. Everything you see is what you get and a bit more. The staff were all so lovely and polite. They made an extra effort on my birthday which I did not even tell them about. Room service was great and always came back to a treat and tidy room. The breakfast was top tier, loads of variety and great quality. My room was beautiful with a picturesque mountain view. Very quiet and homely hotel. Running out of words to describe this place but overall was a dream. The only down side is distance from town centre, I had no problem walking 20-30 mins back and forth as I prefer walking and seeing the town on foot but if you’re unfit or unable to walk long distances it might not be suitable. Downhill on the way to town and uphill on the way back. Lastly the Spa is super. Outside jacuzzi Sauna, steam room, mud baths, face mask and relaxing area. This hotel made our Swiss ski vacation a dream come true. Every staff member we encountered was so incredibly welcoming and helpful. The service you will receive here cannot be beat. From updating us on the mountain conditions, to directing us around town and to the ski area, to making dinner reservations for us in town, to arranging transfers to the train station, and so much more —we felt so well taken care of. If that wasn’t enough, the hotel amenities are so luxurious and comfortable. We spent time in the spa daily, and I had a massage that was fantastic. The rooms are comfortable and roomy, with nice fixtures and added perks (robe, slippers, turndown service at night); even the standard room left nothing to be desired. And we just felt so well taken care of each day, starting with complimentary breakfast in the morning, to complimentary tea and cakes in the afternoon, to pre-dinner drinks or a night cap at the bar, and even a dinner spent in a fondue igloo— everything met or exceeded our expectations. If I ever return to Zermatt, I will definitely be staying at hotel Matthiol again, without question!

I confess that I was originally eyeing the Victoria Jungfrau for our stay. The pricing was a deterrent plus I wanted to be on the river. Very wise decision. The Hotel Goldey was a rare find and I am so thankful that I discovered it. I will be returning. The hotel is located on the river in a very quiet part of the city with little to no night noise. The peaceful atmosphere is every travelers dream. The reception staff goes above and beyond to insure your stay is perfect. We were upgraded to Room 402 which I would recommend highly. The views are unsurpassed with two balconies, one a view of the river and the other of the mountain. The suite is spacious offering a dining table for 4, small living room with king bed and another separate bedroom. By European standards the room is huge, beds are extremely comfortable and the suite overall immaculate. The Swiss are known for their cleanliness and the Hotel Goldey takes it to another level. It truly was spotless. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and the view from the dining room is simply breathtaking. I am looking forward to my next stay!! Back to the Victoria Jungfrau. Just to give a heads up. It is located in a very busy and noisy part of the city with heavy foot traffic. Beautiful façade, absolutely but if you are looking for a peaceful night's sleep and a bit of tranquility, by all means book the Hotel Goldey.

It is an incontrovertible fact of life that Switzerland is horrendously expensive - and the Goldey Swiss Hotel is no exception. However in the context of the host country and Interlaken in particular, it is competitively priced. We paid extra to have a mountain view - and it was worth every penny. To stand on the balcony and listen to the sounds of the river and watch the ever changing vista of the mountains in general and the Jungfrau in particular is a delight. And to be a few hundred meters away from the busy main streets of the town is an advantage.The room was comfortable - though hot in the unexpectedly warm weather. The public rooms, lounge, dining room and garden are all furnished and decorated with taste to present a relaxing and comfortable environment. The staff are friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was a good start to the day with the choice of hot food and the cold buffet. All in all we were very happy with our choice of hotel and would happily return. We shall take note of the advice of the Manager and book far in advance to ensure we get the view we want.

My wife and I stayed for a week at the start of July. We had a nice room (305) facing the Jungfrau and river and it was worth the extra money for this view alone! View was slightly spoiled by the large tower block in Interlaken which some town planner should be shot for, but otherwise great. Breakfast was available from 6:30 to 10:00 so plenty of options for the early or late riser. Usual continental fare, plenty of fresh bread and cheese and meats. Fruit and the usual cereals together with a small hot option of scrambled eggs sausages and mushrooms/tomatoes. All the staff were very friendly and pleasant and thankfully spoke English a lot better than I speak German (or French). Location is good too, a short walk to the main street in Interlaken across the footbridge outside the Hotel or a stroll along the promenade to Interlaken Ost station or the other way through Unterseen to Interlaken West. Even strolling it only takes around 15 minutes to get from the hotel to anywhere you need to be in Interlaken. A little bonus was that if you were back early to the hotel in the afternoon there was free Coffee and cake in the lounge from around 3 -5. Very nice for putting the calories back on after a good walk. Upgraded rooms with mountain view are worth it.

We received a warm welcome on arrival and found the hotel staff very helpful throughout our three night stay. The hotel is next to the river Aare with direct access to the riverside footpath for access to the town centre and public transport - 10 minutes walk. Its in a quiet area away from the bustle of the main hotel strip. We had a room overlooking the river with a small balcony where we were able to sit out in the evenings. The room was clean and in good condition with plenty of space. Breakfasts were excellent - possibly the best in our week long Swiss trip. A set menu is offered in the evening which represented good value but we chose to eat elsewhere. A nice touch is the complimentary afternoon tea and cake. We had good weather during our stay with views through to the Jungfrau. However, somebody did allow a multi-storey hotel to be built in the town centre and while it does spoil a little what would otherwise be a perfect view.

Hotel is located right on the river. We had a mountain and river view room with a balcony. The view was beyond words...absolutely beautiful. Hotel staff was so friendly. Front desk girls were helpful and super nice. Breakfast was good and enough to eat. Beds were average.

Wonderful spa experience! I went as a Mother’s Day treat from my kids. There is a women’s only area where I used the jacuzzi and sauna. I also used the indoor and outdoor pool which was the perfect temperature. The signature massage by Alice was excellent!

All in all we had a wonderful stay, great staff, nice room and relaxing Spa! We were greeted by the concierge, check-in was easy and we got our room a little earlier upon request. The staff was helpful throughout the stay, the room clean, the bed comfortable. The food in the Brasserie Lok was tasty although it was a little overpriced for the meal you got if compared to other fine dining experiences. The Spa area was nice, not huge but sufficient. We enjoyed the little details, like the replenishment of our water bottles, well designed light situation in the rooms, good pillows and strong curtains to keep the light out in the morning. Our room had a balcony with lake and mountain view which was very nice! Few recommendations: - during online Reservation ask for the shoe size of the guests to have the perfect sized slippers at arrival. - Different Champagne in the Minibar, maybe subjective, but there are a lot better champagnes - blankets for the balcony in the cold months.

Beautiful property, spa and room. Staff across the hotel/restaurant/bar are also very professional and efficient. The location is very central. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms have shower and separate walk-in shower as well as separate toilet. The balcony is a nice addition too. Highly recommended for a romantic stay as well as with family.

We needed to stay in Lausanne because of a hospital visit. The Royal Savoy was the nearest to where we were going so we chose it. We were so glad we did! It is an excellent hotel with an even more excellent staff. Very friendly, helpful and kind. As as example, around 2100 we realised The pillows were not what we wanted. Within 5 minutes someone from housekeeping was there for three for us to choose from! The safe blocked and again, quickly, someone was there to help. Our room had a lovely lake view, was quiet, immaculately clean and very comfortable. On check in we were given a transport pass for Lausanne. Very handy because the metro is literally across the street! If there is another time we need to stay in Lausanne - we’ll stay there. It is a very good hotel. But the stars are the staff!

A lovely surprise on arrival on finding out we had afternoon tea included ( homemade walnut cake is delicious) and an evening meal, we thought it was of very good value. Everyone working here are polite and welcoming, a special thank you to Grit, she was lovely and very helpful, she told us a lot about the hotel and area, we’ve stayed in Gstaad 4 times over the last 2 yrs and she told us things we didn’t know. Hotel is in a convenient location, train station 5 min walk away, also cable car. 8 mins drive into Gstaad itself. We loved the hotel so much we have cancelled our booking at another hotel in December and coming back to the ERMITAGE for 4 nights! 🎄

Great experience with the sommelier and the waiting staff, attentive and professional. The spa area has everything you want with all different types of saunas and treatments. We had half board but food was available all day and included from breakfast, salad bar at noon, cake from 3-5pm and dinner after 7pm. The dinner menu changed every night with various good options

Warm initial reception, both by the front desk and the porter who showed us our room. We loved the period furniture in the room and attention to detail with bathroom towels etc and toiletries; the small food snack provided; the embossed writing paper; the Victorian heaters in cast iron; the lift which worked quickly; the beautiful gardens; the chance to eat breakfast outside; the opportunity to use the sauna and jacuzzi privately; the incredible breakfast spread; the extensive collection of art and objects of art the hotel displayed. The kindness of the hotel owner’s wife, who let us have one of the hotel’s clothes hangers with the hotel name upon it as a momento of the stay.

During the months of September and October I stayed 3 times in this warm cozy hotel. Its location, close to the clinic of De Valmont, is what originally motivated my choice. I came back again because of how perfect it was for me. It is quite large but feels like a family run hotel, with the kindness and attention to details and to customers that you usually only find in 5 star hotels. The view and location are spectacular. The rooms and the hotel are not modern, but well kept and super clean. The room was large (room 25, a suite with an amazing view and a separate living room) and very comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. more surprising, dinner was just amazing, with an attentive and professional service. The soufflé au cassis for dessert was worth the trip.

Hotel typical of its 19th century epoch, but well renovated and updated. Perched high above the lake . A lot of charm, elegance, and atmospheric ambiance, decorated with lots of art. Our room, in a corner on the upper floor had fantastic views over the lake and the mountains. Furnished with original furniture and pieces of art. The bathroom retained a Victorian look whilst discretely incorporating modern plumbing. Wifi works well. Our stay was too short to enjoy the pool the beautiful and the manicured grounds. Reception manager was very welcoming and helpful. Generally, experienced and professional management, well trained staff. Parking (free) available in front of the hotel, safe and convenient. The hotel is accessible by public transport but is set away from the busy town centre. Lunch in the restaurant, in the beautiful verandah overlooking the lake, was excellent. The fixed menu was creative, well executed, and very good value. Breakfast (included in the room price) was excellent, with very good fresh products.

The hotel has an amazing location above the lake. The view is lovely. The grounds are wonderful, with beautifully kept plantings. We hosted our family for a dinner on the terrace, and it could not have been more wonderful. The food was great, the staff were attentive, and the view was truly beautiful. The breakfasts were also held on the same terrace and were absolutely delicious. Our room was spacious and very comfortable and had a wonderful view as well. I was thrilled to have a bathtub, as I had been missing them on our trip. I also loved the attentiveness of the staff with the turn down service and so forth. We really loved staying here; it is one of our favorite memories of a rather long Switzerland trip!

Had a great experience with a lovely room that included a charming sleeping loft for our teenaged son. Huge bathroom with jacuzzi and simply perfect view of the Matterhorn. We would definitely return the next time we are in Zermatt. Also had a sumputous breakfast and lovely dinner at the hotel.

Exceptional service all around. Staff was always attentive and ready to provide high quality of service. The Spa was really nice , loved to watch the Mountains from the Jacuzzi and from the Restaurant’s windows while we were enjoying a wide selection of Breakfast. We did not choose to fine dining however the Food and service in the Bar was just as professional . Our Room was daily prepared with fresh towels etc. and it was really clean. The Place made our stay special.

My daughter and I recently celebrated her graduation with this stay at the Glacier Hotel. It proved to be the perfect choice. Recently reopened, it is a harmonious blend of nature, wellness and modern luxury. It has been exquisitely designed - from the rooms to the lounge areas, restaurant, spa and terraces. Attention to detail and superb hospitality abound. The Eiger view rooms are a must and the honeymoon suite was exceptional with a most comfortable bed, phenomenal shower, incredible views and private relaxing terrace with the lovely Jacuzzi. Great food, definite spot. Thanks for such a memorable stay!

Friendly staff checking was fast and easy they held our luggages . The room was up to date with the decor . We ate for breakfast out in the balcony seeing the beautiful view of Grindewald. Breakfast had sooo many choices and it was delicious. After a long day we used the jacuzzi and the vaporized room. We also did laundry which they provided the detergent. Dinner we ate in one of their restaurants food was fresh and every thing I ate was delicious . Thank you for making our anniversary trip special. I have been around the world and Glacier boutique is one of the best .I will definitely miss this place and I highly recommend this hotel.

Spacious room with scenic mountain view. The room is clean and quiet with comfortable bed. Nice breakfast and really delicious dinner. I enjoy the steam and sauna room service. And great value with their complementary thermal bath pass and Leukerbad guest card to commute with in the city and included Gemmi bahn.

Smooth check in/out, the roam was spacious and comfortable with a balcony offering amazing views of the mountains. We had free access to the baths (and extra towels to take with us there), the Gemmi cable car and the local busses. The room had a mini fridge which was quite handy! Staff were very nice and helpful! The location was also good, a short and gentle uphill walk to the baths and most restaurants.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel mit einer exzellenten Aussicht auf den Zürisee. Das Panorama Resort & Spa ist ein Hotel, welches ein qualitativ überdurchschnittlich hohen Sandart pflegt. Das Personal, so scheint mir, ist sehr motiviert und hervorragend geschult. Die über zwei Stockwerke verteilten Restaurants im höheren Preissegment sind vorzüglich. Das im Erdgeschoss liegende Restaurant Collina war indes mein Favorit, da es ohne experimentelle signature Menüs, echte und ausgezeichnete schweizerische Küche anbietet. Das Restaurant Loy Fah welches im obersten Stockwerk Visavis der stilistisch dekorierten Asia-Bar liegt, bietet Gerichte mit fernöstlichem Touch. Da hätte ich mich allerdings über mehr kulturell themenbezogenere Gerichte gefreut, dies ist allerdings Geschmacksache und nur meine Meinung. Das Restaurant Loy Fah brilliert in meinen Augen vorrangig mit der grandiosen Aussicht, die speziell bei Sonnenuntergang eine sehr stimmige Atmosphäre schafft.

Fantastic service coupled with amazing location and views. Spa was very well kept and a nice bonus with some refreshments included in the spa area. Dinner in Collina was suburb and the breakfast brunch was really worth it. We’ll be back!

Remote location, you need a car, but....breathtaking view, top class room with view to the lake, breakfast is great, staff very helpful and friendly. Loads of parking space. Highly recommend, - but you need a car.

The breakfast buffet had nice variety, The bar and the restaurant are good, but expensive. The outdoor terrace is lovely -- the indoor bar could use a "refresh" in design although in the nice summer weather we preferred to be outside with the incredible view. The one thing to note about the property is that to get to/from downtown Lugano can be expensive. During the day if you are fit you can walk down and back (a bit of a climb) and the hotel does have a shuttle service at certain times. But, in the evening taxi was required.

Amazing hotel perched above Lugano with impressive view over the lake from the hotel room. Rooms are spacious with a sitting area in the room as well as balcony overlooking the lake. Friendly staff offering quality service during our stay especially the drivers of the shuttle to Lugano. We really enjoyed a peaceful break in a beautiful hotel surrounded by nature. Dinner in the gourmet restaurant was an impressive and delicious conclusion to our stay in Villa Principe Leopoldo.

Location: High above Lake Lugano, need a car to get there. Beware: the hotel consists of the Villa itself (with view on the lake) and the Residence (with no view at all). Rooms: We stayed at a renovated room in the Residence and found it extremely big and comfortable. The bathroom facilities are ok, but the shower could be better. No tea/coffee in-room facilities, but free water is provided. Breakfast: pretty good selection of cold cuts, cheese, fruits and cereals. Hot selections limited to eggs and ham. Coffee offered and served. Restaurant: expensive and dress-coded, we did not go there. Spa: we did not make it there as reservations are required. Gym: reasonably equipped, water and towels provided. Sauna was closed for renovation. Staff: very "posh", like a "royalty butler". But they do their job. Overall, good impression and recommended.

This Hotel has an excellent location with a majestic view. Once you enter the room the view is spectacular. The room is big and very clean. The staff are very attentive to details. The restaurants service and food are amazing! This hotel was the highlight of our vacation. Service was impeccable, always attentive to the guests. The piano bar was a highlight of the stay.

The view from the hotel's main garden terrace is stunning and the food and drink options were excellent, including their Michelin-starred restaurant. The breakfast was good, with very high quality products, including freshly squeezed orange juice and delicious bread. The view from the breakfast terrace was wonderful. The hotel had two lovely outdoor pools, neither of which seemed to get too crowded and there were additional facilities including a relatively well-stocked gym at their sister hotel 100m away.

Truly amazing place, we enjoyed every aspect of our stay. We enjoyed a wonderful stay. A very comfortable hotel with helpful, friendly staff and a wonderful gourmet restaurant. We travelled by train and walked to the hotel which is next to a ski slope so we were able to enjoy the spa as we watched the skiers and admired the majestic mountains surrounding the hotel. Our room was very comfortable with amazing views.

I haven´t experienced in many hotels so professional and friendly staff as here. All of them made our stay better. Every time we were greeted with the smile. After our arrival we were warmly welcomed by Thomas, who immediately took our luggage to our room. Mr. Anthony Pereira went through check in with us. He explained us everything important and we even got upgraded room. Our room was very spacious and view from the balcony was beautiful. Spa was awesome, most we enjoyed sauna area. I´ve got super fluffy bathrobe, which I never wanted to take off :-) Overall we´ve got exceptional experience and we would love to come back again!

Our family (with 11 and 14 yr olds) stayed here for 3 days at the end of our England, France, & Switzerland vacation. It was the perfect luxurious way to end a busy European vacation. The service is top notch. The restaurants are all so delicious -- book early! We had the brunch every morning - incredible selection. The indoor and outdoor pools are lovely, with attentive food/drink servers. We enjoyed the easy access to the lake. The staff delighted us with many little extras in the room - chocolates, cookies for the kids, etc. Just perfection. We stayed in the Deluxe Room City and Garden. The staff prepared and closed up the extra bed in the sitting room every day for our kids. It was a great setup so that the kids and adults slept in separate spaces. It was a spacious room. This hotel is worth the money. Book it!

We stayed at this hotel instead of the Four Seasons (same street) based on a recommendation. We were so glad we made that choice. We arrived early after a red eye flight during Watches and Wonders week. We didn't expect a room to be available but the gentleman at the front desk (so sorry I can't remember your name) was very helpful. He did what he could and there was a suite available (room 505 I think). This is a beautiful hotel and every staff member is friendly and helpful. The staff in the breakfast room were fantastic! The room was fine - quite spacious, comfy beds and very nice bathroom. We were right next to the lift but couldn't hear it. Friendly and extremely helpful staff who are all multilingual. Half board was very good value and the food was good, especially breakfast and the salad bar which had different specials every day (one of 5 courses). Main course included veggie options which were different every day. The outdoor hottub is great for trainlovers as you can watch the station from the tub, but also lovely mountain views. Proper boot driers that did the job. Minor issues in room upkeep - like disappearing spa slippers and flannels and not replenishing tea/coffee supplies and milk had to be paid for from minibar (however - great to have tea making facilities outside the UK at all - it's unusual!). Recommended overall and good value for Switzerland.

Good couch and wow even a chaise longue! Great bathroom. 3. The view on the mountains and station we liked. The cable car beside the balcony didn't make any noise. 4. Perfect location! Only few minutes from railwaystation, busstop and cablecar. 5. We liked the different rooms for eating. Very nice breakfast room, glass dining room , terrace (and a beautiful garden), the intimate restaurant inside. 6. A wide choice of breakfast options. We liked the pancakes! Superb bread. Attentive continuous clearing of tables so always a place to be seated. 7. 24h water coffee and tea. We used the icecubes maker very often. Just great. 8. Nice Swiss menu's in the resaurant and a good wine list with Swiss wines.

This is an amazing hotel. A two minute walk from the train station, it is perfectly located to take a cable car up to Murren, or take a train (they run really frequently!) to Wengen and beyond. The views towards the valley are immaculate, and you get a true feeling of calmness surrounded in amazing nature and cute village architecture. The lobby is clean and sleek, as is the breakfast room, which is ample and provides great views to the street and inner garden. Breakfast itself was really good and generous, and the staff service super helpful ensuring you are done before they turn off any equipment in case you arrive right before the closing hours. My room was cozy, big and comfortable, with everything you may need to have a good stay. It had a huge balcony that let me walk and observe the valley in both directions. Dawn and dusk is always fascinating as the weather changes so fast here. I would find myself glued to the views for hours on end, after a day outside exploring.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Silberhorn! The location is perfect—just steps away from the Lauterbrunnen train station. The hotel exterior maintains the charming Swiss character of the region, while the interior is nicely updated with modern touches. Our room overlooking the valley and Staubbach Falls was spacious, comfortable, and easily the most well-equipped of our entire Europe trip. We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities like 24/7 still and sparkling water, tea, and coffee available in the lobby. The staff was polite, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. We had requested an extra bed and expected a simple foldable option, but were pleasantly surprised with a full-size, comfortable bed. Even with the extra bed, the room still felt open with plenty of space to move around. The dining options at the restaurant were excellent as well. Our included continental breakfast was of course good but what pleasantly surprised us were the dinner options - a lot of great, reasonably priced entrees. We tried ‘Tofu Casimir rice’ and margherita pizza. Both were great! Highly recommend Hotel Silberhorn for anyone visiting Lauterbrunnen—we would happily stay here again!

We had the pleasure of spending a night at the Silberhorn on a recent visit to Switzerland. We wanted to move around a lot and explore different areas. After leaving Lucerne we went to Lauterbrunnen just for a night before heading up to Wengen and then Murren. We were so pleased with our decision to stay at Silberhorn. After our journey, it was so nice to relax in Lauterbrunnen. Such a beautiful valley! Incredible! We booked a standard room which was perfect for our needs. Sandra was a great help in the booking process when we had questions. Our room was small (which we expected) and was nice and cozy. It had a spacious bathroom with great shower, and a small balcony facing the back of the property. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the hotel in one of their lovely sunrooms. The morning breakfast buffet was fabulous, too. The hotel is located close to the train station and was perfect for our needs. Staff members were all so kind and helpful. It was much nicer than expected. Contemporary interior, clean and roomy. The staff was helpful and sunny. The breakfast was exceptional. Enormous variety, plentiful, fresh and painstakingly replenished. It was the best breakfast I’ve had in Switzerland.

The host was incredibly helpful. She spoke very good English and even gave us some coins for the car park as we had no Swiss Francs having come via Euro countries. Really lovely room, comfortable bed, great shower, lovely appointed boutique hotel room with mountain views. Very good quality breakfast with lots of choice. After checking us in and making sure we had dinner reservations Geulia took us on a tour of the gorgeous and meticulously maintained hotel and facilities then personally took us to our room to ensure we were pleased. Our room and view were spectacular, so quiet and luxurious, every detail thoughtful and beautiful but also comfortable. The pool, spa and restaurants as well as the surrounding areas by the lake are romantic and walkable- there is no need to leave the hotel. We also enjoyed the history of the hotel as well as pictures of famous people who have stayed. Even the gift shop was a delight as Nolwen treated me to a beauty refresher and made me feel like a queen for an afternoon. All in all a magnificent stay. If a once in a lifetime 5 star experience is on your bucket list- this is the one to go to!

The room was absolutely superb. Recently refurbished it presented beautifully. Well-designed with mostly excellent modern facilities. The very modern lights, blinds, curtains etc., control system caused a few problems. The hotel moved very quickly to solve them. Breakfast had to be carefully chosen but a classic French breakfast was available which we greatly enjoyed. The view of the lake was uninterrupted and very beautiful. The hotels fleet of restaurants is ideal for foodie guests. A combination of good Japanese and high quality French offered much to the palate. Even the Lobby Lounge could offer delicious dim sum.

Everything was amazing. Beautifully decorated for Christmas (truly magical), clean, amazing, top notch and helpful staff. Food was delicious in all of the restaurants (we tried them all). And also it’s very important to mention it was family friendly and kids were treat with respect and not like they are burden

This was one of, if not the nicest hotel we have stayed in. The staff was incredibly helpful. Our room was impeccable with comfortable beds, heated bathroom floor beautiful balcony with view of Lake Geneva. We did not care for the restaurants, but that was our personal choice. If you want a 5 star hotel - stay here, you will not be disappointed.

The hotel and the staff, everything is absolutely fabulous. Will come back again! It is one of the best hotel experience I have had so far. We were amazed with room and all the tailor made equipment for kids and our dog, everything was waiting for us in advance. Spacious and beautiful room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good and there was a good variety to choose from. The location and views from the hotel balcony are absolutely amazing! The facilities- spa treatments, sauna, steam too and jacuzzi made the trip too!

Beautifully designed rooms overlooking Lake Zurich. The outdoor jacuzzi was a wonderful way of starting and ending the day. The staff were highly professional and helpful. Very nice breakfast area and a high-quality restaurant.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at in terms of setting and service. The front of house staff were both friendly and very efficient helping with both queries and advice. The restaurant and breakfast rooms are located in a seperate building opposite the main hotel. The breakfast buffet was high quality with a good choice of food and, while the hotel restaurant menu had a number of interesting dishes it wasn't our style of food. That said, there is a great Argentinian restaurant right next door which served a wide variety of the most excellent food backed up by very friendly and helpful staff which we would recommend most highly. Only a 10 minute drive from the heart of the city on the shores of Lake Lucerne. We were upgraded to a "Themed" suite on the 3rd floor - the "Moulin Rouge" suite & it was spectacular. Large bed, spacious room with a spa bath & incredible views of the lake right outside or window. The staff were friendly & helpful & the provided buffet style breakfast (in the Swiss Chalet across the road) was really good. Easy car parking, nice bars & restaurants to choose from & only a short drive to the centre of Lucerne. Highly recommended.

very pleased with our short one night stay, the hotel and resort amenities were elegantly designed and comfortable. the spacious rooms let my husband and i spread out and the lake side park let us relax in the warm sunshine after hiking Mt Rigi. the hotels location to Mt Rigi and Lucerne is perfect, a short drive but far enough away from the tourist areas we felt we were able to see the local culture. We really liked the anteroom entry that has a double doorway blocking sounds from the hallway, a nice designed touch. The beds are very comfy, the bathroom very clean and luxurious. The buffet breakfast at the Swiss Chalet was wonderful. So glad we decided to stay here on our 15 year anniversary. Wish we were able to stay longer and use the pool and sauna.

Great room, cozy and with some personality (not a cookie-cutter hotel room- wood panels, comfortable chairs, etc.) Incredibly beautiful view of the lake and mountains with a small balcony. No AC, as is expected in Europe, but provided fan and open windows kept the room comfortable in late July. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel restaurant was far above expectations- excellent, high quality food. We didn't use the hotel's sauna, pool, or lakefront facilities, but they are available and seemed to be well-used by other guests. Our stay was for relaxation, so we spent a lot of time in the room, but the hotel is close to a rail line that connects you to Luzern in about 20 minutes (train runs once an hour).

The location and view were very good. It was a bit confusing where is reception, etc, then we found right spot. There are like 2 buildings across the road.. Room was ok, with perfect view directly from window, but the room wasn’t cozy… but was good. We were lucky, we didn’t have insects in room, but we saw a lot of dead insects on walls and ceiling. The lake is very close 🤣. Very nice area just near water, people can swim and chill. Parking is big and available.

We stayed in Solothurn because it was near friends we were visiting. The hotel is near the river and a car free downtown with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel is in a historic building and lacks an elevator and air conditioning. In some rooms the bathroom is down steps from the rest of the room. The staff is friendly and helpful and there is a nice breakfast buffet. The banhof and parking garage are nearby. If you want an authentic European hotel this hotel is very charming. If you're expecting a Holiday Inn it's not.

Zermatt is absolutely gorgeous! My visit to this masterpiece of God and human hands wouldn't have been the same if I hadn't stayed at Hotel Alpenblick. I was surprised by the breathtaking views of Matterhorn from a studio and a room where I stayed at. It is a life experience that every person should have. It's magical to wake up to a breathtaking view of the Swiss Alps. The breakfast was delicious. It's well served at a super clean, organised, welcoming dining room. It's super clean. It's notable that the facilities are well maintained. The staff are lovely. They are very professional, friendly and helpful. Thank you! I loved this hotel. It'll definitely be my first option for another staying in Zermatt.

This is a spectacular property. Our room was large, comfortable, cozy and there were lots of extras. A balcony overlooking the Matterhorn, a large breakfast included with American items like scrambled eggs, waffles, cut up fresh fruit, a nicely stocked mini bar, coffee machine in room, various glasses and mugs, water bottle. A sauna and fitness room. Plus, Zermatt is a fun village with lots of shopping and restaurants. The owner and employees are kind and helpful. A++ rating.

It was all in all a super perfect stay. We just stayed one night before a jump to the Glacier Express but it was absolutely worth it to stay in this hotel for one night. The staff was 100% friendly and helpful with tips of the location, including the hotel app with possibility to check out with webcam the local sight seeing spots (perfect to see if cloudy or sunny). Rooms are super clean and the bed is amazingly comfortable. We had a balcony with view to the Matterhorn. Breakfast was diverse and good quality. If we come back to Zermatt we definitely stay there again!!! Thanks for the great stay.

The view of the Matterhorn from the balcony is very, very good. It was worth it booking this room to get the view. It is also within walking distance of Glacier Paradise, which is convenient. The area is quiet, only the sound of the river at night. The breakfast spread was also superb. Staff were helpful, especially the old guy who seemed in charge. The young lady on checkout was a bit curt, but still helped us get a taxi service

The room was excellent! The nice lady at the front desk upgraded us to a corner room for more space since there were 3 of us. The room was clean, spacious and had a beautiful view of the mountains from our wrap around balcony (totally unexpected)! The bathroom was really spacious for a European hotel. The hotel was a 5 min walk from the train station and located close to restaurants, shops and grocery (a Migros around the corner). The breakfast and free luggage storage were convenient. We only stayed one night, but it was perfect!

It seems the room has been newly renovated — the design is cozy and beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable. Our corner room had two spacious balconies with a lovely view of the Matterhorn, though it was partially hidden by a pine tree (which made it even more charming, lol). The overall view was fantastic! Got upgraded and stayed in the room with a balcony that has the perfect view of the mountains and the village! The room was very cozy and spacious for 4 people. The location is super central (Grindelwald is a small village anyway). Breakfast was just average - similar to any other breakfast you find in hostels/hotels. Good thing that they allow you to take breakfast to your room and we had our breakfast on the balcony to enjoy the view. The staff was very polite and helpful. If you're willing to spend a bit, this hotel is quite a good option among others.

The hotel, staff, views, location and breakfast were all amazing. The hotel balcony has the best view point in grindelwald. The views of snow clad Eiger from rooms was unbeatable. Julius upgraded our room for six nights stay. He guided us with options for our trip. Big thanks to him and all staff for making our stay memorable. During rains the balcony is the best place to enjoy the view. Bang opposite is the mini golf where family can spent an enjoyable evening. Base station to grindelwald first is very close. The first bus stop from grindelwald is hotel which reflects the views and prominence of hotel.

Great location, with the bus stop right across the street and many restaurants within a short walk. The tram station for the First recreation area is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. If you're going to Grindelwald, I high recommend that you spend a day at First. Lots to see and do there with some incredible mountain and alpine meadow views. This hotel was clean, the rooms were decent sized, and the staff was very friendly. If you stay here, be sure to get a room on the front side of the hotel that faces the main street. All of those rooms have a good sized balcony and they face directly to an unobstructed view of the Eiger mountain and of the mountains all around Grindelwald. Like many European hotels, there's no A/C, so you need to sleep with the window open, which adds some street noise, but not at level to where you would say it was annoying (and things got pretty quiet around 11:00 PM) If you don't get a room with a view, there is also an outdoor patio that offers the same view and is a common area that can be used by all guests (nobody used it when we were there). Tables and chairs are available on the patio. Oh yeah, there is a market directly below the hotel on the ground floor, which is really convenient. The only negative for this hotel is that the breakfast that is included is terrible. Embarrassingly bad with just a limited selection of food with marginal appeal. Nothing hot available We enjoyed our stay here and will stay there again if we come back.

Modern Times Hotel is a recent development with comfortable, light and spacious rooms (and some superb views, particularly on the garden side). The hotel facilities and room furnishings are modern, in very good condition and provide for a very comfortable stay. We have found all the staff whom we've encountered to be friendly and helpful and this contributes to the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. Although located on the edge of Vevey (close to the main autoroute along Lake Geneva and connecting directly to the Bern autoroute), the hotel provides travel cards for the region and there is a good local rail service connecting to Vevey town centre which we have used several times to enjoy the lakeside atmosphere in Vevey. The hotel restaurant, which is also used for breakfast (a pretty extensive buffet), is modern, airy and relaxed. We have stayed here on numerous occasions when travelling through this region on longer trips (so we also appreciate the excellent parking availability) and have never been disappointed.

We felt very much at ease in this hotel, you need a car to stay there since it is outside a village near Vevey. The guests are a mix of business people (individuals and seminars) and tourists (also groups). The breakfast buffet is great. Very friendly staff. Vevey is about 5 min. drive with a lively lake promenade and many restaurants. Great atmosphere in summer! If you appreciate a quiet room at night, we can recommend a room with garden view, it was perfect.

Stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate my girlfriends Birthday, here my little review: arrival: the resort has enough parking but we had the bellman to park our car and take care of the luggage. Although we arrived early, our room was ready, nice surprise. Check in was friendly and eaay, our room was in the 2nd floor of the main building, clean, litte balcony with 2 chairs and a nice view, it good shape but a bit dated. Breakfast buffet is available at the main restaurant and offers many choices, nice outdoor seating, nice! The pool is one of the largest in Ascona, the garden offers many spots and sunchairs, umbrellas are limited though. Did not use the Gym but it looks good. Liked and used a lot the pool side bar, nice lounge chairs to chillax after the the and also to visit for an after dinner drink. Tried different cocktails, may favourite remains the Negroni, thanks foe the attentive and skilled service by bartender Mary from Lugano, great job. Amd this counts for all the staff, they get it just right, friendly and helpful. A solid 4 Star experience I would like to recommend and will likely return next time we will enjoy Ascona and Lago Maggiore Area!

The DELTA is one of the rare occasions where reality outperforms the photos easily. We booked for 3 nights due to a family visit and the hotel surpassed our expectations. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL. Well maintained and perfect for taking a walk with the breathtaking backdrop of the mountains. Our room in Villa Favorita was perfect and bigger than we expected. Both room and bathroom were far nicer than on all the photos. As we were traveling with our baby son, the extra space was perfect. Baby bed, water kettle etc. all provided. Pool, breakfast, Spa, all wonderful. A must do is a sundowner drink at the lovely pool bar. Most notably of all, the team was amazing, really friendly, caring, professional. We absolutely enjoyed our short stay and would book again anytime.

The place is a bit old but absolutely clean and comfortable. The staff is incredibly friendly, polite and helpful. A beautiful and delicious breakfast buffet in a very nice, well spread and spacious restaurant.

Everything was perfect. Stayed there for 2 nights and received a free upgrade since the hotel was not booked out. The staff was always very friendly and could communicate either in Italian, English or German. Dogs are also very welcome. Facility is nice, quiet area and close to the walking trail at the river/lake. Restaurant offers great cooking and breakfast is also nice. Overall a very pleasant hotel.

The hotel was located close to the main attractions and restaurants. The hotel had a complimentary spa access which provided access to a steam room, jacuzzi, dry sauna and cold plunge. The hotel also had a ski storage area for equipment. The lounge was an added benefit offering cocktails from 6pm to 11:30pm.

Beautifully refurbished hotel in a prime location in the town with fabulous views across the alps. The service is second to none. Everyone from reception to the drivers ready to take you to the ski lifts within a few minutes are super friendly and helpful. The spa is small but has a steam room, sauna and jacuzzi overlooking the mountains. The bar is everything you’d expect from the Experimental Group. Breakfasts are great too. The restaurant is a little cramped and expensive for what it is but there are masses of alternatives nearby. Recommend for couples and families who prefer more personal service and some peace and quiet away from the main drag.

The staff were incredibly friendly, greeting us warmly and providing all the assistance we needed throughout our stay. The room had everything we were looking for—cool and comfortable with air conditioning. The bed was especially comfortable, with a mattress that gave us great support and a restful sleep every night. The shower was just right, with strong water pressure and hot water, making it perfect for relaxing in the tub multiple times. And yes, the breakfast was fantastic! We truly had a wonderful time during our stay. The location is also a big plus—just a short walk to Lake Zurich, and only about 10 minutes on foot to the Stettbach Bahnhof, where you can catch a direct train to Zurich Airport in just four stops.

This is a marvellous hotel, located in the Seefeld district, 3 tram stops away from the city centre. We got a rooftop room, with its own terrace and astonishing views of the city and the Alps. The staff was very kind and attentive. The breakfast were tasty and with plenty of options. The beds were very comfortable. The wi-fi was working flawlessly and without a need to re-enter the password all the time. All in all, a great place.

The location of the hotel is so tranquil. Beautiful just after sunrise or sunset. The SPA is amazing, with emotional shower, sauna, turkish sauna, relaxation room, massage area, fitness studio, indoor pool with cold and hot jacuzzis, and outdoor pool with a heated outdoor hot tub (both closed on this occasion, unfortunately). Plenty of towels in SPA area. Tea/water facilities available. Perfect facilities for relaxation. The shower in the room is something every person needs in their life: one feels like a newborn after it. Especially useful when SPA area is closed but one needs to relax after a long day :) We checked in very late (was a very spontaneous decision) and were welcomed in an appropriate manner - the last time we were treated like we didn't belong there (!). We enquired about a late checkout possibility, but were told to ask the next day. After some relaxing spa we did - and were offered to stay longer free of charge as it was Easter weekend. We checked out at 1 (instead of 11), meaning we had 2 more hours to enjoy the SPA area. Very grateful for this accommodation. Robes available in the room. Secure underground parking, free of charge. Complimentary bottles of water in the room and at checkout, a nice touch. Fridge and hairdryer available in the room. Kettle and tea/coffee also.

Collina d’Oro Resort is a very quiet , luxurious place with an exquisite peaceful view to Lugano lake, and a harmonious nature. We enjoyed the palatable Mediterranean and Swiss food, and the special intercontinental breakfast with nature view. Warm swimming pool with sparkling shiny waters nested in the heart of the surrounding mountains and hills. This is not poetry , it is the actual charm and spirit of the resort. It is recommended for families, and nature lovers! It is to 8 mn away from Tasis the American Summer school by car, and there is a bus transporting yo the Lugano center every 1 hour. Staff were amazing. We had a rough time earlier that day with some other accommodation and they took us last minute late at night and upgraded our room so we could cook some food we had and be comfortable. Can't tell you how much this was appreciated by us after a long day. Breakfast in the morning was very good and again the staff were so helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

It is honestly the most beautiful place!!! My fiancé and I were blown away at the view, the amazing customer service, the delicious food at the onsight restaurant! Would definitely stay there again! Only draw back, which is still absolutely fine if you love walking, the nearest bus stop is about 1.4km away and the walk from there is all uphill. But is a beautiful walk, especially going dien in the mornings😊 Oh and we loved the rabbit theme and sldo the epic Oldtimers Car Meet! We stayed there at a perfect time!

Great place in the country but still near Zurich! This hotel had ice & window screens!! :) Furniture was IKEA-ish but new. Bathrooms were nicely renovated, although had a shower curtain, not as sanitary as glass. Overall, very nice. Breakfast was very nice too! Great coffee available but not serve yourself. 1st day breakfast server was GREAT, 2nd day the server was crabby & it was not as nice.

This is such a hidden germ! The room we stayed in was fully renovated, with a nice balcony and a great view of the mountains. In general, we really appreciated the hospitality — the staff were very kind and welcoming and there were thoughtful touches like free coffee and water carafes in the communal area, as well as an “honesty bar.” After a long day of discovering beautiful Lucerne and its surroundings, you can try local beers in the garden under the shade of the trees (which seem to be frequented by locals as well.) The location is perfect as it’s very close to the city center (direct bus line, train stop 5 min walk away) but also gives easier access to Alpnachstad/mountains. We hope to be back!

Gasthaus zur Waldegg is a lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean and spacious. Very friendly welcoming staff. Extremely comfortable room and great breakfast with lots of choices. We also had an evening meal there which was delicious. Very close to the bus stop (20) to go into town or to the lakeside swimming area in the other direction. Also a ten minute walk from the train station. Would highly recommend it.

We arrived early and were allowed to check in with no issues. The room was lovely with wonderful mountain views - clean, modern and the balcony was a pleasant addition. Dinner was very nice, well cooked and the lady serving us was extremely pleasant. Breakfast was little hectic - but all the same, no issues or complaints about the food - a good start to the morning. There is a honesty bar which is well equipped should you need it.

The hotel has everyone one could wish for , offering a great choice of restaurants (The Samui Thai restaurant was fantastic !), a wonderful , well appointed spa area offering a great selection of treatments, terrace bar and the most delightful and tranquil areas to relax outside and go for a swim either in the natural pool or the most welcoming lake. The customer service was off the highest standard as was the food offered at the restaurants. The buffet style breakfast was very good We are certainly looking forward to returning again in the not so distant future

Spent a week there with my family, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates quiet time. Rooms are beautiful and clean. Staff is super polite, breakfast was something we really looked forward every morning. Children are allowed in spa areas only in the morning, but as the weather wasn’t very nice, girls from spa would always help us around and let me with my two girls in when nobody was around. They were all lovely, and my daughters especially loved Olivia. Restaurants were nice and staff was very polite. Our favorite restaurant was Cacoon. Thai restaurant looked beautiful, with polite staff, but food was a bit disappointing because it was too plain and didn’t taste like Thai cuisine. We had a dinner there with our 12 friends and we all had same impression. Maybe the chief wanted to make some compromise with food to taste more European or something, but we went there because we love Thai food. So, my suggestion is for that restaurant to stick with authentic thai food and their essential ingredients like lemongrass, lime, ginger, garlic, chili, coriander and nam pla… Otherwise, we have no objection and are looking forward to stay in this hotel this autumn

We had a fantastic time at Seerose Resort! The settings are beautiful, the hotel is modern and clean, the new spa facilities were amazing and there is overall such a nice atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful, including at the restaurants. We'll definitely be back!

This is a relaxing hotel in a very calm spot by the lake. The spa is great, with diverse activities and access to the outside garden, pool and lake. Many of the rooms give over the large (very large!) parking area so if you prefer views of the lake and the fields, make sure on reservation that you don't overlook the cars. An additional plus is that the buffet breakfast is served until noon. On the downside, there appears to be a problem with ventilation in the main building. Our room had a sometimes very strong smell of old cabbage and thai cooking. We also had a problem with the A/C which tended to switch itself on during the night. All the restaurant prices were eye-wateringly high, even by Swiss standards. The less fancy lakeside café offered a more relaxed atmosphere than the hotels' three restaurants but the food was less than average.

Came with my husband for 3 days and had a fabulous experience here. The staff was friendly and accommodating, giving us good advice about nearby hikes and readily available to answer all our questions. The room is small but clean and cozy, with a kitchenette which was great for us. Bathroom newly renovated. The lovely balcony facing the beautiful mountains was perfect. Breakfast was good, and they make good coffee which isn’t always a given. All in all, had a wonderful time and would definitely come back here.

Hotel was in an excellent location, only a couple of minutes to the train station and into town for dinner on an evening. The free ski bus stops right outside of the hotel and is 2-3mins to the main lift area, although the walk to the lifts (in ski boots) is still <10mins. Rooms are a little small but very comfortable with plenty of storage and wardrobe space, bathrooms seem to have been recently upgraded and are modern and clean. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice etc. Staff were all friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely stay again next time we are in Engelberg!

This was my first trip to Switzerland and I had a lot of random questions. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful even when I had to ring the reception many times. Four of us stayed in a family room (1 double, 2 single beds); it was clean, comfortable, homely, warm, and quiet. Our room had two sun-roofs above the double bed and two balconies that showed us the surrounding village and mountains. Most of the room was designed and built with wood, which made it a relaxing stay. The hotel itself is a small place (three floors in total), but it was very clean and only a 5-min walk away from the train station.

Nice hotel close to the train station, and if you arrive by 4 PM, you can take free ski shuttle no. 7 to the hotel. Stayed one night and left my luggage when I went skiing. When I returned, I was offered free use of the spa downstairs to take a shower. Breakfast was excellent, with 3minute eggs cooked to order, or fresh scrambled eggs. Fresh croissants and loaves of bread, fresh fruit salad, cold cuts and cheese, various dry cereals and yogurt made for a great breakfast before skiing. And that same free shuttle takes you to the Titlis Talstation, where you can rent your ski equipment and go directly up the mountain by cable car.

The pool outside is fantastic and big for plenty of guests to enjoy. G Food in restaurant was delicious. Table service was at times slow however so be prepared to wait. There is a pool table in the lobby to keep my boys 10/12 entertained. Staff very pleasant and helpful except one guy at the front desk being a bit of a Nazi about pool towels! Beds comfy and cleaning staff friendly and accommodating. I would definitely return to this hotel again. Special mention to Jaquad (front desk/shuttle driver and Fadila. They were so helpful and pleasant.

It was a totally unplanned stay (thanks Easyjet!) so I arrived late and hassled. The bar was very nice and the staff friendly. I crashed out in my very comfy room. In the morning I had buffet breakfast on the beautiful terrace overlooking Lake Geneva/Leman! I had to spend most of the day in the 'business area' and it was mostly good, although the wifi was a bit flaky at times. I had a burger for lunch, one of the best I've had, and then a member of staff gave me a free shuttle ride to Geneva airport. It was a really special stay and a great find.

We recently stayed at Everness Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The reception team was incredibly friendly and cooperative, providing excellent service throughout our stay. We had some comments during our stay, and they took our comments seriously and made changes immediately that satisfied our whole family. The hotel overall is very clean, quiet and detailed within provided service is recognizable. A special thanks to Christelle, who was proactive and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Staying at Jägerhof in Saas Fee was truly outstanding. Upon arriving at the bus station, I called the hotel, and the owner himself came to pick us up, which set the tone for a warm, personalized experience. Once we reached the hotel, he took the time to explain everything about Saas Fee, highlighting activities and must-see spots. We were handed the key to our suite on the 4th floor, complete with a balcony and a breathtaking view of the mountains. The overall atmosphere felt like staying with family, as we shared stories and cultural insights, discovering similarities in our backgrounds. They offer breakfast and dinner daily, and on the evening we dined, they went the extra mile to provide halal/kosher options, which added a special touch of hospitality that we deeply appreciated. The room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. We were fortunate to experience both a late summer ambiance and snowfall during our stay, which added a magical touch. Although we came to ski and their ski-in, ski-out feature wasn’t ready due to limited snow, the natural beauty and warmth of the hotel more than made up for it. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel like we had a second family in Saas Fee. We’re already looking forward to visiting again, perhaps in the summer season.

Love the location very near to SBB train statio. Room is spacious enough to open luggage and bed is very comfortable. Staff on duty very friendly. There are 2 restaurants nearby,1 Swiss and 1 Italian and the staff is very helpful to help us make reservation for the restaurant. Will come back to stay here if I'm visiting Olten in the future.

I booked here for 2 nights with my wife and daughter during our Swiss summer vacation. Then extended the stay for one more. It is an excellent hotel. The room was spacious, nice, clean and well maintained. The hotel read and executed the instructions very carefully exactly as requested by me. Our flight was delayed from Berlin and we reached the hotel past midnight, but the person at the reception attended us with a smile and helped us very well. The cot for the daughter was also well placed. The Hotel Restaurant is also very big and spacious, roomy, with lots of windows, fresh air and well lit. We always have enough tables and free space in restaurant to enjoy a relaxed breakfast with family. The breakfast spread was very good and the serving staff was also very helpful and prompt in refills. Cherry on the top free ice-cream for kids at the reception. My daughter loved it. The location is also very good. The bus stop is right next to the hotel or walk 10 min to the nearby local train station. There is a ticket buying terminal machine at both bus and train stations. So including walking to the bus or train station in just 25 – 30 min – min you will be in Zurich HBF. Viviane handwritten note was a very personalized welcome for the guest, that's rare to find these days. Mara at reception is always very helpful for direction for location travel and any other information. Overall, a great stay is very well recommended.

This is a no frills hotel but everything worked well and the room was extremely comfortable. It even offers a pillow menu and I chose a neck supporting pillow which was delivered to the room. The bathroom had a wonderful shower with excellent water pressure. The hotel has a restaurant which was very convenient as we were staying overnight on a Sunday. Nice menu and very attentive service. The breakfast buffet in the morning had a great variety of dishes and excellent coffee, and of course homemade Bircher Musli! In a city where parking usually comes a steep fee, the free parking on the premises was an added bonus.

my experience in the hotel was very good. The hotel ambience was classic but the room was modern, big and comfy (I stayed in the 'lifestyle room'. The service was good and the staff was friendly. When I made my booking I requested a big bed (not 2 single beds) and they told me that they would give me the big mattress but the foundation of the bed would be 2 beds and asked if I would be ok with it which I said I would be ok as long as I get the big mattress. Upon arrival my room was not ready as it was way before check-in time. The staff was so helpful that they apologized to me and said they would prepare the room urgently and asked if I could spare them 30 minutes which was a very good gesture as that was still in the morning and I didn't aspect to be able to check-in. Everyday the staff would smile and said hello every time I walked pass them which was very nice. The were very friendly, polite, and accommodating. The rooftop bar was very nice and I went up there often Now the touch up that I think would make it better is breakfast. Their breakfast was not 5-star breakfast so this is the area where they should work on. Anther area to work on is to apply the keycard system to the elevator which would make the hotel more secured. If they can fix this it would be a perfect hotel.

We went in June, unfortunately the window views from the breakfast area were blocked as they were renovating. But if you eat at the rooftop restaurant it is amazing view overlooking the lake area. The room we chose was a bigger room with separate bedroom and one added bed in the sitting area for our family of three. It was spacious enough to relax. It is a bit pricey but worth it for the location and convenience near shopping and business area. Lots of restaurant options within walking distance and close to Old Town.

Views from room are amazing. You watch the paragliders land throughout the day with the alps in the background. Staff were very nice. Gym was big and had all you need for a good workout. Restaurant at top had nice views but menu wasnt the best. Only two negatives: filtered water dispenser in lounge tasted bad so we bought water from the convenient coop across the street; and breakfast had only one option which was an expensive buffet, no a la carte. But this hotel was awesome!

This hotel is superb. The rooms are beautifully appointed and modern. Ours had a view of the lake. The beds are comfortable, and the breakfast buffet excellent. One caveat - do NOT eat at the rooftop bar. Do not order mixed drinks. Food and mixed drinks way overpriced, and the food is mediocre. The hotel is very modern and stylish. The swimming pool, jacuzzi, spa and sauna were very nice too. The breakfast was varied and very yummy.

Spa area - fantastic, my wife loved the sauna and jacuzzi. Breakfast- very nice. Room clean and well equipped. Very elegant and well located, 5 min walking distance from the station and the lake Geneva.

The breakfast was well worth it. Staff was outstanding. Really enjoyed the amenities! Pool and jacuzzi were great.

Our stay was good. They had good facilities with swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and gym. The hotel is walkable to the lake.

The property is Superb and luxurious. Our 4th floor apartment was quite, comfortable, clean and modern. The building and furniture is new. Fully equipped kitchen with extra coffee cubes. I loved the breakfast by the terrace which includes variety of delicious menus and spectacular view. The staff was more than welcome and very friendly. I forget my AirPods which was later shipped to my address free of charge. My family was very happy and we left with unforgettable memories. Surely coming back again.

Beautiful presentation and great quality. The beds are super comfortable and the sound of the waterfall in the bedroom created the most amazing sleep! Location is perfect. Truly exceptional apart hotel. One of the best experiences we had in Switzerland. Great, quiet location, just a few minutes walk to the main street. Lovely spacious guest rooms with amenities like mandarin oranges, chocolates, wine, writing materials, and porch or balcony with views. Above all, it was the people who made my stay. Christophe, the Chief Concierge, and the bell men made me feel like family.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at La Réserve Hotel & Spa Geneva. From the moment we arrived, everything was handled with such genuine warmth and professionalism — the team throughout the hotel and the management made us feel truly welcome. Our room was superb – elegant, beautifully designed, and perfectly maintained, offering that rare combination of comfort and understated luxury. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. I want to especially thank Fabien from Guest Relations and Abder at Concierge, they both went above and beyond to make our stay feel easy and personal. Traveling with a toddler isn’t always simple, but La Réserve made it feel surprisingly smooth. They had everything ready for our little one, from a crib with thoughtful baby amenities to a cozy in-room teepee. Between the kids club, playground, and how accommodating everyone was, it was clear they truly understand how to make families feel at home, without compromising the luxury experience. Tsé Fung was a real highlight, easily one of the best meals we had on our trip. Every dish was beautifully prepared, and the setting was just right. Breakfast each morning was another favorite moment, with a great spread that felt both relaxed and indulgent. The whole property strikes a balance that’s hard to find: timeless design, peaceful spa, immaculate grounds, but most of all, an incredible team. Everyone we met was warm, attentive, and sincerely kind. La Réserve Genève completely exceeded our expectations. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

First, the employees are outstanding - they truly give the guest experience a 10 plus rating. The hotel is close to the airport, on the lake and easy access to the city center. We were there in early fall so the outdoor areas including the pool and outdoor seating were closed, however you can walk around the property and enjoy being outdoors. We dined at both restauraunts, and found the food and wine to be delicious. The morning breakfast buffet was fresh, had a great variety and was perfect. There were plenty of areas to sit and work if you wished to, and their lounge areas were beautiful and comfortable. They offer a spa experience that is world class. Be sure to fully understand what is offered upon check in so you don't miss out on what they have to offer! We were not traveling with young children, however they cater to the littles and allow the family to all enjoy themselves.

I was lucky enough to stay at many renowned hotels, but this one stands out as the finest by far. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed into a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond at every step—from the valet’s gracious welcome to the reception’s professionalism and the concierge’s exceptional attentiveness. Even the breakfast buffet team paid close attention to my preferences, making each morning feel personally tailored. It truly felt as though my comfort was their highest priority. The hotel is great, everything was perfect. The View is amazing 🤩 I willl post some special lake view videos on Google Maps. The stuff are so friendly and helpful. The Beatus Wellness & Spa Hotel is a fantastic hotel in a breathtaking location. Everything about this hotel is great, especially the food and the staff. The colleagues in the restaurants are simply amazing. They work the breakfast and dinner shifts, and after a long day, the level of service is still very high, and they provide outstanding customer service. The food overall is excellent, but at dinner, it is superb. I stayed seven nights, and dinner each night was better than the night before. I will definitely be back.

We did fair amount of hiking in the mountains and it was fantastic to come back to Beatus, relax at the spa and have great meal and rest. View at the mountains and the lake was superb, we liked salt water and inside pool, swimming in the lake, food: breakfast, dinner any snacks, relaxing atmosphere. Pier for the lake boat was right by the hotel. Staff was always helpful and fantastic. Great service.

My wife and I stayed at the Royal Plaza with a tour group. We loved the Lake view from our room and the overall ambiance. The rooms were large and spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially at the breakfast service. We ate dinner at the restaurant and the bar the two nights we were there. The food was good but found it pricey. It was raining and we didn’t want to go out to seek out other options. There are restaurants nearby, so there are plenty of options. The one complaint that we had was the nightly music at the bar a couple of floors below our room. The music was played too loud along with the thump from the bass, made for a hard time to relax or try to go to sleep at 10:30 PM for early morning tours. They finally did turn the music down at 11:00, but you could still hear the bass thumping until very late. It would be helpful if the hotel informed guests of the possibility of the music being played loudly and give you the option to be farther away from the bar area. This would help future guests have a more pleasant experience. We also found the lobby area very warm. They need some air movement in this area.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Royal Plaza Montreux & Spa, and it was a truly memorable experience. The hotel’s location is unbeatable—right on the shores of Lake Geneva, with breathtaking views of the water and the Alps from both the lobby and many of the rooms. Waking up to the sunrise over the lake was a highlight of my trip, a fabulous location right on the lake, with a bar and restaurant located lake side, with very large rooms, and onsite parking. Ideal for exploring the town. The room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities (including a Nespresso machine and luxury toiletries) added a nice touch of comfort. Service throughout my stay was impeccable. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with recommendations or bookings. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The hotel also offers onsite parking.

The breakfast was very nice but I want to mention that there were two types of breakfast, American breakfast and another option is croissant with coffee at the sunset bar. The view of the room was wonderful full lake view and sunset view. The staff was so kind and helpful and happy to answer any questions and explained the activities we can do and were to go.

The spa is excellent - very well thought out, with indoor and outdoor pool, jets, jacuzzi, lovely saunas...very much the highlight of our stay! If you are travelling by car through Switzerland it's extremely convenient, well located and welcoming staff.

The location, just a few minutes’ walk from the train station and a shopping center, was perfect for us. We enjoyed the access to the swimming pool and sauna, which was included in the price. The breakfast buffet was generous, and all the hotel personnel were amazing. The hotel and rooms were very clean. We occupied a total of three rooms; two were perfect, but room #3 did not have adequate clearance between the bed and the wall to pass by. The beds were very comfortable, and the WiFi was excellent. As is common in Switzerland, there was no A/C in any of the rooms, but a fan was provided. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning, especially as the owner mentioned plans to renovate all the rooms and add a restaurant on the top floor.

Everything was great! Employees were very friendly and helpful. The room was big enough with a big and comfortable bed. Breakfast was very delicious with good quality products. We also had access to the spa and it was also very relaxing.

The hotel is very modern and spacious. We booked a de luxe Matterhorn facing room with a balcony and, as the weather was good whilst we were there, we could sit on the balcony and look up at the mountain. The view was very slightly obscured by the edge of the next door suite, but that was only a very slight niggle. The room was a good size and everything was well maintained and good quality.The staff, including the owners, were all very pleasant and helpful . The breakfast buffet was adequate; like all hotels in Switzerland it was mostly a selection of cold foods, although bacon, scrambled and boiled eggs were available. The hotel has a swimming pool and hot spa, which looked high quality, although we didn't try them. It is located next to the cable car for the Matterhorn glacier, which means that it is outside the main town. However, it is only a 10 minute stroll to the town and it is only a gentle incline; you can also use a nearby lift by the cable car to reduce the amount of the climb

We had views to everywhere - View to the town was awesome, view to the Matterhorn was phenomenal (only a utility pole was kinda on its way) however we’ve enjoyed the suit 50 very much so with floor to ceiling glass windows and a big a tub! Breakfast was great with variety of food, local Zermatt yogurt had a unique flavor along with local cheeses and more. Spa area was exceptional with indoor and outdoor pool of course with a view to town and mountains. Staff is extremely nice and helpful when you want to make reservations to restaurants or anything you want, they were very warm to the guests. It was very convenient to just put our skis in the locker room and walk outside right to the gondola. I’d definitely consider staying there again!

After traveling all over the world, I am prepared to say this is likely my favorite hotel I've ever stayed at while on the road. From the second you're picked up at the train station in the Focus electric vehicle (yes, no cars allowed) you feel like a VIP. The driver points out some of the highlights of the town, where to eat/drink, and even a little history. Once you arrive at the hotel, you fly into the side of a mountain (a lot like Batman) and drive up the really awesome cave to the elevator. It's the coolest entry. Once you get up the elevator, you are welcomed at the desk by a staff that's simply unbelievable. The staff at the desk, the bar, the cleaning staff...they're all top notch. The young lady got us checked in quickly and told us to head to our room. The WHOLE hotel is all glass. The elevator, the stairs, the windows...it's glass everywhere. We got to the 5th floor and there we were in a room, all glass, facing the mountains. Once we were settled, we asked...okay, where is the Matterhorn? She said, why not go out on your balcony and look. There it was, outside our door, right there, and as beautiful as ever. The amenities are amazing, the bar amazing, the breakfast delicious. The staff helped us with our hike the next day, also with food recomm., and honestly everything we asked. There is a happy hour each evening with snacks and such in the lobby, we chose to go out on the terrace overlooking the Matterhorn each day. Take advantage.

What can I say. Simply loved this hotel and it staff. From the moment we were picked up to the moment we were dropped off at the end of our stay we were made to feel comfortable. On arriving at the hotel we were greeted with welcoming drinks and shown around the hotel and its facilities. The room was beautifully set out with a wonderful view of the Matterhorn to wake up to. The wellness area is well set out and kept. I loved the pool area it was a nice relaxing place to be inside or out, night or day. The hotel is run in a very at home comfortable style and the staff has great knowledge of the local restaurants and attractions. If you plan on going up the cable car for skiing or hiking or just for a look this hotel,is right next to the cable car station. The hotel is wonderful but if you can get a Matterhorn view that is a amazing bonus.

We had a one night stop over in Zermatt. This was an amazing hotel. We called ahead from Tasch and the electric taxi was waiting as our connection train arrived. Reception staff were really friendly and helpful. Our case and rucksack were stored as we spent the rest of the afternoon on the Gornergrat mountain railroad. One problem was had was the room, with underfloor heating, was far too hot. As we first opened the door, it was uncomfortably hot. Even opening the door to the balcony was ineffective. That aside the room was perfect. Beds and bedding comfortable, welcome cakes, towelling robes and lush toiletries all made it luxurious but the icing on the cake was definitely the magnificent view of the mighty Matterhorn. Sunset and sunrise were spectacular. We had a dip in the outside pool. Beautifully warm and again looking over the big M. A silent nights sleep followed by a breakfast of kings with plenty of quality choices. The electric taxi back to the station ended our short but very successful stay. Do not overlook this amazing place.

Excellent Hotel to stay at Zermatt. Call the hotel ahead and let them know when you are arriving - they will send a local Alpine Taxi to fetch you from the train station to the Hotel. From the minute we set foot on the property, we feel so pampered. The check-in was easy and the gal Christine was super friendly and helpful. We had a junior suite with the view of the Matterhorn from our balcony. The separate bathroom and shower is wonderful. The soaking tub is a bonus. I enjoyed spending time in the spa after a long day of exploring Zermatt. Breakfast was delicious. The host from Portugal I think his name is Jorge is welcoming and helpful. Love our stay very much. Will sure return if I visit Zermatt again.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The views—especially of the Matterhorn—are absolutely stunning. The amenities are top-notch, with a beautiful spa area that includes steam rooms, saunas, a hammam, and both indoor and outdoor pools, all with that incredible mountain backdrop. Breakfast was another highlight—tons of variety and even a chef preparing fresh omelets and fried eggs on the spot. The property is spotless, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. The concierge was especially helpful, giving us great recommendations for hikes and things to do in and around the area. Definitely take advantage of their advice! The hotel also offers a free shuttle to and from the train station, which made things so convenient—just let them know your arrival time in advance. As for the location, it’s perfect—close to the main street and everything you’d want to see in Zermatt. The town is small and walkable, so getting around is easy. Highly recommend this place if you're heading to Zermatt!

Beautiful room with lots of space. Staff were lovely and helpful in picking us up from train station. Bed was so comfy. We were early checking in and they took care of our bags and even put them in our room whilst we were exploring. Very clean and room service was perfect. The breakfast was amazing with so many options. The Thai restaurant inside was so good and perfect when you didn’t want to travel far to eat. Very close to train station 5 to 7 minute walk. The indoor pool and jacuzzi was sublime and the saunas too. We loved our stay here and were so happy we booked it even though it’s a little pricey. Perfect views of Matterhorn waking up in our room. Was a dream! Would highly recommend!!

We came for Nov 21st through Nov 23rd for a couples get away. Estelle made a fantastic first impression on us. She was so kind and attentive! Our room was exactly what had hoped for: cozy, rustic vibes with a view of the mountains. Breakfast was fantastic, and the attendant was the most friendly person you could hope for in the early morning. There were plenty of options, and I especially loved the cherry jam. We did come “before season” so the restaurants were not open and the front desk had become our bartenders (which we loved!). We didn’t mind the mess from the preparation of opening for season (incoming shipments of things) and still felt like we were given the same amount of attention (maybe even better!) as someone staying in season. The three things that could use improvement: Our bathtub leaked, preventing us from using it to soak after a long day. The jacuzzi downstairs was freezing (however, perhaps that’s how it was supposed to be?), and the room was unbearably hot at nighttime (rectified by opening the windows). Overall, we are planning to come back next November. This cozy little hotel was a wonderful escape. We hope to see Ms. Estelle next year as well, as she truly made our getaway special.

We just spent one week at the hotel Albana Real In the heart of Zermatt Switzerland. This small hotel is a gem! The wonderful staff was always available to answer questions and give good advice. Each room was decorated slightly different, but they all were very beautiful. We had a balcony and an upscale bathroom. From my window I had a absolute magnificent view of the Matterhorn. Breakfast and dinner were Included in our package. The hotel has three restaurants including an Italian, Thai, and hibachi. The meals at all three of these restaurants were excellent. I had my children and four grandchildren with us and they also enjoyed the diverse menu and food. Daily breakfast included omelettes, multiple cheeses and bread, fruits, and a selection of meats including delicious prosciutto. The hotel is located near the bus stop with frequent free buses that takes us to all the major lifts. The amenities at the hotel included a spa, pool, hot tub, sauna, beautiful ski lockers, bar and sitting area. I would certainly give this hotel an excellent rating which made our family vacation so wonderful.

We stayed here in July of this year (2024) and were delighted with our beautiful room with a view of the Matterhorn. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Great breakfasts. We only ate in the 'Entrecote' restaurant downstairs, out of the 3 available, which was very nice. Good food and friendly, helpful staff. Overall, a very pleasant and enjoyable experience.

The hotel Cervo is a “design hotel” located just above the entrance to the Sunegga funicular and a 5-10 minute walk into the main town area. More then a hotel it is a group of chalets. The first acts as the communal area (restaurant/bar); the rest of the chalets constitute the guest rooms. Each chalet (assuming they are all similar to ours) has a spa area - with sauna and outdoor jacuzzi. Our room was large - minimalist in decor - but very comfortable. Three large floor to ceiling windows provided us with a fantastic view of the mountains. We had a standard room so no view of the Matterhorn, however, breathtaking nonetheless. Tea and coffee facilities were included as well as a free mini bar with some soft drinks and beer. Bottled water was provided every day as well as little “gifts” with turn down (chocolates/cookies and the such). The bathroom included a bath and shower with Molton Brown toiletries. The breakfast was served in the main building and was delicious with both buffet and a la carte (eggs, pancakes, French toast...) option. This hotel is perfect for those who want to be close to the action, with plenty going on (the hotel has good apres ski facilities as it is located on the main piste down from sunegga and above) whilst maintaining the peace and tranquility of being further up the mountain in very comfortable surrounds. Our one complaint (which we flagged to the hotel) is that out of our 7 day stay the jacuzzi was in operation two evenings.

We spent 7 nights at Cervo after staying at a nearby hotel the past two trips to Zermatt, and we will definitely be back. The service was wonderful, starting with attentive check-in and getting everything up to our room, amazing breakfast included (espresso, eggs/waffles cooked to order, great buffet). I loved the spa too - small and tucked away, with a small pool and spacious hot tub and a GREAT sauna with showers and a beautiful view of the Matterhorn, relaxation room, steam room, etc. The location is easy to launch hikes on the Riedweg and up into the mountain trails. Our room was super quiet and private, with a beautiful balcony with Matterhorn view. The turndown and housekeeping was great - discreet and left everything fresh while we were out in the morning and evening. Great bedding. This is a hotel for a relaxing getaway, great food at Madre Nostra and Bazaar - beautiful cocktail patio with views - also a great launching location for hiking, easy walk into town. Highly highly recommend! The ONLY less than stellar part was the room service burger - overcooked and tough which was a bummer after a long day of hiking, especially for 40CHF apiece. Other than that the restaurants were all great (try the tartufo pasta at Madre Nostra and the labneh at Bazaar, and the spritzes and great wines by the glass) and the service top notch from beginning to end, we will definitely be back!

My stay at CERVO Mountain Resort was truly exceptional from start to finish. Everything was perfect – from the seamless check-in to the warm farewell. The breakfast was a standout: fresh, beautifully presented, and featuring a wide variety of high-quality local and international options. It was the perfect way to start each day while enjoying stunning mountain views. The staff were outstanding – incredibly attentive, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile. They made me feel genuinely welcome and taken care of throughout my stay. The location couldn’t be better. Nestled right on the mountain, the resort offers breathtaking views and easy access to both the slopes and the heart of Zermatt. Whether you’re skiing, hiking, or just relaxing, everything you need is right at your doorstep. I can’t recommend CERVO highly enough – it’s the perfect alpine escape. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Had a blissful 2.5 days at the Cervo. Stayed in the Nomad lodge because it is closer to the spa. The room was fantastic, really loved it, stylishly furnished. Very comfortable bed. Great stuff included such as a lightweight mammut rucksack that could be borrowed and/or purchased in the shop. We ate at the italian restaurant one night on the terrace - food was delicious and a good selection, although I do think more choice for vegetarians would enhance the offer. We ate in bar the other night - Middle Eastern/asian delicacies - again fantastic. Breakfast was amazing with a super choice of cooked/prepared options plus a large buffet. Finally, the spa is incredible and where we spent every afternoon and some of the morning we left. Worth going to the hotel just for the spa, we had a 90 minute deep tissue massage by Malanka and Javi who were both amazing. Felt completely blissed out by the massage - probably the best I've ever had. Finally, all the staff are lovely, whether the servers, the spa people, and front desk. I would personally flag the Czech front desk guy whose name I can't remember who was really lovely when we arrived at 9.30pm and checked us out. Also, the guy from Barcelona who drove us to the station when we left - both kind, attentive and engaging. I can't recommend the Cervo enough and I would definitely return the next time I'm in Zermatt.

We loved our stay at Limmathof Hotel and Spa. The location is on a quiet old street facing the river, a beautiful spot for a promenade and relaxation. Our room had a lovely design with a spacious bed. Breakfast took place in a building on the other side of the river, and we enjoyed the five-minute walk and crossing the bridge over the water to get there. The spa was included in the price and was truly amazing. It featured different saunas, a steam room, and a thermal bath. We especially loved the beautiful salt room, the thermal pool with a waterfall and jacuzzi, all elegantly illuminated and designed. The spa area had many restrooms with tea available and a surprising ice room with an ice wall. We also tried the small fitness room and were pleasantly surprised to find that on sunny days, you can train on the terrace facing the river. It was two days of total relaxation and wellness just 20 minutes by train from Zurich main station.

The hotel is very nice, located in a quiet part of Baden, yet it's not far from the city centre – within walking distance. Good size room with comfortable bed and big TV. The staff at the front desk were welcoming, friendly, and accommodating throughout the whole week. Breakfast is served across the river in another building, and it was very good, featuring scrambled eggs, fresh bread, and both hot and cold beverages. It had everything I needed.The spa is beautiful, and facilities like the gym, indoor pool, and sauna made my stay really enjoyable and relaxing.Overall, my experience was very positive, and I look forward to returning in the future.

Beautiful old hotel with an exceptional spa! I believe my stay included access to the spa and breakfast. It was a little pricey but Switzerland is an expensive country! Great location right on the river and short walk to Forty Seven Spa and the town of Baden. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was fine nothing special but comfortable. I would stay here again!

The hotel is very well located, by the river and close to the public baths as well as downtown. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is fair... Best of all are the in-house baths, where you can spend the whole day, even the departing day. They are tiny, but very relaxing and clean. No need to go elsewhere!

A bit difficult to get to by car, but a great location along the river even with the construction going on across the river. The staff was excellent. The hotel sits high overlooking Zermatt and is close to the Sunnegga lift. It has a traditional, old-school Swiss feel to it--which we really liked. There is an awesome tunnel in the village that leads to a lift for easy access to the hotel. Our room had a great view of the Matterhorn when the weather allowed. The breakfast was delicious and loved by everyone in our family. The linens were cozy and comfortable. The hotel staff serviced our room every day and provided turn-down service at night. The convenient boot room with warmers and locked ski room were much appreciated. The deck provided a great view of the village apres ski. And the cozy bar was a nice final stop in the evenings.

Fantastic location, spectacular views of the Matterhorn from room and restaurant. Great breakfast and dinner. Friendly and helpful staff throughout. Nice electric car to collect and deliver you to the train station. Room was spacious and clean with really comfortable large bed.

Schoenegg hotel in Zermatt has a unique position offering an unrestricted view of Matterhorn, very comfortable and importantly with a friendly helpful staff - an example of Swiss hospitality. The breakfast is exceptional and the restaurant offers very high quality menu.

The staff at the reception and at dinner were very professional, friendly and welcoming.

Great hotel in a quiet neighboorhood. The "Superior" was nice, with extra space to spread out, including a couch and desk. The room was on the rear of the hotel with a view of teh hill side across teh river - very private. and very quiet. We didn't hear any noise from the other rooms. The hallways feature a staggered design,providing a feeling of privacy when enteing or leaving the room. he front desk and other hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. The morning breakfast was excellent. The variety of foods was fabulous: fresh cooked eggs, breads and pastries, several types of yoghurt including non-dairy. The caprese salad was a nice touch. The coffee (brewed on demand by machine) was great. It's a short walk to the train station, which has excellent underground shopping for groceries, pharmacy, etc. We will stay here again the enxt time we are in Baden Argau.

I also tried the restaurant for dinner which has nice choice on the menu and tasty food. Within walking distance from train and bus station.

The Sunday bruch is absolutely fantastic. There is a great variety of fresh foods ranging from traditional breakfast to an Indian buffet including delicious desserts. The service is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is very family friendly. We truly enjoyed it. Thanks so much. We will come back.

The toilet also very complete, including bidet. Everything was very clean. No noise from neighbors or corridor or cars as the room gave to the river. People at the reception and at the spa were very friendly and helpful and speaking several languages, including Italian, English, Spanish and German. They were making all the possible to serve our needs, like giving back the Guest card at a cable card station. Breakfast is very good, served as buffet. The huge breakfast room offers as well amazing views and makes you feel you are in a castle. Spa is very nice with different kinds of sauna. The garden next to the pool, which is in another floor, is a very well cared space inviting to relax and be surrounded by nature. We were offered some complimentary parking place next to the hotel. The hotel offers the Sommer Guest Card starting from 2 nights' stay, which includes cable cars and buses in the area and is a great benefit. The location allows you to walk to some nice restaurants nearby, take bus and just be at a very quiet area. The hall of the hotel is beautiful.

What a wonderful hotel! Spacious, elegant, luxurious, beautifully decorated, and with a breathtaking view of the Bernina group. The hotel gave us a free upgrade and our very comfortable room had three windows with a view of the river and towards the mountains. We also loved the swimming pool and its adjacent terrace. The restaurant is elegant and served first class food. The breakfast was among the best ever, with a great variety of dishes. We can't wait to come back!

Excellent location, easily walkable once you know about the tunnel and dedicated lift. Breakfast selection was good, the in-house restaurant is also worth a visit (we enjoyed our dinner there very much). The view from the restaurant is another positive point. The staff (hotel and restaurant) was overall very friendly and professional. Our room was in the 'Charm' category, i.e. there are upgraded versions available. We found it more than acceptable in terms of size, comfort and amenities. We had an excellent stay in Zermatt and the hotel played its part. We would definitely consider coming back

We absolutely loved this hotel! The staff was amazing and so kind. The views were incredible! Food was also incredible including the breakfast included with the stay!! We had to leave super early our last day for a train and they even packed us breakfast bags for the go which was so sweet and made our early morning easy and delicious! Only complaint is the shower. I don’t know if all rooms have it but it’s just a handheld shower head on the wrong side making it difficult to shower and get water all over the floor. So some shower updates and this place would be perfection!

It’s worth the splurge for a room with a view. The view was amazing. The pool and sauna area are also great with a great view. Staff was friendly and helpful. I was worried it would be too far from the main road but the location was perfect and easy and right next to the ski rental shop and lift. Breakfast was good and they have a shuttle from the train station. 10/10 would definitely stay here again. Everything was perfect.

A perfect one night stay! Staff was nice, helpful and informative. Included breakfast was the best breakfast I ever had. Rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious with a perfect view of the Matterhorn. My boyfriend and I had a great time.

The staff at the Schoenegg was very friendly, helpful and efficient. We were able to ski into the hotel and the train up to the mountain is only a short walk away. Breakfast was good but more importantly, the Gluehwein (home made after the hotel's own recipe) was amazing. Other positives were the view from the room, a nice spa area, cozy bar/restaurant, overall cleanliness of the hotel/rooms. The room itself was comfortable but the beds could use an upgrade. If it wasn't for the beds, I would have definitely agreed with the 4.5 star average rating.

The Hotel was very cozy, beautiful decoration with many details. My room was very big and it has very nice balcony with an amazing view facing Matterhon mountain it has really incredible view. The breakfast was super tasty and many option to choose, super wonderful. Thx to the staff Sarrah as well she was looking after me every morning, she s so welcoming and kind and helpful. This hotel was such a cozy and delightful place to stay! Although our room was small, it offered a breathtaking direct view of the Matterhorn, making it truly special. The thoughtful touch of heart-shaped chocolates left in the room was a lovely gesture that made us feel welcomed. The lounge, swimming pool, and sauna were all fantastic, providing the perfect environment to relax and unwind. We enjoyed swimming and even had fun playing billiards. The restaurant and lounge had an incredibly creative and aesthetic vibe, adding to the charm of our stay. The staff were wonderful—always friendly and helpful in planning our day and recommending places to visit. A word of advice: if you plan to dine at the restaurant, make a reservation early as it gets fully booked quickly. The hotel also provided a convenient pick-up and drop-off service, which added to the overall ease of our experience. It was a truly memorable stay, and we’d love to return! This wasn’t our first choice, as we had to cancel our original booking due to a change in our itinerary. However, it turned out to be the best decision we could have made—fortunately!

I celebrated my birthday at this hotel — and it was absolutely magical! From the very beginning, I could feel how much the staff cares about their guests. Everyone was incredibly polite, welcoming, and attentive, and they truly made me feel special. My room was spacious and very cozy. I especially loved the jacuzzi, the soft white bathrobes and slippers — perfect details for a relaxing stay. The balcony had a comfortable lounge chair and a table with chairs where I enjoyed my morning coffee while taking in the view. Every little detail was thoughtfully arranged to create a comfortable and festive atmosphere. This place left me with only the best memories. I will definitely come back — and I highly recommend it to everyone!

The location of the hotel in central Geneva, next to the train station and shopping area. The room was great, classic furnished and large. The bed was very comfortable and pillows too. The hotel facilities were perfect such as gym, spa and conference rooms. We had dessert at the hotel restaurant were more than delicious. The only one thing that i could say is wish my room were having better views.

Took a while to reach from the bus terminal. But it's near the train station which made the trip to the airport super easy. Right next to a supermarket and plenty of restaurants around, with different cuisines. Staff were friendly, check in and out efficient. Lobby was welcoming to me as I had been staying in airbnba for the past few nights. I loved our room. Think it was one of the newly renovated ones. So everything was clean. And it was spacious once the sofa bed was folded back into a sofa. Price a little steep, but within the range of expectation for Switzerland.

Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a better room – actually the best one in the hotel! The room exceeded all my expectations – spacious, modern, and extremely comfortable. The sauna was also a great addition for relaxation. The location is perfect as well – close to the city center and just a short walk from the station with direct connections to the airport.

The breakfast buffet was wonderful, there were plenty of healthy breads, fruits, coffee, cheeses. My room with a balcony and view of the lake was exceptional. The location in Paradiso was perfect for me, a little more quiet than downtown Lugano and near enough to walk to everything in Lugano. I would stay at the Delfino again in a heartbeat. All of the staff, including front desk and dining room staff, were always friendly and helpful.

Great hotel close to Lugano city center, including a reasonably priced garage (18.- CHF per day). The room was cozy, with a small balcony having a nice lake view. Dinner was incredible and the waiters were very helpful and nice. I highly recommend having dinner and drinks at the hotel, it's really worth it! Breakfast was good, with a wide variety of products and fresh fruit. I will definitely come back if in Lugano area.

The pool area was beautiful with great views. The restaurant was excellent ! I stress dinner there twice. Beautiful and delicious meals. The breakfast was a true continental breakfast but still had options.

- The personnel was very polite and attentive to clients (A big thank you to them they were great!) - Very well located (train stop at a few meters) view over the mountains from balcony. - Room and hotel very clean. Did not get any allergies from the floor, etc. - Very relaxed hotel which made the stay great! - Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices + dinner was really good as well (after a ski day: Rosti and fondue) - Spa was very clean and we really enjoyed the two saunas. - parking spot is free (if you find a spot) We will come back next year to do more skitouring around the fluelapass.

Very nice hotel, located just as you enter Davos and about 15-20 mins walk from the centre of town. Rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable (as with most decent Swiss hotels) and the hotel has a great bar and a couple of restaurant choices - the one that does Fondue and steak on a stone is highly recommended but was full the night we were there. However, they let us order from that menu in one of their other restaurants which was excellent service and the breakfast is nice too.

This room was very clean, a nice size, and a great location from the train station. Also the staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good and we also had dinner there, which was good.

On the edge of town (Dorf), spacious spotless rooms, excellent restaurant, and a cosy bar. Quick trudge to the Parsenn lift, or take a bus. For other nightlife, one does need to go Platz however.

This was one of the best stays we’ve ever had, everything was great from our arrival. We were welcomed with a glass of wine in the sofa by the chimney during check in. We then stayed for excellent dinner at their restaurant La Torre - delicious pasta and tiramisù. Breakfast was abundant, with homemade cake, warm crunchy bread, and a cook who prepared eggs on the spot - would recommend the omelette. Staff members were really friendly! After a day of skiing in Zermatt, we could relax at the spa area, which was quiet and very well equipped (2 dry saunas, 1 humid sauna, jacuzzis, showers, an area for reading). Wish we would have stayed longer at this great hotel! Promised ourselves we will be back soon - grazie, merci for the stay Grächerhof!

We were late arriving at this hotel and the receptionist worked late to accommodate us. She couldn't have been any friendlier and gave us great advice local bars, restaurants etc. The room was modern, spacious and really clean. On departure we continued our hike on the TMR filled up on a really good breakfast.

The rooms are very clean, cozy and have all the amenities and comfortable. Very well managed temperature and the beds are nice too. We had a lovely balcony looking outside. Breakfast is very nice too... and the staff is the best you will ever find in Switzerland. Ask for Nadeem, Maya and Heidi. They are lovely!

It was lovely to be welcomed by a drink offered by the hotel, nice touch. The spa is great, very intimate, clean, brand new and not busy at all (and we stayed there on a Saturday). The hotel is at the center of Crans-Montana just 5 minutes walk distance from the cable car and in a very calm location. My room was exceptionally big with a large balcony and a beautiful view. The staff was super helpful, friendly and efficient and the service overall excellent! Room service was delicious! I had unfortunately no time to have breakfast ....

The hotel is centrally located, but quiet. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a nicer room with terrace on the sun facing south side; this colored our experience positively. The staff were all friendly, helpful and attentive. My wife enjoyed the pool and the spa. We liked the 2min shuttle ride to the Cry d’Er skilift.

What a great hotel and dog friendly! it is wonderfully located in the center of Crans with breathtaking view. The stuff is very friendly. We really recommend to eat at the hotel: the chef is amazing!

This is a follow-up to the first visit earlier this summer at the restaurant at the Hotel du Parc des Eaux Vivies in Geneva. This time, my wife and I recently visited to experience their Sunday brunch. VERY happy to report that the brunch is truly a rich & sumptuous dining experience! It is presented in a grand buffet offering a wide range of dishes - various types of quiche, beef, pasta, seafood, salads, fruit and deserts, really too many to list here. Great champagne and wine. All of this with tables on the outdoor terrace with a magnificent view of Lake Geneva. We were taken care of by Christophe, who made us feel VERY welcome and went out of his way to ensure our visit was memorable. Even though the brunch is a bit pricey, it is well worth it. The experience was the best brunch since my move to Geneva in 2015. Highly recommended, but booking in advance is strongly suggested. A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

What an incredible place. We walked up through the peaceful, safe feeling park from the ferry landing. Once we arrived we almost thought we were at the wrong place-- too good to be true? No, it's true. It's a beautiful building and an impressive establishment, inside and out. We even had a surprise upgrade to a suite. We couldn't have been happier with everything: the space, cleanliness, comfort, attention to detail, extras in the room, professional staff (especially at reception), restaurant, (dinner on the terrace, and a really great breakfast spread). We felt like royalty. We wanted to stay longer. Will definitely stay again. Easy walking to the waterfront and historic district.
