I was pleasantly surprised how good this hotel is. This Ramada Hotel is MUCH nicer than the Ramada Hotels I am familiar with in the USA. The room was comfortable, clean, decorated well and was well organized. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but the breakfast room looked like very good and seemed like it would offer a very good breakfast. The location is great. It's a very short walk directly to the pier on the beach or to visit the historical classic Kurhaus Hotel. But next time I'm in Scheveningen I'll stay again at the Ramada and just go to the Kurhaus to see the beautiful architecture. However, the best part of this Ramada are the Front Desk staff. Andrea, Daniel and Jahyr are 100% "top-level" front desk employees. They are professional, friendly and go way beyond what an average front desk employee does. While this hotel has many assets, they are the best hotel asset this hotel has. I'll be back!

We had a wonderful stay,the hotel had everything we needed and more.The room was very comfortable,cozy and had a lovely design that made great use of the space.Minifridge,coffee machine,work desk,efficient AC,great quality bedding,all of it was spot-on value for money.The location is perfect,basically across the street from the beautiful beach,and 4 mins walk from a huge Pathe cinema and supermarkets.Breakfast was delicious with a varied choice for a 3* star hotel,couldn’t fault it.

Lovely hotel. Very modern and clean. The staff were all friendly. The only downside is no food at the restaurant after breakfast (which is expensive) and Parking is quite expensive. A tip is to use the amazing inter-parking which is less than 5mins walk from the hotel. The cleanest car-park I’ve ever used. It cost almost the same price for 1 day at the Ramada for 3 days at the inter-parking. Ramada should look into reducing their crazy price 😅😅

stayed here while visiting my son, the hotel was very well equipped, staff very helpful, my room was lovely and big and airy i booked a deluxe double room, bed was queen size, lots of tea and coffee etc, Bathroom was amazing with Jacuzzi bath and separate shower, lots of smellies and flannels provided in room. We ate breakfast here one morning and was not dissapointed, huge selection of cooked, and continental, fruit and yogurt, staff were very helpful, and dining room was huge and very clean and well kept. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Holland

What a great find 10 minutes drive from The Hague. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed thoroughly. Set in a quiet urban location with more than enough free on-site parking and restaurant, but we ate out as plenty of restaurants nearby. Our room was one of their comfort rooms, and very comfortable it was too. Set in an annexe of about 30 rooms just over from the main reception, so very peaceful as no passing clients booking in/out. Bedroom was large with a very large wet room / bathroom and useful fridge and kettle for hot drinks. We could not fault staff all multi lingual and all very helpful and pleasant. Parking in Holland is expensive everywhere compared to Belgium/France so sujest using local train station just down the road. We enjoyed a drink in the bar on a couple of evenings, very pleasant after a long day out in Amsterdam and again great attentive staff. The hotel is very clean and well run we would certainly use again.

This hotel was a delight. Our room was spacious and the bed extra large. the fixtures and fittings were just a little tired, but everything was well maintained. Did notice other rooms had been updated so suspect that this is an ongoing scheme. The food was excellent. Breakfast fresh and there was a so many choices it was difficult to choose! We had dinner at the Hotel every night and the food was very good and there were plenty of choices and a good range or prices. The house wine proved to be exceptionally good.The hotel reception and dining room were very well presented, furnished and decorated and all the staff we met were friendly and helpful. All in all a fabulous few days and I would recomment the hotel to anyone looking for a convenient place to stay and visit places like Delft, Leiden, Rotterdam and Gouda. First rate!

We chose this hotel because we knew it from living close by several years ago. The food is good and the general ambience is quiet and it is frequented by the local middle to older age group. It is on the 45/46 bus route that travels from Leiden Central Station to The Hague Central Station which run every 10 to 15 mins during the week and every half hour at weekends in both directions. We like a soft bed and the beds in this hotel are nice and soft. There was plenty of hot water and the room had a bath and separate shower. We were automatically given 2 electronic keys when we checked in. We stayed for 5 nights and paid separately for breakfast on one morning. Breakfast is very good, but if you don't want a lot it is not cheap. There are many places in Leiden where you can get a good breakfast. You should try the Dutch speciality 'uitsmijter' which is toast with ham and cheese and fried eggs on top - delicious!

Perfect Location Next to the Beach, beautiful view from the Restaurant/ breakfast, the staff was really nice, cozy interior, good breakfast! We had a great stay and booked our next stay right away.

The hotel is just near the beach as necessary. It is old fashioned but quite modern. There are no door cards..but real keys (cool)! The whole hotel staff is amazing and very friendly. We enjoyed early and yummy breakfast with an awesome chat with one of the employes (We regret we did not ask for his name). Of course a view on the sea was "included" when sitting at the table. Actualy after 2 nights at the hotel we did not want to leave!:o)

The staff were all absolutely fantastic! We enjoyed talking to them. They were fun and friendly. They were extremely helpful, and very forgiving! The breakfast spread was great, they were always replenishing the stock as soon as it was empty or before, and everything was very fresh. Everything was very clean and well kept. We would definitely stay there again!

The hotel had a perfect location, in a walking distance from the tourist attractions. Breakfast was very good and delicious. The dining place had a great view of the sea. Very friendly and helpful staff.

This hotel is absolutely amazing!! Its nodelled on Ikea, it has wonderful customer service, argueably the very best we have ever had from hotel staff. We stayed here twice on a recent south Holland cycle trip. Both times were fantastic. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great hotel experience. Its modern, comfortable and clean. We picked up the positive vibe as soon as we arrived, - the staff all seemed happy and motivated. The property is well maintained, with a lovely outdoor garden area and in walking distance to the city and next door to Ikea. Our room was quiet, nicely furnished, and the bed was firm, yet very comfortable. There was daily complimentary water, and high quality amenities. The room was perfectly adequate in size and very clean. We ate both dinner and breakfast in the hotel restarant. The chicken salad is one of the tastiest I have ever had. The breakfast offered lots of options, quick service in a great ambience. The hotel also was well laid out with a large public business centre, a great gym/fitness center and spacious lounge area. In short, this hotel delivered on all fronts: great service, comfort, and customer service. I will definitely be back here and I highly recommend it. . Overall, this was one of the best hotel stays I’ve stayed at in a long time.

We visited this hotel with our children and grandchildren and stayed for two nights. The room was clean, comfortable and modern. Parking was on site and free. We had dinner in their restaurant and all were pleased with their meal. The two following mornings we had a buffet breakfast which was diverse in its offerings and delicious. Boiled eggs were even offered hard boiled or soft boiled. Gluten free bread was baked on premises and it was delicious. We took advantage of their laundry room to do a wash for a small fee. The one criticism that we have is the shower in our room did not have a grab bar.

This is a hotel mostly aimed at corporate, but was ideal to stay in as a family. Great family room with kitchenette, easy buffet breakfast, free parking and felt really clean. Ikea next door so perfect for a quick inexpensive kid friendly dinner too. Its walkable from delft (20-25min) but theres a main road to go under. Bus also available but ideally get a bus card in advance. You may be able to hire a bike?? Only thing that we thought could improve was the sofa bed was very saggy, so both tried to cling to the edge! Overall, an ideal place for a stopover in this area if you dont mind not staying in the centre of delft.

WestCord was a very welcoming place to stay. The greeting and service were superb and check-in was faff free after a long journey. The room was bright and very comfortable, and the lounge very clean, modern and pleasant too. Staff in all areas were friendly and did make you feel welcome. Couple a nice breakfast to that the following day, which was an easy and tasty help yourself buffet, and you have it made. Many thanks for a lovely stay.

Just so comfortable and great service, wonderful breakfast and super nice service. I always come back. This time also had dinner one night and it was delicious and fresh. Also a quick 15-20 minutes walk into the city center is convenient and safe if you want to try out the great Delft restaurants.

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed and trust me I traveled a lot. I spent 3 amazing weeks in this hotel. The comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in, amazing mattress, pillows and blanket. Great soundproofing. Very clean. Downstairs restaurant is a top class. The breakfast was delicious, I ate so much that was full till evening:) Dinner is also incredible! The location is super central, very beautiful outside & a lot of attractions in a walking distance. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

A well kept hotel in the heart of the city. Beds were on the soft side but that is personal and might please others. Room was clean and quiet despite city view (would recommend thisnoption). The room was clean with complimentary water on either side of the bed. Really good shower. Didn't have breakfast so cannot judge on that. Staff was really friendly.

Very nice hotel in a central location in The Hague. Perfect mix of ancient and modern. Very comfortable bed, awesome shower. The room I was given had a problem with the heating, it was impossibly hot in there, so I asked for a different one and I was given another room without hesitation. Very nice buffet breakfast, too.

This was the third time we stayed at this hotel and it never disappoints. The staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming.

We had a room with a view to Delft in the distance. The room was very clean, modern decoration and equipment. Large and comfortable bed with a firm mattress. A table with a small coffee pad machine. A TV on the wall. Bathroom with a very large spacious shower, modern and very clean. No funny smells.

I chose this hotel as it was the closest to the location that I was attending for a 2 day business meeting. I was only in the hotel at night (for 2 nights) and didn't have time to make use of the hotels facilities such as the gym so I can't comment on this aspect. The hotel was very relaxing and after arriving at the hotel late in the afternoon, I made use of the hotel's room service to have a meal. I had a lovely hot bath and relaxed watching TV in bed. The breakfast is served towards the back of the adjoining restaurant and the buffet was very extensive and the restaurant staff were very attentive.

Only stayed one night, check-in was professional but very slow (only one staff member on reception/bar/other) so long wait. Room (Exec. room) was small but very nice and clean and modern. Nice bar but again long wait for service. Everything was add-on cost (parking, breakfast, the tonic in a G&T, etc.) Despite being a "five star hotel" and the room guide stating "24-hour room service", room service actually stops at 10.00 pm - thanks very much!

Savarin is a beautiful small hotel close to the hague, beach, and highway to other destinations. The room we stayed in was fabulous, with modern technologies including lights controlled from your bed and tv that sinks into the footrest, and a great spa feel bathroom. The pool, sauna, and hot tub (included with your stay) are wonderful. My wife had a 1 hour facial which she rated among the best she had, which is a great compliment as she owns her own spa and knows the business... The bed was very comfortable giving a great night sleep. To put it this way, we were in the Netherlands for ~2.5 weeks and stayed in 5 top hotels including the Kurhaus. When I asked my wife and 16 year old daugther which hotel to pick for the final nights they both agreed rpthey wanted to return to Savarin. Highly recommend and will certainly return next time in Holland

My husband and I stayed one night and went to the spa for swimming and the hot tub, saunas. We were the only ones there, all was great. Room was comfortable and quiet. Price of room included breakfast which was also very good with eggs and bacon cooked to order, typical yogurt, fruit and breads offered as well. Would stay there again.

Great hotel - rooms are modern and v.comfortable. We chose this hotel primarily because of the spa (we ran the Haag half marathon)- and was impressed by the facilities. Breakfast was excellent too. Only downside is that it is a little out of town - €15-20 taxi into the city centre or a 15 min tram ride.

We had a wonderful stay and had an opportunity to pay more and upgrade our room to Wellness suite and it was very big and had a sauna and jacuzzi. Overall the room was very clean, cozy and we were enjoying the night.

The hotel is a lovely establishment with lovely clean rooms. We were on the ground floor which had a private terrace onto the front on the hotel entrance. The little coffee shop sell the most delicious bakeries and other essentials which is a lovely asset to the hotel. We didn’t opt for breakfast so this was really helpful during our stay. There’s free parking available around the hotel, you just need to validate your parking ticket at the hotel reception. A big shout out to front desk officer Iris who was really helpful and warm. The cleaning staff did a good job with plenty of clean towels replenished but the toilet brush was left in the toilet (I’m sure in haste). The hotel is not far from scheveningen beach - a short 10 mins drive. It’s really a lovely sandy beach with plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops and a mall. You can opt for a cheap kibbling meal or a sit down meal at the restaurants.

Room was spacious and comfortable, staff were friendly and very helpful, restaurant was good and the breakfast was delicious. I didn't get a chance to use the gym facilities but they looked great from what i could see

The location is top. Hotel located nearby highway and easy to get access to the city. We have super great and amazing time there. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Restaurant serves supper delicious foods. Friendly staffs . Check in and check out are so smoothly.

Hotel situation perfect for overnight to get ferry to UK. Check in staff very efficient. Good instructions before arrival of how to book the parking ( as no on site parking) . Secure access to each floor of the hotel only with your own room key. Room was lovely and well presented. View (8th floor) amazing over harbour and sea. Food for breakfast and evening dinner was good.

Beautiful room, wonderful seaview, tasty food, friendly and attentive staff. My three year baby was happy to swim in the warm swimming pool and play with the toy, which was presented to him by the hotel personnel as a compliment. I had forgotten my belongings, so I came to take them back and they weren't taken by anyone, my stuffs were waiting for me at the lobby and I was happy. When people from the hotel are so attentive to you and your son, you want to come back again and again.

Comfortable and spacious room. Restaurant was good - we used on 2 evenings. Quiet location about 20 minutes walk from Moerwijk den Haag station, 5 minutes to Den Haag Central.

The hotel was easy to find with satnav, even though it is hidden in the woods. It is in a lovely quiet position and appears to have good facilities to suit couples and families alike. Check-in was simple and quick. We booked Room 4 (Honeymoon Suite) as we had been married 4 weeks earlier. The room was lovely and spacious with a spotlessly clean bathroom, large bedroom with small sofa, TV, desk, chairs, air conditioning and a lovely large corner spa bath. The only disappointment was being overcharged for drinks (by 14 Euros) but that was soon sorted.

The property is centrally located with good access to lots of restaurants, bars and shops. The breakfast which was included was exceptional. We booked a junior suite and it was beautiful, complete with a jacuzzi bath. All soft drinks and wine in the room was complimentary and stocked up every day. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and attentive. One member of staff remembered I had tea every morning so I didn’t have to ask, she brought it directly. Thank you for an exceptional stay.

Room was clean and had a great vibe. Amazing bath, comfy bed, and great shower. Perfect cosy suite! Food was very tasty in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The restaurant staff were very well trained, attentive, and friendly. Great location for visiting the city. We would come here again.

We had a very comfortable stay at 't Goude Hooft right in the heart of Den Haag. It is a fabulous location if you want to explore the historic part of the city. This Hotel Restaurant has been famous for decades for its large terrace where many locals and visitors love to have a drink or a meal and watch people. Our room was on the top floor (Binnenhof), overlooking the market square. Very spacious, very clean, with a separate WC and large bathroom. There was a sitting and bar area, and the minibar was complimentary (nice touch!) The incredible breakfast was served on the terrace, and was delicious and Dutch, with eggs, cheese, meats and more. There are not many rooms in this hotel and they took very good care of us! Very professional and friendly staff.

Hotel/restaurant in a historic building is centrally located near all attractions and many stores and restaurants, and either a 15 minutes walk or short tram ride from central station. The service by staff, including both managers, was excellent; included breakfast (non-buffet)was nice and plentiful—and manager happily arranged for us to have a wonderful to-go breakfast on our getaway day because of an early flight. Room/suite was very comfortable with a warming fireplace that we enjoyed each day especially because the weather was cold/rainy; minibar includes a nice selection of beer/wine/soft drinks and snacks that are included in the price and replenished daily. Bed was very comfortable. Our room with shuttered windows overlooked the main plaza and was nice for people watching. Very big restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating, and comfortably appointed.

This modern hotel set in an old building is excellent value. Very close to restaurants and attractions. The staff were friendly and check-in easy. There's also a cosy bar for coffee or a meal. The room was very elegant and comfortable.

This is a very clean small hotel, 8 minutes walking from the Central Station and very close to the historical center. The entrance to the hotel is through a bar. The check-in/out is theoretically available online, but the links they provide are not active. So there is a possibility to do it by yourself or by the bar lady. Not a problem. A room is pretty small, but if you have up to 2 trolleys, there's a place to put them on the floor. A bed is comfortable, 4 big pillows. In our room we had 3 windows, one of them could symbolically open. Ventilation is good thought. If you want to see a little sky, ask for the upper floor. We saw just a little from the 4th floor. A shower is comfortable. Warm floor is very nice. Everything is new. Smart TV, very good Wi-Fi.

The hotel is very pleasant and spotlessly clean. One of the highlights is how quiet the rooms are, making for a restful stay. Another important aspect is the exceptional service—Lex at the reception was incredibly helpful with all my travel-related questions and concerns. The entire staff is welcoming and attentive. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near scenic spots, museums, and university buildings.

Lovely modern hotel in a great area. Clean, well-kept contemporary vintage style rooms. Bed was clean and comfortable and amenities were lovely, such as the walk-in rainforest shower. Breakfast was also lovely, small buffet with well-prepared food (scrambled egg, bacon, toast, rolls, pastries, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, cheese ans cold cuts and good coffee). Staff were friendly and helpful and recommended a nice place for dinner. We had a G+T at the quiet little hotel bar and enjoyed out whole time. We will be back!

My stay at The Collector Hotel was a true pleasure from beginning to end. Located in the beautiful city center, this boutique hotel combines modern style with vintage charm. With great attention to detail in the interior design, every corner is carefully and tastefully decorated, making the entire space feel both stylish and welcoming. The staff were friendly, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a personal message and a romantic touch in the room. My room was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and quiet despite the central location. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities were of high quality. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and varied. The Collector Hotel is a perfect choice. I will definitely return!

Charming and friendly hotel that I look forward to returning to. Comfortable bed, great water pressure, beautifully furnished and yes, the bacon really is tasty. It was easy to find and super convenient for my work trip as our chosen business restaurant was 1 minute away by foot. Even though it is super central, it is still quiet and felt safe as a solo female business traveller. Handy for nearby supermarkets and shopping too. I look forward to coming back and have already recommended this place to colleagues.

I liked everything about The Collector. The room was really comfortable and cleaned everyday, with fresh towels provided when asked for. The bed sheets were changed during my short 4 night stay, which was great. It was in a great location and had a lovely ambiance with a really nice, comfortable and welcoming bar/reception area. I had breakfast there once and it was really good. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The location of the hotel is excellent, with both the major sights and public transport within a few minutes walk. The building itself has been thoughtfully converted into a hotel, to maintain the interest and character of the structure. It was very quiet with minimal road traffic and we did not hear any noise from other rooms. Combined with an extremely comfortable bed, sleep quality was excellent. Normally we would opt out of hotel breakfast, but it was included in the room rate and it was excellent. We particularly like the fact that hot breakfast options were prepared on request, so always came hot and fresh. There was also a good range of cold meats, cheeses and savoury dips as well as a wide variety of breads, pastries, cereals and fresh fruit. All the staff we encountered, at the reception desk, in the bar and at breakfast time were friendly, helpful and thoroughly professional. We would definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity to return to Delft

This is a gorgeous hotel in a historic building. The interior is stylish and comfortable. There is ample place downstairs for reading, playing games and relaxing. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. Shower was powerful and plentiful hot water. Breakfast was delicious. Location is fabulous within walking distance of great restaurants. I recommend booking a parking spot as this was very convenient. Perfect place to explore Delft/The Hague and the coast on our bikes.

The hotel is perfect. The location is central, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, you could tell they really cared about the guest experience. The breakfast was so yummy and I loved that you could personally order eggs, bacon, sausage, other hot items to be made fresh. The beds were super comfy and the rooms were very spacious! We truly loved our visit.

It should be noted that the Michelin-starred restaurant is the main event at this property with the hotel business seemingly secondary. Nevertheless enjoyed fine personal attention by the hotel staff who made a special effort to accommodate this guest's needs. The standard room had all the expected conveniences such as full bath and designer toiletries. No air conditioning, though. The housekeeping staff kept the room clean timely and perfectly. Breakfast is a la carte and can be enjoyed in a stupendously appointed airy breakfast room with generously beautiful floral arrangements. Tall French doors give out onto a lovely terrace where meal service may be enjoyed, weather permitting. In-room breakfast is an option. Convenient and free parking was a plus for me. Even so, Voorburg train station with frequent connections to Den Haag Centraal, for further travel, is only a 10 minute walk. No swimming pool or other exercise facilities. Highly recommended, equally for business or romantic getaway guests. For couples with young children probably less so. Room rate that includes breakfast can make this a surprisingly reasonable priced lodging option. I stayed here on two occasions, both for multi-day stays. Plan to return without question whenever feasible. Staying here is for me a sumptuous treat.

We have not ever experienced the best relaxing time during our holiday until we stayed in Central Park, Voorburg. The room was clean and elegant. We loved so much its luxurious and the most comfortable bed, also the scented bathing set. We woke up fit and fresh in the morning to start the day and enjoyed the delicious breakfast. The room was cleaned everyday. The service was excellent! We were treated with kindness, politeness, and smile. As the hotel is located in the middle of the park, we enjoyed the perfect silence. Our little kid enjoyed seeing some animals in the mini zoo directly next to the hotel. It was the best decision to stay there, as we visited The Netherlands. We will surely come back again!

Everything was exceptional! We arrived and the hotel had parking on the premises. The hotel is beautiful and has a stunning large garden. The room was renovated with a more modern feel but original parts of the structure were preserved e.g large wooden beams which really gave the hotel character. We had a beautiful view over a lake. The staff provided the best customer service I have experienced in my whole life. Everything from greeting us on arrival to serving the food. We celebrated our civil ceremony at this hotel and the private dining room was stunning and perfect for the occasion. The food was incredible and one member of our party said it was the best meal he had in his entire life. It was truly an experience. We had a champagne reception and a 5 course taster menu - everything was exceptional. The wine was also incredible. The real star of the show though was our server who was so attentive. The breakfast the next morning was also incredible. I would really recommend to treat your self to the bigegr selection option. We were all blown away. We couldnt recommend this place more and we will definitely come back. We now recommend this place to everyone we know.

Voorburg has been a favourite place for a break for us for over 20 years: handy (4mins by train) for Den Haag and easy travel across Holland, but a charming locale in itself with a lot of local interest and good restaurants. Our regular hotel there, the Movenpick, closed earlier this year so we tried Central Park. Our initial disappointment at loss of the usual hotel was replaced by pleasure, as Central Park proved excellent in every respect. Comfortable and pleasant room, very secure, good view over the park to the river excellent dinner and staff who really did everything to guarantee we had a perfect stay. We now have a new favourite hotel to stay in this area.

The amenities were first-rate and the showers fantastic, including a light show and multiple showers with great water pressure and plenty of towels. The bed was comfortable, and pillows galore. Most rooms have ocean views, ours (executive level) included a balcony with both chairs and lounges. The staff is young, friendly, and competent. The breakfast buffet was priced right for the quality and quantity offered, and the dinner menu was plentiful, organized mainly around sharing plates (we ate in two of our three nights). There are several beachside restaurants across the street, as is the beach and an afternoon bonanza of windsurfers. The weather during our stay was too cool for lounging on the beach, but the area is huge and can easily accommodate crowds. Parking was plentiful on the street during our stay (but that may not be the case in the summer).

Very stylish, cozy hotel in a great location with a direct view of the sea. Super nice staff, comfortable bed and a large walk-in shower with Byredo toiletries. Very quiet location, close to the beach and to several beach clubs and restaurants with delicious food. I also particularly liked the free access to the Azzurro Gym, which is a first-class fitness club with super friendly staff!

A fantastic and romantic place to stay with a special date. A warm welcome, extremely friendly staff, a delicious welcome drink, a cozy bar where you can relax in one of the cosy seating areas, comfortable and modern furnished room with a hip twist, a delicious breakfast and the sound of the sea make it complete!

Absolutely amazing food and such cozy restaurant and familiar feeling at the hotel. The staff is extremely helpfull and very flexible eg. check-out time! The breakfast is one of a kind - both a huge fresh buffet and a card to order from free/ eggs and pancakes, salats, fruit etc. Absolutely a high level of international standard. The seaview and the presence of the sea was stunning and the light was so energizing. The quality of the bed was amazing - slept as babies and all the complimentary water, coffee, BYREDO shampoo and creme was really overwhelming. We will definately come back. And I can only recommend this hotel maximum on all levels. Hotel Vesper is one of a kind.

We arrived late at night and walked into a room packed of people. It looked like a nightclub / restaurant. We were not sure if this was the hotel but it was. We got upgraded and were taken to our rooms. The view to ocean was great and the room was cozy super modern shower with mood lighting and elegant furnishings. The kitchen had closed at ten but the appetizers menu was mesmerizing!!!! The young staff was extremely attentive, fun and quick to serve. By midnight the lounge was ours. We loved this hotel! We will definitely be back!!!

Had a beautiful room (11) overlooking the canal. Room was large, comfortable with a "kitchen" corner (sink, fridge, micro, kettle, coffie machine, basic cutlery and cups/plates etc.) + coffee, tea, sugar etc. Room also had a small "dining"table with 3 chairs and a sofa in front of the tv. Bathroom good size. Quiet surroundings (we were there Sunday into Monday) Breakfast was nice, even though it was a smaller buffet than usual, since we were only 4 guests having breakfast. There was possibility of ordering bacon and scrambled eggs + other items not on display via the friendly staff. The location of the hotel is quite good: about 15-20 mins walking from the train station and about 10 mins walking from restaurants, the genever museum, the library (which has a very nice cafe). We tried a few eateries: in the center the Stathuis Brasserie, which is open every day, for lunch, and a small hole in the wall thai restaurant a 15 min walk away. Both good in their own way.

Quiet location, yet very close to the historic centre of Schiedam. Welcoming check in with tea and a biscuit while forms/keys were being sorted. Spacious room (without a view, but therefore quiet) with sofa and kitchenette with coffee and tea provided. Nice large bath and bed.

The hotel is in a beautiful old building along Lange Haven canal, when we arrived we checked in a relaxed manner, sitting down with a cup of coffee, and this set the tone of our three days at Stadsvilla Mout. We found Schiedam to be an elegant neighbourhood, and with a map from the hotel we followed a suggested a walk to see the old gin distilleries and windmills, which we recommend. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, with modern tasteful furniture. Wi-Fi worked well and staff was always friendly and available. The tram stop to reach the centre of Rotterdam is 8 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel has a short list of recommended restaurants in walking distance and there is also a local shopping centre nearby in the 'Passage' which we found to be handy. In general one must plan the visit mindful that most shops and museums are closed on Mondays.

Beautiful location in Scheidam, right on the canal. It is just 5 mins walk from the tram stop which will take you into Rotterdam centre in about 20 mins. Lots of lovely local restaurants to choose from. We were able to hire bikes from the hotel and cycle into Rotterdam and out to Delft. The hotel was quiet and very clean and nicely decorated, the room was spacious. Staff were always friendly and helpful.

Because I had a lovely stay last year I wanted to go back this year. Again wonderful stay. I had a room on the 4th floor this time I could see some of the Grote Marktstraat. Room was once again perfect for my needs, staff was friendly, nice atmosphere in the hotel and I love that shower. Due to no fault of the hotel building works were still ongoing, but I found that when I closed the windows I didn't even hear the crane next door being set up, but once the works stopped I would open the windows for some fresh air. I used the laundry room as well. Location is perfect for transport metro right outside the door(in the tunnel) other stops short walks and Den Haag central is walkable too. And lots of restaurants, supermarkets and shops, cinema's etc literally round the corner. And a lot of museums are walkable or a short bus/tram stop away. (I went to two concerts at Amare and really enjoyed that Cove was just a short walk). Do check out the Passage covered shopping arcade next door.

The main benefit was obviously location - in the middle of shops, restaurants and close to train station (10min walk). Despite the crowd outside, it was quietly inside*. The room itself was spacious, clean and well-equipped**. What we liked was that in the room we had both - bath and shower cabin. The shared part was amazing. We reminded it with a cozy café where you can rest/relax, play some board games, read a book and drink a coffee/tea - all was available there. The staff was very helpful, kind and friendly, what we appreciated a lot! When I accidentally left my hoodie in the lobby, the next day it was waiting for me at the reception. We also had a possibility to store luggage in the hotel after check-out for free! We will come back for sure!!!

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in The Hague! The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of everything, with plenty of shopping options nearby, including a mall, multiple passageways, and more. The apartment was a pleasant surprise—spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with both a shower and a separate bath. The kitchen exceeded my expectations with all the essentials, including a full-sized dishwasher. The room was cozy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We traveled to Delft from the Uk for a friends wedding and this hotel was located perfectly to allow us to walk to the wedding as well as explore Delft on the other days. Spent a night here whilst on a business trip. There was a queue to check in but the front desk dealt with it efficiently. Room was good, comfy bed and a decent shower. I had a snack in the bar downstairs - it was too late for dinner, and I found the room service menu hard to navigate (what was on the TV did not translate to what was in the app / QR code). As a single female traveller I’m always wary of sitting in bars but this one was absolutely fine and I felt safe. I was delighted to see a range of loose leaf tea available at breakfast, but there was no breakfast tea available. I asked a member of staff who said they had run out of breakfast tea. I was completely bewildered by this - surely breakfast tea is a standard drink to keep in stock, and an easy one at that given its long shelf life, and something guests might want to drink - it being breakfast after all! Checkout was easy, and I arranged late checkout free of charge due to my IHG status which made my day a lot easier. The housekeeping team were friendly. I’d stay here again.

Convenient location. New, modern and "fresh" hotel. Comfortable bedding. Espresso and tea facilities in the room. The breakfast was the highlight of our stay! Excellent breakfast buffet options, vibely restaurant and friendly service! Bathrooms are simple with no additional amenities though.

This hotel was a great find. Good location, big clean rooms. The rooms had comfortable beds (although the pillows were a little cheap and uncomfortable), and the bathrooms were modern and immaculate. The toiletries game in-room was a bit poor, although they did have some to collect at reception upon request . Lovely front desk staff, and the toothbrushes offered were good quality. Breakfast was quite basic, but serviceable, and the restaurant staff was friendly and professional . The same goes for their bar, where we had snacks and cocktails at with friends. The whole impression of the hotel was of excellent quality basics, with all of the frills removed- and they were not much missed. We'd return here glady if ever back in The Hague.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Excellent location, minutes to everywhere and a tram stop right outside (Kneuterdijk). The room was super comfortable and spotlessly clean and surprisingly super quiet. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast buffet was included and delicious. Super safe and central for my son and I to explore The Hague.

First class hotel. Fantastic looking building from the outside and great conversion internally. Basic, but very useable gym facilities! Very comfortable and stylish public spaces with really nice features, giving a feel of the outdoors. Very friendly and helpful staff (in general). One disinterested girl booking you in for breakfast was the exception on more than one morning. Such an amazing location for exploring the city. A short walk to lots of places of interest. The Easter market we visited was just a stones throw away. The obvious downside to this place is the lack of owned parking facilities and the cost of the convenient car park is horrendous if you don’t prebook. It’s significantly reduced if you do prebook, but the camera recognition didn’t pick up my registration a single occasion. Became a tad tedious waiting for them to respond when pressing to speak to someone from the parking facility. This, of course, is not a reflection or in the control of the hotel personnel.

The village is very quiet and well located - a good starting point for cycling trips, there is a bicycle path along the river to a charming town Leiden, we visited many picturesque places on bikes during the week. The host is really friendly, treated us with the delicious, fresh milk. Highly recommend Rijnhoeve Apartament.

Beautiful location in the middle of the country side, the 2-bedroom apartment we stayed at had a terrace overlooking a small pond, meadows, with ducks, sheep and cattle. The apartments is confortable, simply decorated (some furniture could be renewed) and overall well equipped (kettle, microwave, dish-washer, washing machine). The owner Jan is very nice, welcoming and responsive. Overall a perfect, centrally located place for a relaxing time after city visits. Leiden, The Hague, Amsterdam and the coast are all within 30-min driving distance. It is to be noted though that the location requires a car to explore the neighboring cities since we did not find any convenient public transport. Overall a very enjoyable stay and excellent value for money!

We really loved it here. It was perfect. The accommodation is fantastic, pet friendly and with free parking. It is spacious and has great facilities itself. There are shops a short drive away so we could get food supplies and pubs and restaurants if we didn’t want to self cater. Great views of the countryside and the dike. Lovely for walking the dog morning and night. Lots to see and do, a great base for exploring the area. Will definitely use again.

The apartments are located in the middle of beautiful nature. Morning coffee on the terrace with a view of sheep and ducks. Excellent starting point for excursions. The owner is friendly and helpful. We will be happy to come back.

We loved the quiet surroundings of the farm, its animals, views across the fields and the canal along the side of the road. The peace after Amsterdam was so refreshing. We had a car but took the bus and train into Amsterdam and other places. (Took about an hour) with easy connections, with a 20 min slow walk along the canal to bus stop, or drive to the bus stop and park free nearby. The air conditioner was really helpful as we struck a very hot spell. The host and family were very helpful and kind. Thanks !!!

Nice little hotel not too far from the city centre. You can walk there if you want to experience the feel of the town, or there is a tram line a few minutes’ walk away which runs between the railway station and the beach. The room was a reasonable size, and nicely furnished. It was very clean. The bathroom was modern and had a good shower. There was no air con but a fan was provided. The staff were friendly and there were nice touches such as lemonade and snacks in the room and free coffee downstairs. And the price was very reasonable. I will look for this hotel group in the future when I am travelling.

The location of the hotel is perfect and walking distance to everything. The staff team all speak excellent English, are really friendly and exceptionally helpful we couldn’t have asked for more from them. The breakfast is very very good and of a high quality. The dining area is comfortable and clean and nicely furnished.

The room and bathroom are nicely furnished. The bed is comfy. Breakfast was tasty and there was enough to choose from. Just a pity that for a fresh omelette you must pay extra. But there is enough other food to choose from. I do recommend this place and I’ll stay here again on my next visit to the Hague.

We visited The Hague for a long weekend and once again stayed at the Mövenpick Hotel The Hague. After a very pleasant stay a year ago, we were not disappointed this time either. The hotel is a perfect choice for a visit to the city and for excursions in the neighbourhood, to the sea, Delft, etc. The location of the hotel on the edge of the city centre at the transition to the embassy district is ideal, all the main attractions are within walking distance. The hotel itself has very tastefully furnished rooms with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. The breakfast is very extensive and the food is of high quality. The service is generally very friendly and courteous, and the dinner service in the restaurant is particularly attentive and helpful. We were immediately recognised after a stay last summer and were served with incredible care. All in all, an experience that I expect from an excellent hotel, but which is definitely not a given. We will definitely be back.

The hotel was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Spacious room with a lovely shower room and quality beverages and toiletries. The location was perfect, in a central, up market part of the city and easy walking distance from the station and walkable to the coast. The Hague and this hotel was the nicest place we visited while in the Netherlands and we wished we had more than one night there and couldn't believe what good value it was for a high class hotel. I Would definitely come to the Movenpick Hotel again for a relaxing and comfortable city break.

I loved my stay at Movenpick The Hague. It was just less than 10minutes away from the Den Haag Centraal via Uber. The location is very peaceful and quiet but close to town centre. All of the receptionist were very helpful and kind, they even gave me directions to Halal restaurants which I really appreciate! The room was so amazing, spacious and warm with a very tasteful decor. There was also an Happy Hour for Movenpick chocolates for us to enjoy! The coffee in the restaurant was really good too!

The room and the furniture were exactly like at the pictures. The beds were very nice, big and comfortable. There were all what you need in the bathroom: good clean towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, lotion 👍🏻 The kitchen is small but very useful and nice 👌 You can have very tasty free coffee or tea ☕️ in the hall of the hotel, and for us it was very nice because outside was cold and rainy and my husband had a recovery period after leg accident. The girl on the reception desk was very attentive, friendly and helpful ❤️Her name is Evelina and we were very grateful for her help and support. Near the hotel (5 minutes) you can find very good supermarket (open till 21:00). I advise this hotel 🏨 and with a big pleasure will choose it the next time in Leiden. Anyone who has ever rented a hotel in the Netherlands will understand why we were pleasantly surprised.😃

Beautiful, peaceful hotel with lovely furnishings and a very comfortable bed. Friendly and attentive staff. Lovely location by the canal and we were able to have our breakfast sitting by the window enjoying the view. Supermarket round the corner and restaurants and shops ten minutes away. It’s a twenty minute walk to the station but this means you are not in a very busy area so can enjoy the restful surroundings. An excellent choice

Outstanding little hotel in a city where there is no abundance of hotels. That being said, it is really a pleasure to enjoy the hospitality of the Breathe hotel and its amazing staff. Yes, the rooms are nice and comfortable, yes everything is spotless, yes the coffee machine in the lobby produces great coffee, but by far the most impressive are the staff. Those young people are truly friendly, well mannered, with perfect English, very enthusiastic about their job, completely knowledgable about their town of Leiden, and jovial about their job. Congratulations to the HR who chose such outstanding group of young people to work there.

Everything about the accommodation was wonderful and lived up to expectations. I was looking for a special and romantic place for a weekend getaway with my partner, and staying in this castle was perfect for this. Parking at its park was simple and easy, the staff were very helpful and accommodating, and the room was delightful. I booked the luxury suite, and it definitely fit the bill! Very spacious room, comfortable bed, great bathroom facilities (shower and bath), and overall beautiful décor. We also had dinner and breakfast at its restaurant, and I would recommend them both!

Rooms were lovely, well set out and clean. Bathroom was large with a shower and a bath with toiletries, slippers and robes. A minibar was in the room plus a kettle, coffee maker and coffee etc. We had a lovely view of the rear gardens, lake and fountains. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was a good continental served to the table with choice of breads, ham and cheese. Juice was fresh orange. They went out of their way to find something suitable for our vegan daughter - gluten free bread, soy milk.

We had are very warm welcoming upon arrival. The lady at reception was extemely helpful to make us settle and to find our way around the location. The room was very large and comfortable with beautiful views over the garden. It is a very peaceful location in a stunning surrounding. Breakfast was tasty and very generous, good selection of food and drink. Again, service was excellent and very friendly.

I stayed at YAYS The Hague Willemspark by Numa with my son, and we really enjoyed our time there. The apartment was modern, clean, and well-equipped — having a kitchen with a dishwasher was especially convenient when traveling with a child. The Wi-Fi was stable, and the air conditioning kept us comfortable during warm days. We also really appreciated the laundry room in the building — it has modern washing machines and dryers, which made things so much easier. On the ground floor, there’s a cozy area with a coffee machine and tea, which was a nice touch and perfect for a little break while my son rested. The location is great: just a 15-minute walk from the train station and city center. There are tram stops, shops, and cafés nearby — everything is within easy reach. The neighborhood is quiet and green, which is important when traveling with kids. The staff was very kind and responsive. The only small downside was the lack of daily cleaning, but with the laundry facilities available, it wasn’t a big issue. Overall, YAYS The Hague Willemspark by Numa is a great option for families visiting The Hague. We would definitely come back!

Well furnished apart-hotel with all what you need to manage breakfast - lunch or light dinner and clean up afterwards. We had a one bedroom apartment with the youngsters in the sofa. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and nicely decorated. Well insulated though you can still hear the traffic. There is a lot of fine restaurants in the neighbourhood. Only downside was that the Sofa bed was a bit noisy. We’ll go back for sure.

Great place to stay! Only 15 minutes walk from central station and the city centre. The neighborhood the building is in is lovely itself too, with lots of nice restaurants and bars. The apartment was beautiful, very clean and had everything I needed. Bed was comfy and the WiFi worked really well. Would definitely stay here again!

Our third-floor room was spacious, comfortable, and had a great view. We loved the small kitchen and large shower. We used the luggage storage before and after check in/out and the laundry facilities, too. All were user friendly, clean, and not over crowded.

Had a wonderful stay here. Great location for the beach and the centre. Great restaurants nearvy. Bed was comfy, pillow not so much, but ok. Wonderful, friendly staff. Our room had everything we needed. Listed for 4 people, I think it would be a challenge for 4 adults, as there would not be enough storage for suitcases. Worked with two. Very quiet. This was before Numa took over so can't comment on any changes they may implement.

Modern, stylish, and thoughtfully designed bathroom. I really enjoyed my shower experience! The bathroom amenities are from Zenology, which smell fantastic! Staff was friendly and accommodating! The Bar was not open everyday of the week and the breakfast was a bit letdown - I guess this has to do with to the hotel being quite empty during this period. It was disappointing that I didn't know about the bar's operating days at the time of booking. Nevertheless, I would stay there again but only when the hotel would be in full operation! Thank you for our great stay!

Everything about our stay was excellent! The staff were great especially Andrea in the restaurant during breakfast. Speaking of breakfast; it's the best hotel breakfast we've had by far. The room is clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Nice shower too. Location is also excellent for touring The Hague, walkable to most attractions and the area has tons of shopping. Tram station just around the corner too.

I stayed 6 nights in this hotel in August 2025. It’s really well located, right in the very center but still peaceful and quiet. From the positives: very comfortable bed, super silent AC, great breakfast with both buffet and a la carte menu, pleasant and helpful staff at the reception desk. The main negative is the housekeeping and cleaning, it is inconsistent (on some days well cleaned, mini bar replenished etc.), and on others practically nothing has been done. The shower gel in my bathroom was over and the staff didn’t replenish it. I deliberately took the bottle down off the wall holder and put it on the bathroom floor to get the cleaning personnel’s attention, but when returning to the room empty bottle was still on the floor. The next day I reported this at the reception desk, they promised it would be taken care of, but unfortunately still an empty bottle welcomed me when I came back in the evening to the room. This is clearly unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. In summary, had it not been for the poor cleaning and housekeeping I would have been more satisfied with this hotel.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. The hotel is right next to the palace and we got to see the arrival ceremony for an ambassador whilst having breakfast. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. Previously a bank there are lots of nods to this in the decor. They even have a meeting room in the huge vault. Rooms are comfortable, I had to ask reception to switch air con to heating mode. Everything needed was in the room - hairdryer, robe, slippers etc. The spacious shower was great. Complimentary water although this wasn't topped up during our 5 day stay. You could select not to have your room cleaned each day in exchange for a free drink voucher which is a nice option. Breakfast was good quality, relaxed and enjoyable. We didn't realise that the tourist tax was per person per day so this was an unexpected cost on check out of nearly 150 euros. The location is great with all the main attractions easily accessible from here. I would recommend a stay here.

We stayed for three nights and can't thank the team enough! Our room was spacious and comfortable, the staff were friendly and always helpful while breakfast was the perfect start to each day! The hotel is in a great location - central but not too noisy and right opposite a royal palace! We arrived by taxi but there is an underground car park around the corner.

This was the first hotel we stayed in on our tour of Holland. It certainly set the standard for our trip. The hotel is set in traditional buildings facing a canal in Old Leiden. We were warmly greeted on our arrival before being shown to our lavishly decorated room. The hotel buildings are narrow and tall like most of the old Dutch buildings and have been sympathetically renovated with many of their original features. This includes the staircase which is steep, narrow and winding. Taking our suitcase up to our room was challenging but we were assisted by the willing receptionist. I have to say it was well worth it, our room was stunning with lovely view over the canal. The room its self was fresh and clean and contained everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was optional and we did opt for breakfast, which although it was quite expensive, it was well worth paying for. There was a great choice of hot and cold food and drinks that were all freshly prepared for you. In particular the extensive egg and tea menu's were quite impressive. The breakfast room itself was exquisitely decorated with panels of Dutch landscapes to browse whilst you ate. Old Leiden was also a beautiful part of the city and our hotel was the perfect base.

The hotel has a lovely canal side setting in two historic town houses and is conveniently located 15 minutes walk from the historic town centre. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and we were glad that we had booked a car park space in advance as the hotel has some convenient secure parking a minute's walk away. Breakfast was lovely - continental with yogurt, fruit, granola, cheese, ham & eggs. The hotel helpfully provided me with gluten free rolls & granola which were much appreciated (I am coeliac). The room had a small terrace and what I'd describe as a king sized (rather than super king sized) bed. The room was compact but clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel and Leiden itself as a charming & historic place to visit

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent - quiet at night but a short walk to the shopping dining and tourist attractions. We stayed in the two bed apartment which was beautiful and spacious with kitchen and laundry facilities as well as a small private roof terrace. There was an issue with a leaking shower which proved difficult to rectify but the staff made every effort to fix this and fairly compensated us for the inconvenience. Overall we loved our stay and would stay here again.

This is a historic hotel on the main square in the village of Hoek van Holland. The staff were without fail friendly & helpful. We had the best night's sleep here of our entire 2 week trip! The room was wonderful - with a mezzanine for the comfortable bed. An amazing shower! The breakfast was very good, and the evening meal in the restaurant was splendid. This hotel is very well placed for the ferry to Harwich, the Metro to both Rotterdam, Scheidam - and now - to the beach.

Clean and comfortable hotel, spacious room and bathroom, breakfast has plenty of options. Various restaurants in de neighbourhood. Staff friendly and helpful.

Really good location for getting around. Lovely spacious room and good options for breakfast. There were 2 supermarkets close by and the the train station was literally across the road which made it easy getting into Rotterdam. There was free parking close by as well. The beach was a few minutes drive from the hotel, with several beach bars and restaurants. The bar next to the hotel opens late so we could have a drink before returning to the hotel on Saturday night.

Staff was absolutely amazing and super helpful! The room was very spacious and clean. We loved the coffee machine in the room, beds were very comfortable.

The breakfast buffet was delicious and inclusive with the food and they had a lot of options. The dinner was delicious. The room was comfortable and had everything one needs for a stay. What I really liked was that the toilet and the shower were in separate rooms. The bathroom was pretty clean and very good. The beds were also very clean and comfortable to sleep in and there was a lot of pillows.

“Great family stay – very good value for money!” We stayed as a family of four and really enjoyed our time here. The hotel offered one of the best price/quality ratios compared to other places we’ve stayed. The rooms were spacious and clean, and since the hotel is quite new, everything felt fresh and modern. Breakfast was definitely a highlight – lots of options and everything was tasty. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made us feel very welcome. The only downside was the bathroom setup. There was no bidet in the main bathroom, and while there was a separate toilet with a bidet, it didn’t have a sink, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for families.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The design is modern and stylish, and everything was exceptionally clean. The beds were very comfortable, and we really appreciated having a choice of pillow softness. The soundproofing in the room was excellent. Free parking was a big plus, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The location is very convenient, especially if you're traveling by car. Overall, a fantastic stay - highly recommended!

The room we booked was very spacious and clean, with everything we needed, tea & coffee making facilities were provided. The bathroom was large and included a large bathtub and separate shower. We found the staff to be very polite and helpful. There is a large free car park at the hotel, which was a bonus. The room was very good value for money.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The public areas are beautiful and my room on the landing was luxurious and quiet. All staff without exception were warm, welcoming and helpful and the location is absolutely perfect for everything you would want to do in the city. I really loved my stay here which included breakfast in the rate - I wouldn’t pay the extra €35 if not as it wasn’t that special. Also, a bottle of still water for my room was complementary one evening but the next when I asked for sparkling it was €9 - go figure! These are minor issues compared to my overall experience which was positive and enjoyable.

Very central location, large room with a nice bathroom featuring separate shower and bathtub. Large and comfortable bed. Gym a bit small and crowded, pool also rather small. Dinner options a bit limited on a Monday night. Breakfast good with good coffee which did not come out of these horrible self service machines but was brought to the table. Would stay there again!

breakkie is very nice although I don't eat a big breakfast so it was really for my family. If you want something smaller they also cater for that without charging the full buffet breakfast so I find that fair and reasonable. If you would like a change of scenery there are places nearby which have nice breakfast offerings but the Des Indes restaurant atmosphere and service is unique and comfortable. We loved our suite and offered the hotel some feedback which they noted. That kind of attention is scarce and another thing that makes us go back only to this hotel when we stay in The Hague. Despite the detailed attention, the hotel is also very discreet and you never feel everyone is watching you.

Everything about this hotel was 5 stars! The building is absolutely beautiful and grand, from the lobby and restaurant down to the sinks in the rooms. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We mentioned on our reservation that it was our anniversary and the staff reserved a romantic dinner by candlelight and included a dessert and stuffed animal complimentary. The location is amazing as well. You are steps away from Escher in the Palace and a 3 minute walk to Mauritshuis. We only stayed for 2 nights but we wished we could have stayed longer!

I would highly recommend staying at Residenz Stadslogement. This hotel is a historical, luxury, boutique hotel. The hotel is located outside the centre, however is near trams which take you into the centre. Frank was very helpful in providing knowledge of the area. There is parking outside, however you must pay which Frank will give you a parking display sign for the residential area. We had a lovely, spacious room with an open fire and walk in shower. The Double bed was very comfortable and allowed you to adjust it if you wish to watch TV. My partner and I had breakfast in our bedroom and it was amazing. Best breakfast as it included, meats, cheeses, fresh homemade orange juice, croissants, fruit salad, jams, eggs and toast. There are lovely cafes and restaurants from walking distance of the hotel. Fresh bakery’s with tasty cakes. The hotel is also a 10 minute drive from the sea front, which we drove up and walked around the pier. Overall, a very welcoming experience and we will defiantly be back.

This bed and breakfast was the most charming, historical place we ever stayed in. It was a great location with museums and shopping opportunities within a 15min walk. The beach can be reached in 5-7min by car. We were able to park right in front of the property! The rooms were very clean, comfortable bed and the lovingly prepared breakfast gave us the right start into the day! The staff was absolutely EXCEPTIONAL and so welcoming! Very lovely hosts who made sure we felt like at home at all times!! I have never felt so welcome anywhere! Thank you!!

The room was amazing — really comfortable, and the overall vibe made it feel extra special. The staff were lovely, so friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Breakfast totally exceeded our expectations. What really made the trip even better was the location — it was just a short bus ride to the beach and an easy tram ride to the shopping area. Everything was so easy to get to, which made exploring really fun and stress-free.

We really enjoyed our three day stay here. The room was clean, spacious, quiet, nicely furnished and comfortable. There were some very nice touches like fresh flowers in the room and the service was perfect. The free breakfast was a real bonus - the food was of high quality and we got exactly what we asked for each morning. We would definitely recommend the hotel to other travellers.

Amazing experience! Me and my fiance celebrated her birthday and they really accommodated us with some extra touches! Beds were comfy, bathroom roomy, everything was clean, amazing laundry and common areas, staff was very approachable and helpful with all our needs. The view was also amazing with the sunset and then the night over the city, will definitely go there again, in Delft or if I see it in other cities!

The hub is just a great place to be. The facility is modern and new, the breakfast is amazing, the room is nice, everything is clean, and the location is wonderful. It is a fun place to hang out too. The area is safe and convenient to town. We enjoyed our visit to this property.

As expected for this brand downstairs reception area very well designed welcoming with cafe bar and break out seating and work areas. Reception could benefit from a more clearly delineated area. Very clean with comfortable bed and linens. Fast wifi Minor but the one lift often busy or with gremlins stopping at every floor with no one there. Would definitely stay again

We had a coffee maker in our room but as we were on the ground floor, it was easier to get coffe from the big machine which provide a variety of coffe choices. The bed was very comfortable. The best thing was the convenient location, across the street from the Mauthuis and within walking distance for everything The tram stop is virtually in front of the hotel providing a quick ride to the central station when carrying your bags. Otherwise just walk. I think for everything it offers this hotel is a bargain.

The apartment was as described, and very comfortable. Happy hour snacks were delicious. Great, walkable location close to tram; 15 mins walk from main train station. Good quality toiletries. Good, strong hairdryer. Very comfortable mattress and pillows. Breakfast was fine. (Remember to book your breakfast time slot.) Excellent front desk staff - friendly, helpful and great at giving info.

A good stay here in the centre of The Hague. 2 tram lines nearby inc 1 out the front. the centre is all walkable from here to the squares, the bars and the ice cream shop. A great concept as a hotel almost an appartment in it own right so you can stay here and cook for yourself in the kitchen - everything such as pots and pans was there. nice big rooms, big TV and AC as well. There is an underground car park which is acced to the rear, you need to go over the pavement to join the 1 way street from the main road - we missed it the first time as it is not obvious. 25 euros per day Breakfast is great but the cupboard they serve it in is a bit small and crowded and there are not enough seats in the atrium for everyone to have breakfast when they want it so they have a booking system which works well - you can also take the breakfast to your room as there are tables and seats in the room. Dissapointed by the internal noise from the atrium where for some strange reason they only fitted single glazing between the room and the atrium so some noise does travel. Particularly sounds like cups being stacked in the breakfast area. They have free all day coffee from the coffee machines in the lobby and a ittle reception a couple of nights a week so if you were in town on your own and want to meet some other guests this is possible. overall a good stay and we would stay here again.

We stayed for 2 nights at Staybridge Suites, and we liked the location and staff so much that we extended our stay for another 9 days. Staybridge Suites occupies the site of a former embassy building in The Hague's historic quarter. No other hotel has such a commanding view of The Hague's defining landmark. On late afternoons, from the hotel's street-side rooms, the Parliament buildings appear yellow and sometimes even red, and on dark winter mornings, the gray shapes look refined, especially from the street level. Our room was always clean, and we looked forward to the free breakfasts because of the delicious and varied pastries. We enjoyed the free washers and dryers. We are most grateful for the hospitality of all of the staff. Whenever he was on duty, the day manager, Randy showed concern for our enjoyment of Staybridge and the Hague. When my wife broke her wrist, he provided advice and first aid. Aday contacted the hospital for us, and after the cast was on my wife's wrist, Silvia helped find materials to protect it from water when showering. We recommend suite 203 for the convenient rooms and gorgeous picture postcard views from both windows. Our rooms were clean, and the location is absolutely central. We feel Staybridge Suites provides an affordable, unique value in the heart of The Hague.

My partner and I recently stayed here for a few nights. We had a great time and would definitely go back. It’s in a brilliant location, and we found it nice and quiet. Our room was spacious and we appreciated the sofa and kitchen facilities. The hotel has some really nice communal, lounge areas, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I appreciated the affordable and convenient bike hire. My only very minor grumbles are that our bathroom looked a little tired, and they ask that you book a slot if you want to eat breakfast in the communal areas - that’s a little bit of a hassle, but as an alternative you can take breakfast up to your room instead

Gorgeous view from the breakfast tables looking straight out over the beach. The breakfast itself was also all we needed and more. Very friendly service. Our children could even watch us out the hotel room window as we did a refreshing morning dip in the winter sea. Would highly recommend and we would love to stay again.

The room was a single room but excellent value for money. The room was clean and tidy with a nice view. The window also fully opened which was nice to allow a good amount of fresh air in. The Shower was excellent and towels and shower gels were provided. Whilst my room did not have tea/coffee facilities, the hotel did provide free tea/coffee from the machine in the entrance foyer. There was even a fridge with free ice creams :-) I had breakfast on one of the mornings and it was very nice.

The location is so convenient for the train and bus station. The rooms are well sound proofed and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The shower was also great. We had booked the breakfast and there was a reasonable variety to choose from. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The hotel is right next to the train station which was perfect for us. It is still very close to the city centre and all the main attractions are in a walkable distance. A beautiful hotel. The service staff were welcoming and always friendly. The breakfast was perfect and the rooms spotless with everything you need , including a coffee pod machine and iron. Close to lots of bars and restaurants. I could give it a perfect score but they have blocked the tv from casting from my tablet and using my firestick so there is little choice. I travel constantly and as I’m single I enjoy watching a film later at night. I’ve never encountered this issue anywhere. Yes I know it’s not very important to anyone else 😂. Get used to the large square hard pillows. It’s the norm in the Netherlands and Sweden etc. I find it difficult to get comfortable with them. From an eco point of view I do wish hotels would leave guests the choice of not cleaning the rooms every day with new towels etc. The cost of staff, washing etc must be crazy. I stayed four nights and would be happy to tidy my own room every other day perhaps. At least give us the option.

This hotel is a true pearl in Den Haag – rich on an impressive history and therefore charming, cozy, and yet quiet. The team is extremely friendly and always ready to help, making the stay most enjoyable. You could rent a bike here, savor a nice breakfast or take a short walk to the city center, because it's super close. Simply perfect! The rooms are modern and spacious yet warm and inviting. They come with a coffee/tea machine AND a bathtub - how cool is this! Especially after a long day on your feet.

A lovely alternative to the big chain hotels in the heart of Hague. Located in an area with a plethora of restaurants and street cafes and overlooking at the rear a green park and the Nordeinder Palace. The room was very comfortable with a super comfortable bed and nice shampoos etc in the bathroom. Downstairs there is a relaxed open area to sit and have a coffee or a beer. Breakfast is a buffet and very good. The central staircase is like a study in Escher perspective and adds to the quirky feel. Friendly and efficient staff. Really like this hotel!

The smaller size of this hotel and friendly staff makes it feel more like a bed and breakfast place than a hotel. Which is a good thing! We stayed for two nights and found it to be quite enjoyable. The place was very clean and our room, which we received a free upgrade, was spotless. Thanks very much to Jamie at the front who welcomed us and was very friendly. The breakfast was good and just what a person would need to start the day. Nice little quiet courtyard to have a drink and relax in was a nice bonus. The hotel is about 12-15 minute walk from the train station and about the same to the sites to see in the town itself. Big bonus is the two minute walk to the Royal Delft Museum around the corner which was actually quite fascinating to see. The Museum also has a nice little restaurant there with outside garden to enjoy.

Absolutely lovely cosy little hotel near city centre of Delft. Very nice modern room, quiet location in residential area. Immaculately clean. Friendly staff. Free coffee machine in dining room was very much appreciated as we both love coffee. Dining room was beautifully decorated for Christmas and incredibly cosy with lots of candles everywhere, gave us goosebumps! Delft itself was wonderful and is on our list of cities to return to.

I had an amazing stay! It was one of the best experiences I've had. The room and the hotel always smelled wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were excellent. They served a delicious breakfast with a variety of coffee and tea options. Having an iron available was especially useful for my conference presentation. I will definitely stay here again when I visit the Netherlands. It felt like staying in a fairytale hotel, with birds chirping when I opened my windows at sunrise. It was a truly unique experience.

The rooms are lovely, bright and well decorated. The beds are amazing! Extremely comfortable with quality linen and an actual duvet which is extremely rare in many hotels these days. You couldn't ask for a more central location and yet you don't hear the noise from the bars and cafés on the street level. The hotel is within 4 mins walk from a bus and tram stop that will take you anywhere in the city, including the beach and the Central Station which is very useful for day trips to Leiden, Utrecht, Gouda and Amsterdam. The open coffee station serving a variety of coffees throughout the day was greatly appreciated.

My husband and I stayed at the Paleis hotel for 7 nights. Having lived in the Hague I knew the area quite well. Our room was (209) was spacious and beautifully decorated. Numerous restaurants, coffee shops, pubs close by as is public transportation. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I definitely will stay at the hotel again. Our only disappointment was the breakfast (ca. Euros 20 pp). Very expensive for what they offer: eggs, croissants, yogurt, fruit, cold cuts, cereal etc. Around the corner from the hotel is a wonderful bakery: highly recommended for a take out breakfast (less than Euros 10 for 2)

Property condition deserves 3.5 stars, not 3. The deduction of 1.5 stars has to do with some leaking by the windows and a partially torn plastic strip in the shower door. Some minor fixing will make this hotel a great place to stay. The staffers were FANTASTIC. The front desk crew I met, Miranda and Naomi, were very helpful and friendly, . The housekeeping attendant even picked up and folded clothes I left on the floor. The location is good. Tramlines, the central rail station (about 20 minutes walking), shops and lots of restaurants are close by. At the same time, the area is still quiet at night for a good sleep.

Me and my whole family was happy. Close to the station, trams around the corner, shops opposite. Reception staff 10/10. Everyone so nice and friendly. I'll write this here because it's not a defect, but a suggestion: a larger shelf in the shower would be useful, and paying more attention to scrubbing silicones in the shower. Huge fridge for hotel conditions, microwave was a nice surprise (I guess I didn't read the description carefully :). I consider the wide washbasin countertop to be a huge plus. Soft towels, fresh bedding, comfortable beds.

The property is modern, well-maintained, and ideally located with easy access to public transport and nearby attractions. We even had dinner at the hotel restaurant one night—the veggie burger was tasty and the fries were absolutely delicious! The only thing I’d suggest is switching to softer toilet paper—the current ones were a bit too rough, almost like sandpaper. Just a small change that could make a big difference!

Just back from a 2 night stay at the Moxy. Hotel is ideally located with tramline nearby and less then a 5 min walk from Den Haag Central train station. From the front door you are straight out onto the main shopping strip, with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Rooms are clean and insulated from outside noise. Recommend a city view room. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. Would stay here again, and definitely recommend it.

The hotel is very conveniently located - 5 minutes from Den Haag Centraal station, Mauritshuis, Binnenhof, and good eating places. The rooms are basic, but clean and spacious enough. Most of the staff were friendly, helpful, and courteous. Our stay had breakfast included and buffest breakfast was sumptuous with a great variety of choices and items. The dining room offred many eating options, drink services, and board games to play. The price was a bit high but in line with the rate at other hotels. Overall, we had a very satisfactory stay at this hotel during our visit of Netherlands.

I loved the Moxy! Great vibe, very convenient location near the train station and walking distance to the museums. I stayed four nights while visiting my daughter who studies at the University nearby and it was perfect. I did not eat in the restaurant but did have a drink at the bar and the staff were all super friendly, chatty and nice. Rate was very good for the quality and I would stay again!

I liked the room, the Espresso Machine with pods, everything was clean, the shower is great, beds comfprtable, I liked being next to the Metro and watching the trains go quietly past, there is an Albert Heijn store nearby which is selling excellent food at a reasonable price, but they dont accept Visa or Mastercard so you need to take Euronotes unless you use one of the other shops that does accept UK debit cards. The restaurant is impressive and spacious with plants and a bar, the staff were welcoming and friendly, there is a Lifeboat Station just outside in the Nieuw Waterway which is great for watching the Ships, this Hotal is very close to both the Metro and the Stena Line Ferry. I'm looking forward to coming back again, 11/10 Excellent.

The rooms are spacious and the beds are separated also the duvets are separate which is very nice. There were plenty of extra pillows. Wide choice of television channels with Netflix as a bonus. Everywhere enough sockets and the possibility to ventilate with either air conditioning or an open window. Handy was the small refrigerator. Coffee (Nespresso) and tea facilities were fine. In-room safe also convenient. Shower and bathroom fine with enough space to put your things down. The dispensers in the bathroom are convenient and better for the environment. Parking is free at the hotel. Quiet location and perfect if you want to get to England by boat early. There is a traintrack nearby I don't mind but it could be a dealbreaker for someone else.

Reception friendly and helpful (we had a car problem and they did their best to help). Room compact but very comfortable and ideal for an overnight stop for the England ferry. Beautiful weather and the location made it a pleasant location, view over the port. Beautifully renovated building with fascinating history. Breakfast at Hotel America - just a short stroll away - ideal start to the day!

The room was perfect and super luxurious for the price. They had thought about the little things that make you feel welcome, like chocolates and good night cards on the pillows. It was spotless. The staff were so friendly as well and the dinner we had in the restaurant was fantastic.

The hotel decor and furniture are very comfortable and is decorated in a cozy Dutch style. The breakfast at the restaurant has many great options and the wait and kitchen staff will quickly prepare hot items upon request. But what makes the hotel so great is the amazing staff. They are so friendly and helpful. Several members of the front desk staff went above and beyond during my stay, making this a very memorable visit to this hotel and to the Netherlands.

The cosy atmosphere and perfect location is unbeatable. We enjoyed having breakfast outside at the terrace where we also had drinks in the evening. The restaurant Sophia is always an excellent alternative, if you wish to stay in the hotel for lunch/dinner. The team is very friendly and the rooms reflect the tradition style of the hotel! For longer stays we recommend the Royal rooms with balcony!

The Carlton Ambassador is ideally located in the embassy area of The Hague, a quiet, green zone at walking distance from various more lively places. The hotel enjoys a classic but modern design and it is impeccably maintained. The not very high ceilings transmit a cosy feeling. Our bathroom was relatively small, nicely decorated with Delft Blau tiles. Staff is very kind and helpful. We had a special request and the staff helped us a lot on that. We went to the Sophia restaurant only for the excellent breakfast. All in all, a very good experience and a highly recommendable hotel.

The room was wonderful with enormously big and comfy bed, good size and facilities, I appreciated a separate shower and bathtub, and a minibar. The highlight of course is their spa center, very clean, modern, great swimming pool, awesome outside chillout area. The gym had all the necessary equipment, and having a free personal trainer was a big plus. Thank you so much, I had a wonderful time!

A large international type hotel. Check in was quick friendly and efficient. Our upgraded rooms were large and comfortable with a huge king size bed. The bathrooms were large with both bath and walk in shower. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very good indeed with everything you could want including freshly cooked eggs and omelettes cooked in front of you as you wait. Fruit , cereals, cold meats and cheeses etc etc etc. all in a large breakfast room where space was never an issue. The one let down I thought was the bar / restaurant. Limited menu and seating. Despite there being an enormous bar serving area there was very limited seating if you just wanted a drink with almost all tables reserved for eaters. The hotel has a huge car park which always had plenty of room but at €25 per night it doesn’t come cheap. Get the ticket validated at check in and then you use the same ticket for entry exit throughout your stay. I would definitely stay again but maybe eat elsewhere before returning to the hotel.

I stayed here for 1 night on business. Check in was simple and the staff polite and efficient. The room was large with good views and all the things you expect from a quality hotel. The bed was firm and very comfortable. The choice at breakfast was good with fresh juices and delicious pastries. Overall a good experience and will definitely stay here again. Only downside is distance from the centrum, however it’s on a tram line which will take you there in 10 minutes.

A lovely hotel in a great location. Staff all very pleasant and professional. The family room was spacious for 2 adults and 2 children. Air conditioning settings in the room were spot on .... not too hot or too cold...and WiFi worked perfectly. Very modern shower and plenty of towels, changed daily. Rituals toiletries in the room and the unmistakable Rituals scent on entering the hotel is a really nice touch. A lovely bar area where we finished both evenings with a few cocktails. The bar manager, Indra(?) really made such a special effort to ensure that the service was excellent and the cocktails exceptional. Would definitely recommend!

The receptionist are exceptionally nice and helpful. Fast and efficient. I would like to thank all of them I just checked out today and stayed for 3 nights. I do not remember their names but they where all helpful especially the team that I met when checking in and checking out. The room was exceptionally clean. The sheets were crisp. I usually travel with my own sheets but did not use them. The breakfast was very diversified and tasty. The breakfast staff were very efficient and cleaned everything promptly. A good selection of teas and food.

The room we had was spacious and lovely. A big shout out to the cleaner we had. She was fantastic. Check in was swift and staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic and staff constantly were topping up food and refreshment (kudos to them). Very comfortable and cozy for us travelling as a family.

Reception staff are very professional and helpful. The location is great. Easy walking distance of train stations, trams, bars, restaurants, and shopping. Bar staff make gorgeous margaritas; all very friendly and customer focused.

Also only 2 creamer sachets...which werent replaced each day, neither were the little biscoffs...such a tiny thing but made a difference....

A great location near Delft station and city centre. Our room was comfortable and clean, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good. Our only comment would be that it was sometimes noisy at night but it isn’t the hotel’s fault that people are loud in the early hours - we didn’t use the provided ear plugs, probably should have. We would recommend this hotel as it is so convenient for the main places of interest in Delft.

A little gem of a hotel in Delft. Lovely stylish room, comfortable bed. Bath was a bonus. Right by 2 canals and very central. Parked at the recommended multi-storey 5 mins walk away. Comfortable seating area, bar and games if wanted. Loved the hotel and Delft - a pretty, quiet, town. Delft Pottery museum worth a visit: the ceramic staircase and architecture are beautiful.

We stayed at this hotel on our way back from Keukenhof and to visit again Den Haag, the old Voorburg and Schevingen. We selected this hotel upon its location and easy access to public transportation to avoid trafic and expensive parking fees. This was a great choice and a successful experience. The hotel is top. Its infrastructure and accesses are perfect. The people are friendly, super helpful and supportive. The checking was a pleasure and very professional. The rooms are very well equipped (hairdryer, coffee machine, ironing facility, safe ...). The parking is a great added value to leave the car safe and take the public transports that are just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The bedding was go great confort and rooms are very well decorated and have large shower which is a plus. The breakfasts had a large offering of cold and warm dishes to please all and any possible constraints. The hotel offers. self service shop that is also very useful and easy to use. The hotel as a side restaurant and bar to allow for a late drink or a diner if you wish to stay inside. Conclusion: very happy and delighted with our experience. We will use this venue again for sure

Obviously newly acquired and refurbished! Upon check in, staff were really helpful and friendly. All hotel essentials explained with what seemed to be a sense of pride. From the small, but decent gym on top of the hotel to the quirky, but very good restaurant attached. The hotel room had plenty of space, very comfy bed, settee, coffee machine & smart tv detailing things in the locality. Was very happy and comfortable here. Right next to the train station, so easy to commute anywhere. Very short walk to the town centre littered with nice independent shops and restaurants. A great location that I’ll chose again if working close by.

This modern, recently refurbished hotel was great. The staff could not have been more helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was well maintained, the bed comfortable, the coffee excellent and the bathroom clean and hygienic.

We had a very good stay at this hotel. Great check in experience. The hotel is in great shape. Everything worked, everywhere was very clean and well maintained. Very large room but strangely the bathroom was tiny which didn’t make sense considering the size of the room. Extremely comfortable bed and good blackout curtains lead to great nights sleep. Breakfast was excellent with wide choice . Very good value parking available in the underground car park if the free parking opposite is full. There are a few restaurants within a 10 minute walk and the railway station is immediately in front of the hotel. The one negative I can come up with is that the bar is very expensive. We would definitely recommend and stay again when in the area.

Breakfast was varied and delicious with both hot and cold food. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, especially the lady who served breakfast and the man on reception during the day. The hotel didn’t have its own parking. Parking was available right outside alongside the canal, this was expensive at €30 for 24 hours, with no choice to pay for a shorter time, however we found this very convenient. There was a car park a short distance away across the canal, but I don’t know the price. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Royal Bridges and would love to return.

My husband and I had a great stay at Hotel Royal Bridges during our holiday to the Netherlands. We were looking for a quiet, well appointed room, 5 minutes from the main square of Delft in the old city that was reasonably priced, and we were not disappointed. Are room on the second floor was tucked away and had a balcony so we could enjoy the views over the rooftops. The bed was super comfortable, the shower hot and the breakfast, while not lavish, certainly gave a range of options. Very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The Hotel is just a couple of minutes from the train station and the attractions and restaurants in the centre of Delft. Perfect! My room was on the 2nd floor looking out at parts of the roof, but I didn`t mind as there wasn’t any outside-noise on this side. The rooms themselves are not soundproof so you hear your neighbours coming and going a well as talking (if they do. I was in luck and had not very noisy neighbours). The bed was extremely comfortable and clean – the best I had in a hotel yet. The bathroom was ok, neither bad nor perfect, and it didn’t have a bathtub but a shower stall which I greatly prefer. The size of the room was for suited for one person, I felt comfy. I didn’t have any breakfast so can say nothing about that. All in all I would choose this hotel again, were I ever to return to Delft!

Fantastic hotel, amazing facilities and wonderful staff. The room was large and comfortable - equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of food. We managed to park right outside the door- at a price, 30€ per 24 hours. No choice of paying for a shorter period, but very convenient. A car park just along the canal on the other side- unsure of the price. Main square with shops, restaurants and historic buildings just a short walk away. Hotel staff went above and beyond expectations to be helpful.

Staff was very polite and professional, willing to do their best to make customer satisfied with the service. Neighborhood, even though surrounded with caffe shops and restaurants is very quiet, especially during the niight when streets, to our surprise, were almost empty. Definitely, good value for money. Excellent choice and we will come back.

A great, friendly clean comfy hotel in a perfect centre location with stylish rooms. The welcome was great, easy check in , the free tea and coffee which you can take to the room is a really nice touch . The room itself was lovely, however there is a shower cubicle with frosted glass which opens directly into the bedroom , the toilet cubicle also opens directly into the room, with the hand basin in the room itself, fine if you're on your own but you may not like that as a couple . The hotel was great value and has some lovely architectural features, I would definately go back . Good quiet air con, and thoughtful details like earplugs ( not that we needed them). 12.00 check out was great .

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel right at home. The room was spotless—clearly well-maintained and cleaned with care. What really stood out, though, was the architecture of the building. Stayed for four nights on business. Overall impression is that it's a decent Hilton in a good location. The Hague is a small city anyway, but the Hilton is within walking distance of some great bars, pubs and restaurants and within easy reach of the beach. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The hotel in general is modern and clean and staff were all extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Small executive lounge but the bonus was the attached roof terrace, which was a suntrap....great to sit out there enjoying the happy hour (two hours between 5pm and 7pm), when some nice complimentary hot and cold snacks, canapes, beers, spirits and wine are available. The lady in the lounge, who's name I cannot remember, sorry, was really lovely and friendly and chatted every evening, making me feel at home. The Blue Bloods restaurant was excellent and I had some very good steak. Breakfast also good in the main restaurant, rather than the executive lounge. I would certainly recommend the Hilton for a stay in the city, either for leisure or business and I would happily return.

Clean, safe, inviting & convenient 4 + star hotel. Rooms were recently renovated and are a pleasurable space. I highly recommend breakfast - it is not just delicious - but presented so well & every morning desire is truly matched. First time staying here and won't be the last. Very convenient location for exploring this glorious city and the surrounding area. The hotel is very modern, but classy, very clean and has all the usual Hilton services. Staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast is delicious. We have just spend another great weekend in this hotel made even better by being upgraded to an Executive Studio. On arrival we were greeting by a lovely young man on reception who was both friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and welcoming which was great as we had our two dogs with us. The breakfast is always a good option with plenty of self service choice to set you up for the day, in the early evening we had a drink and snacks in the executive lounge. We also enjoy a nightcap in the bar area which has a nice vibe and allows you to bring your dogs in. This hotel is also in a great location a 5 minute walk from the centre where you can enjoy lots of shopping and visit the many museums. Overall I would recommend a visit to Den Haag and a stay in this lovely hotel

The hotel is a fairly easy walk from the railway station. It is in quite a central location close to shops, restaurants and bars. We had a room on the 10th floor with good views over the city. The room was spacious and quiet. I was also very grateful that it had a bath as well as a shower. The staff were pleasant, it was a good practical choice in Den Haag. Our only improvement suggestion would be to keep the bar open until later, 11 pm is a bit soon particularly for international visitors.

This hotel is centrally located, an easy 10 minute walk from the central train station. The room was very comfortable, bright and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel was silent, yet full, and the noise insulation of the windows was great. Bathroom in tip-top condition with a huge shower. The room had a spacious desk and sockets plus a comfortable office chair, which I really liked. The breakfast was good value - this was an excellent stay and I would certainly come back to this hotel next time in The Hague.

Great location - 10 minutes walk from Den Haag central and 2 minute walk to well connected tram line. Peace Palace walkable in 30 minutes also. Modern room with lovely ensuite shower facilities. Very large window with good city view. Tea & coffee making facilities as well as a mini fridge. Quiet and modern.

The hotel is within walking distance from 2 major train stations, and tram stop as well. So it’s easy to get around. Despite being centrally located, the rooms are really quiet and peaceful which was a very positive surprise. The rooms come with a decent sized desk, allowing you to do some work. Staff are friendly and helpful. I was offered a welcome amenity as ALL Gold member, and some other perks in lieu of an upgrade due to the unavailability of larger rooms. Downside are the very firm beds, which may not be to everyone’s liking. There also was a minor issue with my sink not properly draining. While the staff were very helpful in trying to organise a fix, including a plumber coming out, the problem never was completely solved (although it improved a bit). This might indicate some bigger issues with the plumbing which may lead to issues for future visits. Also housekeeping needs some eye for detail. It can’t be that piles of laundry and cleaning equipment get forgotten and are left in the corridor until the next day (see picture) But in general, good value for money. Due to the central location, many restaurants and bars are within walking distance, as well as the touristic sites.

It offers the nice welcoming warmth to make you feel comfortable before you get the chance to discover the surroundings. Everything is neat and the staff is amazingly welcoming. I had a cosy room with a perfect view over the city and a nice balcony (where a small smoking area was a huge plus for me). If it wasn’t the windy and rainy time of the year I happened to get in this city - unlucky me!, I’m sure this hotel is a secret treasure spot where from you can start exploring the nice city center during the summer.

The location and the view were amazing. We stayed in the deluxe room on the eighth floor, and every day, the view was spectacular. The breakfast was really nice, and the whole staff was very friendly. The hotel is perfect for a city just as perfect. Delft and the Hampshire is a perfect match.

The room was big, clean and the desk was easy to get work done. The furniture was well spaced out that I didn't bumped into anything. There was ample plugs throughout the room and the bathroom. I love the rain shower and I had a choice whether to use the shower and bathtub. Both the room and the bathroom was well lit. The room had a small balcony and the view from the room faced the street but at night it was quiet. The hotel provided easy access to the plaza and the restaurant.

I loved the view from the window. The breakfast was good with plenty of options, the ground floor is flexible with plenty of spaces to relax, play options for kids or in some cases enjoy live music. The terrace is also nice to have a bit of privacy while enjoying an open view on a small canal with friendly ducks and the relatively quiet city road.

Such a fun place to stay, with the music theme throughout. The room was comfortable and clean, and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet location, but just a short walk right into the centre of Delft, and with a parkland area nearby. We would happily return here.

This is a quirky hotel in a great location in Delft. The rooms are decorated eccentrically. Ours had a round bed and a jacuzzi, with the shower up two large steps from the main level. We didn't try the jacuzzi, but it looked clean, as was the rest of the room. The walls and ceiling were decorated with brightly coloured murals and there were two metal sculptures of figures, all of which we found a bit much. Not very calming, but you might find it fun. Breakfast was very good, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Superfriendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent and yummy! Upon arrival we couldn't wait to unravel the mystery of which room we got. Our themed room took us right into the deepest heart of Down Under Australia 🤙. Including cool paintings on the wall of wildlife Australia, some kind of traditional horn instruments there as well, a cozy round bed and finally a surfboard that led us into the bathroom where an adorable massive boy made sure that we were wasking our hands. We are really happy that we chose Hotel De Plataan in Delft. Can't wait for our return and hope for a jacuzzi room next time. A tip is also to visit Hanno Groots cafe just outside of the hotel. Great drinks, food and vibe!

Its central location means it's just a short walk from the main square, the old/new church, and the Vermeer House, making it an ideal spot. While the rooms are comfortable and somewhat basic, they serve their purpose well, providing a convenient base for exploring the delightful city.

The front desk staff were helpful and polite. I would stay here again. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. They didn't offer any do not disturb signs and did clean our room once without us expecting it. Otherwise, an excellent experience.

Great location - very close to the Den Haag Central Station where the Flixbus, trams, Hop On Hop Off shuttle buses and intercity links are also located. There were various constructions along the path from the Central Station to the hotel, though not the hotel#s fault. Be mindful in case you are carrying big suit cases. The hotel is also walking distance from good restaurants, the nearby part and Centrum where the shops are. Room - reasonably good size and comfortable beds. Mine even had a balcony looking out to the inner part of the building, although it was too chilly to stay outside for a longer duration Staff at Reception - Helpful and accommodating. Amenities and equipment in the room - These covered the necessities - body wash, shampoo, hand wash mild enough for use, towels, housekeeping with an option for you to have this daily or not, safe, hangers for clothes, small fridge and bottles of water. Overall, I will recommend mainly for the location.

The room I stayed in was truly comfortable and inviting. The layout was spacious, and the furnishings were modern and well-maintained. The bed was especially cozy, providing a great night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. The attention to detail in the room's design and amenities was truly impressive, making it a relaxing and enjoyable space to return to.

A really wonderful hotel. It had lovely free coffee and apples in the lobby. The staff were absolutely lovely. Very knowledgeable about the local area and all had a wonderful sense of humour. I absolutely loved my stay here. The rooms need a bit of love - a little dark. The bathroom was beautifully clean. Breakfast wasn’t amazing, but certainly a great way to start your day. The hotel is in a really good area just next to ten station and opposite a park. Walkable to the city centre in about 10 mins. I know a new company has taken this hotel over and I look forward to seeing where they take it! There is a gym next door that you can get a guest pass for. The gym is amazing , but take toiletries and a bottle of water with you.

Just a one-night stay at Uylenburg as we made our way back to the UK. We had a most enjoyable stay. Our room was fine with everything that we needed, such as a comfortable bed and good shower. The buffet breakfast was more than adequate and set us up nicely for the day. We ate at the restaurant attached to the hotel, the Cafe Du Midi, in the evening and really enjoyed our meal. The whole experience at the Cafe was ideal and kudos to the staff who ran it so well. We liked the idea of being in the country but also just a short drive from the City centre, a city well worth visiting.

The property is really pretty, nice clean rooms, and friendly helpful staff. They have a restaurant on site where I had dinner and the food was amazing.

Swimming pool was amazing, and made the holiday. Location was great, in a quiet part of the area but close enough to local amenities. We stayed in a static caravan, about 50 meters from the pool. Campsite and camping facilities also looked clean, modern and fresh, and would consider coming here again with a tent.

Friendly and accommodating staff; great amenities; bikes available to rent with easy ride to the seaside; quiet, picturesque location; cheaper than staying in Leiden for a family, with just a short walk and bus ride to reach the city. Cabins had kitchenette and cookware.

The location was convenient - close to the beach and to Leiden and its lovely museums. The hedge around the mobile home gave us a lot of privacy. The mobile home was well equipped and very clean.

Interestingly, the outside of the building is quite soundproof from the noise of the city, but the interior walls are not--we were able to hear sneezing, snoring, and the alarm in the morning of the people in rooms next to us. It was convenient having a mini fridge in the room, and the shower was really nice. Would stay here again, but will bring earplugs next time in case of noisy neighbors!

This hotel was great, clean, modern, quiet. Right next to the train station and a two minute walk into Leiden with shops & restaurants. All staff were lovely. We loved the location, the nice view, and the cozy design of the room. The self check it went smoothly. The hotel has a variety of snacks, drinks and essential items you might need for your trip, available anytime, on the ground floor, which gives peace of mind. The room was quiet, even if it's across the station, it has a good sound insulation. The bed was comfortable. And they have mini night tables with wireless charging. The air conditioning in the room went well, we could turn it off or adjust when needed, and we could also open the window. The shower we liked a lot, together with the high quality toiletries. This is a modern, well decorated, very well-located, fully automated hotel. The rooms are well-sized, clean, quiet, with very (VERY) comfortable beds. The breakfast is a full buffet served at the sister hotel next door (The Golden Tulip). The hotel is literally 5 minutes from the train station and 10 minutes walking to downtown Leiden or to the University Medical Center. Fantastic finding. If I need to return to Leiden, I would make sure to stay at the VIC again!

What really cool efficiency hotel and super great locale so very close to the beach! Room was almost complete ergonomic perfection. The bed was super comfy too. The only hiccup was the lockers to store stuff pre-check-in wasn’t able to be unlocked via their app or the QR code— so that required the help of the friendly staff person on duty. I don’t know what we would have done if it was beyond the limited hours (1100 to 1700) when a human is there.

The apartment is stunning, it's a very large flat, very clean, with comfy sofa and chairs and very comfy beds. It's also warm and cosy. It's right in the heart of Leiden and so you have lots of cafes, shops and restaurants right outside the door. The view of the canal from the lounge is lovely. Its a 10 min walk away from the main hotel where you collect your keys, but that was fine for us. The photos were taken when we were leaving, rather than when we first arrived, hence the slightly untidy beds and sofa. It was perfect when we arrived.

We had a few days to fill in between meetings and selected Leiden and Hotel Rembrandt. Hotel was wonderful. Well located near lovely restaurants and bars. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was comfortable and quite large. Bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend this Hotel.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable with a good shower and nice bed linen. The location is great with the train station and the beautiful historic town just a few minutes walk away. There are some good restaurants nearby. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel but enjoyed breakfast at some of the excellent local cafes.

The location is close to Leiden Central train station, many restaurants and bars, and a bus stop making it super easy to explore Leiden. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions and needs. The bed was soft and comfortable. It also has an elevator!

We loved our stay at Hotel Sebel. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a great big bed to relax on. It was also so charmingly decorated, a welcome difference from all the cookie-cutter hotel chains these days. There was complimentary tea and coffee in the lounge, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. The location is also perfect for exploring The Hague on foot; there are many fun shops and bakeries in the area, and it is easy to get to the city centre in around 20 minutes.

We had a great stay here while my partner worked in Delft for the week and I remotely. Very comfortable and clean room, great internet connection, and free coffee during the day! The staff is very friendly and helpful as well! The location is good, too, with many great restaurants in the area and the tram just down the road. My partner went back several times after to stay during additional work commitments. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

A great location just outside the city centre with nice restaurants and shops nearby. Direct tram from Den Haag Centraal. No breakfast in hotel, but possibility to eat at partner hotel or numerous cafes in the area. Complimentary freshly ground coffee from 7am - 9pm was a definite plus. Better than expected! The vibe at The Hague (Den Haag) Social Hub, fabulous! The staff were helpful, real friendly and gave us time when we asked questions. The social spaces were great too. A large social room just like in photos, a grand piano, ping-pong table, study nooks, tiny library.. Free washers + dryers ( but you have to download the app & then wait for one of 3 washers & 3 dryers to be home available & then reserve it immediately!) Location: Only a 5-minute walk to a major tram station + huge grocery store, a 5-minute walk to Chinatown and a 15-minute walk to a major shopping district in the city center. The neighborhood felt safe; alive with people, restaurants, bubble tea shops + grocery stores. The room: a good size with a little kitchen: small refrigerator, counter-top electric stove, small sink, cupboards, dishes, coffee and tea + kettle. Our room was clean, had a nice sized TV, ok view out of window, daily house cleaning (except for long stays). Bathroom: excellent hot waster, hair dryer, towels, soap & shampoo. Only complaint: the stove top was push button + took us 15 minutes to figure out how to turn it on. (Hold the "on" button for 5 seconds!) Instructions would have helped. The bed was a bit hard. Otherwise clean, excellent !

Very friendly helpful staff. Lovely toiletries in rooms. Well equipped too with cooking facilities and Nespresso coffee pod machine, fridge and microwave in room. Wifi was excellent. Great central location so just few miles from beach, close to tram stops and train station so can get anywhere quickly around the Hague or back into Amsterdam. Less than 30 min walk from Zuiderpark (if anyone looking to do parkrun).

Great choice. I only stayed for one night, but the room was spacious, the bed really comfy and plenty of amenities - including two bottles of water for the go and a little stroopwafel:). The whole place felt really friendly, staff was nice and it was very clean. The location is really convenient, as you can just take a short walk through the Chinatown and you´re in the city center really quickly.

No frills accommodation on five minutes biking distance to central The Hague. Great breakfast buffet, with very friendly staff (Kash made our day at breakfast 🙂). The place breathes a nice atmosphere of youth, multiple cultures and respect for the environment.

This is by far one of the best hotels I stayed in. It’s cosy and the staff is incredibly nice and caring. We booked 4 single rooms. Many types of tea available for free. 3 types of pillows available. Good size room and bathroom. There are kettles and irons available in self service. One common fridge to keep the food fresh and a microwave. That plsce is clean. Breakfast was buffet style and had lots of choices. Great location, close to restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacies. Only minutes driving to the Pier. Tram stops right in front of hotel. Yet the noise was ok.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was nice and spacious with a good shower room. We liked the convenience of using your phone for all the doors and lifts. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always available. The location was great, the No 17 tram stops right outside and takes you directly to the central train station. The local area was lovely with lots of nice cafes and reastaurants and a great street market nearby on Sundays. We hired bikes from the hotel and they were in good condition and good value with easy locks and gears.

I really like the concept of a hotel focused on reducing its environmental impact. This means there's a common area (the lobby near reception) where you can come in at any time, sit comfortably, and make yourself a cup of tea or coffee from the espresso machine. Furthermore, ironing boards and irons are located on each floor near the elevator. Double windows in the room facing the street, so very quiet rooms The staff, both at reception and at the breakfast counter, are very helpful. The hotel offers a great selection of fresh fruit.

Fresh healthy food, including eggs, yoghurt, a variety of very fresh bread and toppings, a make-your-own little pancakes machine and best of all, a squeeze-your-own orange juice machine. I would like to especially commend Dorottya, as she helped us with a few requests with enthusiasm and graciousness. I cannot recommend this beautiful hotel highly enough.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Johannes Vermeer in Delft. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the old town and within walking distance of all the main attractions, cafes, and shops. The hotel itself has lots of character, with a charming, historic feel and tasteful decor. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One thing to note is that, for the price, it felt a bit stingy that breakfast wasn’t included. Also, the soundproofing between rooms could definitely be improved—you can hear your neighbours quite clearly. Thankfully, during our stay, the other guests were respectful and quiet at night, but it could be an issue if you’re unlucky enough to be next to less considerate people. Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return for the location, atmosphere, and service. A great base for exploring beautiful Delft!

The Hotel was a very nice place to stay in Delft, with an exceptionally beautiful view over the city (as we were on one of the top floors). The building is charming, down to the traditional winding staircase, which was quite alright for us as we were able to carry our bags up it. It was a very comfortable place, and the bathroom was exceptionally nice, clean, and spacious. Delft is a quiet and peaceful place to stay, and it feels very nice to walk around the town, full of lots of trees and beautiful buildings. Thank you for a very nice stay.

I let the hotel know I will arrive early. Easy early check-in, which went so smoothly. Felt very welcome. I asked for an ironing board in the pre-check-in requests ... everything was there, ready when I arrived. The Vermeer hotel has its own bikes to rent, so there are no logistics to wait until rental shops open. Cosy place for breakfast and very good coffee from the bar. Every interaction with the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed my stay at this property. The staff was helpful and answered all my questions kindly. Despite booking a small single room, I was pleasantly surprised to have my own private shower and toilet. The mattress was highly comfortable and everything was clean. Ordered bathroom items online and they were delivered to our room within 10 minutes. Free drink at the bar offered when we opted to not have housemaid services one day. The breakfast was a real treat. As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to have avocado tacos made specially to order, tofu & teriyaki beetroot & salad. The apple cake was the best I’ve ever tasted. Cool arty prints on the wall are for sale. Location great too within the World Trade Center. Couple of minutes walk to the tram or a 20 minute walk into the city. Secure car parking underground. AH shop within the building has the usual snacks if hungry. This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

I had an amazing stay at NH Den Haag – this was already my second visit, and I’ll definitely come back again. The room was very comfortable with a perfect view. The staff were kind, helpful, and allowed me a late check-out, which I really appreciated. I also used the on-site fitness facilities, which are excellent. The breakfast was truly outstanding – a real highlight of the stay. I highly recommend this hotel both for business travelers and for anyone visiting this beautiful city to relax and unwind. The hotel is in a lovely old buiding on a really beautiful street in the centre of Nordwijk (not the part by the sea). It was a great place from which to explore the cute surrounding streets, and there are lots of nice restaurants within easy walking distance. My room was spacious and super clean, the bed was comfy and the shower worked brilliantly. The staff were very helpful and they were able to provide a delicious gluten and dairy free breakfast for me.

The room is spacious enough and ventilated well so it wasn't too hot or cold. The bed is comfortable, the linens, towels and upholstery in good condition and seems new, and the bathroom was very clean. I found all staff to be very helpful and friendly. Check in was very accommodating. Breakfast was excellent

The location although on the outskirts, was close enough for a nice walk into town and to the beach. The three busses we needed for the main ride into Leiden town (the main town with trains etc) was only a short walk away. The room was large and the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of storage for our clothes so that we didn't have to live out of our suitcase all week. The continental breakfast was lovely too, with lots of options available. If you're stuck for places to eat dinner, I recommend Open Doors (the ribs were the most amazing I've ever had) and Ko Sing (everything was freshly prepared and delicious)

Convenient and quiet location very close to railway station, a good base for exploring Rotterdam, Delft and Den Hague. Hop on hop off bus stops at the station. Away from the busy inner city but still close enough to walk. Great breakfast (and chats with other guests) and friendly staff. Supermarket and nice cafes not too far away (recommend Cafe Boon). My room was small but clean and comfortable, could make tea/coffee downstairs at any point. Excellent TV reception. Small shower/bathroom inside room, shared toilet with one other room but wasn't an issue. Steep stairs so anyone with mobility issues might want to specify a ground floor room. Overall very impressed with friendly atmosphere and as a solo traveller I felt very safe.

We had a lovely one night stay at this hotel. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a continental buffet with a great selection of cereals, fresh juices, breads and spreads. There was also meats, pate and cheese and abundant fresh coffee and tea. All in all, we were very impressed with the breakfast. The room was clean and had electrically adjustable beds which were extremely comfortable. We will definitely stay again next time we visit Rotterdam.

All four Bienvenue staff I met were equally accommodating, discreet and very helpful. The location is ideal for someone using the Centraal train/bus station. It is very quiet, charming and residential, with supermarkets and restaurants a few meters away. Also the hotel is facing a lake with beautiful trees and birds/ducks. The room is very clean with a great shower arrangement that works very well. Although the window is far from the shower and there is no ventilation noise nor switch, it seems that the room and shower area are amazingly well ventilated, because after taking a hot shower the vapor doesn't linger and small clothes items I washed dried up very fast. Breakfast was quite nice and didn't leave me craving for anything more. This was a very good value-for-money choice for a 3 day trip being out & about in Rotterdam and nearby towns.

Lovely little hotel located on the quiet street next to the canal and park. 5min away from train station. Walking distance to city centre, restaurants and shops. 30min to Maritime Museum and river banks. We had a top floor room with a private bathroom and balcony. The room was very clean and quiet with comfortable beds. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We absolutely enjoyed the stay.

The room was spacious and had a nice view overlooking a busy road and a park. There was no noise coming from the room. The bed was comfortable. I ordered room service one evening and the meal arrived promptly and was delicious but a little pricey. It was worth paying the money for. The breakfast staff were extremely friendly and helpful. You were able to order fresh eggs of a menu or eat from the buffet. The buffet had a section of cheese, fruits, bread and cereal. The coffee was fresh and they also offer you a take out coffee as you are leaving if you wish to take it. Check out was efficient and quick. A nice touch that the hotel offered was a welcome cocktail on the second night of the stay. I would stay here again.

We absolutely loved this hotel – everything was just perfect! There was nothing to complain about at all. The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. The cleaning was exceptional – truly spotless! Our room was bright, spacious, and beautifully renovated. Everything you might need was thoughtfully provided: shampoo, conditioner, and a luxurious shower gel with an amazing scent. There was even a loofah and bath salts – something I’ve honestly never seen before in a hotel. Every little detail was so well thought out! The location is great too – in a quiet neighborhood, but still very easy to reach the city center. Breakfasts were simply outstanding: delicious, with a huge variety to choose from. We had a special request for gluten-free options, and the staff handled it with absolute care and professionalism. We’re so grateful for that! All in all, an exceptional hotel. I had a great stay at Marriott The Hague. The hotel is very comfortable and well maintained, although you can see some early signs of aging here and there. That said, everything was spotless and in good working order. The location is fantastic – a beautiful, calm neighbourhood with easy access to both the city and the beach. One of the highlights for me was the gym: modern, spacious, and with truly stunning sea views that make workouts a pleasure. Breakfast was fine, though not particularly memorable – it does the job but could be a touch more inspiring given the overall standard of the hotel. All in all, a very positive experience, and I’ll definitely be returning on future visits to The Hague.

Very clean and comfortable room. Staff is amazing! Kind, welcoming, and professional. Did I mention welcoming?? (Smile) We stayed for three days. We are titanium members and had lounge access. Lounge was super clean and had so many food options for breakfast and hors d'oeuvre choices but the best part was Rimon. He is an exceptionally rare individual. He treated us like royalty. Actually all employees from the lounge to the front desk to housekeeping gave superior customer service. We especially wanted to mention Yahya....wonderful person and also an asset to Marriott.

We stayed for one night in a family studio suite. Room was very large giving us and our adult daughter enough privacy through the wall with side opening. Bathroom is ensuite to the bedroom. Hotel has very fresh, upmarket and modern feel with luxurious carpet and beautiful curtains. Marriott bed is always super comfortable. Windows open properly and aircon works. There was complimentary bottle of small water but mini fridge was empty. But again housekeeping issues prevented me from giving the hotel five stars review. They emailed us before about third person in the room, charged for it but did not prepared sofabed. We had to chase it. I also had to point out there was no bathrobes and slippers. They arrived with receptionist in the evening on two attempts. Executive lounge was great to spend rainy afternoon in. It is spacious with plenty of armchairs and sofa. At 5 pm they serve soup and some cold snacks. You can enjoy some limited selection of wines too. There is classical music playing in the background. Earlier on we had some burgers and bitterbollen in the bar which were pricey but tasty. Breakfast in the lounge was limited but had everything you need. Hotel is some pleasant 25 min walk to the city centre with grand embassy buildings, Panorama Mesdag and Albert Heijn on the way. Overall although on quite expensive side and not that close to the centre - we really enjoyed our stay in real quality and comfort.

The hotel itself is lovely. The room had a huge jacuzzi bath, a large shower, a comfy seating area and a small balcony. There was a coffee machine as well as a kettle. Breakfast was good value - although what was available seemed to depend on the time of day. On the Sunday there was a man making fresh omelettes. We had to ask for this on Monday and it did not seem available on Tuesday. There was a good selection of fruit, yoghurt , pancakes, waffles, cold meat and cheese and hot food. All staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel was further from the centre of Leiden than we had expected - it would be useful if the shuttle bus was to run in the evenings and on Sundays. We had a very good meal in the brasserie.

Our second visit - the first 10 years ago. Although the town is growing and evolving, this hotel remains reassuringly the same. The rooms are lovely (although the bathrooms a little dated) and the breakfasts cannot be beaten - the choice is staggeringly huge. The dining room is ambient and relaxing, overlooking the canal, which is always picturesque and full of interest. Only disappointment was that although we had breakfast at 7am on our last day (as we needed to leave early), we were told rather sternly that all the tables beside the windows overlooking the canal were reserved. No-one arrived for breakfast while we were eating - it was too early for everyone else! And a window seat is not possible for dinner if there are only two of you, as all of them seat four. Although the days and evenings were warm, the doors to the terrace were locked and dining beside the canal was not allowed, which was puzzling (we were allowed our coffee al fresco though). The food however, is delicious and the evening waiting staff excellent,warm and friendly. The ‘extras’ are quite pricey - breakfast is £14.50 extra on top of the room rate, which does add up. Even so, we would book again in a heartbeat. The location is perfect for visiting Amsterdam, the beaches and Keukenhof gardens - and Leiden itself (home of Rembrandt) is delightful with a fantastic Saturday market.

First impression of the exterior is very attractive, when we worked round to the entrance, we discovered a modern side with a well decorated and inviting Reception area. The staff were courteous and helpful at all times. We had a triple room for ourselves and our teenage daughter; the room was delightful; well decorated, light and airy with a balcony and plenty of space for all of us. There was a fridge and a safe and a well stocked shower & bathroom. Breakfast buffet was pricey but a good selection and I can thoroughly recommend the fresh fruit and also Quark and Yogurt. It was lovely to start the day with breakfast outside watching boats go by and the occasional inquisitive duck. We used the 43 bus service, which is conveniently right across from the hotel, to take us into Leiden station (about 10 minutes); or in the other direction to The Hague (about 30 minutes). Our stay at the Van der Valk, Leiden contributed greatly to the success of our holiday in Holland.

The hotel is located adjacent to a canal and not far from Leiden University. The rooms are large and have balconies which would be great for the summer months when one can sit outside. The beds are comfortable. Rooms have a fridge but not sure if it is working. Bathrooms have bath and shower and are also spacious. Good power outlets and wifi. Comfortable chairs and side table. Desk for working with coffee maker and kettle. The restaurant in very good and serves a great breakfast as well as a good selection of dishes for lunch and dinner.

The room was very comfortable and spacious - bed is very comfortableand the corner sofa is good for sprawling. TV is a bit basic but that was the only negative. Breakfast was excellent - we are both vegetarian and we were well fed. Ate in the restaurant at night, and that was good. Would definitely return.

What a great view! Our son loved watching all the boats sail past. The room is very spacious, with a balcony, great place to relax. Dining at the water front is a great experience. Staff in the restaurant was very friendly and helpful! Very willing to make exceptions for our difficult diet and allergy wishes. Also, our son was invited to make his own dessert in the kitchen, together with the chef. It came out very healthy with a lot of fruit!

It feels like this hotel is a bit of an institution and a special place to stay. The restaurant was lovely, I had a wonderful salmon salad packed full of fresh ingredients and it is interesting to watch all sorts of ships and boats pass by. My room was a good size, bright and airy, with lovely facilities and a nice shower. Staff are helpful and friendly and it felt safe as a lone traveller.

The room is fairly spacious, the beds are excellent. The view was not too great, but we had the possibility to see part of the river. The bathroom is very small but cleverly designed, so no problems there. The breakfast is excellent, lots to choose from, staff are very helpful. The location is very quiet. This is one of those hotels you remember and want to return to.

The hotel had a nice view, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The furniture in the room and bathroom was a bit worn, but everything was clean. Breakfast was sufficient, although the same items were served every day. It would have been nice to have a bit of variety, even just one different item. Towels were changed daily, which was great, but it would have been even better if the floors were also vacuumed regularly. Overall, we liked our stay. We chose this hotel because there was no parking problem and it’s located slightly outside the city, which made it peaceful. The cleanliness and location made us happy.

The hotel is perfectly located just steps from the beach, which makes it ideal for a relaxing stay. I was pleasantly surprised with a spacious room upgrade — the room was clean, fresh, and smelled great. The entire place feels well-kept and inviting. The staff were very kind and welcoming, which added to the positive experience. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

The room was fine, box spring beds with topper mattresses, more comfortable than expected, slept well. Bathroom just has wash gel and there is a hairdryer. Safe was not to easy to work out, only for really tall people as at the back of a high cupboard! Curtains don’t darken the room completely, so eye shades required if that is important to you. Bar was cosy, nice to unwind in. Lobby is in porch, probably due to lack of space, so not a quiet place. Staff were helpful and positive.

This hotel is a real gem !. The proprietor Marian has set very high standards for all aspects of their product. The restaurant service and quality of meals were both outstanding, with wine served in crystal glasses - nice touch. The buffet breakfast and staff were also completely amazing. The rooms are kept immaculate by an efficient housekeeping team who very smartly worked around our occupancy. We did have high expectations, and the hotel and Katwijk surprisingly exceeded all. And then add the perfect location on the seafront and next to an excellent town centre with really lovely local people and great restaurants, shops, bars, cafes etc and the ice cream place (!) - we love Katwijk so much we are booking to come back again.

Comfortable and spacious room. Clean. Good shower. It’s not that far from the beach and a couple of interesting neighbourhoods are walkable, obviously very convenient for the conference centre. There are three good museums around the corner.

I visited this hotel for the second time, so I already had a good idea of what to expect. It’s a really cozy place in an excellent location. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. The restaurant downstairs has a nice selection of drinks and simple meals like pizza, panini, and nachos. They even have board games, which made for a fun evening with the kids. Our room was on the 11th floor with a view of the sea — even though it’s a few kilometers away, it was still beautiful to look at.

This hotel provided a very convenient stay for myself and my partner. The gym was an added bonus which we didn’t even notice whilst booking and very much enjoyed in our short stay. The room itself was a good size and was very comfortable. We enjoyed the amenities in the room and the staff whilst checking in were all very friendly and helpful. The location is also good where it is close enough to enjoy central.

From the moment we arrived, my wife and I were very impressed with the Golden Tulip Hotel. Only a 4 minute walk from Zoetermeer train station and tram stop, this hotel is well situated. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff were very friendly. We had arrived several hours early and didn't expect to be able to check in, but this was no problem to the understanding and accommodating receptionist, and we were in our room within minutes of our arrival. The room was spotlessly clean and fresh. Our room had tea and coffee making facilities and featured a large flatscreen TV. The beds were extremely comfortable, which is always a bonus after a long journey. The bathroom/shower was also very clean and equipped with fresh, clean towels. The hotel has a bar and restaurant which we also made use of. We booked the breakfast buffet for the following morning, and it was delicious. The buffet boasted a great selection of food and drinks to more than satisfy everybody's requirements. I would highly recommend staying at the Golden Tulip Hotel, and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

We stayed here one night, and it is a medium size hotel with a very friendly family-feel atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and speak very good English. The room was very good, with a good bed, but they were 2 bed put together, but good mattresses for a good night sleep. A TV and desk in the room with also coffee and tea making facilities. Shower gel and shampoo was provided in the bathroom, in large bottles on the wall, which is environmentally friendly and useful. Breakfast was lovely in the breakfast room, with a large choice of mainly continental breakfast items, but staff was also making freshly cooked omelettes if you wanted. They have a terrace which is open by good weather, so you can sit outside if you want, which adds to the holiday feeling. The hotel is across the road from station Driemanspolder, so central to the centre of Zoetermeer itself.

The hotel is located in a quiet area , about 25 min walk to the centre. There is a train station very close to the hotel and that is only a benefit because you can travel to the town if you wish. The reception staff were very friendly and professional. The room was not too big but very clean including nice and modern bathroom. I didn't have a chance to use the restaurant and the pub because my husband and I were away for a concert at the evening time ( great train connection to The Boerderij again) but we had breakfast in the morning with a great variety of the food and a very kind chef was serving an omelette where you can choose veggies or bacon on it. The staff in the breakfast area were friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for 2 nights for a karate tournament. The hotel was only a few minutes walk from the railway station, which made travel easy. The hotel and rooms were very modern and clean, Ed’s were a little hard, but we slep well. The staff were excellent and very helpful, especially with booking taxis for our group of 10 to and from the tournament and back to the airport. Good selection of breakfast items and omelettes made to order. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and the food was very nice. Staff ensured we could all sit together. A very relaxing and pleasant stay. We would definitely stay here again when visiting this area.

We stayed three nights at this hotel whilst on a Dutch Bike Tours holiday. Really difficult to fault this lovely hotel. Comfortable, clean rooms, friendly, helpful staff, who speak excellent English. We enjoyed an extremely good breakfast, with plenty of choice. Very conveniently situated adjacent to the tram and train station for arrival and departure. If I could write one small negative aspect, when we asked (on two of the evenings) if we could have a table for dinner, it seemed to be a bit of a problem because we hadn’t made a reservation. However, there were lots of tables free and stayed free the whole time we ate, so not sure why this was a problem. Apart from that though, no complaints and would love to stay here again some day. Thank you to all the lovely staff.

Loved the location. Loved the fantastic breakfast and free hot drinks all day downstairs. Didn't like the €15 a day parking charge. Didnt like the very limited menu of four dishes with the overpriced veggy option absolutely disgusting, literally inedible due to high salt content. Also didn't like the 'courtyard' view from the rooms which in reality is a view of all the massive heat recovery pupes on the roof. No suitcase stands in the rooms either which is a problem as are the huge pillows which are not comfortable. Overall okay and yes, were would go back.

Everything from the booking communication to the last day was fabulous! Elselina is a consummate hostess:) Her husband gave hekp up and down the houseboat stairs with our overloaded suitcases - thanks to Darryl! From the time we checked in we were very well looked after. The room was well appointed with a lovely view of the canals and bridges and it was large and beautifully furnished. The bed was a dream to sleep on. There was a coffee machine in the hall to help oneself to as well as in room faciltiies. A small kitchenette was everything we needed to fix small meals and the bathroom was meticulously clean and with abundant hot water we managed to stay clean (and warm - it was very cold there in mid winter) after walking all day seeing the sights. A very good supermarket for shipping is only about 25 metres away so it made things very easy. Great ready made meals to do "pierce and ping". B & B Hotel Elselina was very suitable for my niece and I but I imagine for a couple it would be incredibly romantic. Can't say how great it was to be there in Scheidam and have such a wonderful stay! Thanks Elselina for making The Netherlands so wlecoming and wonderul:)

Actually I don't have any complaints regarding this hotel. I think I received a rennovated room (t-rex room) which had a good room size and spacious bathroom. The room was also very clean. No noises, breakfast was good and also the staff was friendly. The only thing, the safe I think it was broken. I didn't use it, so it was fine. The hotel is also close to the trainstation and the 5 min walk to the city center of Leiden.

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay here. The location suited us perfectly as it was close to the train station as well as being really close to the old centre. Breakfast each morning was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were modern and clean. We didn't think there were enough lights (rooms a bit dark), but that was a minor. We would definitely stay there again.

Usually typical europenean breakfast - coffee/tea/juice, yogurt, donuts, cereal, maybe 1 sort of cheese/sausage. But here- a big variety of food including vegetables, fruits, eggs, different bakery, etc. It was a big pleasure to stay there. Highly recommend.

Great clean value for money in Central location, ideal for exploring the city on foot or accessing public transport to go slightly further to areas such as Schevingen beach, Kunstmuseum and many more. All staff at hotel were notably welcoming and friendly with Enrique's morning smile and welcome particularly appreciated at breakfast. Hotel is very close to bars and restaurants, probably more than 30 in a 200 metre radius but also tucked away just sufficient for the bustle not to be intrusive. Would definately stay at this hotel again.

The beach here is more quiet than others which we loved, but still had plenty of nice dinner options down the strip or right in front of the hotel on the beach.. Be aware there is no lift/elevator. We had to lug our bags up to the 3rd floor. Might be tough for an older couple. We would stay again!

Stayed two nights here 14-15 May 2021. A fantastic location, great views out to see, if you book, book the rooms with the sea view. Small rooms, but enough room for a few days. Staff are very helpful and professional. We choose to eat in the hotel in the evening due to the restaurants and terrases closing at 18.00, due to corona. Great choice, excellent food, organised by the owner through a local restaurant. Try also the wine tasting , a wine with every course. You have to give them a time when you want to eat, and you pick it up downstairs, and eat it in the room, really relaxing, and of course a great view during dinner.

Hotel location was a highlight for us - just across the street from the beach on the North Sea and not far from Keukenhof Gardens and Clara Maria Cheese Farm and Clog Factory. A 4-day stay. Breakfast and bar area are beautifully decorated. Our room (#11) was small, clean, and met our needs, but the mattress was old and too soft. Bathroom was modern and clean. Breakfast was plentiful (breads, cheeses, meats, eggs, coffee). When I asked for 2 wine glasses, I was told I could have them only if I purchased glasses of wine from them and that I could drink from the glasses in our bathroom. That is not okay. We wanted them to drink non-alcoholic beverages we brought with us to celebrate a special occasion in our room. When we made 2 cups of hot chocolate in the evening, we were told it's not included and we were charged 7 Euros... to make it ourselves! Twice we were questioned by an employee why we were there, a bit abrupt - he did not remember us. There are other hotel options in town to check out.

Stayed for three nighs on a business trip. The room was very small and a bit old but comfortable and clean. The room doors are not sound proof so people walking in corridor could be easily heard. Bathroom no ventilation. Breakfast was great each morning with very nice staff. The beach access is perfect , many restaurants and a supermarket are done the boulevard about 7 min walk. Very nice stay.

A comfortable room that was nice and clean and looks as if it‘s been recently decorated. The WiFi worked without problem and the location is very nice. There is also a nice whisky bar in the reception area, although I didn’t try it out. The breakfast area is good and there‘s plenty of choice.

The hotel is one block from the train and bus station so it was easy to travel to Amsterdam, Delft, (by train) and Keukenhof gardens (by bus). Public transportation in the Netherlands is easy, inexpensive, comfortable, and convenient and you get to see the country-side! The hotel was very comfortable and our room was spacious. The bed was so comfortable and we slept well every night. We registered for breakfast every morning and that was varied and tasty. Staff service was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant was excellent and not expensive. We walked around Leiden the first afternoon, then all day at Keukenhof gardens the next day. Then three days in Amsterdam to see the sights and the Rijksmuseum. A canal boat tour in Amsterdam was fun and informative. A great vacation and the Golden Tulip hotel was a perfect, central location.

We chose The Golden Tulip, for a week’s stay because it is so close to the Leiden Central Station, so it was a great location. We could quickly walk to all of the great areas of the wonderful city of lLeiden. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The double bed room was small, but well laid out, efficient and impeccably cleaned everyday. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The espresso machine was great! The room has been updated with great modern design. What was missing are the amenities we expect from a 4 star hotel. The bathroom amenities, particularly the hair conditioner and body lotion were virtually impossible to get out of the tiny containers, and there was no actual shampoo, just a body wash/shampoo combination. The soap dispensers seemed too cheap for a 4 star hotel. The hallways are quite dreary and could use some art on the walls. All that being said, we would stay at The Golden Tulip again, and hope that the ammenities hav3 been upgraded.

The room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds. The bar and restaurant area were welcoming. The drinks in the bar were reasonably priced. The Nespresso machine in the room was great. The breakfast was good quality.

We upgraded from the standard room to the next level. It was well worth it. This was the last stop on our trip and it was nice to have a little extra room. The room was clean, big, nice bathroom. We couldn't have been happier. The staff here is very good. Always helpful and friendly. The location is nice, close to the train station and a short walk past the windmill to everything downtown. We didn't do the breakfast buffet, but it looked very nice. We recommend this hotel.

This IBIS met expectations. I requested and was given a room with a view of the train station to watch the trains and the commuters. The view was a very lively show of frequent trains coming and going, and the room was quiet – noise was not a problem. There were enough electrical outlets to charge two iPhones at night and the WiFi was fine. Breakfast was satisfactory. The water is fine for drinking or filling your water bottle. The rooms are large (for an IBIS) and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The bed covering was a heavy comforter, without a top sheet, which is is very common now. A top sheet on the bed would be nice, because sometimes the comforter gets too hot at night. I like the IBIS brand very much.

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of days back in 2015, and now, 10 years later for almost a whole week - everything was perfect in both cases. My room was clean, quiet and comfortable – not to mention the amazing view from the 6th floor! The train station is really close, so it is easy to discover not only the charming city of Leiden, but also Amsterdam, den Haag, Delft or Rotterdam. It is also very convenient to have three different stores in the building next door. I enjoyed my vacation there very much!

After a journey which involved 6 trains, I was so glad to find this hotel across the road from the train station! The following morning the bus to the famous Keukenhof Gardens was just across the road also! So, great location for what myself and a friend were there to visit. The room was small but thoughtfully designed - bed was comfy and shower was great. Especially grateful for delicious warm GF rolls for a plentiful and delicious breakfast. Public transport made the hotel easily accessed; they're across the road from a shopping mall, which I know would make some people very happy. We would stay at this hotel again.

The room which was tastefully decorated, comfortable and stocked well with tea and coffee had a balcony view over the lake. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice (both hot and cold) and a good standard. The bar was a good place to relax and enjoy a drink after a busy day.

Beautiful building, great location. The room (5) was up in the attic area, with spacious living room area with coffee machine, kettle, small fridge, sofa, tv etc. The shower room was beautifully decorated with a great rain shower. The double bed was in an alcove, perfect for one, but access only from one side. It was so comfortable, great linen. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order.

This is a quaint place to stay in Leiden . It’s near everything with bars and restaurants and a 15 min walk from the train station. The beds are fab and the bathroom is perfect . My room had a nespresso machine with free coffee which was very welcome . There was also proper size bottles of red wine and chilled white wine to purchase with nice wine glasses. The express breakfast is very tasty and I’m sure the full breakfast was lovely too . The hosts are there to help and were a very nice couple . It was worth every penny . The stairs to get upstairs are original and incredibly steep .

Fabulous boutique hotel in an excellent location near several good restaurants and Pieterskerk. Excellent breakfasts are offered in the hotel restaurant. Hotel room had everything one needs- small fridge with wine and water, nespresso coffee machine, excellent shower and comfortable bed. Easily walkable from Leiden Central.

Perfect location, peaceful despite it being a very busy student party week, excellent room setup with everything in immaculate condition, great shower and very comfortable bed. The owner and staff were kind and helpful. Especially appreciated the generous supply of Nespresso coffee capsules, the stocked mini bar fridge, and Netflix in both the living room space and at the foot of the bed!

Communication prior to stay - great. Hosts replied back and were helpful. Check-in/and out easy. Location was fantastic. 5 - 10 min walk to the centre of town where there are plenty of places to eat and drink on the right and the lovely sandy beach on the left. 5 - 10 min walk to bus stop - buses go to Lisse, Leiden, Hague, easy to get around. Can hire bikes easily too and there are lots of lovely bike rides to do near by. Breakfast - a very wide choice for breakfast, lovely pot of coffee, choices of bread/rolls, grapes, strawberries, pancakes, eggs, meats, cheeses, yogurt, cakes. Delightful. Room - our room had a lovely view of the tulip fields. The room had everything you needed. Tissues, glasses for drinking, pot for toothbrushes, wardrobe, drawer space, TV with english channels too, chair. Bathroom very small but shower nice and hot and good strength of water pressure. Comfy bed - had lovely sleep. Outside the room on the landing was a fridge and microwave which was handy. Room had a kettle and you got 1 tea bag. No coffee, milk or sugar - strange. Couldn't chose when you had the heating on but it was on at critical times e.g morning and evening. Room and the whole B&B was very clean. Didn't ask for clean towels but we stayed for 6 nights and the towels weren't changed and could of done with being. Bathroom/room was cleaned daily. Would totally recommend this delightful B&B - it is rated 3 star but It is superb for that. A real find. Thank you.

This is a great B&B on 5-10 minutes walk from the beach of Noordwijk aan Zee. The owners, Andries and Yolanda, made us feel very welcome! The breakfast buffet was very nice, lots of choices and great coffee. The room we had was very clean and cosy, with a great bed. Parking near the house is free. Value for money all over!

This is a delightful property. The house is beautifully decorated, the owners are very friendly, and breakfast was superb. Somehow, I managed to mess up my booking and actually arrived a day earlier than I had booked. The owners were very accommodating and I am very grateful for this. The house is within easy walking distance of the town and the beach and there are lots of great restaurants nearby. Perfect!

Super friendly and welcoming couple. The B&B is very cozy. The breakfast was great with a lot of choices. The area is nice and it‘s only a 10 minute walk from the beach. You can park the car along the street.

Exceptional location in the scenic old part of Delft. Very spacious room. Clean and comfortable. Everything in working ordee. Friendly welcome. Pleasantly surprised by the various parking options available as I was worried about this. Breakfast was self-service and continental style but did the trick for us.

We had a beautiful huge comfortable character-ful room in the eaves at the very top of this old building (third floor) overlooking a canal in the delightful old part of Delft. The manager who might have been the owner of this delightfull little hotel was welcoming and helpful, taking our cases up to the room and bringing them down on departure, much appreciated because the final flight of stairs was almost vertical. Lovely buffet breakfast, plenty of choice. Great view, great location in old quarter

Perfect location in the centre and 6 mins from the train station on foot! The staff were helpful, room was clean and quiet. It doesn’t have the most modern amenities, but the building matches the atmosphere of a historic town and we were still very comfortable.

Hotel is in a historic old building in central Delft 5 minutes walk away from the railway station. Because of its age it has steep staircases an no lifts - this wasn't a problem for us. Good buffet breakfast in a room next to the canal, you can watch the world going by outside. We had a suite, large room overlooking the canal, comfortable. Delft is an easily walkable town with plenty of places to eat. Would stay here again.
