All was perfect, clean, the personal was very friendly and they girl helps me with everything that i need. It exceed my expectations. Jacuzzi, sauna… everything that u need in your bed. I will go back again! Very happy!!!

Had stayed at the hotel before so was happy that everything was still to such a high standard. Found it perfect for a single over-night stay. Staff were super friendly and the bar had a selection of good beers. Restaurant seems to be very popular - as it is good - so prior booking is recommended.

Spacious room with en-suite . Air con was a bonus and WiFi has been opened up. On site gourmet restaurant was excellent and breakfast was just as good with homemade produce.

everyone was so nice there, the staff took great care of me. if you’re looking for a super modern hotel and can’t deal with old timey keys then it’s not for you but if you’re looking for a relaxed, charming spot with top service and excellent breakfast, then this is your spot. Excellent stay from beggining to the end. We rate this hotel as one of the top we have ever been. Spacious rooms with design touch, exceptional service and helpful staff, delicious food and wide variety of choices (you can even make your own waffles ☺️), comfortable parking in garage, stylish bar and restaurant, and I could name more and more.. we hope we will be back soon.

A smart, modern, nicely Finished hotel with welcoming staff and a very nice, quiet and comfortable good sized room. Breakfast was a nice quality selection too, and the restaurant looks out over the local scenery which was nice.

Very large and comfortable room, good air conditioning, great shower. Vending machine in a common room with drinks and snacks. The town is very vibrant with many bars and restaurants only a few minutes walk away.

The room was big and the bathroom was fenomenal. It had a bubble bath/jacuzzi in it, which was excellent. The bed was comfortable, WiFi was good. It was great relaxing after a 5,5 hour drive.

The jacuzzi met our expectations and we made full use of it. First it was the kids turn and I wish it would fill up quicker, but still they enjoyed even the filling up process. THe playground with real fine sand resembling a beach bar was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was good and the coffee was excellent.

I booked this hotel for my clients from London for a hiking trip in the High Fence and they absolutely loved it. I am from the region but moved to London in the early 2000s and did not know this hotel, to be fair I do not know much about the region anymore. The staff are great, very helpful and have a very good level of English. check in was easy, the rooms are large and clean and the booking process was easy. We did not eat but the restaurant was full on the first day so book in advance if you want a table. Nice bar area, ambiance and the pool was closed but a nice addition to the hotel. Also about 10 minutes walk from the train station downward, so you don’t need a taxi to reach there. It is located next to a great chocolatier(Darcy) and the main shopping centre so the location cannot be more perfect. Really a good discovery. I had to wait a couple of times for my clients at reception and they were very nice and easy about it. I had a glass of rose wine at the bar, great choice and only 4 euro 50. It is a busy restaurant and bar and yet it was quiet. And on the top of that it was a famous cycling race that weekend and most of the hotel was booked for the cyclists and it was still neat and quiet. I will definitely come back in a few months with other clients and some of those who would like to come back 🙂

Hotel Verviers Van Der Valk met all our expectations. We were a group of four people - all senior citizens in our 70's so we wanted convenient on-site parking, and on site restaurant for dinner and breakfast, comfortable rooms and wi-fi connections. The breakfast was excellent. Thank you.

The hotel was clean and modern, with nice elevators and a comfortable atmosphere. We appreciated the complimentary coffee, water and tea in the room, and the room itself was well-equipped with everything we needed: a safe, hairdryer, ironing facilities, TV, air conditioning, phone, and a bathroom hood. The breakfast was very rich and offered a wide variety of options, which we really enjoyed. However, the dinner options were a bit limited.

We stay here every year in November while visiting the Thermes of Spa. We noticed a great change in the hotel since it became a Van der Valk Hotel. The Staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a great atmosphere in the bar/lounge and the decor was lovely. The breakfast was incredible! The staff were lovely and replenished everything very regularly. The choice was amazing. I particularly loved the fresh smoked salmon. We are already looking forward to coming back!

Our stay was really great! The highlights were the welcoming staff, our room, which was spacious, quiet (despite being next to an elevator) and had a nice view to Spa centre, possibility to go to the Thermes in a bathrobe provided by the hotel, absolutely stunning breakfast.

Such a lovely, old-fashioned, welcoming and century-old family-run establishment, with its lovely rooms, pretty view over the river, its charming antique furniture and decoration, a great modern and fully equipped elegant-looking bathroom, delicious food in the restaurant, a great breakfast and an amazing and very helpful staff. This is really the kind of place I adore, full of history with its more than 250 years existence run by the same family, 9th generation in a row, with its homely dining room and heartwarming bar with its old piano. I even was allowed to prepare for my piano class playing with candlelight! My heartfelt gratitude to the people who give this place a soul and turn a stay with them in a wonderful experience.

Location was very good. Walks and hikes could start at the hotel. The caves - which were worthwhile - were just around the corner. Breakfast was good, not abundant, but everything you needed was there. I liked the nice lady that attended breakfast 🙂. Dinner was very good, the restaurant was very stylish. We enjoyed a drink on the nice terrace, after our walk. Although our room was at the back (no view), it was very quiet because you did not have the streetnoise. The room was very clean and everything was there that you needed. Good beds. We loved the well kept unique character of the house. Even the toilets on the ground floor were still maintained in the old style, so nice. The owners were very nice.

Delightful family-run hotel (eight generations of Famille Bonhomme) with a traditional ambience, old-fashioned charm, pleasant and welcoming staff, good restaurant with properly cooked food, decent breakfast too. Our room was comfortable, coffee machine, with an absolutely huge en-suite bathroom. Nice location in a village next to the river, with serious caves next door. What's not to like?

Contrary to some reviews, the staff was very friendly and helpful! The dinner at the terrace was very good, Service prompt! Recommended! Room spacious. hotel old style with the charm of the past. Breakfast was good. Although on a busy location, with the dubble glass it was quite inside.

Wir waren mit Kleinkind da und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es gibt viele Tiere wie Pferde, Ponys, Hunde, Katzen und Hühner und man ist mitten in der Natur. Die Anlage ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail im Western Style eingerichtet. Großartig! Es hat etwas von Urlaub auf dem Bauernhof. Unser Apartment war gößer als erwartet und mit einer vollwertigen Küche gut eingerichtet. Man hatte eine schöne Aussicht. Es gab viel zu entdecken. Der Empfang war etwas holprig, aber schon bald wurden wir an die richtige Person weitergeleitet, die uns auf Französisch alles erklärt hat. Das Zimmer war im Juli sehr warm und stickig. Leider konnte man nicht lüften, ohne dass sofort unzählige Fliegen reinkamen. Beim Balkon mussten wir sehr darauf achten, dass unser Kind nicht durch die breiten Abstände des Geländers fiel. Ein Frühstück mussten wir uns anderweitig organisieren. Alles in allem ein sehr schönes und außergewöhnliches Hotel, dass man nirgendwo anders findet.

This place is incredible. It is so authentic that even the dream catcher is placed right over the bed. Beautiful music is provided to play in the background. It is also therapeutic to see all of the horses when you walk outside. Sleep is heavenly. Wish I could move in! I cannot wait to get back.

Echt geweldig. Mooie locatie, rustig, het is net een themapark. Wij hadden de monument valley kamer met een geweldig bubbelbad. We hebben genoten van de picknicktafels buiten, van de paarden, de rust. De gastvrouw was ook heel vriendelijk en deed goed haar best. Absoluut een 10

Très agréable séjour, le studio est super bien équipé vaisselle, essuie cuisine, produits entretien....et la propreté excellente. De plus les propriétaires sont charmants . Petit séjour bien dépaysant. Je recommande cet endroit aux personnes qui aiment la tranquillité tout en étant près de Liège.

We spent one night here on the way home. It is a huge hotel with 100 rooms. A palatial building but quite a modern build. Our room - no. 101 - was spacious with a high ceiling and a jacuzzi! The bed was giant sized and quite soft and so comfortable. We could sleep in as breakfast was served until 11.00. Then it was a bit like "into the fray". The two small coffee machines had broken down so had to be fixed first. Bread had run out, no scrambled eggs either. So patience was required. But in spite of this, the breakfast was not bad at all once we got everything we needed. I think I'd book here again just for the comfortable bed.

Very unique room with the bed up in the loft. The room was extremely spacious, clean, and filled with amenities (safe; frig with soda, beer and water; toiletries; tub; towel warmer; room service; luggage trolley). The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially in the restaurant. Outdoor parking was free and accommodated our large SUV. Location is convenient also- walking distance to a strip mall and a chocolate museum, the Val Dieu Abbey and brasserie are a short drive away. Some areas of improvement: the room wifi was extremely weak or non-existent; with the bed upstairs and heat rising, the bedroom was a little uncomfortably warm even in late September, and the automatic window and shutter would not remain open; over all the bed was a little too soft. Also, it was a little noisy from the street noise. It would be nice to have a tv downstairs to watch the news while eating breakfast or just to watch without being in bed. Also, it would give the person sleeping downstairs something to watch. Please add a toilet brush and garbage can to the toilet; having a separate toilet room was nice though. The tub stopper did not keep the water from draining while taking a bath, so that may need to be checked. Also, we had to reset our door key twice during the weekend stay. Overall, though, really liked the room set-up and enjoyed our stay. May return for New Year's Eve.

Came here on a business trip with 2 colleagues. We initially thought we were in the wrong place as we had got ourselves such a good bargain on Hotels.com. Open plan lounge downstairs very comfortable and great choice of drinks at the bar. Bar menu very varied and of a high standard. Service was excellent too. Tasteful room with huge spotless bathroom with both walk in shower and bath. Only downside was carpet in bedroom smelt a bit of shake n' vac

Lovely 4 night stay, room 109 is lovely although beds too soft for our liking. Stayed here last year too. Restaurant, bar & cocktail bar have a great welcoming atmosphere and are very pleasant to eat or drink in.

The hotel was very nice. It is well located. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed in two different type of rooms. The first (cheapest) was larger than the second for the dining and office space. The bed is upstairs and give a cozy atmosphere. The bathroom is a bit smaller, the shower is in the tub. The second room (middle price) has less space for the office but the bathroom has a hot-tub and a separate shower. The only bad point is that there was a lot of noise until late in the night from a large dance area in the parking lot. It draws a rough crowd from the community. It is located in a temporary structure, but people come in the hallways drunk.

The welcome was very friendly, she made no issue of my delay. The room looked fresh and was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was quite large with a spacious walk-in shower. I could arrange my breakfast time the evening before to suit my work schedule.

Wonderful location for a visit to Spa-Francorchamps. Modern rooms, with private badroom/shower/toilet. A wonderful breakfast is included and there is an offering of coffee and local Belgian beers. Nice and quiet as well, with great views. My preferred spot if I am going to Spa-Francorchamps.

We had a perfect stay! The room and bed were so comfortable, with a great view across the hills from our bedroom. Breakfast was varied and tasty, and our communication with the host was perfect!

The location of the property is amazing, overlooking the beautiful countryside. The building is modern, clean, and cozy. We have stayed at dozens of places across the European countryside the past few weeks, this one is one of the best values.

I recommend it 100%. Rooms clean and very well decorated. The bed was comfortable. The jacuzzi was great. A very pleasant place to spend a few moments together. The owners are very nice people.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The shower was fantastic, the bed very comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows. The hosts were very welcoming, guided us to our room, and explained everything in detail. It was also a nice surprise to find Netflix on the TV for a cozy evening. Big breakfast was worth its money, we had it in the room and went for a hike straight after, it was ver convinient. Trooz turned out to be a pleasant discovery. Although the town was heavily affected by the 2021 flood, it’s inspiring to see how the locals are restoring it with optimism. There are great hiking and cycling routes around Trus, and we truly enjoyed exploring them. Everywhere we went, people were kind and helpful. Highly recommended—for both the hotel and the town itself!

Loved the room, we arrived pretty late but the host was there with a big smile to receive us! Spa bathtub was just super relaxing. Only stayed the night but would definitely come back for a romantic night at the ardennen

The room, the friendly welcome, the breakfast. We were on our way back from France to Netherlands and was a royal stop in the journey.

Jacuzzi, Sauna, bath tub, lounge area, kitchenette, bed, breakfast, location and all amenities were top class. Was home within a home and very well furnished which we were quite surprised and the hosts were fantastic. Everything was in place on time. Better than a 5* hotel feeling.

The place is wonderful! and dog-friendly 💕 Everything was arranged with incredible attention to detail. It was perfectly clean, with low warm lighting that made us feel welcome and calm at the same time. The jacuzzi outside was strategically placed in the little private garden and gave us the perfect relaxing feeling we were looking for, and the sauna inside was just the Cherry on the cake. We also enjoyed our breakfast very much. The location is perfect, you can just walk around in nature around there or take the car to the many hiking places around, we spent a day hiking at La Gileppe which was only 15 a drive. All in all, the place was amazing, with a great hostess. We deeply recommend it. Last but not least it’s dog friendly! That was the original reason why we decided to stay here. Our dog had a great time too.

Breakfast was delicious and delivered directly to the cottage. Jeanne and her husband were warm, welcoming hosts. Extremely helpful. The cottage was beautifully decorated with a wonderful outdoor area by the hot tub and a full fabulous sauna inside

the facilities, cleanliness and the communication with the host.

It is a very cozy apartment, with all necessary facilities. The sauna and jacuzzi are just fantastic. The position is also very convenient. The structure was extremely clean.

Nicely decorated, stylish and spacious loft. Great wellness facilities. Close to multiple bakeries and a large supermarket. Nice view from the attic windows. Pleasantly large and well-equipped kitchen area. We were well informed both about practical matters as well as stuff to do and see by the owners.
