This hotel is exquisite. It’s lush surroundings and the fact that it’s 18 only make it a quiet and relaxing place to stay. The local neighborhood did get loud some evenings, but I would 10/10 stay here again! The ONLY downside was that they didn’t have a jacuzzi (outside of the spa service). Other than that, the grounds were stunning, the service was exceptional, the food was beautiful and delicious. We didn’t want to leave. Also, the additional services they have are unique. They have a beautiful yoga room, the Tamazcal ceremony was a really interesting test of the mind and soul. They helped us call drivers for various excursions. We loved it and would go back!

We had excellent time, Bardol is amazing the set up and architecture are spot on. You're in a jungle yet comfortable with urban facilities available - they also struck a very difficult balance to keep it authentic. Staff are visible, attentive and willing to help at any time, shout outto Priscila who has been super. We had help with motorbike rental and taxi, slightly pricier than outside but safe and hassle free. The hotel pays excellent attention to details, always clean, tidy and has a lovely scent. We loved the location of the hotel, the opposite side of the beach away from the beach stretch which is getting a bit overhyped ( I think this personal preference) we were about 8mins away from main road/town centre so secluded and quiet while easy to get to all the shops and restaurants. Also they do free bicycle rental so you can explore further. The in hous restaurant is amazing too we tried it once for breakfast as there's so much food variety outside there to try!

Bardo is AMAZING! If you’re considering it, do! Why? It’s beautiful; a tranquil oasis with its own vibe! The resort looks exactly like the pictures . my massage with Gloria was relaxing, deep & dreamy. Suggest her & on the beach too. Alex and Fernando are warm and welcoming when they greet you, there to help you every step of the way, incredibly resourceful & funny. They use the whatsup app for easy, fast communication regarding reservations and anything you need. The housekeeping team checks in with you too. As a solo female I felt safe the entire time. On the property, in town, and on the beach. Rent a scooter (not a car) if you want to easily get around. The city center is easily walkable. If I hand known for the beach, centers and other I’d definitely have rented a scooter vs a car/bike. The food is amazing! Drinks too! The tuna tataki, while an app, makes a killer meals and is a flavor bomb. Bardo has 2 sister properties you may visit if you wish. Which I did for yoga (which is included and people who up. So should you! Not to hard, not to light). Their Temazcal Ceremony is authentic, challenging and our spiritual guide/shaman is there to support you every step of the way. I used google maps to maneuver through the city and along the beach. Even if you don’t have reception (I only did when connected to WiFi) it will still show you where you are and where your pins are to make it to where you want to go.

First of all. The STAFF is amazing. Leo was our server/waiter most of the time at the restaurant and he is absolutely pleasant and just an all around great guy along with the other waiters and the chef -OMG hats off to him. The FOOD was phenomenal. The attention here is TOP. The room/villa is so spacious and clean with a plunge pool, hammock and big patio. The soaps, scent of the place is so relaxing. The room service, the drinks, the pool area. The overall aesthetic of the place, the DECOR was gorgeous. Needless to say, we will be back. If anyone wants to relax, forget about the world, have the best service and friendly staff, amazing tasty menu’s in a quiet meditative environment, in touch with nature with a luxury feel to it - this is it. The hotel is inside the national park (a worthy cause for the national park fees) and thus was not surrounded by any commercialism (yay!). Free electric open air carts with multiple rows of bench seating ran regularly up and down the main road through the park which made getting to/from the ruins and museum very easy. The paths from the check-in to the beach and all over the property are all soft white sand so one can go barefoot everywhere. The beach area is big and full of soft sand and activities, like boating, are a few steps away. The staff is cheerful and friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable and they spoke plenty of english. The breakfast included coffee/tea and fresh fruit, pancakes and eggs any way you wanted them. The room was spacious with lots of ledges and shelves and outlets. The bed was firm and comfortable with nice sheets. The rainfall shower area was spacious and they provided shampoo and body wash. Our jungle view room had a big tub which was wonderful and the first one in our 3 week vacation in Mexico. They even provided beach towels. The a/c and fan worked well. Our lunch at the restaurant was tasty and not too expensive and the hotel next door had a wonderful Thai restaurant featuring a chef from Thailand.

That was one of the best experiences we had. The staff was amazing !! Friendly, helpful and nice. I read different comments about the staff at the breakfast and beach bar and our experience was amazing. They were super fast, helpful and always smiley. We really enjoyed our breakfasts. Special thank you to Jorge, Juan, Freddy, Gustavo, Gerardo and Vicky. You do really great job and with a great attitude. The rooms are very clean and very spacious. Especially the beach front rooms - as if you are in a paradise. And finally the reception staff Carlos, Orfe and another lady were also very helpful and nice. The check in was quick and smooth. Since the hotel is located in a national park it feels like you are so disconnected from real world and that is just so really relaxing. Also you just pay once for the park entrance, only when you get inside the park for the first time and then at the reception they provide you with braclet for the day in case you want to exit the park. That was a really unforgetabbble experience for our family. Thank you !!

I am totally in love with this place! We had the sea view bungalow which was super modern, clean and comfortable. We could literally watch the sunrise from Bed every morning while having a coffee from the coffee machine in the room. You just walk from Bed almost straight onto the beach. I also liked the style of rooms. AC and ventilator in the room, there was room cleaning every day. The options of the restaurants in the hotel were great and the quality of the food was amazing, even staying for a while I didn’t manage to try out all the dishes I wanted to, the once we tried definitely exceeded our expectations. The hotel stuff was super kind and friendly and always available for any kind of questions or requests. There was drinks and food service on the beach. I will definitely come back and also definitely get the front sea view room again, felt like paradise.

If you are looking for a calm place to stay it is an amazing location, not too many people and the rooms have separate entrances so you rarely bump to anyone. Very cozy atmosphere and beautiful sunrises, loved the Ramon restaurant and beach club and all the staff there, especially Juan and Giulliermo. Thank you for your service. Breakfast was delicious, also food on the menu is really good. Room was cleaned every day and was very clean and spacious. Also, guy at the reception was always very helpful, friendly and kind. Hotel is close to playa paraiso where you can find more restaurants if wanted. We felt safe during all our stay.

This was perfection. The room (beach house) had an amazing view over the ocean and tropical plants. Right from the terrace you walk straight onto the beach and into the ocean. Room was beautiful. Shower with a view over the ocean. Plunge pool. Hammock. The on site restaurant was amazing. We had breakfast (included) and lunch there. In 15 minutes you can walk along the sea to the ruins of Tulum. This hotel is so relaxed, quiet and beautiful. Everyone working there was very friendly. We didn’t want to leave.

The staff was so friendly, and every time I walked in, I was greeted by my first name. Nestor was amazing. He was so helpful and gave us a lot of recommendations of places to see in Tulum and restaurants to dine at. This place is truly a hidden gem. Once you walk through the door your transported to a little oasis. The rooms were very spacious and clean. It's quiet and relaxing with beautiful landscaping and decor. My friend and I had a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this little gem to anyone visiting Tulum! The prices are very reasonable as well for such an amazing spot! It is a good location to see the Mayan Ruins and it's about 20 minutes from the beach. They also have free bikes and atv and scooter rentals.

Very nice little hotel, very clean and with super friendly and helpful staff that gave great recommendations for excursions, restaurants and places at the beach. The hotel is in walking distance (ca 15mins) to the centre, and you can borrow bicycles to go the centre or the beach. Close by the hotel you find many bars, restaurants and cafés. The area felt safe to walk, also at night.

From the moment we walked in it was a little oasis of calm, the staff were super friendly and helpful. There was fresh coffee available at all times and the pool was lovely. The room was nicely decorated and had plenty of space for all our bags and dive gear! It was in a quiet area close to some nice restaurants and little bars and shops. We wanted a few quiet restful days and that is exactly what we got!

It was clean, comfortable with great amenities. they had a microwave at the common area and utensils and tea/coffee. My wife and I love buying fruits and it helped make it easier for us to prepare. the pool was clean and inviting. free rental bike were available. we had our own rental car which we just park outside designated for hotel guests good value for money, we were visiting during shoulder season. staff were ever friendly and helpful and gave suggestions on WhatsApp for breakfast/meals nearby. less than 10 minutes walk to a row of shops but catered for gringos very classy clean. Location great if you want it to be super chilled out and relaxed but also within walking distance to great bars & restaurants and a cycle to both beach areas. the free coffee and water daily is a perfect touch. everything about this hotel is amazing and can't fault it.

Our recent stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. Everything went smoothly, and it made our visit memorable. The hotel's location, close to the beach, provided stunning views right from our room. The room was perfect for a couple— spacious, impeccably clean, and comfortable. While the breakfast was tasty, the variety was somewhat limited, and the policy of allowing only one serving per guest, despite breakfast being included in the room rate, was a minor drawback. However, the highlight of our dining experience was undoubtedly the exceptional service from the hotel’s chef, Carlos. Carlos went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary preferences by arranging halal meat for us, which greatly enhanced our dining experience. His willingness to cater to our needs exceeded our expectations, and we can’t express enough appreciation for his thoughtfulness. He truly is a rockstar in his role. Additionally, the waitstaff during both breakfast and dinner was exceptional. They were consistently friendly, attentive, and ensured that we were comfortable and well taken care of. Their warm smiles and positive attitude truly made us feel welcome and added a special touch to our stay. Our stay at Mereva Tulum was peaceful and relaxing throughout our whole time there. Our room was clean and tidy, and the bed was cozy. The amenities of the pools, the swimming equipment and kayaks, as well as the close proximity to the beach and nearby cenote were all excellent features. And the breakfast meals were delicious and fresh. All the hotel and restaurant staff members we encountered were all extremely kind and helpful in making our stay as comfortable as possible. Also, the front desk staff Vic, Abraham, and Delia were all very considerate as they helped secure transportation for our excursions around Tulum and gave us helpful tips to make the most of our time spent in the downtown and hotel zone areas. To sum it all up, our stay at Mereva Tulum was a great place for a relaxing stay away from the noise of the city. We would consider staying here again in a future trip to Tulum!

We had the opportunity to dine at the hotel's restaurant, and the cuisine, service, and atmosphere were outstanding. The quality of the food was exceptional. I look forward to returning on my next visit to Tulum.

Mereva is a boutique hotel located 20 min from downtown Tulum. The decor, the staff, the vibe of the place is downright serene and peaceful. The calm lapping of the waves, peaceful instrumental music playing throughout the facility, rooms with private plunge pools and expansive view of the ocean were all a cathartic experience. The staff all the way from security at the gate, front desk personnel, cleaning and restaurant staff were a joy to be around. Francisco in particular, make the stay a memorable and enjoyable experience. They even accommodated our request of borrowing their snorkel gear to go visit the Gran Cenote and drop it back later in the day even though we had checked out earlier that day. I would go back in a heartbeat. The cleanliness of the property is also inpeccable. They provide with clean up and turn down service with lavish breakfast that you can eat to your heart’s content both in the lobby restaurant or in your room!

I was there during COVID and I had an amazing experience with my boyfriend. The view was amazing. Our room was with the jacuzzi right outside by the restaurant and I loved the room and the view from the room. The staff was very friendly. The complementary breakfast was delicious. Room service did a very well job as well.

Great location if you plan on going to the ruins. The staff at the hotel is amazing and super helpful. We enjoyed the hotel setup. It was great having a room with a jacuzzi. Enjoyed the drinks and food. The only suggestion I would have is that I wish the dinner menu had a few more options. We also loved the cookies in our room the first night we checked in. I wish they were on the menu. Would definitely stay here again.

After a conference in Cancun on a busy and noise Resort we really need a place to relax and enjoy ourselves. Mi Amor was PERFECT. Great location, safe, quiet and clean. Note, the Hotel is inside of Jaguar Park, giving you a beautiful preserve nature as backyard. The property is gorgeous, amazing views. You don't have access to the beach from the hotel but is just 5 minutes' walk to get beach entrance and you will have also all kind the other nice restaurants to enjoy you beach day. The food is delicious, my favorite was Shrimp Taco. the drinks are very good too. The rooms are very specious, comfortable and private. What makes this place even more special is the service, THEY are amazing, from the front desk with very knowledge girls always ready to help, restaurant very friendly and they will call you by name on second day, room service is 2 minutes: believe-me, they will be there before you get the door, and THE housekeeping: they are absolutely amazing, they clean your room twice a day, with fresh towels, organize all your stuff, and when you are out for dinner they come to open your bed and leave a lovely tray with delicious tea and chocolate. we had a lovely stay, perfect for our needs, relax and add a little romance on our life. if you like to enjoy Tulum, you will have a cab there in 5 minutes, I also recommend having a dinner in town at KARMA, ask for a "nest" table. Great experience and awesome food. For sure I will recommend MI AMOR Hotel to my family and friends.

Mi Amor Tulum Hotel Room 13 exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Located inside a national park, remember to bring cash for the entrance fee. The hotel offers a refund of 8 USD as restaurant credit, so make sure to ask for it. Upon arrival, the security staff was helpful, carrying our luggage from the free parking area. The front desk gave us a warm welcome, accompanied by refreshing drinks. The room, with its unique pink style and amazing bathroom, impressed us. While beach access was limited, the comfortable beach-style couches on the rocky cliffs provided a delightful experience, especially during sunsets. We felt safe with guards patrolling the property. Mi Amor Hotel offers a private and secure environment. The morning was blissful, enjoying the mini pool with plum trees swaying, music playing, and birds soaring above. The restaurant area, overlooking Tulum Beach, was a great spot. The servers were friendly, although the orange juice and watermelon juice were not as flavorful. However, the AVOCADOTOAST, JAPANESE-STYLE PANCAKES, and THE HANGOVER SANDWICH were delicious, particularly the pancakes. The checkout process was easy and hassle-free. I highly recommend Mi Amor Hotel to friends and anyone seeking an unforgettable experience in Tulum.

The hotel and its staff couldn't be better -- the rooms were lovely and comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful in every way. The restaurant is excellent. Mi Amor is located in the Nature Preserve outside of Tulum very near the Mayan ruin which is either a big plus or a big minus depending on why you're going to Tulum in the first place. If you love the loud boisterous bar and beach scene of the town, this is not the place for you. This is the place to get away from all that. The downside is if you want to sample more than a handful of restaurants, everything is a $25-$30 cab ride (each way). The hotel restaurant is excellent and there are a couple of other good ones within walking distance, but going out quickly becomes expensive. Local beaches are beautiful but were full of seaweed most (but not all) of the time we were there. Adults only (No kids running around) policy adds to the peace and quiet.

This boutique hotel is centric and super chic. The rooms with jacuzzi in the backyard are beautiful and they all have access to the beach. The food and drinks at the restaurant are good (a little overpriced though). Parking was right across the street. Definitely recommended!

In a calmer part of the beach and we were lucky to have missed the sargass season. Lovely staff and good Mexican food. we should have booked the room with the jacuzzi. Great ambience for family

Wow...do I dare tell others or do I keep this gem all to myself. Every detail and amenity of a 5 star hotel...turn down beds each night with a thermos of tea...beautiful room, balcony...fresh luxurious bed and bedding....the bathroom...drop shower...every thing you need to feel appreciated. Most unique staff...everyone is an amazing conversationalist...truly are interested to know and help you to make it your best stay. Personal care in the restaurant and beach...they actually have a day-bed for every person staying there...clean sand...clean beach... After walking the entire beach area....I knew I've found the best of the best hotel...st an amazing cost. Clean fresh food...custom coffee orders....live music at night. The hotel is quiet...plenty of room for a full hotel....still feel you are in your own place....plenty of room to accommodate a full hotel and still be in the Tulum vibe. To the management: your lead person Juan Carlos....places your hotel into "Excepcional" status...all your employees are exemplary...But Juan Carlos is a step above. I've traveled to many exclusive places....Juan Carlos is your "Pearl" Thank you to all!

Excellent experience during our stay at Le Zebra in Tulum. Staff is super friendly and efficient, from check in to room service and concierge. They know how to take good care of guest. The check in process was quick, we loved our sea facing room with hot tub. Room service is great, everything is delivered in almost a few minutes. The location is perfect, a quieter part of town yet close to everything. The beach is gorgeous, they keep it clean regularly. We enjoyed the beach club the most, we spent most of our time in one of the many sun beds on the beach, enjoying amazing cocktails and food from the restaurant. The restaurant is one of the best in the area, we loved the breakfast there. Overall a great experience with clean and well maintained rooms. However the highlight for the property is the beach club and the restaurant. Cannot wait to go back! Highly recommend Le Zebra when in Tulum!

I have stayed here a few times before but I particularly like my stay this time around. First, I was greeted by friendly staff and was surprised by an upgrade to an ocean front view room with a private pool. The room looked recently upgraded, very clean, with lots of light, a private pool and lounge area outside in a terrace area. The room was spacious and felt private yet close to everything. I love the area where La Posada is located because you have direct access to the beach and launches with umbrellas to enjoy the view and spend a whole day by the beach. The reservation included breakfast. The portions were good and tasted delicious. I am very picky with my coffee but the coffee they gave me was on point. I would recommend this place for couples or a solo traveler or small group ( I have stayed here with my 2 sisters before). Next time I am in Tulum, will keep the tradition of staying here. Pros: location, staff, room facilities, quiet

This was probably the best hotel in the area. My girlfriend and I went to a few other hotels to eat and see the beaches, but nothing compared in terms of the upkeep, smell from seaweed and the beach itself. The hotel is close to everything (shopping, food, currency exchange right outside, tours, etc) and the hotel shares a private beach with a few resorts which made it that much more memorable. This is a nude beach, so expect to see some skin. People aren't weird, which was nice. The room was amazing, two stories with a King and Queen bed on each floor. The bathroom was an open bathroom, so keep that in mind if you're going with a friend of opposite sex. There is NO air conditioning but they do provide a fan, and that helped keep things cool and manageable during the night. It does get hot during the day unless you sit directly in front of the fan. The staff was AMAZING and so kind and helpful. We were able to arrange shuttle service from hotel easily with no hassle or worry about being ripped off. The food was great! Don't expect fancy, but basic breakfast (fruit, black beans, huevos, amazing garlic salsa, yogurt, coffee, pineapple juice) I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a chic resort and relaxing time.

Perfect location, one of the best things for me was having easy access to the beach, not to mention the amazing staff, everyone was so accommodating and kind, the room was beautiful I had the pleasure of staying in both Garden view and beach view and both were exceptional and had their own vibe. If you’re looking for a nice relaxing spot to stay I would 100% recommend this place you won’t regret it! This was my first time solo travelling, perfect for any female traveller looking for a safe and comfortable place to stay in Tulum 😊

Good location with private beach. Perfect for chill out in a boutique style, only few rooms, but only in the building at the beach. There are 2 another buildings on the other side of the road, with no view, no access to the beach etc. Very helpful staff. Good option for breakfast, although the are plenty of other options on the street nearby. Great beach terrace with beautiful sea view. Clean and nice lobby.

We love the ambiance. We rented the regular room upstairs on the other side of the road, but there's beach front room options. We had a big bed, big bathroom, big balcony with beautiful greens and flowers. Rooms/balcony have a hammock. Consider that some rooms have open-concept bathrooms so no door. The beach was more private and the size was decent for a walk and swim, sand bottom not rocky. Nice view and beach sitting areas. The room was big with nice design, very tropical. Dim light, so when we needed to upload our passport for online checkin in the evning the light wasn't enough. There's candle for more romantic feel. If you forgot to close the windows/doors, theres mosquito net and repellent. This property has rooms on the beach side and on the other side of the road. If you book regular rooms or non-beach front, you'll just have to cross the street to accress the beach through the property. Free purified drinking water enough for 2 days or maybe more. Rental bike was cash only non negotiable price that time. But there are other options in the area. AC worked great but has limited timings 9pm-9am. Their soap, shampoo etc are organic. Highly recommended.

Super clean, comfortable beds, nice little pool and great entertainment in room. Service from the staff was impeccable and breakfast very tasty. All in all a great experience. My only reservation is that it's a little far from the beach so you might need a car or taxi for that!

The Hubby and I fell in love with the place. So clean, quiet the view is fantastic and the staff was absolutely fantastic. Gerardo went above and beyond for us even on his day off which honestly made our stay that much better. We also met Mirta and Raul which were also soo awesome! The pool outside is also super cute the way its set up. We are definitely coming back next year as a family. Gerardo should definitely be an extra rewarded employee, he honestly did go above and beyond for us.

We love that Tulum is a jungle. Trees, vines and plants embrace this property offering tranquility. They have a sister hotel at the beach and we used it one day with no minimum spend. We rented bikes directly from the front desk for $16 each one day. The food in the restaurant was pretty good. Frank was very friendly and welcoming at the front and Jose, our pool bartender, made great drinks and was so fun to talk to and help us with our Spanish. The hotel is a 3 mile bike ride to the beach. However, we chose it because we spent our time in Aldea Zama. It’s a short walk to a market, 7-11, coffee shops and restaurants.

the property is beautiful. the customer service of employees was so friendly and helpful from dinner @ the restaurant to the front desk. it feels like your own private oasis. the neighborhood is cute and has many food options. I also liked it was between the beach and city center so easy to navigate. TV has streaming options. the best wws one or the most comfortable hotel beds i’ve ever been in I wish I could take it home with with me!! Such a peaceful vibe and a special shout ou to Jimenia and Alejandro for exceptional service during my stay.

The people who work there from the front desk to the kitchen to the bartenders and wait staff are amazing and this property is GORGEOUS! If you are looking for a Swiss Family Robinson experience then this is it. Very old Tulum style but with a touch of Luxury. We had the Upstairs Master suite and I would highly recommend this room. Both sides open up wide to separate balconies. It’s also amazing how private the room felt. The only issue was the tip system was a little confusing. I was told ahead of time that the tip was included in the check total in the restaurant and bar. We tipped the servers more because they were all amazing. Then when we checked out they had a separate area on the invoice which had added an additional tip. (You could decline it) We were a little confused as we tipped the housekeeper as well. We declined to add the extra, extra tip and I’m now just afraid I don’t tip enough! Maybe the tip was NOT included in the check. Otherwise a lovely, fun stay

Gorgeous boutique hotel! Very quiet and romantic setting. Staff was friendly and helpful during our stay. Rooms were very clean and well maintained. Our water did go out once, but besides that we had running hot water the rest of our trip. Drinks were amazing as well (shoutout to Antonio for being our favorite bartender in Tulum)!

Poolside bar and restaurant. Plunge pools drained each day. Continental breakfast was delicious and many more options to purchase if wanted more. Shower and jungle view of full wall of windows made this have a nice luxury feel. Beautiful boutique hotel. Very odd almost hidden entrance. Took a moment to find find.

Did a lot of research before booking Mereva. For the price I couldn’t find another spot that was as nice. Everything about our stay was perfect, and I consider myself picky. We booked a king beachfront and originally I asked for ground level to walk our to the beach but we ended up with third floor and I’m very grateful we did. In the morning we woke up to the sun rising over the ocean and palm trees blowing in the wind. Our room was stocked with a mini nespresso, water, a few beer and pop every day. Our room was very well decorated, clean, the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was so nice. Beachfront is a bit noisy because of the wind (if you don’t like wind don’t go to Mexico its always windy but it keeps the heat manageable). The property is extremely well kept. Beach is small but they all are now with the seaweed issue. Location is perfect if you want quiet, hotel zone is full of beach merchandisers, partying, this location is quiet private. Service is top notch. Id recommend the hotel transfer with Tucan Kin. If you’re looking for clear water and white sandy beaches Mexico is not your spot right now - seaweed is a serious issue there and this resort made a effort to clear it daily but it’s impossible. Id recommend checking out Nerea down the street for food so good and beautiful spot. Thats where I would book next time (adults only). An absolutely fantastic stay! I came here alone to celebrate my birthday and Hotel Mereva totally delivered! GORGEOUS views, quiet little strip of beach to enjoy the sun and yummy meals, and fantastic service with Samantha, Erick, and Luis. Had an ocean view room on the second floor with a hammock that was simply heaven. Room was beautifully decorated, spacious, super comfortable, great shower with strong water pressure and wifi (though you'll want to unplug!). Also right next door to a great dive shop (Manati) that will take you out on a boat to snorkel the coral reef in the ocean (the reason I went!). Splurge -- it's totally worth it. Would strongly recommend for solo travelers and couples looking for a romantic getaway! Can't wait to return. (Reading in the hammocks on the piers was my favorite part.) (Also FWIW, I had no interest in the party scene in Tulum Pueblo proper, I wanted a quiet, relaxing time and this delivered perfectly!)

This place was incredible! My girlfriend and I were blown away during our 2 night stay. From the beginning, we were greeted with friendly, warm staff eager to help. Francisco was the BEST front desk staff member, super nice and funny, and met all purpose needs. We ate at the onsite restaurant every day, and because of this place we are stuck searching for something so delicious back at home! The brisket was mouth watering, we both ordered it 2 nights im a row. Do not skip it. All of the food was authentic and fresh. Special thanks to Oscar and Eric for serving us and bringing us beers on the beach. The room was perfect for just us 2, we spent a lot of time just looking out at the view. We splurged on a private plunge pool room and it didn’t not disappoint. And a double headed shower with SEPARATE controls. Yes! There are many amenities onsite, as well as many nearby hotels and restaurants that host events nightly. The overall neighbourhood is entirely under security and seemed very safe. We are definitely coming back here if given the chance. If not the location, or the food, the staff make this place.

We cannot recommend Mereva enough for a romantic getaway in Tulum, and the photos are not only accurate but may undersell just how great of an experience it is. The views are stunning (highly recommend the deluxe beachfront type), the staff is warm and helpful, the entire property is well kept, and the restaurant is delicious! The beach at Mereva was far more beautiful than those near the main beach strip of Tulum. In terms of location, we preferred being driving distance from town and the beach strip for added privacy and beauty, but do note all the places you want to go are driving distance away (as is the case with most accommodations in Tulum). We rented a scooter in town for $20 per day and had an absolute blast driving it around. We rented it out of necessity to get around Tulum, but it ended up being a highlight of the trip. Also note that Cenote Manati is 200 feet from the entrance of the hotel, and a beautiful cenote to see. Dos Ojos cenotes are also very nearby (and a shorter drive from Mereva than from town or the beach strip). 10/10 cannot recommend Mereva enough!

If looking for a small and quiet hotel, this is it! Everyone at Mereva is on a mission to make your stay wonderful. From the moment you set foot in this Hotel you will get the best service! Aaron, Oscar, Eric and Jose Luis treated us to the best restaurant experience. Food is made from scratch and is delicious. Our Housekeeping Lady {did not get her name} did a great job keeping our room fresh and clean. She was always very nice as well. The Hotel is 20 years old, there are 25 rooms that are very spacious with huge bathrooms with double sinks and showers! Most rooms have balconies with ocean views, but we choose something more retreated and private. We had a pool just a few steps from our room and had a private porch where we sat in the evenings to enjoy the sounds and smells of the ocean with a pleasant breeze. There are a few things you need to know, not to deter you but to make you aware. This privileged location is about 1hour from the Tulum International airport and 15 minutes from downtown Tulum. Taxis are VERY expensive, so if it is an option, rent a car! If you want to visit the Cenotes, downtown or go to other beaches, you need some sort of transportation. There is really nothing nearby except a small convenient store and two other restaurants in their two sister Hotels. This area has no white sandy beaches like Cancun, they are very rocky but still beautiful. Water shoes are a must to enjoy swimming in the ocean. There is a Cenote across the street from hotel.

I recently spent a weekend at Secrets Tulum Resort & Beach Club, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The resort's beautiful design and lush surroundings immediately caught my attention, and the staff's warm hospitality made me feel right at home. *Room and Amenities* My room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and sleek. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the complimentary beach bag with towels. *Dining and Activities* The resort's restaurants offered a variety of delicious cuisine, and I particularly enjoyed dining at Jasmines and Bluewater Grill. *Beach Club* The beach club was a highlight of our stay, with crystal-clear waters and comfortable seating areas. The shuttle service to the beach club was convenient. *Service* The staff at Secrets Tulum were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. From housekeeping to concierge services, the team was professional and courteous.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are amazing, and all the food outlets are great. All the staff are so polite and attentive, and the entertainment on an evening was great. The pool areas are absolutely beautiful, it feels like you’re in paradise. The Edgewater bar staff were particularly great, and very attentive. Christian was particularly good, and remembered our order and brought it to us! The restaurants were amazing, the steak place was our favourite. The buffet restaurant was also amazing, the variety was excellent and always delicious. The Beach Club is really nice, we went here a couple of times and loved it. There was always a shuttle ready when we wanted to go, so never had to wait. The beach not being right by the door wasn’t an issue, as the pool areas are so nice and there’s so many of them- and the beach club is always easy to get to.

I stayed in the Preferred Junior Suite Tropical View, which came with butler service and full access to the Preferred Lounge. The lounge itself was such a highlight it had its own bartender serving top-shelf liquor, plus a delicious breakfast spread and snacks throughout the day. The Preferred Beach Area was equally impressive, offering a relaxing, exclusive atmosphere with poolside service right on the sand. The resort offered fantastic daily activities from Lotería and Mexican Night with dancers to taco and ceviche bars, and even foam pool parties that were so much fun. The pools are cenote-inspired, giving them a unique and luxurious vibe, and again the poolside service was top-notch. The shuttle to the beach club runs every 15 minutes, and while it’s about a 15-minute ride, it’s totally worth it once you arrive. The spa hydrotherapy circuit is a must! You definitely get your moneys worth at this resort from the cleanliness to the services. Overall, I can’t recommend Secrets Tulum enough it’s absolutely perfect for bachelorette or bachelor trips, or young groups of friends looking for a fun, stylish getaway. As it can get a little noisy with certain groups and the design of the outside spaces. I definitely plan to return!

Staying at Aldea Cobá was an absolute dream. Nestled in the heart of the jungle, this boutique hotel offers the perfect blend of luxury and nature. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated with local touches, and equipped with all the modern amenities you could need. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle and enjoying coffee on the private terrace was pure magic. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable—always friendly, attentive, and ready with great local recommendations. The on-site restaurant serves delicious, authentic dishes, and the pool area is the perfect spot to unwind after exploring the nearby Cobá ruins. If you’re looking for a unique, peaceful getaway that immerses you in nature while offering top-notch service, Aldea Cobá is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back.

In the middle of the jungle this wonderful nice, moderm and comfortable, private cabins. I had experience before that places don't look like the pictures and it is kind of disappointed. But this was not the case the place is better than all the pictures I saw. A very peaceful an amazing place everybody was very friendly and accomadate all our needs. We stay at one with our own pool and porch that looks into the jungle, we felt like we were in our own private world, able to hear the beautu of the birds in the area while relaxing watching all the amazing plabts that grow in that area. I didnt like that they had a Starbucks, when I believe the local coffe is better, but I complete understand how that can attract people, the restaurant was all cook for you at the moment and it was worth the wait. CHEF Jose does a great job presenting delicious traditional dishes in a more modern style. We love it so much that we ate there almost our whole stay. Wilfred, Luis, Ismael theybwere all friendly and ready to serve all our needs. My brother in law told them the ceiling fan was amking a weird noise and not turning on or something. Well we went out abd came back to find out a brand new ceiling fan installed in the room. That is what I said more than excelent services you guys get +100

Aldea Coba was our last stop on long trip to see Mayan Ruins and cenotes. We had an amazing stay! It was by far our favorite hotel of the trip. It is a beautiful getaway very close to Coba ruins. There was an initial snag with the reservation, but Hugo and his family and staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was ironed out and that we were comfortable. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The restaurant on site is DELICIOUS. It is definitely the best accommodation in the area. I would recommend this escape to anyone traveling to Quintana Roo or the Yucatan. Wish I could go back now!

A beautiful, comfortable getaway that is only 5 minutes from Coba! Family-owned by an extremely friendly family. The food is amazing... I recommend you order the Mayan Chocolate drink and watch the presentation. The king bungalow was everything we wanted. The pictures do not do it justice. My wife loved this place so much we extended our stay another night and had dinner in bed. There is no tv, but there is Wifi and a powerful air conditioner! The family was very attentive to everything we asked... we will stay here again one day.

We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Posada 06 and loved it! We stayed near the beach the rest of our trip but wanted to be more central for a few days while we did activities outside of Tulum ans this was the perfect location. It is just a block off the main strip and super close to great restaurants and the little shops. The hotel staff was so friendly and went out of their way to help us locate a few places we wanted to go. Super close to an ATM, Bike Rental and the best place to get delicious tacos at lunch for less than $2.50/person is just around the corner. The big tree in the middle of the courtyard surrounded by the little pool was so charming and when it was lit up a night was beautiful. Rooms were clean and I was very surprised how quiet it was a night. It was our little oasis to come back to each evening. Breakfast was fresh and cooked to order each morning. I loved the fresh fruit and their coffee is delicious. My only complaint is that the pillows were not comfortable. The beds were fine and they had cozy blankets available but the pillows were a bit lumpy. If they invested in new pillows I'd have given it a 5 on comfort!

The hotel staff were really friendly and always happy to help. The pool area was perfect to relax at. The rooms were spacious, tidy and comfortable, and the communal areas for relaxing were also very clean. The location was perfect for exploring the local area. The bikes were also a perfect addition for getting to the beach and slightly further afield. Couldn't recommended this hotel highly enough.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Posada. The staff were very nice and very accommodating. The staff speak good English (if needed), and are always around to help. Our room was cleaned every day, without having to request it. Free drinking water was provided in the common area which is a great amenity. The area is super walkable. It's nice and quiet at night, but easily accessible to great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and shops. Also a quick drive down to the beach. A note for WFH employees: The wifi is stable but can be shaky when it rains, and if you're sharing a room it's not the best setup. For us, there wasn't a chair/desk area to do work, so you'd have to do it from bed. You're better off working from a coffee shop imo.

Such a lovely hotel! All the staff were super friendly and helpful, from the breakfast team to the front desk. There was somewhere to refill bottles of drinking water which was great. The room was lovely, with good storage space and a safe, the balcony was really cute and the pool area was great to relax in after hot days exploring. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was powerful. The location was excellent, right by the main street with lots of shops and places to eat. It felt safe to walk back to as well. Absolutely loved staying here and would definitely come back!
