Clean hotel, friendly staff, spacious rooms. The bed was really comfy, slept so well. We visited the Spa which was a lovely experience, the hotel restaurant had friendly staff, breakfast was nice - basic choises but lots of local ingredients. the restaurant used a lot of local ingredients also at dinner which is nice, although dinner left room for improving. Maincourse was excellent, starter a disaster and dessert ok. Staff could have told a bit more of the history of the place, or at least ask if we were interested in learning more.

Staying in this hotel was a truly memorable experience. The building’s history as a former prison gave the entire place a unique and fascinating atmosphere – every detail reflected its past while still offering modern comfort. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with a variety of fresh, high-quality choices. The surrounding environment was beautiful and peaceful, adding to the charm. Our room was stylish, comfortable, and very well equipped. A perfect blend of history and hospitality – highly recommended!

This fabulous hotel is a converted prison and they have done a great job of modernising the interior whilst still keeping the historic aspects in mind. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Our room was large and nicely decorated in keeping with the hotel theme. The location is excellent for exploring Turku - just a few minutes walk to the funicular takes you down to the main harbour area where you can walk to the sights. The hotel is set up on the hill and is in a very quiet area which is nice to stay in. They have a separate spa - just a few minutes walk. The spa is absolutely amazing, the highlight of our stay. There are multiple pools - cold, hot, saltwater, swimming and different steam rooms and saunas. There is a snow shower which I thought was fabulous. Highly recommend making time to visit the spa if you stay here. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good quality and a reasonable price. They have vegan dishes on the menu - I had the sushi bowl which was very tasty. Breakfast had some vegan options, not a huge variety but enough to make a decent breakfast. We parked in the open car park behind the hotel. I paid through easypark but I think you can also pay at reception. It was a reasonable price. I think they have a covered garage aswell but we didn't go there. Overall I really loved this hotel and would recommend it.

Converted prison converted to high quality, quirky hotel accommodation in immaculate condition, retaining a lot of the original prison features. Located a few minutes away from the Aura river, and about equidistant between the Castle and the Cathedral. Check in was friendly, helpful and efficient, with on site parking charges explained (€20 a night). There is a public multi-storey parking facility just outside the prison walls, but we didn’t investigate that. Our room was a good size, well thought out design, and nicely equipped with smart TV, quality bathroom products and comfortable bed. Air conditioning controls were hidden in the side of bed head, but once found was able to switch the fan off so it was nice and quiet overnight. With the walls between rooms being original, it’s very quiet! Breakfast had a good selection of items available, with lovely freshly baked bread, and a variety of ‘hot’ breakfast items too. The ginger shots were a great kick start to the morning. Great, quiet location to base yourself in Turku, which has lots to explore (especially in the sunshine).

One night weekend stay in hotel Kakola, junior suite room. We spent so called relaxation get away in Kakola area and it was a great experince for us. Great cocktails in lobby bar, good overall atmosphere, great dinner in hotel restaurant ruben, great service from friendly staff and the room was comfortable, stylish and clean. Positive suprise was the soda stream machine in room. We visited also Kakola spa and Kakola brewery during our stay, which was just 300 meter walk from the hotel. Only thing that would need improvement was the breakfast, too much premade poor quality foods on the service e.g scrambled eggs was horrible. I would enjoy quality over options quantity. Nice hotel with great staff in overall, would come again and also recommend to others.

A nice little hotel with breakfast and the possibility to stay with a dog, free parking in the yard, within walking distance of the center of Naantali. Cozy rooms in a style as if you were visiting grandma. Squeaky floor and of course, the audibility is high, because the house is old and you can hear everything that happened. But it was nice to wake up to the sounds and smells of breakfast coming from the kitchen.

The staff was extremely welcoming and very kind to meet my request for an early check-in. I loved the care they put into making the room and the whole hotel warm and welcoming. The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk to the old city.

Very cozy place! Perfect place to stay and will be back in summer with children. Breakfast fantastic! Atmosphere supper - feels like visiting favorite grandma.

The breakfast though can be improved on. I was asked at what time I would come at the buffet as they worked in shifts (is a positive thing). Yet, when I came to the breakfast I was told the tables were pretty full. If it was known by the hotel when people would arrive, I would have preferred to have been told to vome later or earlier. After catching a table, getting the breakfast was pretty chaotic due go the limited space and the great amount of people. Maybe repositioning the buffet could help? More staff for a faster cleaning of tables and restock the buffet would also be a potential improvement point. Nevertheless, I want to mention the staff which have been of great help and advice to get around. Lovely hotel in the centre of Turku with easy access to busses and taxes. Shops and other services were within walking distance. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Breakfast in the pleasant restaurant was amazing with plenty to choose from. The room was very tidy and pleasant with coffee making facilities and mini bar. Excellent bed and nice bathroom with good shower. Staff everywhere very helpful. We had a great stay!

This is a very organized and well-run hotel, with an excellent restaurant. The air-cooling system worked quite well and the bed was very comfortable. *note: I booked through another provider and not Tripadvisor The buffet breakfast had many varieties of hot and cold dishes. My only complaints are a very poor (weak) coffee and scrambled eggs, but the other dishes were very tasty. The staff are friendly. The location is close to public transport and restaurants, and one can walk to many attractions within 10-15 minutes from the hotel. Turku is a very green and calm city.

The Börs is a classic hotel that was completely renovated a few years ago. I hadn’t visited here since the renovation and was very satisfied with how they had updated the hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and peaceful. The overall ambiance was stylish. The breakfast offered a high-quality and abundant selection. For those unfamiliar with Turku, the hotel is also located in one of the best spots in the city center, offering easy access to shops, restaurants, bars, and attractions.

A hotel of real character and with a history. All rooms are different. Very comfortable and welcoming. Situated in a quiet location with good access to city centre and river. Welcoming staff and excellent breakfast from 7am.

The property is well located and easily walkable to the main areas of the city. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and individually themed, making them a little quirky, which was cool. It was incredibly hot during my visit and the rooms do not have a/c, this wasnt an issue for me. Breakfast choices were vast and plenty of it. I really liked my stay and would happily stay here again.

The room had character, was spacious and furnished eclectically with colourful objects. I’ve never shared a room with a life sized china hunting dog before! The breakfast room was full of things to look at, rather like visiting grandparents’ houses, and like grandma’s, the food was excellent, plentiful and varied. Importantly, all staff were incredibly helpful. Not the modern Scandinavia vibe- and different is good.

The interior of the room was classic and elegant, full of wonderful art, which perfectly suited the spirit of the building. The breakfast was perhaps limited, but tasty and in a cozy space. And there were pancakes for breakfast too!

On arrival by car, I went in into reception and the English speaking front desk were very helpful and directed me to the underground dedicated parking with lift directly to the hotel reception. I had an early start with breakfast and the hotel offered to prepare a take away breakfast which they put together in the morning with me present. Very helpful. Rooms modern with everything you need including iron and ironing board in the room. Would certainly recommend and will stay again next time I’m in the area.

We stayed two nights in December 2021. We had a nice visit. Hotel is relatively new so everything was clean. Breakfast was good. Best part was that it is next to the train station. We took a train from Helsinki airport to Kupittaa station, did not even need to go outside in order to get to the hotel. Very convenient, will use the hotel in the future when visiting Turku next time.

Well designed, simplistically furnished. Industrial room fittings, clean, comfortable, great sized TV and ipad in room. City centre within walking distance, public transport closely available. Simple check in. Staff helpful. Only downside is extra cost for parking, otherwise a great stay.

I know that some people don’t want to be chatty and I think she can gauge which ones do and which ones don’t. We welcomed the friendly service. She was also very professional. She gave us great recommendations and even though she was busy she didn’t make us feel rushed. We had a view of the river which is gorgeous and relaxing. Great to jog or stroll along its beautiful walking/jogging paved path. The breakfast was vast and everything you could possibly want and the room was huge with views of the river as well. We’ve stayed in nice rooms in over 7 of the Baltic cities on this trip but this room was the largest. Really comfortable with a desk area and a lounge area. Kettle and coffee/tea in the room. Workout gym was pretty big. I didn’t use the sauna. Coffee in the lobby 24 hours. I highly recommend.

I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Turku hotel, and I was thoroughly impressed! The hotel's location was absolutely amazing - it was within walking distance to everything I needed, from restaurants and shops to attractions and public transportation. The hotel itself was also very good, with comfortable rooms and excellent amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was modern and sleek. I would definitely recommend the Radisson Blu Turku to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in the city. The location alone is worth it - it's truly central and makes exploring Turku a breeze!

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The room was spotless, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. The complimentary slippers were a thoughtful and appreciated touch. Every staff member I encountered was warm, welcoming, and professional, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Breakfast was wonderful and we were served coffee at our table a real treat. One small issue—our in-room telephone didn’t work, so we weren’t able to order room service. We ended up using a local takeaway instead, although we would have preferred to dine in. Hopefully, this is something that can be easily checked for future guests. The cleaning team at 09:00 were a little too noisy next door too but we managed to ignore. Overall, a fantastic stay and we would gladly return.

Having stayed at Radisson Blu hotels before, we were looking forward to the breakfast, and Radisson Blu in Turku did not disappoint! Breakfast was served in a large and busy room, but the staff were very attentive at clearing tables and providing coffee as soon as we were seated. The choice of breakfast items from self-serve counters was extensive, and there remained a good selection right up to the end of service. The reception staff were very helpful in dealing with all our enquiries, provided us with umbrellas for our walk into town when the heavens opened, and arranged for free passes on the bus to take us back to the airport. As a additional bonus the bus stop was directly outside the hotel. The free coffee in the lobby for loyalty card holders was also appreciated.

The place of the property in the city was very good. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The facilities were great. The breakfast was very good. You could find a lot of delicous food. The room has air conditioner. The bathroom was very comfort and clean. Tv in the room was very good. The bed was large and comfortable. The view of the room was good. There was a department store next to the hotel. The lobby was very good with good coffee. If I go back to Turku, I would like to stay in this hotel again.

The hotel rooms were modern/trendy, clean and comfortable. Service at the reception was also very friendly and good. I definitely recommend sleeping here! However, the breakfast was unfortunately a dissapointment. We expected it to reflect the overall ambience of the hotel, but it was a basic continental breakfast you can find at any chain hotel, and not even the good kind. I would have expected to see more ecological and trendy products (müsli, selection of fruits and berries, eggs, cheese, meats). The eggs unfortunately were disgusting, both the boiled ones as well as the scrambled ones. Guest were allowed to seat themselves, which created slight chaos and uneven seating. One man dining alone was sitting at a table for 6pers, so we (4pers) had to eat at a sofa by the bar. Positive was that the hotel had dealt out timeslots for dining, to avoid rush hour, however, I’m skeptical as to how well guests abided them.

Great location in the middle of the city centre. Very convenient that there is a shopping centre in the same building. Lively atmosphere in the lobby coffeehouse. Roof top bar is amazing and well worth a visit! Reception staff were exceptional friendly and helpful. Rooms were simple but clean and had everything essential.

Excellent location in a peaceful area outside city centre of Turku/Åbo. Very easy to find and go by car to there. On the other hand very good location to drive from there to different directions and sights of Turku and surrounding cities and areas. Good breakfast with very friendly service. Also lunch was available if needed from Monday to Friday - very nice option! Everything was in a very good shape with high level of housekeeping. Modern and very clean rooms. Beautifully surrounded by forestal area. Spacious parking area. Friendly and helpful reception.

The breakfast is served 7-9 am on weekdays in the college cafeteria. It is a bit early on holiday but understandable for school schedule. There is enough variety with cooked eggs, yogurt, fruit, fresh bread, cheese, cold cuts, and some veg, also the outmeal porridge was well stewed. Large college area with several buildings and the guest accommodation building was nice and quiet. There is also a fully equipped kitchen for guest use - comes handy if you need a fridge for example. We had our own electric car and it's possible to recharge it on the college parking area which is very convenient. Don't know about public transportation. We were very pleased and will come again. Very good value for money. Most welcoming and helpful staff - warmest thanks to the reception!

Room was clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good for that price. I was able to put my bike inside, and I really liked that. And as I has the bike, it was easy to bike to the city center of Turku (4km), so this hotel was good location for me. Peaceful.

Compact modern twin room with new furniture and plenty electrical sockets and even a usb plug in the table lamp. Comfortable single beds and enough lights available. Wardrobe and clothes hangers are there. Good hot shower. Plenty of free parking but be aware you will need to walk a little to reach the hotel rooms. Elevator is available to reach the upper floors. Breakfast is included but did not completely satisfy the expectations of a Scandinavian breakfast. Sauna and swimming pool are available for hotel guests.

Everything was perfect. The room was clean, the reception girl was friendly and helped in everything, good breakfast, available sauna and swimming pool, beautiful nature around. It was absolutely worth the money.

The location is in central Turku, about the best location as can be. The breakfast was good, fresh fruits and vegetables. Coffee was good also. There was even a state-of-the-art air purifier elegantly hidden in the restaurant, which helps to reduce the virus concentration of the air. Rare in hotels but very thoughtful. The soundproofing of the hotel room door was very good. We did not hear any noise from the corridor during our stay. The window view was the inner yard and no noise from there either. The locks of the room very old. Could they be from mid 1970s. The floor tiles of the bathroom were luxurious, they sparkled like new and were not slippery. The biggest bath towels were comfy soft and thick. Rituals shampoo and shower gel. The bed and mattress were good, not too soft, the pillow was comfortable and the linen were quality items, one could notice it from the first touch. We hired the sauna, which was hot enough and the sauna stove was better than average, giving enjoyable löyly. This hotel is highly recommendable in our opinion.

Clean, comfortable and overall a great room at a very convenient location. Staff was kind and welcoming. The room is relatively small which was completely fine for us, since we did not have much luggage. Parking in the yard is a bit tight, so we opted to park our car on the street, and it was easy to find a spot although the location is very central. Breakfast was really nice and tasty.

A sufficient number of shelves for things in room and bathroom, which are often lacking in hotels. Normal lighting from the ceiling, again yes, for some reason hotels have a fashion for rather dark lighting only from the wall. Overall, the room was comfortable.

Good location - walkable to buses and trains. Bus number 1 runs from ferry terminal to Market Square, which is two blocks from the property. Clean. Excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Interesting design by a boatbuilder, so there is clever use of limited space in smaller rooms that actually provides more storage areas than larger rooms in other properties.

With good memories of our 4-day stay at Hotel Centro nevertheless this small comment. Our flight back to Belgium left at 05.00 am. We asked for breakfast to be prepared and this was no problem at all. Disappointment when opening the bag that this was 1 sandwich, 1 apple and 1 candy. We stayed at the hotel with 4 people and my studying daughter in Turku came for 3 days breakfast for € 22/breakfast. Should our flight have left a few hours later, we could have still enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet. 1 sandwich, 1 apple and 1 candy does not fill an empty stomach and then paid dearly.

Everything was great ! I came very late in the night , but that was not an issue. The key card was waiting for me on the gas station just opposite to the hotel! The room had a nice size, comfy beds , tv, mini fridge. It's just right next to the bus station but surprisingly - not even a smaller noises was reaching the room . Perfect location if you also planning to take a train, cause train station is 7 min away walking. Easy. The airport bus stops just next to the hotel so its very convenient as well ! With the short walk you are in the city center or the Aura river. And not to mention the heated floor in the bathroom ! :) Breakfast was served in the resto on the ground floor, lots of choices , very friendly staff. Perfect hours of breakfast on the weekends ! :) There is a machine for coffee/tea in the mid floor, so you can use it 24/7. You can ask for the iron at the reception if you need. Everything was so perfect !

Hotel is located in city center, just a few steps from bus station and a short walk from main railwaystation. Room was comfortable, tidy, cosy and warm. Hotel staff is nice, easygoing and helpful. Breafast was simply perfect with great choice of fresh and tasty dishes.

Central location, easy to park right in front of the hotel (public parking though), breakfast was quite basic, but good. Staff in the coffee shop very friendly. Rooms were clean and even though by the road, you couldn't hear any noise from the street. Friendly staff.

Solid standard that doesn't go down. Everything was very clean - room, bathroom, towels, sheets & covers, the halls. The bathrooms have heated floor panels which means no humidity or water lingering in the crevices and definitely no mold (which unfortunately sometimes happens in hotels). Great breakfast included in the price of the room and free, very good coffee from the vending machine. The rooms are incredibly silent, you won't hear the people who are in the room next to yours or the noise from the street (and that's despite the fact that the hotel is located by one of the main streets of Turku center). Very convenient location - right next to the bus station, within walking distance from the Turku market square. There are at least two Hesburgers in the vicinity as well as R-Kioski and some markets which is very convenient if you need something late in the evening.

Everything! The bedroom is my dreamy bedroom : a large bedroom with a big bed that’s so comfortable, and the same goes for the sofa with footrest and a blanket ! There are slippers and bathrobe. Charming atmosphere and amazing breakfast - nice specialization in wafers. Gorgeous views to the sea, very good location both for a seaside stroll, as well as easy access to Moominworld. Really comfy and clean rooms with a porch having a great view to the seaside.

The room is really nice and cozy. The breakfast is great, I love the waffle and the salad that came with it also taste so fresh and good. The location is great too, good view of the harbour and Naantali church, just about 10 mins walk from the bus station and 1 min away from the Moomin World. Oh, and they have a big dog that is really really friendly and cute!

This is a pretty nice place to stay with a perfect breakfast. We spent a night with a daughter here during our visit to Moomin Park, and our experience was super. Nice and quiet place, a perfect view, good staff, and is close to everything.

Pros: The view on the resort grounds good restaurant experience (both breakfast and lunch / dinner) gym + sauna (open 5:00 - 22:00) , functionalities adequate free parking Cons: Rooms are very basic location is little remote restaurants / bars close quite early but there is a good size fridge on the room sauna / lockers area wasn't cleaned and towels were ran down at 7 am there is a lot going on and even though everything worked well it felt little restless

hotel rooms are very clean and comfortable, located in a peaceful setting but just a couple of hundred meters from services and activities like restaurants, club house, saunas, driving range, golf course, frisbee golf. Beach, swimming platform and yacht club are little further out but still a walking distance.

As mentioned in an earlier review, proximity to the Finnlines Ferry Terminal as main driver to stay here again as it is only 10 minutes away. Arriving in on the inbound sailing from Aland at almost 8pm that makes the difference. Third occasion we have stayed here and we would not return if not happy. Apartment is accessible with two small steps in. However, the apartment is on a steep hill, so, use the car to go to the main building for breakfast, don't use a wheelchair. Apartment was well presented, and equipped with everything needed. Two complaints I had about a faulty dishwasher and loose toilet seat were dealt with promptness in the morning when I mentioned them at breakfast. By the time we had returned to the apartment, all has been fixed. Breakfast is excellent with great views over the golf course. If you want a noisy time, then this may not be the place for you as we have found it always quite which we like. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in this area, put it on your consideration list. Be prepared if you arrive after 8pm, you may need to collect you keys from a designated area. However, you will be informed of this, and where to find them.

There is a Gluten Free separate table with enough for a breakfast but there is many things on the main table that are gluten free also. Good value although we were there for one night when there was a festival nearby so probably is usually a bit cheaper. There is a childrens' playroom beside the breakfast but it didn't seem that loud and seemed like a good idea. Reception staff were efficient and helpful re travel arrangements. Room was good, curtains were 90% blackout curtains - air conditioning worked well. The carpets in the corridors were worn and not clean which gave a poor first impression although the rooms were better.

We just returned from a trip to Moominvalley with my 5 year old daughter, where we stayed at the excellent Naantali SPA hotel. The hotel is right by the sea, so the SPA has a stunning view of the yachts and small islands of the Turku archipelago, which, by the way, is the largest archipelago in the Baltic Sea and consists of 20,000 islands. The SPA zone is very spacious, there is a huge indoor pool, a special pool for water aerobics with a video screen, a jacuzzi, several saunas, a great warm outdoor pool and a relaxation area with sun loungers with a great view ❤️ Excellent breakfasts with a good choice, the restaurant has an outdoor terrace with a view of the sea. We stayed in a family room on the fourth floor with a view of the lakes, the rooms are spacious and cozy, great for the whole family. Moominvalley is about 1.5 km from the hotel, you can get there by train or on foot - I recommend walking along the shore, there is a very beautiful path with a view, or alternatively, you can rent bicycles from the hotel.

It was my 3rd time in Finland (a wonderful country!), this time in the southwest, in Turku. We stayed at this Hotel, which offers apartment-style accommodations that are part of the hotel. We were there for a international competition, so it was the official competition hotel, and we decided to go for a more budget-friendly option with their apartments — excellent decision! There were 5 of us, and we stayed in a 3/BR apartment thas was cozy, functional, and spacious. The apartments are about a 5-mins walking distance from the main hotel, and even though it was Autumn (a season that we Latinos tend to find quite cold), that short morning walk to the hotel for breakfast and to meet up with the rest of the delegations was actually very pleasant. The hotel itself is beautiful — the breakfast room has a spectacular postcard-like view, and the buffet breakfast is incredibly complete, even offering plenty of vegan options. I also got to see some of the hotel rooms, and they were lovely. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

The location of the spa hotel is beautiful, the sea is an important element in the atmosphere. The staff was courteous and helpful and breakfast was good and plentiful. The pool area is nice and the main pool of very good size. The basic room was reasonable and beds were comfortable. However, the bathroom was not very well planned. There were some maintenance issues like lights not working properly and towel hooks just about to fall apart but the lousiest detail was the shower. Like in many other hotels where the shower is separated only with a small shower screen the floor of the whole bathroom is wet after having a shower. And there was no shelf or other space for your shampoo/soap so it was very uncomfortable to try to reach them from the floor in the narrow space or even more so from the table quite a distance away.

Was a little worried by some of reviews but we had good experience. Friendly reception staff. Regularly served by 6/6A bus which stops right outside. We didn't eat in hotel as there were options in Naantali. Very handy for Moominworld. Good breakfast options. Pool and sauna free to use. Large indoor pool. Nice small outdoor pool. Hot tub. Small Turkish sauna. Nice and clean. Child friendly. Quiet comfortable room. We had a great stay.

We stayed in one of the Moomin rooms, with a balcony overlooking the harbour. We loved the spa area, it was quiet especially in the morning, and we were given access on arrival, hours before check in, so we got a full 24 hours use, and went three times. I really valued the single sex changing and sauna, and the vibe of that, as well as the family friendly swimming areas. There are children's floats and toys. The pools are off different temperatures and the outdoor heated pool overlooking the bay was nice. The Moomin theme items were getting old, and we had normal not Moomin glasses. We had two children's robes in our room, which was appreciated. They need to use another area as well for breakfast, and cater for peak time. We couldn't get a table at breakfast, and it felt very crowded and stressful. All in all, it was worth the money, and added to our Moomin experience.

Hair dryer was provided. A very big shopping mall Stockman is 1min from Hotel. Bus stop and 4 mins and market square is 6-7mins by walk.

The hotel is downtown and a short walk from the train station and both a short walk to the main downtown square and the river. The room was larger than many, the staff friendly and helpful, the Wi-Fi good, and the breakfast was good with many selections. Had a good stay there for 3 nights and would stay there again.

This hotel is located next to the port terminals. It was very pleasant to get directly to the hotel room at 20:00 when Viking Grace arrived in Turku. We booked the best room category Deluxe room at a prepaid rate of 179 euros. The only Deluxe room is a very spacious room. Like a suite with separate living and bedrooms. The room decor is outdated. If there will be a renovation in the future, I would change the living room to the bedroom because of the beautiful window located there. The jacuzzi did not work this time either. However, it is not mentioned in the room description. As a normal bathtub, it worked well. The breakfast buffet was well maintained and it was pleasantly calm at 10:00 as all the ships had already departed.

Great location. Right on harbor front, over the road from train station and Vikings Line ferry terminal. Adjacent to Siljia ferry terminal. We were in Rm135, which provided everything you need for short stay. Quiet, Very clean with good room temperature ,very comfortable bed & bedding Tea/ coffee making in room. One issue, whilst the bathroom is modern and looks good, the design has a couple of practical issues. The hand basin is too shallow & water splashes out of basin when tap is turned on. The shower leaks water onto tiles under the cubicle surround at front of shower. Reasonable rate which included an excellent full breakfast. The hotel is located in an interesting building and has a great bar & restaurant area. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, except perhaps the gruff security guy who could work on his interpersonal charm. He asked us if we were hotel guests while we were sitting having a beer in the lounge area after 9pm. We found out later the front doors close to public after 9 pm. All up a great stay and can highly recommend.

The room was clean and tidy and equipped with a small fridge, TV, desk and chairs. The beds were super comfortable. Bathroom was basic but clean - toilet, sink and shower booth, plus face and body towels for two. The common space was in two stories with chairs and tables. There was a coffee machine you could buy specialty coffees for only 1€/cup. The kitchen had a kettle, glasses, cups, plates and cutlery, tea bags and instant coffee. Nice possibility to cook your own meals if you have a longer stay. We only stayed for 1 night as we had a ferry to catch from the Viking Line terminal which is the building next to the hotel. I would highly recommend this place if you're visiting Turku!

We recently spent two nights at Hotel Seaport prior to taking the Viking ship to Stockholm. We couldn't have been any closer to the ferry terminal. The hotel is older but clean, and the staff are friendly and attentive. The buffet breakfast is very good. The location is a bit far from central Turku; however, there is a bus that stops right by the hotel to take you there. You can also walk to Turku Castle from the hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are departing on the ferry.

Something different this time. We stayed here for a night, when visiting Turku. First it was a little challenging to find the hotel visually as it is a low building beside a cruise terminal. Also driving to the parking lot was confusing due to many ristrictions by the traffic signs. Keep your head cool and drive closer to the main entrance. If the hotel is full, there will be lack of parking places so be aware. This was infomed very well also at the reception. Entrance is nice and the service was good when booking in. Our rooms were clean at the ground floor. The interior was like straight from the 80´s, but everything in good condition. Nice beds, peacefull to sleep, no problems at all. In the morning it was interesting to see the cruise ship arriving and the travellers bodging around. The breakfast was good with multiple choices. They were also maintained well as nothing run out or something was lefted dirty. Suprisingly here they had staff enough who kept the area running smoothly. Ten points! We didn´t have a change to dine here, but I had a cold beer in the evening. This I zipped at the long and narrow terrace outside. The view altough is absurd as you are facing the terminal building and once a while a bus is passing slowly. Thats really all. So peacefull. Before checking out we had a walk to the Turku castle and harbour area, which were very close. We will come back!

Absolutely lovely atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was very delicious! The location was excellent, I enjoyed the walk along the riverbank. Very beautiful to visit in the early summer. Great bus connections to the town centre two minutes walk away. They even have an info board at the boat where you can see when the next bus is going. I had a one-person cabin which was brilliant for a solo traveler. Lovely view to the river from the cabin. I had my own shower with plenty of hot water. The morning sauna was a delightful bonus!

The SS Bore is a decommissioned cruise ship which can be accessed via a ramp upon arrival. I had a two-person room with a porthole window and a private shower and toilet. The beds are simple with a duvet, a single pillow, and a firm mattress topper. The bathrooms are neat and trim. It was nice to have a private showing area and toilet for a hostel. Breakfast at the weekend was a choice of fresh breads with cheese, meat, vegetables, and egg butter. There is a selection of tea and coffee section and cold water and juice are available. There is also porridge and yoghurt, as well as tinned and fresh fruit. During weekdays, this is more or less the same but with less variety. The staff were friendly.

It is an interesting experience to spend night onboard "classic" steamer 🙂 Cabin was quite small, but everything was clean and well maintained. I really liked the spirit of the place, especially spending evening on the top deck at café with view to the harbor 😉 Everyone was friendly and helpful all the time.

One of the most unique experiences I have had in a hotel. Hotel is literally a museum ship. I was skeptical given certain reviews I read but it was an amazing choice. Not far from city center. Not far from restaurants an and cafes. You can walk Along the river and take in the landscape of Turku. There is even an opportunity to visit the ship’s museum portion. This is a “must do” once more. Hotel also has a cafe in the back and breakfast is included in your stay.

Location by the port and a nice 20/30mins along the river to the centre. Authentic room and a good enough toilet and shower. Fantastic breakfast

A perfect location for a family visit to Moomnworld. Apartment was very comfortable and spacious with everything you need for a short stay. Beautiful surroundings and nice play area nearby too. Could use laundry room to wash and dry clothes at the Hotel (EUR 5) which was very useful when travelling with young kids. Just ask for the key at the Spa Reception. We also ate some meals at the hotel and sat in the lobby when we had to check out of the apartment and before our night train to Lapland. There are 2 large supermarkets about 10 mins walk away which was convenient for breakfast things. We got the car train from outside the Hotel to Moominworld and then walked back (about 20 mins with tired young kids - 10 mins usually!). Moominworld was amazing!

We spent a couple of nights there and booked 2 rooms for a family of four with a small dog. The room was comfortable but would have needed some hoovering under the beds. The spa is nice and clean and there are many things to do. The smoke sauna was appreciated. We also enjoyed walking along the Aura river nearby to the city centre.

Room was comfortable, good breakfast. Managed to use spa at quiet times 4-5pm and 9am in the morning. Check-out staff lady was wonderful.

I’ve attended the spa for about 60 times because I live within 30 km and tend to buy the 10-time passes. It is truly enjoyable and I thought our family gould even book a vacation there, to be able to enjoy the whole experience full time as a family. After reading these reviews, that now seems impossible. We never knew about these flaws. What has changed? This used to be a top attraction and I still see no difference, attending the spa only. It has a GREAT outdoor pool, which is open throughout the year — and remember this is Finland. It’s bound to be expensive to keep that going with about 27-29 C swimming temperature when it’s minus ten outside. This outside pool is my greatest reason to visit and I tend to stay there for the most of the time. When snowing or shining, it’s even better, though there is no view to nature after building so many new buildings around it. But if you are here anyway, check the spa and reserve enough time for visiting that and the superpark (which not really for adults, no matter what they say). It does not matter which month you are visiting, the experience is the same year around. What it comes to the accommodation, I have no clue if that is bad or good. But the soviet union talk in some earlier reviews is full propaganda. These things have not existed at the same time. I was a student when the spa was built. Our aggressive neighbours can no longer pass the border, so for some reviews you just need to read between the lines.

The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the railway station . This is a 3 star hotel with comfortable bed and Good shower room. All floors have lift access. The room was equipped with a microwave and fridge . The TV had local channels and the Wifi was good.

Very spacious room. Location was great, in the middle of the city center with all facilities just 1 block away. Great restaurants in the area. Perfect for a family with a child or even two.

Checking in and out was extremely easy. You receive a code that opens the doors, neither key nor card needed. The room was very nice and clean, spacious, and the bed was comfy. The kitchenette was well equipped and offered everything needed to cook a meal, but the hotel is located in such a way that you also have plenty of options to eat out. My room had a small table and two chairs. The bathroom was big and spotless, great shower! I rarely heard someone, very calm. You can do your own laundry in a separate room down the hallway, and they even provide free detergent and multiple drying racks. If you want to clean your room during your stay, you can use their cleaning supplies as well. I came with the ship, and it took me around 10 minutes by bus to get to the hotel. It's an 8-10min walk to the station, and within only a minute in the opposite direction, you're at the canal where you can sit and relax. Most attractions are close-by, and a shopping centre and a few supermarkets are within a 5min-walk.

Very clean and spacious apartment in excellent location. Good shower, comfortable beds and good wifi and TV. Well equipped kitchen (microwave oven, stovetop, kettle, coffee maker, kitchen roll, tea towel etc.). Easy contactless check-in, received the door code by SMS and email. Good value for money and would stay again.

The hotel is super convenient to the vibrant cafe & restaurant scene along the Aura River. I'm a walker and even with a heavy backpack it was an OK experience walking into town from the ferry terminal. My room had a kitchenette that I underutilized because I was only there a couple of nights and ate out. There is a school converted to a brewery just across the street in one direction and a food market in the other. There is a wine shop in the same block. What else could be required? The hotel is located a block from the central square, where (at least in summer) there was a variety of outdoor coffee shops to get things going. That square is also the hub for the very good bus system.

Location was brilliant - close to supermarket and other shops. Central for restaurants, bars, etc. River a short walk away. Nice, bright room. Very well equipped. Clean bathroom. Sufficient room, but nowhere sensible for suitcase.

Location was perfect right in the city center, but room was still quiet enough. Breakfast was served at a cafe located in a mall next to hotel. It was OK, but pretty basic: sandwich, juice and coffee. Room was in good condition and well equipped.

I rated 9 considering the price-quality balance. The room was clean and silent. The kitchen was also clean. The kitchen has all the basic needs including refrigerator, microwave oven, oven and stove, plates and cutlery. The room has also all the basic needs: bed, table, chair, armchair and wardrobe. The shower and toilet are not in the room but there are few separate shower-toilet rooms. So the privacy is not a concern. The staff are kind and helpful: greetings with smiling faces and informative answers to the questions. It is also very nice that this kind of place serves breakfast included in the price. The served breakfast is very helpful for starting the day efficiently. They serve a quite good breakfast.

Booked a room for a one night stayover from Friday to Saturday. The double room was quite spacious and beds decently comfortable. The room have quite poor sound insulation but the household rules regarding quiet night times were followed by all guests, so no issues with that. I checked in late and was provided with all the information regarding checkin via messages. Outside door is operated by a electronic code lock and inside you will find a locker boxes with keys. They serve breakfast in a dining area. Breakfastis simple yet good and filling enough: boiled eggs, porridge, cereal, toasts, salad, some sweets. Rooms were cleaned decently and one clean big towel was provided. The were several toilets on each floor and each had a toilet and a shower corner. No queues nor issues with using them. The location is at the edge of downtown area. If you travel by car, then street public parking is the only option. Right outside the hostel, there are many park lines along the street and the parking area is designated as Second District, meaning currently 1,8euro per hour during workdays and saturdays until evening time (night is free).

I was able to cycle around the island so easily from here. my room was wonderful and very comfortable - and I was warned that the restaurant would be closed so I brought food I could heat up there. the sauna and pool were lovely and I was the only one in them. the staff were very helpful.

We stayed for two days at this amazing campside. It is really something special. It is located in the mid of the archipelago near to Turku. You can easily reach it with public transportation. The area itself is really beautiful. You live directly in a little forrests on rocks, from which you have an amazing view on the sea. The local beach, where you can swim is directly located next to the Camp side. We stayed in a little Hut in the mid of the forrest, which was extremly beautiful located. It was a bit farer from the toilet and the shower, (just as an information) but we loved it, because it really felt as if we were staying directly in the nature. The Staff is also very friendly. Early check in was no Problem at all and there were always kind and answered all our questions. Moreover one could by icecream coffee and more at the reception. The common Kitchen was very well equipped, which is not always the case on Camp sites. The Toilets and bathrooms were very clean. On of our best Camp site experiences ever. We 100% recommend this place.

I chose it carefully for the location and ease of moving around, and I was pleased to find all was perfect. Parking was easy, driving back and forth to Turku and many other locations is a breeze, there is a big supermarket and fuel pump within a few blocks, yet you are in the middle of the forest, so there's a lot of wildlife to see, you get to feel the sand of the beach at your feet and within a couple of minutes you are back into the forest. The facilities are well-maintained and cleaned, everything works ok, no problem having a shower or doing your business at the toilets, and they keep an eye on sustainability, so sorting out the waste is easy as well. The staff is very friendly and professional, very informative, and happy to help. I was lucky enough to have Tomi help me find my way around on the first day, and then the rest of the week, a shout-out to him and the rest of the team. The business is managed by a great man whom I enjoyed befriending during my short stay. I'll make sure to go back and say hello again to Juhan and all of the Solliden fam real soon!

We try enjoyed our stay at Solliden camp. The place is simply amazing, amidst the rocks, mossy forest and the beach. We had a great time walking around, picking berries, exploring, playing at the playground and sitting in the sauna. Our cabin had everything we needed. The town is just a kilometer away and has supermarkets and restaurants. The staff and the owner were very friendly and helpful. I only wish we had spent more time there.

We've been at Solliden in the middle of July. Was not the hottest July ever, but we waited for weather to be pleasant enough. The cottages are quite small, but they all have everything that needed for a family of 3-4 people: running water, 2-burners stove, small fridge with freezer, tableware. Toilets are near the beach, but to get to the shower room one need to go uphill, via the camping site. That might be a problem with a small child sometimes. Although, the beach toilets are quite close. The camping kitchen is amazing, grill site also quite good. There are even a sandbox and swings near them, so kid won't be bored. Beach is small but really neat. In the end, we would recommend both camping and cottages.

The location is amazing, you're just by the sea, can swim in the sea directly from the camping site. The place is quiet, clean, and surrounded by beautiful pine trees. We stayed in one of their camping houses (kind of bungalow), it was cozy and comfortable.

The apartment is lovely! It's nicely furnished and equipped with everything you might need. It has sauna in the bathroom and also a balcony with cute light that can be used for cooling down. Whole place has modern desigh, beds are very comfortable, there are really great vinyls and gramophon that can make your stay even more relaxing! I can truly recommend the place!

Very comfortable and spotless apartment. The beds were large and very comfortable. The location is perfect if you need to catch the ferry, which is exactly why we chose it. Having the parking option was also fantastic!

I've stayed in this hotel several times during work-related trips and keep returning to it. It has all the services I need: a cozy, clean, quiet, and well-equipped room. As a bonus, the bed is exceptionally comfortable, and I've always had a good sleep there. In my view, Omena Hotel managed to get the balance right - investing in the important things (cleanliness, comfortable beds, sound isolation) and ditching the unnecessary fluff (lobby, reception, etc.). The location is also perfect - just around the corner from the main square on the one side and a scenic walk by the Aura river on the other. It's really an excellent value for money.

Very cheap yet clean and comfortable hotel in a central location. We were surprised by the quality of our room considering the price. The area of the hotel is lively but safe. There are restaurants and shops nearby and it is easy to walk to many attractions. I was not familiar with this affordable chain of hotels but our short stay was a positive experience. The decor in the room is simple and minimal but very clean. Beds were nice! There was a small fridge in the room.

It was very central and the entry was provided by a code, therefore you didn’t rely on much but the information that was provide to you in advance - which was fast and on time. The property was clean, the bathrooms were in perfect condition (very clean and new) and overall a cosy place to stay! One of my favourite hotels up to date for that price.

The view!!! We saw Turku’s Cathedral from our window! 😍 The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable!

This was such a lovely stay! The hosts are very friendly and attentive. The property is beautiful. There is a public sauna within walking distance and trails and beaches too. Judith made phenomenal breakfast meals for me and the trip overall was relaxing and grounding. Just what I needed. I would love to come back! My stay here in nature felt magical.

This is certainly one of the best places to stay in southern Finland! For those looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful place that is very close to Turku. The beautiful lake is perfect for swimming. The hosts, as well as the two cats, are exceptionally nice! The delicious breakfast is very lovingly prepared!

Heated floor in the kitchen and heating throughout the apartment. Easy access to the apartment (without the presence of the host). Smooth communication with the host via WhatsApp. Great location (especially in the context of our trips to the centre of Turku, the harbour area and Naantali - regular buses throughout the whole week).

The place was really nice and comfortable, and in excellent condition. Eliisa was super helpful when we had some questions.

The accommodation exceeded expectations. Everything was clean, the environment was friendly, and the store was nearby. I highly recommend it.

The location was fantastic, the flat was cosy and had all the necessary bits, the host was helpful. We could park our van right next to the house.

Everything was well set up, short walking distance to the Aura river and marketplace. I especially liked Moomin style bedlinen and Finnish tableware. Would defenately visit again.

The room was clean and in order. The location is good. Easy to get to and back from the heart of Turku. Kuupitaa train station is about a 15-20 min walk.

Very convenient location next to the bus station. The building is very modern has a big elevator and lots of light. The host was very kind on arrival and helped out with everything we needed.

The apartment was light and airy with a comfortable bed. It had everything we needed for our stay. The location was very good, only a short walk from the bus station and airport bus. Our host was there to help us when we arrived as google sent us down the wrong street. there was a supermarket near by and 10 minute walk to all that Turku has to offer and the bus to the castle, something not to be missed.

modern flat in a brand new building sited near the port of Turku. Very good kitchen fully furnished, cosy living area and comfortable beds. parking provided nearby The flat has a washing machine and dishwasher, airer, iron board and vacuum cleaner. Ideal for short and long stays.

The studio was spacious, bright and spotless. With everything you need in this self-contained accommodation: from comfy bedding to fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with a washing machine. We did our laundry of course! There were even 2 fake plants for decoration. Cool addition!

The apartment was clean and fully equiped. The location is great, walkable, nice area, good transit access, 2 grocery stores nearby, good wifi. I highly recommend this accommodation.

This is a very nice place for short or mid-term visits for one or two persons, well equipped, new and clean. Wi-Fi strong enough even for online calls/watching online videos. You can work at the dining table. It's a bit out of town (20min bus), but more or less quiet, I’ve almost did not hear outside noise (and the house is, as of Jul-2023, in the middle of the construction site). If you want extreme quietness, please realize that in single room apartments, there is a fridge and a bed in the same room, and despite the fridge is reasonably quiet, it still makes some noise. The bed is medium hard rather than soft (at least in my room).

Very comfortable stay. Great location, everything was clean and well-equipped. The host was kind and attentive. I would happily stay here again. Thank you!

The apartment is really modern and Cosy. We were allowed to leave our luggage there before check-in time and when we came back the apartment was cleaned and we were given towels in matching colours to our backpacks 😊 We had a great stay. They even provide tea, coffee, showergel and shampoo.

Comfortable, quiet and modern apartment. Nice bedding and decor. Close to bus stop and walking paths. Well organised for access. Nice kitchen and laundry with good appliances.

I liked the place, cozy, very comfortable, everything were good. The place was cleaned, with toiletries, with coffee, complete. I like the toilet its cleaned.
