The Pousada Del Fin Del Mundo is a gorgeous house. The staff makes you feel at home. Our room was spacious and the king size bed was SUPER comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful and if you have an early activity, you can ask for an earlier breakfast. They also help you with laundry and with transportation. On our check out day, they let us stay in the living room for a long time until we had to go to the airport. This was very nice not only because of the free WiFi but also because it was super windy outside. We were very thankful for that. If you like a more Bed&Breakfast kind of lodging, we definitely recommend this pousada. We loved it!

Serene, quiet and charming B&B within a 10 minute walk from the center of town. An ideal setting for those planning an active Ushuaia trip to keep you fully energized in comfortable rooms with the necessities, cozy and chill common area for a full breakfast, all day snacks, socializing, and an outdoor terrace for extra fresh air and a few puffs. The hosts are super friendly and accommodating who went above and beyond their normal duties. We felt like friends rather than guests. Thank you all.

Beautiful house. Big and comfortable room. Very nice breakfast. Coffee, tea and sweets served during the whole day. Warm and welcoming staff. Gisela was super helpful during our stay. They were flexible when we needed - for example, they provided earlier breakfast upon request. Good location, in a calm block (requires a bit of energy to go up, though). Perfect cleanliness. Good value. Recommended.

Apartment was wonderful. two beds, kitchen, large bathroom with shower and jacuzzi tub. property was very clean! And in a prime location on the same street as many cafes, restaurants, and shops. Mike was great with communication!! he let us store our bags on-site since we arrived early and let us store when we had a later departure. He is so great! highly recommend this location and Mike as the host.

Excellent location to the main centre where all the restaurant and shops are located. The staff was very helpful to accommodate our request and always checking in if there is anything they can do. The room is very comfy with all the necessities to have a relaxing and romantic stay. Will certainly recommend this property and will visit again.

Love the location of the hotel with its beautiful view. The huge windows in our room overlook the Beagle Channel and the Andes. I enjoy sitting in the Jacuzzi, admiring the views. The spa and pool are excellent, and the staff at the Front Desk and concierge were extremely helpful.

I spent six days in a room with a magnificent view of mountains and Beagle Canal. Very clean, quiet and far away from the city. The hotel staff was great. No complaints at all. Food was great also the breakfast. All the excursión the hotel offers are a must do. The spa is something to enjoy everyday. The jacuzzi on the deck looking the white mountains. It’s a dream.... I would go back again to this hotel !!

This is an amazing property that is located about 15 minutes from the airport and downtown. It is in a gated community directly on the waterfront and it was fabulous. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the restaurant and the food was amazing. The pool and hot tubs overlook the water and they were included. Staff was so attentive and friendly. The gift store in the hotel had all Argentinian items. The hotel has a shuttle that will take you to the cruise port, airport or to the downtown area. There is a small beach that you can walk on right in front of the hotel and lots of walking areas. We would definitely stay here again and our stay was too short.

We spent 3 nights at the lovely hotel, including one wonderful dinner. The views of The Beagle Channel are amazing, from the lobby to the spa to our room, which was water-facing. The staff was very helpful. The food was excellent - both breakfast buffet, and dinner. The spa was nice. The indoor/outdoor pool, and the indoor and outdoor hot tubs were really nice. The view of the channel from the pools is fantastic. The hotel provides a shuttle into town - which would be nice if it ran a little more often (than once an hour).

We recently stayed both at Los Cauquenes as well as Arakur - apparently the two best hotels in Ushuaia. While the hotel is fine, unfortunately in direct comparison Los Cauquenes loses out to Arakur: The mini bar in the room at Arakur is free - had to pay for drinks from the mini bar at Los Cauquenes. The staff happily arranged for free transport to either the airport or our cruise departure at Arakur - at Los Cauquenes they gave us confusing messages that either airport transfer but also pickup downtown would cost extra. It's those small things that in the end make a difference. Los Cauquenes overall also seems a bit more dated with a more log cabin feel whereas Arakur is very modern with a huge lobby and inviting bar on the main floor. Another odd thing at Los Cauquenes: The head board of our bed was made with what seemed to be a grid of stretched animal hides/leather. Even as a non-vegetarian I found this odd and unappealing. I don't want my head to be touching old animal skin in the middle of the night. Lastly: the pizza we had for lunch at the restaurant at Los Cauquenes was without exaggeration the worst pizza both my partner and I had in our entire life: pre-made from frozen dough, drowned in cheese so I couldn't even make out any other toppings and undercooked. Don't get me wrong: The hotel overall is nice and has amazing views. Just in direct comparison I'd go to Arakur again next time. It was an overall more pleasant experience.

Amazing host - so very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Super easy check in/out process. And the apartment itself is lovely - comfortable, beautiful central location, amazing views, clean, charming, and a place we would absolutely stay again if we had the chance. One of our favorite stays in our month long tour of Patagonia region.

Views! Views and views!!!This property is amazing! Every room was overlooking the Beagle Channel. We would just sit hours by the window watching the ships come and go. The sunset and sunrise shining through the windows was a treat to our eyes. If you are visiting Ushuiaia, book this apartment for the best views. The cleanliness and facilities are equally amazing!. The location is excellent . You just have to cross the street to get to all the tour office. Great restarant all around! Grear supermarket 300 m away. Another big plus are the amazing communication with Paola from the time we booked the apartment. Gaston, who waited with the keys to the apartment gave us a warm welcome. He was so kind and helpful.. He even organised 15 percent discount for our tours. We definitely had the best stay in ARGENTINA!

Location was superb + clean + quiet + comfortable bed + Hot shower + spacious + right in the centre of Ushuaia with port views. Pablo provided exceptional service re places for breakfast + BBQ Parrilla + laundry service + barber + supermarket + when depaarting took us to the taxi stand just up the street a little + easy to liaise with via Whatsapp when our Magellan Strait's ferry crossing was delayed by 12 hrs due to high seas, making us 12 hours late arriving in Ushuaia at 06:15 the next morning. Pablo/ Paola also obliged with a late check out. We had a great stay & would highly recommend the apartment & communication was very easy.

Property was exactly as advertised: nothing fancy, but also nothing lacking. Perfect location for those that want to explore central Ushuaia without requiring a car: it was very central, close to the port, the main comercial/tourist street, easy to get into/out of, most of the famous/recommended restaurants are within a block or two, transfers for all tourist attractions either pick up here or nearby. Host (Sebastian) was lovely, and very helpful! All in all, strongly recommended.

We have been travelling around Argentina for some time and currently in the executive room in the Hilton Buenos Aries but the best room to date was at Alto Andino. Could not fault anything, great WiFi Netflix walk in shower jacuzzi bath and great staff.....just devine

The view, the view, the view. What a view. Our room had a wonderful view on the 3rd floor looking out at the dock, but just above us, the breakfast area is also open to the public. There is tea and coffee served there and a panoramic window. So even if your room doesn't have a view, you can hangout in the top floor. They also have a private parking around the block, but we just parked our rental on the streets in front. It's far enough from city center that we never had trouble parking very close to the entrance. It is higher up the hill, so if you walk, you will have to climb a bit. But it's not bad at all, especially considering the view you get in return. Staff are helpful and efficient. Give them your WhatsApp and you can get service through txt. There is no room key, you just use a code. Very convenient not having to carry a key or card around. Breakfast is good, but a little repetitive.

Staying here for two nights during our visit to Ushuaia. The hotel located in a very central location and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The receptionist spoke good English and did her best to make our stay comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Clean bathroom with good water pressure. The patio on the top floor of the building where breakfast was served has an amazing view of the mountains and the harbour. There were compliment tea and coffee provided in the afternoon where breakfast was served. The continental breakfast selection was simple but nice.

Excellent location, hospitable staff with comfortable and cozy rooms. Views from the breakfast area are incredible. I would have given it a perfect 5 stars if the coffee was better, and not out of a machine, or waterdown when made. Also, the room at the sub-level are too warm, not and no windows to open, only a sliding door like window is not suitable for a single woman traveling. Otherwise, the rooms are excellent, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is buffet style. Front desk team- Brisa and Damien are wonderful!

We stayed here for a night before embarking on our boat to Cape Horn. What a little gem of a place to stay! Breakfast was good with a lot to choose from. Our room was on the 3rd floor with a stunning view of the harbor. It was clean and comfy, but we had to open the window to cool us down and get some airflow. It's a short walk to the main drag in town where there are lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. Angie at the front desk was a complete delight! Thank you for everything, Angie! She gave us restaurant recommendations, arranged for a taxi to bring us to (and from) a trail head so we could hike Esmerelda Laguna the morning before our cruise. They also held our luggage that day which was very convenient. Upon returning from our hike, we were able to chill upstairs in the common area with some coffee and wifi before heading to the port. Highly recommend.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights. It's about a 20-minute drive from the airport. The hotel reception staff checked us in efficiently. He was pleasant and very helpful. Our room was spacious and clean, and everything worked well. There is a safe and small functional kitchen as well as a living area separate from the bedroom. The room also has a nice balcony with awesome views of the mountains. The Wi-Fi connection was strong throughout the property. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Breakfast is included. It is self-service with fresh scrambled eggs, ham and cheese, bread/pastries, fruits, cereals, and beverages. It's sufficient for a good start in the morning. The property is located within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the marina. The hotel does not have a restaurant. This is a good place to stay in Ushuaia. It's conveniently located, rooms are nice and staff are pleasant and helpful.

Very good hotel with a convenient town center location. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable with good recommendations. Two bedroom apartment for 2 couples was comfortable and roomy, balcony with nice views. Breakfast buffet was more than acceptable. Maybe priced little bit on the high side.

Wonderful - the hotel is beautifully furnished, everything looks brand new, the apartment was impeccably clean, spacious and had everything one may need. The breakfast is delicious, with many options (omlette, breads, ham, cheese, yoghurts, fruits…). The pool also looked nice (we didnt have the time to try.) The location is also a winner - a few blocks from restaurants and shops, easily walkable in 5 minutes - which turned out to be important, as it is impossible to park in downtown Ushuaia, the streets are small, steep and street parking is completely full at all times. The hotel also has a little garage to park in. We loved our stay and highly highly recommend the place!

Comfortable bed, plenty of space, close to the tourist pier for excursions. The only thing lacking was the breakfast- but that may be a cultural difference of US. Our suite had a balcony and great view of the Beagle Channel. Front desk spoke English very well and were friendly and helpful.

This was an overall really beautiful stay and we were sad to leave this hotel as we were joining an Antarctica cruise the next day and changing hotels. It was very comfortable and beautifully designed. The shower had decent pressure and good hot water. The staff were friendly but not overtly so like some hotels and resorts - very professional, helpful, and informative, everything you'd want in a staff. When we arrived it was veyr busy but the staff was very calm and professional in checking everyone in. We had a beautiful view, the room was very clean, the bed was VERY comfortable. There is only heat in hotels in Ushuaia so our room was warm but turning off the heat and opening the window worked beautifully. We were impressed with our stay and like I said, sad to leave to go to our cruise hotel. I would absolutely recommend for travelers looking for a clean, comfortable, chic and very centrally located hotel in Ushuaia. I would suggest staying more than just a night!

We had a great stay at Original House in Ushuaia. The property is very spacious and tastefully designed, with a lot of attention to detail. The beds were comfortable, and we especially appreciated the welcome gift – a bottle of wine and some snacks – which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was good and served directly in the room, which added to the convenience. The views from the terrace were stunning, offering a beautiful panorama of the mountains and the city below. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it’s a stylish and welcoming place with great potential and lovely touches. With a few improvements, it could be truly exceptional.

Very nice and clean rooms with kitchenette and great view. Central location and the receptionists are very helpful. Only remark though is that breakfast is served in a basket in front of your door (very basic) at your time desired between 7 and 10am. When we saw the eggs we immediately assumed hard boiled so upon cracking one, it spilled all over the place making a mess. We were confused to why raw egg for breakfast since most likely tourists will barely have time to eat and run to catch a tour or flight. It seems inconvenient to fry or boil it to complement the breakfast. But no big deal we can use it later.

Brand new hotel in excellent location. Excellent, kind, friendly service by staff. Beautiful, modern building and rooms. Ours had a kitchenette where we could cook breakfast with the items delivered fresh to our room at the morning time of our choosing. The hotel is located right across prision museum and a block away from the main business/tourism street in Ushuaya. A short walk to the port. Great views of the mountains. Nice terrace sitting area with heaters and blankets. The only matter to consider is that because of its location, traffic noise (especially from the food delivery motorcycles) may be bothersome to some. Definitely recommended!

It is a modern, beautifully designed and furnished hotel. It also incorporates a tiny historical cottage at the entrance, interesting and important feature of Ushuaia history. Nicely done. Great bathroom, top quality, spotless white bed sheets and towels. The lights play a very important role in the room and give a special, inviting ambiance. We had a studio room on the fourth floor with big balcony - fabulous. Complementary bottle of wine and water is a very nice touch. Don’t miss the terrace on the seventh floor, for the amazing views and complimentary afternoon treat. Interesting concept for breakfast and it works very well.

We got an upgrade to the Penthouse Suite and that was outstanding! It was a very spacious and beautiful room, jacuzzi in the bathroom and always nice and warm. The staff was very polite and helpful and the Manager of the breakfast was just too sweet. Would highly recommend this hotel! Bravo!

To start with, hotel has an exceptional location - in a quiet area but within 5mins walk to the main street of Ushuaia that has all shops and restaurants. Secondly, the room itself and especially view from the window - it was an absolute pleasure to watch sunrise and sunset there - definitely add one star for that. The hotel itself is very cosy and has nice reception area and restaurant that serves quite good breakfast - eggs, ham, cheese, medialunas, tea/coffee. The room was super cosy, had small fridge and kettle. Bathroom had bathtub and all other amenities. Pity I had to leave - would definitely stay longer. P.S.: just an advice for hotel to add "do not disturb" and "clean my room" signs. I don't usually like my room to be cleaned if I am staying for short period of time and put "do not disturb" sign but they didn't have it so when I came back to the room in the middle of the day, the lady was cleaning it so I had to explain in my poor Spanish that there is no need to do that :)

Loved this place! It was super cozy in the cold city of Ushuaia. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable, the room had a mini fridge, and a decent view of the Beagle Channel in the distance. The staff was nice and the breakfast was delicious. Loved it!

The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful. We arrive at the hotel early, thankfully the hotel has a place to store our luggage's while waiting to check in, we left our luggage's at the hotel, came back to check in. The staff is very helpful and smooth transition. Very satisfied. Breakfast is very good and plenty and has a very nice view of the Beagle Channel. Staff are courteous. Location of the hotel is excellent walking distance from the restaurants and place to book excursions. The hotel is clean and bed is comfy. This place is highly recommended.

It was uphill about 3 blocks from San Martin st., the main street. The front desk man allowed me to store luggage until my room was ready. The property is about in the middle of town and uphill. You could get to about 20 restaurants within 10 minutes. The lobby was nice. I enjoyed the breakfast, although I found it limiting. There were no eggs. There was cereal, juice, coffee, tea, muffins, a small selection of cold cuts, croissants. There were 2 or 3 large jars of fruit, but the people who tried to take some fruit couldn't figure out how to open the container. Staff was friendly and there's a nice view from the breakfast room.

Location is right in centre, the room and bed are comfortable, breakfast is delicious and with beautiful view. The staff at night in front desk is really nice and very helpful, recommended a good taxi driver to us to Parque Nacional Tierra Del Fuego.

i really enjoyed the mil810. got a great last minute deal which helped given general level of prices in ushuaia. the hotel is central, very clean, nice views and great staff. showing a little wear in places but that is to be expected given salt air... parking can be challenge but drive around nearby blocks and will surely find one. wifi was not fastest but good enough. breakfast was basic but had all i needed.

The location is just a few blocks from the main street that runs through Ushuaia. It's very near restaurants and stores. Staff was friendly, room was clean, beds were comfortable (with good pillows--a rarity in Latin America!), and breakfast has plenty of options.

Hostel had an amazing view from all rooms. Breakfast was adequate but bathroom needed tidy up. WI FI was good speed

Il est bien situé, à 10 minutes à pieds de l'avenue principale et d'un supermarché. Et surtout, je le répète, toute l'équipe est formidable! Séjour très agréable.

Comfortable well equipped room with safe. Staff very friendly and helpful. The shared seating areas are bright, pleasant and comfortable. The wifi is very good. We had a view over the harbour. Situated at the end of the main street near several restaurants, one of which the Mercado we recommend. Breakfast nothing special but not poor either.

The hotel and the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and varied and delicious. The hotel is also very conveniently located close to the port.

A 2-night stay to allow for hitches in travelling across the Pacific from Australia and to recover from getting there, I found Los Naranjos just what I needed. Literally 10 minutes by cab from inside front door of airport to reception desk - had no luck in getting hotel shuttle sorted before travelling! I had booked for twin share but travelled alone and was fortunate to be on 5th floor in large 3-bed room. Very comfortable bed, clean bathroom (bit on the nose with no S-bend to hand basin), warm room overlooking the bay. Noise from the main road below could be a factor for light sleepers - I just rolled over! Only thing missing was a kettle for a hot bedtime drink. 2nd night, night receptionist got us tea from the kitchen. Breakfast room great - 'full' breakfast actually Spanish style continental and more than adequate. LOVE the urn full of hot milk for coffee! Staff language issues not too severe with a phrase book, handled with a smile. At 'far' end of main shopping and tourist strip (San Martin), the walk to find eating houses etc all helps to avoid post-flight issues. Supermarket 50 m from front door, interesting memorial park down the hill on the main road median strip, a good spot to get a sense of the town layout, the ebb and flow of local activities as well as the spectacular view out to the Beagle Channel (and my Antarctic explorer ship as it berthed). Would highly recommend to anyone travelling through Ushuaia to the Antarctic.

A pretty good location downtown Ushuaia, close to coffee places, bakeries, restaurants and the pear. Good size room and bathroom, comfortable bedding but basic amenities. No kettle or cups, no fridge. A safe and heater. Their breakfast buffet offers a good selection for a nice start of the day. The team at the reception is nice and efficient, they will help you any way they can. The transfer from the airport to the hotel is a courtesy, you need to ask for it. For the return to the airport, a taxi will cost you about 260 to 300 Argentina Pesos. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the airport. If you are a light sleeper the light isolation of the windows will let you hear the noise from the traffic as the hotel is on the main road.

On the edge of town, which is only tiny, so everything is walkable but a little quieter. Staff are super friendly and helpful and room had pretty everything one could want (except a fridge). Supermarket is 50m away, which was super convenient. Breakfast was basic but enjoyable for a two-day stay.

Beautifully located hotel high on a hill outside Ushuaia. There is a shuttle bus taking guests into town if they want to leave! Very comfy and well equipped rooms. The spa is beautiful with outdoor jacuzzi's and infinity pool overlooking the town below - especially lovely view at night. There is also an indoor pool and jacuzzi's as well as gym and games room. The breakfast is exceptional as was dinner. Highly recommend! There are a number of walking trails from the hotel which are very well marked with great views.

No words. Best hotel I ever stayed in my life. All is perfect! The views are astonishing and you see all beagle channel and the mountains from each corner of hotel. The design of the hotel is amazing, the room is huge, the pools and jacuzzi are like a dream. Dinner was exceptional huge seafood and meat from parrila variety. Same for breakfast.

Upon arrival, the check-in was a little slow. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a great view. The parking lot is ample and convenient. Good shower (the shower handle was slightly cracked and squirted to the side). Facilities are ample if somewhat stern. We had the year-end buffet party and it was very good. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. We had dinner at the restaurant twice and the food variety at the buffet was outstanding. Good selection of wines. A special recognition to the grill chef, Gustavo, who was very courteous and prepares some of best roast lamb and ribeye I have had in Argentina and Chile. Service at the restaurant was very good. Overall I give the hotel a 4.5 which I rounded to 5. I definitely recommend it.

The room was incredible, the view of the mountain, I could wake up with that view for the rest of my life! It had a fantastic bathroom; the bathtub had a shower on it, so it was nice to take baths there. The bed was comfortable, the facilities were nice and all of them had an incredible view. The hotel has some trekking paths to go on, and they are so beautiful, even better than some excursions you may do. The Spa is so good, and the wifi works fantastic; we went to work there and had an excellent connection. The restaurant is amazing; I would suggest eating from the menu, which is not that expensive and more gourmet than the buffet. Every day, the person who cleans your room leaves you free water and some chocolates, which is a great detail considering the hotel's location.

We really enjoyed our stay! Nice staff, large rooms with the view! The food was delicious - super breakfast with lots of choice, restaurant with buffet or cart for dinner - we tried them both and never were disappointed. But the most amazing thing was a pool area! Large clean pools, not so much people, a bar with drinks and snacks, and of course the terrace with pool and hot tubes! Would like to stay there forever :)

Valle Frio is an excellent accommodation and base for visiting Ushuaia and the Tierra de Fuego, and for snow skiing at Cerro Castor. I had a relatively long and comfortable stay of 10 days. The room was a comfortable size, clean, and well laid out. The bed was reasonably comfortable— king size. The private balcony was a nice feature with a view out to the mountains and Beagle Bay. The bathroom was small but of a modern update and very functional. The hotel is well located—about 5 minutes to the main street and numerous great restaurants. The hospitality was excellent; three brothers are the proprietors and are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable of the area, and helpful with general information and recommendations for whatever topic is needful. The breakfast there at the hotel are very good with several options, including eggs, some good choices of breads, fruit, yogurt, good brewed coffee (no espresso), and such typical fare. I was there mainly for snow skiing. The ski shuttle stops right near the hotel, however, I took an Uber to the slopes each day as it was very reasonably priced parentheses about $14 US each way parentheses. The trip took less than 30 minutes. The hotel has a nice storage area for skis and equipment downstairs. The hotel also has an elevator, which is a nice feature for a small hotel after a long day of skiing.

Valle Frío is a family run Hotel a short 3 or 4 streets uphill from the main tourist streets - a very convenient central location for booking tours, restaurants and shuttles to national park hiking trails - yet in a quiet residential area. The brothers, Mattias, Augustin and Jeremias (and their friend Mattias!) are always available for advice, directions - and a delicious breakfast with lots of variety and fresh fruit. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with storage space and a safe. They can arrange pickup and return for the airport. They speak perfect English!

Clean, comfortable and pleasantly situated for a great view of the Channel. The owners were welcoming and very helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and pleasant. We enjoyed a copious breakfast along with delicious homemade bread and cake. They even organised a packed lunch when we had an early start to go to the islands. Arrived here after a week in Buenos Aires to see some penguins. Hotel provided free transportation from the airport to hotel. It is less than 10 walking minutes away from the main street downhill. Hotel has a few stairs and each couple of rooms seem to be on a different floor. They are adding more rooms to the hotel at higher floors which will have most likely great views of the city and the bay. Room was warm, clean and shower was warm too. Everyone spoke English and was very helpful. Breakfast served daily downstairs and has juices, yogurt, medialunas, ham and cheese and you feel like you are at your grandmas house. Grocery store is 2 blocks away so if anything is needed, you can buy it cheap. Neighborhood is very quiet and has a few nice houses. 10 minutes walking distance to the center of the main street, the port, and all the good restaurants. On the way back, we tried matte and had fruits in the hotel. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will for sure come back and try to stay there again specially around ski season.

Good communication from the Hostel as our flights were delayed by 24 hours and they did not charge us for the missed day which was most appreciated. Easy walk to downtown Ushuaia. Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was typical for this region and quite adequate. This hostel is immaculately clean and well maintained. We had a rental car and parking was easy out the front of the hostel. Our room had a lovely balcony with views to the mountains and city centre. This hostel has an internal elevator which was very convenient when moving around with luggage.
