The Van der Valk Hotel Breukelen is a bit of a gem! It is so close to the local railway station and has direct rail links to Utrecht, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Gouda. It’s also handy for the motorway, and there are plenty of buses and cycle paths to the quaint nearby towns of Breukelen and Maarsen (and onto Utrecht and Amsterdam for those on a tight budget) The hotel rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious - we slept well on the comfy beds. The breakfast buffet is a little pricey but there’s a good variety and worth it if filling up for a big day of business meetings or leisure activities! The hotel restaurant is also top notch for a tasty and reasonably priced evening meal if you don’t fancy venturing out. We found the hotel staff to be friendly, approachable and helpful / knowledgeable. Lastly, we enjoyed use of the swimming pool, which is small but the water was warm. As a rail enthusiast I also enjoyed the balcony view on the eastern side of the hotel, with regular intercity trains zooming by. Importantly, there was no noticeable noise from the trains or motorway.

Great location for exploring the Netherlands, so close to both the railway station and the motorway. Utrecht, Amsterdam, Gouda and Rotterdam are all within easy reach by direct train. The hotel is better priced than many city centre hotels and has a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was pricey but was worth it to fill up on a variety of tasty food ready for a days’ exploring!! The restaurant food was also good and reasonably priced for evening meals. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the beds comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and approachable, and gave us great advice.

Lovely stay, be prepared for limited menu in restaurant and just “so-so” food. There are no restaurants around and Uber Eats is only Indian and fried chicken with a minimum $50 order. The breakfast buffet fare is delicious, offering a plethora of choices to suit everyone. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

We quite enjoyed our stay here. It is conveniently located off the highway. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was very good. The windmill out front was wonderful to see.

Very nice location, central to all out travel requirements. Very quiet at night and enjoyable atmosphere due to forest location. It was nice to hear the birds sing!

Newly built cabin and everything works pretty fine. Full kitchen and parking just outside which is very convenient. The road leading to the cabins are muddy and not well maintained. Full of pot holes. Only of they could get it done with proper drive ways that would be perfect

Lovely hut - very new - we liked the hot tub and the Nordic design of the spacious block hut. Excellent access to Henschotermeer and good snack bar. Beds comfortable enough. We would come again.

The accommodation is in a very nice location. Comfortable, well equipped, provided everything we needed - except towels. It's a bit difficult to get to by public transport, but it's perfectly accessible by car. The hosts at the reception were very kind and helpful. We had a great time and would love to come here again.

The hotel has a great location — close to downtown, the train station, and a shopping mall. The room was spacious with a lovely view. We especially enjoyed the in-room jacuzzi, which came with a fun Netherlands-style rubber duck! The soft bathrobes were a nice touch, and the bed was big and very comfortable. Another convenient feature was the iron and ironing board available in the hallway — no need to call reception, you can just take them whenever needed. The staff were also friendly and welcoming.

I'm a returning guest and I love it. The hotel right beside the Utrecht Central Station that's amazing and it's in the center in the same time. Nice area there is a big shopping centre opposite the hotel, restaurants, shops, canal are few steps away, you can find so many type of food around. There is everything you need. The staff really really nice, kind and helpful. The pool with nice view from the top and the spa facilities are amazing. The City XL room was great with fridge, with walk in shower and a big bath too. It was amazing.

The spa room was perfect. Lovely and quiet. The buffet breakfast was lovely too…although I do enjoy baked beans with my sausage..egg and bacon lol..not a complaint..just missed those at the buffet breakfast 😊😉. Staff were super friendly. I’d recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Amsterdam central is easily accessible with the train station so close to the hotel.

The wellness amenities were superb. They made our hotel experience memorable and we will be returning to this property because of them. The location is right next to a huge mall, the central train station, and a few minutes' walk to the center city. It was exactly where we wanted to be. We were on one of the higher floors and the views were amazing. Be sure to also check out the roof decks in the wellness area! Great place to watch a late Utrecht sunset. The rooms are modern, immaculate, and well appointed. The staff were professional, very friendly, and eager to assist guests.

The room was very clean and bathroom was amazing. Didn't expect to have a balcony, which is good. There is a nice coffee machine, fridge and ironing board in the quite spacious room. Small shop in reception area which was convenient.

I had a SPA Suite room, I had a sitting area with an amazing view facing West (with an amazing sunset). The bed was a Superking size and very comfortable, the decor was minimalist and modern, but also very warm and homey. The bathroom was the gem tho. A big jacuzzi with multicolour lights, a shower room that becomes a steam room and a big sauna room with multi function controls. The location is great for all the businesses around, but a bit far if you are on holiday in Utrech, however if you have a car it is worth staying there. I used public transport and there is a bus that stops just outside the hotel from Utrech main station.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was very comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped for a family. One of the highlights was the sleeping arrangement for the kids—not a sofa bed, but actual single beds, which made a huge difference in comfort and quality of rest for everyone. It’s a thoughtful detail that families truly appreciate. Breakfast was another highlight: delicious, fresh, and with a great variety to suit all tastes. From fresh fruit and pastries to local specialties, every morning was a treat. It was an overall excellent experience, and we could definitely stay here again!

It was incredibly dog friendly and the staff made me feel comfortable with my two dogs and even found a place for me to sit with them for breakfast and gave them bones. I was surprised at how large the balcony was for the Garden Suite. The jacuzzi tub was huge as well. The surrounding area is wooden and beautiful but not too far away from restaurants.

We loved the quiet location and the super friendly staff. The castle itself has a romantic feel to it. We had drinks around the fire place which was lovely and cozy. The onsite restaurant is fantastic. The food is creative and tasty. Breakfast was not included in the room price but we were glad we had paid extra for it. There isn't a huge choice, but the quality of the breakfast is wonderful. There was oven-fresh bread and pastries, eggs (scrambled as well as two types of boiled eggs), bacon, various types of cheese and cold cuts as well as muesli options with yoghurt and (plant based) milk. They served fresh orange juice/ tea/ great coffee. Highly recommend having dinner in the restaurant too. Absolutely delicious, Michelin star quality.

Enjoyed a castle room, with a great bed and good coffee machine. Beautyfull view from large balcony wich would be even more fantastic when the weather is good. Nice bathroom but shower needs more water pressure, tub is great. Hotel itself breaths history and every space is lovely and very enjoyable. Open fires with comfortable chairs to enjoy a good glass of wine or whiskey. Bar is cozy, terras very pretty. Restaurant is modern and well decorated. Menu with Asian influences and food is delicious, specially the oysters were great.

This hotel was recommended by my colleague in Amsterdam office as a good place to stay when I arrived in the country because it was near our meeting the next morning. I was skeptical but the hotel turned out to be charming and the staff went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. I arrived on Valentines Day around 21:00 without having had dinner. I was informed when I checked in that the restaurant was fully booked and in any case the only option that night was a special Valentine's menu. I asked if there was any way to eat and they were able to convince the chef to serve me a one-off meal in a separate dining room so that I was able to have a meal at the end of a long day. I really appreciated how they went out of their way to find a solution for me. The hotel itself is well maintained, just as you would expect for a small hotel in the Netherlands. The rooms were clean and quiet; bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and had plenty of options.

Kerckebosch is a nice castle-like complex from the early 1900's. Parked on the rainy, dark parking lot. Needs some trimming of bushes and better lighting. Reception is pleasant, very friendly staff. The rooms urgently needs refurbishing. Shower hose leaking literally half the water before reaching shower head, cleaning sub-standard. The staff told us a full overhaul of the rooms is planned for Q2/Q3 2019. We were late for breakfast but the pro-active staff still served us a very good breakfast. Restaurant and central areas are already refurbished, looks great.

This is a very good 4-star hotel which ticks all the boxes for that type of place. Centrally located (10 minutes walk to old part of town and all restaurants there). Room very comfortable, clean, all you (should) expect. Parking underneath hotel. Breakfast typical but very nice. Staff extremely professional, efficient, and friendly.

I stayed here for several days in Room 133 and had a very comfortable experience overall. The room itself is lovely with very large windows giving plenty of natural light, and being located at the back of the hotel was wonderful. Room upkeep was good, with new carpet and furniture giving it a fresh and welcoming feel. It also had a coffee machine and kettle, very important for a tea drinker like me. The bathroom, while small, is modernised with a large non slip and comfortable shower. The hotel staff were consistently warm, kind and genuinely helpful throughout my stay, making a real difference given the length of my visit. They were always responsive and eager to help, and when I had an issue it was handled swiftly and professionally, which is what matters most to me personally. I would certainly recommend this hotel for a quiet break. It has a nice terrace and restaurant, a good sized car park, and is only a few minutes walk from the train station if venturing into Utrecht or another town takes your fancy. There's also a lovely peaceful park just across the road. All in all, very friendly and genuine staff really made my stay a treat.

The bathtub was amazing, I want to go back to enjoy it again. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and the bed was great. I picked up a pizza from the restaurant which was delicious.

Highly recommended. We stayed overnight with our dog. From the room size, to the play area for the dog, to quality of the dinner and breakfast in the restaurant -- everything was very comfortable and efficient!

Very handy for link to train station. Staff very friendly and helpful and room was clean and tidy and bed very comfortable. Excellent for local restaurants and pubs as it is in the heart of the city. Just wish I had more time to explore the city.

Nice historic location, nice small place to stay with perfect location. Nice cafes and restaurants nearby. The room was cozy and clean, although deluxe means more that you have your own bathroom :) Very friendly staff, nice inner yard. It was a pitty that one could not eat any own snacks or drinks in the inner yard though, since the selection in the hotel menu is rather limited.

Great friendly place. We had the room up in the roof with the wooden beams etc and a nice view over the local houses and the splendid magnolia in the back garden. Tasty breakfast. Handy for the historic town centre. Would highly recommend

All the staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly. We had a superior room and could not have been more comfortable. Just a few minutes walk and we were in the town, where there were many places to have a good meal. The hotel has a lovely garden with a large fig tree, just right for sitting in the shade with a long cool drink. We would highly recommend this hotel

I liked the location, sauna and large jacuzzi.

Our stay at Dutchen Suitelodges Gooilanden was exceptional. The lodge was a perfect blend of modern luxury and cozy comfort, and was spotlessly clean. The private sauna and hot tub were a fantastic way to unwind each evening. The location is wonderfully private and serene, yet ideal for enjoying walks and bike rides. We highly recommend this perfect getaway for anyone seeking privacy, luxury, and relaxation. We'll be back!

Upon arrival, we were very pleasantly welcomed, we received a package with coffee capsules, tea bags, chocolates, salt and pepper, small olive oil and cleaning supplies. Both receptionists were very helpful and nice. The instructions for using the housing were brief and clear, the possibility of ordering fresh baked goods. The accommodation met all our expectations, everything is exactly as in the photos, modern, clean, simply very nice. A view of a natural water channel from the room window, including waterfowl, ducks, herons... Living in harmony with nature. The kitchen equipment is sufficient, we only lacked a smaller pot/saucepan, a larger teapot and capsules for the dishwasher. We used the clothes dryer and the sauna, which was a very nice diversion on cold days. WiFi connection fast and fine. The sensor at the gate did not read the number plate of our car, everything was resolved with the reception. We were leaving before reception opening hours, yet it was very easy to hand over the key to the accommodation without having to visit reception. It allowed us to leave as we needed, which we greatly appreciated. We really liked the accommodation and we believe that we will return sometime.

Everything was amazing, the lodge was well cleaned with very nice smell of aromatic in the villa and it was fully accupied of all what you might need. The garden was lake view and kids friendly my little one likes how she fed the ducks and chicken while we stayed there. The staff very friendly and helpful. AC was great and cools the villa in few minutes. The location in a quite safe area and close to amsterdam. Because of the high safety we left all our luggage in the villa and went to Disneyland for 2 days with no worries of any thief.

This is our second time as a family staying here and we will be back again! The location is great for our family--walking distance to groceries and playground and our extended family. The houses are fantastic, cozy, clean, well stocked and a GREAT fit for families. We love that its a quiet, scenic and convenient location, a well stocked kitchen with everything we always need, and great comfortable beds. We always book two houses and its a great option when coming with a larger group. We will see you all soon and thank you for the wonderful welcome!

There is not alot to do within walking distance- but for a romantic night out this place was perfect. A true hidden gem.

The lodge was light and airy. We liked the sitting out area with comfortable outdoor chairs and a shrubbery screen. Cars moved about very slowly and quietly. It was very hot one day we were there and the lodge didn't become unbearably hot. The site was quiet during our visit. Reception staff were very helpful and spoke English.

Beautiful, clean accommodation, quiet place with an excellent location for trips. The welcome package is delightful and the sauna is a great perk :-) I can only recommend it. Thank you.

We were in Holland for a few days, for a family gathering, and stayed at the Villa Trompenberg. It may initially seem like a "do-it-yourself" hotel (you feel as if at home) except for the fact that all is perfectly arranged, decorated and organised. Much thought has gone into the systems used, from reservations/registration to lighting, the use of the coffee machine, drinks, plugs, the TV, newspapers, etc. The rooms are beautifully laid out and have all the necessary appliances and comforts. The Villa is in a very nice neighbourhood of Hilversum, it has a parking lot, it is quiet and - while a car is a must in terms of getting there and going to nearby restaurants for lunch and/or dinner - they have bicycles for rent to visit the surrounding areas. The breakfast is perfect, and the owners (who run the establishment since some 30 years) are most professional and unfailingly helpful. This is a very special address and we shall definitely return for future stays.

Villa Trompenberg is a super cozy place to spend some time away from the main city. Whether you're visiting the area or just want to get away from Amsterdam, this big mansion transformed into a de luxe B&B is a great option: the surroundings are very calm, the house is beautiful, decorated and maintained with care. The owner and staff are great, super accomodating, and make a very good breakfast. At the same time, everything is self-service, from entrance to snacks. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, bed and shower are awesome, all great! Hilversum is a small city but has a few nice places to eat. We come here every now and then just to get away from kids :-) and the busy life.

Hotel Villa Trompenberg is truly a boutique hotel. It is wonderful in all respects. The rooms are spacious, clean, nicely decorated, the beds are super comfortable, bathrooms are impeccably clean. Breakfast are fantastic and pretty much custom prepared each day. Car parking is free, easy and right outside the front door, what more can you ask for? The honor system for bike rental use, extra coffee, snacks and drinks is a wonderful way of providing guests with pretty much everything and anything the could possible desire.

The hotel is beautifully situated in a dead end street, surrounded by lots of green. The choice of colours wouldn't be mine, it's all very dark. Dark grey, brown and black, from the walls to the carpets to the paintwork. The room was small and very hot. The dark colours andthe large chandelier hanging above the bed made the room even smaller. The summer in The Netherlands was unusually hot and so was the room. The doors to the balcony could be opened to let some air in. Unfortunately the portable air conditioner was blowing only air, the cooling system didn't work. Although the bed was extremely comfortable, we didn't sleep much because of the room's temperature. The small bathroom had no ventilation at all. Breakfast was a feast however, lots of choice and great coffee, great selection of tea, fresh bread and rolls. Friendly staff. But for the price per night I was really disappointed that nobody had checked the makeshift air conditioning. An unnecessary bad night's sleep.

The hotel is located in a very green neighbourhood. With the fountain sound on the background, it felt as a peaceful place. Interior is dark, but stylish. The room was comfortable. The bathroom didn't match the rest of the hotel. Good amenities, but the shower cabin itself looked a bit cheap - I would have expected a rain shower. Service was extremely good, friendly and warm. I liked the breakfast very much, good choice and high quality bread. If I would visit Hilversum again, I definitely would return!

A very welcoming camping site, quiet, clean and not far from different interesting places we wanted to visit, especially Amsterdam, the north coast and Holland in general. Utrecht is just a stones throw away. The bungalow was spacious, luminous and well-equipped. We had tasty pizzas at the restaurant and a nice little gift at our arrival. The receptionist was very helpful as well.

The luxury chalet was surprisingly roomy and perfetly equipped for a week-long stay of the whole family (incl. even a washing machine, vacuum cleaner and ironing board). The chalet was very elegant and perfectly clean. The chalets and villas are not too close to each other providing enough privacy and great views. The holiday park is perfectly maintained and reminds of a large garden. The staff is very helpful. We were surprised to find a lockable storage room provided for each house (perfect for our bikes).

As we are on a cycling trip we need a place that’s convenient for bikes, this was the perfect stop for us, we could easily visit the beautiful city of Amersfoort using our bikes and then come home to relax in our own mini country retreat. We loved watching our neighbours, the horses in the next paddock. The, cabins a term that hardly does them justice, were bright, modern, clean and extremely comfortable. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough, especially travelling by bike or with children…

The cottage was very comfortable and had anything we needed. It was very clean. The place is beautiful. Everything is green, and we had a direct view of the horse ranch. The picnic area outside each cottage was very comfortable, and there was also a trampoline in the playground. The kids loved it. I highly recommend this place.

The lady on reception was so helpful , and could not do enough for us and made our stay so easy . The bar in the site was lovely and friendly and helpful staff . The studio had everything we needed and was so clean , we would highly recommend and will certainly return

The 'standouts' are the location and the staff but everything was great. The hotel sits above a wonderful lunch menu restaurant, serving the greatest soup. I really recommend the Classic. The place is very veggie/vegan friendly. You can sit outside watching the world go by (next to one of the many canals in Utrecht) but you may have to wait for a seat. This place is popular! Our room was on the first floor and was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Very stylish and with tea & coffee making facilities and a mini-bar. Everything you could want from a superior room. This was our third stay here and I would say that it is worth paying a little extra, if you can, to get a superior room. Utrecht is not a cheap city so it may not be that easy to justify. We've stayed in other rooms and they are excellent too. I have to call out the staff. They are amazing. So welcoming and friendly and helped us with our luggage. On that subject, if you need to store bags then there is a secure area downstairs. Utrecht is our favourite city. If you are tempted by Amsterdam then I would really recommend taking the 20 minute train journey south. The railway station is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Shops, chips with mayo (who thought that was a good idea?) and, possibly, the best bike shop in the world - Republic Dutch.

The staff of all young women was extremely friendly and welcoming (thank you Britte). Below their logement is a cute and cozy lunchroom that specializes in amazing soups. In the morning while taking the stairway to exit your way onto the Utrecht canal area you are welcomed by an amazing scent of freshly prepared herbs and spices they use for the soups. The room is comfortable and feels homey right away. You can tell the items in the room, and especially the bathroom, are curated specifically to match the well aged style of the building and the historical area. You're smack dab in the middle of the middle of the centre of Utrecht, right next to the Dom tower, a myriad of bars, restaurants, well known stores and niche boutiques. I am Dutch myself and as someone who knows the cities and its hotels very well, I 100% recommend staying here. Unless you like ugly things, then its not for you.

A short and easy walk from the main train station. The check in was through a bakery which was odd at first but the staff were so welcoming and friendly. They also had my very heavy suitcase delivered to my room for me (which was a very pleasant surprise). There’s no lift and the stairs are narrow and steep. They have a very tiny cleaning lady who is incredibly strong and carried my case down for me single-handedly without being asked. She is also very polite and sweet. The hotel is quaint and boutique and extremely charming. The room is exactly like the pictures on the website - very pretty and welcoming. The bakery itself also does soup and the food in there is great. €18 for breakfast and additional coffee - it was absolutely delicious. Try the lemon and lavender cake if you get he chance. The room was street facing and had a great view of a lively part of Utrecht. The location is excellent! Minimal walk to all tourist attractions and max. 20 mins to cinema (for slower walkers), mall and the TivoliVredenburg (music venue) - though Utrecht is a city to slowly stroll through. One should not be in a hurry and take it all in.

We enjoyed our stay at Logemont Petit Beijers! The location was perfect for our stay in Utrecht, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was small, but it was comfortable and had everything we needed. The optional breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and I highly recommend having the soup for lunch at least once. They have the best coffee, and we had at least two cappuccinos every day. If you wish to stay in the heart of Utrecht, Logemont Petit Beijers is a great choice!

Charming little boutique hotel with historical significance in an ideal central location. We had a large room, which we did not find particularly large at 21 - 25sq metres, but it was adequate. Our room was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Most importantly the bed was extremely comfortable. A down side of the hotel being an eco-friendly hotel is that there is no bar fridge in the room. Not necessarily an issue, but I have medication that must be refridgerated. The issue was resolved when staff provided me access to a hotel fridge for my medication. We loved the cozy, relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. There is no cafe or restaurant within the hotel but you need only step outside the front door to be spoilt for choice for somewhere to eat. The hotel has an arrangement with Vegitalian, an amazing little vegetarian cafe/restaurant less than 100 metres around the corner of the hotel, where you can have a fabulous breakfast at a fixed price. We ate here often, and not just for breakfast! We spent seven nights in this hotel and would not hesitate to return. Our first visit to the beautiful city of Utrecht made all the more wonderful by our stay at Mother Goose.

Hotel is located in the city center. It is easy to walk around and just minutes from the train (very convenient mode of transport). There're many places around you can walk to, sit, enjoy the life and people passing by. Shops/supermarkets available in a short distance. Check out the library in the old post office building when you're in town. The team is very friendly and helpful - thank you! My room was located on the 4th floor. The stairs are steep, but fear not! There's a very convenient lift :) I loved the view from my window - over the roofs. I woke up and opened the window and room was bathed in the sun. I liked the room decorations a lot. The bed was big and comfortable. There's a coffee machine, kettle and plenty of tea/coffee bags. The bathroom had a huge shower - it was great! I liked the provided soaps/shampoo and nice towels. The hotel - which is clearly stated - is cooperating with nearby vegetarian restaurant which I can recommend.

Staff are very welcoming and happy to help with any queries. Someone is always available. As soon as you walk in the hotel, it smells fantastic. My room was gorgeous and spacious with an amazing view of the Dom Tower. I slept soundly, thanks to the big comfortable bed and the ear plugs provided (location is very central and I faced the square, so there was a little noise). The room had everything I needed for a relaxing stay in Utrecht. My room was very clean and the shower was great. Also, a lovely personal note in my room when I arrived. I had a perfect stay at Mother Goose. I would recommend and definitely go back.

I would say the property is very amazing clean and tidy. I love the decoration. The vibes. The best point is the location. If you like to walk just walk from Utrecht central station for 12 minutes. But if you like to take a bus from the Uttech central station just need 1 stop and walk for 2 minutes. Very easy to access. Very close to the supermarket. Also if you looking to have a nice dinner and drink just walk 3 minutes from the hotel you will see many restaurants with a nice view. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely, I will be back for spring.

Very nice and spacious rooms with high ceiling. Very good location. Very good shower and large bathtub. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nicely decorated. High quality toiletries. The hotel provided (with a cost) a birthday surprise for my boyfriend, balloons and a small cake. Attentive staff. Parking right next to the hotel (30 euros for 24hs). For the breakfast the breads with toppings are served on the table together with your request of coffee/thee/ fresh orange juice, then you pick from their menu what you want to eat. There are a lot of options and the quality is top notch, best breakfast i ever had in a hotel.

If your budget allows, The Nox Hotel is an excellent choice. The rooms are truly spectacular! Compared to other hotels in Utrecht city center, The Nox Hotel offers relatively affordable parking fees. Arriving before the 3 pm check-in time allows you to pay based on your parking duration. Front Desk: The front desk staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. They provide caring assistance and helpful service. Room: We were pleasantly upgraded to a Large Double Room, and it was absolutely wonderful! Being a boutique hotel, every aspect of the room is well thought out. From the intricacies of the shower set to the spaciousness of the high ceiling and the indulgence of the open bathtub, the room exceeded our expectations. The Nox Hotel distinguishes itself as a boutique hotel that pays attention to detail, even down to handwritten notes for their guests and delightful meals at their restaurant. They provide locally sourced brand diffusers and shower sets, which smell fantastic! Additionally, they surprised us with a complimentary Lush bath bomb – a small but thoughtful gesture. If I find myself visiting Utrecht again, The Nox Hotel will undoubtedly be my top choice.

Beautiful, spotless rooms with incredible decor. Hotel felt very plush and comfortable. Location was perfect and tucked away so my room was quiet. Coffee machine in room was a very nice touch, as were the beautiful toiletries. I was travelling alone for work and this was the perfect spot for my stay. The Nox staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The breakfast, restaurant 'hemel en aarde' where excellent. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. The room was convenient, clean, fresh and quite. We absolutely had a great time and would recommend the hotel to anyone.

- Excellent location, easily accessible by transit, in walking/biking distance to everything you might want to do in central Utrecht. Lots of great restaurants nearby. - Superb breakfast in the fancy restaurant attached to the hotel. Keep in mind it's not a buffet, you have to order from a menu, but that only makes it feel more fancy. - Convinent bike rental - Easy to get in late using the keycard without having to bother anyone to open the door - Very comfy bed - Fantastic service, both in the reception and at the restaurant.

We didn’t eat at their restaurant, but it’s supposed to be quite good and other travelers enjoyed the breakfast, but we’re not big breakfast eaters to we didn’t eat there. The staff is incredibly helpful and the location is beautiful. A little outside the city center, but a close 5-10 minute walk. If you enjoy a comfortable hotel with great beds, pillows and old world charm, this is the place.

The hotel was amazing, very beautiful rooms and garden. The breakfast was exceptional. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The family suite was an experience of its own :) The heated indoor pool, hot tub and sauna were inviting and relaxing. The staff was generous and we were allowed to check out late, at 13:00, with no extra cost. The whole experience was of very high quality.

This is surely the best hotel in Utrecht. The site is very quirky with multiple buildings. I overheard someone saying it used to be a military hospital! Was there for 2 nights. On the first day a few things weren’t as expected, but my better half spoke to one of the managers and this turned in to one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. They couldn’t do enough for us. They even found out where we were having dinner on Friday night, called them and paid our bar bill. Who does that?? I’ve never seen that before. Their bar is cozy with a fire, the restaurants were very busy and we didn’t book, so didn’t get to try the food, but it looked amazing from what I could see. The staff are very very good; exactly what you would expect from a 5 star, but they went above and beyond for us, all over a tiny issue

We absolutely loved this hotel. We arrived to Utrecht by train and the hotel was about 5 mins walk from the train station. The front of the hotel is very elegant. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. We walked to our room through the hotel gardens and the gardens were lovely. Our room was excellent. Very big, plenty of space for two of us. Clean and comfortable. The bed was very big and comfortable. The hotel provided us with robes and slippers. We used the spa area every day of our stay. The hotel has a back entrance which leads you straight into the town centre. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Deluxe, motorcycle friendly accommodation in the heart of Utrecht. Rob and the staff are excellent and provide exceptional service. The rooms are large, quiet and well appointed. The two restaurants on site are wonderful and serve amazing food at a reasonable price given the quality. Off street parking on site. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good choice. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet. The central location gave easy access to local shops and restaurants. Plus easy access to cycle routes. we only ate in the restaurant one night as it was quite pricy, but the food was excellent.

Everything!! From the moment we arrived we were so well looked after. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Our room was so modern and comfortable. The hotel had a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed food in the restaurant and an array of hot and cold food was offered at breakfast. There was also storage for our bikes.

Not only it is a very cute boutique hotel in a perfect location with an underground parking across the street but the restaurant was outstanding! Dinner was amazing , dry aged beef delicious,locals come to hang out at the bar. Great vibes. Breakfast was also top notch !

Its a nice Boutique hotel with beautiful garden and amazing view, easy to park if you travel by car, kind and helpful staff. We've been a bit disappointed by the poor choice of the dinner menu but enjoyed a nice selection of great wines, especially the Chardonnay. Also our room was really dusty and for people with dust allergy this could be a real problem. We spent there 3 nights and the coffee/tea wasn't re loaded after we made a cup of coffee once. Everything else was great and we enjoyed our stay in Flora Batava.

The breakfast was amazing, The gardens of the hotel were maintained and preserved perfectly. The family room was beyonf our expectation and overall the hotel was amazing and in an amazing setup. I recommend this hotel and would definately stay again there if I travel in that area again.

Very central location, maximum 10 minutes walking distance from all the shops and museums and right next door to the Dom tower, Pieterskerk and many good cafes and restaurants. Breakfast in the hotel was very civilised, quiet and delicious. Bread and croissants served warm to the table, juice freshly squeezed.

Location is great: right around a corner from the Dom. The hotel is super chic, an old building with cherished antiques inside, yet modern. The room was really spacious and stylish and cozy, liked it very much, there was a tea kettle and a coffee maker. Beds are comfy. Breakfast might not be that rich and varied (there is an option list you have to fill the day before), but everything is fresh and delicious! The bell tower plays nice little songs every hour, but why in the name of God it keeps on working at night?😅 Luckily the hotel provides ear plugs (they were laying on the bedside tables), that saved my sleep, so million thanks for that!

This was the best stay of our Netherlands trip. We were upgraded to the suite and had the most amazing experience. The reception is not manned at all hours but check in and out were simple as the hotel communicated to us the hours clearly. We had the ground floor suite and windows overlooked the path outside so we could enjoy the authentic experience of Dutch living! But not to worry, there were shutters to close the windows if you don’t want people looking in. The hotel itself is located in a beautiful mansion near the church, once used as a city palace. Its location is perfect and you are surrounded by lovely restaurants and walking distance to everything happening in Utrecht. The hotel staff were lovely and friendly, and the hotel provided all amenities (shampoo, body wash, towels, hair dryer, hand lotion). The only issue we had was the unexpected lack of hot water in the shower after 11.30pm on our first night. Our floor heater also seemed to have shut off. We sent off a message to the hotel, and the reception staff informed us the next day that the lack of hot water late at night was due to energy redirected to heating. Hot water resumed again in the morning when we woke up, and we took note to shower earlier. But it was a Cinderella moment especially as we liked coming back late at night. Nonetheless, if we come back to Utrecht, I would book this hotel again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, offering a quiet retreat despite its central location right next to the iconic Dom Tower. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful — communication via WhatsApp made our early arrival and luggage drop-off seamless, allowing us to enjoy a relaxed city tour before check-in. Although the reception isn’t open 24/7, everything was perfectly arranged in advance. One of the highlights was the access to a lovely garden, which was especially appreciated as we were traveling with our dog. It truly enhanced our stay. Highly recommended for both location and hospitality!

A really lovely hotel with quirky interior decor that works mixing modern and traditional. Staff super helpful and friendly right from the time of booking months in advance to the arrival and stay for 3 nights. Had a large twin bed room facing the street, comfy beds and pillows, great pressure in the walk in shower, all the necessary room amenities provided - iron/board/kettle etc. Breakfast choices were delicious with healthy choices. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

It's weird but regarding electronics they only had a TV, so no mini-fridge, no hairdryer, no iron. The beds were comfortable though. Breakfast - super, tasty breakfast buffet, great choices, but especially nice - the terrace by the breakfast buffet with view to the forest was extremely beautiful! The Staff is extra friendly, always ready to help, competent and solved each and every question immediately. The welcoming atmosphere was greatly executed. Coffee and tea are available at any time in the lobby for free. The location is wonderful, there are many possibilities to take a walk, pure nature, very calm, surrounded by a pretty forest. Only 2 minutes until the highway on the car. The parking lot is big and convenient, right by the door. Perfect for a quick stop.

There is free parking , the location perfect close for everything . The room was pretty big With a hall almost like a studio apartment . Very clean. The matras super comfortable and big kingsize. The room with balcony so if you re smoker it’s pretty comfy. The air super fresh and nice forest view . Very quiet place , so who wanna be in peace from far away the noisy cities it’s the perfect location.

What a gem of a place. Good sized rooms with a forest view. Although near the motorway (so easily accessible) you can't hear any road noise at all. Staff friendly. Not tea/coffee making in room but free tea/coffee accessible in the lobby that you can have there in comfort or take to your room. Great ground to walk in.15 minutes by car to Amersfoort. Staff friendly. Free parking Excellent free breakfast Restaurant down the road was amazing.

This is truly an amazing place. Above and beyond expectations. Check in and out was very easy. The surroundings were beautiful. The room was larger than expected and the balcony was great. The bar was well priced and the staff friendly and helpful since we didn't know the beers or wines of the area. The breakfast was also beyond expectations. Truly hated to leave. Our stay was that nice.

Easily accesible next to the highway, although next to the highway the rooms are very quiet. Nice view at the forest from the balcony, free coffee & tea and excellent breakfast.

The hotel is situated in the heart of the town of Oudewater, a delightful place. The hotel is smallish, but well appointed. The rooms are spacious and furnished appropriately especially if you enjoy designer chic. The beds are comfortable and the desk is of a good size for working at. Breakfast was adequate but choice was unimaginative. The restaurant is large, especially the light conservatory area. A limited dinner menu. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is a good base for the exploring the area. We used the good public transport links.

Very central in old Oudewater town, rooms are modern spacious well equipped and clean, was quiet. The restaurant served one of the best meals we have had in the last month of travel. The staff were great. All over a big 100 out of 100 for a score

Nice building from outside, restaurant was warming with very good food & selection of drinks. Room was adequate, clean and quiet, loved the metal rack system, excellent for all your motorcycle gear all in one place. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Carpark area is at the back of the property which is secure. It's only a 10min walk to the small town square with restaurants and a pub.

Lovely welcoming hotel, very clean and comfortable. Modern big room, delicious food in the restaurant and they were very accommodating with the dog. Top marks, will return!

We stayed for three nights and could not fault the hotel. Room on the 9th floor was spacious and clean Bed was large and comfortable. Large bathroom with jacuzzi style tub and large walk in shower was modern and clean. The pool and sauna on the 20th floor were a great way to relax after exploring the town. Breakfast choice was varied, superbly displayed and of excellent quality. My only gripe was that guests were smoking and throwing their butts on the floor at the hotel revolving door entrance. being a non smoker it was not a pleasant experience and doesn’t look good for the hotel appearance or reputation. A separate designated area would be beneficial so guests do not have to walk through plumes of harmful smoke,when gaining access to the hotel.

Fabulous hotel on outskirts of Utrecht. Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent facilities including a swimming pool on 19th floor - wonderful views. Our room was fantastic - spacious, clean, with amazing views. The breakfast was one of the best we've ever had in a hotel. Onsite parking was convenient. The bus stop that takes you into the city is only a few minutes walk away. The journey takes 10 minutes and buses run every 5-10 minutes. Would definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at this property, where the late-night access to the sauna and pool added a relaxing touch to the evening. The room was impeccably clean, and the in-room sauna functioned perfectly, providing a luxurious experience alongside the superb bubble bath in the quickly heating bathtub. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall comfort of my stay. Breakfast was a delightful affair, offering a variety of tasty and filling options to start the day right.

The beds were great, the room spacious &clean. Wellness was good with long opening hours. The food is excellent (breakfast is abundant, fresh, good quality,… & also restaurant food all delicious). Interior looks wonderful with many details to discover (the children’s toilet, the movie in the elevator,…) Convenient to park car in underground and take any of the frequent buses into the city. Staff were all super helpfull.

I stayed at the Hunfeld for 5 nights for an academic conference. Everything was very comfortable and well thought out. I received a room on the fourth floor, very quiet, with a view of the historic sites. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I didn’t purchase breakfast, but hotel guests are welcome to use the coffee station on the first floor – which was great. The hotel is in a fantastic location, right in the heart of the old city, close to all the restaurants and shops, yet away from busy roads.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is perfect — close to everything but still quiet enough to relax and get a good night’s sleep. The staff were amazing, always kind and ready to help with anything I needed. Breakfast was simple but tasty, with enough options to start the day right. The room was comfortable, clean, and surprisingly quiet given how central the hotel is. Overall, it felt very welcoming and easygoing, the kind of place that makes traveling stress-free. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Location is perfect, in the city center a few steps away from the Domkerk and the shopping streets. Hotel style is super elegant, perfect match between the old architecture and some modern touch. The bed Auping was a dream, super comfortable. The lounge area where we have breakfast is really peacefull. Breakfast is not a buffet, you receive a plate with super good dishes, fresh fruits, eggs, salmon, fresh bakeries. Not too much, not too less, perfect quantity. Thank you the nice stay !

Two outstanding things about this hotel are: it is undeniably in a perfect part of town, right next to absolutely everything, including Central Station. Yet it’s still a little bit off the beaten path where you feel it’s a little quiet. The other extending thing about the hotel is the staff, it is a small hotel run by a small group of people and it’s a very personal experience. The room itself is comfortable and clean. The only thing I would say that prevents me from giving it five stars is it is a little dark on the inside, especially in the common areas, and it’s not really luxurious, but maybe that would be too much to expect for the very reasonable price. So it’s not the kind of place you want to spend all day in your room, but an excellent place if you want a convenient and reliable and clean place to spend the night, take a shower and come back to after a day out.

The location of the hotel was amazing. Easy reach from the central station and great vibes around the hotel with cafes/restaurants and shops. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really well portioned and served in a very nice, peaceful breakfast room.

I stayed at the Eye Hotel whilst in Utrecht on business. I was at the University for a conference. It was a very comfortable hotel, with very friendly staff and a warm welcome. The room was very nice with a comfy bed, great shower and very clean and moder. bathroom. The location is superb, just a couple of minutes from the main bus route and seconds from coffee shops and a small supermarket. It has a very pleasant bar and restaurant right next door. The hotel is quiet with no noise pollution from outside whatsoever. If I was to revisit Utrecht I will stay here again, 100%!

A fabulous family room and amazing staff. The hotel is a former eye hospital and there are some interesting touches as a reminder. Conveniently situated in a quiet street in the centre of Utrecht, perfect for the city centre and a short walk from the station. But mainly, the family room was large, very clean and comfortable. the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. the breakfast was delicious. It was great value for what it was and in comparison with others we looked at. we would stay again and would highly recommend.

I had a very friendly welcome from the staff (and the cat concierge) and was upgraded to a large 'family' room, which was clean and spacious with natural wood floors, modern decor, big windows and plenty of natural light. And I appreciated the in-room safe, always welcome! The hotel is in a good location, an easy walk to the city centre but in a quiet, mostly residential area with shops and restaurants nearby. (Word to the wise: 'coffeeshops' do not sell coffee! ;-) )

We stayed at this hotel for a few days in Utrecht and had a really good experience. I went with my partner and would highlight the cleanliness, the comfortable bed, and how quiet it was — something that’s very important to me. The staff were very friendly and there’s the option to rent bikes directly at the hotel, which is super convenient. The location is excellent: right in the city centre but on a side street parallel to a main one, so it’s peaceful and quiet at night. On the downside, the room was quite small (though cozy), and the shower is inside the bedroom, which means it gets quite steamy and you need to open the window to ventilate, even when it’s cold outside. We stayed on the top floor, and there’s a flight of stairs to reach it — not a big issue, but it can be a bit inconvenient if you’re carrying large suitcases, as Dutch stairs are typically quite steep and narrow. Overall, a very pleasant stay and a hotel I would definitely recommend for a visit to Utrecht.

We went to this hotel for the second time. The first time was ok (we had a bad situation then with shouting people in the room next to us). Check is great and done by friendly (and good looking) staff. We have a free upgrade which is GREAT! The room is nice and clean! Coffee and tea facilities are there. And also a safe is available. The bathroom is clean and nice but there wasn’t enough toiletpaper. It wasn’t refilled. But after asking they refilled it. The bed is great and you can choose which pillow you want. During showering we saw that the shampoo was empty :(. Well ok we had a upgrade, but I think the basic is more important. We told the reception about our complaints and he was very gentle! So no big complaints from our side but just small improvements. Breakfast is great over here!! Parking is free and there is also a lot of parking space.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of nature, bungalow type. Very nice rooms, cosy, eco-friendly, decorated with taste. We were traveling with our dog and the room was prepared accordingly, there was a dog pillow, bowls, even a little treat for him. Staff extremely helpful and nice. Good dinner in the hotel restaurant. Beautiful forest all around the hotel. We will be back!

The breakfast was very generous and very delicious with a wide range of breads and charcuterie, jams, yoghurts, fruit and pastry. Eggs and bacon were also available. The location is superb with easy access to lots of foot and cycling paths into the lovely countryside and pretty villages. A bonus was the provision of bicycles to rent at competitive prices. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The room was bright and comfortable with lots of sunlight and attractive decor. The outside spaces were especially inviting.

The shower was just a button to turn on/off the water flow without the possibility to adjust the water flow. That was uncomfortable.

The hotel is in a shopping center right beside the Utrecht Central Station. The location is AMAZING if you travel by train . Easy to get there, shopping center is full with shops and restaurants and in the heart of Utrecht. The room was nice and clean, big enough, view was really nice from the top, ftidge in the room, everyday cleaning if needed. Premium room had a bathroom with a big bath and a large walk in shower too. Bed was comfortable. The staff was really friendly and helpful.

Modern, secure and comfortable hotel overall, with stylish decor and a quality breakfast offering. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe. Close proximity to train station and having numerous shops including a grocery store within the shopping centre was highly convenient. Staff were excellent - especially the breakfast staff who were welcoming, kind and attentive. I would definitely stay here again for both business and leisure purposes.

The upstairs room (with private bath) was less spacious, but had a nice view of a beautiful building and a peek into the central square. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Short walk to central station. Amersfort is a lovely town. We recommend going to the pub in the evening and sitting in the room with the glass ceiling. Gorgeous surprise view.

We needed a budget friendly place to stay in Amersfoort for the night so we decided on Long Johns Pub & Hotel. We were greeted with a smile when we came in and the friendly gentleman checked us in very quickly - we had pre checked online already so it was a breeze. We got our key and went up two flights of stairs to our room. Our room was just what we asked for - full bed with a shower in the room and the bathroom was right outside the door. The room was clean and as an added touch - Dutch mints were left by each of our pillows. There was a large wood desk, a stool and a place to hang our clothes with hangers. The attached shower room was clean and had a soap/shampoo dispenser in the shower. There was also a soap dispenser supplied at the sink. The WC (water closet/toilet room) outside the room was also clean and had spay that you could pre wipe the toilet with. There was a small sink in there as well. We had coffee and tea in the room and also a small refrigerator. The window opened to the square that the hotel corners. We were there on a Friday and there was a plant/flower market happening. Ear plugs aer supplied because apparently it can get quite loud but we didn't have any trouble with the noise. Just around the corner is a Main Street with shops, medieval buildings and plenty of places to get food.

The location was great with lots of restaurants outside the door. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a big bathtub and was spacious. We stayed in room number one downstairs which had a private courtyard. It was very quiet and I would highly recommend to book this room if noise bothers you.

THE BED. In fact - I wrote them a private message to see if I could know the brand name of the pillows and mattress they use because it was THAT comfortable. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has really nice food and quite good prices. The location is centrally located so easy to get to-from where you need to go whether that's shopping, restaurants or central station, or in my case -- school. It was the perfect spot and would definitely stay here again.

Superior breakfast with flaky croissants, crispy fresh baked buns, fresh loaf cake ,fruit, yogurt, your choice of coffee, fresh squeezed OJ. When they ran out of buns, the staff baked more, even though there were still several croissants left. A welcome drink at the bar when you arrive. We took the suite on the top floor which was enormous. The restaurant had lots of indoor and outdoor seating. They were right at the heart of the old town, by the tourist information centre.

Everything! The room was perfect till the last detail. Comfortable beds, the most amazing and spoiling bathroom I have ever had in a hotel. We had a suite for 4 with a terrace with a view to the lake and the ducks and geese. The free coffee in the room was very tasty and the TV was huge and movable between the bedroom and the living room. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. The breakfast buffet was generous and tasty with the best view of the lake. We were lucky with the weather so that makes everything even better! To add to the greatness of this hotel, there was a small gym, heated pool with glass windows facing the lake and a sauna. And... Bowling 🎳 The nicest one I have ever been to. Only 6 lanes and elegant. We were alone there. It was like a private bar/bowling. We also liked that it's not in the city but close enough to walk there. For us it was perfect to walk 30 minutes after eating...

The hotel was set in wonderful location near a park and water and felt very peaceful. The parking was plentiful and spacious. The rooms were large and has everything you could need including a balcony if you were on the 1st or 2nd floor. The beds were super comfortable and they have actual air conditioning! I also liked the ease of using the TV to add your various apps to and the fact it was simple to remove your details. Also the internet was good and stable. The staff were friendly and informative. The restaurant was good for dinner and breakfast. The pool and sauna were good - note the sauna is electric so more of a dry heat but still enjoyable as you look out to the nature of the surroundings. The location is a short walk from a transport hub that will get you into the centre of the city.

Whenever we visit Utrecht, we only stay at Hotel Mitland. It’s a fantastic hotel in a great location, set right by a beautiful lake and park. The setting is perfect for relaxing or as a base for exploring the surrounding area. The rooms are large, spotlessly clean, and equipped with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. The staff are consistently helpful, friendly, and enthusiastic — with special praise for the housekeeping team, who prepare and freshen up the rooms impeccably every day. The restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere and serves excellent dishes, including thoughtful vegan options. The coffee and cappuccino are also top-notch, with plant-based milk choices available. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to include a steam iron and ironing board in the rooms. More than just a hotel, staying at Hotel Mitland is truly an experience!

Very spacious comfortable room, very nice bathroom. Nicely furnished. Breakfast isn't provided, but aside from the fridge, kettle and coffee machine, there are 2 plates with knives and forks, plus a fold-out table and extra chair, so you can buy fresh breakfast items from nearby supermarkets/bakeries. The bed is very comfortable. The guesthouse is in a pedestrian-only shopping street - no traffic noise and very quiet at night.

Cozy Pillow was very good. In the centre of historic Utrecht, so could go for a rest in afternoons. Spielkas museum right across the hotel. Everywhere is easily walkable. Room was modern,comfortable, with modern, big bathroom and a outside patio which we enjoyed. The vitual key entrance to room and hotel worked excelent. You need wifi though. We could leave our luggage after check out in the shop attached to hotel. Photos on site is a true reflection.

The stay was very pleasant! The accommodation is located slightly away from the city centre in Amersfoort, but within a few minutes' walk you are in the old town. The railway station is about a 20-minute walk away. The accommodation is clean, modern and perfect for a short stay. The staff are very welcoming. The breakfast was sufficient - not a large selection, but all in all okay (you shouldn't expect an extensive breakfast buffet). The price-performance ratio is very good. You can also park your car for free nearby without having to pay for a parking space. Very nice stay! Always happy to return!

The hotel is a remodeled vintage building, in a nice style, in a small forest area. I had small room in a unique style that gives a nice cozy feeling. Shower, TV, working desk and windows that open to give nice fresh air. The restaurant has a small menu selection, but certainly with original and tasty dishes. And a good breakfast buffet (with real scrambled eggs) makes for a comfortable stay

What a great find. An amazing conversion of an old church which has resulted in a stylish, spacious bar and restaurant area. The room is compact (as advertised) but contained all we needed. The bed was really comfortable and the aircon worked efficiently. The pre booked breakfast was excellent and good value. We walked around the pretty canals and found a lovely vegetarian restaurant for dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I really loved my stay at BUNK Hotel Utrecht! The location is perfect, just a short walk from Utrecht Central Station and right in the heart of the city. What makes this place truly special is that it’s set in a beautifully converted church, combining stunning old architecture with creative, modern design. The atmosphere is relaxed, youthful, and full of character. I stayed in one of the pod rooms in a mixed-gender space, and although I initially thought I might feel uncomfortable, it actually turned out to be completely fine. The space felt safe, clean, and well-managed, and everyone was respectful. The pod itself was cozy, private enough, and great for a good night’s rest. I had to leave early before breakfast started, but everything else about my stay was excellent. I also met some great people and really enjoyed the friendly, social vibe. BUNK has such a cool concept, a blend between a boutique hotel and a social hostel — offering both comfort and community. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Utrecht!

I’ve stayed in a lot of hostels in my time — and I can safely say this is the nicest I’ve ever stayed in. The bed pods were spotless and so comfortable, the bathrooms and amenities were extremely clean, the location was ideal for exploring Utrecht and accessing the train station, and the service was excellent. The coffee served in the cafe was delicious too! I also have to mention something about the service: during my stay, my padlock broke late at night — leaving my backpack and passport stuck inside the locker. I had to leave early the next morning, so I alerted one of the staff, who was super attentive and said she’d call someone to come in the morning to break it open. I woke up at 7am the following morning to find that one of the staff had already broken open the padlock for me — meaning I could access my things and leave the hostel on time. This was so convenient and thoughtful of the team, and made my life so much easier :)

It is an excellent choice for limited budget and is clean and comfortable.

Additionally, I had the opportunity to have breakfast at the riverside tables in the restaurant. The breakfast options were varied and good. The restaurant menu and drinks were satisfying. Despite being in a small town, it was a clean hotel with plenty of rooms. It is close to the city of Utrecht, and for those like me who travel by car, it is centrally located, making it possible to reach different areas within 1.5 hours. The cleanliness, amenities, and spaciousness of the rooms were quite good.

The hotel and restaurant are exceptional. The personell was very friendly and helpful, the food and breakfast very good. The room was clean, quiet, and had a great view over the canal. I was able to store my bike securely in the garage. The location is also great, if you want to explore Harmelen. Will definately come back :-)

Stayed for 1 night while attending a wedding nearby. Service provided was outstanding - from facilitating early check-in, borrowing an iron/ironing board, to shopping at the hotel shop. I didn't get a chance to dine at the restaurant/bar, but their shop has a fine selection of Belgian Trappist beer, including Westvleteren 12, which was chilled for me to enjoy in my hotel room balcony. I booked a single room but it was in fact a twin room and was quite spacious (including balcony with river view). Room/bathroom have all the facilities that you would need. Free car parking in front of the hotel is also great, although space is limited (3 spaces only).

The location was excellent - village centre with parking and a beautiful church to the front, a small canal and views over farmland to the rear. The restaurant/ bar was very pleasant with good choices for dinner and breakfast. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

The restaurant staff and the reception desk folks were very polite and helpful. PRO: The hotel rooms are comfortable, but not expansive. The bed was comfortable. A complementary bottle of wine was waiting in our room. A nice touch. The small restaurant which also serves as the buffet breakfast space, had interestingly innovative dinner menu. The breakfast was adequate, and usual fare one finds in hotels all over the Netherlands. There was an umbrella stand for guests to borrow one, if it’s raining outside. CONS: Our room overlooked the railway tracks, and an occasional rumble was heard as trains passed by.

Centrally located, Utrecht station is only 10 minutes walk away, as is central Utrecht with its large shopping centre and an array of cafe’s bars and restaurants. Lovely hotel with warm welcoming staff. Our room was immaculate, beautiful walk in shower large comfortable bed, what more do you need! Massive Tv ! The breakfast was great, lots of it from continental meats and fresh fruit with yoghurt along with cereals to the hot selection. Scrambled eggs, sausages,bacon, coffee and tea. We were seated straight away and greeted with a smiley welcome.

We stayed for 5 days. The hotel was beautifully designed, spotless and well-maintained, and it is located in the center with easy access to the train station, public transportation and walking distance to the old part of the city. The breakfast each morning was generous, fresh, and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. The gym was also impressive—spacious, well-equipped. Most importantly, the staff were consistently warm, attentive, and professional.

The hotel’s location is ideal, just a short walk from Utrecht Central Station, making it perfect for exploring the Netherlands by train. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options to start the day right. The room was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again! Highly recommended!

This was our second stay at Carlton, and it was great. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and silent. The location is fantastic as it's close to Amsterdam but not in the middle of the chaos there. We enjoyed our stay there, and this was my mom's first time in The Netherlands and staying in the Carlton was a really nice experience for her, she also loved it.

The location is not the best one as not much around but the bus to the Centre if Utrecht is perfect served. the atmosphere is really nice, i liked a lot the reception and restaurant area, very cosy and well decorated. The hotel was very clean. The rain shower was excellent and generously sized – easy to step in and out of. The mirror didn’t fog up, so you could use it right after showering. The room was spacious enough and included a small refrigerator. At night, it was very quiet with no noise from the street. Breakfast was a real highlight! We’re vegan and found plenty of options like soy milk, vegan cheese, margarine, and more. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Although the hotel has 4 stars, it wasn’t more expensive than a 3-star hotel. I would definitely choose it again without hesitation.

Excellent breakfast with a lot of variety. Extended duration, too! We woke up pretty late and still managed to have a nice breakfast with no rush.

I had a great time in NH Utrecht. The hotel looked modern, both in terms of the rooms and the overall facilities. The halls before reaching your room, for example, were quite pleasant. The staff were friendly and helped us with every request (special shoutout to Francisco in the reception). The rooms were clean, spacious, and pleasant to be in. The location was great, right outside of the train station. We were offered candy, fruit, water, and tea at the reception whenever we wanted. We were also given a free drink for every day we chose not to have our room cleaned. Wi-fi was fast and reliable. There was a kettle and free tea in the room. The bathroom was clean and fully equipped with a nice shower (two different shower heads), a hair dryer, soap, body wash, and shampoo… I really could go on and on. NH really knocked it out of the park.

Staff - friendly, really helpful and just generally made the hotel have a great atmosphere. A few really nice unexpected things eg they brought my son out colouring pencils and paper when he was at breakfast.. Every single member of staff we interacted with was enthusiastic, helpful and had a smile on their face. The breakfast was brilliant with good quality ingredients and a wide range of options. The place was spotlessly clean, super comfy and I slept great.

The staff here are excellent and very welcoming. I arrived before check-in and was able to leave my suitcases, and could do the same after check-out when my travel wasn’t for a few hours. The location is right in the centre of the city, making it very convenient for all destinations. The rooms are clean and comfortable, equipped with all the amenities which one would expect (the WiFi was especially good). Breakfast is served with a large window of time, and was well equipped - the lovely lady overseeing it was always there to offer more coffee or conversation.

The hotel is located in the market square, with an exceptional window view, and with lots of attractions within a few minutes walk. The room had everything I needed - an electric kettle, tv, wi-fi, hairdryer, towels, toiletries and a shower. Besides the main view window, the room had also two windows with a "wall view" which added extra light to the room and bathroom. The rooms had access from the reception/ breakfast place or from the second door with 24h access. There was also a market with food, clothes and flowers so it's worth checking the days in case you don't want the additional crowd.

Room 1 was very spacious. The aircon, kettle and mini fridge were a blessing. Large wardrobe with extra storage space, a desk and good lighting. The bed was comfortable. The location is pretty, right on a square with lots of restaurants and bars. Of course this also means there will be noise until late at night (except Sunday). I hadn't researched the area much but the free ear plugs on the bed said enough! The windows are single paned so you WILL hear noise. The city centre is just around the corner and the quieter, greener area starts on the other side of the square. There are enough food options and shops nearby, though for the nearest supermarkets you'll have to walk a little. The breakfast/check-in area looked amazing. Unfortunately it was a greenhouse with its glass panes during a heatwave. Much respect to the staff who were clearly suffering but still managed to be polite and cheerful!

i needed to Hotel close to the Station and main town. This Hotel ticks all the boxes, 5 min walk from the mains staion its located in a big shopping centre, and minutes walk from the main city. Checkin was so quick, my room was on the 4th floor, the view was over the shopping centre. It was very clean and fresh smelling, it had a tv with UK channels which sometimes helps, if you stuck in one night. Breakfast is a buffet option and its on the 3rd floor, it can get busy between 8 & 9 so allow extra time if needed, My sleep was perfect nice and quiet, and the hotel staff as so freindly. A nice location and one i will use agan in the future.

I was very impressed with the hotel, considering the low cost of rooms. Location wise it was not perfect with nothing much within walking distance, but by car it was equally between two destinations I was visiting. The breakfast buffet was a little lacking in variety considering the relatively high price, and hence I took this on only one of my two nights. I think they made a charge for extra coffee pods (if required), which does not seem to be a good point. Having arrived late in the evening, I removed the coffee from sight, so as I made sure I did not run out. This would be a consideration if two people were sharing the room Two single beds, but no serious option to put a space between them. Also, the mattress had a tendency to slide away from the base. I would stay again, but under similar conditions - as a base to explore and not a destination in itself.

Well located for travelling between Zeist and Ultrect. The hotel is well maintained, had all the requirements needed, and even a pool for daily use. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing tourist information and answered any questions we had. The breakfast was buffet style and quality produce.

The staff was very friendly, both those on the reception and those on the bar/restaurant. The food and the drinks on the bar were very nice and tasty. Our room was very clean, enaough place to move a big baby buggy around and a couple of spots to store your luggage. The location of the hotel is very nice, close to the bus stops and with a nice view to the Gemeente on the opposite side of the main road.

Comfortable and quiet. In the center of the town, so you can go out without car for a walk or shoping or dinner. The rooms are big enough and clean You have a coffe machine and water bottle. Good restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Nothing wrong there.

I chose this hotel because it was very near to the hospital. The room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. The deco is very unusual but I liked it. I am specially grateful to Enzo, I think this is his name, the italian guy at the restaurant, who was very thoughtful and attentive, and arranged a very special breakfast tray for my daughter, who was unable to go down to the restaurant.

Guests get discounted movies in the attached theatre/cinema! Got to see the latest Mission Impossible before it would have released at home for just 10 euros! Room was advertised "with view" and it was a great view of the local plaza. Room had charm with some movie posters and nice furniture, and the hallways look like something from 1920s hollywood. Beds were clean and comfortable, to the point I can't even recall when I fell asleep. Breakfast was a buffet style with good quality+quantity for the price. Had an absolutely great time for just a single night and I will be returning if I ever need a hotel near Utrecht/Zeist. Booked last minute, so can't quite comment on the price, which wasn't too high regardless. Either way, well worth the money!

The hotel is in a quiet area, so we could relax, although it’s a bit far from the city center. The bathroom was a bit small but clean and functional. Overall, a very comfortable and family-friendly place to stay. we would definitely recommend!

It’s walkable distance from the bus stop and even to the central station. Right near the quiet peaceful neighborhood, Oog in Al and Lombok and my boys (10 and 7) and I especially loved this area because it was safe and had lots of beautiful parks with kids playing. And everything was so clean and the windows were huge and could observe 180° view of Utrecht.

We had a great time at 2LBlend. We booked three rooms for 4 weeks. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you may need. The team at 2LBlend was very kind and was always ready to help with any questions we had. It is a self-check-in/checkout hotel, but you can reach the team on the hotel's WhatsApp nr. And there is always someone from the reception present. It is about 6 -8 min walk to the nearest bus station. But they have a spacious parking lot if you have a car. Bob on reception was amazing, so friendly and managed to get us booked in to our room just after 12.00. He even stopped on his way home (on his bike ) to take a picture for us of us in front of the city gate. We found all the staff to be incredibly friendly but Bob is worth a special mention! Breakfast was a delicious buffet with a wide choice of hot and cold food. The omelette was cooked to order and was delicious.

We felt welcome from the moment we arrived by very helpful and skilful staff. Our room was lovely, spacious and clean, with an excellent ensuite bathroom. The bar was a very pleasant and well run spot in the evening for both beer and coffee. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Will definitely stay here again at this fabulous hotel, which was an easy walk from the centre of Amersfoort.

Review for NH Hammersmith I stayed at this hotel because my colleagues recommended it and made the reservation for me. The breakfast is good with plenty of choice. One minor point, the offer to order a freshly cooked omelette was only available on one morning during my stay. A beautiful setting for an excellent hotel. Our room is spacious and comfortable. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. We returned to this hotel a second time during our holiday and had a delicious meal in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner.

It was a comfortable room, we had a small fridge and other amenities. Breakfast was good and the personal was super friendly. In our first day, we enjoyed the afternoon in the restaurant, enjoying the nice view of the lake and the nice weather. The food at the restaurant it sublime, we had a local ham, edamame and burger. Cocktails were a bit too pricy to be honest, but they were really good, I felt them more expensive than New York. The personal in the restaurant was super super nice, specially a guy from Canarias, one from Finland and the bartender from Netherlands. They helped us also guiding us with the transport system, because the day after we were planning to go to Amsterdam city. For reaching the city, you have to take the bus, that is crossing the street, press the bottom there, so the bus knows that it need to pick you up. You have to download the app 9292 to find the time table and to buy the ticket. the bus will take you to the Arena (it finish there) and then you can take the train or the subway to the center. Regarding the parking at the hotel, they have the own parking area or if you find space outside, you can leave it there for free. There is also a parking area next to the bus stop for free.

Clean and spacious room. I got a free upgrade to a deluxe room. The staff is helpful and kind. Breakfast buffet was quite diverse and delicious. Hotel is situated a 15 minute drive from Amsterdam, lovely quiet area near the water.

A beautiful hotel in a lovely part of Hilversum. It was wonderful to be greeted with a hand written note on the bed. The room was a very good size with an amazing view and wrap around terrace. Very comfortable bed with lots of pillows. An ample supply of coffee with a proper coffee machine. Breakfast was fantastic, simple but more than enough. I ordered a fresh pancake with fruit which was lovely. The staff were simply amazing, engaging and making sure everything was as expected and more.

We spent 2 nights and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Upon arrival, we received welcome drinks and later also food recommendations. The room was spacious and clean, equipped with a coffee maker and TV. There was a nice view from the window. The hotel staff was always very friendly and helpful. We also rented bicycles to go for a ride to a nearby nature area (Loosdrecht) - highly recommended! ;) Of course, since it was October, we didn't swim there, but I imagine it must also be pretty amazing to do that in the summer.

We chose the Grand Gooliland Hotel because its location was perfect for our trip. With a friend living within walking distance and the town's amenities nearby, it was the ideal base for our plans. The room was spacious, well-furnished, and quiet. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. For the first time I went on a solo trip and stayed at the Hilton Royal Parc. The place was very much accessible not only by car but also by public transportation. The room was modern, spacious and clean. Breakfast choices was okay and the staff were attentive. Dinner in the hotel was also good. I enjoyed the food and drinks. I especially admire the service that Francis and Jasmine gave. They were very welcoming, friendly and professional. I enjoyed my stay there and will surely be back together with my kids.

Super 1990'ish modern hotel set in the lovely wooded countryside about 20 minutes drive from Utrecht - a haven of peace and tranquillity after the humdrum of the big city ! Plentiful secure outdoor parking - our room was large and very comfortable and well equipped - we didn't use the leisure facilities, but they looked great - the hotel was spotlessly clean throughout - we ate in the bar both nights of our stay and the food was of a very acceptable standard and moderately priced - the staff were very friendly, efficient and extremely professional. One member of staff proved to be exceptional, her name is Danielle - she went out of her way to ensure that our theatre booking in Utrecht was ok and even organised a reduced price parking for us in the city - she did not need to do this, but she did as she is obviously a very lovely, caring person and a credit to the hotel.

We had a really lovely stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Royal Parc Soestduinen. The beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive without ever being overbearing, which made for a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere throughout our 4-night stay. One of the highlights was definitely the wellness area. Both the pool and sauna were clean, well-maintained, and ideal for unwinding after a day out. The breakfast spread was also impressive and the kids sure loved it.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Quiet and peaceful at night. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with taxi service information.

We loved all the facilities that are provided by the hotel. The rooms are quite big and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant at the hotel provides you with many choices for dinner and the breakfast is amazing with lots of choices. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the SPA. It is an amazing place for weekend relaxation.

What a gem! Just off the main route to Utrecht, you'd think on first view that this was a typical Motel. You'd be wrong! The communal restaurant space is eclectic and rustic, staff very friendly. The room was paired back of boho and industrial, tasteful and practical. Lovely bathroom, outdoor space looking out on to the river, beyond a field of Horses- we were even visited by some Chickens! The beds comfy, very clean space. Dog friendly, easy free parking. Breakfast overlooking the water was also a lovely treat! Would definitely recommend as a perfect stop off for those travelling to The Netherlands and beyond.

The Staff was very friendly. The location is remote, but you're 10 mins from the city. The view from the Restaurant & from the rooms was exceptional, a small stream, some birds, horses. The restaurant area looked very nice, the view was calming and they had some good food.

This hotel is in the middle of nature, your bedroom, terasse and the breakfast terasse is right by a canal and overlooks a field with horses. It was incredibly peaceful, lots of birdsong, ducks and fresh air. The rooms are clean, cosy, the beds are comfortable. Delicious food in the restaurant and yummie breakfast.

With a clean and comfortable room (with an amazing shower), view of wild horses out the window, very pleasant service and a great evening and breakfast meals, this ranks amongst my best hotels I have stayed in.

We stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip and were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The staff were very accommodating for requests such as booking taxis for us. The rooms were spacious with everything you'd need, comfortable beds and very clean facilities. The bar and restaurant area is good with plenty of spaces to work and relax, food was tasty and reasonably priced too. There is a nice pool area but the gym was tiny with no air-con which was the only flaw. There is also nowhere in the vicinity such as shops etc, this area seems to just be industrial so make sure you bring everything you need. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Tea kettle, coffee maker and some tea/coffee options are available right in the room and are refreshed during room service, no need to go anywhere just for some tea. Tap water is clean enough to use it for the kettle. It's a 10-minute more or less straight walk from the hotel to the central train station. Even though the hotel has "Media Park" in the title, the central station seems much more convenient to use: a bit closer and all trains available for Hilversum stop there. Central square is 7-10 minutes away.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations. The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk from the station and very close to the city center, making it easy to explore the city and its surroundings. The area is quiet and green, ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-furnished, with plenty of electrical outlets, a kettle with tea and coffee replenished daily, and a safe. The staff is courteous and helpful, and my room was cleaned with great care every day. I will definitely come back!

I am coming since many years to the Amrâth Hotel Media Park in Hilversum. It’s such a nice hotel, small and perfectly made for people who like a private but at the same time very professional hotel. The location is very calm and quiet, beautiful surroundings. We were going into Amsterdam everyday and it was an easy journey by train. The hotel is only a short walk from the local station, Hilversum. From that station (Hilversum) it is a 20-30 min train journey to the central train station in Amsterdam. The hotel had very friendly staff, very clean, and the beds were comfortable too. Very strongly recommend. The area is also very green and pretty, especially in the autumn with all of the colours. The hotel is placed in a beautiful area in the middle of the woods in a nice tiny village. The number of rooms is limited the garden around the hotel is large, welcoming the guests for a coffee or dinner and well maintained. My room was large, nicely decorated, with big windows and comfortable with a big bathroom. Breakfast is great despite not a buffet Dinner was very tasty.

The rooms don’t get cleaned daily, you can request this but pointless if you’re only sleeping in them. You can request clean towels and toilet roll from reception if needed. There is no kettle or beverage making facilities in the room, this was a real drawback for me as I like a cuppa before bed and first thing, you can buy from reception (&free at breakfast). Also my shower was pathetic. One final negative was the family of rats in the bush outside-not uncommon anywhere I appreciate. Also worthy to note is the lack of facilities near by, no cafes restaurants or shops, just a petrol station over the road.

Very friendly & helpful personel, they made me, my mom and friend feel very welcomed, the staff was just super friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the location is also really good (close to trainstation). I had my dog with me and the area is just perfect for dog walks.

Stayed for one night. We booked this hotel mainly because of the off street car park as we were travelling in old classic minis. Check in was efficient with friendly staff. Our room overlooked a main road but we had a good nights sleep. Room was clean with a decent shower, shower gel and shampoo supplied. Couldn’t get the WiFi to work anywhere in the hotel. Had a couple of beers and snacks in the bar just off reception before walking into Utrecht, probably took around 15-20 mins which we didn’t mind as we do a lot of walking anyway. Would definitely stay again.

A little off the beaten path, but this what makes it so appealing. Bicycle friendly, and quiet hotel for those seek these qualities. Just for those who care, it is a basic hotel room. You won’t find clock radios, bar fridge or irons in your room. I don’t need those things so it was perfect. Super friendly staff and great breakfasts. When I come back to Utrecht, this will be the hotel I choose again.

We stayed for four nights which is longer than an average stay in Amersfoort. We had expected to take a day trip to Utrecht but in the end there was too much to do in the old town. This hotel is in a great spot for sitting and joining in with the crowd in the main tower square for evening drinks. It is a very good situation to the rest of the town's beautiful buildings to wander around . The room was very comfortable for the price and had a fridge, which is often unusual in budget hotels. There was renovation in other rooms, but this didn't affect us . A very comfortable and enjoyable stay

But its fine if you spend your time exploring the surroundings for example on bike or hiking.

Plenty of choice at the breakfast and well located at the main hall. Plenty of tables. Great staff at the reception and restaurant & bar.

Step out of the hotel and you are surrounded by the streets, shops and cafes of Utrecht. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very smart and comfortable and everywhere was beautifully clean. The curtains are the best anywhere for blocking out light so you sleep well. The room was quiet because we were at the back (this did mean no view but was ok as we were just staying overnight). I really wish I could have stayed longer.

We had had a long day of driving and it was lovely to come to this quiet spot with a big comfortable room with tea/coffee station. We were able to book breakfast and evening meal when we checked in.staff were professional, efficient and friendly.nice to eat in the hotel after a long day, and we didn't have to go out and find somewhere to eat. We are vegetarians and I am also gluten free and they easily accommodated our dietary requirements. Well done guys!

I booked this hotel for my mum and me and it has been perfect for our needs . It is in a very quiet area close by the lake, we stayed at the end of March so I think the hotel will be much more busy during the high seasons in special way considering its position close by the lake . The room was very big with comfortable beds, it had table and chairs so that you can sit somewhere else and not just on the bed and it had a nice bathroom with a large shower . The hotel has restaurant and a nice deck on the lake . We stayed one night than we back for more days . Rapport quality/price very good considering most of the hotel around this area . Friendly staff . Definitely you need a car to move around the area .

Single beds were a bit uncomfortable. Two hallway lights were not working and I reported it the first day . They were never replaced after my 5 night stay. Nice breakfast , but a bit expensive. Housekeeping came before 12 on two days , and was told to come back later . Went out by 1 pm , but room was unmade when I returned. Otherwise, a nice stay in comfortable, safe area.

The location is perfect, with a bus stop right around the corner. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

It was a perfect hotel for one night in Utrecht. Very convenient by bus from the central station and historical centre. Comfortable room and the staff were nice and friendly.

The location was about 25 minutes walk from Utrecht Central. But along the way to this hotel, there is plenty of lively food and pub options. Halfway through the distance to this hotel, it quietens down considerably. But still there is a large Jumbo and Albert Heijn which are both large supermarkets where you can any grocery. The hotel itself is cosy and lovely. I got a twin room and it was large, super clean and everything worked and was suffient for my 2 night stay. My family and I loved this place. The heating working great too and there was a window which you could open for fresh air. It also overlooked a small garden and you can see part of a small canal running through the back of the hotel. Clear instructions related to our stay was printed out onto a piece of paper and handed to us together with our room key.

The hotel is situated in the middle of two lovely restaurants with a horse stable and riding school behind it. When you arrive in the afternoon, you can watch the children taking their riding lessons from the lobby or the back porch area of the hotel as you sip a hot drink of your choice that you have made in the lobby (which you will pay for). The lobby has great sliding doors, which are usually open during the day, letting in a gentle breeze. In the early evening travelers and business colleagues meet for dinner and drinks at the restaurant next to the hotel in their outdoor seating areas lit by lantern and fire. Maybe you would like to see the Oudegracht, so you rent one of the bikes provided by the hotel, that are in excellent repair, for 16 euro/day. You make the short journey into town and enjoy a delicious dinner at the many nearby restaurants. When you return, you are greeted by helpful and friendly hotel staff that will answer any of your questions. Your room has a modern feel with cement floors and streamlined furniture. The bed is comfortable with a pillowy duvet cover. The next day you will enjoy a fantastic breakfast, especially on the weekends, with croissants, pastry, bread, meat, cheeses, fruit, vegetable, juice, cereal, yogurt, and most hot drinks (no hot chocolate). When you return from exploring that day, you will find your room has been straightened and bed made. We loved our stay and definitely recommend it to you.

Was limited by availability at a reasonable price and so tried the Star Lodge. It is outside the town centre (2.5km) but it is served by an excellent bus route (6 routes pass in front of hotel). Takes only 5 mins on the bus and wait time is usually no more than a few minutes. If you have a car then there is a good sized parking area for 6.5 Euro a day (beware of what a hotel can charge per day for parking). The first thing you notice is that there is a riding school and stables next door. In fact our room overlooked it. The hotel does not have a restaurant other than what is used for breakfast. But adjacent to the hotel is a bar/restaurant called Loft 88. There is a self service bar which uses a system where you load credit onto to your room key (you may want to ask how you get any unused credit back when you check out). That said the bar has a small seating area in the lobby area but fine if you want to get a drink to take to your room. Hotel is on 2 floors but there is no elevator. Room is compact with a sort of open plan bathroom and minimal storage. But beds were really comfy. TV with English language channels including BBC1 and BBC2. Technology failed a bit as room key and parking ticket both failed on different occasions in a 2 day stay and needed to be replaced and re-validated. Very quiet both from internal and external noise. Breakfast satisfactory but could have been quicker to replenish items. Super fast WiFi

I was a bit worried about what I would find in this hotel.... And I was pleasantly surprised!... The hotel location is perfect as the best way to discover Utrecht isn't by car (we were drive ins around Netherlands)... You take a bust in front o father hotel and in 5 minutes you are enjoying the narrow streets of this beautiful town. This hotel is like a perfect lodge, high ceilings, type of loft rooms, very new and very comfortable equipped with the essentials for a nice stay... This isn't a 5 star hotel but I was even happier with their quality than with other hotels which promise to be top star and they aren't!. The room is spotless, the reception decor is lodge style as well the rooms and the breakfast... Was basic but fresh, with delicious croissants and great cappuccino... The service was laid back and straightforward without the posh of a five star but who needs that when you will be only using your room to sleep. The bed was very comfortable and all rest of amenities in the room were just I was looking forward for a nice and relaxing evening after a long drive. The employees are very genuine on their service standards and I was very happy overall with this property... I will definitely be back!.

Great hotel, very clean, excellent service. Staff goes out of their way to make you happy. The guys and girls behind the desk are really friendly. We had to leave before the start of breakfast (which is free!) because of an early flight home. After telling the front desk staff about this, they arranged that the night staff would unlock the breakfast area early, so we were able to sit down and have a nice hot cup of coffee and some breakfast cake before leaving for the airport. It really made a difference. Location is fantastic if you have a car. It's close to major roads, very easy to get into the city, but at the edge of a park, so it's quiet at night. There were only two towels in the room, but the front desk was more than happy to give us a few more. The parking lot is shared with the restaurant next door, but they'll keep enough open spaces for hotel guests, so it's never a problem. The free WiFi works great, it's not the fastest on the planet, but it's not slow by any means. You can easily browse the web, check your email and facetime with friends.

Star Lodge is a little way out of the centre of Utrecht but is conveniently located close to a bus line which takes you into the centre in a few minutes. The rooms are relatively basic but are large, clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful, although they did forget to tell us about the honesty bar until we were about to leave. Breakfast is a continental buffet style with a wide range of products and made the overall package great value for money. Utrecht itself is well worth a visit with lots of interesting architecture and plentiful bars and restaurants along the canals and in the squares.

Room was spacious and very comfortable for 3 people. Room had a really good coffee maker as well and kettle. Some great dining options (Turkish/Middle Eastern food) on the same road as the hotel.

Excellent rooms/mini apartments with all you need to both feel at home and work. Very cozy and homey with well considered design details making the space warm and welcoming. A home away from home. Bed excellent, didn’t want to leave it, and the shower as good as it gets. Very happy I found The Anthony as it is now my first choice for Utrecht. Reception/staff very friendly and professional. They will be fully up and running with restaurant etc early next year, I’m looking forward to next time.

Pros: Staff seemed friendly. Breakfast was good with fresh eggs made to order and nice selection. Free drink at check in. 15 minute walk from train station pretty easy and clear to walk. Wifi was good. Cons: Bathroom needs work as water from shower did not drain fast and there was nothing to stop the water from pooling all over the bathroom floor. Toilet was in separate room with tiny washbasin. No TV channels available. Was only able to watch youtube on TV. Stairs to second floor bedroom was a bit steep. Very quiet at nighttime and took cabs to go to city center and back due to lack of public transportation in area and no desire to bike.

Cannot complain about the hotel / staff and an outstanding breakfast. it was quiet, clean and close to the city central area and unique been a converted convent. The rooms are really lacking a few features: Nowhere to use a laptop, the table was so small, nowhere to dry cloths, really small cups, but provided a coffee pod machine, cables to TV were so ugly just hanging out of the wall. The comfortable bed was placed far to close to the curtains making it hard get in and out of. It would not take much to lift the rooms.

This hotel was very nice, great location in Utrecht. Nice tall ceilings which feels nice in a hotel room. There was shampoo and towels which was appreciated, and coffee in the room. I'm not sure the sheets were fresh and clean, but otherwise no complaints. We checked in late (1030pm or 2230) and the bar/restaurant was closed so that was a bummer.

Hotel location is very convenient, near the highway between Antwerp & Amsterdam. Plenty of car park spaces, yet the rooms are quiet enough, so no disturbances. Very good food in the restaurant too, both for dinner and breakfast.

From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding and the staff incredibly friendly, creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Breakfast was generous, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The staff were always smiling and ready to help, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Well situated for visiting the area. Hotel well appointed. The bedrooms are spacious and well fitted with all you need, beds very comfortable and all the area very clean. The restaurant is excellent , the staff well trained and efficient also helpful and courteous. One lady was a credit to the restaurant and the hotel called Aimee. The receptionists very accommodating we had the room which we had on a previous visit so we were very pleased. We look forward to our return to this hotel as soon as possible

After reading quite a few negative reviews, I was a bit apprehensive about booking — but I’m so glad I did! The hotel completely exceeded my expectations. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from both the bus and tram stops, making it really convenient to get into the city centre. The room itself was spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed. The air conditioning worked brilliantly, especially helpful in the summer heat, and the beds were super comfy. The pillows were a bit large for my preference, but still perfectly manageable. We had access to great shower facilities, a large smart TV, and reliable Wi-Fi — all of which made our stay even more comfortable. The only slight downside was a faint smell in the hallway, but thankfully this didn’t carry into the room at all. Overall, a really good experience and I would happily return again.

We stayed twice on our visit to Utrecht. Once w/o breakfast and once with. The breakfast was very good. The eggs were fresh cooked and there was a good variety of food, nice breakfast sandwich selection, too. The room was nice, mostly clean with a few icky spots on the walls. Bathroom doors were heavy and couldn't be left open. Easy walk to get to tram. Nice place to stay!

The location is very good, since there are bus & tram stops very close to the hotel. This made getting to the Utrecht central station very easy. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was nice and clean, though not very spacious.

We had everything we needed in the room for a one night on the way to Amsterdam. Price was the deciding factor - Comparing to other prices, this was a super value with 2-digit euros for a night - nice shower, fan, big bed, spacious room. Relatively quiet in the room, considering it is next to the tram trails and 4 track motorway.

Lovely room very clean . The area near lift was not cleaned and sweets on floor . Very convenient location . Staff were very helpful.
