It's a basic hotel so if you don't have crazy expectations you'll be happy with it. The room wasn't huge but it has a big cupboard and a desk and the bathroom is really big. Just maybe clean a little better behind some corners. The breakfast was included in the room and even though it is also very average it is a good additional value especially because around there we haven't seen any place for a quick bite, so it's good to have something to eat before you go out. The staff was polite and attentive more than I expected them to be in a remote place with people probably not so used to foreigners. A bit far from valkenburg the place we wanted to visit but there's transport or you can walk it in half an hour. Overall a solid 8 maybe I wouldn't come back just because I'd try to book something closer to valkenburg next time but if you need to be around there go for it. Only be mindful there's no staff overnight even though you are provided with an emergency number in case something happens. We were there just one night and it was quite peaceful with nothing to complain about.

The breakfast was very good, but it is better to go in the beginning of the service to get everything fresh and all the options. The beds were comfortable and the room was very silent during the night. The elevator was out of order, and because we got the room on the 3rd floor this was a little annoying. The shower cleaning should be improved.Overall a good experience for the price and location.

Location, beautiful, friendly and fast service and check in, very spacious room, very quiet neighbourhood and surroundings. Nice bathroom with tub, updated flat screen tv in rooms and living room.

The room was luxurious, clean and very well styled.. we really enjoyed the jacuzzi in the room. We explored Valkenburg by foot because everything was in walking distance from the B&B. The contact with the host made the accommodation feel extra safe and comfortable. Also enjoyed the breakfast, which was super. I'd definitely visit again!

By far the best B&B/Hotel I have stopped at in my 56 years, Birgit and Hugo are by far the most friendly, attentive and professional hosts you could wish for, from our arrival (2 hours early) to the day we left they could not do enough for us. received a full brief from Birgit on what the town had to offer, best places to eat, shops, facilities in the town etc. then shown to our room. The room was very well appointed, exceptionally clean with modern en-suite, very comfy bed and pillows and refreshments. Breakfast was continental with plenty of choice with eggs and bacon also available cooked to order. We left very early on our last day and Birgit even did us a breakfast pack up to take with us so we had something for the trip to Calais (she even asked us to send a message to let her know we had got home safe)

The owner was fantastic and made us feel very welcome! The room was spacious, clean and very cosy. Bed was comfortable. The rain shower is really nice. Location is great with an easy 10 minute walk to the city centre. The hotel is located on a quiet, residential road. There is parking onsite. Hiking trails and the Shimano Experience are reached within a few minutes on foot. The breakfast was extensive and delicious. The quality of the items were high and it was obvious that a lot of thought and effort had been put in to it by the owner. Coffee and snacks are offered throughout the day, as well as chilled water bottles. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Valkenburg!

Beautiful house in Valkenburg, walking distance from city centre. Birgit is very charming and attentive. She welcomes you with coffees and pie! Beautiful modern large room, with very comfy bed, and great shower. Free waters, coffees and teas with sweets during the day. Breakfast is delicious with home cooked choice of eggs, different fresh bread, fresh cut fruit salads and more.

Perfect beds, very nice host. The place looks brand new and is very clean. The view from the room we had was a castle, so it gives a nice holiday vibe. After a 2 minute walk you're in the city center. The hotel itself is quiet and well isolated (no noise from the street).

Brand new hotel, very good location, very good breakfast, coffee available all day long, excellent service, very friendly staff, quite hotel, excellent that i had access to the terrace.

The location is perfect, and love the views. The spa bathtub was just what I needed after a long day of site-seeing so I'm very glad that I chose this room. The next morning I was offered a cup of coffee with a pastry before I checked out, which was a nice touch.

Expecting a 1 bedroom apartment - getting a house. Very nice living room with views over the Golf course - and it seem even to Belgium. Kitchen very well equipped with everything but salt and pepper. The beds were super for those who appreciate very soft beds as was the jacuzzi and sauna. Unfortunately the sauna was needed during the nights as we only were offered summer quilts. The fancy hotel lowered the temperature during the night to 16C and we were freezing big time. The next night we took additional quilts from one of the other 3 bedrooms to keep warm. Why the bedrooms have to be warm during the day and cold during the nights is a big mystery. No matter what - very positive- and one of the best places ever stayed at!!!

This is one of the best places & area with easy access to some amazing places in Netherlands, Germany and Belgium within 60-90min drive. We stayed in a house which was clean, comfortable and with modern design. The property has everything, allowing to buy food in the local supermarkets and cook, which is super handy if travelling with kids (meaning the chances to go to restaurants for dinner aren’t great). There is also swimming pool for kids and adults, free to guests. It’s not that big, but new, modern design and panoramic walls into the woods. Several playgrounds. The place is also great for people with no kids who want to explore Maastricht and the area. It’s short bike ride to the town center.

Superb holiday village. The cottages are comfortable and well equipped. Over 5 playground, swimming pool, local shop, pub, restaurant and fast food. The kitchen is very practical for those with kids, or love cooking. Close access to nearby local supermarkets e.g. Jumbo. In addition, Carrefour in Belgium is only 20 min drive. There is plenty of activities and amazing places within 90 min drive in Maastricht and the area, Germany, Belgium, from the caves in Valkenburg, Discovery Museium, to mountains in Monschau, Germany and Castles in Belgium. 2 Aqua Mundo holiday parks within a short drive that offer daily pass. We have been multiple times in different seasons and will certainly return again.

Have stayed here several times, as always everything is great, cozy, clean and comfortable. Convenient that individual parking right next to the house. Especially cozy to sit by the wood fireplace on the first floor. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need.

We got all the good basic facilities with well maintained, The surrounding countryside atmosphere was great, fresh bakery every mornings, flexible staff at reception, snack bar and restaurant, dynamic and positive young waiter at restaurant

The property itself is just beautiful - breathtaking in fact. Our room was huge with 2 bathrooms, 4 showers, jacuzzi bath and Sauna. The bed was super comfortable and we had tea and coffee making facilities in the room ( there is also a safe in the room) - if helpful this was room 31, one of the Sauna Suites.

The location was excellent, close enough to Maastricht city centre but in another world of peacefulness and nature. The old castle has been beautifully renovated and the park around it is really nice. Rooms are comfortable with modern appliances. Breakfast was very good, although the standard breakfast tray is not as flexible as a normal buffet style breakfast, and probably leads to more wasted food, but I guess there is an educational reason for this choice. The young staff was very friendly and helpful, the whole concept of this teaching hotel is great.

We loved it all! The staff (students) are amazing, so welcoming and friendly. The rooms were very clean and an incredibly comfortable bed. The restaurant on site is very very good, the food was really amazing. Top flavours and presentation. And lovely service and great wines! We will definitely be back :) can’t wait!

Absolutely phenomenal! This used to be a castle and you can feel this throughout your stay! coupled with exceptional service, (the students are amazing!) the atmosphere is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and impeccably clean, the beds are soooo comfortable. The bathroom was HUGE and had a double side by side tub! like staying at a spa… (plus they use Rituals soap which is amazing!) This place is a MUST stay if you’re in Maastricht! I would love to come back!!!!!! A++++++!!!!!

What a beautiful property with immaculate park like surroundings for walking. Convenient location with parking for a car. Excellent service from the reception desk -staff very helpful and friendly. Room was bright and beautifully appointed with the bonus of 2 baths in the bathroom. Tea and coffee facilities very good! Highly recommended! The dinner on the last night was delicious with great personal service from students that are passionate about their role serving customers. A great experience!

It’s incredible to stay in such a beautiful place. The character of the building, but not only! You can tell the owners put their heart into making this place as comfortable as possible for visitors. Not just a place to stay the night, but to take a break and rest. We were able to walk around the beautiful property, discover hidden treasures in the brocante and really feel at home away from home! Bonus? Never have we had such a delicious breakfast, prepared with love by the lovely owners!

The property was quirky, very well decorated and very clean. It was a nice quiet location with a pub opposite and take away nearby. The hosts were very hospitable and went above and beyond in making our stay a very enjoyable one

Aan de Cauberg is a well laid out, clean, comfortable apartment. Included a washing machine which is useful when you are on a long vacation. The hostess was friendly and helpful. The place is about a 15 minute walk from the train station. Conveniently located for a variety of restaurants in the quaint town square of Valkenburg. We were there for the Pinkpop festival and the experience was memorable.

Host was super welcoming and friendly and set the tone for our stay really nicely. She was very thoughtful and went the extra mile to ensure we were comfy. Room was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. Good value for money and great location in the center of town.

We felt at home. The place was clean and cozy. The host were always willing to help and make us feel comfortable. I totally recommended. I will be back soon.

This stay was a relaxing week with which to end our trip as a family with one 3-year-old. Tinka, our host, was warm, kind and responsive throughout our stay from beginning to end. We had all we needed for the whole stay. We loved the rustic nature of the rooms, it truly felt like we were part of the city and the landscape. There are a million things to do throughout Valkenburg, and compared to our other stays in the Netherlands it felt like merely a local destination, free of tourist traps and the like. We could easily stay a month here and never run out of interest in the immediate area. We didn't even make it to Maastricht, though we took a day trip to Liege (note for anyone travelling to Belgium - do NOT "tap in" on the Netherlands side like usual: buy a ticket for the cross-border trip instead). In all, we loved this place and it was a fitting and relaxing way to end our 3 weeks of Europe adventuring!

Upon check in, we were warmly greeted by Coen, our host, and a glass of rosé. He showed us our huge top floor room complete with a full modern kitchen and private bathroom. An extra large bed as well as a deep 2 person bathtub were in this handsomely decorated garden view room. A thoughtful combination of the restored 300 year old farmhouse and upscale modern conveniences were a sensory delight! The high quality linens combined with a cloud-like mattress made our sleep extra comfortable and rejuvenating. We were able to choose our breakfast time and were met by a picture perfect arrangement in the large eat in kitchen. A wonderful assortment of breads, cheeses, meats and fruit were available. Also, homemade grape jam from the grapes grown on the property ! Coen offered us tea, juice, coffee or cappuccino to drink. It seems generations at Hoeve Berghof have definitely understood and exemplify hospitality !! Ask about the wartime history for some interesting stories. We shall return. Many thanks to Coen.

We stayed at Hoeve Berghof for one night while travelling across Europe as it is conveniently close to the motorway. The property is a stunning period building that has been beautifully refurbished to modern standards. Our host was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The town centre is a short drive away and there are loads of restaurants to choose from for dinner. The bed was so comfortable and the bedroom had a very quiet air conditioning unit which helped us to sleep so well during the hottest part of the year. Breakfast was generous and delicious and we had the option to eat out in the courtyard.

Hoeve Berghof is a wonderful, converted old farmhouse with a lot of character just outside Heerlen. The hotel is located close (but not too close) to the ring road around Hoensbroek, Brunssum, Landgraaf and Heerlen which makes it very convenient if you're driving. There's also free parking. It's also a 10 minute walk to the Hoensbroek station. Coen is a really kind and friendly host who grew up here. He has lots of nice tips on what to do in and around town and the area. He also makes a great continental breakfast (cheese, cold cuts, yogurt, fruit) and gets you started off with some coffee. He does wake up calls and he is very conscientious. He really makes you feel at home. Best host and accommodation in this area! But there are only a few rooms so if you get the chance - book now :) I flew in for work and was here for 5 days and 4 nights, there's also a little table for working inside and a cozy outdoor patio when it's nice. There are some teas and a small coffee machine in the room as well. It is very calm and peaceful - ideal if you have a big meeting or you just need some rest. It's also close to downtown Heerlen (6 min drive), Valkenburg (18 min), Aachen (20 mins) or Maastricht (30 mins).

Beautiful, authentic and peaceful location with a spacious and comfortable room. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was tasty.

The property was full of character and tastefully decorated in keeping with its original use as a stables. The rustic feel was continued throughout. Our bedroom and bathroom was open plan and incredibly comfortable. we wish we could have stayed longer. Our host, Coen, rang us beforehand and asked about our dietary requirements for breakfast. His attention to detail was exemplary throughout our stay. My only reluctance in writing this review is that he might be fully booked when we next want to stay! The breakfast was really tasty with everything we wanted. I especially liked the almond cakes and homemade jam. Everything about our stay was perfect. I have listed our property as a favourite and we will be back.

Beautiful location with a friendly and professional "onthaal" incl. a short tour of the facilities. The porter takes your luggage to the room and valet parking. All facilities incl. full functional wellness are spotless and top notch. Two excellent in-house restaurants to choose from. Breakfast was one of the best we had in a life of int. traveling.

We had a superb stay in the hotel, which is located in very quiet surroundings. The hotel, lobby, restaurant and rooms are beautifully decorated and offer a relaxing atmosphere. I particularly loved the plants and glass roof in the restaurant, giving it a bit the feeling of a rainforest refuge. The rooms are very spacious.

The room was spacious, mattress and pillows very comfortable… restaurants and service amazing! They offer me gluten free bread for breakfast which was really good and not easy to find in hotels , thank you to the people on the breakfast section !!! Staff in general very friendly and helpful.

Despite its modern architecture, the hotel is warm, welcoming and charming. The rooms are really soundproof and our suite was spacious. The bed is immense and very comfortable. The bathroom was large and well equipped. The breakfast offered a large choice of fresh products and the breakfast room is very well designed and cozy.

The breakfast buffet was amaing and full of fresh and healthy food. Absolutely delicious. We also had dinner at their restaurant located on the other side of the road and it was also fabulous and full of really great staff. The view from this restaurant is a 12++++.

Breakfast was very good, large choice and well presented and the breakfast room was very pleasant with lots of light. Very comfortable bed. spacious bedroom and very practical bathroom with separate WC and double lavabo. Also very quiet as there are only 4 rooms per floor and there is no corridor, so there is no noise from guests coming and going. The staff was very helpful, fluent in English.

Our room was on a top floor with a terrace. Maastricht is such a delightful fairytale looking city and the views from our terrace over looked the church next door. As mentioned before, it is a very unique property, but definitely would stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

Loved our stay at the Maison Haas Hustinx. Booked a Standard Triple Room, 2 Bedrooms, with Terrace just for a bit more room. The terrace had an incredible view St. John's church and the cathedral next to it. The hotel provided great directions to follow to get into the inner-city which is more of a pedestrian zone. The hotel offers a discount for parking nearby, but chose the parking lot across the street that was about 10 euros more just because that was so convenient. The bed was super comfortable, like sleeping in a cloud. Great ammenities and furnishings.

This hotel was beautiful and clean. Amenities were amazing. Spa was to die for and the spa services we received (massages, facial) were wonderful and relaxing. The staff was very kind and helpful. Location could not have been better! You walk out of the hotel and are immediately surrounded by shops and restaurants.

The bar/restaurant Puccini seems to have some great cocktails, I really enjoyed the Mai Tai. There are actually 2 restaurants but we did not eat there. The breakfast was tasty. I specifically liked the carrot and apple cake. At approximately 10 minute driving distance of the parking of Terhills / Elaisa wellness where we spent the day. It was raining the day we left and the staff was so friendly to suggest us to use the hotel's umbrellas while bringing luggage to the car.

Easy to reach, on site parking, airco quite powerful, the room was very clean, the bed very comfortable. There was a small balcony adjacent to the room, no view though, but good if you want to have a smoke. Large tv screen, bedroom also spacious and clean. Very modern facility. Breakfast more expensive then average, but very good, both the diversity and quality. Staff very friendly.

This is also where the delicious breakfast buffet is served. The chapel attached to the castle is a magnificent structure. Don't miss seeing it! There is also a wonderful indoor pool in the castle. While the castle houses the dining room and bistro, we found their lunch and dinner menus very limited and very expensive, so we didn't eat at either place, but we did explore them and they were beautiful. We found a lovely hotel restaurant in the village, that served a huge, delicious dinner for a very reasonable price. Strolling the immaculate, extensive grounds with their well laid out gardens and statuary was so calming. We felt like aristocrats at Chateau Saint Gerlach.

We stumbled onto this gem of a hotel, because everything in Aachen was booked for the night. It is a beautiful old country chateau (and formerly a working abbey in earlier centuries), updated to modern standards and operating as a hotel. The room we had was an apartment with 2 bedrooms, excellent for families traveling with children. The grounds for the hotel include broad, beautiful lawns with sculpture throughout, as well as several different rose & formal gardens and walking paths with stunning landscaping. I think they only have 30-some rooms, so it's a very relaxed, quiet vibe even when full. The hotel was very reasonably priced, especially considering the spacious rooms and the high-class experience that comes with a stay here. We slept with the dormer windows open, and awoke to the sound of bells tolling in the nearby town and birds chirping in the gardens. No street noise, no delivery or garbage trucks doing their business all night, just a relaxing stay at a swank resort. It was wonderfully relaxing, and easily worth twice the price. Highly recommended if you want the experience of a stay at an Old European Resort.

We stayed here for the weekend and love the place! Everything is more than we expected. After reading negative reviews about the Senior Suite room, we were surprised that the room we had is beautiful, very specious and comfortable. It’s on the ground floor and having 2 big windows over looking the beautiful garden. Friendly staff and the dinner at the Bistro is a must, it has a nice ambiance. We also tried the pool/ sauna and Turkish bath. The opportunity for the late checkout completes this perfect weekend. It’s a lovely places, recommended!

The hotel was a good deal as the room was spacious and included items in the mini bar. You could also use the spa facilities. However, if your rate doesn't include breakfast, it is 37.50€ per person! We went elsewhere. We treated ourselves to dinner in the Salon. If you like fine dining with matched wines, you will enjoy the experience.

The location of the hotel was perfect for walking around Maastricht. We arrived after ten days of travel. What a pleasure to stay in this local hotel. This is an amazing hotel located in a former monastery and church near the center of Maastricht. It clearly doesn't look like a hotel from the front or sides but the location is easily found using a GPS. The interior has been very tasteful modernized while the exterior and main interior walls retain their original glory. The rooms are large and very comfortable. There is even an elevator. Service is excellent. I arrived quite late -- about 6AM on the morning after my reservation due to some flight issues, and the gentlemen in reception just rushed me to my room saying that the check-in could wait until later in the day. Everyone I encountered was equally helpful and gracious. The restaurant is located on a sort of loft in the middle of what I think was the church. Food was outstanding, and the pace of service is more like a fine dining restaurant than a hotel. Don't plan on a quick lunch or dinner. I would highly recommend this location.

Wonderful hotel and service. Very clean, great concept being in an old church. My one and only concern was that in the morning housekeeping prepared their carts and worked out of the hallway in front of my room. This was distracting, and for an upgraded room i found it odd taht housekeeping did not have an alternative place to work from. I walked out of my door to carts, bags of linens and lots of noise. This was disappointing. On another note the location was great, in walking distance to the entire town, which is just magical. The staff was attentive at the front desk, breakfast, and for cocktails in the bar.

We arrived in Maastricht to see Andre Rieu on Sunday. Arriving at the hotel, you sense that this will be no ordinary hotel experience. You can't help but want explore the cathedral space that is the lobby as the friendly staff leads you to the front desk, it's awe inspiring. Even better than the photos. Staff were never short of being polite and friendly, and will see that you have the utmost enjoyable stay there. This hotel also offers an amazing home style burger with an assortment of desserts for room service, which is perfect when the sky is pouring down onto the cobbled streets below and you have everything you need under the one roof of where you are staying. Fantastic hotel and will advise that if you ever plan to visit Maastricht the once, this is the Hotel to stay at.

The hotel is a charming palace/country house with modern extensions on the sides to provide extra bedrooms. It is surrounded by gated gardens and located on a residential street quite close to main road so good location for travel but still quiet at night. The old part is charming, very spacious with several bigger and smaller reception areas, beautifully furnished and many have marble fire places. Lovely if you want a smaller area just to yourself or are happy to mingle with others. Our room was very spacious with typical hotel chain furniture but much more pleasant than what you would find in the typical Marriott or Westin. Beds were big and comfy. The only small issue was with the bathroom - it was big, had a separate bath and shower cubicle but the latter was rather small and the shower head was not the best positioned. Everything was immaculately clean. The restaurant was very pretty and comfortable, the food was delicious though the menu was short and the prices reasonably high - 10 or 15 Euro for a starter, 25 Euro for a main course and 15 Euro for dessert. The service was very good. Overall we liked our stay very much and want to come back. One bad point – you have to pay for WiFi in the room which is rather unusual these days . The WiFi in public areas free but so bad that it is available only theoretically

I arrived late last night by train and then by bus to Vaals. A Sunday night, it was quiet in town and quite tranquil. An older gentleman from the bus was very kind and directed me a few blocks away to the hotel. When I saw it I was stunned. This castle hotel sits behind iron gates and hedges on a large, rolling green estate. It is a stunning edifice that pulls you back in time to a life of splendor that few had the privilege. Inside it is fully restored and modernized but keeping a chabby chic sort of feel. There are little rooms everywhere with comfy chairs in which to sit and read, have a drink, work on your laptop or have a private conversation. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated with views from every one. Each also has a balcony or patio. There is a great bar off the main lobby and the best restaurant in Vaals with surrounding views while you dine. The building sits on the front of a large estate, so walking around the green, manicured grounds is another delight. Everything here is perfect. If I wanted to be a hotelier, I would study this place to learn how to do things right. I'm very happy that I found this place.

Hotel Kasteel Bloemendal was one of the very best hotels we've ever stayed in. An old convent / monastery it has been painstakingly renovated and modernised. It has such a beautiful blend of both original or traditional decorations, furniture and effects along with more modern ones. It is a tribute to the decorators. The gardens were beautiful - either to just look out on or to wander through or sit in. There are fountains, birds and squirrels. Absolutely lovely. The double comfort room was a good size with a lovely, small balcony over-looking the driveway and gardens. The bathroom was huge with a bath as well as walk-in shower and a separate toilet. The room even had a lovely, old style arm chair. The dining room was immaculately decorated as if from an 19th century ballroom with amazing views over the patio and gardens. It was a pleasure eating in here. The food, too, was exceptional. Both dinner and breakfast served extremely high quality food.

Perhaps the greatest hotel we have stayed at. Everything from the great greeting from Stan at the front desk and his helpful tips, to the incredible bed, to the amazing value, this hotel was amazing! The breakfast was also perhaps the best we have had anywhere, anytime! Staff was friendly, bar was great, and the grounds were phenomenal. We did not eat in the restaurant, but I would assume it is outstanding. I asked Stan where a nice pub was for a drink, and he offered the advice of a little bar on the corner a few blocks away, I think named Kotti--which was awesome--full of locals and really cheap, and really nice bartenders, and they very cordially recommended the Restaurand De Raadskelder, a few blocks away. This was a meal of top five proportions for me--highly recommended. In conclusion, you can't go wrong with this amazing hotel!

Kasteel Bloemendal is a lovely, grand hotel. We're thinking it was some sort of "summer palace" originally -- lovely first level with tall ceilings and grand formal rooms. The gardens must look lovely in the summertime -- hints of what the tulips & roses will look like next month or so. Our room on the 3rd level was lovely -- comfortable bed and nice sitting area. The bathroom was newly remodeled and very clean and modern. Our girls stayed on the lower level in a nice but more simple room -- still very nice room & bath. The dining room overlooks the garden and is a very pleasant space. The day we arrived there was a room off the lobby serving tea (which we didn't have) but then was closed for the rest of our stay -- that was unfortunate as it looked like a lovely spot. The wine bar was less appealing -- a little too "cool/cold" for our taste - hard surfaces & piped in music. We would have preferred the other salon. Dinner was good but expensive. We ate in town the 2nd night and had a better meal. Friendly staff and convenient to Aachen and its cathedral/treasury which were a highlight of our trip. Recommend.

Excellent! We arrived a little early but it was no bother and we were checked in swiftly by a very kind and professional receptionist; she was very helpful too with a great sense of humour. The rooms are very nice, big and clean and the bathroom is big, with a choice of shower heads and a separate bath. The breakfast buffet offers A LOT of options and I was impressed, it would have been perfect if they’d have served vegetarian sausages but that’s me being incredibly picky. Check out was swift plus you can also check out online or leave your keys in a drop box. There is ample parking and the location is very good as you are just off the motorway between Belgium and Germany. We booked directly with them so they offered us a little treat which was super nice. I thoroughly recommend this hotel; the parking, rooms and staff are very, very good!

This hotel is in a perfect location for visiting Maastricht and the surrounding countryside, as it's just a couple of minutes' walk from the train station. Despite this the location is very peaceful. The owners/staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, even writing us a list of things to do in Maastricht. The hotel has a very comfortable, homely feel, and the food in the restaurant far exceeded expectations - we ate there twice in 3 days. Breakfast is also great, with delicious fresh bread, and eggs cooked to order. A few reviews mention neighbour noise, but our room (on the ground floor) was very quiet.

Great location, country’s style hotel, quiet and easily accessible with the car and right next to the treinstation. The room was decent and the beds comfortable. We loved the deck in the restaurant where we could enjoy our breakfast (and dinner) enjoying the sun while looking out over the meadows. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The owners of the hotel made everything possible to make you feel welcomed as a guest. Facility was great, clean, staff very friendly and supportive, simply said, you feel like home. The dinner in the restaurant was also very good, I can recommend to have dinner there at least once.

The hosts were very welcoming and made one feel very welcome. The food was superb and all fresh and locally sourced. The location is very quiet and relaxing.

The hotel itself was wonderful and very classy, elegant in every detail. Big, quiet room and huge bathroom, comfy bed and even Deutz champagne at the breakfast! And the egg Benedictine at the breakfast was maybe the best I've ever had, it was simply perfect. The restaurant was also a nice try, much effort, but the food was unfortunately not as expected. The food was more or less strange to be honest. But wines were exellent and the champagne of course.

Everything was good, the room was great, facilities were great, reception was very friendly and helpful, the grounds were well tended. They even managed to organise nice weather )) Breakfast was cold buffet, but hot meals could be ordered from the menu and they were very good. Staff were always friendly and helpful.

A castle, a moat, set in a beautiful rural setting but minutes from the town, what more could you ask for? The staff were attentive and professional, the atmosphere charming and the accommodation spacious and opulent. The terrace set alongside the duck-filled moat was a relaxing way to unwind after a long day. Bike hire was available from reception which unveiled the myriad cycle paths snaking around the local fields and into Heerlen past the University. I only wished I was there later in the year to witness the crops in full-bloom.

This is probably the best city apartment we have stayed in during all our travels around Europe. It is a beautiful and stylish hotel in an excellent location for exploring the historic heart of Maastricht. There are many restaurants and coffee shops only a very short walk away including the Bisschopsmolen Bakery. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, sharing tips for new visitors to this beautiful city.

A really nice small hotel in a great location, 10 minutes walking distance from Valkenburg centre (with a good choice of cafes and restaurants) and the railway station. Bianca and Martin are excellent hosts and very welcoming. The location is peaceful, with great views from the garden. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice. The hotel is simple, but well-maintained and spotlessly clean. There is everything you might need, and nothing that you don't. We were visiting for a concert in Maastricht; this was an ideal place to stay, as from the station it takes less than 15 minutes to Maastricht Central Station (with connections all over the Netherlands), but without the crowds in the city. Highly recommended

Wonderful stay. Very comfortable room, nicely decorated, and sparkling clean. The included breakfast was a really nice touch. But the best, the hosts. Martin and Bianca were complete stars. It began with the personal call we received days before check-in suggesting us to do our bookings because all restaurants and activities would be booked since it was Christmas weekend. They offered a host of helpful suggestions, had great flexibility around check-in and breakfast (time, allergies...), and the really nice chats that made us feel truly welcome. We will surely be back!

Our stay was exceptional. The communication was great, the host was very kind and helped us with everything. She showed us where to go and what to do. She asked if we have any special needs/request for the breakfast. The room was very cosy and clean. The bed was very comfy. The parking is right across the street and is free of charge.

Valkenburg is a very nice town with many restaurants, cafes and grocery stores. As a tourist, you will probably find everything you need there.

We stayed at the Alex Maastricht because we came to see the Andre Rieu show (which was also amazing) so the location was perfect, as it was close to the station, in a quiet spot with a nice view. The room was lovely - clean, fresh and modern, with a comfy bed and pillows. There were thoughtful extras and a coffee pod machine with brownies as a treat. The dinner was superb! The little touches such as free snacks and delicious bread made us feel spoilt and the food was exceptional. Staff were friendly and attentive and made us feel welcome.

The Alex exceeded our expectations. The staff are super friendly and helpful. After day 1 they recognized us and carried on conversations with us. The meals were delicious- we had breakfast and dinner in the cafe. While their cafe is small (very pleasant outdoor seating too though ), they were able to accommodate about 25 of my work colleagues on short notice for drinks/hors d'oeuvres. The room was clean and great bed/bath; cleaned daily; espresso machine/tea in room. There was a heat wave while we were there but luckily the room had excellent and quiet air conditioning. Only 2 blocks from train station but very quiet. Definitely recommend!

This boutique hotel met our expectations. Very nice, clean room with comfortable bed and good bathroom. it was extremely hot weather when we were there, but luckily they have excellent central air conditioning. Small bar/restaurant on ground level and outside seating. We enjoyed a couple of good meals. Also, they were helpful to accommodate a group of about 25 of my colleagues for happy hour drinks/appetizers. There are stairs to get to rooms, but they offered to carry our suitcases.

The only minor inconvenience we had was that we needed a USB port to charge our phones as we didn't have a plug but there wasn't one.

Beautiful old building nicely upgraded to a modern standard. Beds extremely comfortable with massive walk in shower. We even had a small terrace which was lovely to relax in. Perfect location, 5 minutes walk from the station, in a beautiful area of Maastricht. Staff were so friendly , even filing my water bottle with ice and water.

Hotel Beaumont is an amazing hotel in the heart of Maastricht's Wyck district. Staff is very friendly, tooms are spacious and clean. Harry's restaurant makes it even more special with its excellent brunch and dinner.

Lovely hotel situated 5 minutes flat walk from the railway station. Room spacious, with a lovely big bed & huge walk in shower. Staff very friendly but professional. We used the Founders Bar which was lovely but didn't use the restaurant. Hotel was situated about 10 minutes walk from Vrithof Square which was where we saw Andre Rieu in concert (an experience we will never forget). Hotel perfect for such a momentous occasion. Maastricht is a beautiful city & we enjoyed our trip immensely.

The location was perfect for us on our way from Aachen towards Maastricht by bike. I liked the separate access to the room, which was tidy and clean and perfect for my one-night stay. I love the fact that everything was automatised (no human interference was needed), we got the keys instantly from the safe boxes and we could just drop the key at the end.

I enjoyed my one night stay at Hotel Limburgia! I felt very welcome by the owners from the moment I checked in, during the delicious breakfast, and when I checked out. The bed was comfortable, good shower, and a nice view from the balcony. I didn't have a car and traveled by bus. The bus stop is conveniently around the corner (you can see the hotel from the stop) and takes about 30 minutes to get to Maastricht. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a place outside of the city center of Maastricht.

WiFi was of a good and stable quality throughout our stay. The location of our room meant we could hear loud conversation in the breakfast room which tended to disturb us first thing in the morning. The bathroom was well equipped with nice toiletries. The breakfast was of a continental variety with a small warm selection.

The building is really beautiful, well-maintained and modernized on the inside. Location is also very convenient, just 5 minutes walk to the center and the train station. It’s very quiet and no nice can be heard from the outside. The room was spacious enough. High ceilinged rooms and huge windows with lots of light. We liked that the toilet is separated from the bathroom. During the breakfast, chai latte on their coffee machine was a pleasant surprise! All staff and personnel were all friendly and helpful. Their mojito was quite refreshing after a full day out. 😉

A great converted church with a novel use of space! The room was very comfortable with Air Con that works! The restaurant was so delicious and the food presented really well. There was enough car parking for about 20 cars at a pinch. The main drag for bars and restaurants is an easy 10 minute walk too.

My friend and i stayed at this lovely, quaint hotel for 2 nights. It is in a perfect location, nice area and close to the centre. The staff were really friendly and so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our room wS spacious and the bed was so comfy! We will be back, thank you Joules and all the staff.

The room was a good size. For breakfast we were offerd a variety of continental choices which was very tasty and just enough. The location of the hotel is perfect, very central and walking distance to everywhere. Although there was no kettle in the room there was a help yourself coffee station in the hall.

The location is perfect. It’s a secluded and quiet spot in a central area. The bus station is just outside the hotel entrance and you can easily walk to many attractions and restaurants. It is also located just off the market square where the very vibrant local ‘bazaar’ is held every Wednesday/Friday. The room is very spacious and clean, the decor and lighting are really nice and pleasant. The hotel lobby/restaurant and garden area are also very lovely, the design is slick and comfortable.

The staff was very friendly and always helpful, service with a smile, the location is perfect being near one of the main squares but also away from crowds. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and clean

No restaurant in evening but the breakfast was lovely! Patio room was comfortable with excellent shower. Safe a little small ok for passport not for a laptop or I would think a large mirrorless or SLR camera. Maastricht was lovely, good recommendations from reception staff. Very easy to get bus to and from the main station (just use bank card on and off), used 13 to get there.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. There was a great atmosphere between all the staff and guests. The bed was huge and very comfy. Breakfast was also great.

We have just had a lovely stay accompanied by Dutch friends, for 4 nights B&B in Gerardushoeve Hotel, which offers superb accommodation food & comfort & definitely deserves recognition for quality as the standard is excellent. The rooms either have views across beautiful surrounding countryside or overlook the lovely inner courtyard.The continental breakfasts were splendid & included many home made treats.The ambience in & around the hotel was so peaceful & appealing & made for a very relaxing stay.The area is ideal for walking/ biking & the hotel supplies maps plus a pamphlet every day with relevant information about the surrounding area. We thought the hotel offered great value & the staff were also very welcoming, helpful & friendly.The Gerardus Hoeve Hotel was like a hidden gem & we felt we had been let in on the secret! Our only regret is we do not live nearer (we live in Ireland) as we would definitely visit the hotel more often, but for now we have to be content to return in the not too distant future!

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting Maastricht for the Andre Rieu concerts. Just 20 minutes by car away, yet at a fraction of the price, this is a great value hotel. The surrounding area is lovely and so peaceful. The hotel manages to combine the original 80 year old building with a smart new section and it works perfectly. The rooms are huge, ours had a lovely patio overlooking the fields. The breakfast which can be taken in the courtyard was sufficient and tasty and all the staff were adorable. Only slight blemish was that there was no a/c, which would have been a blessing on such a hot weekend. If you are considering somewhere however for Andre Rieu, I highly recommend this hotel if you have a car.

Staying over in Maastricht for a day, we were looking for a hotel outside of the city. Even though this hotel is a bit further away from where we would normally stay, I can't recommend it more highly. This place is fantastic. Located in a renovated old windmill in a very quiet, countryside environment next to some industrial area, they have done a fabulous job of turning the site into a great hotel with a modern vibe to it. There's sufficient parking available but you might need a GPS to locate the place as it's not on a main road. Front desk staff was super friendly. I called them due to our late check-in and they went out of their way to offer a solution that worked out very well. The rooms are very modern and spacious and have a very unique layout. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room very clean. Breakfast was served in the restaurant that is linked to the hotel, with an open kitchen. Staff asked us if we wanted some freshly scrambled or baked eggs and they made it on the spot. At Eur 15 per person I did consider breakfast a bit expensive for what they offer, but unless you're willing to drive out it offers some good choices. While the hotel rates were really good value, be prepared to be charged Eur 5 per person tourist tax as set by council. Really glad to have found this hotel for our next visit when I hope to try the restaurant for dinner (it was still closed). Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Breakfast has typical European style with eggs cooked to order. We did not eat dinner there. The room was very modern and comfortable.

Traveeling to Maasmechelen on buisness I found this hotel was a convienient location, the hotel was a little tricky to find with my Sat Nav not picking up the road its on but as the hotel is an old converted windmill I managed to head to a surrounding road and easily found my way once in close proximity, Great free parking at the front of the hotel, the room was extremely comfortable with great furnishings and a nice bathroom/shower area. The restaurant was excellent, not cheap but served really nice food. On the whole I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Very nice small, quiet and very friendly hotel. All staff very welcoming and helpful. We had a lovely evening meal and a lovely member of staff helped us to translate the menu. Hotel is situated about 25 minutes from Maastricht which is an easy drive. The hotel is in the country and we drove through some lovely villages to get there. The hotel is very clean and tidy. Everything that is needed is in the hotel room. My only niggle is that there is no dressing mirror in the room. There is only a small bathroom mirror which is not great to use when someone else is in there. There is a large mirror above the bed but as I’m fairly small I had to stand on the bed to try to use it. Maybe a long dressing mirror behind the wardrobe door would be an idea? Apart from that one tiny niggle we had a lovely stay!

Great location and staff, they also have a restaurant with really good food, breakfast buffet was one of the best. We had a very comfortable stay. You can also do some walks in the surroundings.

Great 4 nights stay. Great choices for breakfast, and had dinner 2 of the nights - food great. Staff also really helpful. Definitely stay again.

We stayed in the Junior Suite. Room was very large, nice furnishings and bathroom, all clean. Only complaint was that it was a bit too dark during the day and that some things were broken/nearly broken, like the room’s door handle and one of the blinds. Staff were very friendly and helpful, both at reception, the breakfast service and the restaurant, which we both used. The breakfast service was great and dinner even better – wonderful set menu and actually quite good value given the quality of food and presentation. But the stand out was the hotel’s grounds. Surrounded by nature and set within a small valley, it really is beautiful. Given the area is great has many great walking routes, I’d really recommend visiting L.A., especially if you appreciate nature and natural beauty!

The place is just gorgeous, situated in a lush green environment so it breaths quietness. De interior is modern but with many original details. The room is nice, good bed and everything looks well maintained. Breakfast is excellent with many choices.

A renovated old school turned into a lovely hotel. You still get the filling of the school in some of the public areas which I thought was cool. Reception team and check in was quick and nice. They offer a welcome cookie and you can order a Pizza if you arrive late at night as I did which I found really nice. I booked the basic room but thanks to my loyalty status was upgraded to a large junior suite. The room was very spacious and well apointed in that modern way. Comfortable bed and seating area complete with a small kitchenette. Spacious bathroom. Breakfast was basic but adequate. They also have a really nice looking bar and restaurant I didn’t get to use. Everything was very clean. My only comments would be that breakfast at weekend should start also at 07:00 for business travelers. Also the bathrobes were really too small for men which I found strange considering Dutch people are not small… I would also expect some more amenities in the bathroom from this level of a hotel and would prefer a stronger water pressure in the shower. But these are all minor comments. I enjoyed my stay and would come back without any hesitation.

Modern hotel in a very characteristic former school building. Beautiful designed spaces and rooms and very pleasant to stay in. Showers are great, bed is fantastic. Bar and restaurant have a very pleasant atmosphere. Cosy, enclosed terrace to have a drink. Staff is very welcoming and helpful!

From the moment we arrived we felt comfortable “Ahmed “at the front desk welcomed us warmly and explained the restaurant times also enquiring if there was anything more that we wished to know. A particular nice touch was the offer of a warm cookie and a cool glass of water. We decided to eat in and again we were welcomed into the small bar restaurant by Saba and Kaliopi. The food was excellent and served with a smile. Our bedroom was clean and adequate with a huge tv which had English channels ,a coffee machine with pods was present also a kettle for making tea. The air conditioning was effective for the hot weather. All in all an excellent hotel !! This hotel is a credit to Hilton and their Staff 😀

I have been coming here for business since its opening spending on average 35-45 nights a year. I kept coming back because of the attentive, solution-oriented and friendly staff. The rooms are comfortable, clean, quiet and when I pointed something out, it got rectified. Many times I showed up for very early check-in and they got me a room as expeditiously as possible. Between trips they accommodated safeguarding some of my luggage. I see constant improvement and willingness to deliver excellence, if sometimes they have fallen short as per some of the harsh reviews, it was not for the lack of trying. Short walk to the town centre square with good restaurants. Many times I elected to eat on the premises with satisfaction.

This is a really impressive hotel for the price. I really cannot fault anything with this given the price. Rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The hotel has a really good bar and restaurant. Breakfast was really good. Service is good and the hotel has so much history behind it. It is beautifully designed and keeps much of the original features. It has plenty of parking and is ideally situated. Not often I give 5 stars, but can’t fault this, and the price makes it unbeatable value. I chose this hotel over others that were a lot closer to my place of work for 3 days. In fact, was even over the border for me, so glad I did.

Grand building with nicely designed rooms - high ceilings, big windows. A few hiccups, like the tap is not long enough to reach the sink properly, nowhere to put your glasses (or anything) when showering, and annoying wifi (took me more than twenty attempts to register - with no indication of what I was doing wrong - some obscure rules about what was acceptable data to enter on a form that asked for more data than needed). I would dock a star but they earned it back with the TV behind the stained glass window! Otherwise quiet, clean, comfortable with decent breakfast

The room was very clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a nice wide, walk-in shower with a rainforest shower head and great water pressure. Parking was convenient and easily accessible from the room. Breakfast was offered for 15 Euros but we did not take the breakfast. Instead, we ate downtown. Easy 25-minute walk to downtown, Pleasant staff, and good value for the money.

The accommodation was well equipped very clean and very quiet. I was able to store my bike in the garage for over night or when I was not using it.

This motel is situated near a quiet road, a fork of the main road. My room was looking very clean and neat and was large in size. Lots of amenities. All, including the bathroom looked fresh and new. Also the breakfast lounge is pleasant. When travelling by car this motel is very easy to reach. Very convienient just park the car at the grounds of this motel. It is good starting point to explore the region and also Germany and Belgium.

It was the perfect location to cycle in the area. We were there for the Amstel gold race and it was not too far to get there. I stayed a few more days exploring the area. The apartment had everything we needed and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The host was very responsive and helpful.

This hotel is a genuinely family run hotel who care hugely about their hotel. The welcome, in English, could not have been warmer. Their concern for their guests showed when they asked about any food allergies as part of the initial welcome. The staff in the bar were equally friendly and helpful. I loved the location, though some might find it a bit quiet - but that's what I wanted. It is just 3kms away from the town of Valkenburg which is a very popular holiday destination and is full of people at this time of year which is why I chose the Hotel Bemelmans to get away from the crowds.. The grounds are like a southern English garden, and the owners would appear to be trying to grow some of their herbs and vegetables.. The hotel was full of Dutch people, many with bicycles.

Great value for money; located in a very quite area surrounded by beautiful landscapes, room was quite spacious and clean. The staff were super friendly! We had a trail race the next day and were allowed to have early breakfast! Would visit this place again!

The staff that manages check-in and check-out, the bar, restaurant and breakfast area were all very kind and helpful. I highly recommend booking a table for dinner, as well as setting up the breakfast option during your stay. You will not be disappointed. We also loved that this was a dog friendly property. We loved all the green spaces and the quiet away from the city. Our next trip back to Europe we will stay here again 100%.

The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as good as possible. They know the city and were helpful in pointing us in the right direction. The rooms looked very clean and modern, with plenty of amenities. The bed was very comfy with multiple pillows and a large blanket. Despite the hotel being close to a main crossroad, noise wasn't an issue overnight even with an open window. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and we couldn't find anything that we'd miss. I'll definitely be returning to this hotel when traveling to Maastricht again!

I had a lovely experience, mainly thanks to the wonderful owners. They are incredibly friendly, hospitable, and accommodating. Their warmth and kindness really make the stay special. The hotel itself has a rustic style, and while some might find it a bit outdated, the owners’ dedication more than makes up for it. A perfect example of this was at breakfast: when I asked if there was something vegan available, they went out of their way to buy three different kinds of vegan yoghurt just for me, even though I insisted it wasn’t necessary. That’s far more than most places would do, and I appreciated it so much. Breakfast overall offered a good variety: delicious peanut butter, jams, several kinds of bread, cereals, seeds, dried fruit, and fresh fruit. Plenty of options, especially when combined with the yoghurt they provided. Our room was spacious, filled with natural light, and equipped with a large double bed, both a bath and a shower, which made it very comfortable. Eijsden itself is a quiet and charming place with beautiful scenery, perfect for a relaxing stay. Overall, Bon Heur Hotel is a place where the genuine care and hospitality of the owners shine through. If you value warmth and personal attention, you’ll feel right at home here.

It was a very lovely hotel in a fantastic location. I stayed for Andre Rieu concert. Going to MEEC was incredibly convenient since it is less than two minutes to walk to the train station. The hotel was very comfortable. The breakfast was satisfying and it was open-buffet. The owner couple was really kind and helpful. The hotel also has a cosy café-bar inside if you wanna enjoy a drink.

I liked the neighbourhood (quiet, cosy, clean) and the hosts (helpful, discreet and endearing). The fact that we could spend our weekend there with our pet and the flexibility of payment methods/marketing policies was quite stress relief. Le Bonheur is the perfect location for a getaway, either alone or in small groups. The touristic attractions are a transportation away. You can have all the info and documentation about them from the hosts as well. I highly recommend this cosy hotel. I will surely comeback, since it has now become my favorite location for my first trip in Holland. Again, thank you for having us.

Cozy private hotel. Clean rooms with breakfast. Friendly owner. At our request, we had breakfast early, at 7.00 am. Possibility to drink coffee freely at any time in the dining room. Or take drinks from the refrigerator for a fee. There is private parking and if you're lucky there will be a space. On the first day we parked in the hotel parking lot, on the second day the spaces were full, so we had to park in a public space along the street.

You get value for your money. The location of the hotel offers a good starting point for bicycle tours. There is secured bicycle storage garage. The Comfort room was best OK and the bathroom comfortable and very clean. Very good service. The personnel is very friendly, helpful and client oriented. The food on the menu was just excellent and tasteful ( a very good chef) and the breakfast was very good. I would go there again without hesitation.

We received exceptional personal service as soon as we arrived, with the offer using their garage to park our bikes. The rooms were clean and well appointed. We opted to eat in and we’re not disappointed. The personal and professional service continued in the restaurant and the food was very good. Breakfast was the usual continental buffet with a good selection of cereals and pastries etc.

The rooms were very comfortable, we chose to stay at the back of the building which is not on the main road. It was very comfortable and enjoyed the restaurant food downstairs for dinner which was very delicious.

Friendly welcome and a comfortable room. We enjoyed the bar for a nightcap and the optional breakfast in the morning. We asked for information about buses into the city, there was a temporary replacement route, the staff kindly ensured we had the right info. Maastricht is lovely, we greatly enjoyed our evening in the city. Free parking at the hotel and good WiFi.

Our first experience of the hotel was the wonderful views from the balcony overlooking the fields and church. The room was very spacious with a comfortable bed although we would have liked a bigger quilt. Very muched liked the bathroom with the super shower. The terrace was a great space with chairs to enjoy the views. Staff at the hotel are very welcoming and helpful, with a wide variety of choice for breakfast. So we would have no hesitation in recomending the hotel to other guests and would definitely return.

This delightful hotel was a pleasure to stay at; quiet, spotless, fine food for the price at dinner and for the included buffet breakfast. The free parking across the street was also useful and the WIfI was faultless: no codes or passwords required, fast and never failed. The room was spotless though quite small. The bathroom was renovated with large black tile and white trim: quite elegant. The private terrace was also a delight to sit on. The rooms are all upstairs, up a narrow stairway partially obstructed at the bottom by a bureau: a problem with large pieces of luggage and (in our case) a wheelchair. There's no elevator (lift).

Nice restaurant / hotel in Vijlen. Position is great with big private parking in front of hotel. Small hotel (only a few rooms) above a nice restaurant (which I did not try unfortunately). My room (#4) was quite big with a big terrace with sun from morning till sunset. Room furniture is quite basic but everything is there. Bed is comfortable, even if two single beds next to each other instead of one queen bed. Bathroom is nice with big shower. Breakfast good with lots of salty and sweaty food, coffee on the contrary is of low quality and need improvement. Nice surroundings for walking, biking, and short driving to Limburg points of interest.

Pleasantly surprised by how spacious and comfortable our twin room in this hotel was, also with a good modern bathroom. Simple furnishing. Friendly staff. Good breakfast spread in the morning and could have had dinner, inside or out, but we chose to cross the border to Aachen for the novelty of eating dinner in Germany.

We came with our 4 year old daughter and she enjoyed the stay and the swimming pool. The staff was very nice, polite and very informative.

The sauna and pool were great, breakfast was amazing, the Bistro was good for dinner and drinks (restaurant was fully booked for our stay). The bike room was very handy for us, we also liked the area for cycling as we came from Germany and went also to Belgium. Our room (Junior Suite) was really epic and suited our group so perfectly, was simply perfect.

This was a fun property in a great location of the city. We were within close walking distance of many of the tourist attractions, but not in the noisy heart of the tourist dining center. The area seems to be mostly occupied by locals, and the city here is busy at nights, but the hotel is on a quiet block, so central to everything but a great escape. The staff was happy to provide recommendations. It is across the street to a few high end restaurants including one Michelin Star restaurant (get reservations in advance). It is also close to many historic sights including the church and old city walls. As an added bonus, the hotel has a local athletic club, so during the day there were kids attending martial arts practice, I thought it was super cute and made the place feel more like a part of the community.

Great location, big apartment, all amenities are modern and good, staff was friendly and professional, everything was clean and convenient.

This hotel is a contactless hotel, so I need to check in and check out by myself. It was a bit surprising but a very easy process. They can reply to any request using Whatsapp using AI and also a real person if AI can not have an answer. For breakfast, they can deliver to a room if I request at night with 8.5 euros. Honest bar is really good, but I'm not sure they have takeout coffee. In the room, they noticed coffee in the bar, but I couldn't find it. The hotel is walking distance from the train station and many excellent restaurants nearby.

The design of the hotel and the music we could hear in the lounge and lobby - in 90s style were very welcoming and creating a relaxing atmosphere. The room was bigger than expected, very clean and comfortable. The amnesties in the bathroom smelled very nice. The free coffee in the lobby was an extra bonus for the morning:) We only stayed for one night, but definitely we will come back when visiting Maastricht.

The rooms have been modernized and the same applies for the restaurant and bar, creating a rather pleasant atmosphere. the staff were polite, the room was very clean, comfortable bed, nice breakfast, nothing to complain about really. I did not get to try the WiFi as I was happy using my mobile data just for one night.

We had a lovely apartment overlooking the golf course, very spacious. The restaurant /bar area served tasty meals. Robin, who looked after us, was a fantastic , friendly and helpful young man - a really pleasant character.

Convenient location with just few meters to the square where good restaurants and bars were located.

The hotel’s location was excellent—very central with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Despite the lively surroundings, the street where the hotel is situated is quiet and peaceful. There’s a parking facility close by. We were welcomed with a complimentary drink at the bar, which was a nice touch. The hotel also features a small movie theater room that we didn’t use, but it looked inviting. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which added positively to our overall experience.

A beautiful, friendly B&B; clean, stylish and comfortable, with an excellent breakfast. A small village, but very close to Maastricht so you can easily enjoy the charms of this beautiful, historic city. The property offers secure bike storage for peace of mind. A great stop on our bike tour.

My husband and I stayed overnight here to visit friends in the area. We were impressed by the high standards of this hotel. The décor was lovely, the beds comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. We had lunch at one of the attached restaurants, which was delicious. Our only slight issue was in the shower, which was located under the slant portion of the roof. Tall people have an awkward time of it... Overall, though, we loved our short stay here and would return in the future.

Nicely designed, great restaurant for dinner, nice breakfast. Breakfast is buffet style only, though, we would have appreciate some freshly prepared eggs. Very limited when it comes to gluten-free and dairy-free options. As a vegetarian, GF, DF eater, breakfast options were very limited.

Hotel is set in it's own grounds and has a good restaurant (Italian fusion nouvelle cuisine) it is good but be prepared to pay for it. There is an alternative downstairs in the small brasserie bar but it is usually a single dish of the day so a bit pot luck. Beware that Monday nights most restaurants in the area are closed so choices are limited. Upstairs rooms are generally more spacious and a little lighter. With huge walls and small windows in this converted farm there is not always a lot of light. Bathrooms are well equipped, could perhaps have a few more power points in the room but generally fit for purpose. There is no a/c so on hot days it can get a bit stuffy in rooms as airflow is limited. A/C is not an option as the building is protected due to its age. Breakfast is varied and should suit most tastes. Will happily stay there again.

We stayed at the apartment building and it was lovely. The room and bathroom are fresh and modern, the bed was comfortable. There is an elevator too. The location is very convenient, but I should mention that the rooms facing the street are not very quiet, as there is some traffic on the street. The kitchenette is basic - just a kettle, small coffee maker, microwave, fridge and a sink, so not really intended to actually cook something. The option of getting a free cup of soup and a coffee (at the hotel across the street) was superb (the soups were also very good tasting!). We didn't initially pay for the breakfasts, but ended up getting them anyway. While they are not cheap (20 euro per adult, and for kids - 1 euro for each year), they are excellent with some hot dishes, lots of quality cold cuts, cereals, yogurt, fruit, juices and even champaign. Overall I really enjoyed our week in Maastricht and I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We stayed two nights in the spacious room at the Hip Hotel. It was very comfortable and clean and very convenient to all the attractions and shopping . Maurice at the check-in desk across the street was very helpful in recommending dinner spots. A cheaper breakfast at the hotel would have been nice (the breakfast served is quite pricey) but there were other, inexpensive options nearby. The free wi-fi was a bonus, too.

Townhouse Apartments were truly a 10/10. We were a group with 12 people and the beds were so big we comfortably fit 4 people into each room. The beds and pull out couch beds were extremely comfortable with great pillows and linens. The bathrooms in the rooms were also very spacious which is unlike typical Dutch hotel bathrooms! A great bonus is the free soup and coffee/tea in the lobby whenever you want. The breakfast was great with lots of variety of fruits, breads, spreads and warm dishes. The hosts were super kind and helpful. Very attentive and the 24hr reception was perfect also! Overall great value for money. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Maastricht.

Check-in is just across the street. Apart from this slight inconvenience, the staff are helpful and friendly. If you drive, parking is just round the corner; parking is free from 8pm - 8am, thereafter €2.6 per hour; Metro station is also just round the corner. The hotel room is spacious and clean. Its centrally located and within walking distance (5-10 mins walk) to the central & eateries. There are many great restaurants nearby, including Michelin star restaurant. Highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast: exceptional. The fried egg and scrambled egg were all hand-made by the owner, super delicious. And since I was traveling for F1, the owner were happy to push breakfast earlier from 8:30 to 8:00 to accommodate me. And they also made me sandwich for the last day because I had to leave early. Room: very clean, and well-serviced everyday. Bed was comfortable and the big bonus is it has AC! Location: very convenient. located in a nice and quiet area, but also super easily connected to the town and highway.

The room was modern spotless, fresh and spacious. Breakfast with a choice of bacon, eggs, fruit, yoghurt cheese, cold meats, variety of breads and more was very enjoyable. Conveniently there is a bus stop situated directly outside the hotel with a bus running to and from Maastricht every hour. Beautiful countryside surroundings for peace and quiet. Fabulous warm welcome from staff who were friendly, helpful and for whom nothing was too much trouble. Such lovely people! Really comfy bed and airy, good sized room with Juliet balcony. The bar was brilliant and relaxed with a great selection of beers and local snacks served beneath a glorious panoply of foliage and crystal chandeliers. It’s essentially a lovely conservatory so you can people and parade watch in comfort. You’re within a few paces of shops, markets and tons of bars and restaurants. Parking is sensibly priced and easily accessible. We loved it and hope to return.

Had a really lovely stay, comfortable, quiet, relaxing. Check in and check out was smooth and efficient. They made an effort to speak our own language the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Only area for improvement would be a separate shower bathroom, as it was a wet room shower over the toilet. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent location right next to the castle ruins in Valkenburg, as well as a lively restaurant area, with ample public parking space in the front. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the room decent for our needs, clean and quiet with good quality WiFi.

Beautiful old building and quaint surroundings. The room we had was tiny (which we knew beforehand) but has everything you need. Including an aircon, kettle and coffee machine. Our room had an amazing view of the stream behind the castle. We highly recommend the gastronomical bistro restaurant too. Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere! Don’t forget to get a special local ‘vlaai’ cake with your coffee - this really is delicious. Would go back again anytime!

Room was quirky with a sloped ceiling which isn't great if you are tall, however it is an old building so expected and certainly not a problem. Narrow stairs to my room, but again just a characteristic of an old castle.

The hotel was comfortable and clean and most of all welcoming. All the staff were helpful and always cheerful. Ordering breakfast in advance was simple and sensible and we were able to ask for additional items easily. Glad there was a lift as we were on the third floor.
