It was a modern living space that has great facilities including a very-well equipped gym, spa, sauna, jacuzzi and a common living area with TVs and a pool table. The rooms were clean. The location was a short walk to the major landmarks of the city.

Nice modern studio for a short stay. It was an advantage to be able to use the Sauna and Jacuzzi. Good location near tram stop.

Very nice place to stay in Helsinki, very close the Cathedral and Market Square. I would certainly recommend using the hotels sauna and jacuzzi as it’s inclusive in the price.

Great place to stay, fab location, well equipped rooms. Liked that dishwasher tablets and washing detergent was provided, was great to have washing machine in studio. Nice spa area with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi and good communal spaces. Really nice roof terrace. Super close to walk from the Viking Line ferry and to the Suomenlinna ferries as well as for getting around Helsinki. Despite being a big property it didn’t feel too busy and was surprisingly quiet

Although it’s located outside the city center, it’s in a quiet and pleasant area, and the metro makes it easy and convenient to reach the main attractions. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. One of the highlights was the sauna, which was very enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall it was a nice choice for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Our room was clean, had minimalist decor, and space was sufficient for 2 people. Room & Facilities are accesed with own key-card. There's decent WiFi. Basic cooking utensils and equipment were provided in the kitchenette. Housekeeping service is available every 2 days, and housekeeping staff were friendly. Would recommend one to bring/buy own supply of laundry soap if staying for a longer period. There is a bidet in the toilet :D Facilities like the sauna are clean and well maintained. The apart-hotel is located in a relatively quiet area. It is still accessible by public transport via light rail #15. There is a decent sized supermarket in front of the building and a nature trail nearby.

I had a lovely stay at Noli Otaniemi! The studio room was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished — everything felt new and shiny. It came with an induction stove, microwave, dishwasher, cutlery, and cookware, which made it super easy to cook and feel at home. The real highlight was the sea view. My daily Instagram posts featured the sun reflecting over the water in different shades — absolutely stunning and peaceful. The location is unbeatable: right next to the tram stop, so I could get around the city effortlessly. Aalto University is just a short walk away, and the metro station nearby made commuting a breeze. Having a K-Market right next door was perfect for grocery runs and spontaneous cook-ups. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a modern, well-connected, and scenic place to stay in Helsinki!

Modern, clean and comfortable facilities in a great location near nature but with great public transportation connections. Great services also close-by, such as the K-Market including a salad bar, and the amazing Fat Lizard restaurant a 5 min walk away. No pet fee which I especially appreciate. Great feeling of community within the guests, and really nice common areas for hanging out and cooking. Price also included gym and sauna - you really get a lot for what you pay!

Comfy and clean with well equipped kitchenette. Building is modern and everything worked nice. It was clean and room was cozy. I stayed with my dog and he enjoyed the stay as well. Bathroom is a bit small but was ok for me

Location is perfect, you can arrive by metro, bus or tram, the facilites are great, you can find everything you need, after a long day travelling or working, you can just jump into the sauna, then to the jacuzzi before heading to a very comfy bed.

Very good hotel at the middle of Sörnainen. Extremely close to stores, busses and subway. Very friendly staff and nice saunas and jacuzzi. The room was big and had everything you needed. Would definitely choose this hotel again!

Great location, everything was in very close distance, about a ten minute walk from the city center. Close to two supermarkets and to tram stops. The room was very warm, clean and cosy with everything you would need and an extra comfy bed. The kitchen in the room was fully equipped with even a dishwasher. The breakfast was very good with many vegetarian options. Many common areas such as kitchen, game room, working space, sauna etc. The staff was friendly and helpful, they even prepared us breakfast the previous day as we had to leave early the next morning and we would miss the breakfast hours. The check-in was easy, as well as the luggage storage.

We have had an amazing stay at the Noli Katajanokka II Apartment complex. It was very clean, furnished with everything we needed and located in an excellent part of Helsinki with easy access to everything we wanted to do. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The complimentary use of the Sauna allowed us to unwind at the end of our days exploring the beautiful city of Helsinki. Access to the rooftop terrace gave spectacular views from the apartment complex that added to our memories staying there.

We loved Noli II! Our stay was quite comfortable. The space was super clean and extremely efficiently designed. The location was perfect to catch transportation and visit the market. The only small issue we had was there is no lip on the shower floor, so the rest of the floor got wet. It was easily rectified by putting a towel in front of the door, and there was a squeegee in the shower to help. Other than that, we loved it!

Our room was clean and cosy. The staff are helpful and friendly. The location is great once you get your bearings - you really can walk everywhere (and Helsinki is very pedestrian and cyclist friendly). What you don't have in your room, you can grab from the "service" cupboards on your floor - and we loved the sharing and community feel.

Not luxurious as such but does exactly what it says on the tin. Review based on a one night stay in March (background of spending 80+ nights per year in different hotels around the globe). Location: The hotel is located somewhat out of the main hassle in a mainly industrial/business area. Apart from a single bistro there’s nothing much in the immediate neighbourhood. Easily accessible both with a car as well as public transport, free parking along the street next to the hotel. Roughly 500m walk to the Herttoniemi metro station. Room: We had the basic room at 4th floor, not the biggest one I’ve seen but for sure enough especially for a short stay. The room was very clean, looked almost brand new. There was a regular kitchen with a full set of equipment, including multiple wine glasses. Quiet room, just a little noise from the main road next door. Etc: Check-in & out using the tablet was very straightforward. No breakfast offered here. Would I return there? Yes sure, a modern hotel offering very good value for money

Self served apartment, everything was clean and tidy, small but cosy. The lobby area was very relaxing, quiet and comfortable, and there was even a video game room. Easy to access, just 10 min walk from Herttoniemi station. There was a large supermarket in just a few minutes walk, where you can almost easily gets everything.

Well.. Everything i liked!!! This is one of the best places i've ever been. The whole conception of studios combined with common facilities is just perfect.. And everything in style and very quality.. Movie room.. Library room.. Bussines room.. Perfect coomon kitchen (like plus on the perfect one in the studio). Perfect studio.. Welcomeness of the staff.. them smile on every word..them wish to help.. Allowing early check in(room was avaliable).. Is just something you see very rear in this bussines.. This place is just something else.. They have everything you need and they are doing all that you like a guest feel good.. Something very very good.. Respect And thank you.. Will be back 🙂

The subway station and bus stop were nearby, so it was convenient to go anywhere. There was a Marimekko restaurant, a supermarket, and a park where you can enjoy a walk in 5 minutes on foot. The room had a kitchen, which was very convenient. We were able to use the washing machine with detergent and a well-maintained bicycle for free. After checking out, they kept our suitcases until 6pm. We were satisfied with everything.

Surrounded by large grocery stores, it was easy to stock up on essentials, and the bistro restaurant downstairs offered delicious lunch and dinner options. The view from the studio was amazing, giving us a panoramic look at the entire city. Highly recommend!

This is a modern high rise property located adjacent to Malmi railway station, from where a direct train runs frequently to Helsinki Central station and to Helsinki airport, each journey taking only about 15 minutes. There is a good shopping mall located almost next door to the property. I asked for a room that was as quiet as possible and I was allocated a very quiet room on the 11th floor with a nice view and a fast lift connection to the lobby. The room also contained a comfortable double bed, an ensuite bathroom, a kitchen space, a refrigerator and a table/desk. The property also contains several common rooms for residents. When I eventually found the property, I had an enjoyable 2-night stay.

This place is amazing for its price. The room is very clean and it has everything you can ask for. It’s spacey, has a kitchen, a dishwasher, a washing machine and the hotel itself has so many shared areas that are clean and very functional. There is a washing machine, dryer, steamer, hanging room, ironing boards, the sauna is mixed and is super clean, the gym is relatively complete, there is a cool TV/movie, gaming and work area. The staff are really nice, they let me drop my luggage before i checked in and they told me not to worry after I accidentally broke the vase. Thank you so much!! Everything was so clean, convenient and functional. Was worth the price.

Everything! The building is extremely modern. The price I paid was a bargain for Helsinki so I was shocked by how luxurious it felt. The bed was comfy, there was a fully stocked kitchenette, a little table, and packets of filter coffee to enjoy. I think the best part was the bathroom, which had underfloor heating. I was only there for one night so did not get chance to use them, but there were endless facilities such as sauna, restaurant, and a workspace. There are lots of other takeaways and shops nearby, as well as the bus and train station being only two minutes away. It felt very secure, with key cards being required to access the lift etc.

I had a wonderful stay at Noli Malmi in Helsinki! The modern design and amenities made for a comfortable experience, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The staff was friendly and helpful, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere.

Breakfast selection was varied and accommodated almost any kind of preference or diet, whether you wanted fruit or meat, waffles or veggies and hummus, they had it. The fresh omelette bar was a welcome option as hotel eggs are often disappointing. The bar area was nice at night. The location for us was perfect as we had a few bookings and errands in the area. While the room didn’t have a view, that didn’t bother us as we hadn’t booked with the expectation of one. What mattered most to us was that it was comfortable and quiet, and so the Yrjönkatu side of the hotel suited us perfectly. We hadn’t been to Marski in about ten years, and it felt overall as if it had changed for the better; a bit more upmarket but without feeling pretentious or silly. We would stay there again easily.

Great hotel, central location to most attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful at check in. The rooms were clean and spacious with toiletries in the room. There are tea/coffee/hot chocolate making facilities in the room and a mini bar (at extra cost). The breakfast was buffet style with hot and cold options and a waffle bar for kids (or adults).

The rooms are modern and clean with a cosy vibe, but they are a good size. I love the location - so central and easy and the views on the side with Stockmann and the theatre are great - I love watching the sunrise from the window. The beds are super comfy! The bathroom is always clean and warm and big enough to move around. I love that there are ice machines in the corridors too. The staff are always so friendly and helpful! I’ve stayed here 3 times now, it’s my favourite hotel and the lovely staff just make it that little bit more special. Thank you!!

This is by far one of the most beautiful and luxurious hotel in Europe. The location is perfect right in central Helsinki. The design of the hotel is spectacular! Rooms are very clean and staff is very friendly and welcoming. Amazing breakfast as well!

Marski by Scandic is a stylish and perfectly located hotel in the heart of Helsinki, just steps from shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve had in Finland, fresh, varied, and beautifully presented. It was spacious and beautifully landscaped. Very clean and the house (being old) had character. I liked that it had a hiking trail right from the property and if we had more time we would have walked it.

The value for money is very good. Not everything was perfect, but there are many details and amenities that make the stay very pleasant: the size of the room, the quality of the furniture, attention to detail, the kitchen facilities, the large smart TV, overall cleanliness, the quality of the towels and bed linens, and various gadgets that you don’t usually find in similar accommodations. There is a supermarket and a liquor store on the ground floor, as well as restaurants, and the neighborhood is very beautiful, quiet, and centrally located. What I especially appreciated was that the staff was very responsive and helpful: we were given a free breakfast as compensation for an initial issue with the room (we did not ask for compensation, it was offered on their own initiative), and we also received a comfortable extra bed for the last 3 days of our stay, at our request, without being charged extra for our daughter, who joined us in a room originally reserved for just two people. Our experience was great and made our stay in Helsinki even more enjoyable!

This is my new favorite place to stay when I visit Helsinki. The building is very clean and you have two restaurants and grocery store just down stairs from your apartment! The apartment itself is very nice and modern. It has huge windows with a nice view of the street cars below. The bathroom is huge and has a washer dryer combo unit to get all your dirty travel clothing clean while you relax in a private apartment. My wife and I logged into Netflix and watched our favorite show on a huge tv while waiting for laundry. There is a fridge to keep the food you bought at the Alepa market downstairs and for dinner you can enjoy tasty pizza or sushi downstairs as well. I cannot say enough about how great Bob W Koti Katajanokka is. You’ll have to book it for yourself and see!

The room itself was amazing - clean, well prepared, quiet, and in a great location. Local market is one block away, and multiple city landmarks and sights are within a 10 minute walk. Tram stop is right in front of the building door. If there's one small flaw, it's the virtual check-in. This proved to be an issue when I showed up with no cell service and no wifi - make sure to screenshot your building entry codes and apartment number before arriving if you are not going to have cellular data available. Otherwise, Bob W was an incredible hotel experience. The room felt very spacious and comfortable, providing a peaceful and restful stay. Highly recommended - the Katajanokka island is a great place to stay in Helsinki.

The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and a wonderful way to start the day. Delicious Columbian coffee and food: empanadas, arepas, salad with avocado, yoghurt with granola, and a baked omelet. The staff at the restaurant was helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. The neighborhood was charming, full of wonderful apartment buildings from the 1910's in Art Nouveau style, and it was so close to downtown, by foot or tram ride. Also there was a 24 hour grocery in the building, so you could always get something to eat.

Everything is within walking distance, making it easy to explore the city. 🌿 Sustainability & Service A big plus is that every night spent here is completely carbon neutral. There’s no traditional reception, but communication with the staff via the app was quick and efficient. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the common areas were well maintained.

Everything was wonderful from the very beginning of the booking process. Communication was exceptional – we received prompt and helpful responses to all our questions, along with kind assistance in finding places around the city. The location is perfect – right in the heart of the city, surrounded by landmarks, vibrant life, restaurants, and nightlife. What’s truly amazing is that, despite being in the city center, the hotel is tucked away in an inner courtyard, offering complete peace and quiet – you can’t hear a thing from the bustling streets! As for the facilities – we found and received even more than we expected. From comfortable beds and all necessary amenities, to phone chargers, and even a Polaroid camera with extra film – so much care was given to every detail! Thank you so much! We will definitely be coming back!

Amazing rooms, minimal but also with beautiful touches like the yoga mat, free grounded coffee, free gym and breakfast at the local cafeterias. Eco friendly, super clean spaces everywhere around the hotel, nice bath toiletries. I really appreciated the common areas, like shared kitchen and sitting area. Everything was amazing, one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed.

The laundry room was key - having two washers and two dryers and supplies was very helpful! I appreciated that the laundry room was coded to help protect our items from others randomly walking in. The location of the building was great and made getting around the city very easy. I was very pleased to see it was within walking distance of Cafe Kappeli which we visited for late afternoon coffee and early dinner - the food was phenomenal. We also took advantage of the Hop On Hop Off tour through Stromma and found the pick up spot conveniently close to a great breakfast cafe called Cafe Engel. We happened to get head colds while travelling so it was also a bonus that we were oriented right next to an Apotek (pharmacy). I love that the room had an electric kettle and coffee and tea in the room. Bathrooms were very nice and updated, complete with bidet. Everything felt very well kept, clean, and current.

A very centrally located hotel which is modern and clean. There's no staff on site and everything is done online but this is very easy using their platform. The room is very decent size and came with a small kitchenette including fridge. The hotel provided ground coffee and cafetière which I was very grateful for on the first morning. They also provided beautiful and good quality toiletries and an instax camera and film to take out and capture memories on your holiday. The TV was easy to use to cast streaming services and the communal kitchen was well stocked and clean. The hotel also provides a laundry which was free to use and included two washing machines, two dryers, drying racks and washing detergent. Hotel is walking distance to all the main sites, central station and lots of trams.

Great breakfast with lots of fresh options. I did not see typical Finnish items such as Karjalanpiirakka or porridge ;) The breakfast room was really large but not noisy. There were many people but it helped that there was a lot of space around the tables and I could collect by breakfast easily and without delay. Staff was friendly, the coffee machine was closd 10min before end of breakfast but I heard another customer asking to open it and the staff was happy to do it for him. Vegan options would always be welocme. The room was very comfortable as well as the bed. I especially liked that you could make the room dark with curtain and there was no bright light coming from TV which often happens. The location was perfect as I continued my journey by train

I have to say the Clarion Hotel Helsinki Airport really exceeded my expectations on every level. The room felt like something out of a five-star hotel, beautiful design, top notch cleanliness, and all the amenities were just perfect. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety, and the location couldn’t have been more convenient, just a breeze to get to from the terminal. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. Honestly, a perfect 10 out of 10.

After a long-haul flight, I arrived in the middle of the night and was so grateful the hotel was just a 5-minute walk away. The Scandinavian design made the place feel welcoming right away. My room was spacious and quiet, and the bed couldn’t have been more comfortable. The next morning, the breakfast was wonderful, with plenty of choices to start the day. Although it was a business trip, staying here really felt like a treat.

The breakfast was great- salmon, cheese, eggs, a variety of hot and cold items, etc. We had 2 sea view twin rooms which were cozy, light filled with floor to ceiling windows. The view was awesome. You will see marine traffic such as ferries, tourist boats and luxury cruise ships docking right next to the hotel. The location is ideal- walk just about everywhere or a tram stop is a block and a half away. Staff was friendly and professional and rooms were ready prior to check in tone which was good. The rooms are very quiet and we all got a restful night’s sleep.

I loved staying at this hotel and will look no further when staying in Helsinki in the future. The hotel is very well situated by the harbor, only a short walk from the main shopping area. The staff was kind and helpful and all my requests I had made before arrival were met. I really liked my room, it was big and bright and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, I would maybe have appreciated a bit more variety but it wasn´t really an issue. I used the sauna on the ground floor several times, it was small but nice and there is a lovely yoga and fitness room as well as an amazing rooftop area with a bar and great view over the city. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

The location of the hotel is brilliant, right next to the Market Square for food stalls, the sauna pools and the cruises to Tallinn (Viking) and the smaller nearby Finish islands. The modern stylish and Finish interior is beautiful with the perpetual sound of nature echoing throughout the building. The breakfast was superb and on for a long time 730am to 11am. The rooftop are provided an amazing views of the city and there is also a bar but I really loved the hammocks and wooden seats scattered throughout the wild flowers. The rooms are lovely with high ceilings and the nespresso coffee machine was a hit!

My room on the fourth floor was spacious and cozy, with a large, comfortable bed and a generous walk-in shower. A bathrobe and refillable Rituals toiletries added a nice touch of comfort. If I could wish for one small improvement, it would be a coffee machine in the room. There was a kettle, which is helpful, but a machine would have been a bit more convenient. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent – fresh, varied, and clearly made with care. There’s also a bar integrated into the hotel (though independently run), serving great cocktails in a relaxed atmosphere. Again, friendly service all around.

I am so glad I stayed at this hotel while I was in Helsinki, earlier this month. From the moment I walked in, I knew this place was going to be lovely. The front desk staff are super friendly and helpful, providing maps and suggestions of places to visit and restaurants to grab dinner at. It was like meeting up with old friends, talking to them. My room was beautiful, had plenty of space, and was flawless and clean. Everything about the room was perfection. I utilized the hotel's laundry service and give that an A+ as well. My items were all returned, well cared for, and smelled very nice. This hotel is located within walking distance of just about everything you'd want to see in Helsinki. I enjoy turning my trips into endurance adventures, and walked from my hotel to the Port of Helsinki to catch a ferry to Tallinn, Estonia, and then, walked back from the Port to my hotel. I enjoyed this walk very much and I'm glad I got to see more of Helsinki on foot. In short, the hotel is strikingly clean and tidy. All staff I ran across were friendly and attentive. My room was fantastic, spacious, and so welcoming after long days of walking in the cold. The bed was super comfy and the blankets were soooo warm. :) I am returning to Finland later this year and will be staying at this hotel again because of my incredible experience and solidified loyalty.

All aspects of this stylish hotel were excellent. Starting at check in where we were fortunate to be given early check in. Very welcome after 30+ hours of travelling. The superior room was stylish and well appointed. The bathroom was large with enough room for toilet bags on the vanity and the shower was large. Bathroom lighting and amenities both excellent. All clean and in good condition. The decor throughout the hotel was very stylish yet still managed to be cosy. The restaurant area was comfortable to eat or just sit and have a drink. Breakfast buffet was varied, good quality and had sufficient room for people to move around. Excellent location, in walking distance to shops, tourist sites, train station, bars and restaurants. Front desk staff friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and definitely would stay again. I couldn’t fault anything.

F6 is in a great location, walking distance to almost everything. We were upgraded to a beautiful room that was spacious and sumptuously decorated. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was great! All the staff were very helpful and friendly, particularly the young man who brought us a coffee and tea while we were waiting for the time to head to the airport. Make sure you have a cocktail in the cosy bar, they are exceptional. Breakfast is also wonderful with lots of choice. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel, couldn’t fault it.

I recently stayed at the NH Helsinki grand hansa and had an outstanding experience. the hotel’s location is excellent, right in the heart of helsinki, making it extremely convenient to explore the city’s main attractions, shops, and restaurants. the staff was highly professional, friendly, and attentive, ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay. One of the highlights was the spa, located in the semi-basement, which was accessible for free during the early morning and evening hours—a perfect way to relax and unwind. the breakfast offered both a rich buffet and à la carte options, with high-quality dishes that catered to all tastes. Overall, this hotel combines prime location, professional service, excellent wellness facilities, and delicious dining, making it a perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers in Helsinki.

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff is so friendly and helpful, the location couldn’t be better (close to tram stops and the train station, which brings you directly to the airport). The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are so clean and well planned with special touches. We decided to buy the breakfast for 25 euro and we are so happy we did- on Saturday and Sunday it is open until 13:00 and the food is fresh and delicious! We also enjoyed the a la carte menu included in the breakfast and the sparkling wine. Also, we had an early morning flight and there was coffee, juice and pastries downstairs for guests to have. All around, this hotel has excellent staff and has truly thought of everything to make the guests stay easy, comfortable and enjoyable! Thank you so much for everything!!

It is in the perfect location. Next to the central train station, in front of tram stop. Even though it liggers on a busy road, it was quiet in the room and there was no noise. The room was cozy, spacious and clean. The bed was big and comfortable and the bathroom so beautiful with a relaxing atmosphere. The brightness in the room and bathroom was adjustable. Large room for 3 adult guests (2 queen beds). Room was setup for our arrival - sufficient towels, pillows, glasses for 3 (rarely happens in most hotels). Observant staff replenished room items as needed. Restaurant (Version) was welcoming & served tasty food; opened late which was perfect for our late check-in. Service was great - appreciative of the kitchen staff for the accommodation. Front desk staff helpful & friendly. Fitness center is sufficient & held all the needed equipment. Clean sauna/shower area. Overall a top notch hotel in a great location.

We had a very nice 3 night stay, very cosy and comfortable room. The location was good, very central but a bit away from crowded streets (which is a positive). We would stay here again. Front desk team were very helpful and friendly and generally the team at breakfast were very good except for our first morning when I asked for some break approx 30 minutes before the end of breakfast service and was told that breakfast was over and there wasnt anymore bread which I found very strange!

Great location, a few minutes walk from the Esplanade and the market square. Very comfortable room with high quality toiletries and a good shower. Bed was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was extravagant! Must be one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The hotel was perfect for our three days in Helsinki. The hotel breakfast was excellent and the staff were great. A special mention for Moonie was lovely and very helpful with tips about the city. She thoughtfully bought me honey and lemon drink for my cough. The selection of food were both impressive and delicious. Our room was comfortable and very quiet. Lots to do in the area. Highly recommend.

Such a fantastic experience staying in this old prison! Climbed the central metal staircase was like being in a fancy Shawshank Redemption! The hotel is BEAUTIFUL and a short walk to the city centre, the spotless rooms are lovely and modern with high windows and sleek bathrooms. The cost of the stay included a buffet breakfast, Fika (cake and coffee from 3pm - 5pm) and dinner (a main or veg option with salads and soup) - a wonderful addition to the stay. Staff were friendly and allowed is to check in a little earlier than planned as our room was available. I would recommend this quirky,modern hotel to anyone - saying you spent some of your holiday in prison is also a talking point!

To stay in an old prison is a very novel idea and a great experience. It has been tastefully renovated whilst in keeping with the prison character. There is still a few cells that were left intact to inspect on the basement level. The rooms were very modern, clean and comfortable. Breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner was provided and was very tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a tram stop right outside and the prison is in walking distance to the waterfront and shops. High recommend a stay here.

Lovely hotel, don’t actually know it used to be a prison. It’s been renovated so well. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, lovey to have a bath as well as a shower in the bathroom. Delicious buffet breakfasts and dinner included. Only issue was that we felt the rooms should have been given a clean every day. However, really enjoyed our stay.

Rooms are fairly standard but the view of the sea more than makes up for any lack of luxuries. The hotel and grounds are full of original artworks which makes this hotel quite unique. The views are stunning and the restaurant was excellent with outdoor seating to enjoy the natural setting for breakfast, coffee, drinks or dinner. Though the choice was somewhat limited, especially for vegetarians, the quality of the food was superb. Breakfast was plentiful and had a great variety of fresh and delicious choices. We will long remember our stay at this wonderful hotel and hope to come back one day.

We were really pleasantly surprised by the historical significance of this hotel which was celebrating its 50th year. Built in 1975 and recently renovated, it has lots of 70s charm. The location is quiet and beautiful, a peaceful retreat. Breakfast was very good - hot and cold buffet. We ate in the Plats restaurant and were very pleased with the quality and presentation of the food. In addition there is a small cafe serving hot and cold drinks and a selection of food. Lovely views around the hotel to the sea and modern art/sculptures provided interest in and outside the building.

This was a super hotel. Our room was fantastic, quite big and very comfortable, and a lovely view of the water, with a lovely garden we could walk around. We had a delicious meal at the restaurant, sitting outside enjoying the view. The staff all spoke great English and were very friendly and helpful. Emma was particularly lovely. It was fantastic value. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in.

We enjoyed our one night stay at Hotel Hanasaari very much. It is a 15 minute scenic walk from the Kouvusaari Metro (once on the Metro, it is only a 10 minute ride to the main Helsinki Railway station). The room had a very comfortable bed, tea and coffee service, picture window with gorgeous water view, and a nice bathtub. Breakfast was very satisfying with good variety. Pool and sauna were also enjoyable. The highlight of this idyllic oasis would be the lovely paths for walking, running and biking (free bike usage from the hotel!). We would be just delighted to return to Hotel Hanasaari (Hanaholmen in Swedish).

I like the mini bar in the room and coffee in the room, a lot of hotels do not include this as many want you to buy it from the hotel, i like the music in the hallways and stairwells. there is also a sauna and gym. every staff member and housekeeping are friendly - i do not find this many friendly staff at most places i stay. The neighborhood is full of music studios , recording studios, creative spaces, mtv cool bars... lidl is 2 mins away, the tram is in front to take you anywhere you need to go . i also repect that there is a person at the desk 24 hours a day and you can check in anytime and not this self check in or no one working at night nonsense. the beds are extremely comfortable and proper mattresses. it is a hotel that makes sense and is perfect for any creative , artist, designer, musician or folks here to go out to the cool neighborhood bars and music scene

First of all, great service from all staff! Everyone I interacted with was friendly, helpful and lovely. Somehow got a free upgrade on my room, which meant an incredibly spacious room and bigger bed; it was so comfortable, I didn't want to get out of it. The bathroom was lush, great shower, and omg the heated floor!!! Loved the sauna open twice a day and 24h gym (it has a real squat rack!!!); also loved that it has a communal kitchen, unlike most other luxury hotels - which is great if you have dietary restrictions and can't eat out every day (or simply don't fancy it), also it's all Smeg and it looks super cool. Overall very well equipped, amazing facilities, looks cool, good location, friendly staff - top notch. :)

The folks is the sort of place that grows on you as you spend more time there. You begin to notice the attention to detail in your room and the environment, down to a dim light in the bathroom mirror that looks like the moon when it is on and the other lights are off. There is underfloor heating in the room so very cosy. There was stylish Nordic design in the room. I booked a boutique room and had a beautiful view looking out on a leafy avenue. Comfortable robes also. The sort of place to completely chill out. When I arrived I had a different room that not ideal. It was a bit darker and with a tiny bathroom. When I mentioned it to the hotel manager she was very professional and promptly showed me a selection of other rooms. I got the beautiful room with a view of the world going by. Really impressed with the staff and of course you can’t go far without meeting another Irish person! The hotel is in a very cool industrial setting and beside the tram to Kamppi. Walking distance to the Kallio district also with some cool spots. The breakfast is outstanding and a beautiful setting. The roof bar was also open and I went, it was very nice. Outdoor lighting at night is very cool. The staff kindly gave me a later checkout to allow me to go for a final walk around the area. A lot of places wouldn’t bother so this was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend and would stay again.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They helped me with my tram tickets and how to best get into town and to the airport. The room was quite spacious and impeccably clean. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The Folks Hotel Konepaja has the best sauna and steam bath area I have ever seen in a hotel. They provide a lot of different towels in the changing rooms as well as shampoo and soap in the showers. It really feels like you are going to a spa. I really enjoyed my stay here!

So both the check-in and check-out went smoothly, not having to wait in line for your turn. Check-in was possible after 3pm, but until then we could leave our luggage in a safe there. Check-out was at 12, so plenty of time to gather your stuff. Our room was big enough, with an even bigger double bed, perfect for a comfortable sleep. Pillows and the duvet were excellent too. It was possible to set the room temperature easily from a touchscreen device. The bathroom is well equipped with towels, toiletries and a hair dryer. The shower is very spacious and has both a hand and a rain shower. Everything was sparkling clean and convenient. The location is also good, not in the central area but within 2 mins walking to the metro with good connections. We didn't try the morning buffet, but I am sure it must be delicious. Especially that in the city center it is very hard to find a place where to not stay in a line to eat and also for a reasonable price, so I would really recommend getting the hotel breakfast instead. Overall, a fair priced hotel from which you can get a lot!

Exceptional hotel. No hassle at all. Very easy self check in with no humans which was fantastic and so fast. Room - Spacious, immaculate, nice view and tranquil. Everything looked brand new. Location- 20 minutes walk to the centre which isn’t bad, close public transport including metro. restaurants and supermarkets close too. Staff - I only interacted with Amelia to extend my stay and store my luggage. So professional, super friendly and very kind girl . Excellent service from her. This hotel is really beautiful — very clean, comfortable, and cozy. The check-in process was super easy, and there’s a vending machine, coffee, drinks, and hot water available on the first floor. It’s also very close to the train station. There are several supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making it very convenient for daily needs. The Helsinki Cathedral is about a 30-minute walk away, and it’s a nice scenic walk. I’ll definitely choose this hotel again the next time I visit Finland.

Perfect location, just near the subway and not far away from the city center. Comfortable room and bathroom, all was clean and gave the feeling of relaxation. Though I traveled just for fun, it would be a nice place to stay and work, cause there was a workspace and two coffee machines with ok price (2,5€ for any coffee). So highly recommend!

There is nothing much around the hotel but its proximity to the Airport and Metro/Bus stops makes it a great option for travellers.

The room was spacious enough to be comfortable, the bed was comfortable, the wifi was good, everything was clean and nice. The restaurant was good as well, better than average. The train station is just next to the hotel, so going to the airport and back is very easy, it is one stop and you can see what train to take by the stops shown on the wall down at the tracks. Very convenient.

Perfect location after arriving on a late night flight, with 24 hour reception so late check-in was greatly appreciated. Also the entrance to the underground Aviapolis train station is right next door so it took only 30 minutes to arrive to the very centre of Helsinki for only 4,40€. Extremely chatty, helpful, and friendly staff. Loved the stylish dark decor of my room. Extremely comfortable bed and variety of pillow sizes and thicknesses. Great breakfast buffet selection, including gluten-free and lactose-free. Will definitely stay here again.

My 'Superior King' room was clean, modern, spacious and bright with large windows overlooking the park. — Very good buffet breakfast (on weekends it's conveniently open until midday!), — If you arrive late and restaurants are closed – there's handy self-service mini-shop area in the hotel lobby with sandwiches, sweets and even socks, creams and umbrellas, — Lots of space to work with standing desks and quiet lounges, — Receptionist are friendly, always available and reply to your requests quite fast, — Just a 10-minute walk from Helsinki train station, — Rental bicycles and e-scooters available right outside the entrance, — Very reasonably priced, I would definitely stay here again.

Everything!! The room was comfortable, clean and modern. The gym & sauna were top of the range and had everything you needed from water to towels. The gym was open 24/7 and the sauna for 2 hours in the morning & 5 hours in the evening, all at no extra cost. The delicious & wide-ranging buffet-style breakfast was very good value at €18 pp. The hotel was also conveniently located near many different bus stops & tram lines but was central enough to also be in walking distance from major attractions.

I stayed at this hotel three years ago and had such a perfect experience that I decided to return. The location is excellent, just 10 minutes from the city center, close to public transportation, and near major landmarks. The breakfast buffet offers a nice variety of options, and the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The beds and pillows are super comfortable, and the shower is fantastic.

Scandic Helsinki Hub is in a great location. It is close to transport, cafes, restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions. There is a lovely park opposite the hotel. I recently spent 4 nights at the Indigo Hotel (Boulevard) Helsinki. I found it to be excellent and good value for money. The hotel is modern and in a good location to explore central Helsinki. It's about a 15 minute walk from the central railway station and there is a local metro station in Kampii which is a few minutes away. It's also 10 minutes walk from the historical area. There's plenty of eating places nearby and the main shopping area is close by too. I booked a standard room which was perfect for my needs. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was very powerful and everything was modern and worked. The room was very clean and nicely decorated and had a kettle, coffee maker, iron, safe, fridge amongst other things. I chose to add a breakfast option. The breakfast was very good with a very good selection of food. All the staff I met were very helpful, professional and friendly. I'd happily stay there again.

Location is excellent! Very close to the center (like 10-15 min walk), but not in the middle of the busy central area, which is perfect. The transportation is just 1-3 minute walk and has all the necessary public transportation needed for the main attractions and to go to the center, shopping area etc. The breakfast is very good, a-la carte options of omelets, and a choice of coffees. Rooms is excellent, spacious, but comfy and cozy, modern and quite new, in good condition. The shower has proper water pressure and different temperatures. The bathroom is spacious and comfortable for women. Coffee, teas, slippers, bathrobe, iron board, and iron - rooms have all the necessities for a comfortable stay! Staff is exceptionally warm, welcoming, polite, and helpful!

We had a great time staying in the hotel Indigo. The hotel is very clean and has a nice modern style. Staff was really helpful and friendly. We were allowed to check in early which really made it easy for us just to head out to explore Helsinki. We absolutely loved the comfortable beds and the bathroom with roomy shower. We started our day with their breakfast of great variety. They offer a buffet and also ordered warm breakfast from a menu, so you'll be sure to find something you'll like. The breakfast was available until 11 am and late checkout at 12 suited us perfectly. We have absolutely nothing to complain about and hence we're happy to leave an honest high rate review for the hotel. Looking forward to stay here again!

What an extraordinary hotel. The staff were very friendly, very professional, and very helpful. The room was very comfortable and slightly larger than what I was expecting. The bathroom and shower in particular were very comfortably sized by European hotel standards at this price point. The property was immaculately clean throughout. The breakfast buffet selection was large and of high quality, especially given the size of the hotel. The location was perfect, right near a tram stop. But the tourist core of Helsinki was much smaller than I was expecting so just about everything was within walking distance (except Suomenlinna) (which is on an island out from the harbor) (you have to take a ferry to get there) (but every place else is walkable).

Modern hotel located on Bulevardi which is a smart street in Helsinki. Great location easy to walk to many of the main attractions and there are bus and tram stops to take you to wherever you may want to go in the city. My room was peaceful although not much of a view as it looked into an inner courtyard. Still, who wants to spend a lot of time in their hotel room? Breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh and healthy options - definitely worth getting the included rate. There are quite a few good restaurants nearby including directly opposite so there are plenty of dinner options. What makes Hotel Indigo stand out is the staff - so helpful, friendly and happy.

I did not take breakfast. The location was pleasant and there were shops and restaurants within walking distance. It was a 30 minute walk to the centre of the city but a tram runs along the street in front of the apartments. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the Western Terminals where you can get the ferry to Tallinn, but again you can take the tram there if you like. The apartment itself was cosy and comfortable, with a view to the front over the surrounding area. One feature I particularly liked about the apartment was that it was on two levels, connected by a stairway, so that the bedroom area was on a kind of balcony, overlooking the living area. The reception staff at Unity were very courteous and helpful when I had to arrange for them to receive some luggage that had been delayed by the airline. The reception area itself was very well furnished, welcoming and comfortable. I stayed at Unity for 6 nights and I loved it and was quite sad when it was time to leave. If I come to Helsinki again in the future I will book a Unity apartment without hesitation!

We really enjoyed staying at this new apart-hotel. It’s convenient for both short and long stays. The main sleeping area with a large bed is on the second level. On the first level, there’s a small sofa, a table with two chairs, and a very well-equipped kitchen with everything you need, including a refrigerator. The sauna upstairs is available every day with a convenient schedule. Everything is brand new and modern. Breakfast was tasty, although it didn’t include hot dishes, but the staff were extremely friendly. They even waited for us when our flight was slightly delayed and were always ready to help. Access to the floors is only possible with a key card, making it very secure. There are many restaurants nearby, and we especially enjoyed the Turkish restaurant. The accommodation was a 15 minute walk to the centre and a similar distance to the ferry port. The accommodation had a mezzanine bedroom, with a small kitchen & lounge area below that had a fridge, microwave and small hob enough kitchen equipment, plates and cutlery to meet our needs. Our sofa was converted into a single bed to accommodate our 3rd guest. Everything was spotlessly clean. We all found the beds and pillows to be very comfortable with good quality linen leading to everyone having a great night's sleep. It was great to have a balcony to sit out on to have a drink in the evening. Breakfast was a simple continental style, and whilst not extensive it was of good quality. We used the rooftop sauna which had nice views over the city. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Welcoming and friendly. In house restaurant provided and excellent breakfast with good variety of choices with helpful and willing staff. The dinner menu is expansive and delicious. Numerous choices but bellini week menu was a standout surprise. King Suite was excellent, and every possible amenity was provided and catered for. The welcoming cocktails and chocolates in the room was a thoughtful touch and very much represented the whole welcoming feel of this hotel. Variety of pillow choices and styles etc. If you want to stay in central Helsinki, then i would recommend this hotel for its excellent service and great location.

Really elegant rooms and public spaces. Our suite was delightful, with a decent-sized bathroom and walk in shower, no bath. Comfortable bed, good linen, nice pillows, advanced controls of lighting, which is helpful. Really excellent buffet breakfast. There's a rooftop bar open to all, not just guests, with great views and good cocktails (we only had one, royal mojito, so I generalise). Very good front desk, with helpful staff who not only found us the really nice suite but also recommended a very picturesque Finnish restaurant for the evening. Would happily return.

This is the third time we have stayed at the Torni from back in 2008, always a fabulous stay, this time we took the King Suite and stayed for 10 days 27 Dec - 5 Jan, the room was spacious, comfortable bed, bathroom all good except the bidet shower did not work, excellent location to the city centre, amazing views from the sky bar, American bar for cocktails, art deco - all in all an amazing building

Really loved this hotel. It was clean, spacious, in a great location and there was a rather fancy, a bit old-fashioned vibe there. I upgraded my room and there were 2 non-alcoholic drinks included per day, and the room came with a Nespresso machine. The staff were helpful and polite. I also really liked the American Cocktail Bar downstairs. The breakfast was good. I recommend going down for breakfast at 7.30 when it starts, it was nice and quiet then, but got busier at 8.

Especially friendly check-in and overall experience with the staff. I could complain about the small and slow lift or the expensive drinks but the it would represent my feelings after a splendid two-night stay. Excellent location, comfy room, stunning views from the room... Tasty breakfast and spectacular roof-top bar. Everything a bit luxurious but also made to please in a friendly way so that everybody feels welcome. My new favorite in Helsinki!

Beautiful, modern hotel, with an art deco style and vibe. The look and feel of the hotel is lovely. Excellent location in an upmarket neighborhood, about 5-8 minutes walk from the main boulevard. It is quiet and understated - perfect for a restful nights sleep. The staff were exceptional. Even when the bar was closed there was no issue ordering drinks from the restaurant and consuming them in the bar area, There's also a charming outside bar/dining area next to the restaurant. Rooms (including bathroom) were a generous size with all the facilities expected of an upscale hotel. The beds were particularly comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Lilla Robert’s. The hotel is huge! Very central for getting around Helsinki. The staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby is really funky and welcoming. The hotel is a bit tricky to navigate as it’s so big but it’s a fun adventure! The room was beautifully decorated with big old style windows. The staff were able to open a window for us with a key which was a real bonus as lots of hotels have locked windows and no fresh air. Bed was very comfy. The tv was a little small. Breakfast was in a beautiful setting and tasty.

I like it because it is a boutique hotel, I like staying in places like these that I don’t get lost in a concrete jungle, the reception area was warm and welcoming, the room size is average (I booked for Style room. I was expecting a bit bigger room as I see in photos it seems larger but photos are deceiving sometimes. We were given the lowest floor and our view is the building across which can see us through our sheer curtains. What makes my stay memorable and special are the staff in the restaurant, they are extremely gracious and polite and kind and very accommodating nothing to fault but admire their integrity and personalities. They made us feel so at home each time we ate at Krog Roba . The staff there are highly commendable. We stayed 4 nights in this property and the first day we missed breakfast due to jet lag, when we got there the restaurant just closed and we were dying for hot coffee, one of the ladies offered us a pot of coffee to take with us to the room which was such a sweet gesture. Little things like that goes a long way and so I say I rate the staff there 10 stars!!!!

Amazing stay! Central location - 5 min walk from main train station and all city center attractions. Superb service - all we asked was answered very quick (luck of reception was not a problem at all). It was absolutely amazing, we were all very surprised. The rooms were very clean, it was very comfortable and everything you need there. The interior was beautiful and so sofisticated. The kitchen was clean and new, same as washing room even with tablets etc. Complimentary snack too, nice touch. Location was great, next to subway which we didn’t use because you can walk everywhere since it is in the city center and close to Cathedral. Really amazing stay and I cannot recommend it enough. It would be a go to place while in Finland.

Cozy small place, clean. You get some small perks like nice ground coffee and chocolate in your room, as well as a gym access. We liked the large communal kitchen which even had free essentials like milk or even instant porridge and we saw old fruits were getting replaced and the kitchen cleaned. There is also a laundry room and a luggage storage room- all accessible with your room code. There is no staff on site apart from the cleaners but there is a quick WhatsApp support. Location is perfect - very central and close to the station. There is a supermarket which is open until 10pm just downstairs (entry through the metro).

I really liked the location – I didn’t want to stay right in the busy city center, and this was just perfectly outside of it. Tram number 9 runs straight from the central railway station to right next to the hotel, and the West Harbour is also nearby. The area is modern, colorful, and full of nice cafés and restaurants. The sea is just around the corner, too! The hotel’s art theme was lovely – playful and colorful from the moment you walk into the lobby. Books, games, and art supplies were freely available to use. The staff were super friendly and relaxed. The breakfast was varied and the coffee was great, which is a big plus for me. Each room had a different theme, the bed was really comfortable, and the blackout curtains were a lifesaver for getting good sleep. I honestly can’t think of anything negative! This was already my second stay at this hotel, and it’s now my number one favorite in Helsinki.

The hotel is modern, very clean and tidy and the decoration is amazing. The staff was super kind and helpful and the facilities in general were exceptional. I really loved my room, the decoration was very cool (I used to listen to the band HIM when I was a teenager so being in a room with decoration inspired by that band was really awesome). The breakfast was amazing, as a vegetarian I was very pleased to see that I had several options to choose from. Overall I was very happy with my stay.

Breakfast was plentiful with options for different dietary needs. No lunch/dinner service, but lots of nearby restaurants and two supermarkets just steps away. They also have parking on the ground for €11 euro a night.

Book this place. I didn't want to leave! Great price but also just a wonderful, lovely place. Comfy, clean and has EVERYTHING you need. The staff were friendly. The check-in process is easy. Room came equipped with extra blankets, laundry, detergent for the washer, an oven, dishwasher. Has a fun feeling too ( I noticed a movie theater next to the sauna? And a library!) but is also extremely private, quiet, comfortable and a great place to relax...or really never leave ( I love to explore but this place tempted me to stay in a bit more than usual!) Came too late for the normal check-in, but it didn't matter because the self-check in was easy. The property was clean and well kept. Bed and pillow were very comfortable, I slept really well. You can completely dim the room which was also a big plus. Loved the tiny gym, felt almost like a big gym :) They supply multitasking shower shampoo/soap, which was nice. They had a breakfast pilot going on, which was surprisingly good (sandwich with vegan mayo, avocado and tomato + Froosh smoothie + coffee), hopefully they keep the breakfast availability!

We had a fantastic experience at Noli Myyrmäki! We requested a spotless clean studio, and they delivered beyond expectations—the space was immaculate. It was a pleasure to walk into such a fresh and welcoming environment. Our kids were so happy, and the overall stay was smooth and enjoyable. I explored Helsinki mostly on foot, and for me, the location of Hotel Mestari was perfect. It’s right next to the Kamppi Shopping Center and just a short walk (around 10 minutes) from both the Kamppi metro and bus/train stations, as well as the central railway station. Many of Helsinki’s main attractions – such as the Esplanadi, Senate Square, Uspenski Cathedral and the Rock Church – are all within 6–10 minutes’ walking distance. I had originally booked a Deluxe Room with balcony, but was offered an upgrade to a Junior Suite. I accepted, but the suite unfortunately had no balcony, no view, and no window in the bedroom. However, the room was very quiet and very well equipped. The staff was reserved in a typically Finnish way, but friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK – a typical buffet like you now find in many hotels – nothing particularly special, but nicely presented.

The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices. Our room was spacious, well-equipped, and very quiet. The bed and bedding were comfortable - which was much appreciated after a long flight and a few days dealing with jetlag. The location was perfect for us - within walking distance (or a short tram ride) to most attractions, with many amenities (shopping, restaurants, markets) nearby. We also enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and felt very safe. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The gym had all we needed for cardio, weights, and stretching.

Scandic Grand Central Helsinki is located in this stunning historic building designed by the famous Eliel Saarinen next to the Central Railway Station, where old-fashioned charm meets modern style. Built in 1909, this hotel recently renovated in 2021 has 491 rooms. It's fantastic locale by the railway station and it is within 15-20 minutes walking to marina ferry terminal area. It's a lovely vintage building, and loved the old world charm and ambience. There are long corridors to the rooms, just keep a look out for the rooms number directions. Room is decently large. We had a King sized bed, very comfy mattress which had sound sleep. Although, unluckily we had the room next to the station, it is incredibly quiet. Perhaps the double paned windows or simply no loud talking from people at the station. Didn't need to use the ear plugs provided. The room and bathroom is well cleaned every day. Has a well stocked mini bar. Brekkie is a vast selection of continental, cold cuts, and hot American breakfast, bacon, scrambled eggs, grits, sausages and etc. Many dining area to find seat, the bar, inner restaurant as well as the patio that's in the inner courtyard. As it was the early June weather is great in the mornings, we had our breakfast out there most of the time.

Staying in this hotel was a dream come true! Our first visit to Helsinki...and we were coming to take in the architecture of Finnish architects Eliel Saarinen and Alvar Aalto. No other place to stay but the Scandic Grand Central Hotel designed by Saarinen and his colleagues in 1909! It is adjacent to the historic Helsinki Central Station, meaning that many historic sites and restaurants are walkable from the hotel. We arrived hours before the 4pm check-in time so we left our luggage in Reception until we officially checked in after 4pm. It was a busy Saturday afternoon so we patiently waited our turn. As you enter the hotel, look around and enjoy the beauty of some of Saarinen's design elements! Each guest receives a brochure that highlights all the Saarinen design and other historical elements for your own self-guided tour of the hotel. Worth taking advantage of! Our room was spacious and clean and comfortable. There is a complimentary breakfast buffet that should not be missed! All types of foods from sweet to savory, from healthy to decadent, from cold to hot, from Finnish dishes to American dishes are available for your meal! It's all self-serve, and plenty of different rooms in which to enjoy your breakfast. If we ever return to Helsinki, we'll be booking a room here!!

June 2025 - Two night stay. Very nice hotel in a great walkable location in Helsinki city center. Room was nice size for short stay, honestly didn't spend much time in room during summer visit as there is much to explore in Helsinki. Very clean and comfortable room, well maintained and appointed with nice linens, towels, and comfortable bed and bedding. Good sleep quality in a quiet courtyard view room. Good breakfast buffet and friendly service. Had drinks on the street side terrace, nice area of the city.

Hotel is in the total centre of Helsinki, within walking distance to the sights, cruise port, restaurants, bars, etc. The furnishings and equipment of the room were modern, comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Tasty and rich breakfast. We will definitely choose the hotel again on our next visit to Helsinki.

There was so much to like, the room was spacious and bright. The lights had different settings for night lights where the lights were not as bright if you needed a light on in the middle of the night. I was able to cast my phone to the TV I wish more hotels had this feature. The bed was so comfortable and I had a fantastic nights sleep. The bathroom was a decent size with ritual shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel offered a great selection for Breakfast that was included in the price along with several great vegan options including oat milk, vegan cheese and vegan yoghurts. I ordered some food for the restaurant in the evening and the food again was very enjoyable. When we return to Helsinki we will always use this hotel going forward.

Location, location, location! The hotel is just off the lobby of Pasila rail terminal, where all intercity and local trains out of Helsinki stop, so it's very convenient for travelling to/from other parts of Finland, or to airport, and locally. FAO summer visitors, it's also about 10 minute walk from Linnanmaki theme park and you can see the theme park from 'city view' rooms, which look towards Helsinki, and the sea beyond. These rooms are also great for trainspotters, it's kind of fun to observe the double deckers and other trains going back and forth. But it's very quiet - you don't hear traffic noise at all. The style of rooms is modern and we loved the window wall :D We loved the location 'at the mall' as it was fun to shop and visit the food court, and many cafes. There's also 24h Alepa store with salad bar, snacks, drinks, etc. We tend to come here on every Helsinki trip with family as it's cheaper than central Hki but the mall means there's something to do - even cinema - until late, which is great with teenagers :D There's also amazing breakfast with Finnish delicacies - try rahka (creamy berry/yoghurt mix) and Karelia rice pies with egg butter and a bit of crispy bacon on top :D And there's luggage storage if you head out to exploring on your arrival / departure day.

Perfect location coming from airport, train station under hotel and shopping mall ( discounts in a shops by showing your hotel key!)so easy to continue towards middle Finland. Reception staff very friendly. Room in 16th floor with amazing views, clean and comfortable. Bar cosy with an excellent choice of wines. Breakfast with cold and warm sections plentiful and delicious. Will certainly stop again this coming summer.

Business meeting with pre-booked conference room was organized well. The central location is great with an easy access by public transport or car. The hotels conference room floor was tidy, modern and comfortable with options to adjust the room settings, like lighting. The breakfast buffet was great with abundant options, from hot to cold. The lunch had various selection of salads and vegetables and multiple options of tasty main courses too. Afternoon coffee break included small snacks, vegetables with guacamole and delicious cakes.

Breakfast offered a generous variety, with plenty of options to suit different tastes. There was a good selection of breads and spreads, alongside various cereals. One particularly notable feature was the impressive assortment of cakes, which added a delightful touch to the morning meal. However, the warm food left something to be desired—it could certainly benefit from some improvements in both quality and variety. Overall, I would rate the breakfast experience a solid 8 out of 10. The room itself was a pleasant surprise—modern in design, tastefully decorated, and most importantly, very clean. It provided a comfortable and relaxing space to unwind, contributing positively to the overall stay.

Hotel Helka has everything you could want for a comfortable stay in Helsinki. The breakfast buffet is excellent, and there is a fridge and microwave available to guests. Getting into town is walkable via the old railway line which runs along the middle of the street, or there are frequent trams which stop nearby. The bar is a quiet but friendly space to hang out in the evening after a busy day. The best thing though is the sauna 🤗 free to use mornings and evenings. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful hotel. My daughter and I stayed for a few days and loved the location, the style of the hotel and the delicious breakfast. The staff was kind and helpful and the rooms are comfortable and very clean. We also loved the guest sauna. It's a quick walk to lots of shops, transportation and restaurants, and not far from central station. We will stay here again.

From the polite and helpful check in, this hotel had a welcoming vibe that never diminished. My partner is a serious fan of Aalto, so the ultra stylish, and extremely comfortable, rooms were a big hit. The area is very convenient to restaurants and shops, with the vibrant area of Kamppi just a short walk away. Finally, breakfast was satisfying and had a great selection to choose from.

The location was superb with all the major sights at the city centre being at a walking distance. The rooms were comfortable and very well maintained and the breakfast spread was terrific. The WiFi was quick and dependable. A special mention of the front desk and service staff who were courteous, helpful, and made our stay so very memorable.

Staff were helpful, attentive and friendly. Junior suite was spacious and good facilities. I liked the complimentary coffee, bottles of water and sweets. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with great range of items and made to order waffles and omelette. Great location to the city, easy access to the tram. I liked the proximity to the local K market store for getting snacks and water. The suite offered use of the lounge, this was excellent with happy hour offering some wine, beers and nibbles. The pool was great with clean and spacious facilities. Room was quiet and had air conditioning and openable window. Bath tub was big with good overhead shower. We liked the body wash and moisturiser. Overall excellent.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, special thanks to Greta at reception for her warm and professional service. I appreciated the possibility for an early check-in and felt very welcome from the start. The room was clean, calm and modern, with large windows and a beautiful city view. I liked the mix of retro and modern design, especially the humorous touch with the old phone and hair dryer (a modern one was also provided). The bathtub was also spacious and bed was comfortable.

Lots of breakfast options (mainly continental/Finnish) with gluten free alternatives. Hotel is in an excellent location for visiting centre of Helsinki - 5 mins walk from Esplanadi park, Helsinki port and Old Market Hall, 10 mins walk to Helsinki cathedral and Allas sea pool. Plenty of restaurants around ranging from expensive authentic Finnish food, to cheaper fast food options.

My travelling companion and I rate this hotel very high and recommend it without hesitation. I would consider this as a boutique hotel yet one that was very reasonably priced. This was the best hotel I stayed at on my three week, 4-country Scandinavian vacation. The rooms were modern, very veal and very spacious. The entire hotel had a very nice personal and “homey” feel to it. Best of all was the staff, the front desk staff in particular. Emmi, Mats and Julia simply could not have been more kind, friendly, gracious or helpful. Nothing was a bother and they all went above and beyond. For example, one day we had an early morning departure for an all-day excursion. I only mentioned this in passing and yet without any prompting at all, Emmi asked if I would perhaps enjoy an early morning coffee and “take-away” breakfast or have a singular early sitting for breakfast. All this so we would not miss out on a breakfast that was provided with our rooms. Not many front desk staff personnel I’ve encountered have been that proactive or anticipate that well and I travel a lot! Well done Hotel Fabian! It is not surprising you are a multiple-time Trip Advisor Award winner. Thanks very much for such a wonderful stay!

This was my second, but not the last time at Hotel Fabian. The location is perfect - in walking distance from everywhere in the city center but at the same time very safe and quiet. There are also nice walking routs near by, f. ex. Kaivopuisto and beautiful Ullanlinna. The service at the hotel is always and in every situation first class. The hotel and the rooms are very clean and stylish. The breakfast is one of the best I have enjoyed in Finland ever. There are not too many options, but I'm sure everyone can find something to eat and drink. Especially I appreciate the quality, peaceful atmosphere and service, it feels like home made. In summer time you can have your breakfast at the terrace which is very nice.

Bonus points for having a TV that allowed me to use a device via HDMI and/or very easily Chromecast to it. The hotel reception and restaurant staff were really, really friendly and helpful. The cleaning team were awesome, too, and very conscientious. I'd removed the duvet from my cover because I'm used to a very thin one at home, and they very thankfully understood and didn't try to put it back. The breakfast buffet was very good (lots of options for vegetarians and vegans!) and anything that had run out by the time I arrived was very quickly replenished. Everything looked very clean all the time. Overall, the hotel interior and service all felt very luxury!

Room - 9/10! The room was very big and spacious! We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the cleanliness! The bathroom was a smaller size, but very comfortable and it had everything that you needed. The bed is comfortable and so are the pillows (which for me are a hit or miss), one firm and one more soft. Amenities - 10/10! The hotel has an airport shuttle which is amazing! They also had late check-out which we received as a complementary upgrade since we were leaving the next day; also an amazing perk that we really appreciated! The breakfast was included in the price, and it was really nice! You had cooked food like eggs, sausages, waffles, a fruit bar, a cereal bar, a cold-cuts and cheese section, bread and toast section, a jam and yogurt bar, a coffee station, a juice station, all very good! They even had gluten free things, and non-dairy milks. Location 8/10 - The location was good, it was close to bus stations, quite close to the airport, and close to a Lidl (about a 10-minute walk). We walked around the area before we left for the airport, and it was very nice and peaceful! You could even walk to the airport, since there is a sidewalk everywhere, but it would take about 20-25 minutes. The price is also good for an airport hotel that provides breakfast and free airport shuttle! Would stay here again, especially if we have a long layover flight, but also if we are visiting Helsinki since there are many busses that go into the city!

Clean room, comfortable beds, bathroom clean with everything needed including hands washing and shower gel. There is a small kitchen corner with a fridge, microwave a kettle, so you could have meals on the room. The hotel has a sauna which has a great view to the landscape nearby. Breakfast has multiple options and it starts at 4:15, so if you have an early flight, you can grab a quick bite, which is great. Staff was professional and very helpful.

The location is close distance to the airport and provides shuttle service. It was in walking distance to public transportation. A restaurant is at the site and provided a free buffet style breakfast. Dinner and alcoholic beverages are available at cost. Pinja at the front desk was EXTREMELY helpful in helping me to navigate travel via public transportation via an app. The room had a refrigerator, microwave, eating utensils, plates, and electric pot for tea. The bathroom was small but worked for this solo traveler. The dark curtains/drapes were perfect since the sun sets late and rises early.

First and foremost: the staff. I had the pleasure to discuss with Abdi, Sini, Eeli and George. Awesome people they are! We had the opportunity to use two different rooms: a regular two-twin-beds room and the Lucky You suite. The regular room had everything to satisfy us, even though it is a little small by North American standards. However, the decor and the furniture made it comfortable and lively. Also, the space is well used and the furniture is efficient. What can I say about the Lucky You suite? Well it’s like living in an Elinoora dream. Very surprising and cozy, because it doesn’t feel like a hotel room at all. Private sauna anyone? The rooms also had the luxurious Finnish soap and shampoo brand that is all the rage here: Lumene. Our Expedia deal included the breakfast buffet. What a great way to start your day! There is every Finnish breakfast food you can dream of, including white sliced bread and a toaster for the North Americans among us. And don’t forget that Finland is a lactose-free dreamland. The buffet food is super well presented and the eating area is quite large, well decorated and very clean. There is also a fancy coffee machine and a tea bar in the lobby that are free to use and accessible 24/7. Enough said: I will gladly return to this place every time I visit Espoo.

Heymo 1 is very close to a Metro and tram stop, so easily accessible from the airport or the centre of Helsinki. Its facilities are modern throughout and both the bedroom and bathroom were spacious (the shower was particularly good). Breakfast is €10.45 and is well worthwhile as it is a buffet and also considering the cost of eating out in Helsinki. Overall I would stay at Heymo 1 again and would recommend it to everyone.

The cottage was spacious, clean and comfortable. It also had a good range of facilities. The site is very well maintained and the access to the beach is great. We loved that you could hire a football from reception. A 20-minute walk from the site takes you to a great place where you can hire kayaks and rowing boats and a more attractive and peaceful beach.

I was visiting the Expo Centre so the location was excellent, with a connection to the Expo Centre on the first floor. The staff were all superb: friendly, helpful, smiling all the time and always behaving as if they're pleased to see you. The room and communal areas were all clean and very comfortable. I only ate in the relaxed bar / restaurant but it was always superb. The shower was excellent, the bed very comfortable, the Wi-Fi excellent, the bedroom quiet and comfortable. I look forward to staying again and would highly recommend.

On the 16th floor there is a restaurant, and bar with a view, as well as a sauna, and a swimming pool. Breakfast was so delicious, many different options. Breakfast staff also very helpful. Usually I don’t write many reviews but this I have to do it. This hotel is 10 out of 10. The staff is super friendly and smiling and make small jokes 😊 The breakfast is on top. Everything you need. The pool, sauna and gym were really well maintained, very clean and a nice place to spent some free time. There was drinking water everywhere. The sky bar is also a beautiful fancy place to see the sunset and have a nice cocktail. The rooms are very spacious, beds very comfortable and very clean. The view of the hotel is breathtaking - very panoramic. It is also located literally next to the public transport. If I visit Helsinki again, I will definitely stay here 😊

We upgraded the room to have a sea view, and it was worth it! The pool and sauna at the roof top were awesome, and the rooftop bar offered a beautiful view over the city. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly, especially the person at the reception who told that she had just started her job there. The breakfast was exceptional too, there was even honey from their own beehives! According to my daughter, this was the best hotel she's ever been!

Very modern clean hotel. They had really cool decor and music playing in reception, their 16th floor bar is amazing! Wait until it gets dark to really appreciate it and the view. We were there on both Friday and Saturday nights and it was packed on both. Cocktails were fab and staff were amazing! Everything! Staff was friendly, hotel is clean, beds were comfy, and breakfast was great. We were able to store our luggage for a little while during the day and then catch a shuttle for our departing flight late in the afternoon. Loved having a balcony to relax on, and it was nice and quiet so we slept through the night very peacefully. Many outlets to charge devices. Room is equipped with a kettle and hair dryer. Would stay here again.

The Pilot Airport hotel is located in Vantaa, a green living aria close to the airport and a free shuttle bus is available. The place is offering all you need for a short stay - comfortable beds, variable food for breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. The staff are very kind and helpful. The transport in Helsinki and the region is very well organised and we were in the center of the capital in no time. Whenever possible, we walked around Vantaa, enjoying the fresh air and the well-kept homes. We had a wonderful stay and excellent impressions of the capital Helsinki and the country.

A keenly priced hotel just 6 minutes drive from the airport. I had a very early flight the next day so I'm glad that breakfast was available from 5am. It was a bit basic but good value. The room was quite small but very quiet so I was able to get a good night's sleep. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. The 200g steak was absolutely delicious. Plenty of parking. The room had a kettle but no cups or drinks provided. There was an empty fridge. I think tea and coffee should have been provided. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is near to the airport. They have shuttle service from Airport. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They willingly can answer any of your doubts. There is one room underground where you have microwave, kettle and iron service. Very accomodative place. Our flight was at 6.45am. We had our breakfast there at 3.30am and shuttle service at 4.25am. Very helpful indeed. It is even very clean. Highly recommended for those having transit in Helsinki.

There is a shopping centre on the other side of the street, with a maaasive supermarket that sells pretty much everything you might possibly need and more (including non-food items like clothes). The room was very nice, with a lovely view of the bay, and the bed was comfortable. Good shower and lots of space for the toiletries in the bathroom. Amazing breakfast - I was spoilt for choice, and everything was fresh and tasty. The breakfast space was bright and inviting. I absolutely loved my stay and miss it already!

The hotel is located near a metro station so it's easy to reach from Helsinki Airport - Train Station - Metro. City center is a nice 20-30 min walk from the hotel, very easy to do. The room was spacious and clean, had a fridge, comfy beds and a good shower. Across the street there's a 24/7 supermarket (perfect for late night snacks) and a nice park 5 minutes walking away. The breakfast was very varied, with healthy options and also gluten- and lactose free options. The room was quiet despite the construction going on in the area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A large and comfortable hotel, located close to a shopping mall, bus, tram and underground, just 35 minute walk to the city centre. A very nice area, quiet and close to the water. The room was reasonable size and the bed comfortable, shower very good. The breakfast and evening meals were buffet, and fine. Helpful and friendly staff. I would certainly stay here again. No complaints at all.

The location of this Scandic hotel could not have been better…we arrived close to midnight and were able to walk over to the hotel quickly and easily. The room was not very big, but comfortable for our stay. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was excellent- so many choices and the chef was very friendly.

The room was spotlessly clean and modern. The shower was great and the beds were very comfortable. Also it was very quiet in the room and easy to get a good night's sleep. The young woman who checked us in was wonderful.

Hilton Helsinki Airport was a great choice for our stay! The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the overall service level was exactly what you'd expect from a Hilton – smooth, professional, and attentive. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was quiet and well-equipped, perfect for a good night’s rest before or after a flight. One small note: even though we stayed in an executive room, it was a bit smaller than what we’re used to from other Hilton locations. Still, everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. Convenient location, excellent service, and great comfort – would definitely stay here again!

The convenience to the airport is what makes this hotel ideal for a short stay. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. The update in 2012 has made the rooms more modern and accessible. Typical standard rooms come with two twin beds. We requested and received a king size bed which was quite comfy. The body shampoo and soap products were good. The executive lounge was small and offered evening appetizers along with wine and beer. There are few quirks about the room that show a lack of attention to detail. For instance, the shower has great water pressure but there’s not a handle to close the shower door from the inside therefore water poured onto the floor outside before I could pull it shut. The other minor design flaw was the lid on the tissue box didn’t fit so was just angled inside making it hard to grab one tissue. Also, the clock in the gym didn’t work. Overall, it’s quite adequate and comfortable. The breakfast buffet has a wide selection of options and space for seating.

I have stayed here previously and will always return. A bathtub is always a big plus for us before/ after a trip. A perfect breakfast always during travel. The blankets hug you gently like a soft cloud ✅😊 The staff at breakfast very active and helpful. Overall exceptional service. Stanley was very attentive to the children at breakfast. Thank you!

GREAT airport stay. This hotel gets it! We had a 6 am flight at the end of a holiday trip, so stayed at this airport Hilton to help make the morning easier. Very helpful staff at check in. HHonors status got us lounge access. A sweet, area with a nice evening buffet-drinks. Again very helpful staff. Most amazing - they have a breakfast buffet set up and open at 3:30 am in the event that you want to eat before a very early flight. I have never stayed at an airport hotel that was this thoughtful. The restaurant is open until 23:00 on the other end of the day. There is discussion on the location. There are about four hotels located on the airport grounds which can be reached walking rather than by shuttle or car. It is about 300 meters from the airport building to the Hilton lobby. Most of the walk is covered, but not enclosed. This should not be an issue for anyone who can get from security to the gate.

We stayed at VALO for one night when we arrived at Helsinki. It was me and my 4 year old daughter and my sister and her two daughters (11 and 13). We loved it! Reception were so helpful, I emailed them before we arrived and they secured us rooms next to each other. The rooms were bright, stylish, clean and functional. The bathroom is compact with toilet and shower. You can cast TV programs from your phone/tablet to the TV in the room. The breakfast was delicious - lots of choice, and if you ask, they will bring you a vegan plate with a vegan croissant, tofu and vegan cheese. There are alternative milks available (oat, soya). Great for me as I am vegan. The star of the show is the wellness area. Just stunning. The indoor pool is warm and at 90cm deep was perfect for my 4 year old to swim and play. The older girls loved the outside area with two saunas, hot tub and cold water plunge pool - which was very cold! The views were lovely from the rooftop. We left our luggage at the hotel in the left luggage room and explored the city, it was easy to get trams into the centre of Helsinki (approx. 30 mins). The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend VALO for a relaxing stay in Helsinki - excellent value for money - thank you!

I found the location to be extremely convenient. I stayed in a sea-view room, and the sunrise views were absolutely stunning. The hotel offers a swimming pool on the top floor, which, though small, was perfectly fine as I had it to myself. There are also balconies with sunbeds, ideal for relaxing and sunbathing. The fitness center is small as well, but with a beautiful sea view that makes the space feel more pleasant, and again, I found it empty during my stay. One of the highlights of my experience was the breakfast buffet, which was rich, varied, and delicious. The hotel’s restaurant is a pizzeria that opens after 4 p.m., offering excellent food at very reasonable prices. Lastly, the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, adding to the overall positive experience.

We have just returned from 3 nights at the hotel. We had a King room on the executive floor with a water view room. The rooms was modern and a good size. We would have preferred a walk in shower but apart from that everything was very good and quiet at night. Breakfast is of a high quality with lots of different options to suit all tastes. We had drinks nightly in the large and modern bar area. Great selection of beers and wine. Darren was great and friendly at the bar. Service throughout from check in to the bar and restaurant was excellent. Location overlooking water is very nice and an easy 10 mins walk to Senate square and 10 mins to Helsinki station. Hakaniemi Market Hall is just a few mins behind the hotel.

the room was superb, breakfast was incredible perfect for my 3 days stay, Even i'm having the same breakfast everyday but it's just too good. walking distance to metro station, we've even tried to walk back from city center to hotel, which is about 20 mins and not too bad. the front view of the lake/river/sea was amazing as it was frozen during my visit - end Feb, early Mar. the elevator was quick and have nice view to the restaurant. had dinner there, all was good.

Very pleasant stay at the Hilton Strand Helsinki. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, with great views of the water. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was of good quality. The location is convenient, close to the city center yet quiet. Service was professional and efficient. Some small improvements in room amenities could make the experience even better. Highly recommended for both business and leisure stays.

Hilton is my preferred hotel chain choice. Having achieved Gold status I’m used to getting great service. This full service Hilton exceeded my expectations. Anastasia on the front desk was terrific. I was upgraded to the executive floor with the benefits of that. The fitness room and sauna were the best. Buffet breakfast abundant of food choices for travelers around the world. Dinner and drinks at Bro the in-house restaurant was delicious. Location near a bus line to central station and the airport. Top-notch Hilton service and property! Thanks for a great 4-night stay.

Radissons always have a good standard and the Seaside is no different. Very helpful, multilingual staff on reception and in the bar / restaurant. Our room was on the 7th floor, very quiet, a good size, well furnished and very comfortable bed. Internet connection is strong. It did take a long time for hot water to get to the shower but once it did it was fine although the shower is quite gentle. The breakfast buffet has a very extensive range of breads, crackers and pastries plus very nice potato bread. Also a lot of fruits, salads, charcuterie and cured salmon and herring. Gimis restaurant is open for lunch and dinner featuring a modern Finnish style menu and reasonable (not excessive) sized portions. Short but good wine list and not excessively expensive. The hotel is near several tram stops and just a short ride to the city centre and about 20 minutes to market square and the ferries to Suominlinna and elsewhere.

Great location, close to water, bars and restaurants. A large supermarket within walking distance was the cherry on top. The breakfast was amazing! The restaurant was very stylish and pretty and the dinner menu read beautifully but unfortunately we didn't get a chance to dine in. Staff were very friendly. Partial view of the water was great. Very clean and quiet. We were 4 couples travelling together and got our rooms next to each other and also had a large breakfast reserved for us each morning, so we could seat together, which was great.

The hotel is easily accessible from the city center, either on foot or by tram. The reception staff were very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. The sheets and bedding were very clean. Air condition was perfect. There was a big screen TV in the room. There is a bathtub in the bathroom, in which you can relax also you can use the spa on the lower floor. Breakfast was excellent. At the reception, they offer complimentary candy, fruits, and cold water. They store your luggage free of charge before check-in and after check-out. There is a large supermarket nearby where you can find everything you need. The surrounding area is beautiful, right by the harbor.

Great hotel, delicious breakfast, they have upgraded us to a family room and ensured we were satisfied throughout our stay! I haven’t felt so comfortable since long time and I am a frequent traveler. Finland is beautiful and offers a gentle and friendly welcome. This is a trip with no time to explore and amounts to an overnight stay near Helsinki Airport. The Scandic Helsinki Aviacongress offers a free shuttle from the airport. Every building roundabouts seems modular and straight out of IKEA. (Not a criticism at all) . The hotel and its rooms show off lovely woods and are hyper-functional. It’s a great hotel with fine facilities - pool, sauna and restaurant. Offers an early morning breakfast if you have an early flight. Check-in staff were very welcoming and in typical Scandinavian fashion all was quick and efficient. More than that, it was an excellent price. Compared to city and airport hotels in other parts of Europe, the Scandic was a steal. My thanks to everyone on the staff who made this stay perfect.

Loved everything about my stay at Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna! The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Helsinki with easy access to shops, restaurants, and transport. The decor is fantastic, you feel you've stepped back in time whilst remaining modern clean and of quality. The room was large and comfortable - my son loved the Murphy bed. Breakfast was wonderful - a truly huge selection available with a fabulous view over the city. We had to leave early on check out but the breakfast was running from 0630 which meant we didn't miss out on our last morning. The location is brilliant, a short walk from everything we wanted to see in Helsinki although the tram system is easy to navigate and just outside the front door. Best hotel experience ever. I had never visited a Radisson Blu before, but had stayed in similarly priced hotels, but this one was really great. Firstly, the staff was super welcoming and friendly. They asked smart questions and even offered free baggage storage for our final day after checking out, which saved us a lot of hassle. There was water and candy available in the lobby and the atmosphere was all around really nice. The hotel itself looked clean and quite upscale inside. The room was we expected - a nice bed, some room to store our things. You could make tea, coffee and cocoa (nice touch!) in the room. The air conditioning was superb - it was barely noticeable (no wind) even though it was 30 degrees outside. The breakfast was wonderful - lots of well thought out options, fresh juices and personal omelettes to top it off. Everything was just a bit better than we expected. The location is great for discovering central Helsinki. It is a 40 minute walk from the ferry, but close to the shopping centre district. The street is a quiter one. There are lots of different places to eat in the area and some grocery stores as well. Our favourite local attraction was the Arkade bar just around the corner - a place for gaming, board games and hanging out for like 5-10 euros depending on activity. All in all a great experience and well worth it even considering the mid-table price.

It was so relaxed and quiet, a really stress free hotel. Breakfast was great, and we were able to leave our bags easily and even use the sauna and shower in the afternoon before we flew out. We also loved the drinks and snacks they left out for everyone and the comfortable quiet lounge room reception. Staff Katarina, Kim and Theo were very helpful. Very chilled and comfortable. We would choose to stay here again

The breakfast is really exceptional.....such a wide variety of food, beautifully presented and all so fresh. The staff are all extremely helpful and pleasant. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are well equipped. The location is ideal. It is in a very quiet area but only a short walk to the centre.

The reception was welcoming, receptionists were kind, polite and helpful. The first class breakfast, fresh smoothie, Greek yoghurt, pastries… most importantly the staff in the kitchen area are excellent, particularly, when my son threw tantrum, two young people, (real lady and gentleman) escorted , accompanied him in a quiet area while couldn’t get security staff, they made paper boat, giving him sweets when was calm down. That was the second time we stayed in Hilton Kalastajatorppa. Located in a peaceful and quiet residential area but not very far from the city centre, this hotel provide a relaxing retreat away from the hustle of the city centre. We booked water front suite on the top floor that has a wonderful vista and a fire place to enjoy the evening. Private sauna and a swimming pool were both amazing and relaxing prior to the evening dinner provided at the hotel’s restaurant “ Meritorppa”.Food and drinks complimented our evening to be an unforgettable event. Breakfast is served in a well managed area by friendly, attentive and responsive staff. Hot dishes and egg-based dishes were also provided and served beside other items; sausages, oats, potato rosti, fruits, cold meat cuts, cheese slices, desserts, yoghourt etc. We wish to thank the management and the staff for their kind and friendly hospitality for making our stay as a wonderful event. Taking in considerations the quality/price of the accommodations, we thought this hotel is much attractive than other hotels in the city. We recommend this hotel as a best place to stay in Helsinki.

Stayed at the Hilton Helsinki Kalastajatorppa in the summer and had a great experience (after walking past on a previous trip in winter). The views of the lake are absolutely amazing – peaceful and beautiful, especially in the early morning or at sunset. The rooms are lovely, clean, and comfortable, making it easy to relax. The hotel has a swimming pool and direct access to the lakeside, which is perfect for a peaceful walk or even a dip if you’re feeling brave. The restaurant is excellent – the food is delicious and well-prepared. It is on the expensive side, but worth it for a special treat. The staff were incredibly welcoming and quick to help with anything we needed. Overall, a great stay with a perfect mix of comfort, good service, and beautiful surroundings. Would return.

This was without doubt the best experience of any Hilton branded hotel. The staff were all wonderful, polite, friendly and super efficient from the Meritorppa restaurant staff, the breakfast staff and the front desk staff. All 10/10. The Oceana breakfast area was large enough with ample choice for even the fussiest of guest. Similarly in the restaurant where another fantastic experience was enjoyed. Complimentary appetiser and complimentary drink was offered which was another good bonus. The room itself was a complimentary upgrade to perfection. Ample power points and USB sockets and great views around the sea and immediately area along with a very comfortable bed. The hotel is situated in two main buildings one housing most rooms, the Meritorrppa restaurant, sauna and pool. Opposite this is the building housing other rooms, the well equipped gym, Oceana breakfast area, Vista bar and lounge, and reception along with an area to make snack purchases. On this occasion the sauna and pool were not visited but on another visit they’ll definitely be used. Without exception this venue was excellent.

The hotel was perfect! Really enjoyed our stay there! The rooms are clean, big and very quiet. The hotel has a sauna and a swimming pool that were perfect for some relaxing after touring the city. The gym was beyond my expectations, very clean and lots of options. The arrival was late at night and although there is no reception at this time everything run very smoothly. The breakfast has a great variety of options for every palate and the summer terrace is also really nice, with nice music to enjoy a glass of beer or something to eat. Everyone in the hotel is very friendly, especially the receptionist who speaks some Greek, she was a ray of sunshine!

I am staying at Haaga every week, and this is an amazing place for diverse purposes. solo traveler, or group travelers. the hotel has pool, sauna, gym, and plenty of cozy spots and very convenient and relaxing. high quality breakfast, clean rooms and lovely friendly staff, that care a lot about creating comfortable accommodations.

Comfy beds, but we got put to sleep by the quiet snoring from the next room. Pool: We did not know about the pool! Next time, we'll bring our costumes!

The station is located in the Mall of Tripla, which has several supermarkets (K-Supermarket, Lidl, Prisma) if you need any supermarket supplies. A perfect, practical, place to stay if passing through Helsinki for a night or two, especially if you'll be hungry in the mornings.

This is my second stay at Radisson Blu Espoo. The reception staff was very warm and welcoming. The bedroom was average size, with windows that could be opened slightly, and the room had A/C. The bathroom doesn't have a bath, but it has a sizeable shower, which is perfect, and I prefer showers to baths. The room has a large TV, desk, and enough electric sockets. Naturally, the room has a hotel safe. The bed is comfortable but soft. A nice feature is a desk-style light that you can swing to the luggage area of the room to illuminate that area and then swing back to bed. Breakfast is continental style with Finnish flare. There is a selection of hot items (mini sausages, bacon, scrambled egg, and beans, to mention a few) Special mention given to the female receptionist, who welcomed me to hotel (unfortunately did not note name) who was friendly, professional and welcoming.

This is a great hotel, looking at a beautiful bay and conveniently located close to the Aalto University and a few metro stops away from Helsinki centre. My room was spacious and clean. Breakfast is delicious and with so many options to meet everybody's taste and dietary requirements. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and very thoughtful. I really appreciated that they prepared for me a breakfast box on my last morning. I had a early flight and I had to checkout before breakfast was served. I didn't expect them to make it up with the box :-)

The staff were knowledgeable, polite and friendly, and the hotel was modern, comfortable and visually appealing. However, the most standout feature was the food. The staff of Ranta's Bistro were amazing! Great service, and amazing food, both for breakfast and dinner. The vegan menu was especially delicious. I can't recommend them highly enough, and I hope this feedback reaches them.

Parking was plentiful and the hotel was really pet friendly! A goody bag for each of my two dogs on arrival was such a thoughtful gesture. The location was amazing, just a short walk away from the train station. The Tallink ferry station is a short tram ride away, and the tram ride is steps away from the front door. They offer happy hour deals daily. The room was spacious and very modern. Lots of natural light coming in and very quiet. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice and big. The room had a kettle and coffee/tea. The hotel breakfast had a big selection including eggs, sausages, bacon, vegetables, fruits and some sweet treats. All in all, a great hotel and would highly recommend!

This hotel is located in the central area of Helsinki and has a great atmosphere and funky rooms. Greeted up arrival and check-in was completed promptly whilst still being informative about the hotel facilities and breakfast times. The room is well designed and has a very nice bathroom. Complimentary slippers provided and other facilities in room included hairdryer, umbrella for use while a guest at the hotel, steamer for clothes. Plenty of different lighting and power points in the room for charging. Bathroom had good quality towels and body wash, shampoo and conditioner. A large TV on the wall and open hanging space for clothes. The room had individual room control for climate control. The room was exceptionally quiet due to the carpets in the outside hallway and a separate enclosed area servicing my room and the a room next door l, before entering the door to the individual room. The breakfast menu has a great selection of food for all tastes as well as gluten free and plenty of seating. An exceptional hotel with all staff very accommodating. I was only staying for one night and therefore did not get to utilise the other facilities that included a table tennis table and separate bar area. I did get to visit “the nest” a chill out area just outside the breakfast room. Still and sparkling water was available from this area with a view from some seats out to the street. Would certainly recommend this hotel god anyone visiting Helsinki

The hotel was conveniently located for both the main station and the waterfront. It is right in the centre with restaurants, bars and shops close by. The room was a decent size, bed very comfy and the shower was the best we’ve experienced in our travels this holiday - that’s eight rooms we’ve stayed in. Lovely toiletries. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The bar was great, food tasty and there were activities and games in reception. I liked the fact that the hairdryer was not ‘plumbed in’ and did not require a button to be pressed down continuously while using it, which is a pet hate. I liked the little extras like the umbrella in the room, along with the electric steamer - great for getting creases out of travel weary clothes - and the slippers. No kettle in the room, but the bar will oblige with hot water if you want to make a hot drink. All in all, a terrific stay. You won’t be disappointed.

What a view, we had a seaside room which I would highly recommend. Hotel is big and has fantastic nostalgic vibes, it is very quiet and a perfect place to recover. Breakfast is amazing and so tasty with regional, fresh products (the dark bread was a dream). It's quite a distance to Helsinki City and next bus station (and supermarket) is a 15 minutes walk. There is a shuttle bus to the metro in front of the Hotel but it only runs hourly and during the week. There is a ramp and a ladder to go for a comfortable swim in the lake. We really appreciated the privacy and solitude, enough space for everybody and no cues at breakfast.

Very nice place by the sea in forest, but still in Helsinki. Near to Vuosaari cargo and car ferry terminal (Eckero line). Good restaurant, both dinner and breakfast were tasty and rich. Beautiful beach. Free parking (after registration in reception). Nice view from our room. Comfortable double bed. Large hotel facilities, incl. gym, children playgrounds, sauna e.t.c.

A great hotel close to the beach and woodland walks. The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, and delicious! An hourly bus to Vuossori metro station makes moving around extremely easy.

Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a peaceful vacation.

Perfect location for a company gathering with beautiful nature and relaxing atmosphere. Hotel services for not only to seminar needs but also to participants are top notch. Seminar equipment are very good quality and easy to use. Preparing and planning the event with hotel was extremely easy and all needs were covered. The staff on-site during the event were helpful and handled effortlessly and professionally all ad-hoc needs. Food during coffee breaks, dinner, lunch, and breakfast were delicious.

The staff were so pleasant and helpful. It was a slow time so able to chat. The location of the hotel is convenient to the airport as well as nuuksio national park. The area of the hotel, and views are beautiful. The hotel is exceptional in the amount of amenities available-sauna, pool, gym, dining room for breakfast and dinner. The dinner was very impressive and had wonderful vegan options. I felt compelled to personally compliment the chef.

Although it doesn't show from the outside, Korpilampi is a treasure. Rooms are spacious and clean. Great view of nature. Comfortable beds. The staff is very friendly and professional. The restaurant very good. Limited menu of quality food for reasonable prices. Great chef obviously. The gym might be a bit older but you certainly can do a fine workout. The spa area is great. With a dip in the cold lake after the hot sauna. I travel 4 and 5 star hotels for businessl all the time. And I always look forward to spend the night at Korpilampi with great pleasure

Very cozy hotel in a lovely location! Besides being very close to Serena waterpark, the hotel itself is a perfect vacation destination and has great facilities for active vacation. Children's playground is very nice and clean and the surrounding hiking trails are great! Lake view from the room was stunning. The staff is very friendly!

The hotel is convenient for both the local metro stop and sightseeing buses. There is a large, calm welcoming reception with lounge and bar. Check is is easy. We had a premium room with views over the adjacent lake, city centre and sea. The room was spotless, lovely shower room and comfortable beds. If you are in the Radisson Rewards programme there is a daily wine hour at 6pm. There are 2 dining areas in the lounge bar with an international menu and superb service. The breakfast area can be very lively: there is a side section curtained off which is quieter. There is a large buffet, hot and cold and flasks of coffee are placed on the tables plus there are multiple coffee machines and a selection of teas. I think the quality of the towels could be better but that is my only negative.

Really enjoyed our three night stay here. Well maintained hotel in a convenient central location. As well as being friendly and welcoming, the staff were highly efficient. Minea, Mira and Honey on Front Desk Reception were perfect Radisson ambassadors. The rooms were spacious and well equipped with a comfortable bed. The only thing to improve is the shower screen which was not long or wide enough - too often resulting in a soggy bathroom floor. Breakfast was particularly excellent with a wide range of tasty and filling offerings. The Egg station is especially recommended. The only disappointment was that on our last morning the sausages were of a chorizo type and not as good as the traditional British bangers served on our first two mornings. All in all, decent value at a super hotel that we'll definitely return to when we next revisit friends who live nearby.

The hotel's proximity right next to the Helsingin päärautatieasema Railway Station and in the heart of the city center. This made it incredibly easy and convenient to walk to all the main attractions. Our room was a major highlight: spacious, luxurious, and wonderfully quiet, which guaranteed a restful and comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet was also fantastic, offering a wide and delicious variety of food. The service from the reception staff was outstanding; they were very helpful and provided excellent service. However, there was a significant issue with inconsistent housekeeping, as the room was not cleaned despite the "clean up" sign being displayed, requiring a follow-up call to the front desk. We would highly recommend this hotel for its amazing location, beautiful rooms, and outstanding front desk service. If the consistency of the housekeeping can be addressed, it would easily be a great experience.

Good quality hotel in the city center. Just a few minutes to railway station and restaurants and museums near by. Check in and out is easy. For 40 eur you can have early check in at 12:00. Normally at 15:00. For breakfast is so many options to choose. Omelette by your own wishes was my favorite. I was expecting coffee to the table, but maybe high season you can take from automat or filter coffee from corner. Sauna was nice to try. Maybe more light would be nice. Luggage room is safety and easy to use. 4 lifts and those are quick. Bed was so good for sleep. A/C and minibar ok. Only problem was about shower. It's too small wall and water goes to the floor and no floor wiper available. Staff friendly, especially man on breakfast on welcoming desk.

The hotel has a very good location, next to the main city attractions. You can easily walk around the city and go to the restaurants and bars as well. The rooms are spacious and bed is comfortable. The shower area was a bit challenging as the water was splashing everywhere. Nikita was very kind and friendly upon our checkin and explained the city map, Mirka also helped us in printing a document and assisted us on the bar, Paprika was lovely and Seidi ordered a taxi for the ferry station. Overall the hotel staff were great.

We chose this hotel primarily for its excellent value, especially considering that dinner was included in the rate. The location was another key factor, as all major attractions were within easy walking distance. It’s also conveniently located about a 15-minute walk from the main railway station. The hotel itself is housed in a charming, atmospheric building that adds character to the stay. As for the meals, the breakfast was quite satisfying, offering a variety of options such as scrambled eggs, yogurt, oat porridge, cheese, fresh vegetables, and watermelon and melon. The only coffee available at breakfast was black coffee from a machine, which may be typical in Nordic countries—so don’t expect cappuccino or latte during the morning service. Dinner includes one hot dish along with a salad bar. While the selection is sufficient to leave you feeling full, families traveling with children or teenagers may find the lack of variety a challenge if their preferences are more specific. A lovely touch is the afternoon “fika” served between 15:00 and 17:00, which includes a dessert and coffee or tea. Additionally, each room is equipped with a kettle and a selection of tea and coffee, which we found very convenient.

Absolutely loved this hotel! It’s in a perfect central location, just a short walk to shops, cafés, and a supermarket. We booked a package with breakfast and dinner, and the food was fresh and delicious. Afternoon coffee, tea, and cake were a lovely bonus. Service was outstanding. We arrived late and missed dinner, but the hotel kindly prepared a salad and even upgraded our room to better fit our large luggage. Big thanks to Heidi at reception for her kindness! Would definitely stay here again if I return.

The whole hotel was very clean and quiet, it was only during food times that was saw or heard other guests. The room itself was very modern, clean and quiet, a very relaxing place for a city break. The room had lactose free milk supplied which was much to the delight of my partner, also the hotel had breakfast and dinner provided free of charge, plus free tea and coffee if you signed up for free to their Strawberry membership.

We liked: quirky decor, relaxed ambiance, friendly staff, comfy beds. Breakfast was delicious, loads of veggie and lactose free options (also gluten free) and everything was well labelled. We were there on a weekend so breakfast going on until 12 was lovely, one day we went to löyly and then came back and had breakfast after, which was perfect. Free dinner was a surprise bonus, the food was great, though there was no specific veggie options, though between soup and salad it was ok. Good location, no more than 20mins walk from anywhere we wanted to go.

Beautiful hotel in romantic building felt very cosy and comfortable. Loved the breakfast buffet and the half board dinner. The kitchen did a terrific job of catering for dietary restrictions. Complimentary tea, coffee and cake was a great addition. Staff were warm and friendly.

Breakfast was fantastic with something to please everyone in our family and it was constantly being topped up so no matter what time you had breakfast there was enough food. The rooms were very warm and comfortable and they follow an eco friendly ethos on cleaning so the client requests if and when they need room clean or change of towels etc. which works quiet well. Helsinki is a compact city and this hotel is ideally located to all the main sites. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at the hotel Presidentti for a convention and the staff was absolutely marvelous. Everyone was so nice and took such good care of us. We were a large group with many activities planned. On three of the days we had to leave early than when breakfast started and they graciously opened up the breakfast Buffet and hour earlier and even set up and extra buffet to accommodate us. And the food was wonderful. So many things to chose from. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Helsinki is a model of what cities should be. Spotlessly clean, well organized, fresh air, beautiful buildings, old and new, every type of shopping and dining you can imagine, and friendly helpful people who can and will speak English. It was stress free, at least for this visitor. The airport is a futuristic, traveler-friendly marvel. The dedicated train to the city, for only 4.50€, goes multiple times each hour, is clean uncrowded and has plenty of places provided to conveniently store luggage so you don't have to keep it between your knees, or under your feet or on your lap, inconveniencing everyone. The other public transport (I preferred the tram) is likewise clean, simple and can take you everywhere. There is a stop at the nearest corner to this hotel, although it is a very pleasant walk between the central station and the hotel if you choose. If you are using one if the conveniently located ticket machines, you will find that unlike some other places I have been, these are straight forward, logical and fully explain what you should do for what you want. If you always approach these machines with some anxiety, as I do, in this case you can relax. Take a deep breath, and look again at the instructions again and you will see every question answered in the most simple terms.

Scandic Park Hotel boasts an excellent location, offering convenient access to the city centre either via public transportation or a pleasant 20-minute walk through the park. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous, contributing to a highly positive experience. Dining in the hotel restaurant was enjoyable, and the guest room was both spacious and comfortable. Breakfast featured a broad selection of traditional dishes, and the sauna as well as health club facilities were impressive. Additionally, the availability of complimentary bike hire was a welcome and unexpected benefit.

Good location, 15 minutes form the train station and the city center, near a lovely park. There is a small supermarket at the back and some nice cafe's as well. We had the room facing the back yard, which made it quiet. The rooms are generally older, it was clean and neat, but you could tell it's not a new hotel. The shower drain was a bit clogged the first night but it got fixed the next day. The bathroom had floor heating. Rich breakfast, large breakfast room, so no problem to find a spot.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Super breakfast, big clean room, comfortable mattresses. Sauna & swimming pool were much appreciated. Just opposite the hotel, there is a nice parc, with a small pond with the paths for cyclists & walker & runners, and with really cool playground for children. It is c. 10 minutes walk to main train station (to take the train to / from aiport), and c. 15 - 20 minutes nice and easy walk to the city centre, and c. 15 minutes by taxi to West harbor (in case you want to take a ferry to visit Tallinn).

We just stayed at this hotel for five nights because we attended an event in Helsinki. Scandic Meilahti was an excellent choice and we were very happy with our stay.. The location was excellent. We came with our car and left it at a parking lot of the hotel (22 euros/ night) and used trams to move around. The standard room was basic but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good as well. But the best was the staff. . We want to give special thanks to Robert at the reception, ALWAYS helping everybody with smile. Also a young girl on Wednesday night was very helpful and most of all, friendly. And special thanks for the personal at the breakfast. so smiling and helpful, ALL of them serving us these five days with just a beautiful attitude. Hope to stay there again! (the only negative thing was a conversation between the person at the reception and a client talking negatively of other clients. It was not professional and should not happen. Even if you think that no-one is listening, someone can).

Great hotel in a very safe area of Helsinki. The room is big and the bed is very comfy. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful and the breakfast...well, I travelled a lot and stayed in a lot of hotels, but I can honestly say this was the best breakfast ever. There were so many delicious things to choose from, the pig in me got very disappointed for not being able to eat from all of them.

Breakfast was phenomenal and had lots of vegan options. Staff was incredibly helpful to a tourist from the US. I was on vacation with a family member when they had a medical emergency, so I switched to the Scandic based on its proximity to the hospital — very convenient and easy walk there and back. Rooms were super clean and the temperature was comfortable. Overall a fantastic stay.

Room was very clean, beds were comfortable. It was very quiet during the night time. At first the location seemed poor, but very near the hotel are some good restaurants, market, Nordis and the Stadium. Breakfast was nice too. Easy to get to Linnanmäki or the city centre. All in all, a pleasant surprise. We will come again.

My rooms have always been quiet and comfortable, allowing for a restful night’s sleep. Overall, the rooms are cozy and well-maintained. I highly recommend it for both business and leisure stays.

The front desk and breakfast area staff are excellent. The outstanding buffet breakfast has juices, smoothies, tea, coffee, hot/cold meats, whole/sliced fruit, cereals, breads, cakes... and it is constantly replenished. The location was perfect for us as tourists, and the tram stop right at the front door takes you to the Tallink ferry terminal. Very convenient city hotel in super central location. Got an up-grade to a nice room on the 6th floor. Room was spacious with a nice view over the city. Wooden floor, Nordic ambiance and very comfortable bed. Bathroom and room amenities were also very pleasant. Breakfast was super good with many different options inclusive of lots of healthy items. Loved their home-made Bircher Müsli and the huge bowl of berries. During the summer month you also have a very cool rooftop bar on weekends.

I usually dont write reviews but had to for this one. Had one of the best stays for our finland trip at this gorgeous hotel. Right from the check in, to the friendly staff, we had an amazing staff. The rooms are well maintained, views are very good and the cherry on the top is the amazing breakfast and such a pretty set up. The bar was so cozy and the bartender is so friendly, all the hotel staff are. The location is perfect with everything at a walking distance. My review would not be complete without mentioning the sweetest staff members - Lida and Aino who helped me recover a lost phone in a cab and were so kind to coordinate with me to ship it back to India !

Hotel Haven is a cosy and stylish place to stay. It is set in a beautiful historical building that adds a unique charm to the whole experience. Very nicely decorated, lots of lovely sitting spots in the lobby. It’s in a prime spot by the harbour, and the restaurant overlooks the waterfront and some historical buildings too. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, perfect for unwinding after a day out. The rooms are really spacious and comfy with a nice mix of classic and modern design. One of the highlights is the buffet breakfast served with plenty of options including healthy foods, fresh smoothies, and local pastries.

Very clean and room spacious, only downside was the shower over the bath, not a lover of this and much prefer a walk in shower, be carful when climbing/ stepping out of the bath as very slippy. Breakfast very good and in the original house, staff told us about the history of the house, very interesting. I stayed here for a month and it quickly felt like home. The place has everything you need and the staff are friendly and helpful. Töölö Towers is in a quiet area with great connections and not far from the city center. My room was clean and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen, desk, chair, and TV. The views from both the window and terrace were beautiful. There’s also a sauna and laundry, which were very convenient. Overall, it’s great value for money. You’re close to parks, coffee shops, supermarkets, and many of the main sights in Helsinki.

I enjoyed my stay at Toolo Towers. It's not far from the city centre and at the same time is located in a quiet area. My room was very clean and comfortable, there was a well equipped kitchen, a desk, two chairs and a TV. The views from the window and from the terrace are wonderful. There is also a sauna and breakfast was quite good. Staff was nice, helpful and polite. Perhaps the pillows could be more comfortable and at breakfast the queue at the kitchen area could be avoided at times with a bit more space. I would say that it's good value for money since it's quite close to the places to visit in Helsinki and I believe it offers the "Finnish style". I recommend it

The front desk staff were amazing - helpful with early check-in, storing luggage the day we left, and shared useful and friendly advice. They were the friendliest people in our entire journey! The apartment was bright, clean and the kitchen was easy to use. The beds were comfortable. The location was excellent- close to parks, grocery stores, restaurants and public transportation. Breakfast (which was included!) was a full buffet ot hot and cold foods and drinks. It can be crowded, but it was worth attending. The laundry facilities were a life-saver with washers and dryers ar no cost. You just need to sign up.

I liked everything about my stay. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, and the breakfast was varied and delicious (however, the buffet is served in a bit of a cramped place). I also enjoyed a session in the small sauna room, located on one of the upper floors. There is an adjacent terrace room with a beautiful view. The hotel is a 15-minute walk away from where the city center begins. There is a tramway station (Apollokatu/Apollogatan) next to the hotel if you prefer public transport. It was easy to buy a ticket with Helsinki's public transport "HSL app".

The location was close to the city centre, very clean and quiet, and offered a beautiful view from the windows and terrace. The breakfast options were great and I appreciated being able to use the shared kitchen space on my room floor for my other meals. The staff was friendly and helpful too. I would definitely stay here again if I were to travel to Helsinki in the future!

I had a great stay at Hotel Finn – it’s a clean, secure, and reasonably priced option right in the heart of Helsinki. The room was well-heated, which was much appreciated during the very cold weather. It’s also within walking distance of the railway station, with convenient connections to the airport every 30 minutes. The room itself was tidy and functional, with good Wi-Fi and a small desk for writing. However, the chair wasn’t particularly comfortable for longer use. The bathroom was compact and designed like a wet room. I also would’ve liked more room to place toiletries. I had booked a double bed but was given two single duvets, which slightly defeated the purpose of a double. That said, the overall experience was very positive. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and free tea and coffee were available while reception was open. Given the price and location, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others visiting Helsinki.

Room (superior queen) was welcoming and clean, with enough room to comfortably open our large suitcases. Noise from highway was noticeable, but did not disturb my sleep. Breakfast was unusual in that you could choose 07.30, 08.00 or 08.45, but this wasn’t policed and we soon learned that at 08.00 the buffet was crowded, but 08.20 was very comfortable. Tables could be found at all times, though, and the food selection was excellent. Staff at reception were pleasant. Hotel adjoins the shopping mall, which also has a good selection of restaurants. Decor is predominantly grey, with splashes of orange. Nice I thought. If you want a taxi you either order from the hotel and wait in the foyer, or you can go outside, down a flight of stairs (no lift) and wait at a taxi rank. No fun if you have heavy cases and/or mobility issues

Although it is some distance from the city, the location of the hotel to the close proximity of mall and cinema made it convenient to shop up till closing and watch a late night movie. The room in the new wing was fresh and comfortable. Enjoyed the large window with a view of the forest and the modern smart TV. Breakfast gets crowded quickly. The options look alot but food is basic and taste average.

That was our second time staying in this hotel with children. The check in was smooth and quick. I was given the option to choose the floor, and I asked for the highest floor possible. I was given a room on the 10th floor. The room has a huge window with the view to the adjoining shopping centre and surrounding area up to 10-15 km. One can just sit and observe airplanes arriving and departing - airport is about 5 km away. Beds were comfortable, even the extra bed that's situated on the wall that you pull open (resembles the beds in the ferry cabins). Higher floors have only showers in the rooms (if you're willing to swap a bath tub for nice views). Only downside is that you have to choose your breakfast slot when checking in - I like to be spontaneous when on a holiday. However, it's not that big of a deal, I just chose to latest slot. Breakfast itself was plentiful. If you like exercise like me, it's worth trying out taking stairs instead of lift. Each step is numbered, and inspirational writings on each floor will push you keep on going (although they were written in Finnish only)! There's lots to do with kids as in the same building there is a waterpark with spa, cinema, playing place for kids, and shopping amongst others. I would definitely visit this hotel again when in the area.

My go to hotel when i travel to Helsinki for my business trips, rooms are spacious and comfortable, hotel staff are very helpful and friendly, and all the facilities, mall and restaurants attached to the hotel make this place stands out.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is very close to the airport and very conveniently located in the same site as a large shopping centre that has restaurants and super markets. The reception team were lovely, the rooms clean and the breakfast was tasty. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was very good and more than enough to get you going for the day. I used the Sauna and that was very good as well. The location is very convenient for the Viking line terminal which I used for a ferry to Tallin. There is not much in the area in terms of Restaurants and things to do but you can walk down to the city centre in 15 minutes, with the market on the way. On my way back from Tallin, I spent one more night at this hotel and I was given a better room with tea and coffee and a better bathroom. Orna at the front desk was lovely, helpful and also professional.

Our first visit to Helsinki. Arrived by ferry from Stockholm and a very short walk to the hotel, which we could see from the ship. Very comfortable hotel, such pleasant and helpful staff, and the breakfast buffet was amazing! Lots of options including healthy ones and very delicious. Straightforward hotel. Very clean, decently sized rooms, very friendly staff and a nice downstairs bar for relaxing. Small but very well-served gym. Location is nice, close to the landing docks of cruises in Helsinki, walking distance from the central market, from the Orthodox Cathedral, from departure point for short trips to neighboring islands, and also close by the tram leading to central Helsinki.

The bed was very comfy and clean. AC was working perfectly. Wi-fi was strong but had some disconnections in my room. Breakfast was excellent with lots of selections and it was tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check in is at 4 pm, I never experienced in any hotel, it’s too late and if you arrive earlier hotel charges you 20 euro. It was also good to have kettle in room or at least hot water be available free of charge. Snacks, tee and drinks are available to buy at reception.

The location is fantastic, it took, like, 20 minutes or something to walk from the Central Train Station, and the metro/tram/bus stops are literally in front of the hotel, so you'd have no logistics problems whatsoever. It's an easy and nice walk to the city center, and a few delicious restaurants are in the neighbourhood, so again, the location is just great. And they have saunas in the hotel! The room was very comfy and clean. And even though the windows faced the street, there was very little street noise which is a huge boon to me--I didn't even use my earplugs at all. The breakfast was fantastic; so unbelievably good and delicious, and the cinnamon rolls were the best-best-best ever! The stuff was helpful and friendly--many thanks to the lovely ladies at the reception! You rock! P.S. If you stay for a few days in the city and would like to use public transport, definitely get a Helsinki City Card, it'll save you a lot of headache (you can purchase it at the reception).

The location was very good, very central and easy to go everywhere in Helsinki, next to metro stop and with many buses stopping outside the hotel. As Helsinki is a fairly small city, we could also go walking to many places of interest. The personnel were very nice and friendly, they helped a lot with our questions and requests. The breakfast buffet was very satisfying offering a big variety. We also used the sauna room(small but nice). No noise, even though we were in a central location, it felt a very quiet and safe area.

Clean, spacious room with comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good with a lot of options, even vegan and staff was very helpful and friendly. There is a metro, tram and bus stop right outside of the hotel. Airport bus Nr. 600 also stops on this stop and central railway station is about 15 min walk from the hotel. Supermarket is next door as are some caffes and bakeries.

Hotel has a very good place, near metro station, the room was comfy and clean. Bed had a very good mattress. The Bathroom had all amenities towels and everything you need, even a small hand held shower near toilet that was new for us. The room had central AC but I think it wasn't doing nothing we raised the temperature but there was constant 20 degrees Celsius which was ok. The hotel had decent selection of breakfast food, but the space to sit was always full, they have very limited space in the breakfast. The hotel over all was great and we would come back again when we will visit Helsinki.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Original Sokos Hotel Albert! It has a unique, home-like atmosphere with a large sitting room and bar by the reception desk. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and we appreciated the hotel's focus on being eco-friendly. The breakfast included a wide range of options, including a delicious Finnish porridge. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of parks, restaurants, grocery stories, public transport, and Market Square. The hotel also has a sauna available downstairs for customers to use. All of these things made the Original Sokos Hotel Albert a great place to stay, but our visit was made especially memorable by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. In particular, Sonja provided information on activities we might enjoy, nearby restaurants, special Finnish treats, and other fascinating aspects of life in Helsinki. Sonja really enhanced our short stay in Finland, and we truly appreciated her attentive and professional service.

A very good mid level hotel in the center of the city. It’s a bit of a walk into the main shopping area but there is plenty of restaurants close by. There is a bar and a nice sitting area. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is well appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable but the pillows weren’t great. Unfortunately the curtains didn’t cover the windows very well so there is light spill into the room from the street lights. The staff, in particular Marianna, were brilliant. Friendly, helpful and accommodating. Marianna was able to suggest and book restaurants for us. The breakfast is great with a good variety of fruit, cereals, pastries and hot food. Coffee not so good unfortunately.

It had a great variety of food for every taste with some local delicacies. The rooms were comfortable and very clean with everything necessary inside. The personnel was always polite and helpful. The hotel was very close to the city centre. I really enjoyed my stay there. I will prefer again this hotel in case I visit again the beautiful Helsinki.

The staff is very friendly and the location is very good. You can reach all attractions in a short time. The breakfast is phenomenal and the staff there are incredibly professional too. I was surprised at how great the breakfast is. There was even gluten-free and regular korvapuusti and karjalanpiirakkaa and many, many other Finnish specialties. Also many types of eggs, quark, vegetables, fruit... Very, very great. If you want to have a Finnish breakfast, book this hotel. There was even an extra section with gluten-free products. My room was very quiet and clean. The facilities were better than in the photos. I felt very comfortable here and would recommend Hotel Albert.

The hotel was a great value. The beds were very comfortable, everything was clean, there was ample space to put our stuff. There was no AC in out rooms, but the windows opened and kept the temperature pleasant-to-cool. The frint desk staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was wonderful with so many choices.

I stayed at Hotel Anna in Helsinki for 6 nights and had a great experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the location was very convenient for exploring the city. The highlight was definitely the staff — always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with anything. Their support made my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Our flight arrived in an early morning, and check-in time was 3pm. “By observation us”, the receptionist and her manager provided us a temporary room for few hours without charges, then later informed us for early check in to our suite. We were really appreciated their service. And we decided to stay one more night to support their business. All staffs (Finns and foreigners) were professional, friendly (smile to us). The breakfast was typical Finnish style (fresh, healthy, and organic). The beds were perfect to lay down, we had very good sleep. Many cacao drinks and honey were in the fridge. The sauna was big, comfortable. There is also a play room for kids in the restaurant. There is a microwave (warm up your own food) next to the receptionist area. Overall, it is a convenient, friendly, ethical, and good budget hotel to stay.

This hotel has a great location at right next to Tikkurila railway station where you can catch a local train to Helsinki airport (about 10 mins journey) and to central Helsinki (about 15 - 20 mins journey). I had an extremely spacious room even though I had a booked a 'basic' single occupancy. My room was super clean and had all amenities you could wish for; a kettle for coffee / tea, a free bottle of wine, a minibar (charged), bathrobe and slippers and plenty of goodies in a bathroom. There is a restaurant as well as a pub right off the main reception and also a night club with live music played on Saturday evenings. It's live music and can be heard in bedrooms. Service at the front reception as well as restaurants were friendly as efficient (as you would expect in Finland). I would warmly recommend Sokos Hotel Vantaa for a short stay in Helsinki area.

Comfortable stay, very close to the train station, only a short train ride away from Vantaa airport. Quiet and spacious room, friendly staff and good breakfast. We had an early flight, so we were happy for the option of an early breakfast. We were especially surprised about how pet friendly the hotel is, our dog even got his own blanket, food bowl and a bag of treats!

I spent a weekend at Sokos Hotel Vantaa with an old friend, we were celebrating our birthdays and also attended Tikkurila Festivaali parties. We had an amazing time and everything went super smoothly. We got our early check-in as well as a late check-out. The hotel provided us with a small surprise as well due to our celebrations. We booked a standard room and I was pleasantly surprised as it was nice, cool, comfortable and had all the amenities necessary, such as lotions, iron, minibar, hair dryer etc. Also, I particularly enjoyed the fact that they booked an actual breakfast time for each hotel guest, this way any rush hours were avoided and there were only maybe ten people having breakfast at the same time with us so the social distancing was super easy. Breakfast was good and special thanks to the fact that also gluten-free options were available. We were very pleased and would happily return to stay at the hotel, the best part was certainly the great service they provided with us. Thanks again!

We enjoyed the Amarillo restaurant and the Karaoke bar and your breakfast restaurant, all were great! I would have loved to experience the Tuesday dance evening or the weekend bands, we will have to return to see them another time. The closeness to Tikkurila train station is fantastic. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom nice and spacious. The TV was very big and good choice of programs.
