The flat was located about 10' away walking distance from the downtown, in a safe and quiet area. We had also a parking spot close to the flat, so everything went well. We stayed one night, being in transit, so for us was a perfect stay here in Varaždin.

We were absolutely delighted with our stay! Check-in went smoothly, and the lady at the reception was simply amazing — friendly, professional, and super helpful! The only small downside was that, due to a 35-year school reunion celebration (which we were informed about during check-in), we couldn’t use the bar or the restaurant in the evening. Apart from that, everything was perfect — the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room itself was clean, cozy, and well-designed. And the breakfast… oh my gosh! That was hands down the best hotel breakfast we’ve had in a long time. We were genuinely surprised to see red and black caviar on the buffet — such a nice touch! ☕️ And the coffee — wow. I don’t know what beans they use, but the cappuccino from the machine was honestly as good as in a professional café. Highly recommend this hotel — we’ll definitely be back!

The hotel looked modern and elegant, I hear that they renovated it a few years ago and they really did a good job. The room itself was clean, with a big and comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and a coffee maker which is always a plus. The staff was also kind anough to provide us with a cot, which was cute and had really pretty sheets. The breakfast was very good, in a nice restaurant. It could use a bit of variety, but everaything was delicious. The parking was free and there was enough space. The hotel is a walking distance from the city centre and it's right in front of playground, which is convenient if you have kids. The staff was kind and helpful.

Excellent location, just a block away from the historic center, very quiet, modern, newly renovated rooms, comfortable beds, welcoming, friendly staff, parking right in front of hotel, nice restaurant on premises serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Perfect location to experience Varazdin's historic old town.

Very friendly staff, comfortable beds, amazing view from the windows. Windows opened wide which is very important for us. Very nice breakfast and the hotel is located in a good area. Highly recommend to anyone. Hotel was also extremely clean and stylish. Local shop right next to the hotel and a short walk to the city center.

Tastefully renovated hotel, friendly staff, spacious and cosy rooms, walking distance to the city center, abundant and variated breakfast. The welness offer looked amazing as well, unfortunately we did not have enough time to try it out, but will definitely come back.

Very friendly staff, welcome glass of fruit juice, quaint and cosy, comfortable bed, quiet for a peaceful night's sleep, great breakfast, central location - all the ingredients for great accommodation for a wonderful weekend getaway!

I really liked the staff - the lady at the reception was so friendly and helpful. The room was huge and quiet and comfortable. And I was truly impressed by the breakfast - it included a lot of items and was very tasty. The parking area behind the hotel is vast and very convenient. The old part of the town is within a short walking distance from the hotel.

Convenient location, near the bus and train stations. Friendly and helpful staff: I booked a few hours before arrival, the owner organised self check-in on Easter evening. There is a possibility of early breakfast, the breakfast is good: omelette, vegetables, cheese, meat, fruits, instant coffee (I still prefer ground coffee).

Perfect location within a walking distance of about 10 minutes to the city center of Varazdin. The staff is extraordinary friendly. We got a free and fresh orange juice to be served during check-in. The car park is just in front of the hotel. Breakfast was typical croatian style with tasty sunny-side up eggs and ham. The beds were very comfortable.

It’s a perfect stop-over on one’s way to the Croatian coast and the town is pretty, with cobbled streets and lovely architecture, picture perfect. We were here in October so many restaurants closed - so we ate at the hotel. The staff are mainly attentive and helpful. Simple check in/out. Easy free- parking. Very comfortable.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful; even when our GPS took us to the wrong location, she guided us patiently and made sure we arrived without trouble. Our stay at Hotel Trakošćan was an absolute pleasure! Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and the peaceful, beautiful surroundings truly impressed us. The hotel itself seems to have been recently (in 2022 or 2023?) built, so some of the things being so good are expected in comparison with older hotels. Also, it's right at the foot of the hill that's the "city centre", it's easy to get to and away from by car. All-around perfect, and just about what makes someone feel right price-for-money. And they have a bar and a restaurant open just across the street throughout the day, including on Sundays, serving tasty food and drinks for a perfect price. I wish more hotels around the world were like this! And that they never change for the worse, ever, and keep up this grade of service. Once the thermal baths in the city open, I'm sure to visit again!

Hotel is a great surprise in sea of endles same design hotels. Warm design, elegant, simple and artistic at the same time. Room is spatious, bed is on the softer side but realy comfortable. It is indeed soundprof, Bathroom and shower hudge... Minibar in room they offer a key right on arrival... Some people were writing about it. No tea and coffie, but stil realy nice bar downstears.. What realy was the reason of our stop here for one night is spa, and I must say as person that trawell a lot that this is one of nicest spa we have been. Yes it cost extra but pay it... If it is for free everybody will bee inside and it will lose it charm. The masage chair is outoftheworld!!! So wort extra money for it glad we deside to take it. We booked with dinner and that was the top of the day. We did not expect much of it as usualy dinners that are prepayed are eatable and nothing more, rhis was not buffe diner but gourme one. Do not know what we like more dinner or deserts... Ambient, staff... Everything on top level. An so many small things I forgot to mention...

Large shower, clean, lot’s of spa options, owned restaurant nearby. Peaceful because of remote location. It was perfect for us because we came from the Ozora festival and mostly needed some deep cleaning and rest 😉.

Large apartment with a full size kitchen and two bathrooms. A TV in each bedroom and one in the livingroom along with comfy beds and an amazing shower (I want this one in my house!). Easy walking distance to Old Town, big grocery store, and restaurants. Host was super friendly and we loved everything about this place.

This apartment was superb! We were met on arrival and shown the door entry codes, the facilities and were left to it. Our host was upstairs should we have had any problems and she gave us her phone number! The kitchen was spotless with everything we needed, although we only ate breakfast in the apartment. There was a dishwasher, oven, microwave - almost as good as at home - even a kettle (although it was very noisy)! Two bedrooms with really comfy large beds, a TV , sitting room and bathroom. There was also a small bathroom in the apartment lobby. Decor was fresh and had obviously been done recently. We also had use of the small garden with our hosts. It was in an area of Varazdin that we know well, so it was very convenient for us, out of the center, but not too far out. Convenience stores nearby too. I would go back again without hesitation.

Best place ever! Clean, quite, with a nice garden and in walking distance to the old town + a Konzum nearby. We've been asked if we wanted separated beds or double beds - so perfect for people who don't want to sleep in the same bed. One of the bedrooms is connected to the main room (living room + kitchen) but can be separated via a sliding door (you don't see that on the photos) - so also this room is very quiet.

The location of the apartment was great, close to the city centre but in a quiet area. Very spacious apartment, it has everything you need for your stay. Big comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, two big bathrooms, even bathrobes and slippers provided!

Self check in is really convenient, if you're running late you will be able to get into the apartment by yourself. The house is located in a small town which seems to be really nice and quiet. There is a place to park a car just outside the fence of the property and you can see it from the window. The house is really cosy, it has ac, a bathroom and a separate toilet. There are drinks and beverages available in the fridge (minibar), which was a nice surprise, when you arrive late and the shops are closed. We stayed there only for one night but we would have stayed longer if we had more time.

Beautiful apartment, everything what you need, garden around was big amazing suprise... Situated in perfect place in the middle of the center, close to swimming pool, Landlord was very nice and helpful.. Definitelly recommend to everyone!

Overall a very pleasant experience, will be coming back.

The location was very easy to find, there are signs on the road leading to the location. The breakfast was delicious and the host and hostess were very friendly and helpful. My recommendation is to pay a bit extra and use the private sauna.

A great quiet locations surrounded by nature with beautifully decorated and clean rooms. This was a perfect starting point for exploring the surrounding areas including Trakoscan castle and the park trails.

This was my second time in Grebengradska Medna Hiža, and the experience was amazing! The host is a true professional that prepared everything for our arrival; the accommodation was perfect for any cabin lower. We also had a truly amazing experience when we went to sleep on a normal day and woke up to a winter wonderland (be sure to check the pictures). If you're planning a trip, be sure that Grebengradska Medna Hiža is your next destination!

A wonderfully cosy place, tucked in the very heart of Varaždin, so close to everything in town that it makes the whole Varaždin feel like your extended living room. The rooms are significantly more spacious than expected, the little minibar fridge fully functional to receive the fresh fruit from the nearby farmers market (the "plac") and the staff smiling and ready to help at every turn. The oriel corner window ("erker") in the hotel cafe on the first floor overlooking an intersection of busy pedestrian streets is surely the best place in town to have breakfast, or a nightcap. And one more thing: although the temperature outside went up to 35C, the room was never too hot - and we never switched on the (otherwise fully functioning) airco.

- Istra Hotel is located right in the centre of Varazdin, so it's very close to everything. The staff was friendly. - The bed was comfortable. There was also a fridge and kettle with some tea and coffee. - Wi-fi was free with no need for password across the hotel. - Breakfast was very simple: coffee, tea, juice, water, yogurt, fruit, butter, cheese, ham, bread, and some type of pastry. Despite the lack of great variety, it was good in general.

It’s a very well equipped and comfortable apartment. We arrived quite tired after bike touring and wild camping, and had a very good rest here. We could store our bikes in the basement. The kitchen’s amenities are especially superb (I loved that I found make Turkish coffee), but we liked the comfy bed and bathroom too. The city center is about 1 km away, and the area is very nice and quiet.

Everything was great from check-in to check-out. The room was very clean and comfortable, and having the option to make coffee and oatmeal in the morning was ideal. The staff were friendly, and the overall atmosphere made for a pleasant stay.

Comfortable and beautifully furnished apartment with a balcony in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to the castle and the center, convenient parking. We were satisfied and would love to come again sometime.

It was a nice modern studio, relatively close to the center of the town. We had all the toiletries provided, and even some complementary coffee and oat meal for breakfast. The host was very nice.

The apartment is beautiful and well equipped. The location action is wonderful, a 5 minute walk to the old town, coffee and restaurants. The owner Ivana and manager were available for any help we needed. Would highly recommend this place.

We stayed one night only but would have loved to spend some more time there. The food at the pizzeria is delicious. We had lasagna, pizza, burger, warm chicken salad, garlic cheese bread - all was exquisite and delicious.

Staying at the Pansion Bernarda Nova in Varaždinske Toplice was outstanding. The accommodation was top-notch, very clean, and comfortable. The guest house's location allowed easy access to all the main attractions and amenities, which was very convenient. I would particularly highlight the breakfast, which was exceptionally delicious and diverse. The price-quality ratio was impeccable; we got much more than we expected for the paid price. The staff was very kind and helpful, making our stay more enjoyable. If we revisit Varaždinske Toplice, we will choose Pansion Bernarda Nova again. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality accommodation in this beautiful destination.

This property and the hosts were one of the best on my long trip in Croatia. The property itself is so beautifully designed and maintained with small detailing across different rooms - bedroom, bathroom, drawing room and the special rooms at the basement (kitchen/bar and a small lounge). It's too good. And the hosts were kind enough to provide me with dinner as the nearby restaurant had shut by the time I had reached. They also provide adequate supplies of coffee, soup etc. and to top it all there were a lot of chocolates kept for the guest. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Varazdin, or I'd say visit Varazdin just for this property.

We were staying overnight, but next time I wish we would stay longer. The apartment is situated in a quiet surroundings with its own winery and a beautiful view. The owner is so hospitable, we have been greeted with a bottle of house wine and there were more bottles and complimentary snacks waiting for us!!:) The apartment is spotless clean and comfortable. We have enjoyed our stay and would recommend for everyone!

Irina was super nice and helpful host. We got a bottle of her wine as a welcome gift and in the morning the fresh bread was prepared for us for free. The apartment is located in very peaceful countryside and the view to the wine yard is super calming. Perfect place for relax!

We had a wonderful stay at a beautiful apartment in Varaždin. It was extremely clean and well-organized, providing everything we needed for our entire stay, including towels, bathrobes, shower gel, soap, cotton pads, a comb, and even a toothbrush. The kitchen was fully equipped with all necessary utensils. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The historical city centre is only on 15minutes wallk. There is big supermarket near the apartment, frut and vegetable shop also. Our host, Ivana, was exceptionally kind and friendly, always responding quickly to our questions. The apartment features a coded door, so there’s no need to carry keys around. During our seven-day stay, the apartment was cleaned, and sheets and towels were changed on the fourth day, which we greatly appreciated. This is the best place to stay in Varaždin. We were extremely satisfied and would gladly return. We also recommend this apartment to all our friends and family!

The apartment was very clean, comfortable, equipped with everything a person might need while traveling. We were only there for one night, but I can imagine a longer stay. Walking distance to the center was about 30 minutes. Handing over the keys was according to the instructions in the message, we were able to accommodate according to our needs. It was very nice of the owners to leave us fruit and a snack.

Absolutely the most perfect accommodation ever. The apartman is SUPER CLEAN, smell sweet and very modern. Bed is very comfort (yes, that was paradise), bathroom is beautifull. All stuff is new, clean and in super condition. You find here coffe, tea or shampoo, also fresh cold water in fridge. Parking is in front of apartment. Hosts are very polite, Kruno speaks english and german. Hosts are very focused on detais, they have all in perfect. Thank you. For us it was only one night during our way from holidays in Peješac, but we are planing book there two nights next year and enyoj this lovely apartment and visit Varadžín city.

We liked totally everything! Maggie is the nicest and kindest hostess we have ever met :) She speaks perfect English with an American accent , which we loved ! She offered us a lift to the town centre, explained everything in detail what to see in her beautiful town. The apartment itself is spacious, modern, beds are very comfy. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need (a toaster included! );) There is plenty of coffee and tea , cappuccino etc. It is EXCEPTIONALLY clean! Plenty of towels. Thank you Maggie :)

The apartment is located not too far from the Varazhdin city center, a place of big stores, and the highway to the sea. Very clean and spacious. Everything you need in the kitchen. Dishes, tea, coffee, etc. Parking is just in front of the door, so if you need to get something from the car, you just step out a few meters passing the cozy outside coffee table surrounded by flowers. Nice English-speaking hostess.

The neighborhood looks silent and safe. Exceptionally clean, very nicely decorated inside. Comfortable beds, kitchen equipped with everything you need, nice and functional bathroom. No idea what detergent was used, but the towels and bed linen smell awesome. Parking on the sidewalk just next to the entrance, enough for one car. If you want a good breakfast, you can try Pekara Tony (bakery) - 1.8 km away.

That was our second time in apartman Botivo Everything was perfect (not good or sth but really perfect) Davor is super helpful and open-minded Apartman is very comfortable (especially bed what is very important after 12 hours of driving car) Top of the top so definitely we will comeback 😉

Peak experience. Mr. Janicar was very friendly and welcoming. After a long drive we were exhausted and thirsty and we longed for a soft-drink. Our dreams came true when he told us all drinks in the fridge were available for free. Beer, soft-drinks. The apartment is well-equipped, there's coffee, sugar, salt, spice, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, hifi system, TV. All you could dream of. It's as beautiful as on the pictures. Very nice colour palette. Reminds me of Pravance. There's a supermarket and bakery 2 minutes walk.

We were passing through, We only stayed one day, but it was worth it. Very nice accommodation, equipped with everything, clean, friendly, very comfortable bed. Overall, everything was great! The host was also very nice!

Everything was perfect. Flat was as clean as brand new. 10/10. Such amazing service. Owner is a very kind Taurus man. I recommend and will surely return!! ❤️

Nearest parking is Pavlinska street, free from Saturday 13.00 till Monday morning.

Splendid location in the middle of center, with all facilities near by. The host very gentle. The house is clean and cosy with all you need and the terrace is great added value.

Upon arrival at the accommodation, we were welcomed by the owner of the villa, who showed us everything and explained it to us. He showed us the surroundings, the children were given a great lemonade right after arrival. The owner of the villa was very nice, helpful, friendly. The accommodation met our expectations. The view from the villa was incredible, the surroundings were pleasant and peaceful.

Very nice apartment with two bedrooms, one of them having a panoramic view down the hill. At the arrival, the housekeeper was ready with a home-made welcome drink. Comfortable quiet place, easy parking.

A very pretty location. Wel equipped, clean, comfortable. Even in wintertime it was nice and cosy. The owner provided enough wood. The electric heater worked well. All was really ok!

The host was very kind and welcomed us with home made brandy. The house was cozy, warm and very clean.

The hotel is located near the city center and near the bus station. I am here for the second time and I recommend it to everyone for a short stay in Varaždin. The rooms are small, the furniture is old, but you have what you need. We slept well. Everything is very clean. The breakfast was delicious. I recommend that you try lunch or dinner at the restaurant, because they cook excellent local food.

Very friendly staff. Room overall was good, clean. We even got some discount for the room for some reason, could be we had the dinner at their restaurant the day we checked in. Food on the restaurant was good, attractive menu the offer.

Property is easy to find with the free and secured parking. The garden sitting area is comfortable and the staff are friendly and welcoming The room was a little bit small but comfortable enough for one night stay. Breakfast was ok.

Perfect location, just 10 minutes walking to the historic center. Breakfast buffet was really delicious. Staff in hotel was nice and helpful.
