The room was comfortable, the mattress was good. The restaurant and bar section in the hotel is lovely and feels trendy and luxurious, particularly in the evening. We LOVED the breakfast. The buffet has a good spread and each item is great. From soft boiled eggs, omelets, sausages, crispy bacon, warm paté, many types of fresh rolls and bread, a delicious chicken mayonnaise, organic butter, jams, and many different types of mini sized pastries. The cook who was working there during the breakfast was very kind and friendly, and you could feel that she had put a lot of thought and love into every item served at breakfast.

Staff were really friendly and helpful especially in the restaurant with our fussy toddler and the waitress brought her colouring to do to help entertain her! Lovely little touch. Spacious rooms. lots of restaurants to choose from. We ate in the Italian which was amazing. Unfortunately the rooms had very thin walls and ceilings, you could hear people walking very loudly, running of taps etc and also hear the church bell & clock at certain times of the day so if you’re a light sleeper it made it difficult. There is also not access to hot drinks even though it states a coffee maker in the room there wasn’t and were told you had to be best western members to get free hot drinks! Also, if buying bar snacks, check pricing- at reception they had a different price to the bar (lower) on the label and then when purchased they actually cost more than the bar, when questioned we were told well that’s what the till system says so that’s the cost (left abit of a sour taste in our mouths!)

Nice hotel with a great restaurant area. Decent sized room with a really comfy bed. Few slight issues to bring the rating down…. Bathroom flooded when you had a shower as was a wet room rather than a cubicle. And it was slightly odd with the only ‘window’ being like a door on to a courtyard which would give no privacy if there was anyone out there. Would’ve liked a kettle in the room. Appreciated the free coffee machine in the restaurant area but I really wanted a coffee when I woke up, and would rather have not have waited until I was dressed!

Rolling in on last minute booking for a hotelroom on a business trip, you don’t expect much. Maybe a standard-issue hotel, a lumpy bed, and a sad breakfast buffet with those rubbery scrambled eggs. But Best Western ToRVEhallerne? This place gets it right. Early check-in on a Sunday—rare, but they made it happen. A bed on the softer side, but comfortable enough to crash after a long day. And then the breakfast. The kind that makes you forget you’re on the road. Bacon, eggs, grilled tomatoes—cooked right, not just sad, lukewarm garnish. Worchestershire Sauce and Tabasco on hand, because some places still respect a proper breakfast plate. Healthy, hearty, and exactly what you need to fuel another day of meetings and miles. No frills, no nonsense, just a damn good stay.

I loved everything ! From the rooms to the balcony’s to the bar, and the breakfast..’oh my god it was an amazing experience and I will definitely book here next time ! Perfect place !

Nice lodge runned by friendly family. Accommodation was spacious and was equipped well. Good beds. Full kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, fridge etc. Basic spices and for example oil for cooking as well. Breakfast was a good start for a day. Fresh croissants delivered for you, cheese, ham, cereals, jams, coffee, tea. And fresh chicken eggs from farms own chicken. Nice sceneries in the farm area. You can go see the goats, rabbits and chicken. You can hear the rooster in the morning. I would visit again for sure. Good value for the money. Cava in the fridge was also nice welcoming gift. Thanks for your hospitality, it was a nice stay for us in the Lodge! Kiitos - in finnish :)

The charming cottage, exclusively ours during the stay, was exceptionally clean and cozy, with a well-equipped kitchen and a fridge replenished daily. Everything we could need was there: various types of bread, fresh croissants each morning, delicious homemade butter, cheeses, jams, sweets, and even alcohol! The beds were comfortable, and we slept wonderfully. There were also video games and even Lego bricks! The place had that typical Danish ‘hygge’ feel. The surroundings were beautiful with fresh air, nature, and lovely houses nearby. I highly recommend taking walks in the area! By car, it’s a short distance to the city and Legoland.”

A homey place to stay with plenty of room and friendly hosts. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast items were a lovely touch. Location was good if you have a car, we drove to Billund, Jelling, Vejle and Viborg for daytrips. Plenty of hot water in the shower and shower gel was provided. The kitchen had everything you need if you want to cook and the coffee machine was great.

I had a wonderful stay at this guest house! While the location isn't the most convenient to access via public transport, the host makes up for it by offering a transfer service from the airport to the Lodge, which was very helpful. The host family was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The Lodge itself is perfectly situated for anyone looking for a peaceful and quiet retreat. I highly recommend this accommodation and would gladly stay here again!

This was a nice country house with a very large full kitchen with dishwasher and clothes washer/dryer. The beds were comfortable and the unit was spacious. It was very quiet and the owners responsive and accommodating. Plenty of food and fresh croissants were provided for breakfast, as well as some beer and a bottle of wine for an afternoon or evening refreshment. Very close to Jelling, the birthplace of Denmark!

Let me start saying that my family and I are very pleased with our stay. It was fantastic! We were in the area to take our kids to Legoland. The hotel is very charming and it has a nice architecture. The premises are great for walking and relaxing. There is plenty of outdoor space for the kids to run and play and great to take family pictures. It is located between Vejle and Billund. It is a 5-minute drive to Vejle and 12-15 minute drive to Billund. The driving to these places is also very pleasant. Our room was spacious and comfortable for our family of 4. It was very clean and it had all we need for our stay. The staff was very kind and helpful. They were always willing to help us. Breakfast was very tasteful and plentiful. The food was fresh. They use local ingredients and partner with the local farmers. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and everything was fresh and tasteful as well. The local area is really nice and there is a lot to do for kids. Vejle is a nice small town and everyone is very friendly. If you don’t have too much time and you are thinking to go visit Copenhagen, just give Vejle a chance. I am glad I did. If you are going to Legoland or be in the area I would really recommend this hotel. You will enjoy every moment.

LOVED this hotel. Staff was wonderful, rooms were clean and modern, breakfast buffet and dinners were DELICIOUS, fresh, and locally sourced. We traveled to this part of Denmark to visit Legoland and chose to stay at the Haraldskær as it was less expensive than hotels near Legoland. What a great decision! Legoland was an easy 15 minute drive in the morning and when we were done, we retreated to this beautiful and calm countryside hotel. The nearby walking and biking trails were amazing and it provided a nice rest after Legoland chaos. The included breakfast was delicious - with locally sources cheeses, honey, and jam. While the dinner was a bit expensive, we did opt for it one night and were delighted with the choice. There aren't any other restaurants in walking distance, but there are grocery stores in Billund and Vejle for picnic dinners. Also, Vejle is an easy 5 minute drive away for other dining options. My only negative comment would be that there are no screens on windows. As we were there during a hot spell, we kept windows open to allow cool evening air in. Spiders were also active during that time period and a few spiders also came in.

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night as part of a trip to Lego House and Jelling. It’s a perfect location - close to both attractions and set in a peaceful, natural area. Room - we booked a family suite which had a king size bed, plus a bunk bed for the children. The room was lovely, spacious and very clean. The only slight negative is that we didn’t find the kind bed mattress particularly comfortable. The bathroom was nice and very clean. We ate in the hotel restaurant in the evening and our meal was delicious. There is one set menu and you choose how many courses you would like. It was good value for money and I love the fact that the hotel is minimising waste by only offering a limited selection of food. Breakfast is included in the room rate and was lovely. There was a selection of eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, bread, cured meats, cheese etc, as well as juices and tea/coffee etc. I would definitely return here.

Haraldskjaer is a beautiful restored and extended old manor house, which is used as a hotel and conference centre. Rooms were on the small side, but clean, modern and well fitted out and we had the prettiest view over the surrounding country side from our window. Staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. Good location for easy access to Vejle, Legoland and Jelling. The hotel restaurant was really, really good. The décor was simple and modern, the service was good, but the food was amazing, especially the breakfast. Homemade bread, straight out of the oven, handmade organic butter from local cows, homemade jam from berries grown locally, fresh homemade berry juice, honey from the farm next door and lots more. Honestly, the best and healthiest breakfast I ever had in a hotel.

Almost in the middle of nowhere, recommended for somebody looking for peaceful and relaxing stay with green pastures around. The breakfast was excellent, everything fresh and very tasty. The room was comfortable although not very large. Very good quality of toiletries. Friendly staff. **** We would especially like to thank Mr. Jakob S. who made our dinners exceptional. It's rare to find such professional and committed employees today.

I really enjoyed my stay at B&B Hotel Vejle! The hotel is new and clean, with a very convenient location just a minute’s walk from the train station. The staff are friendly and even reminded me about the free parking at the hotel; I just needed to enter my details on the iPad at the ground entrance. Free parking is available from 6 PM to 10 AM, which differs from the Apcoa system. I didn’t try the auto check-in, but the staff handled it quickly. There’s no check-out required, and instead of key cards, you use an access code for everything—very convenient! The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet and spacious.

Amazing location, next to the railway station and main bus station. Perfect for us as we planned to visit Billund and then get the train to Copenhagen. This is our second B&B Hotel so we knew what to expect, and it lived up to expectations. We will choose to stay with this brand again in future. Beds were comfortable (including the extra 3rd bed) and pillows were better than in some places we stayed. Bathroom was large and very clean. We enjoyed the breakfast - a very clever way to provide the essentials using a small space, we liked it! There was fresh fruit, yoghurt, porridge, bread rolls, pastries, cheese slices and meat slices. All tasty and good quality. Staff worked hard to keep items topped up and to deal with guest queries.

The hotel is in an ideal location next to the bus and railway station but thanks to the soundproofing you are not affected by any noise. It is clean and the staff are helpful and friendly and the reception and lounge area is adequate for a coffee and snack. It is also just over the road from shops, restaurants, bars and cultural attractions. I would definitely state here again.

I booked the hotel via Booking.com and upon arrival I discovered that I booked the wrong date! Upon contacting Booking I was informed that a change of date was not possible because the hotel denied the change request. The receptionist laughed about it and made the change; I only had to pay the price difference of the booked and used room. Thank you! The hotel itself is more than okay: a small room but clean, good beds and a very good shower. In the morning you can enjoy a good cup of coffee and a small breakfast buffet. What do you need more when on the road?

Positioned right next to both bus and rail station, this made for easy access to moving in and out of Vejle, Despite our room directly overlooking the transport hub, the windows were soundproofed, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. The bed's were comfortable and, whilst the room was compact, with little storage space, we were very happy with the room for the number of nights (4) we were there. Staff of reception were friendly and helpful and the breakfast, described by the hotel as "tiny" was sufficient for our needs. If returning to Vejle, would be very happy to stay here again.

I had an amazing stay in Milling Hotel, Best customer service and wonderful staff. Nice breakfast and refreshing evening snacks to enjoy. Extremely helpful and professional staff, I had a very pleasant stay and will definitely come back here on my next trip. I also like to mention few names, Melanie in the reception was super helpful and kind , also Agnetha which was so kind and thoughtful and prepared for me a take away breakfast as my flight was early in the morning and last but not least Natali from house keeping was so caring and kind as well. Very friendly staff multilingual,helpful and always with smile on the face. Very comfortable beds, spaceful room with views,excellent breakfast really fulfilling with huge variety.Bonus free ice cream,cakes,fruits,lemonades and hot drinks in the lobby where you can play games,watch TV and much more. It was an amazing experience as travelling a lot for the first time felt better than at home. Thank you. I will come back soon!

Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Hotel offers 24/7 free fruit, tea, coffee and icecream in the lobby. Parking is free and there are a lot of parking spaces. Hotel breakfast food variety was limited but very tasty. There is a childrens game room in the lobby. The lobby staff works even during late evening and that was very great for us as we arrived for check-in after 22:30

The staff were friendly, the rooms where clean and large, breakfast was amazing and the ice cream was the cherry on top.

The location is outstanding, with very big gardens and nature. Beautiful facilities as there was a spa and outdoor jacuzzi.

the rooms are very spacious and we had a nice view. you get you robe in the room so you can stroll down to the spa in your robe. The bar had a nice food menu, if you don’t want to eat in the more upmarket restaurant every night. the spa facilities are amazing, especially the comfy beds and the outdoor jacuzzi.

I rarely give 10 but this hotel deserves it. Excellent spa, friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to help. Accommodation was lovely. We had a balcony room with views across the garden and out to the fjord. The food was fresh and delicious, free tea/coffee and juice available, easy access to the countryside and some lovely walks. Very comfortable beds, peaceful surroundings- perfect for relaxing and recharging.

Great hotel, we used the spa during our stay which is fantastic, we had lunch which was delicious and an evening meal which was fantastic. The hotel, bar and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Our loft room was absolutely gorgeous, so comfortable, clean and cosy, the bathroom was great and they have bath oil and candles. You can walk to the marina in 10min which is also beautiful. I did not want to leave and will definitely go back.

Such a wonderful hotel! Great location by super scenic fjord and marina, room was comfortable, spacious, and totally quiet, and the spa was incredible. The building from 1902 (ish) is full of history and architectural charm from that time period, but everything seems fully renovated and in top condition, so really the best of both worlds. Breakfast was great, although not the largest variety of items (but more than enough for 2 days). Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I had a great experience at the Best Western Plus Hotel Fredericia in July 2024 during a family trip. We were passing through Denmark and stopped here for the night. The hotel’s location was excellent, being close to the highway, which made it very convenient for our journey. The room was nice and clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a long day of travel. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that all our needs were met. The parking was close and convenient. Although the breakfast was just okay, the food was tasty. Overall, the hotel’s amenities and service made for a pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel to families and travelers passing through.

We loved our stay here, mostly because the room was so comfortable. We had windows on two sides with a balcony and a beautiful view, the bed was very comfortable and there were 2 nice extra pillows. The bathroom was excellent, with the most amazing shower and nice towels. Breakfast was very good too with a large selection of items.

The Best Western Plus Hotel in Frederecia was fantastic. Parking and arrival were easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was good, but a bit dated, but nothing I would fret about. The breakfast buffet was amazing. There is a gym & pool facility adjacent to the hotel and it provides free access for hotel guests. There is a playground and fitness course in front. There is a walking trail that leads to a playground. The only negative is that there isn't a lot within walking distance of the hotel, but there is plenty within a short drive. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for others in the future.

Stayed for 1 night in a junior suite with 5 beds. Beds were comfortable and these rooms have air conditioning which was needed in June. Didn't sleep great, but the family did. My sleep was impacted by jet lag and not the comfort of the room. The washrooms are modern and have good water pressure. Like every other hotel we stayed at in Scandinavia, showering resulted in water on the floor outside of the shower stall. Hotel is well located in the middle of Denmark for a trip to Legoland Billund. We could open up the patio door to the terrace, beyond which were cows grazing in the field. Disappointed to have just missed the opening hours of the pool. Reception should have informed us when we checked in of the pools hours. There is a nice playground between the hotel and the swimming hall. Breakfast was good. Would stay here again.

This hotel sits at nice and quiet place. We had view overlooking a field with cows - which was well received by our children. The room is clean, spacious with comfortable bed. Extra plus with 2 Tesla wall charger and 4 more from Ok, made our trip much more enjoyable. Excellent service. We would most certainly be back again.

It's impossible not to relax in this hotel. It's a hidden gem in the wood next to Vejle fjord. Best place you can find in Jutland. The breakfast is out of this world. The dinner buffet is also good. The staff is friendly, the beds are comfy and the spa is great. Parking is free and wifi is OK. The view of the fjord is magic. Good value for money.

We love this beautiful peaceful place surrounded by nature. We’ve stayed three times now and will keep going back whenever we’re in Europe. The spa area is so relaxing, the included breakfast is delicious, the nature trails are gorgeous, and the staff are kind and welcoming. It’s a lovely retreat!

Still the best hotel in Jutland. A comfortable, practical and quiet hotel in beautiful surroundings. Free parking. Fast wifi. Good beds. Nice bathrooms. Very nice spa area and indoor pool. Enjoy a fantastic breakfast and a fantastic view. Great choice for couples as well as families.

It is not good that a hotel does not have a secured wifi. This creates uncertainty among the guests. There was a slight smell in the bathroom, even after cleaning. The bathroom should be checked, it seems that water from the shower is seeping into the wall under the door. This can lead to mold. The breakfast and restaurant buffet were very good. The waiters did an excellent job, and were nice and helpful

We stayed at Vingsted Hotel for two nights because of its proximity to LEGOLAND. The room was clean, very quiet, and came with a great breakfast buffet. Some of the staff was not particularly friendly and seemingly annoyed when asked about the pool (accessible only during certain hours!) and the zip line (out of order). The trampolines were a big hit with our kids though. Overall a good experience. Would stay there again.

Really nice hotel. Amazing grounds! Staff really nice and friendly. Kids loved playing in the grounds with all the sports toys available. Had a lovely walk down by the river. Breakfast really good. Good location for Legoland. We would definitely stay here again.

Over all it was good value for a large family. The pool was good and excellent breakfast. However dinner choices are limited and beds were not comfortable.

The room was really spacious, something between 30 and 35 m3, i think! Great view from two sides of the room! Cozy with natural plants above the bed and around the room. Smart TV to connect to YouTube and Netflix could get my kid entertained in the room at night. The breakfast was amazing, lots of fruits and real honey with comb, baked in-house bread and pastry, and a lot more! They had booking for breakfast, could spread between different time slots to not to get pick and caos. The staff in the kitchen were really friendly, specially Marvada! Kids get coloring pages to color every day. It was a great idea to make kids wait until parents finish eatting. Albert parking house was just 4min walk from the hotel that offers free parking frpm 5pm to 9am, that was really blessing! The hotel is sorrunded by a beatiful park with a pond. The building close to the hotel were also really amazing from old time. An art musium as neighbor with free entré! A big shopping center close by, just 3min walk. Lots of resturants with good price between the walk distance from hotel to the shopping center. I would definitly have another stay in this nice hotel in the future!

We stayed at this hotel and really enjoyed it! It's right in the city center, but still located in a park, so it's quiet and peaceful. A great place if you want to be close to everything but also relax in nature. The interior is very cozy and makes you feel at home. The view from the window is beautiful it’s nice to sit and enjoy it, especially in the morning with a cup of coffee. Breakfast was really good, with lots of options for everyone. We definitely recommend this place!

Very comfortable bed, spacious and clean room, delicious breakfast. There is a large countertop in the bathroom to put out cosmetics, which is a great value for me personally. Even though the floor is carpeted, it is clean and nice to walk barefoot on. Great place to stay!

Nice, peaceful place. Clean with a nice enough room and mattresses, nice staff and nice breakfast. Didn’t like that on the day we arrived we were told that we couldn’t use the pool, jacuzzi and sauna from 1pm to 5pm and also the following day between 9am and midday because certain groups were using it. That’s 7 hours of no access to the pool and jacuzzi. 3 stars for this.

everything very clean, swimming pool(they provide towels), jacuzzi amd sauna were perfect. not so many people using it. Breakfast was super good with everything you could ask for. personnel , specially in the restaurant at night were super friendly. We were there with our daughter and they provided high chair,plates,glasses,even special food for her for breakfast as she is 1 year old. they also have a big playground for kids. we would highly recommend it to any family with kids

Really nice place, outside Fredericia but easily accessible by car. A few minutes drive into town, or out to main roads. Nice that it is close to a forest for walking/running/biking. Really nice layout, all rooms on the ground floor with views overlooking the grounds. Balcony door from room leading to terrace area was an unexpected bonus. Great to have a slightly longer (15m) pool to do laps in, and a jacuzzi + sauna to relax in afterwards. Good selection at breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Everything clean and well maintained. Extra bonus that we could buy washing powder and use a washing machine + dryer in the basement to do some laundry! Would definitely consider staying here again if returning to the area.

The hotel was lovely. I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms which was extremely spacious, very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large and extremely clean. There was a large windows facing out onto the grounds of the centre and even a skylight window. Breakfast was very good, mix of warm and cold food and the Dinner was very nice.The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and spoke very good English. Overall a very good hotel.

I stayed here for one night in March 2014. I arrived early and the room was ready. The receptionists were all very friendly and spoke perfect English. All the rooms are on one floor so it can be a walk to your room. I was in J1 which was a bit of a walk but hey. They gave me free access to the swimming pool and the sauna for no charge. The room was really nice with a nice view of the garden. The wifi was amazing, available throughout the hotel and you don't need a password so no hassle, and you could watch videos with no problem. The restaurant finished serving at 19:30, I didn't eat there so I cannot comment on the food and service. But breakfast was served until 09:30 which was nice The bar stayed open until gone 02:00 which was really nice but I paid the price the next day! There is a big car park so no problem for parking, and overall it was a really nice hotel and a nice experience. I will probably return at the end of the month when I am there for a week.

IT was a very pleasant expeirence! Great staff, nice small sauna and pool area, good food, and always helpful hands all around. Thank you very much for the warm hospitality. Only point to mention: There was no fresh coffee specialities at the breakfast available, only instant coffee or pre-made coffee in jugs. This seemed off to me, since the food was otherwise noteworthy nice :-) Maybe a coffee machine that can make latte macchiato at the press of a button mught be a nice extension.

We felt like family at this very charming and historic hotel. Anders and Louisa are such friendly and helpful managers. We do not speak Danish but their English was more than perfect. Our dining experiences were outstanding and the breakfasts were superb. We were in Denmark for meetings and the hotel’s facilities were excellent for all of us. Thank you for an exceptional stay.

Super friendly and helpful reception staff. Suitable free offroad parking for motorcycles. Great location within the town centre and is very easy to find. Small yet comfy room with everything you would expect to find at the price point plus nice and clean. Breakfast was good with a decent selection of hot and cold foods.

Central location just 3 minutes walk from bus / train stations, good strength WiFi and really friendly and helpful staff. Room although small was more than adequate for me.

The staff were really friendly. I got an upgraded room which was great and the location being a short walk from the train station suited me. The breakfast was good with a huge choice and there were some nice touches like apples on reception for anyone to take. They have a luggage room where you can leave bags after checking out.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. My room was in really good condition, as was the bathroom, and both were really really clean. The hotel is also located approx 250 m from the train station so very good location for anyone arr by train.

I understand now what the other reviewers are talking about no reception!! There is NO reception, its a computer on a stand as you go in the front door. You have to register via the keyboard and it spits out your room card from a machine nearby. Im computer savy so I had no troubles but some one not up to emailing and computers would spend alot of time trying to get a room. That said it is a very nice and comfortable hotel. We are 3 adults and found it comfortable. Its very clean and fresh looking. Beds comfortable. Bathroom is large. Plenty of parking on Hotel grounds and its free. Free WiFi worked very well. Breakfast was a little ordinary in choice but plenty of food to fill up on and very fresh looking and tasting. We booked a room for 3 adults and would highly recomend this hotel to anyone.

This is a great little family-run hotel near the charming village if Tørring where we spent a few days visiting friends in the area. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed quite comfy and the decor very pleasant. We enjoyed a lovely, Danish breakfast that was prepared and served by the owners in a very pleasant restaurant area. It was even possible to sit on the terrace for breakfast! There was a great common sitting area, as well, for leisure time. This hotel has an interesting "self-check-in" system which we thought at first could be a concern, but the kiosk worked flawlessly and we were in the door and into our room quickly and easily. No worries!

This was a nice change from the usual 'linens not included', small, expensive hotels in Denmark. We were here on weekend and it was totally deserted (like almost everywhere else in Denmark.) We did not see any other guests during the entire stay; saw a couple of hotel workers during the day (on the other hand, we didn't really see any people in the town either.) Self check-in and it a bit tricky, but if you can use Excel you're computer savvy enough to figure it out yourself. Beside those couple 'minuses' this hotel is a gem! Room is very clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is Spartan but pretty well kept and clean. This is an excellent option if you wanna stay near LEGOLAND (about 30 min away). While I don't think there's anything to do in Torring, the hotel is half to an hour away from Kolding, Vejle. Best of all: the rate. I don't think you can find comparable hotels in Denmark for under $100.

The proprietor was very friendly and I almost felt like I was visiting a Danish home. It was homey and comfortable, but not overstepping into personal life way.

Hos Mette is a wonderful place to stay! It manages to have a sleek design yet feel very homely, the perfect base for a relaxing few days away. Mette herself is a lovely host. She met us on our arrival and was easily contactable via WhatsApp if we needed anything. I would highly recommend trying her amazing Danish breakfast with views of the grounds and wild deer running around!! Despite it being cold outside our room was always warm and cosy!! We only used public transport and walked whilst in Denmark. Hos Mette is around a 30 minute walk from Borkop where you can get buses or trains to Vejle. Børkop doesn’t seem to have any bars or restaurants though, so you will need to cook at HM, travel a bit further or order takeaway. We did have a very nice pizza delivered on our last night which was easy to do through JustEat.

Big comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Plenty of common seating areas also with free tea and coffee. Fridge and kitchen available for use. Superb breakfast (at small extra cost). All spotlessly clean, with a stylish Scandinavian feel, which somehow harmoniously blended a modern industrial and traditional farming look.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, exceptional surrounding forest, well organized outdoor zones. Deers getting to the area to get some food, which is absolutely amazing thing for kids.

Very quiet and cosy spot… beautiful huge garden with deers standing there. Very good equipped kitchen and coffee machines with free tee and coffee and chocolate. Each room is different and beautiful.

Quirky, peaceful, deer and chickens roaming, lovely garden, very good breakfast. Good free to use coffee machines. Other drinks available at shop prices. Amenities were good. Lots of communal areas. Airy and clean. Tasteful decor. Very restful ambience. We were probably a bit too noisy compared to Mette’s regular guests. I had a great sleep there the first night (without the grandchild sharing - i was worried she might leave the room if she woke up.

She made us feel like we were at home. The kitchen area has everything you need to work with. Also the breakfast is assorted with fresh fruits, bread, buns, toast and the chicken eggs. You can get freshly cooked scrambled eggs. They were never cold always warm and tasty. Coffee in every variation: instant, fresh brewed, from the Senso machine etc. Tea is also lot of different types to choose from. It's too much to describe you definitely get all you need and want. I would recommend booking the breakfast option to start your day perfect. You can also find little single packed sweets for kids to take with you on your trip. Cereals are also available and you could mix it with the fresh fruits. Drinks are available like yogurt, orange juice, apple juice, vegan milk, organic milk etc there are many options. We were enjoying our stay very much. You can walk around the place and almost everywhere is a place to sit and just relax. Enjoy the nature, the chickens running around and wonderful hostess Anne always checking on you if everything is ok. If you love Nature this is the place to stay. I highly recommend it.

The host was friendly and thinking along. The location is peaceful, quiet, rural and nearby the Vejle Fjord. There were also chickens, pheasants, swallows and a horse welcoming us :) Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. The beds were comfortable and the view from the window was fairytale like.

This Bed and Breakfast was located about 8 km from Vejle, it is a little difficult to find without a GPS. It is about 35 km from Legoland so would be a good location for anyone planning to go there. A good breakfast was provided with eggs from their own chickens. They also had rabbits and guinea pigs in a hutch in the yard. The grounds were beautifully maintained and landscaped. The room was comfortable and clean.

This property is out in the wilderness & we loved that about it! An old farm building but refurbished with all modern fittings. The rooms were beautiful, the kitchen fully functional, there's Netflix on the TV, free wifi. A cupboard was stocked with toys which was a welcome surprise for our 4-yr-old. We did not eat the breakfast but it sounded good. They also have a table tennis board & a foosball table in the breakfast room for anyone to try. But the main attraction for us was outdoors, there's a big yard for the kids to play in & rolling fields surrounding the house. They have horses, hens, a rabbit & a cat on the farm, great for kids! Also, a trampoline & outdoor seating for eating out on summer days. One could hear the birds chirping all day long, it was very beautiful :)

A very clean and comfortable apartment, easily accessible by car, at a convenient location for visiting Legoland and Givskund ZOO. Upon arrival, we noticed that some linen was missing, but the host, despite the late hour, was very friendly and promptly resolved the issue. It was also convenient to have plastic wrap and aluminum foil available in the kitchen.

This hotel is around 15km from Legoland, and 13km from Billund Airport, and I think it would make a good family stay location. The rooms are in a courtyard which looks a little like a stable yard with a row of rooms on each side and parking in the centre. The rooms have a kettle and also a mini-bar with snacks and alcohol. Most of the rooms have foldout bunk beds to make the rooms into family rooms. The shower is a wet-room type which I assume makes it accessible for disabled people. I ate the meal of the day in the restaurant that evening, which was beef with new potatoes, carrots mushrooms and gravy. This was followed by a desert of pancakes and raspberry syrup all washed down with a real ale called Jakobson. It was absolutely delicious albeit a little pricey at £30, but then You do pay a little more for eating out in Denmark than you do in the UK. Breakfast was a little disappointing as it was mainly bread and different types of cheeses. I would prefer a little more variety than that if possible. I would stay here again if I was in the area as it is well located for the airport and reasonably priced at £85 per night considering it’s so close to legoland.

There was plenty of information from Go-Sleep before I arrived, so getting into my room was easy. The apartment was surprisingly large, and thoughtfully designed. It's situated in a quiet area, some ways away from the nearest towns so having good transport is important, but as long as you have a bicycle or a car, it is easy enough to get groceries or find restaurants to eat at. The property looks like it was recently renovated, and this was done with exceptional care and attention to detail. I was genuinely impressed with how well my unit was finished. The kitchen was fairly small but very complete, and even included a half-size dishwasher, making this a great choice if you wish to stay a few days to explore the surrounding area. I especially appreciated the inclusion of some tea and coffee. While there were other guests around, I never heard anything from them, and in general had a good nights' sleep. If you care about such things, the television was one of the largest I have seen in properties like this.

We stayed here for 1 night; the room was small but ok for what we needed it had space for a couple and a child. The bathroom was not perfectly clean but acceptable, the bad part is that the shower has a curtain only and all the floor gets wet when you shower. The location for legoland is great if you have a car its only 15 mins away from the park but if you don't have one it can be a bit difficult to get to. On the good side we were late for breakfast but still they arranged some coffee and food for us which was extremely nice!!!

Clean, floor-heated bathroom was top, especially we arrived in the evening, outside pouring and having very strong wind. A hot shower w/ the floor heating was just awesomely reconfirming. Very comfortable bed. Quiet room, parking in front of the room. Couldn’t wish for anything better.

Lovely place. Spotlessly clean and cozy. Super comfy beds. Amazing nature all-around- perfect for a quiet and restful stay. Good location - just a short drive away from LegoHouse and Legoland. The Host waited for us even though we arrived after check in time (we got delayed). Delicious breakfast - no complaints! PERFECT

Room was quite updated but the furniture was dated , I suppose antiques. Good indoor bicycle storage . Owners were very pleasant, friendly and helpful Room clean with small but nice and clean bathroom . If on bike the closest restaurant is at least 5km. away from the B&B . Comfortable bed. Breakfast was served in a basket and was good with home made fresh bread .

The house is in a quiet place, with green view. It is fully renovated and it preserves some of the original furniture very well restaured. It leverages sustainable energy with wind mill and heat pump. Stinne makes nice breakfast and she can tell good stories about the area. The kitchen is well equipped and everything is clean. The room is large and super clean and with a deep silence that allows regenerating sleeping. The house roof and courtyard was super nice to watch in the morning, with the Xmas lights on and that sense of integration into nature.

This is Hostel - every thing simple but clean. Personal is young, friendly and helpful. There is kitchen which you share with others and you can cook your own food. It is fully equipped. You can order breakfast - it doesn’t have a lot of different things, but it has general food. The best bonus- if you buy ticket to the zoo for 1 day from reception (the price is the same) - you get free tickets for all other days you stay there. Because zoo is 100 meters from the Hostel - you can use it free of charge like playground and restaurant. That was great for us, we stayed 4 days and children were happy to be in the zoo every day just to play 1 hour and have dinner.

Friendly staff, nice and clean room, basic but everything you need. Kitchen clean and tidy. Decent breakfast. Wifi. Great location. Free parking in front of hotel. Nearby supermarket. Zoo across the street (lovely zoo btw!), legoland 20 minutes. Vejle city is 20 minutes with a cozy city center. Would definitely recommend this hostel!

Very cute place, very family friendly, we rented a car so it was only 20min away from Legoland. Kitchen had all we needed to prep some dinner, the breakfast had great value, it was super delicious!!!! Very easy check in, flexible hours, quick responses. We are very satisfied!

Friendly and welcoming staff, nice family room, nice facilities for short and medium stays for families or groups of travelling adults. I loved the space (kitchen, babyfoot, pool table and other), the comfortable beds and the clean bathroom. Highly recommended

Location is perfect, 3 min on foot to the zoo, 20 min by car to Legoland. Beautiful nature around, a breath of fresh air and quietness after Aarhus. There's a common kitchen where you can prepare food or make tee/coffee, children's playroom inside and playground outside, lounge for adults. Very nice design of the hotel with animal pictures all around.
