Fantastic location and staff! Bar staff were fabulous and made the best cocktails we had throughout our trip to Italy! Would love to go back again, jacuzzi on the terrace was brilliant and the views of the sunrise were outstanding! Thank you for a brilliant time!

Very comfy location. We got a modern room which had a specific Venetian vibe and really enjoyed it. The jacuzzi was great and we really enjoyed it, especially after a long day of walking all around Venice. The breakfast was also good and tasty.

We had two rooms. Honey moon sweet and a close by room with twin beds for our kids. The jacuzzi on the top floor could be converted to a bed for the kids, easily. That would have been amazing

We got a high floor room with outdoor jacuzzi. The room size is good compared to other Venice hotels. The location is ideal. It's right on the canal with water taxi very close by. You can reach central Venice by foot very easily but the hotel itself is not on the most touristy part of Venice. Ideal location to have quiet sleep and close to get to the central Venice to see all the tourist spots.

It was right on the water very close to everything. There’s a stop right in front of the door so easy accessible from anywhere in Venice. Staff was Amazon, SO to Fillipe and the fantastic staff behind the bar. The room Was great! I had the suite, clean, big, jacuzzi, what’s not to like?

Big room: we were 2 adults & 2 teenagers and the room was very spacious with the teens separated by a sliding door. Big shower and bathroom Excellent WiFi: fast & reliable Professional and helpful staff Excellent location: quiet and peaceful despite being very strategic Alilaguna to and from the airport practically outside the hotel. 10 -15 minutes to the train station Breakfast was excellent: efficient and welcoming staff, huge choice and top quality food Balcony with jacuzzi

Staff is extremely attentive. Marco helped us locate a photographer to document a special occasion. We were extremely satisfied with the handling of the appointment and fees. They made everything so easy for us! It was just perfect. They also handled the transfers to airport so we didn't have to worry about anything. We have very special memories and professional pictures of our time in Venice during Carnival. The room was very confortable with a view of the canal. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. The staff also suggested many wonderful shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay at Carnival Palace. The location was perfect and quiet but within walking distance of many attractions. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Venice

Quiet, clean, peaceful, beautiful, safe. Food was delicious. Bar had good drinks. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful 10/10 would recommend. Also, my daughter has celiac and allergic to gluten they had numerous options for her at breakfast and helped us identity safe places for her to eat and called and made us a reservation.

The jacuzzi hot tub in the junior suite was great. Staff super. Clean root. Close to the train station leading to Venice. Excellent Trattoria on site.

We shared we were going to arrive at 1am and Anna provided details of how to enter, room number, WiFi... There are taxis to the local station at the cost of €25. Back to the accommodation, the room was large with a jacuzzi and immaculate. The breakfast was amazing, fresh cooked to order and filling. The credit goes to the hard working staff especially Ilaria, Clarissa and of course Anna. Don't tell anyone but this place is AMAZING.

Do Ciacole in Relais is one of those surprising places you find by accident. We were looking for a place to spend a couple of nights after a multi-day cruise, specifically to spend a bit more time touring Venice. Which we did, but found so much more! To start with, the evening manager (Clarissa) immediately recognized upon our arrival that we had a LOOOONG day. Like some angel from hotel heaven, she helped us from the start to arrange transportation for the next day of touring, ordered pizza for dinner since we arrived after the close of the dining room, and even got beer for us to go with our pizza. Our next day's excursion started just as the hotel restaurant was opening. The day manager (Anna) was also the breakfast bar host, and got us off to a great start with a wonderful breakfast of croissants, juices, and a couple of cups of REALLY good coffee. Our transportation (arranged by Clarissa) arrived five minutes early. The service was prompt and the ride comfortable (and very much affordable!). The beds are comfortable, and the bath was spotless (the shower is as big as a dance hall!). Do Ciacole is a place to put down on your 'Do this again!' list - I want to explore so much more of the farm (which we missed because of our tight schedule).

After 14 days in Italy and 9 hotels later, this turned out to be the best of many good ones. Unfortunately, it was our very first. If only they were all this good. Our receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful in guiding us around when we first arrived. The hotel is actually an updated country house or barn that has been modernly and tastefully decorated. Our room was spacious and comfortable and we had our best sleep there that night. The parking was free and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. Again the best one that we had of our entire 2 week trip. My only complaint is that it is quite a distance from anywhere and we had trouble finding it. It is right at the end of a long country road. We had our car but for someone that does not it would be very difficult to get around. But if I had to pick a spot to stay for any length of time it would be this one. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so pleasant.

The hotel is located off a dirt road in a small little village. There is a great restaurant on site and the hotel itself is linked to the restaurant. You can tell the rooms have been remodeled recently and are very spacious and modern with very comfortable beds. It is a very quiet area which we enjoyed after being in Venice. The train station (which has free parking) is about 7 minutes away by car. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Excellent location, just off the most busy streets to be calm, but only a step away from everything. (To be accurate: We stayed in a separate apartment just off the hotel, with its own jacuzzi - it was great value for money)

Gorgeous apartment suite in a great location. Less than 10 mins walk to San Marco or Rialto and Accademia Bridge. On a lovely Piazza. Lovely roomy apartment/suite with Jacuzzi in a separate room. Great nespresso machine and a fridge with a small freezer - handy for storing some food/milk. Two vaporetto stops on the grand canal within 7 mins walk (number 1 and 2 vaporetti) Gondola rides and water taxis available right in the square in front of the suites.

The location is nice and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. I booked a spacious suite which was clean and elegant. I loved the decorations and the high ceiling . The bed was comfortable too. I also enjoyed the shower and the bathroom amenities. Breakfast was a feast. There were so many delicious options to choose from. Overall, our 2 night stay felt luxurious.

Very atmospheric pallazzo, very clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were extremely efficient, helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast is exceptional and again the staff could not have been more welcoming and quick to serve us. The hotel is located in a quiet square, but within very easy walking distance of the Accademia etc. Extremely good value for money.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this property! From the very beginning, the staff made all the difference — incredibly friendly, warm, and always eager to help with anything that could make our stay more enjoyable. A great way to start each day before heading out to explore. The location is another major advantage: just 50 meters from the bus stop that takes you straight into the heart of Venice. Super convenient and stress-free, especially for those who want to enjoy the city without dealing with traffic or expensive parking. Our room was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, offering a relaxing retreat after long days of sightseeing. All in all, this place is a gem for anyone looking to explore Venice while staying in a peaceful, well-connected area. Excellent value for money and a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended!

An exceptional hotel at the most convenient location if you want to visit Venice. If you travel by car, the spacious parking will be a huge advantage as then you can head to Venice by bus (stop across the street) in 15min. Beautiful garden and delicious breakfast/dinner. The staff was extremely kind and helpful with all our questions about Mestre and Venice. You can also buy tickets for bus an vaporetto at the reception. Finally the room was spacious, the beds very comfortable and the bathroom very clean with hot water. Everything perfect, if ever in Venice, I would surely book again!

Our experience at Hotel Ai Pini was absolutely outstanding! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The hotel is spotlessly clean, both in the rooms and in all common areas, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was truly exceptional – delicious, varied, and with high-quality options to suit every taste. It was the perfect start to each day. We had the pleasure of staying at Ai Pini on a recent trip to visit Venice. We drove in and there is ample free parking at the hotel. Our room was modern and clean with a very comfortable bed and a nice size. The breakfast was tasty and a nice selection. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant on our day of arrival and it was absolutely delicious. There is a bus stop right out front of the hotel that takes you right into Venice and it's only $1.5 euros. The staff was very helpful. We only spent one day in Venice and that was not enough for us and plan on returning. If you are visiting Venice and are planning on seeing St Mark's be sure to book your tickets ahead of time. We thought we could just walk in and it was sold out on the day we were there. You might want to bring an external phone charger as you will be using your phone a lot trying to navigate your way around Venice. It's fun getting lost in Venice but eventually you'll want to find your way out or back to your hotel. A gorgeous city and Ai Pini is a nice place to stay. We'd stay there again

Nice spacious and clean rooms. Comfortable beds and big bathroom with shower. The first evening we had pasta in the restaurant and everything was delicious. Breakfast was not enormous but very good and enough for most people with different taste. Good coffee. The staff was very friendly, helpful and polite, giving us directions and tips what to see and do during our visit in the old town. The hotels location is excellent with bus nr 7 direct to Venice old town just across the street. Private ”free of charge” parking with camera surveillance and EV-charging available for only €15.

The accomodation was excellent, we booked a room whith a large terrace and jacuzzi. It was wonderful, we enjoyed this equipment. We were enthusiastic about the sea wiew, which belonged to the terrace. The breakfast was delicious and we found everything we imagined :)The staff was helpful

Hotel Greif is situated in a quiet little back street moments from the beach. The parking is secure and accessible. It is modern, has a feel of a hotel greater than 3 star. It has stylish decor and unique light fixtures. It backs on to the beautiful gardens of Hotel Casa Bianca. The window view creates a sense of calm, while eating breakfast in the mornings. The variety was fantastic and good value for money, a very extensive and delicious range. The breakfast area is breezy, luxuriously spacious, and well attended. The staff are exceptionally helpful - both hospitality and reception. The room comes with a set of deck chairs on the waterfront. The balcony of room 109 was the best for relaxing in the evenings. The room was kept immaculately clean. The shower was powerful. There was a safe, a small fridge on the wall, and good connectivity (Wifi). The air con works well. The location of this hotel was very convenient and whilst in the centre of a busy town , the little backstreet wasn't noisy. There are free bicycles. We would definitely come back! Thank you!!!

i have to say i was pleasantly surprised (there are so many places that are outdated). the hotel is new/renovated with comfy beds. the staff at the reception and at the breakfast was really nice,always ready to help,even arranged me vegan brioche for breakfast. there are lots of things on the buffet,from fruits through sweets/salty things, so i’m sure everyone finds what they like. hotel is about 2 minute walk to the beach which is super comfy in case you need something from your room :D parking for free (for a deposit in cash which you’ll get back upon check out) is just 2minutes walk and is guarded (also very kind people 😊). the room and bathroom is nice and clean,equipped with everything. maybe the shower is a bit small,but i didn’t mind.you cannot see the sea from the balcony -or at least not from my room,but has two chairs so it’s functional-if you want to sit outside.

The breakfast was fantastic and has exceeded all of our expectations. There was a variety of traditional sweet italian breakfast (at least 10 different options including croissants with pistachio cream), but you could also have scrambled eggs, veggies, fruits, prosciutto, cheese, pizza, granola, you can order any coffee you'd like and even have processo for breakfast. The breakfast lasted from 07:45 till 11:00. The room was very nice and cosy, every day we've got fresh towels and could use the bicycles for free any time. We have used the parking 150 m from the hotel, but whenever we needed to pack/unpack, we just parked right in front of the entrance for that time, so it was totally fine. When we needed to wash our clothes, it was solved in a couple of hours, the staff in general was very friendly and professional above all expectations.

Amazing canal view and just a few steps to St Mark’s Square, this modernised palazzo with icy air conditioning and clean, white, quiet minimalist bedrooms is perfect as an explorer’s base. So exciting to arrive by water taxi through the old river entry. Polite and helpful staff. There is a fantastic cafe just outside the private courtyard which serves a well priced and delicious breakfast.

Location was perfect, super central! The room was spacious with a view of the canal and the bed was very comfy. The coffee machine and spacious fridge were a nice touch. The lookout onto the canal was amazing and the host was wonderful and very helpful.

We stayed here for just two days, to visit the Biennale. Stefano, our Host was really friendly and the communication between us was fast, which we like! The Room was comfortable, we slept really good and it was perfect for the short stay. The area was nice and you were really fast by good restaurants and bars. The room was clean and we felt comfortable. Thank you very much for that warm and cozy stay ! We will visit again for sure

Excellent location. 5 minutes, walk from Rialto Bridge. 100m to St Mark's Square. 20 restaurants within 2 minutes, walk. Very quite location, but right on a lovely canal. We stayed in a Junior Suite, with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Big bed for parents and a bunk bed for teens. And we had enough room, in fact, for Venice we though our suite was very large. Recently renovated, large bathroom. Good coffee machine too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Grabbed a gokdola ride right outside the hotel. Lovely little bar just across the way for Campari spritz and coffee.

Rooms were very clean, comfortable, modern and spacious. Amenities were perfect. Hotel is very well located, with views of the canals. Hotel offers washer and dryer service and luggage storage. Location was perfect. Very secure area. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was outstanding - we stayed in the suite (the red room) with outside jacuzzi. The staff were all exceptional, particularly concierge Marco who really looked after us. Thoroughly recommended.

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel from start to finish. Max, the bartender, truly elevated our evenings—his cocktails were incredible, and he had great dinner recommendations that never missed. He’s not just mixing drinks; he’s creating experiences. Breakfast was another highlight, with a wide selection of fresh, delicious options to suit all tastes—plenty of variety and everything was top quality. The hotel staff went above and beyond, helping us book local tours and securing dinner reservations, which made our stay so much smoother and more enjoyable. This hotel strikes the perfect balance of comfort, service, and location. We’d definitely stay here again!

A 10 out of 10 stay. This was a return visit to this hotel after first staying there approx 12 years ago. Great professional and always helpful staff at all levels. Our Superior Double bed room was spotlessly clean, large for Europe and very comfortable. The mattress was firm which is very much to our liking and the std pillows supplied were the best of 4 weeks travelling across Europe; because they were also firm and thus practical. The in room air con was a god send when mid Sept outside temp maxs were still 25 – 28 C. The in room fridge though struggled to get down to 8 C which was just suitable for my medication. Best to not open a window as there were lots of mosquitoes out and about outside with the odd one getting into the room from the corridor. Breakfast was pleasing with yoghurt and fresh fruits and some pre-cooked items + salads. Always a shame though in a 4 star stay that the pre-cooked food is not kept food safe warm. The location is perfect as it is way less busy than central Venice but there is still good ferry access and the railway station is a 10-20 min walk away. At approx $530 AUD / night by booking direct it is a good price for Venice. Their city tax is then extra on that price. The little canal side restaurant close by called "Very Good" is highly recommended especially for its freshly made pasta. We ate there all 3 nights of our stay. Friendly efficient staff there too.

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at the Carnival Palace. The hotel is perfectly located in Cannaregio—our favorite area of Venice—just an easy 8-minute walk from the train station. The property itself is stunning. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and tastefully decorated. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the bathroom was huge with a smart, modern layout. Breakfast at the Carnival Palace truly exceeded our expectations—it felt more like dining at a fine restaurant than a hotel buffet. Another highlight was the hotel’s proximity to Fondamenta della Misericordia, a lively street filled with fantastic dining options. We found ourselves returning there again and again during our trip. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Marco, who made our stay especially memorable. He was warm, personable, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. On our very first day, he arranged a special dinner at a beautiful waterside restaurant, where we were greeted by the staff and seated at the perfect table. It was such a thoughtful gesture and an evening my wife and I will cherish for years to come. Thank you, Marco, and thank you Carnival Palace for such a wonderful stay. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice.

Excellent place to stay in Venice, especially if, like me you do not like being at a hotel that is right in the midst of all the crowds and tourists. This hotel is perfect as it was very convenient to the water taxis, and easy enough to walk. It was also very convenient to get to the train station walking with our luggage. They do have a breakfast available for an additional fee. Prior to our stay, they had the best communication with me and giving us suggestions on how to arrive there, couple offers of assistance. The hotel was very clean and neat. We did not utilize the restaurant/bar that was connected to the hotel. There was one there. The perfect location right near the Jewish ghetto and a 10 minute walk to the train station. Comfortable and clean! Will definitely stay there again next time I’m in Venice.

We love this landmark hotel. It is an institution in Venice and we don't think anywhere compares to it. It is five minutes and a world away from the heat and hustle of the main island which means seeing the sites of the city couldn't be easier but when you want some downtime you can stay by the hotel's beautiful pool to relax and keep cool. The Dior pop up cocktail bar overlooking St Mark's Square is the perfect spot for a sundowner and the Cips restaurant serves the most delicious food on the lagoon's edge with Venice as a backdrop. The staff are super friendly and efficient. The concierge team were extremely helpful and organised. However........ the interiors of the rooms are tired and dated. The housekeeping team keep them spotlessly clean and there are comfy beds and beautiful linen but the rest of the renovations planned for this year can't come soon enough. However, don't let this put you off. it is still the bee's knees!

Visited Venice for the first time and was told we could see it in three days. They were right. But we learned that we wanted far more time at the Cipriani. I would literally go back just to stay here. It is an elegant hotel in every way. The private water shuttle sets the tone. The staff are professional and very, very good. The views from the various restaurants are incredible. I have to point out a dinner we had at Cip's Club was perfect. Do not miss this restaurant. The hotel is a very short boat ride away from the crowds of Venice, but feels like another city it is so peaceful. I cannot wait to return.

The hotel surpassed all of our expectations. It was spotless with beautiful rooms and the best service we’ve had anywhere. Dinner at Cip’s was fantastic, again with perfect service - attentive but managing to make you feel welcome and relaxed at the same time. We were upgraded on arrival as it was my husband’s 40th and everything has been considered, including birthday breakfast cake and champagne! We can’t wait to visit our next Belmond hotel but the team at the Cipriani have set the bar very high! Thank you so much!

Wonderful property, we stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was beyond beautiful. Bathroom details were amazing and the products they give for use are great! Loved the saltwater pool, amazing pool bar service; dining at Cip’s for dinner was divine and has a great view of the sunset. Great breakfast offerings. Impressive how they have falconers patrolling the dining areas with hawks, to keep the pigeons from bothering by the diners. A pricey stay but SO special.

Fabulous room with a beautiful view of the lagoon. The staff were excellent and catered to our every need. The views and scenery ( gardens, Olympic pool area etc) were stunning. Had the best fish meal ( turbot and asparagus) I’d ever tasted in a restaurant (and it was only the bar restaurant). The chocolates they gave us in the room on arrival were divine. Breakfast was lavish. We felt pampered the whole time and had a wonderful romantic holiday.

Very nice hotel and super friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, they were let down by the water taxi firm who were late to great us at the airport. We were suitably compensated so happy with the end result. We were upgraded to a twin balcony room with jacuzzi. We didn't need the jacuzzi and the walls of the terrace block any available view.

Great location (little quieter then some other areas), great staff and very nice hotel and room (had the room with the Jacuzzi on balcony) Staff very good arranging transport to and from airport and other locations... lots of restaurants around it as well as a little grocery store about 50m's away.

This hotel has the initial wow feeling as you enter. Located in a great location away from the hustle and bustle of the grand canal area but a short water bus ride to everything you need. Our room was on the top floor with an outside jacuzzi. It was labelled as panoramic view, which was disappointing of scaffolding and aerials. I thought because of the price point the room would have been larger, so disappointing especially as no chairs in the room or wardrobe space just an exposed rail. Bed was ok had to ask for additional pillows these should be left in the room as standard so guests have a choice. Bathroom was big and spacious although walls in the shower could have done with a proper clean. Along with walls at the side of the bed which were heavily stained (this was said in a previous review too). My husband enjoyed the outside bath although the first night it leaked all over the patio floor. This was repaired quickly the following day but really should be checked before guests arrive. The breakfast although not included in the ridiculous price was relatively cheap at €10 each and offered a fantastic choice definitely value for money. The staff at breakfast were exceptional, always friendly and welcoming attentive and offering whatever you want, definitely the stars of the hotel. When booking the room through Expedia a number of the photos were digital images instead of real photos especially of the outside terrace and bath area. I felt these were misleading!

Perfect visit to Venice I hesitated to write the review because I want to come back and find the hotel available and the board walk as spacious. However, I can’t keep a gem to myself. End of May early June 25 th anniversary. Brought our two kids along. 19/16 girl boy - adult size. Book and communicated seamlessly with hotel months before. Train to Venice and from the station a porter (20 euro) took out bags and walked us 5 m to water taxi (90 euro) to our hotel for our stay in Venice. The hotel Palazzo Venezanio is situated on a very wide and less crowded and beautiful boardwalk. This boardwalk is the home of private docks for yachts 3-14 dys including Tatasu estimated at 15-50 million (no one knows bc no one has seen inside). From the hotel you walk 15-30 m to the main canals, tourist shops, high end shops passing 5 beautiful churches. The hotel gives perfect directions. The hotel has black and gold interior. The lobby is comfortable like a library with a small bar and designer fragrances to sample. The staff speak exceptional English and are extremely helpful and give the stay high end attention. Our two rooms include a beautiful room with two twins and high end shower with Vegas style LED lights. The suite we had was a large comfortable bed with a sunken level with high end jacuzzi. Each morning we ate breakfast down stairs included. Rivera Venezia and grocer 100 feet away.

A very comfortable short stay at this hotel close to the train station. The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed, nice bathroom with welcome bath after a long train trip. Staff were friendly, helpful and always professional Breakfast buffet was plentiful, varied and delicious. Highly recommended place to stay if visiting Treviso.

Excellent location 5 minutes away from the train station. Our room was very clean with a nice terrace looking over the city and the river at the far end and most important very quite and comfy beds. All staff were very gentle and helpful Breakfast was great and the serving staff were nice especially Maria who took care of all our needs professionally with a smile. In few simple words, a nice decent Hotel, I recommend it.

Location of the hotel was superb (at least for us ,husband and wife age 61 and 58 respectively ) " minutes walk to train /bus station ,5-10 minutes walk to Treviso town centre .Bed not very comfy +very basic rooms but very clean .Breakfast was ok,typical continental breakfast (scrambled,not boiled eggs eggs which I am always suspicious about average ),some fruit ,the usual hot drinks.Reception Staff is lovely and helpful.

This place is amazing! It has so much history and character but recently renovated interior with elegant and modern updates. We thought about staying on the Grand Canal, but I wanted something a little off the main path but not so far that it felt remote. This the was perfect combination. Our room had the gondola view, and we enjoyed watching the boats and people pass by. Valentina is a gem!!! Our train was running late, and she helped me stay in contact with new arrival info. She even arranged a water taxi for us so the driver knew exactly the correct location. My kids loved arriving by boat and stepping into the hotel through that entrance. Honestly, that saved us from so much frustration trying to find the hotel. It may be a little pricey but after a long day traveling, it was perfect. Valentina gave us some restaurant recommendations along with sightseeing suggestions. All were spot on!

If you are a do it yourself, no glitz no glamour this is your spot. Property is clean, but I saw no one. I had the canal view and the noise starts at 0430a until approximately 9p. Location is walkable for sure to all stores, restaurants, San Marco piazza and waterfront, however after 9p it is very quiet and dark and I was alone. I suggest perfect for a simple no frills couple or anyone that fees safe alone. Check in and out were easy peezy!!! I emailed for trash to be picked up and new towels and they were there immediately. We had an amazing stay! Our room was absolutely gorgeous with the balconies overlooking the river with all the gondolas going by. We got a serenade and it was amazing! The property was beautiful, very clean and the location the best!! It was very close to walk either to Piazza San Marco or to Rialto bridge. The coffee machine and the water in the room was great! The correspondence prior and during the stay was immediate. We were able to leave our bags after checking out at a locker downstairs on the first floor, which is extremely helpful. They even had toilets in the lobby prior to leaving back to the train station.We hope to return soon and really recommend it!

Beautiful hotel to stay at with my partner and amazing view of the canal. Room service was not an issue since there were restaurants/bars nearby. Also, the central closet in hallway had all the needs for the room when we ran out of toilet paper, so it was convenient.

Room was very spacious and clean. It was a renovated room. Laundry was in common area which was helpful. AC was perfect. Canal view was spectacular from window. Everything was with 5 minutes work. Overall a great stay.

Lovely location, breakfast was awesome. Staff were lovely. Loved the jacuzzi bath. Close to some lovely restaurants and churches.

This is beautifully designed hotel. Everything is part of the deco scheme. Staff are friendly, rooms are large and have every amenity, including jacuzzi. There is turndown service and a very good breakfast. The location is perfect for visiting Venice--two vaporetto stops just steps from the hotel, on different canals, with frequent service. The neighborhood is relatively quiet (stay in Dorsoduro, not San Marco, which is overrun at all hours!), there are good restaurants (try Ai Cugnai), and travel to other parts of Venice is easy. This hotel is a real find. Stay here.

We had an amazing stay in this superb hotel. I was celebrating my birthday there and the staff did everything to make it extra special - they helped us with booking a restaurant, and surprised us by upgrading our room to a suite and leaving a complimentary bottle of prosecco in the room. The staff were all so helpful, lovely and thoughtful, really exceptional service. The room was fab - huge comfy bed and large bathroom with a separate shower and jacuzzi tub. Excellent buffet breakfast with lots of choice. Loved the gorgeous art deco features and antiques around the hotel. Location wise it was perfect, away from the busy centre in laid back Dorsoduro, but only a couple of minutes from the Accademia bridge across to San Marco and there are two vaporetto stops nearby. Thanks so much for making it an unforgettable trip to Venice, would happily stay again.

Beautifully decorated in an art deco style. Well maintained despite being not particularly new. In a reasonably central location but also not too busy area. Two or three minute walk from different two main water taxi stops giving access to different routes and directions with reasonably level walking from each. Hotel staff were friendly and helped us with planning out our day and choosing between some alternative ideas. They also gave some good restaurant suggestions. There may be better breakfast options nearby if you don’t mind walking a few minutes. We had a canal view which may not be worth paying a premium for, but the rooms themselves were pleasantly designed and sufficiently spacious. Good in room coffee and black out shades.

Room was spacious and comfortable with a large bed and sufficient space to lay out two luggages. Table space was also adequate. They provided free champagne too. Bathroom was very spacious and had a premium feel with the interesting rain & side shower. Breakfast buffet was amazing as well with fast beverage service and promptly replenished food. Front desk concierge was impeccable - the water bus didn't arrive at all on the morning of our train out of Venice and we scrambled to find a water taxi. The concierge was very helpful even though we'd already checked out, and got us a water taxi on very short notice. We made it to our train in the end with 1 minute to spare.

Hotel Mariver offers top quality in the beautiful beach area of Lido di Jesolo. Big pool that was perfectly heated (mid September) the hotel is next to the beach and promenade so perfect for doing nice (beach) walks, we had 2 spacious rooms with perfect sea view (the sea view is absolutely worth the little extra money), big terrace at the room, rooms very clean, mini bar in the room, housekeeping staff very friendly, actually all staff were VERY friendly and helpful, you can use free bikes at the hotel so you can easily go to the centre (Via Bafile for shopping that is about 3 km with the bikes), area around the hotel also has many nice restaurants ... breakfast is very well served with many choices, all kinds of eggs, juices, delicious fresh fruits, pancakes, very wide choice and having breakfast outside at the pool area is perfect start of the day! we hope to stay again at hotel Mariver

The room was cosy and very clean. Comfy bed and a great shutter which keeps the light out if you prefer a dark room to sleep in. I booked a partial sea view but would recommend booking a full sea view if available, as our balcony faced the street. Very friendly and helpful staff. They organised a taxi to collect us from the airport (80 euros) and allowed us to check-in late on Sunday night. The staff also gave advice regarding public transport back to the airport. The heated pool is great but you have to pay to use the sun loungers at the pool. The sun loungers on the beach are free and I was impressed by the safe on the parasol. The beach and the sea were clean. Although there are a lot of sun loungers on the beach it didn't feel too crowded. The hotel is a short walk from some lovely restaurants. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant but based on the breakfast I would expect it to be good. Getting public transport to Venice was easy despite having to take 2 buses and 1 boat. It took approx 1hour 45mins to get there.

We had an absolutely amazing experience here! The service was outstanding – the team works together seamlessly, and everything in the restaurant ran like clockwork. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive; not once did we feel like anyone was annoyed, tired, or overwhelmed. It’s clear that everyone genuinely wants guests to enjoy a peaceful and pleasant holiday. We decided to add lunch and dinner on site – and we’re so glad we did! The food was excellent, a real gourmet experience. The bar was just as impressive. Even though the team is quite young, the service was exceptionally professional. Classic cocktails were taken to another level – honestly, we’ve never had better drinks. I also want to highlight the housekeeping and other services, which are often overlooked but just as important. The housekeeping staff came to our room even multiple times a day, paying attention to small details that made the experience truly special.

Nice and clean rooms, with spacious balconies. Delicious breakfast with a variety of choice. Pool area is very nice with bar service and sunbeds. Direct access to the sandy beach with complementary sunbeams and shades. Situated on the main walking street with plenty of restaurants and bars.

Great location near all the shops and restaurants. The hotel is very well maintained and clean. Lovely pool and right by the beach. Staff very friendly and professional. Would definitely go back.
