Is the second time this year we are at this location. We really enjoy everything, all looks nice and taken care. Location is amazing: close to walking path neat the harbor, close to children park. We rented also the outdoor jacuzzi this time. All great! Communication with host - effective.

Fantastic apartments in a quiet location not far from the beach. There is lots of outdoor space; a huge garden, perfect for children, and a terrace with hot tub. The property is gated, so it feels safe if you visit with family (also ideal for guests parking) . Property managers are very friendly and accommodating and we would definitely visit again!

Nice location, modern & cozy interior design. Clean. Air conditioner. Bedroom windows with additional night blinds. Fast & free wifi and smart TV with free Netflix etc. Friendly and welcoming hosts.

Everything was amazing. The interior is super nice and cozy, and there is parking in the yard, a hot tub in the garden, location amazing, all the TV platforms that is needed. Coffee for free, and even a fireplace. This is a perfect place if you want to visit Ventspils.

Woman was nice, welcome us smoothly, showed everything. House holds 4 rooms, we had with jacuzzi, it was a pleasure to use it in the evening. Room was very clean, well design and cousy. We've got towels, hairdryer, soap, shower gel, etc., all what you need to stay for a while. Outside there is yard with some stuff also. Quiet place to stay, really enjoyed !

Very nice and quiet place for relaxing with neat landscape design. Perfect for family holidays. Don't look that it's out of the town - 10-15 minutes taxi/car riding and you're at Ventspils' beach shore. Owners are the most hospitable and friendly people as well as their looking dangerous at the first glance but factually very intelligent shepherd dog Jilla. My room had a hydromassage bath - great for relaxing after work. Very nice opportunity to have a good breakfast. 10 of 10.

Great room for a young family with small children. Multiple toys, color pencils and swings were already in the room. The child was happy and was busy entertaining himself. The room was clean, the bathroom was pretty stylish, especially mirrors around. Enjoyed a big garden in front of the house. Was nice to chill there and have a cup of coffee in the garden early in the morning. Nobody disturbed us, which was good. Recommend this lovely and calm place when you need to stay in Ventspils :)

We liked private yard (we had a lot of places to sit and spend a nice evening). It was clean.

I was traveling on a very tight budget and loved the room rate. I liked that all the rooms had very large windows that being on the top floor, I could open both windows wide. The hotel was quiet and peaceful. The shower was excellent. The room was clean as was the bedding. Was surprised at how fast and quiet the elevator was, really! Plus a pizza takeaway on the same premises and an electric mobility hire shop too. Overlooked a huge park area, everywhere in this town, a feast of ornamental flower displays, not a green space left unattended.

We booked two rooms for three nights, total price just above 200 euro. A bargain. The hotel is simple and old fashioned, almost soviet style, but quiet, comfortable enough and very well situated. Free parking just outside. My room even had a fridge as well as a kettle. Never tried the breakfast, and the pizza restaurant was closed. Four stars and no complains from me, based on price.

Breakfast was good. Coffee came from a machine that ground the beans before brewing so it was fresh. Great location within a walking distance from the historical centre of Ventspils. Good parking availability. Great pizzeria downstairs. A very good value for money.

My son, his wife and I traveled to Latvia by car from Estonia. We had reservations at this guest house. It was super. It was very clean and comfortable. It was nicely decorated and included a family room with a TV. There were several bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. A cozy bistro nearby was recommended to us but we chose to buy grocery items and fix our own breakfast since we had kitchen facilities. It was completely fenced with a remote controlled gate. It had parking inside the gated area. This was a beautiful neighborhood and we felt safe even if we didn't have a locked gate. The staff was friendly and very helpful with sightseeing tips. The price was right and we will definitely stay there again when we are fortunate enough to return. The grounds were also very well kept and pretty to look upon.

The place is great - spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable. You can find a shared kitchen downstairs (for preparing breakfast or dinner), enjoy the meal in the terrace (in the yard) or in your room. The seaside is very close. Parking is spacious, all communication with the administrator is also perfect - she welcomed us, showed the place, and introduced all the facilities.

In September of 2013 I was on a Latvia tour with two my friends. We needed a place to sleep in Ventspils. We got a room here for 3 persons. Its located a few blocks from the beach. A beautiful in 2012 completely renovated Villa we found here. The staff is really friendly, helping us getting around in this small town. Everything is new and clean, something we really liked. There is free Wi-Fi working in the room and living room. We highly recommend this.

Good-sized apartment with 3 separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen area. It's a little outside the central town in a leafy suburb next to the beach. It's also next to the Seaside Open-Air Museum that also has steam train rides, which is one of my favourite attractions in Ventspils. Had a good night's sleep, comfy beds, and very quiet area. Easy parking in the hotel territory, opening the gate with a remote control.

The style - how this old workers or rental house with some 6? apartments has been refurbished and made a very comfortable and a bit retro place for stay. They have maintained the old 2-story adjacent facilities typical to old times in the garden, have a terrace, garden house, also for guests, children playground, flowerbeds and grill area. The apartment had kitchen, living room, bedroom with a big walkin closet, tiny bathroom with toilet, all looking neat and nice. Agtha as our host was super friendly and communicated very well. Checkin was a very welcome experience. Checkout super easy. She allowed us to park in front of the building. The apartment is in a walking distance from the old city market square, a bit more to the beach and the river promenade, including the Sword brothers castle. Groceries are nearby and as the kitchen is well equipped, it’s easy to cook at home.

We loved how authentic, as well as modern at the same time the apartment was. The beds were really comfortable. You could easily find everything you needed in the kitchen. It's perfect with small kids because of the private garden outside, which includes a seasaw, swings, a trampoline (a safe one, on the ground), a sandbox, a toy kitchen and many more. There are lots of books in the hallway, as well as games such as jenga, chess etc. It was really warm and clean inside the apartment as well. The parking in the street was free and there were always places to park the car. We would stay there again👌

I fell in love with this place .clean cozy apartment. the owners thought about all the amenities to make you feel comfortable and at home. here is also a backyard where children can play.Also can relax at the tables and prepare delicious barbecue.the apartment has a good location, everything is nearby. you can be sure that you will be met at any time.

Everything. Beautifull traditional wooden house in very good state. Front and back beautifull. Staff really friendly. Room and bathroom, very clean and very spacious. Very silent at night. Good isolation. Same for the parking. Lots of space and safe. Breakfast also very tasty and more than enough. Nice restaurants at a distance of 5 minutes driving.

It is cozy, feels like visiting someones home. Lottle courtyard is beautiful, and staff is friendly and welcoming. Rooms are comfortable, rustic in a good way- like staying with a relative. Breakfast is not a buffet but cooked for you. Love it when they have pancakes. Close to all things interesting in Ventspils - accessable by foot or short drive. A quiet oasis in Ventspils.

It's a perfect little green house with tiny little cute details all around - both in the common areas and in the room. I had a beautiful and comfortable single room on the first floor also accessible for disabled people. The bed was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast in the morning was simple, but fresh and filling, and of decent variety. It's a pity that I had just one night here - would definitely come back if again in Ventspils.

Very cozy and nice place, nice hosts. It is renovated wooden house which was typical in older times in Ventspils. Basically, we enjoyed everything. The room was nice and clean, beds were comfortable. The room had wooden floor which was warm and comfortable to walk even barefoot. Also we enjoyed free tea in a room. Breakfast was very good and made like at home.

The area is peaceful. Free parking spot at the house, our room had a separate entrance, the room was spacious. Comfortable firm bed mattress, new blankets and pillows. Lovely breakfast. Exceptionally polite and helpful staff.

I liked that it was cosy, neat and clean. The owners and staff were kind and helpful. Loved getting clean towels every day. I really appreciate that clean cold and hot drinking water, microwave and play corner for kids was always available. We were allowed to use the dishes even though we were not paying for food. I loved how close the guest house is to the beach and to this huge playground called "Bērnu pilsētiņa".

It looks old, but very cozy hotel. Very clean room, nice atmosphere inside and outside, friendly and helpful stuff. Activities for the kids inside and outside. Opportunity to grill your food outside. Close by the sea. Free private parking. Very quiet place. It feels like home.

Place is simple, but stay was pleasant. They serve simple but tasty breakfast. Hotel is in old wood building that add some charm to it. Rooms aren't big, but comfortable and clean.

A beautiful, spacious two-bedroom apartment with comfortable beds and clean, nice furnishings. Behind the house is a very pleasant courtyard with seating. Free parking across the street in an open space. Right next to the center, on a quiet street. Very nice and helpful lady at the reception. We were very satisfied and if we go to Ventspils next time, we will stay here again.

Location is perfect for the city summer traveling, not far from beach and river side, city centre near by as well. Room small, cozy, Pet friendly and has parking options, though it could get quite crowded.

Location is great. Getting keys is very convenient. Place is clean, totally worth the money. There is kitchen for use of all guests- nice thing to have, if you want to have early breakfast made by yourself.

I didn't realize you can have such standard for such money. The apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated and exeptionally clean - not even a speck of dust. Very comfortable bed and lovely linen. We could treat ourselves to tea or coffee and małe us some breakfast. No problem with free parking space. Convenient check-in/out. Very responsive Hosts (and forgiving - I broke a cup ;) ) I couldn't recommend the place enough

Stayed one night with my family. In reality the apartment is even better than on the pictures posted here. The location is easy to find, the property is well kept in order, actually it was obvious that everything has been just renovated well. Garden and parking is separated from the neighbourhood by a fence, so it is safe and no random people are hanging around. We could find everything we needed in the apartment including cutlery and dishes to prepare food. I highly recommend this apartment.

Very nice location in Ventspils to stay for one night and even longer. You can find here everything you need for romantic stay. Cosy bedroom with high ceilings, good shower room, tasty coffee for free, planty of cosy places to enjoy a glass of wine with a garden view. Possible to order breakfast. Can use library. Very close to the beach and city old part. Definitely recommend.

First off, I want to mention the amazing welcome we were given by our host, who guided us into the locked parking. He then explained the facilities, and told us how to get to the beach to see the sunset - and time was limited. Our room was truly enormous with a bed the size of an entire city. Needless to say we were very comfortable. Around the buildings there is plenty of space to relax, including a covered smoking area and another separate area to take you coffee or wine with candles. There is a large shared kitchen, but also the option to pay for a breakfast. The hotel is located within an easy walk of a fantastic beach AND an easy walk into the town

As strange as it may sound, it's not about the room, it's about the people. The owner and hostess of this villa were very hospitable to us. We were treated almost like family members. They know their business and strive to ensure that ALL people feel good and everyone is satisfied. It's incredible! We have had a good communication. We were treated and provided with everything we desire. The villa itself is beautiful, clean and really comfortable. Parking for cars and bicycles on the territory of the villa. Children have a place to play both outside and inside the villa and my daughter was very happy about this! In addition to the room, the residents have the opportunity to walk around the villa and even retire or chat in any of the available rooms or outside. For residents, a whole coffee machine with really delicious coffee is allocated, as well as a whole chic kitchen with a refrigerator & dining room with huge TV. What else do you need to be satisfied? :-) I recommend to all people, especially those who are looking for peace and a pleasant stay away from the hustle and bustle of civilization, to use the services of this villa.

It was all good and very professional. The hosts were very helpful and supporting. The two floor apartment was comfortable and spacy. The house is close to a children activities park and not far away from the beach. Everything was perfect for the type of facility!

Exquisitely delightful garden (the fragrance was adoring); our room was small but it was very cozy, with the fridge and other necessary utilities. Location is great. Jānis (the host) was very welcoming. It was also nice of him to show us other rooms (the tenants left by that time). They were equally nice and had even more space than our room.

The apartment was very nice and spacious. Own entrance gave nice privacy. The bed was comfy and in the room you had everything you needed.

The apartment is located right next to the harbour, offering a great view from the window. It was spacious and had enough room to host six people (we brought our own inflatable mattresses). Right next to the apartment is an excellent pizza place (Lighthouse Pizza), and not far away there’s a small shop (Sprotins) where you can buy canned fish produced in Latvia. Around the corner, there’s a cheap café (Liedags) which doesn’t operate on weekends but is an excellent spot for large families. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was clean and nice. The children also loved that there were extra candies in the hallway every morning.

Inexpensive place to stay with all the basics. Very quiet area with beach just minute away. Everything was super clean and staff were friendly.

The hotel is close to the sea, the room was spacious and warm with a great view of the ships. The receptionist was polite and helpful.

It was convenient for me because there were no queues, free arrival and departure time. The location is convenient and the rooms are comfortable.

If you are a "breakfast person", staying in this hotel is a very good idea. Breakfast costs only €5, and I do not remember ever having been offered such gorgeous and creative meals in the morning. There are only about half a dozen options, but the two I tried were fantastic. The one minor drawback is that you need to let the hotel know in advance (i.e. on the day before) exactly when you want to have breakfast. My room was clean, spacious and quiet. There was a bit of a musty smell, though. The hairdryer in the bathroom was useful, and so was the kettle. The staff members I met were very friendly and helpful. They all spoke English - some very well, others less well. The hotel is close to the beach and the university. The distance from the coach station is about 30 minutes on foot.

Clean, comfortable, well run quirky hotel. Located in a quiet residential area. I had the budget single room, which is very small, but I expected that, given the reasonable price. Receptionists friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant is popular with locals, and the dinner and breakfast I had were good. Table reservations recommended.

I was pleasantly surprised by Juras Brize. Spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful staff who all spoke excellent English and a decent location a 10 minute walk from Ventspils' lovely Blue Flag beach. Our group included both my young son and his grandparents, all of whom enjoyed the stay. We took the family room and my parents took the studio, both of which were immaculately cleaned every day. Well worth the slightly higher rate for the extra space. The restaurant is exceptional value with good food and large portions - as the number of locals (and people staying elsewhere) who come here to eat testifies. After the high prices of Riga, the ability to feed five people, including a couple of drinks, for less than 20 lats is terriffic. The location is a couple of kilometres away from the small old town but great for families. Directly across the road is the free "Children's World" play park with slides, climbing frames etc designed for different age groups. Ideal for getting the kids tired for a good night's sleep. Within a 10 minute walk is the beach and another super park featuring a jungle trail and a miniature railway at weekends. Ventspils may not be the most obvious holiday destination but is the tidiest town in Latvia and well worth a couple of days' stay.

Our twin room was actually one big bed with a couch. Lighting was good, wifi was excellent and the shower was great. The room was quiet for sleeping and the bed and pillows were comfortable. No blackout shades, however. The breakfast omelet was nicely made. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was quite good, too. It is very popular, so make a reservation.

This place is suitable only during summer time and in a sunny or cloudy but no rainny day. The zoo is in the suburbs of the town Ventspilis. The see is really far away and it's imposible to walk to the see. You will always have to drive. It's most suutable for overnight. There's a place for the grill it's good. The WC and shower was in a separate building but it wasquite clean. There was hot water. But we were lucky to have a wonderful weather so no problem. Our cottage was far away from the animals so no smell has been felt. The othe areas are so lucky.

Good to stay there for 1 night, cheap price. Stayed in tiny houses, rooms were somewhat clean maybe a bit dusty here and there but survived. Plenty of activities to do there; they had a mini zoo, a playground and you could also play volleyball there. Small house came with a fireplace and a small grill.

This is the closest as you can be to experience Latvian nature without going to the woods. The host was friendly and helpful. There were animals from all over the world in petting zoo. Very cute 😍 The next best thing to be in the tent. It's eco tourism, glamping the old fashion way 🙂

This is a very cosy hotel right in the Old Town. The room was clean and nice, although not very spacious, but was enough for a couple. Also the bed was very comfortable. The lady who checked us in and prepared a very tasty breakfast was very nice and gave us some tips for sightseeing. We are very happy with the hotel and will definitely be back.

VILLA FLORANCE apartments were close to the Ventspils blue flag beach (Zilā karoga pludmale) - about 10 minutes by foot and not far from some bars and restaurants. Little grocery shop "Citro minimarket" can also be reached by foot. Very quiet in night time. Beds were comfortable enough. There was also big fitted kitchen (common with the guest room) with the big fridge and outdoors terrace. Receiving of the room key - contactless. The main door code and safety key box code will be sent to you on the day of arrival.

Great location. Very close to the water park, beach, cafe, adventure park. The apartment is comfortable for up to 5 people. The beds are large. Enough towels and bed linen. Very convenient communication with the owner of the apartment. For a 3-day stay, there was a clothes dryer missing in the apartment. It might have been more convenient if there had been a small vacuum cleaner. The mattresses on the bed and pillows could also have been more comfortable. This is a recommendation. Overnight stay for 2 couples. The place was very clean and nice. Good location, short walk from seaside, quiet house, everything you need for comfy stay. Easy to check in. Small dislikes - one of the bed was so loud that it was impossible to move without making any sounds, and maybe some toileties like shower gel would be nice. Overall, I recommend it much.
