Absolutely amazing property! Very beautiful and comfortable! We had a room with jacuzzi and beautiful view to the lake. Really enjoyed our time there. Perfect for romantic get away!

We chose this lovely boutique hotel for beautifully decorated rooms, sitting areas, deck and fabulous view and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We checked in super late and were only able to confirm our reservation the day of our arrival due to being at mountain Refugios but Mary was incredibly accommodating, friendly and helpful in communicating with us and welcoming us after 10 pm! The hotel offers an open area with gorgeous windows, a modern cabin feel, cozy fireplace and comfy furniture that you can sink into. Breakfast was varied, classy and super tasting offering, eggs, bacon, croissants, little pastries, delicious yogurt and homemade granola as well and fresh juice, cereals, coffee/tea and fruit.

It was nice as expected, terrace with a great view, good shower, room view is amazing.

We loved the rustic, cosy feel of the hotel - lots of common areas to sit and relax in. The location was also great with a few restaurants/bars in walking distance. We stayed in a room with a spa bath which had a beautiful view.

Kind staff, stunning views. The perfect place in La Angostura. Close to the major hikes/excursions in the area. Very accommodating. Covers the essentials, too: fast WiFi, clean, etc. Recommended for both Americans and Argentinians.

The location and the view is excellent.. the building is new and cozy.. the people in charge very nice and sweet. Natali helped us a lot!! Our shower was not working well and she changed us to a better room 🙌🏽

I stay at the El Faro hotel every time I come to Villa La Angostura, which I have done twice a year for the past several years. I’m never disappointed. The hotel is beautiful, the views are incredible, the staff is very attentive, and the breakfast buffet is memorable. I stay at a room with fireplace and they leave the wood ready for me to strike a match and get it going. I can also watch sunsets from the jacuzzi. I couldn’t ask for more.

Service was excellent. Especially Fernanda at the front desk, whose persistence paid off in tracking down my phone (lost in Vila Angoustura). Facilities are lovely, best of all is the quiet and beautiful lakeside location. Room was very nice, with a great view. Breakfast was great. Only slight flaw - cleanliness and attention to detail was sometimes a little lacking. The otherwise beautiful jacuzzi in our room was a bit dirty. And the pool looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Still overall I’d recommend it.

Fantastic location overlooking the lake and mountains, llovely interior and room, good breakfast, staff excellent. Awkward ( but very picturesque) access along steep very winding drive proved less problematic than we first thought, bearing in mind that the hotel had no restaurant, and was 3 km from the town. Minor fault - the fan in the jacuzzi didn’t work.

Our stay at El Faro was truly exceptional. As frequent travelers, we can confidently say this hotel ranks among the best we’ve experienced. The location is simply unmatched—you could spend all day and night admiring the breathtaking views. The rooms are incredibly spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom that includes a luxurious soaking tub offering stunning scenery. The sauna and hot tub provided the perfect way to unwind, but the highlight was the heated pool overlooking the lake. We have fond memories of swimming there, basking in the sun, and taking in the serene surroundings. The staff were warm, attentive, and always eager to help. They arranged a fantastic horseback riding excursion for us with a local farm and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless. A special mention to the front desk team, who made every effort to return a valuable hat I had left behind—a small but meaningful gesture that truly reflected their outstanding hospitality. El Faro is a place we will cherish and hope to return to in the future!

The hotel is perfectly situated for amazing lake views. The staff is friendly, breakfast was very tasty, and the rooms are comfy and cozy. The reason it's not a 5-star review is (1) they failed to service our room one of the three days we were there and (2) there were some condition issues of the hotel grounds - the hot tub was questionable at best and the dock on the lake was dangerously weathered. Despite that, I would recommend.

We booked very last minute and everything was perfect for us when we arrived. Check in was very easy, the bed was very comfy, and the breakfast was exceptional in the morning with the view overlooking the lake. The hosts were very friendly.

The place is amazing, the view is marvelous, the bed is so confortable, the shower is perfect. Ana, the owner, is so approachable and kind. On top of everything, breakfast was fabulous. 10 out of 10.

Ana was so helpful. The place is so tranquil, it's just beautiful. And the service from Ana is incredible. The breakfast coming to the terraces and overlooking the lake was really really special. A very unique and special place. It was very clean, very welcoming and felt great.

This place is absolutely fantastic! The room has been furnished with great love and detail. The bed is very big and comfortable. Perfect shower. Good breakfast! Great place to stay.

Beautiful rooms in a great location, with a fantastic view. The host was pleasant and helpful. Nice lawn chairs, gazebo, open yard space, and a deck for the room. Big bathroom. There was work happening at the property when we checked in and the noise was a little irritating, but it was made up for by the very polite host who was very apologetic. Breakfast was 10/10, best of our trip.

It was great. I arrived very tired. The room was quiet, impeccably clean, warm and comfortable. I slept great. Excellent coffee for breakfast too.
