Great hotel with superb breakfast! We stayed one night with two kids. The room was very spacious (even with the additional bed). It had a big shower and a separate toilet. Only minor negative was that the window opened to the restaurant room. However, the ventilation was goot with the AC. At checkin I was offered a bag of freshly ground coffee which I prepared in the pour over in the room the next morning. The result was a great coffee - which left me wondering how this standard could be met at the breakfast. Little did I know, what awaited us downstairs. I have been to a number of very good hotels but this breakfast exceeded most of them. From a variety of seeds, homemade granola, banana bread, wortel tart (carrot cake), pancakes, overnight oats, yogurt (also vegan coconut), to all kinds of eggs, shakchuka, hummus, avocado and a lot more there was everything we desired. Also drinks were plentiful: great coffee, herbal teas, fresh juices, ginger shots… As you can see: a great hotel with even better breakfast!

A lovely few days staying at the Cityhotel Wood in Middelburg. Large rooms, hotel very clean throughout with fresh and modern interior decoration. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Visited with a large group. Enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant on the first night. Breakfast was varied, fresh and delicious. Located very close to the city centre. Also close to canal and windmills, worth a walk. Would highly recommend.

First time visit in this hotel. Sayer four nights. Very nice and modern style. Got a free welcome beer at checkin as well. The room was fresh and clean and very comfortable. Extra plus for the fridge to store your own food or drinks. Bed was very comfortable and the area was silent during the evening and the night. Breakfast area was very fresh and nice. Food selection was good with different types of hot food and different types of bread. Also different fruits every day. The only downside was that you could only get one type of yoghurt (coconut). Parking outside by the street was limited to 2 hours before 6 PM or after 8 AM. Quite normal in Middelburg according to my experience. All in all a good experience and I will probably stay here again.

Smart hotel with lovely staff and an easy walk to the town centre. The bar dining area is really nice and the breakfast was very good with multiple choices. Room 110 was clean , quiet and very well presented with a fridge & safe but no coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

Excellent one night rest stop on a cycling tour of the area. Room was large, like a small suite, very clean and great shower. Buffet breakfast was one of the best. Friendly staff and great location. Covered secure bike storage too under the hotel. Can't fault it.

Very new hotel, everything super clean, staff very professional, decor is amazing both in the reception area and restaurant as well as in the room, just 15 steps from the see, amazing view, complete and delicious breakfast, i would always come back, this hotel is a gem.

Beautiful location and a fabulous lake view room made for a perfect getaway. We stayed 2 nights and would love to return to this awesome hotel. The service in the restaurant could improve as very slow service. The online booking for the restaurant does not seem to be noted on arrival and first come first served instead.

Nice location, beautiful surroundings and nice, new hotel… The breakfast was well stocked… The bed was a bit soft and lumpy in our double bed room… I would suggest going with a queen size bed instead. Also, it’s weird that they have a coffee machine in the rooms but don’t provide one free water bottle for a stay of 2 nights… strange. Otherwise, it was fun!

We really enjoyed our stay in this friendly Zealand hotel. The room was comfortable and cool despite the hot summer weather. And the breakfast was truly exceptional with a stunning selection of cereals, fruit and bread. It was also easy to find a parking place nearby. And the location was perfect for bike trips, just a few km from the gorgeous Zealand beaches.

The staff are very friendly and warm. The family room we stayed is quite large and clean. Seafood dinner is excellent. Their breakfast is by far the best I ever had in a hotel.

Super clean. Room cleaned and fresh sheets and towels each day even though it was low-season. Very clear communication. Friendly. Nice base to visit nearby towns or nature places.

What a delightful place to stay, very welcoming and helpful with everything we needed. A lovely peaceful setting near a few small villages and close to the sea. Breakfast was excellent and set up in a special building with lovely glass windows and a view to the garden. We definitely recommend this as a beautiful quiet place to stay with excellent staff.

A charming building with a lot of character. Easy to find and easy to park. We had one of the studios at the back – very pleasant. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly. The vast sandy beach is walking distance away.

Ach - Wunderschöne "Villa Magnolia" mit herzlichem Besitzer & Team - wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt! Das Frühstück war hervorragend nicht nur wegen der Frische, sondern auch durch die Vielfalt an zusätzlichen nicht-Standardprodukten. Mit Tipps für die Umgebung (Märkte, Restaurants etc.) wurden wir bestens versorgt. Alles in allem wunderschön auch durch die ruhige Lage in Wald- und Strandnähe die zu Spaziergängen einlädt.

Wonderful charming mansion with lots of character and atmosphere. Fantastic garden surrounded by nature. Lovely big terrace with comfy sofas to relax. Self-service bar in the afternoon and evening. Delicious breakfast and very friendly owner and staff. Thank you so much for a wonderful few days!

Lovely, well maintained house and gardens in a private and quiet area and a spacious family room.. The breakfast was varied and a self service bar was available throughout the day as no staff are on hand in the evening. We rented bikes which were waiting for us on arrival.

Good value for money, tasty breakfast, friendly staff, great for our dog, too. Not for people who want five star super modern luxury - but full of character and charm!

We loved our stay in this hotel as it has a lot of character, safe space for our bicycles and nature surrounding which is not made up from a marketing designer. If you are up for a fancy hotel or a person who likes to stay in one of the chains you might not want it. if you like to be in a hotel which has got a big room, a personal conversation, a lovely breakfast without 25 different types of bread and 12 different branded mueslis but just a good European breakfast and a good sleep on a comfortable bed this is the place to go. Nothing for high heels and show off.

Very friendly family oriented stuff. They made us all feel very at home including our small dog! Lovely breakfast, even helped us with our laundry! Very relaxing stay! Close to the local town and walking trails out the back. A Very relaxing getaway

The hotel is in close proximity to the beach, they had a great breakfast buffet, a good restaurant and the staff was very friendly. We had a great time and can only recommend the Fletcher hotel. We are looking forward to come back some time soon.

very nice hotel in very convenient location - just a few steps from the beach. Hotel has a bit of an 80's /90's style, this made me feel at home straight away. Good breakfast with nice buns, eggs, bacon, juice and coffee. When weather is nice, it is lovely to sit outside in front of the hotel.

The room key is a punch card! The bathroom was clean but outdated. Breakfast was very good. The swimming pool is good and open all year long.

Recently renovated hotel with beautiful, modern furnishings inside. The location is excellent, close to both the train station as well as the town centre, with everything within walking distance. The staff was kind, friendly and helpful throughout, and most of all we could enjoy a quiet night's sleep even with a full hotel! One particularly nice touch was the fully-furnished kitchenette as part of the room, including every amenity from oven to sink and dishwasher, which made our stay much more pleasant and stress-free. Our room was situated on the ground floor, with entrance from the small private courtyard which even had a separate entrance. This was very convenient, private and cosy with the outside seating area, perhaps even a social meeting spot with weather permitting. Overall, would definitely recommend!

I liked that the hotel is very close to the station and also within walking distance of lots of cafes, shops and restaurants. The hotel is gorgeous! So well furnished and spacious. The bed was comfortable, I LOVED the shower, it was so clean, and great WiFi! Check in and out also super handy.

Overall: A Very Good Experience! I will certainly return if I ever find myself in Middelburg again. For instance, I left my toiletries bag behind, and they promptly informed me. Though I was already far away, they efficiently helped me arrange for it to be sent to my home. Super little hotel for great price. Absolutely super location at a stone’s throw from the station and in the city centre. Bijoux but complete room - clean and had all mod cons although the light switches took some working out, but that us all part of the fun. Nice toiletries and great in-room coffee and tea. A lovely bakery opposite sorts you out with great rolls and boluses. Comfortable and very quiet. Eclectic maybe not so much.

Everything about this place exceeded my expectations. The location is absolutely perfect—close to everything yet peaceful enough for a relaxing stay. The design is simply beautiful, with every detail carefully thought out to create a stylish and comfortable atmosphere. Plus, the daily cleaning service keeps everything spotless, adding to the overall comfort. Highly recommended!

Great location as acces to the beach is only 20 min by foot. Wellness home for 2 is fun. Jacuzzi and sauna are perfect.

Lovely environnement. The appartments were well equipped with style and very comfortable. There were outside activities for kids, nice playgrounds, in and outdoor swimming pools. Possibility to rent bikes as well.

very nice location, quiet surrounding. It was raining and we could enjoy the rain sounds in the evening. The owner was very friendly and present. Clean room and definitely more time needed to enjoy the sauna and jacuzzi. I highly recommended.

Location was very good, right next to the waterfront and inbetween many other beautiful houses. The rooms and interior were nice as expected. Chimney, couch, bed, sauna and shower made our stay very cozy and relaxed. Annabel's husband welcomed us warmly and Annabel reacted to messages right away.

It's a very nice place, latelly refurbished, stylishm with a beautiful view. And the see is just accross the street.

Beautiful location! In the room was a book with photos which gives you an nice inside look on the renovations. The view from the hottub is magical, especially during the evening. Rooms are clean and beds are good. Small refrigerator with some supplies such as coffee and other local beverages were very helpful since we arrived in the evening. The owners are generous, kind and answers questions quickly via message on booking and respected our privacy. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a special accomodation during their stay in Middelburg.

A lovely, quiet location, close to the centre of the old part of Middelburg. Our room was spacious, clean and comfy. The breakfast that we took in our room was generous and tasty. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. They are obviously proud of the conversion of the old church, and rightly so!

An amazing building a converted church with garden.The room is spacious with comfortable bed, Flatscreen digital TV with variety of entertainment services. There is a fridge stocked with a variety of complementary items. There is outside space a small patio and chairs overlooking the garden. The location is in a quiet street just outside the town centre which is a short walk away. Parking is available at the property. The hosts were friendly a welcoming. I will definitely plan to stay here again when I next visit

Gorgeous converted church, cute garden and terrace. Our host was super lovely, nice to hear about the renovation and see pictures in a book left in the room. The breakfast items left for us were helpful and thoughtful. A short walk into Middelburg and space to park the car was a big plus too.

the room was large, the location good (<10 minutes walk to the town & restaurants), the owner's were super friendly & helpful, free parking space in the lane. proper size supermarket nearby.

The chalet was in a private park close to walking trail, fish pond and very nice restaurant. The interior was so modern and clean and well appointed with full kitchen area, living room area and even patio with table and chairs. Our host and hostess were very patient and kind..

It's the perfect tiny house, with still plenty of space for our family of 4 to stay very comfortably. We'd stay here again if we should ever find ourselves back in the area.

A wow factor as soon as you enter. the soft furnishings were lovely. The finishing touch details were to perfection. The room was immaculate, quiet, comfortable and equipped with all you should need. Rooms upstairs and down, should you struggle with stairs. The breakfast was superb, with that little extra touch. Parking not a problem. A quaint village with a restaurant nearby for evening meals. Terneuzen close by also. The hosts spoke perfect English (Thank you)! very welcoming. Will be returning.

This is an exceptional hotel in a former church which has been transformed by the owners in a perfect hotel. It is very stylish and you can feel that the owners live their dream. Rooms are very nice integrated into the architecture of the church and offer all comfort. Breakfast is delicious and once again you can feel the passion of the owners as all is prepared and served in a unique way. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Amazing location close to the beach! Perfect for a getaway with everything you need within walking distance! The rooms are tidy, modern and comfortable, although it can be a bit noisy if there are multiple guests.

The beach-view room with a spacious balcony offered stunning ocean views and was modern and well-designed. The location is unbeatable, with direct beach access just steps away. Breakfast was delicious, and although I didn’t try all the amenities, they were great. The underground parking with easy access made arrival hassle-free. This hotel exceeded my expectations and is totally worth a visit for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Amazing seaview and tastefully decorated room, spacious, comfortable and clean. Helpful staff at reception. Wellness area nice and with refreshments provided. Good breakfast (except coffee, for the price there should be a barista rather than just an average coffee machine). Easy parking outside or in a nice and spacious garage.

The hotel is perfectly located being right on the beach. We really enjoyed having views of the beach and sea from the restaurant, bar, breakfast room, and bedroom. The staff were always very helpful and contributed to a wonderful experience.

very good quality hotel. excellent adult spa area (kids can be noisy in pool but go through the secret adult area and its a nice quiet relaxing wellness area, shame there is not a small pool through there). breakfast pretty good but more outside seating would be good only about 6 tables and they could make bigger area easily. No real dinner options unless you want expensive meal in restaurant but plenty of local option. rooms very comfortable and excellent bathrooms.

Cozy and welcoming atmosphere in a charming, family-owned property with a lovely history. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make my partner’s birthday extra special, both in the room and at the restaurant – such a thoughtful touch! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with great facilities. We enjoyed relaxing in the sauna and the swimming pool. This is a wonderful hotel. The staff are all really lovely, smiling and helpful, this includes the owner who comes around and chats to the guests. We stayed 4 nights, in the tower room which is spectacular. We had dinner 3 times, really first class food. Breakfast food is great. The spa and pool are very high quality too. The location by the the sand dunes and beach is very nice

Loved the decor and the attention to detail. Communal areas were beautiful, smelt lovely, and very welcoming. The spa and pool were stunning, excellent location next to the beach, and only a short drive from knokke. Great sized balcony for sunbathing and relaxing.

Breakfast had a lot of variety. The food was fresh and delicious, The hotel building, reception and the rooms were new. They were very clean and well-maintained, The rooms also have nice balconies and airco. You can have your breakfast outside with a nice view. We liked the hotel very much. Everyone was so nice and willing to help with any question or problem. The building and the entire facility is disabled friendly. We recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Zeeland/Vrouwenpolder Beach.

Wij verbleven in een suite op de bovenste etage. Suite is mooi ingericht en we hadden heel fijn uitzicht op golfbaan. Ook erg plezierig was de badkamer met jacuzzi en sauna, waar we dan ook fijn gebruik van hebben gemaakt. Personeel erg vriendelijk en overal uitstekende Corona maatregelen.

Large beautiful hotel. The rooms are very spacious and quiet. Perfect beds. Everything is very clean. Beautiful hall at the entrance with a lot of candles and waterfall. Perfect breakfast and restaurant. Great SPA area. Very helpful and attentive staff both at the reception and in the restaurant. Overall, our family was positively impressed by this hotel and we highly recommend it.

The spa was amazing, complete zen, beautifully designed, amazing offering with sauna, steam rooms and ice rooms. Extension with bar and terrace was amazing, restaurant had great food and drink selections. Rooms were stunning and super comfy beds.

The love to detail in the interior, a spaceous room that was not only spotless and absolutely clean came with such a great view, made my stay just as enjoyable as possible. Plus: the amazing, also very spaceous bathroom incl bath tub! :) From the moment I booked the stay, super friendly and fast support from the Boulevard 17 Team! Great choices in the breakfast buffet, and I also recommend visiting the restaurant besides the breakfast, great service and amazing quality in food and drinks! I cannot wait to come back one day :)

The friendly staff provided us with all the necessary information. The hotel is very well located on the beach and a few minutes walk from the city center. For people who love a real hotel atmosphere, with a beautiful reception, a lobby with lounges to relax, here it does not really exist. The reception is in the restaurant opposite, which is part of the property. The building is more of a residence. The rooms are quite spacious, a nice modern bathroom, but our junior suite didn't have a table or desk and no chair (!) , just a small sofa with a small coffee table. The breakfast was good, with enough choice of hot and cold dishes, but not exceptional. On our demand, the parking allowance in the street along the hotel was organized in advance by the friendly stuff at the reception and had to be payed separately, there was no parking problem in the area, but we were not there in high season. It was e nice trip in a good hotel.
