The hotel structure is very nice, it has comfortable rooms freshly renovated. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Very clean. There is a lovely swimming pool. It is located in a very quite place, excellent for relaxing.

The house is right on the Danube river bank and close to all the main sights. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a nice small spa and outside pool.

I liked everything very much, hospitable, polite, clean, tasty and very comfortable beds. Thank you, I recommend it and will definitely come back again.

The location is a bit out of town but it was really peaceful and lovely. It was also a good location for visiting other "sights" such as Ovčara and Dodik. Slađana the owner is an absolute jewel and so welcoming and kind. Everything was perfect for me at Villa Biser Dunava.

The owner was very nice and helpful. The room had a tea/coffee corner and a nice balcony to relax after a long drive. The breakfast was delicious - with fried eggs, fresh fruit and great coffee. The dinning room is very nicely decorated and the whole place is full of books in various languages. There is also a private car park at the back.

The owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with. There was no fuss in ordering a vegan breakfast (got everything I wanted) and the "normal" breakfast was very generous. The cats around the house contributed to the domestic atmosphere (the cats are obviously well-tended, healthy, and friendly). In short, comfy cozy atmosphere.

Very welcoming owners, very convenient location (close to the centre and to the historical sites), very good breakfast, big private parking, clean and quiet.

Wonderful, friendly staff, a tasty breakfast, and such a charming atmosphere! The many little touches, like family photos, make it feel like the hotel carries warmth and history through generations. It is a great place with great history and it is worth checking in here.

The hotel in this village is only 5 minutes from the highway. It is very quiet. A lot of parking. We had a trailer with our motorbikes which we left there for a few days, no problem at all. When we returned, we could clean our motorbikes. The owner has also a motorbike.;) The rooms a completly new. Very comfortable beds. A very rich local breakfirst. The steaks we had for dinner were perfect, high quality of meat. The owner is very ambitions to reach a very good quality in everything.

The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a good nights sleep.The ample breakfast was served in the outdoor courtyard, by some lovely ladies. We only overnighter here en-route from Bulgaria to the UK, but from our experience we would highly recommend this establishment for one or more nights stay.

A cozy, "oldish" hotel in the centre of Vinkovci. Next to it there is a (pretty secure) parking lot (which includes an EV charging station). Staff was absolutely cordial and helpful, everything worked without any issues. Many shopping stores as well as bars and restaurants around, reachable by foot.

I liked the staff! Friendly, attentive, helpful, responsive. I was pleasantly surprised to learn Hotel Slavonija has it's archeological claim to fame. If you're curious you can investigate it's history.

Comfy rooms and very helpful staff. Excellent location near the main square and river. About 15 minutes walk from the station: just go straight ahead when you come out.

We had a lovely stay that was perfect for our family. The mid-size room was clean, comfortable, and the bed was especially cozy. While the space wasn’t huge, it was well-designed and met all our needs. The breakfast was a highlight – delicious and with plenty of variety to start the day right. Hotel is nicely set up around a court yard. We had a very spacious four person room with comfortable beds and appreciated the AC as it was very warm. Enjoyed a good dinner and breakfast in the restaurant.

The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we entered the main door. They gave us tips on places to see, where to exchange money, buy kulen, which vineyards to visit. The room itself was fine, though the shower could have been a little larger. The breakfast, brought to the table, was generous, though a little short on vegetable matter. However, this was more than compensated for by the establishment's own home-made jam, which was being made in the courtyard as we arrived and was still being produced on the day before we left. The heady aroma of slow-cooking plums thus greeted us on our way to and from our room. We had supper at the Rooms twice, and on each occasion were satisfied... though the omnipresent mashed potato could have been varied a little more. The draught wine from a local maker was the best table plonk I've enjoyed for some time and an excellent accompaniment to the meals.

The restaurant is excellent, we had a great dinner, the portions were large and tasty. The inner courtyard looks very pleasant, there are a lot of flowers. We traveled by bicycle, and the facility provides bike rack. Ilok is a very nice town, and this villa is perfect choice to stay when traveling by bicycle.

We were satisfied with the place, we asked and got a room with separate beds, the wifi and the air conditioning were excellent. We drank good wine in the restaurant, and we enjoyed the breakfast.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful both in terms of giving us time and information and generous touches such as complimentary sweet and savoury local pastries. We appreciated being in a friendly family run guesthouse. It was much nicer than an anonymous big hotel.

This hotel has got some terrible reviews on this site but I thought it was great. The staff were incredibly helpful, it’s fantastically located near the banks of the Danube in a town steeped in controversial history. The breakfast was good. My room was a little funky in the way it was laid out but it was clean and had good AC.

Very friendly and welcomed our dogs. Very quiet at this time of year except for a family of unruly children running up and down the corridor disturbing us. But, that was no fault of the hotel!

This was my 2nd stay at the hotel Lav. It's a great hotel in great spot, right on the river. Friendly staff and great value for money.

The hotel is right in the center of Vukovar. You can walk downtown very easily. It has a private parking, very usefull. Rooms big and spacious, they are very clean.

A little bit old fashioned and basic, but in a nice way, at least if one is old enough to appreciate it. Very friendly and cooperative host. Location is good, almost no distance to the military and war museum and maybe 15 minutes walking distance to the Vukovar water tower (both certainly worth a visit).

The apartment was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, cool thanks to the air conditioner, and very comfortable for my husband and I, and my mother to stay for a week. Two big balconies to enjoy coffee and wine on, a big beautiful yard and a lovely outdoor cooking area that we didn't end up using because it was just too hot outside.

Very nice and clean apartament. Lots of space. Quiet surroundings and charming garden (with a friendly cat). We've spent only one night in Vukovar, but definitely the apartament would be perfect for a longer stay.
