I recently had the pleasure of staying at Maenan Abbey Hotel and was absolutely blown away by the experience. The location is truly stunning, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Welsh countryside. The hotel itself is rich in period features, giving it a charming and authentic feel. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly, helpful, and pleasant host, who made sure every aspect of my stay was perfect. The room was huge, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. It was incredibly quiet, ensuring I had a great night's sleep on the most comfortable bed. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the food. I enjoyed a 5-star meal that was expertly prepared, followed by a freshly cooked-to-order breakfast the next morning. The breakfast was cooked to perfection, with a generous supply of traditional items that left me feeling thoroughly satisfied. The bathroom was luxurious, featuring a very powerful shower that was a delight to use. Ample parking was available, making my stay even more convenient. Though I originally came to the area for business, I am already planning to return with my family for a holiday. Maenan Abbey Hotel is a hidden gem, and I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Beds were very comfortable. Free bottled water helped! Breakfast was fantastic. Onsite parking. Local supermarket. Nina (General Manager) is a lovely person and made us feel like family. Same can be said for the kind lady who served us breakfast. Lovely family feel restaurant, clean, comfortable and excellent value for money. Enjoy your stay!

Staff was welcoming and friendly. Room was small but cosy bed was comfortable all very clean. Had dinner in the bar was small but just the right amount. Breakfast was tasty

If you're booking to travel with children, this is NOT for you. The family room we stayed in is directly above the main bar area. We could hear the conversations downstairs and it us difficult for children to fall asleep when it quiets down only after 11pm. There're rooms further away from the central part of the building but they are standard rooms. Putting family rooms right above the bar is bad design right from the start. The first evening we had dinner in the restaurant but many dishes were unavailable. The shower in the room broke and water splashed out at the tap whilst the shower was turned on. Told front desk and it was fixed whilst we were out in the day. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Shame its not all what we had hoped for.

This property had the potential to be excellent but minor detail such as shower floor not closing properly and shower rail and loo roll holder loose. Ordered Lamb steak but had to send back as inedible, lady in restaurant was very good and I went for the Steak & Ale Pue instead, which was excellent. Bar staff not very attentive, two lots of customers in restaurant took glasses back to bar on way out and offered their thanks but weren’t acknowledged. On the positive side good location, choice of ales and comfy bed.

Great stay at this gastro-pub with rooms. Room was modern, quiet, comfortable and clean. Had lunch and breakfast at the pub and both were GREAT. Staff were really helpful and pleasant, Paula in particular. Free parking and bus stops to Wrexham and Llangollen 50yds from hotel so very convenient for either. One note of caution if you pack heavily - I don’t think there’s an elevator. All in all a terrific stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

The park is well-maintained, featuring clean, spacious lodges and caravans, perfect for a comfortable stay. Its location is ideal, just a short walk from the beach and local amenities. The on-site facilities, including a heated pool, entertainment, and play areas, ensure there’s always something fun to do. Staff are friendly and accommodating, especially Dee, who was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore the area, Marine Holiday Park provides a memorable and enjoyable experience for families and couples alike.

Absolute bargain price for a 7 night stay, in a fabulous clean cosy caravan (ah caravan holidays, the original glamping for fraction of the price of these pretentious "shepherd huts" you get these days). Flowing with central heating inside, plus an electric fire, full working kitchenette and fresh clean linen. The park attracts a certain demographic, but I didn't mind that as we were fortunate not to have anybody in the caravans next to us, so it was very quiet. At the time of our visit (second week of April 2025), Rhyl was undergoing repairs so we couldn't visit the beach there. But we were using our stay as a base point in North Wales to visit Llandudno, Llangollen, Anglesey, Snowdonia and Portmeirion.

I would like to let everybody know who would be looking to book at Marine that myself and my partner and friends who stated would give this a 10/10. The caravan was exceptional. It was well kept along with being beautiful inside and out. Along with being romantic being able to sit out on the balcony. The beds were comfortable along with the Caravan being clean and well kept. Thanks to Kieran the Caravan owner. His service was also exceptional along with making the process nice and simple with keeping in constant communication when needed. A 10/10 for the owner as well as the site it self.

Lovely location, with beautiful view of Snowdonia and close to other tourist attractions and towns. Spacious parking facility. Well decorated hotel, with nice little touches throughout. Welcoming bar, lounge and outdoor seating areas. Owners are very affable and the place is family friendly. English breakfast and evening dinner were very tasty. We stayed in the suite, and our son was thrilled as he had his own bedroom.

The last weekend we visited North Wales/Snowdonia/ Dolwyddelan.Our accomodation base was Elen's Castle Hotel. From where we set off to the Mouteins to Snowdon and the Waterfall Pistyll Rhaeadr. Elen's Castle Hotel is a family business with a long tradition.On site we met very nice and hospitable owners. We had 3 rooms and bath room.The rooms were very clean and cozy. The breakfast was very delicious. The coffee was excellent. The hotel is located on the main road A470 in a beautifull valley with wonderful views of the Mouteins,the River and Castle ruin. A beautifull place worth visiting.

We loved the location very quiet and peaceful. Very welcoming and friendly The views are outstanding. The food was amazing Breakfast was included Well worth a visit.

The family room. Actually three rooms, with a shared shower room. Very comfortable and quiet. Great shower. Nice breakfast and meal. Great service. Cosy bar. Overnight car charging too, for a small fee. Easy parking and good location for south and north Snowdonia.

What a great find, the hotel and staff were excellent.Everyone made you feel so welcome and valued , our room ( no 4) was great, nice big comfy bed with a great choice of teas and coffee and bottled water. The added bonus of the spa facilities was also great and the pool , jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were more than welcoming after a long drive and days work. The restaurant and bar are also good , the food was delicious!. We were initially booked for one night and enquired about extending for another night, initially our room was booked for the next day but after half an hour we got a call to say they could accommodate us, what great service. We will definitely return on our next trip to Wales , Thank you to all the team

I feel so lucky to have found this Gem. I enjoyed it so much I even booked on another night. Me and my 6 year old son had the most amazing weekend. The facilities are fantastic. Swimming pool, park, sauna, spa, gym and hot tub! Elizabeth, Rachael and Reagan were absolutely fantastic. They went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable. We even got a private show of how they milk the cows! Which made my little boys day. I didn’t want to leave, it was pure paradise. We ate at the hotel at every given opportunity. The food was amazing. One of the best meals I have ever tasted was the pan fried chicken. Now you might think this sounds boring. But it was out of this world tasty. The rooms were huge, with a lovely modern shower and toilet. Very clean, warm and cosy. We both felt very much at home and if we could have moved in. We would! Thanks again to Elizabeth, Rachael and Reagan. We look forward to our next visit.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they notified me straight away when I left my washbag and even offered to post it back to me for a small fee (fortunately i was still in the area) The room was clean and tidy and very comfortable. When hotels leave water in the room this is always a big bonus for me and the litre bottle of local spring water was well received, as was the box of Welsh short bread (Yes an actual box, I couldn’t believe it) they even left an individual bottle of hand sanitiser. The restaurant food was also stunning, I had the pork cheeks which I highly recommend. If I'm in the area again I will definitely re-book

We booked here last minute and was not disappointed, we were looking for a venue with a pool&spa, really good standard clean, staff helpful and friendly. And tbh we stayed the following night at the cliffs hotel in cardigan and we found the facilities far superior at your beautiful guest house in st clears. Had a really interesting chat with the owner and looked at the renovation photography for such a beautiful old building. 5 stars 🌟 guys amazing 👏 job

A lovely long weekend spent in Llety Cynin. A truly warm Welsh welcome. Every aspect was pleasing, and the staff went out of their way to help. Room was superbly clean, comfortable and uniqely decorated. A lovely, if wet walk along the valley, clearly signposted. The breakfast was superb - tasty local produce! And the pool and facilities were a wlcome bonus. We look forward to returning

What a lovely place quiet, leafy & green, it was a last minute booking and I have to say it was a great choice. Sunnyvale is family & solo friendly, a great place to getaway to. The park spotless as was the caravan. It was very comfortable especially the bed and the kitchen had everything I needed. The staff were really nice & friendly. Being outside of Saundersfoot it was a very pleasant 30 minute stroll down the green lane directly to the beach. A taxi back is my recommendation £6:50) as it's up hill

Very clean and comfortable caravan and grounds couldn’t fault nothing except the weather but didn’t care about it much. The food was awesome better than homemade. Everyone was friendly and welcoming nothing was too much trouble. The caravan was very clean and the beds were made up too and very warm. Would highly recommend caravan number 7 that’s what we stayed in. Overall one very happy couple and dog 😀

The mobile home was modern and very clean. Super value for money. Situated in a lovely area, close to beaches and Tenby. Our children loved the kids club and bingo in the bar every evening. Staff were fantastic. Pool was lovely. Site was quiet and relaxing.

Beautiful lodge ,pet friendly but so clean and smelt lovely, complimentary bottle of bubbles , with tea/coffee/sugar etc left for you. Hot tub checked every day. Beds made up too. Staff on this park are so lovely, helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was delicious we had afternoon tea (huge) and Sunday lunch ! Other guests/owners were so friendly. Views are spectacular. Facilities are good , outdoor pool and small park for the little ones , I will say this is not like Butlins , it's a small park but my daughter is older and she loved it, it was quiet no rowdy families gorgeous to sit out in an evening and watch the sunset. Small area to walk the dog. Perfect location for exploring Barmouth literally 5 minutes in the car . Other Lovely dog friendly beaches within a 15 minute drive. This was such a perfect location for our weekend away, we will definitely be returning.

Nice quiet family site no kids entertainment or even music but has a lovely restaurant with a terrace overlooking pool and sea view. Very dog friendly. must book in advance for restaurant! You can access sunny sands arcades and entertainment for free and only down the road.Our caravan had a lovely view but no patio area like some of the others. Pool is heated. Very clean. Staff are lovely and friendly this is the 2nd time we have stayed here and we would stay again its just very expensive we paid £950 for 5 nights in a silver caravan if you get good weather its worth it . Spar shop nearby has a very decent butchers inside 👌

Dick was an extremely attentive host, the B&B’s location is superb and very close to the village, breakfast was tasty and plentiful and the jacuzzi room we had was clean and comfortable.

Gem of a B&B in a very nice part of Wales. Very clean and comfortable room. The jacuzzi bath was a wonderful treat after hiking in the elan valley. Really lovely breakfast. Friendly host. Can't wait to return!

Our recent stay was exceptional, largely thanks to the outstanding staff who were among the most genuinely friendly and welcoming I've encountered. Every team member was engaging, attentive and consistently went the extra mile – nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was wonderful. Our group used two mobile homes (one pet-friendly, one with a hot tub) and both were spotlessly clean, feeling almost brand new. The beds and linens were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we all slept well. While some beds were a bit short for the taller adults in our group, this is understandable for family-oriented accommodation and didn't detract from our comfort. The grounds were beautifully maintained and added to the magical, tranquil atmosphere of the park, with many thoughtful touches enhancing the vibe. Finally, the restaurant delivered outstanding food. Several members of our party enjoyed steaks cooked to perfection and other dishes were equally delightful, well-presented and generously portioned. The breakfast buffet was a feast, offering an excellent variety of hot and cold options that were frequently replenished. The best testament to our experience is that many in our group fell in love with the park and are already eager to return.

We didnt have breakfast as we had a self catered cabin, but we did have dinner at the restaurant. The dinning area is lovely and very ascetically pleasing. The food was great absolutely no complaints at all, the staff were super friendly and Helpful, especially Suman who was happy to chat to us about the local area, the site grounds and what it was like to live in Porthmadog. There was an online app where you can book your meals which was very easy to use and sends you reminders of your bookings. I would definitely recommend that you book in advance as it does get booked up early. Especially on the days they don't serve dinner on the terrace. Oh and the terrace had the most beautiful views, a totally stunning place. The cabin was the best of all, perfectly compact but with plenty of room for what we needed, excellently furbished and comfortable with the sounds of the gushing waterfalls near by. A real home from home, we loved it more than expected.

Set in a beautiful valley near to Porthmadog the site is very well kept and quiet. The hotel restaurant serves delicious food and the staff are friendly and helpful. My 2 person pod accommodation was comfortable and clean with a lovely veranda area to sit out and parking immediately adjacent. A compact kitchen has all the basics you need for self catering and the shower, although small, has good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The area is one of immense natural beauty with plenty to see and do.

Our stay at the pods was an exceptional retreat into nature, combining privacy, comfort, and the unique pleasure of a jacuzzi under the stars. Located a bit on the outskirts, the property offers a tranquil escape, yet remains accessible via a short taxi ride from Carmarthen railway station or the local 222 bus. The check-in process was seamless and our stay was truly comfortable from the moment we arrived. The pods themselves are a marvel - eco-friendly, yet equipped with all the essentials for a cozy stay. It felt like a private sanctuary, perfectly placed to offer stunning views of the surrounding landscapes, which we enjoyed from our own little patio. A highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the jacuzzi, an ideal way to relax and celebrate our friend’s birthday. Waking up to the sound of birds tweeting and the gentle rustle of leaves was purely magical!

The location is perfect as it is literally across the road from Beaumaris Castle. Check in via the bar. Rooms at the front (we had double room 4) have a castle view, rooms at the back have a sea view (we also had single room 3). Rooms are comfortable and clean with tea & coffee making and a TV, en suite bathroom with shower. There is a small bar with really reasonable prices that tends to be used by locals. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a lounge room at the rear where you can take your drinks and it has a TV and radio. There is a dining room, although the hotel does not do meals, where breakfast is served. Breakfast is continental only but was great with a choice of cereals, Wheatabix, museli, cornflakes, bran flakes etc, pain au chocolat, croissants, preserves and butter, yoghurts, fresh fruit, and toast to order. Lovely member of staff brings tea and toast and it's help yourself to coffee. In terms of parking, the hotel does not have it's own car park (Beaumaris is a very old town and was not designed for vehicles) but the Beaumaris Green car park is literally through an alley at the back (you can see it from the back rooms) and costs £6 for 24 hours. Motorhomes and campervans cannot stay overnight. Car park was busy and we couldn't park near the hotel end but the attendant advised us to move the car to where we wanted when it was quieter later, which we did.

Very happy with my stay in Castle Court. Hotel right in the centre of Beaumaris, walking distance to all attractions, pubs and restaurant. Opposite castle. There's no parking outside the hotel but we have left our car in Green Car Park which is literally 5min walk from the hotel, it costs 5 pounds for 24 hours. Our room was spotless clean and heating was on full speed when we arrived, it was lovely warm and welcoming. Everything you need was in the room including hair dryer and toiletries, tea, coffee etc. Very spacious and comfy bed and plenty of sockets in the room, so could charge your phone and hair dye in the same time :) Usually its only 1 or 2 and and you have to switch something to get something else on. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. There's lovely cosy pub downstairs for non residents but there's also lovely lounge for the hotel guests. So we actually got drinks from the bar and spent time in the lounge around fire place what was amazing. Very relaxing stay and we definitely stay again if in the area. Good value for the price. Can't only comment on the breakfast because we have left very early and didn't eat in the hotel .

Continental breakfast was good, proper coffee too. Breakfast staff were attentive & polite without being overbearing. Room was clean and spacious, beds were comfy, did sleep well. Booked last minute so had the twin, but pushed the beds together easily. In the late afternoon sat outside with a beer opposite Beaumaris Castle, later retiring to the bar for another, which was cosy, locals were friendly before going out into town for our evening meal. After dinner, returned to Castle Court, sat in the residents lounge and played Qwirkle which we'd brought with us. Beaumaris was a lovely little spot to tour from.

The location was perfect for access to everything in Beaumaris. we had a great view of the castle from our room which was clean and comfortable. the hotel offers a basic bed and breakfast service which we found met all of our needs. Friendly helpful staff. There was a fresh continental breakfast served from 8 am with good coffee.

Great location in Beaumaris. Friendly, helpful staff. Use of lounge with large telly . Very obliging and made sure the match we wanted to see was tuned in.Room was comfortable and clean with a powerful shower and a well stocked tea and coffee tray . Breakfast is continental style with plenty of hot drinks available ,warm pastries , variety of cereals and toast . Service was quick . Outside area is a great place to sit and people watch within view of the castle. There is also a more private walled garden area.

We had an amazing 3 night stay here. The location of the huts is very well thought out to offer maximum privacy and stunning views. We stayed in Cut Sinc which is one of the older huts and a little limited electronically (this was fine for us) where as the other huts had tv’s, microwaves and flushing toilets, so worth thinking about your wants/needs when picking your hut. All of the huts were clean, well maintained and surprisingly spacious. We had a wood fired hot tub which had been heated ready for us on arrival and on the last night we got to try out the jacuzzi in one of the other huts. Both were fantastic!! Sioned and her family were welcoming, friendly and helpful and we got to enjoy Huwi’s fresh eggs every morning. Whilst you are only a short drive from the local villages the huts are totally immersed in nature. We got to watch kites, an Owl, bats, deers and rabbits. I would definitely recommend a stay here and we will be back again.

Such a perfect getaway. The hosts were friendly and were kind enough to preheat the hottub for our late arrival. The hot tub was fantastic and it was great to have extra logs available at the hut for a very reasonable £5/bag. We loved the stream at the foot of the decking and the chickens a stone's throw behind the hut. The location is quite easy to find thanks to the hosts' instructions. The hut had everything we could possibly need kitchen-wise, the bed was comfy, the hut was clean, and though the composting toilet can take some getting used to, it was by no means unpleasant. The barbecue was great to have though confusing to light, but the host's mother was on hand to help us within a moment's notice. We really enjoyed having meals on the wooden decking overlooking the stream. The mini-shop was a nice addition for (not the most affordable) emergency supplies and the freezer to swap ice-blocks was great to keep the ice box cold each day. There's a lovely walk we did that starts at the hut and goes up onto the hills which I'd recommend. Though the hut is off-grid, we could just about make the most of the mini-shop's free WiFi from our decking. Sadly the USB ports by the bed didn't seem to work so we had to use the kitchen's USB ports, and the main light switch plate wasn't fitted properly and kept falling on the floor, but neither of these problems were a bother in the grand scheme of things. Overall I would definitely recommend to a friend!

We loved it all. If you're after a peaceful break, then this is perfect. My wife was chilling on the decking with a glass of wine, watching the sheep and their lambs while a few pheasants popped into the field. There were also rabbits in hedge row and buzzards in the sky. In the meantime, I was cooking our dinner on the log burner stove as I waited for the log fired jacuzzi to warm up. It was pure bliss. We took the puppy too, and he was secure on the decking as the hut is all fenced off. There is also a shop there which is a great idea. The shop is an honest shop where you help yourself and leave the cash in a locked box. They really have thought of everything.

Overall my stay with the Mid Wales Luxury Huts has been fantastic and a memorable one. The hosts were amazing as they were extremely helpful and friendly. We did have an incident where we had run out of gas for the BBQ, but the host were incredibly responsive and fixed the issue within 5 minutes. If you are looking for a little romantic getaway, I do believe that you would not be let down, the location of the hut was perfect as you are remote in the countryside with beautiful scenery all around, but a short drive to the nearest seaside town. The hut and hot tub was clean overall and offered a lot of privacy. Would love to stay again. Thank you again Sioned & Andy!

set in a stunning location, plenty of hiking, walking, mountain biking. i had a room in the main building which had a good size shower room attached, lovely comfortable bed, tv, tea/coffee and full sized kettle, stunning view from my window. evening meal of fish and chips which was delicious bar opened until 9pm so if you are looking for night life i would recommend you stay in the town as you are a long way from civilisation but if you are needing to rest relax and destress this is a fantastic place to do it. The staff were amazing so friendly, helpful and cheerful. On the edge of a forest so no main roads to listen to just the birds singing.

Communication with staff pre arrival was excellent. Location was perfect for mountain biking. Amazing views. Free parking. Free WiFi. Very clean and compact room, just what we needed. TV, kettle and supplies, clean private bathroom. Independent heater so we could make the room the right temperature for us. Quiet time from 2200 allowing everyone to get some sleep. Simple check in process. Restaurant on site for evening meals if required

We got upgraded to a cabin which was amazing. Very cosy with beautiful mountain views outside the window. Perfect, quiet location. Very relaxing and dog friendly place. Lovely host and great facilities. Highly recommended, thank you !

The property was beautiful! So peaceful and what a view! It was comfortable, the room had so much space and I will never get over the views! We will most definitely be back and bringing the whole family! The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful they engaged in conversation and laughter. 100% an amazing stay and worth every penny (which wasn’t a lot for what you got) the food was also one of the best meals I’ve ever had!

Amazing views across the hills from the balcony. Beautiful sunset which we watched also from the balcony.We could see so many stars as in the middle of nowhere. Lovely hot shower. Cycle trails right on the doorstep. We didn't use the car for 4 days. Very peaceful. The lodge was basic as we could see from the photos, but I really liked it and we were very comfortable.

These huts are amazing, spotlessly clean and well equipped, and the bed was so comfy. The shared toilet/shower block is is always exceptionally clean.

Beautiful place to stay. Glamping pods well equipped. Perfect location. Barmouth beach nearby. Staff friendly and helpful.

We absolutely loved the hut, it was very well equipped, and had a very comfortable bed. The site is great, very clean and well set out. The position of the site is close to so many great walks and amazing places to visit. If you go to this site make sure you do the "torrent walk" which is just up the lane, it is amazing!

Lovely park. Really well kept with great views and caravan was spotlessly clean. Great value for money and the included spa with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna was an added bonus!

Location is great. 5 minutes drive from town. The view from park view lodge is incredible. Also, enjoying the view while being on the jacuzzi is something else! The place was clean. The staff was really helpful, gave us really good instructions on how to explore the city. Perfect place to spend your weekend. It definitely met my expectations

The views are amazing 2nd time stayed, staff friendly and helpful. Very clean, peaceful, great location to get out. Hot tub checked everyday. Liked personal touch tea and coffee on arrival. Will definitely go back again. Lovely facilities, restaurant, gym and spa treatments All round stunning place.

We absolutely love this place everything about it is just perfect for us. Peaceful and quiet. I can relax and do my painting or crocheting while my husband enjoys the gym. The restaurant serves lovely food and the stsff are friendly and helpful. I can't say anymore than just perfect. We will be back soon. Tasteful modern decor throughout and the rooms and bathroom are of a very high standard. Very well organised for breakfast which had a huge selection including fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, pastries as well as full English and variations thereof. Ideal location, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, pubs, promenade, Great Orme tram, Cable car to summit, Happy Valley gardens and bus stops. Just perfect, thankyou so much for our lovely stay.

If you are considering going to Llandudno you won’t regret staying at Lynton House. Sheradan & Mark are amazing hosts to their B&B. The breakfast is amazing! We are truly spoiled having visited this B&B. You are steps away from The Pier, restaurants just across and down the street. Extremely walkable as long as you don’t have mobility issues. Llandudno has a lot of steep hills so mobility is the community, not the B&B. If mobility issues be aware several flights of stairs to rooms but ask to be on lower floor. Room was clean, comfortable and hosts are so friendly. Patio out front and common areas very enjoyable. So happy we stayed here. Very special place we will be recommending

Beautiful hotel which is spotlessly clean with very comfortable king size bed. We stayed in room 3 with a lovely side view of the sea. Breakfast was very tasty & a good choice was offered. I had the Lynton House grill breakfast & my husband had the vegetarian option which set us up for the day exploring. Sheridan was very welcoming & we wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. It is beautifully decorated & the lounge area is an added bonus which was very calming & relaxing.

The proprietors were welcoming on arrival, suggesting parking places nearby should we be unable to park in their own car park. The bedroom was a good size, beautifully decorated, all very clean and had two comfortable chairs to relax in. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. The location was good for getting to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend staying at Lynton House.

The hotel was spotless, the room was lovely with everything we needed, the bed was really comfortable and we slept really well. The location is perfect it is close to the pier and lots of restaurants and bars. The hosts were really friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was superb really good quality produce and expertly cooked. I will definitely be staying here again and recommend the Lynton House to everyone.

Our cottage Ysgubor was ideal for our needs, a perfect base for a family break away with my daughter, daughter-in-law and my grandsons. The cottage was cosy and comfortable, full of character and pretty much had all that we needed. We felt there was enough room for 3 adults and a 5 & a 6 year old! The lounge area of the open plan living, dining and kitchen area accommodated us in comfort. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we slept well after our days out introducing the boys to their Welsh heritage. The shower is wonderful, excellent water pressure and easy to regulate the temperature - no problems washing away the sand between toes and seasalt hair from a beach day! As well as the bathroom downstairs it was very helpful to have the cloakroom facilities upstairs. The location is quite idyllic and so tranquil, you literally felt the stress and hectic focus of general life slip right away. The best compliment I can give is that the boys talked about going home each day after our intrepid adventures, and didn't want to leave. Thank you for your excellent communication from booking to going home, the delightful welcome pack and for providing a home that lifted and healed our spirits.

The Cottage was perfect. It was very clean infact spotless. The location of the Cottage was perfect for where we going it was very peaceful and quiet (we was probably the loudest around) overall perfect we will be back. Thank you so much.

When arrived at the cottage it was beautiful inside and out love that got welcome gifts everywhere was clean and tidy and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The bed was so comfortable , fresh with bed sheets n clean towels. Would be nice if it had a log burner inside would make it more Cozy for couples.

Cosy but spacious, very comfortable, very clean, lovely new kitchen, entire cottage well-equipped, plenty of towels/tea-towels provided. Plenty of storage space. We stayed in kestrel lodge, it was very peaceful, the hottub was very private , very clean with beautiful views. The lady on reception was very friendly and help ful, not sure what her name was, but lady with the farm.

We liked staying at Wales the view was amazing and the jacuzzi was great.

The location was great, lovely views and we where lucky to have good weather. Would definitely stay here again for sure. The jacuzzi bath was an added bonus.

Everything ! Such an old quirky building that we love and amazing how it’s been kept in such good shape. Restaurant food outstanding, service with a smile and goes the extra mile to help. 4th time here and will be back soon. We love the jacuzzi room but now discovered the one bedroom cottage that my folks stayed in and now it’s a tough choice !

A quaint place in a beautiful setting. It's immaculate from the outside and that continued inside. Our suite was absolutley beautiful, full of character and very big. Lovely pieces of furniture and cottage doors. The bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was nice, and in a lovely period room. A really nice stay.

Absolutely fantastic food and vast menu, normally with such a large menu you lose quality but not at Ty Gwyn, the food was exceptional for all four of us on both evenings and breakfasts. The hotel itself is superb, like going back in time, I hope they always keep this decor and furniture as this is what gives Ty Gwyn its charm. We had rooms 3 and 6B and they were beautiful and comfortable, both with jacuzzi bath tubs. The lady on reception was very welcoming and really nice to talk to - apologies but we didn’t catch her name. There was also Hilary serving at breakfast and she was absolutely amazing and such good fun.

Stayed in the lovely one bedroom apartment. It was Perfect, lovely modern kitchen area, hob, oven, fridge l, freezer, washer, dishwasher, wow! everything you would ever need was available in this kitchen. Plenty of pots, pans, glasses etc. Large TV in the lounge & Comfortable seating to relax in. Large upstairs bedroom. Bed was really comfortable and very clean. Lots of space upstairs, cute rocking chair and a bed settee. Lovely view from upstairs windows. Bathroom, small room with shower, all new, super clean and modern. Various shower gels, shampoo n conditioners. Very impressed with this accommodation. Had our own front door, felt very safe. Would highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟Breakfast was in with the price and was delicious, lots to choose from and plenty on your plate. Lovely service, thankyou 👍

Plenty of space through out the property, whether you want to relax in the garden area with hot tub, large quiet space in a downstairs living room or have drinks in the bar which is also a chinese food restaurant from 17:30pm-to approximately 22:00 depending on bookings.. Inexpensive food and drinks in the restaurant. Breakfast is served between 06:30am and 9am. With cereals, yogurt and a main breakfast choice of, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, beans, vine tomatoes, hash browns and glorious fried eggs. Coffee and tea and a choice of orange or apple juice available too. Check in from 15:00 on arrival checkout up to 10:00 on your departure. 40 minutes from lake Vyrnwy turn left onto nain road out of hotel. 30 minutes to Barmouth turn right out hotel. Located in the south of snowdonia national park.

The room was very spacious and clean, bed comfortable, view from the window lovely and it was quiet at night. The owners were very friendly and kind. Breakfast was delicious full Welsh and served in a company of cute puppies which was an added bonus! The restaurant served delicious Chinese food. Overall perfect and would recommend.

Everything about this place was amazing, greeted with a smile and helped to the room by the lovely lady proprietor, given a guided tour of the beautiful house and garden, the lady also moved us to a room with a much nicer view of the garden and surrounding area. The evening meal was authentic Chinese cuisine, very tasty and extremely good value for money, breakfast was also filling with a large choice of continental followed by full English breakfast / Welsh breakfast, then we get to the room and the bed, so comfortable we didn't want to leave, the bathroom had both bath and shower so spoilt for choice, both bedroom and bathroom were impeccably clean and beautifully decorated with added touches like coffee machine as well as kettle, his and hers bathrobes and slippers, suffice to say that we will be back for another visit Thanks for a lovely stay Buckley Arms staff xxJan and Rob 25/8/23

We liked everything about our stay in the Buckley Arms. The food in the Chinese restaurant was delicious, with a very good selection of drinks at the bar. We had a choice of two beautiful rooms, very spacious and comfortable with stunning view from the back of the hotel. The bed and bed lining were extremely comfy and we had a first class sleep. Breakfast was made for us fresh and very tasty. Could not fault this place. We will be back there to stay again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Every aspect of the experience was excellent apart from the water coming into the jacuzzi bath being rather dirty. However I was at fault for not reporting this. My husband and I had gone away for a break and didn't have the energy to complain. Every other aspect of the stsy was brilliant and I'm confident had we complained the matter would of been sorted.

This property described the bedroom as the “Sumptuous Room” I can confirm beyond any shadow of doubt that sumptuous it was. Extremely comfortable, clean, warm, well presented, well decorated, modern fixtures and fittings with loads of space available. The building is a bespoke self-contained modern and well-built Bed & Breakfast facility with a reception area, dining room, bar and kitchen with the perfect surrounding views of the Canaston Bridge area all around the dining room from a whole host of large panoramic windows. Loads of safe/secure off-road parking on site, quite and tranquil for a good night’s sleep. The perfect stay for anyone considering touring/visiting the Pembroke area of West Wales. Perfect location almost central of Pembroke to tour/visit North, South, and West of Pembroke County. Emma and her team deserve nothing but praise for this extremely well-presented property. I can highly recommend this property to any Booking.Com customer as seasoned Booking.Com Genius traveling the world for many decades.

This place is a real gem. It is quiet with lovely views and a woodland walk but an ideal base for visiting Narbeth and Tenby. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was exceptional . The accommodation was spotlessly clean . We stayed in number 10 which has a seating area looking over the fields with a mini kitchen for tea an and coffee. The shower was really great . My partner and I go away on lots of overnight stays and the shower is nearly always a problem but here it was a fab high powered walk in shower. Lovely after a tiring day sightseeing . We would have loved to have stayed longer so not booking 2nights was a mistake but we will be back for sure .. probably take my parents who are elderly away as this place is suitable for all ages .Just a fabulous place all round !!! Five stars !

Fantastic room with conservatory and terrace, definitely 5* level, as everything was of the greatest quality, including the very tasty breakfast. Both the English cooked breakfast and the salmon were very nice. Plus, there's a buffet breakfast bar with breads, sweet pieces, juice, different muesli and fruit. Very nice. We also brought our dog, it was warmly welcomed, and there were a dog bed, treats and food and water bowls, which was great! Emma, the owner, was also very helpful and nice. We can highly recommend this B&B and would definitely stay there again. Everything was perfect and very enjoyable and nice!

Well appointed, clean and comfortable room. We appreciated having a small fridge. Although this is near the A55, we found our room to be quiet. The staff were welcoming and friendly (reception and bar/restaurant). Good choice of breakfast items in the buffet - including pastries, yoghurt and fruit. The restaurant menu has a long list of international items. There are also a few chef specials. We didn't have high hopes, but we enjoyed what we ordered both nights we ate in; fish, chicken, beef and fresh veg all perfectly cooked. The French wines we had were very acceptable too. Plenty of parking at the hotel - the surrounding fast food areas do get congested. This is a busy service area. Note too that the A55 can be far from an expressway with frequent holdups.

Great hotel . Modern and clean restaurant with a wide selection of food both at dinner and breakfast. All very tasty and well presented. The staff are a lovely asset here. Kind attentive cheerful and personable. Interesting and interested in their guests. My bedroom was clean comfy and well equipped. The bathroom was a tad tired but didn't alter my stays enjoyment.

Location good, room very comfortable with tea and coffee, good quality toiletries. Restaurant on site although we didnt eat there, also Mcdonalds and another restaurant in same grounds together with petrol station. Two ladies at reception very friendly and welcoming. We asked about a short extension as we were going to a wedding and this was arranged with ease. Special mention to Dylan who was receptionist on the day we checked out, we were having problems with the IHG app but he sorted it out for us and was very friendly and helpful, an excellent ambassador for the hotel. Well kept grounds and plenty room for parking.

I had a lovely experience here. Starting from reception I was welcomed by Veronika a professional friendly receptionist oriented to the customer needs. The entire staff which I meted here was lovely, helpful and nice with everyone. The rooms was clean, free from odor or anything bad. The accommodation was fantastic, loads of parking spaces, restaurants close and in the hotel with very delicious meals. At restaurant I was greeted by Mrs Maria, a multi language speaker lady who was carefully helping everyone in the restaurant to have a wonderful experience. Thank you everyone. Tea and coffee available, use of kitchen facilities, lovely hot tub, communal but good fun to get to know other guests. Food is abiut a 10-15 minute drive away, can recommend Poons Street food

We spent two nights here and loved every minute of it. It is in the country but only a 5 minute drive to restaurants etc. Georgie is a perfect hostess! Breakfast was outstanding from my Canadian point of view. I had suffered an injury a few days earlier and she went out of her way to make life easier for me.

I Would recommend this amazing bed and breakfast. Amazing views and great facilities.

Fantastic accommodation, lovely big room and en-suite bathroom. Large kitchen with everything you need. Dog friendly and our cockapoo loved the fields on site where we could walk her and play fetch. Georgie the owner was fantastic, she's friendly and is extremely helpful. All in all a fantastic couple of days away.

The hotel is in a lovely location with excellent views and my room was so comfortable - the bed and pillows get a special mention as well as the views from the bedroom whilst enjoying morning coffee.🙂 We ate in the restaurant and had a fantastic Sunday lunch as well as a dinner on our last night. The chef, kitchen and waiting staff really made the meal exceptional - delicious food and friendly service. We also enjoyed drinking the bar - nice and relaxing and in the winter with the fire on, I imagine it’s very cosy. Great place for a base to explore a beautiful area - the walks are fantastic.

The hotel was lovely; the rooms were very well appointed and comfortable. It was very quiet and relaxing. The common rooms were very nice and welcoming. The staff was professional, gracious and friendly. We spent a lovely cocktail hour in the lounge and enjoyed delicious custom cocktails. Dinner and breakfast were first rate! Local foods, creatively prepared. We went for an afternoon hike along the canal, which was easy to access from the property. Highly recommend this property.

Cannot speak highly enough of our stay at this beautiful hotel. The hotel itself is stunning, beautifully appointed, fabulous gardens and such a wonderful, scenic location. The room was beautifully appointed and decorated, so comfortable and so many little extra touches and details. I think it had been recently refurbished and it certainly had been done well. It was lovely. All the public rooms were lovely too, very comfortable and relaxing. The food was absolutely outstanding. I honestly think that the dinner we had in the restaurant was the best meal I’ve ever eaten. The flavours in every course, from the canapés to the petit fours, all worked so well together. It really was delicious. Fantastic breakfast too. And finally the staff were brilliant! Everyone that we interacted with was incredibly friendly and so helpful. They just made us feel so welcome and relaxed. Every single one of them made us feel like they were old friends, welcoming us to stay in their beautiful home. Clearly not the cheapest hotel but worth every penny in my opinion. Thank you all, we loved it.

This is possibly the best hotel I have stayed at - it has completely exceeded my expectations. It is situated in a private area away from the road, and the scenery is the best I have seen. Our room was also upgraded and it was so spacious (the decor and the space felt royal). We had every facility we needed such as hair dryer, iron, wifi, TV etc. The restaurant was amazing, everything was made out of fresh produce and it felt like a Michelin restaurant - I was seriously impressed, compliments to the chef. We also had parking space and could see the car from the room. The hotel is like a mansion from movies and I will definitely bring my family and friends here to experience it as well. There are gardens within the precinct of the hotel which can be seen on beautiful walks. I highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to spoil themselves, reconnect with nature, have some peace and quiet, and eat well.

It was such a stress free booking as well as very organised for such a short amount of time from booking to arriving at the property. The jacuzzi just added the icing on the cake! Will be booking again next year!

I could write for hours, absolutely loved the place, and we really didn't want to leave! It really is home from home. Everything you need in the fully equipped kitchen, A cosy comfy lounge, the most comfiest beds I've ever slept on, lovely powerful shower. Really spacious so perfect if you did have the full 6 guests staying. The hot tub was a very welcome treat, after long strolls on the beach. The garden is perfect, secluded area for the hot tub, seating area and then a lovely patch of grass for our furry companions. 😊 Team this with the location, only being a few minutes walk to the beach, less than 10mins to the main town that's full with things to do, and a gorgeous pub/hotel literally 2mins walk is brilliant. It's everything you could ask for and more. Sam was a wonderful host, keeping in contact to make sure we were happy with our stay. Myself and my partner come to Barmouth at least once a year, sometimes twice, and this is the first place we have stayed that we know we will definitely be returning to, and already can't wait to come back! 😊

We wish we could give Swyn y Mor 100 out of 10! Sam the host was fantastic, provided excellent arrival instructions and was incredibly responsive when messaged. My other half decided to lose the key on our stroll around Barmouth 🤦🏻‍♀️ as soon as we contacted Sam not only did she respond immediately but we had a replacement key within the hour. Absolutely fantastic. The decor of the house is lovely, incredibly clean, and was so warm and welcoming when we arrived. The bed and pillows were extremely comfy and provided one of the best night sleeps we've had in a while. The enclosed garden was perfect for our 14 month old terrier, we felt like we could happily let him roam around without having to worry about him 😊 Location wise we couldn't have asked for a better place! The beach is a 2 minute walk away, 5 minutes down the road is the local co op and the main high street, absolutely perfect. It was also such a lovely surprise to be greeted by a welcome hamper on arrival, a fantastic touch from Sam that makes you feel so welcome. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect weekend away, we can't thank Sam enough 😊 looking forward to booking our next trip in the new year 😊

Oh my … we loved our stay at this property! it was so lovely, spotlessly clean, fully equipped and modern. The house was cosy warm and the beds and pillows so comfortable. The hot tub was amazing , perfect size for 4 of us with space to spare. The enclosed garden was great for our dog and she loved the home too. We fell in love with Barmouth and will definitely return. Sam the host was easy to contact and was so lovely. She sorted out our queries quickly and we really appreciated the gift basket left for us which was an appreciated touch. This is our SECOND trip to Swyn y Mor and as always it was truly wonderful 😊 The location is absolutely perfect, the house is always clean and well equipped, with everything you need for a home from home stay. Sam is attentive and at the end of the phone if needed. The garden is great, enclosed for dogs and the hot tub is just amazing, great to hop into after a long day exploring. We absolutely love Barmouth, it's our happy place, and if this house is available it will always be our go to place to stay. We stayed at the Coastal House and it is full of character. The location is perfect with amazing view. It's spacious and comfortable. Plenty of complimentary goodies. Adequate facilities for all 8 of us with ample back garden to enjoy. Paul the host is friendly and helpful. His tips to local sight seeing is spot on. There are plenty to see just a stone throw away. 10 min walk from the light house with ancient stone huts remains and great scenery paths around.10 min drive to the town or to Trearddur Bay. Plenty of decent restaurants within a 15min drive. We must admit the weather was nice and that made our stay even more exceptional. We will definitely be coming back.

Due to issue with our booking we stayed in two rooms, Puffin and Shell. Puffin was smallish with compact ensuite shower room; Shell was a bigger, nicer room with sea view but (shared) bathroom across the corridor, although I was told that they manage bookings so that strangers don't share. Check-in was easy, rooms were clean, nicely furnished and comfortable, breakfast packs were good until 3rd day when we ran out of some items. Heating was on in June keeping room warm and cosy. Main downside was hot water supply which took a long time to come through making shower difficult to use.

We had a lovely 2 night stay in the Potting Shed room in Feb '17. It's literally a former potting shed which is a lean-to built against the main cottage. Whilst small it's finished to a delightfully high standard, very tasteful decoration and quality fixtures and fitting. There's only about a foot of room around the sides of comfortable double bed, a small table and chairs and a small fridge that is stocked with milk and orange to complement the breakfast cereals available. The wall mounted TV with inbuilt DVD has a full freeview complement of channels and there's a DAB bedside radio. There's a separate WC, wash basin and shower room with a lovely heated towel rail. The bedroom and bathroom both have high-class Velux roof lights that can be opened. The room is spotlessly clean, quiet and cozy. The garden area outside is pleasant and the sea can be heard in the distance. We enjoyed our stay and it's clear the owners care about their guests and have lovely taste.

From the moment I arrived I was extremely impressed with this b&b. The reception area was very clean and smart. I had a the POTTING SHED allocated to me which was very smart, modern, clean and well laid out. Water and toiletries were provided, as was a breakfast pack which was included in the price. I found my room quiet and very comfortable. The garden area was tidy, well mown and seating and a table was provided. I really failed to find any negatives about this b&b, it truly was first class and I would definitely use again if in the area......

Lovely views, lovely room, I stayed with my teen son in the room with 2 single beds. He immediately notice the clean smell! The bathroom gorgeous, separate toilet, in the room is a kettle and mini fridge, the staff had left bottled water, tea bags, cereal, cereal bars, coffee, yogurt drinks and biscuits. Also had a hair dryer, plenty of clothes storage, the owners really do make an effort and that makes this accommodation stand out. Thy have lots of leaflets and also free postcards which my grandad insists I send him every time I go anywhere so I thought it was a nice touch to have them in the lobby. Only negatives which aren't really negatives is we Couldn't access the main kitchen to cook as my son has medication we eat very late but there was a smaller kitchen with a microwave. We ordered a takeaway but the delivery man was unable to find us so we had to drive to meet him. Id definitely recommend. Lovely views of ocean, fields and even a horse! Not much light pollution so to see so many stars was just wonderful

The eco Lodge had lovely decor and was comfortable for our needs. The hottub was the highlight of our stay. It was perfect temperature and helped us unwind of an evening. The bedding was very fresh, and clean towels were provided. There was a key safe to enter the property, so we didn't see any staff during our stay. We didn't mind at all, though, as we wanted a very quiet getaway, and that is exactly what we got. It was a 12 minute drive to Tesco and places to eat. Would highly recommend the food at the farmers' arms in the town. The food was amazing and there was plenty of it.

Peaceful Stay in Beautiful Wales My husband and I spent two nights in the Echo Lodge and had a wonderful time overall. The location was absolutely stunning—surrounded by nature, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The lodge itself was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, providing a peaceful atmosphere with amazing views. The only thing we were slightly surprised by was the kitchen. We were expecting a bit more in terms of cooking facilities, but it was more of a kitchenette, so it wasn’t ideal for preparing full meals. That said, it wasn’t a huge issue for us since we enjoyed exploring local dining options. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway in Wales, just keep in mind the kitchen setup if you're planning to cook during your stay.

Perfect location overlooking the countryside, the lodge was clean, warm and modern, the hot tub was big, had already been turned on before we got there so was hot. Hot tub was cleaned everyday and staff were friendly and staff facilitated early check in/late check out with no issues at all. There was a welcome pack containing tea, coffee and biscuits, a little bottle of Prosecco, and leaflets about what to do in the area and dog treats. There are two large supermarkets literally ten minutes away. There are also plenty of pubs that serve food in the vicinity.

The hotel is set in lovely mature grounds and the building itself provide lots of seating outside. The hotel inside has been refurbished in the restaurant and seating lounge next to it. My room was huge and was a family room. This area hadnt been refurbished but was homely and comfortable and what I noticed the most about the bedroom and bathroom is that it was very clean which is a major selling point, The hotel cares about the cleanliness. I ate in the restaurant and tried the chicken curry which I requested to be spiced up, The curry arrived with fresh chunky chips and basmati rice and a small naan. This curry was seriously good and one of the best I have eaten, Chicken was cooked perfectly, curry flavours were lovely, chips crunchy and rice perfect. Would recommend to anyone. The restaurant was really busy which created a great atmosphere. The location of the hotel was great as it is near to breathtaking views just a 5 minute drive away.

Our fourth stay, absolutely love it here, tranquility and food is always good. Want to say Karen the receptionist was so attentive, professional helpful and funny, a breath of fresh air she really looked after us and went the extra mile, thank you so much. Beautiful evening meal with two lovely young waitresses and great barman in the afternoon who we have seen on other visits with great customer service skills. Looks like there's some improvements happening, new windows and painting, it does need a lot of modernization but working with what they have is comfortable and clean and a fantastic setting, look forward to the next visit 😊😊 x

My stay was a very positive experience. I was remembered, from a wedding reception two years ago, by the receptionist and that is extremely flattering. The staff, though mostly young, were very attentive there was even a 'nine' (see the Troy/Rushton scale) on duty in the bar on Saturday evening The room, though paid for as a single, was a large double and extremely comfortable. A quiet comfortable place to stay that I highly recommend.

We stayed in one of the VIP Pods (Halle's Hut). This pod was absolutely stunning, the interior was very clean and beautifully decorated, modern bathroom, fabulous shower, outside the cabin you have your own private garden with a deluxe hottub, outside bar with fridge, seating furniture, chimney log burner, pizza oven, garden ornaments that give it that special touch to camping.It was the perfect getaway, Owners Darren and Jenny are very friendly and helpful they will go that extra mile to make your visit extra special. This place is incredible.

We stayed in Cindy's hideout pod. We loved the hottub, with brilliant views. Pod was excellent couldn't of asked for better. Fresh bakes on arrival was a nice touch. Great location with plenty to do and see within half an hour drive. Nice pub within walking distance (Queens Head). Will definitely be going back.

It was very quiet, clean and modern. Pods were attractive to look at and weren’t too cramped together. Shower was very powerful and pod was spacious. Staff were friendly, helpful and very welcoming. When we arrived, the hot tub wasn’t working but we were given a refund and free extras as an apology. Location was great, about 15 minute drive from Conwy castle and 10 minute drive to Tesco and cinema, etc. Lovely views, great location for sunsets.

We absolutely loved the location, breaktaking views that speak for themselves. The host had thought of everything inside the cabin to make it perfect so you have everything you need. It was also beautifully clean. The host eleri was super lovely and happy to help! The hottub was so much bigger than we thought it was going to be, it kept the temperature while we were in it. We never left the cabin once we got there. We bought all our food and drinks with us, it was just the most relaxing stay we could have anticipated. Even more relaxing than a spa break. I would highly reccommend this place for anyone. It was also an added bonus to have all the sheep and little lambs hopping around close to the cabins, such a lovely Easter! We will definitely be back as soon as we can!

My partner and I stayed for two nights in Famau cabin 1. It was absolutely beautiful. The host was so lovely and welcoming. She came to greet us when we arrived and showed us around our cabin and showed us how to work the hot tub which was very helpful, then left us to it. The hot tub was amazing and really was a highlight of our trip. It was so relaxing and calming, very clean and covered overhead to protect you from the rain. The view was absolutely breath-taking, even during the stormy weather. I loved the animals being nearby the cabins, as we drove up when we arrived we saw a little sheep lying next to our cabin which was adorable! The cabin itself was spotless and had everything we needed. The bed was soooooo comfy. The location was perfect for what we wanted it for - a quiet weekend to ourselves. It really felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. There was a lovely little pub in the centre of the village which was approx a 10 min walk from the cabin, I would highly recommend popping in there as the atmosphere was lovely. Overall a brilliant accommodation and we hope to be back soon!

What a perfect hideaway. Easy to find, owners are very friendly and helpful. Cabin was a good size with stunning views. Hot tub was ready to go on arrival which was unexpected though greatly appreciated. Two couches, both comfortable. Bed was comfortable and shower was larger than anticipated. We climbed Moel Famau on foot straight from the cabin, took around 45 minutes to the top. Some steep climbing so not for everyone.

Everything! The B&B is in a fab location just a 5 minute stroll from the main square with the restaurants, shops and pubs. We were met on arrival by such a lovely friendly couple who welcomed us into their home. Our room exceeded our expectations and was large and cosy with everything you could wish for. The bed was so comfy and the shower was amazing! We had a fabulous nights sleep and it was so quiet, no noise from any of the other rooms. Breakfast the next morning was very tasty with excellent produce and cooked fresh to order with a lovely continental spread to tuck into while waiting for your hot food. The B&B has parking which is another massive bonus for us. We will definitely be staying here again and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area. You will be well looked after.

We had a very enjoyable stay here. It is a beautiful house, and the hosts were very welcoming. We had the twin room, which was large and, as it is on the corner had two windows giving plenty of light and a mountain view from one. The bathroom (including a bath and bath robes) was also very spacious. There is a very nice garden with comfy furniture which can be used by guests. The area is so quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was good, cereals, fruit and freshly prepared full cooked breakfast. We enjoyed being able to walk into Dolgellau in the evening, it’s only takes a few minutes. I would recommend the food at Y Sospan. This hotel is very difficult to find, I would suggest reading some of the reviews on Booking.com. or asking the owners for directions.

The hosts Betty & Richard were very welcoming & the room was so cosy & comfortable. Proper coffee & fresh milk (in a little fridge) and a decent size mug in the room. Room was quiet even with the window open at night. Full English (Welsh?) breakfast, choice of cereals, toast, fresh fruit & yoghurts for breakfast to set you up for the day.

Warm and personal welcome from the minute you arrived - being shown to your room and everything you might need being pointed out. Calm and beautifully decorated with so many interesting and fascinating items and decor. The room and whole property was immaculate and spacious with a view of the surrounding area but quiet and relaxing. Personal but professional and a delight to stay….wish we’d been there for more than one night! Breakfast was beautifully served and cooked to order with a lovely relaxing atmosphere. We couldn’t have asked for anything more - and will be back soon! Thank you for being such welcoming hosts 😊

Room was spacious. Facilities of pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were lovely. Restaraunt had great views and good quality food, very well presented.

Location was beautiful. Facilities great we loved it We had hottub lodge was great beds comfy. Kids enjoyed it and the onsite pool.

Location chalet was spotless wished we’d paid extra for superior chalet with jacuzzi

The only problem was the swimming pool was really really cold so was unable to go in it same as the jacuzzi so very disappointed as this is why we chose his hotel.

Absolutely everything! Private parking, a short walk to the pods, the jacuzzi was already a light for us when we arrived. The unorthodox request I asked for was met 😂. The place was lit up at night with beautiful angel lights. Very quiet and comfortable. Contactless entry so there wasn’t any awkwardness after a long trip. It was just perfect! Very well maintained too! Me and the misses will absolutely be coming back in the summer!

It was a really peaceful getaway up in the countryside but still only a few minutes drive from shops, beach and tourist attractions which makes it a perfect location! Everything including the hot tub was clean and in good conditions including clear instructions on how to use the hottub. You get everything you need and more! Excellent hospitality! Would definitely recommend!

The lodge was absolutely gorgeous, so tidy, clean and cosy. Lighting our own fire to heat the hot tub was fun and we sat in it everyday despite some of the cloudy weather! The bed was great, the cuddle couch was perfect, the water pressure in the shower was top notch and the mini kitchen was perfect for us to make a couple of big meals and some picnics. Thank you for decorating for my boyfriends birthday too. Check in was contactless and easy but they replied to any questions we had very fast. The location was great, if you need any inspo for what to do: we ran to the nearby village and got a coffee, drove to Bala to go on the steam train, went to Dysperth waterfall, and took a very windy stroll on Talacare beach to see the lighthouse.

Loved how modern and cozy the pod was, loved the surroundings, the peace, the facilities. The hot tub was great. Great WiFi, great shower, comfy bed. Perfect for just chilling. Nice walks near by. Host was very friendly and responsive. We'll definitely book again!

The customer service was exceptional from the moment we booked to when we got home after check out. Nothing was too much trouble. They asked what time we would be checking in which meant the hot tub was at a perfect temperature on arrival. The book of local area information was really helpful and it also included useful information on how to drain, refill and heat the hot tub. The location was easy to find and only 10 minutes away from the local town with bars and restaurants. We will 100% be back and our friends even booked today for their get away in May as we couldn’t stop telling everyone about our beautiful, peaceful stay.
