The motel was situated in middle of town, absolutely perfect! The room I booked was a studio and was perfect for me. It had everything a person could need , was exceptionally clean and very well appointed. I loved the dark tinted glass on the outside door and windows, giving total privacy from the outside. The bed was so comfortable! I just melted into it. I loved how the stairs and balcony walkways were carpeted with an outdoor carpet, great idea, preventing anyone from accidentally slipping in wet or damp conditions. The hosts were very and friendly and welcoming . I will recommend this motel to anyone traveling to Wanaka, it cant be faulted.

A safe and convenient place to stay near Lake Tekapo. Our host was awesome and shared knowledge about places to eat and see. Our room(2) was comfortable and well stocked. The beds were comfortable/sheets were clean. The only recommendation I would make would be to clean the mold on the ceiling in the bathroom above the shower. For an older motel this is a quant place to stay!

This motel is situated within minutes walk to the town centre and the beautiful Lake Wanaka. The friendly staff offered us an upper room option for a better mountain view and the view was spectacular. The place was clean, comfortable for a couple and has a big wardrobe.

Location - perfect for the event we came for close by and worked out with the booking for dinner we made to the Speights Ale House. Room was amazing, tidy, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this place.

The is the nicest place I’ve stayed in NZ so far, I loved this spot! Spacious & beautifully decorated rooms. Very comfy bed. Friendly & helpful staff. Clean & top standard facilities. Quiet and peaceful. Also happens to be in the stunning town of Wanaka. All in all just a great place to stay. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone, especially if you are travelling and need to recharge.

Comfy beds and super lovely staff. Apartment was quiet, nice and well equipped. There is a balcony outside main bedroom, smart tv in the lounge downstairs, wifi works in every room of the house (something we’d had difficulties with elsewhere), check in contact free, but upon checkout the staff was amazing and so friendly. We had a great stay. Would absolutely book again.

Clean, comfortable and close to town centre so easy to walk everywhere. Staff were responsive and helpful. Laundry facilities available and bathroom good size and clean. Beds were comfortable. Room was large. Kitchen facilities great. Good view from room of surrounding nature.

Very comfortable stay. Great view of Roy's Peak from our balcony. The kitchen was really well appointed. Comfy lounge area with heaps of space. Bathrooms were roomy and very clean. Beds were very comfy, and bedrooms were roomy. We were disappointed that the spa wasn't operational and it took us ages to find the rubbish bins, but otherwise, a great stay. Would stay again!

A modern, super clean and tidy place with a terrific view. I would easily accommodate a family or three couples. It's nicely located with only a quick drive to just about anything in Wanaka but you will need a car, thankfully, there's a huge garage to stow it away.

The apartment we got, is superb!! The place comes with a big kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 laundry room and a very nicely decorated living room. The unit also has a fairly large balcony overlooking Lake Wanaka. There are 2 bathrooms where one is also being fitted with jacuzzi. The stay is very cosy and we all love it very much. Kay, the staff is very friendly and helpful showing us around in this big apartment.

Amazing property and amazing view from a spacious 3 bedroom penthouse suite! The best place we stayed in New Zealand! (We stayed at 10 different places over 3 weeks.) We came to check in after a strenuous morning hike at Roy’s Peak. We must have looked exhausted and the receptionist upgraded us to the penthouse suite! It was so beautiful and spacious and perfectly decorated. The view was to die for! Just amazing and would absolutely love to stay here again!

This was our second visit here to what must surely be Wanaka's finest accommodation. The apartment was huge with spectacular lake front and mountain views from the spacious balcony. Incredibly clean and well equipped with the convenience of on-site car parking and an unbeatable location next to the many facilities that Wanaka has on offer. The entire complex was spotlessly clean and tidy. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The pool is an added bonus. Look no further if you want to enjoy a magnificent experience.

Perfect location, great view, lovely large, modern and clean apartment. Friendly and helpful staff. It was only the 3 of us so it would be amazing for a larger family or group. Will stay again.

We had a fantastic time at the Altamont in Wanaka. The common kitchen was large , clean and well organized. The common areas were both inside and out were comfortable, clean and welcoming. The wifi was great and the common bathrooms were well maintained and clean. The host was very friendly and helpful.

Cozy and vibing accomodation. *Staff- so accomodating, friendly and approacheable. * Room- booked a room for 3 adults, it was . The room was clean and have a comfortable beds ( queen and single bed). The room was not quite spacious but still it is okay for 3 people with luggages. Heater is available as well. *Kitchen- very impressive, super tidy, organised and clean. Fully equipped and you can cook food until 9pm. Toilet- shared bathroom and toilet. Gents/ladies bathroom/toilet was so clean and organised as well.Body wash already provided. Hairdryer is available as well. * Location- 11 mins walked to Wanaka Tree. 3 to 4 mins drive. 6 mins drive to Groceries ( Super world)- drive 7 to 8 mins drive to Puzzling World-drive 10 mins to Lavender Farm-drive Overall, it is amazing! 10/10

Staff was LOVELY, very kind and attentive. The place was great, very clean, spacious, attention to detail…Perfect location. We like to have private bathrooms but here even though it was shared, it was still very good, clean and well looked after. The whole place is very clean and warm. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Kitchen has everything that you need and a dishwasher!! Cupboard and fridge are divided by rooms which is great! So well organised and clean. We only stayed a few hours as we got there late in the evening and left pretty early… wish we had more time. I would definitely recommend this place!!

Exceptional staff and facilities. Warm, welcoming, very modern and very clean. Staff are so helpful and genuine. Place has a cozy feel despite the very modern facilities. The kitchen was very well equipped and organised. The shared bathrooms were exceptional for shared bathrooms.

Stayed for 6 nights during the July school holidays for a ski trip. We were in a family studio and the layout was perfect, there were 2 single beds in a separate room with a closing door which was great for when the kids went to bed, and we could still use the main area with lights on. The room itself seemed to be newly renovated, it was all spotlessly clean when we arrived and every day the housekeeper had been by. Very warm, heating in every room, underfloor bathroom heating was a nice touch. Kitchenette had everything we needed to prep simple meals, fridge already had a bunch of individual milk servings for tea, but we didn't use it as we bought our own 2L bottle. Used 1 free 1 hour hot tub session as we stayed more than 5 nights and it was great after skiing. Would recommend even if you have to pay. Kids enjoyed the trampoline too. Staff were friendly and helpful, gave us recommendations for what to do locally. Our room was directly opposite the construction site but it never bothered us as we were always out during the day when they were working on things. Location is convenient, short walk down the hill to restaurants and grocery stores. Woolworths Metro is probably the best. If you're staying, I highly recommend checking out Ya Ma's, you can order and pay at the sports bar and then collect your food when ready. Delicious smashburgers and fries, and the sports bar has free foosball, pool and a lovely big fireplace. Scroggin is also nice for breakfast/lunch.

We had a very pleasant experience at Archway hotel. We had two rooms in the new part of the complex. They were very clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the shower very good. The manager was very helpful as we had a small mixup with room selection however he fixed the problem quickly and was extremely helpful and made us feel welcome. I would recommend this motel as it is very central and just a short walk down to the lake front and the bars and restaurants. We loved our stay in Wanaka.

Clean and tidy room.. modern interior with kitchenette.. parking not a problem.. wee playground for kids and a secluded hot tub t enjoy.. The accomodation is far enough to have peace and quiet but close enough to the lake and restaurants and few minutes ride to various attractions (Puzzling World, Lavander Farm etc) The gentleman manning the reception was friendly and helpful. We had free hot tub session due to the ongoing construction but we didnt even noticed the noise.

Beautiful lodges , so close to town and very comfortable. Bathroom was so modern, best shower ! Very sleek. Hot Tub a nice bonus with an exceptional view. The newer units under construction will be amazing ! Very friendly and helpful staff.

We had a wonderful 8 night stay at Archway Motels. We were there for the Festival of Colour and the location and ambience of our family unit was perfect. Our newly renovated unit was extremely clean, warm and had everything in it we wanted. The beds were divinely comfortable, great shower and the services were outstanding. Jacqui & Mark were the best hosts. They were welcoming and friendly and went the extra mile to ensure we were well cared for. They even lent us a wheat bag to microwave, when one of us hurt her back while going for a ride on an e-bike, sorted Netflix on the smart TV for us and gave great recommendations on places to see and visit. It was like a home away from home and we loved our holiday in Wanaka at Archway. We will be returning.

Everything! The location, comfortable bed, views from the balcony and side window, spacious comfortable room. Very clean and comfortable. We stayed after doing 2 days of hiking and needed somewhere to rest and enjoy Wanaka. We cooked in for 2 nights and they had everything we needed. The laundry was handy and easy to use. Peter was very friendly and the cleaning staff were nice too. This is our second time staying and we would happily stay again. We spent a bit of time in the room just enjoying the view and the comfort.

Great location, beautiful lake view, walking distance to downtown with restaurants, bars, shopping and walking path around lake. The room was very clean, had everything needed for a comfortable stay along with kitchenette with stove top to cook meals. Peter in the office was super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend!!

Spacious, well equipped, spotless clean, comfortable and with a fantastic view over the lake from the balcony. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Would happily stay here again.

Firstly, as a solo traveller I felt safe at this accommodation. Amazing views of lake and mountain range. The room was spotless and had all the amenities, microwave, toaster, fridge etc., all new and in good working condition. Bed comfortable and made up with lovely linen. The tissues in the bathroom were of superior quality (far superior than those in a hotel) and the lotion, soap and hair shampoo good quality. If you have small children there is a playing area across the road. Friendly staff. Darren was exceptionally helpful and carried my bag across the road to the shuttle bus, how’s that for service!! THANK YOU! I would not hesitate in recommending this accommodation.

Everything about our stay was excellent. Our room was very clean and comfortable. It was amazing to sit on the balcony in the late afternoon and enjoy the spectacular views. The team were so helpful and friendly too. If we get back to Wanaka this would be our preferred place to stay.

The decor is first-class, the unit is spacious & conveniently near (yet not too near) the pool & hottub.

One of the most beautiful apartments, there is no shortage of equipment in the apartment, the pool and jacuzzi are stunning.

Very nice pool area and hottub. nice living room set up with fireplace. Soundproofing between rooms was not great; could hear neighbours from their main floor ans second floor.

The loft apartment was very spacious, well decorated, clean and had great amenities and facilities. The kitchen had a bar fridge, microwave, full cutlery and crockery, and a portable hot plate if needed. The queen bed was very comfortable and felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The heaters had the whole apartment nice and toasty on those 1-2 degree nights. The water pressure in the shower was nice and strong. Heated towel rails was a nice luxury touch. Location was really great and it was really quiet and peaceful. So close to Roy’s Peak (7 minutes) and to the Wānaka town centre (3 minutes) by car. That Wanaka Tree was literally 1 minute away from us. Nicola handled our booking and her communication was superb. Alex looked after us from check in and gave us plenty of tips for hiking/tramping in the Wanaka area. It was a really comfortable and peaceful stay.

The apartment was very spacious with lovely kitchen, lounge and 2 balconies. Easy walking distance to the Lake and lots of shops and restaurants in the area. Safe parking underground. At the end of a very nice cul-de-sac, safe and quiet area but easy to reach the centre. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely setting and gardens around. Very nice and relaxing stay.

Excellent location (a short stroll to the shops/lake front). Lovely, modern, spacious apartment (we had the 1-bed - it is actually a 2-bed but they lock off the second bedroom). Full kitchen, lounge area, and separate bedroom. Nice views (distant of the lake and mountains from our balcony). Quiet spot. Friendly staff.

This was our favourite stay in New Zealand. Apartment was perfectly clean and well equipped, excellent location being within walking distance to lakefront and restaurants. Lovely 1 bedroom apartment - really spacious and comfortable with fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer and a dishwasher. Great shower and comfy bed and very clean. Parking area downstairs and a short 5 minute walk into town. We loved our stay and would definitely come back

The location is perfect for access to all things in Wanaka as well as great hikes nearby. The apartment is well equipped, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

A brilliant team who looked at my special request associated with my wife’s limited mobility and looking for a view and we were upgraded to a perfect room with porch and bed views. Such considerate hosts. The room, although a little dated, was comfortable and had everything we needed. The extra large bed gave us a perfect sleep and when I had mastered the air-con we also had a room at the correct temperature. Recommend for short stays.
