The Lobby & Bar area was wonderful, as was the courtyard during the day. Rooms very clean, staff friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is perfect, right on the corner of M street and walkable to many stores, restaurants, coffee shops.

The Fairmont Hotel Washinghton Was just amazing, I can’t explain how the beauty and everything was just perfect there. All the staff at any area was so kind, ready to help, Breakfast, perfect, Food High quality, very exceptional architecture, perfectly clean I never see something like that. There are very organize, I just fell in love with this hotel, Yes definitely have to go back there. Thank You Fairmont teams, thank you for your welcoming and your hospitality that mean a lot to me 🥹🙏🏼♥️

Everything… Clean… Smells amazing… Great food and staff! They also have comfortable beds and amazing rooms in general. The valet is amazing, and the location is close enough to the fun, but away from it enough to have a relaxing experience!

This hotel is beautiful and serene, and our double room was very comfortable and spacious and well-soundproofed from outside noise and adjacent rooms. Bathroom and shower were great. Decor was updated and tasteful. Foggy Bottom is a lovely and quiet neighborhood, walkable to restaurants and the metro without feeling touristy or too in the thick of things.

The hotel was beautiful, clean, in a great location great service and excellent maid service. I enjoyed the comfy beds and spacious rooms and balcony view of the courtyard. Everyone was extremely helpful and polite.

I stayed for a week as I had a conference at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. I would highly recommend staying here. It's an easy walk to the conference centre (10 minutes). It's also right next to the Metro Center metro station which is so convenient. The hotel is also a close walk to the White House, National Mall, the Smithsonian museums and plenty more. Macy's is in the same block and there's a Walgreens very close as well. Very convenient for everything. The hotel itself is excellent, really clean rooms, and quiet rooms (although mine was away from the elevators, which I understand can be a bit noisy if you're staying near them). Everything I would expect from a Marriott. Bed was comfy and even though it was 100deg outside, the room airconditioning coped well. Daily cleaning and fresh water bottles each day. The hotel staff were excellent. I had an issue with my laundry and Nadine and the front desk staff were so helpful in sorting out the issue - thanks Nadine!. And the staff at the Spotted Zebra were also very friendly and provided great service (shout out to Andre and Robert). Food at the Spotted Zebra was great. Really handy having Starbucks on the ground floor, however there's also great coffee nearby. And so many good restaurants in the surrounding blocks. Overall, highly recommend staying here for the convenience, the quiet and clean rooms, and excellent service.

I do consider myself a bit of a hotel snob. I am hoping for comfort, politeness, clean and accessibility. The Washington DC Marriott Metro Center has all that. The rooms are modern, clean with housekeeping daily !! They have a Starbucks for your morning coffee before you walk a couple steps to the “Metro” subway. If you’re new to DC and are absolutely clueless on how the Metro works all you need to do is tap your “credit or debit” card and you’re in and on your way. (I learned that from the front desk). This hotel also has a great lobby, a restaurant (that stays open until midnight) and they’ve got wonderful food along with great bartenders and servers. If it’s just a little snack or some Ben and Jerry’s you might desire next to the check in counter is a little 24 hr store with items you may need or forgot. This hotel is three blocks from the White House and only blocks from most of the famous museums and galleries you may want to visit. Lastly I like (and long for) manners, good service and politeness. The Marriott Metro Center has done a wonderful job at hiring very nice helpful, knowledgeable and friendly team members. From Tyler when I checked in who was so helpful and friendly to my room’s housekeeper Laura EVERYONE was so friendly and helpful. There are SO MANY places to stay while in DC. But the DC Marriott Metro Center is where I will be staying in my next trip to DC. Thanks for an awesome trip !!

I loved how the lobby was expensive and cozy at the same time. I loved the lobby staff, the door hop took my luggage outside from the car. He brought my luggage up to the desk to check in. He stood by till i got to the desk. The staff offered me this lemon water as they checked me in. It was supper quick and i was off to my room. The process was fabulous and quick to check in. The room was spacious, luxurious, and comfortable. The view on the 19th floor was amazing. The restaurant was first class. I felt like I was rich, and the pancakes were amazing and the breakfast was a tad expensive but so worth it. For the service I received the price is well worth it. I mean the food was handed off to me by the manager. The woman who took my order she was on point and made sure she had my order and even had food suggestions to try. The oatmeal was some of the best.

Four stayed. Two teens and two adults. Two king beds. Check in people were super nice. You can only valet. No self parking. The valet is not run by Marriott. The restaurant food was good. But, expensive! Waitress in the morning are so kind. Free apples in the pool/gym. Kids loved the pool. They had balls and floaties for them to play with. I thought water was chilly. Beds comfy. Room dark and so quiet. Rm. 1150 and clean! Shower was extra small due to the soap bottles in the tile wall right where you stand. Crowds you into the shower curtain. Not enough towels for four people. Only 3. And only 2 wash clothes. Housekeeping came daily. Which was soooooo luxurious. Haven’t had that’s since 2019! We liked being right next to the metro.

Several of my sorority sisters and I had the pleasure of staying here during our National Convention, and we were thoroughly impressed. From the moment we arrived, the level of service exceeded our expectations. The food was flavorful and fresh, the servers were attentive and kind (Aundre was the BEST!!!), the rooms were clean and comfortable, the hot water was consistent, and the valet service was prompt and professional. Every detail, big and small, contributed to a smooth and enjoyable stay. It’s not always easy accommodating a large group, but the staff handled it with grace and efficiency. We truly felt welcomed and well taken care of. Highly recommend—and we’ll definitely be back!

Overall a very pleasing stay. The hotel security staff stand out as some of the most courteous and friendly individuals in the entire establishment. Housekeeping would be a close second. Front desk staff seemed generally aloof and while willing to assist didn’t feel the need to be particularly friendly about it. Location is convenient to many sightseeing opportunities and culinary delights, alike. We found the rooms clean, no bedbugs ( I always check) and well stocked with amenities and towels, etc. Bar staff at their in-hotel restaurant, Cure, were so unfriendly and intimidating to my wife upon her first stop there alone that she asked me to accompany her down for all future visits to the bar. I saw immediately what she meant when I was there. I had to be quite assertive about getting their attention to order drinks for my wife and myself. However, dinner service waitstaff was a whole different story. We only had dinner there once but our server was attentive and kind. Their gym was exceptional, with several top of the line machines available and with good variety.

From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the warm hospitality and the breathtaking beauty of this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every part of my stay was comfortable and memorable. Friendly, professional, and always ready with a smile – they truly made me feel at home. The hotel itself is stunning – beautifully designed with impeccable attention to detail. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and tastefully decorated, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Every corner of the property exudes elegance, from the lobby to the lounge areas, and the views were simply unforgettable. It’s rare to find a place where both the service and the setting are equally exceptional. I can't thank the team enough for such a wonderful experience. Driving 4 hrs straight from Ny- Dc; This 5 star hotel is the place to be during Easter week, the price I paid was a great deal including the breakfast plan. It was worth the spending , convenient, safe & quiet , indoor gift shop, Starbucks Gum. Walking distance to the Metro , Shopping, Restaurants, Church, Museums. The hotel is huge/ roomy/ spacey , awesome staff. There’s no game room/ arcade/Billard/ fooseball for the kids to keep busy, but my child meet 3 other kids and they played tag& hide and seek in the lower levels. I will definitely come again . I got to check in much earlier because room was ready before 12pm. Made well, very comfy , relaxing shower, modern room , up to date gizmos, building charging stations. Til next time!! .

I was there for a large business gathering, and the hotel blew me away. Everything was spotless and clean. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful with storing my bags while I ran the Rock n' Roll Marathon in DC. What blew me away the most, though, were the rooms. The beds were super comfortable, and the pillows were very good (I've noticed, in a lot of hotels, the beds are comfortable but the pillows stink. Not the case here!) There were cool lights under the beds that turned on only when you were walking around so you could see in the dark. The bathrooms were large and spacious. I felt so comfortable and cozy.

The location was excellent — very convenient to restaurants, shops, and public transport. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the quiet environment at night. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The location of this hotel is phenomenal. It is within walking distance of many different restaurants, shops, bars, and other attractions. The hotel also has a rooftop bar which was a perfect Saturday hangout spot for my large group. The food was delicious. The hotel rooms were perfect for my stay - very comfortable, updated, modern, and cozy. I will be back!

Hotel personnel were all very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful had all high end finishes, bed extremely comfortable, and was quiet. My booking included free breakfast which was a lovely continental buffet with option to order a delicious scrambled egg, cheese and herbs on toast. Fresh fruit was consistently being refreshed.

Great option for the convention centre, being less than 5 mins walk away. Some nice eateries and a CVS also very conveniently close by. Had a corner room which was very comfortable, spacious, modern and surprisingly quiet. The floor to ceiling windows made it lovely and bright. Housekeeping was excellent as were any of the team I spoke with the reception desk. A colleague I was traveling with did try the breakfast and said they didn't feel it was worth the price however with decent options close by I'd recommend trying outside the hotel anyway (great bagels next door). A slight note of caution - Ciel on the penthouse level is a bar who are a separate business to the hotel but you have to enter via the hotel lobby and who use the hotel elevators to get up and down. It's great that it's popular however it did cause noise issues for travel companions on higher levels due to music/balcony noise. My own room was on the third floor and I also got some noise from party goers leaving via the hotel lobby and staying outside the hotel doors talking, shouting, etc as you do when leaving a bar. I'd stay again if I needed to visit town for a convention but would try for a room on a floor 5 through 8.

My family and I had an EXCELLENT stay at the AC Hotel. We were visting for the game! The staff were super friendly and helpful!! The rooms looked very new, clean and spacious with a very nice view of downtown DC!! The Hotel is in a great location very walkable! You'll be near everything! Capital One Arena is right up the street from the hotel, a 6 min walk! Parking was very convenient and reasonable. We parked at the Safeway Garage which is right across the street from the hotel. Only $30!! We will definitely be back Asoon!

However I know space is limited in the inner city. Overall I would recommend your hotel. Thank you to all . Front door employees were really nice as well.

We stayed at this hotel for a convention my husband was attending. It was beautiful and convenient to anything you would want to do in DC. The front desk staff was very courteous and friendly. Our room was clean and very up to date in furnishings and decor. The beds were very comfortable. Shirlena was so attentive to what we needed in our room. Enjoyed the complimentary bottled water and she was always happy to make sure we had enough. She even took our remote for new batteries when I thought it may need new ones. We would definitely stay here again! We also went up to the rooftop restaurant for a nightcap and the view of the Capital was neat to see.

I spent a delightful 7 days at this property. Staff were helpful and friendly and accommodated my early arrival. Food in the restaurant is excellent. Property is located in a convenient walkable space to dining options of every kind and price point and is convenient to shopping.

The room was spacious enough and very comfortable accommodations. The bed was super comfortable and did wonders for my sore back pains. I had to work remotely during my trip and the internet connection was reliable to perform it. The staff was super friendly and helpful in clarifying all our inquiries, as well as also very discreet. Perfect location very close to Washington DC Metro system for easy access to all the city.

Really nice hotel and I felt reasonably priced for such a central location. The beds were very comfortable, and everything in the room was clean and in decent condition. The burger I had at the restaurant was very tasty, and the staff was very nice. I got there about 2.5 hours before check-in time but they were able to get me into my room sooner without issue. They also had a little shop with quick snacks that were priced pretty decently for a hotel. The wifi internet was free and easy to access which is always nice.

My husband and I booked a stay at this Hilton on a recent Saturday evening when we were in town visiting friends. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, from curb (valet) to curb (valet). The staff went out of their way to meet our requests about room locale, early check-in, etc. The hotel seems quite large. Our room was spacious, quiet and clean. The one slightly negative was that overall some things looked a little tired and needing some attention beyond the daily cleaning. For example, while our room was clean and spacious, I noticed that the metal "cup" on the closet door handle area was missing and I could not for the life of me locate the safe in our room. I never called the front desk to find out where the safe may have been hidden as we were only there for one night, but I do find it curious that I could not easily locate it. The one definite criticism I do have is that while there were only two guest in our room, there were only 2 bath and 2 hand towels to be found for us the bathroom. Again, not a huge problem, but curious that the large, well appointed bathroom was not stocked with at least 4 bath and hand towels.

From start to finish this was one of our best hotel experiences ever. We arrived by train well before noon and were able to check in early for a modest fee. A boon, after 15 hours in a sleeper car. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and well appointed. Bathroom had good shelf/hook/bar arrangements; a bigger deal than we used to think it was. The bar menu seemed standard but the fare was great and exceeded expectations. Breakfast was LOVELY. We only splurged on that once, but it was delicious. They were happy to store our luggage after checkout, which gave us a great final day on the hill. Location was perfect, easy stroll to Union Station. Definitely our first choice when we return to DC.

The staff was amazing!!! The restaurant in the hotel was delicious and quiet would definitely recommend trying the food and a great bartender. Staff from the doorman, bellhop, front desk, and housekeeping were all kind, welcoming, and helpful. Hotel was where clean and near for a older hotel with a very comfortable bed. I will stay there again!!

The hotel is spotlessly clean, housekeeping did an excellent job throughout our stay. The beds were very comfortable, and the location is fantastic: just a 3-minute walk from Union Station and within easy walking distance of top Washington museums and attractions. However, noise was an issue. Our first room faced the street and was too loud to sleep well. After changing to a courtyard-facing room, it was better but still not completely quiet due to a constant hum from outside. We had breakfast on the first morning - it was tasty but overpriced. There are better options in nearby cafés. Reception staff were polite and professional, but we didn’t quite feel the warm American hospitality - a smile would’ve gone a long way. Overall, a clean and comfortable stay in an unbeatable location, but light sleepers should come prepared.

The hotel itself is gorgeous. Modern design, cool glass elevator. My room was A+ clean, bed was super comfortable, shower was really strong. Although I didn't eat in the restaurants, I saw there were lots of people who did. The staff was EXCEPTIONALLY nice, from the front desk to the doormen, asked a few times verbally and by text how I was enjoying my stay, and helped me out with getting to where I needed to go. The hotel is very close to Union Station, and a short walk to the Capitol and all sights around there. Only about a 15 minute walk to lots of great restaurants on K Street. I will definitely stay at this Hilton on my next visit to DC.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at the Hyatt Hotel at The Wharf in Washington, D.C. over the July 4th holiday! From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, professional, and welcoming. The front desk staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and even gave us helpful tips on the best places to view the fireworks (Piers) The location is unbeatable—right on the waterfront with gorgeous views, vibrant restaurants, and live music just steps away. We loved being able to walk around the Wharf, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and still return to the calm and comfort of our room. Speaking of the room—it was modern, spotless, and very comfortable. It was on the smaller side, but well-designed and efficient, with everything we needed for a cozy and restful stay. While the pool area was quite small and there were no towels available, the view more than made up for it. It offered a relaxing escape with stunning panoramic views of the Capitol and the Potomac River. While you can’t see the fireworks from the rooftop, it’s still a beautiful and peaceful spot to unwind.

The staff especially Aurelia, Raymond, Cooly, Oj and Kia within the breakfast staff. They were always very friendly, welcoming and very hard working. Aurelia's 'welcome to breakfast' was lovely every morning. The house keeping and bar staff also worked very hard and the hotel was spotless. Reception staff were professional and nice. All staff were all warm and friendly even after working long hours and busy shifts. The food was good especially the flatbread pizzas and sweet potato fries and breakfast was nice and varied too. We loved the apple cinnamon breakfast tea and the breakfast salsa. The food and drink prices were very reasonable and the food was good, a lot of the nearby restaurants food was underwhelming for a major international city though my mother-in-law is an amazing cook so we are spoiled The Wharf was ideally located for all the sight seeing and Washington dc as a whole was exceptionally clean and tidy.

Went with my daughter and her friend to see a concert at The Anthem and wanted to stay on the Wharf. We were MORE than pleased with The Hyatt House. It was the most amazing location, right in the center of the Wharf and all of the restaurants and bars. The employees were friendly as soon as walked in and explained all of the amenities. The room was set up amazing, the shower was large, they had black out curtains which are a MUST when I travel. The bed was comfortable and there was a full size fridge in the room. The breakfast was one of the best that we have ever had at a hotel. There was nothing missing! The employees that were working the breakfast were super friendly and helpful. The whole experience was perfect and we cannot wait to go back!

Lots of nice pubs and eateries in the area - ranging from fine dining to budget-friendly ones. You will also find a wide range of good restaurants if you are okay with a 10/15-mins walk. I loved the location and the vibe. We travelled with two teenage kids and it was a good comfortable stay. Breakfast is really good, with helpful and courteous staff around. We had booked a family room with a capacity of 4 occupants and the sofa bed could be used for two guests. Housekeeping staff gave us extra pillows, sheets, and blankets. However, the sofa bed's middle section appeared to be sunken, causing an uneven surface - it wasn't drastically uncomfortable, it wasn’t perfectly flat, which made it less supportive. The room had a small kitchenette, complete with a fridge, dishwasher, dish washing liquid, stove, utensils, and cutlery. The room was NOT one of those rooms that are said to offer a partial view of the river, but we DID HAVE a partial view of the river. There's a CVS nearby too. Important point - there's no free parking space. You have to pay $65 per night for valet parking (you can take the car out as many times as you want) or $62 if you park yourself (parking charge gets added each time you drive in and out).

I stayed at Hyatt House for a 9-day work trip, and while the location and amenities were appealing, I want to provide an honest review especially since the stay was above per diem. Pros: • Spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms—perfect for a longer stay. • Friendly and professional staff who made daily interactions pleasant. • Secure elevator access, an on-site gym, and a beautiful courtyard added to the comfort. • Prime location with plenty of restaurants, scenic views, and walkability around The Wharf. Cons: • The pre-arrival email felt more like a warning than a welcome it lacked a hospitable tone and focused heavily on restrictions instead of welcoming guest. • The parking situation is terrible. It’s expensive, disorganized, and the loading/unloading process is chaotic, especially on weekends. The partnership with an outside parking company only adds confusion and frustration. • The included breakfast isn’t ideal for business travelers. It lacks variety, and the hotel should consider offering meal credits or alternative options for guests who prefer more flexibility. This could be a great hotel. The comfort, cleanliness, and staff are solid, and the location is unbeatable. But the parking and arrival experience seriously need improvement. Until that’s addressed, I’d tell others to stay with caution especially during peak weekends.

I had the pleasure of enjoying their breakfast. There was a wide selection of options, including fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, and various meats. The hot dishes were always served at the perfect temperature, and the ingredients seemed very fresh. The highlight for me was the made-to-order omelet station. The chef was friendly and prepared my omelet exactly to my liking. Additionally, the coffee was excellent, and there was a range of juices to choose from. The dining area was clean and well-organized, with plenty of seating even during the busy morning hours. The staff were attentive and quick to clear tables and refill items at the buffet. Overall, the breakfast added great value to my stay.

Location was perfect! We saw sights, had amazing meals, and made memories that will last a lifetime. I love the breakfast here! I come back primarily for it. I was also able to take advantage of the happy hour cocktail before dinner which was nice. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

The welcome from the reception staff was joyous! Very friendly. The room was large and clean. Lifts were fast. Breakfast was very well organised (friendly again) and tasty. Bar staff were pretty friendly and the food was very good. Not wildly expensive either.

Modern hotel in a convenient location. The staff were very nice and hospitable. The room (Corner Suite) was clean and well-equipped, with a wonderful view on the city. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. One of the few hotels in DC with a swimming pool

I and was genuinely impressed by how spacious the rooms are— it was like having two suites in one! There are two TVs, which made it easy to relax whether we were lounging in the living area or winding down in the bedroom. The layout is super convenient, with a cozy bed and a small kitchen area that separates the sleeping space from the sitting room—perfect for a little late-night snack or morning coffee. The bed? Ridiculously cozy. I didn’t want to get up. 🚲 As for location, it’s fantastic. We hopped on Lime scooters and were at the White House in just five minutes. It’s a great base for exploring the city, especially if you’re looking for comfort and convenience.

Pool was great and quiet !! Location by metro trains and busses was great. Staff were helpful. Great food in the bar was good value. Close to many cafes and restaurants. Rooms were large and cleaned daily. Tv connected to my phone. Was good for a solo stay for 6 nights. Safe area and lime bikes all over the streets to use. Bar was fun and pool was a great location on rooftop. Amazing clean hotel. Snack bar and office facilities like printer. Didn't use games room downstairs.

What a great experience at the Ven. The staff were very accommodating. Jesus in the bar couldn’t do enough for me and was great to talk to, very kind down to earth guy. Ask him about his home Peru and he lights up even more. The food in the main restaurant and bar was also very good. Espresso Martini was on point. The guy guy on main reception that looks a little like Jesus (sorry but it’s the hair dude, and I’ve forgotten your name). Was also great to talk to and helpful with some great advice etc. the room was very comfortable and the bed was awesome. Great night sleeps. The pool on the roof was also a lovely touch to unwind in after a busy day sightseeing. The staff up they need more training but were helpful. The hotel is located right next to DuPont Circle metro for easy access to the Mall/ main sights in DC. However I liked to walk a lot, 45 minutes walk to Washington Cathedral. About 1 hour to the White House. DuPont Circle neighbourhood has some great food outlets and bars, so good for easy nightlife. Beautiful old world charm at times I thought I was in Europe. Lovely mixed of colonial Georgian and later Victorian homes. Very safe to walk around at night. All in all can’t fault the place and will return when I’m next in D.C. Thank you all at the Ven for a great experience, I’ll be back.

Comfortable, clean, very close to Metro, seemed safe, pool had great view and was amazing in the mid July heat of DC, free book, library, bar, restaurant, play room, exercise facility, tea room. Sleek modern look. Great smelling toiletries. Totally functional bathroom facilities. Glasses of water available on main level. Cookies and lemonade that was fresh tasting in afternoon.

We had a great time at The Ven. The location was perfect for our girls trip, walkable to plenty of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the farmers market on Sunday and lots of people out and about in DuPont Circle. The staff at The Ven was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were greeted with champagne in the lobby every day and they gave us some great recommendations for places to go in the city. A special thank you to Cookie at the front desk for being so welcoming and helpful. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The rooftop bar and pool were nice and would have spent more time there if we had the weather for it! Would definitely stay again next time in DC

The hotel is lovely. The employees at the Ven made the trip absolutely wonderful. Helen, Cookie, Kamil, Negash and Faceel are some of the best. How a hotel has such a warm, welcoming and above average staff is remarkable. I didn't meet any of the housekeeping staff but, our room was always fresh and clean. We enjoyed the roof top pool (it was a summery September weekend) and the bar/restaurant area. The hotel is up the street from Dupont Circle. Restaurants, cafes and museums all within a short walking distance. We thank the staff at the Ven for making our trip so memorable.

Our 5 day stay at Residence Inn Washington DC National Mall was a superb experience. The room was spacious, clean, good amenities, everything worked well. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The breakfast-included service with a variety of freshly prepared coffee, eggs, waffles etc allowed my family to get on the go quickly and satisfied to start each day! When we return to DC this hotel will be our choice because it's location is ideal and the rooms are comfortable. Surely one staff member that we will never forget is Charles ( at the concierge desk). He was so very helpful at all times, he has all the contacts and orientations one needs. His friendly and respectful personality stands out. We could tell that he does his work with passion. Charles is an asset to the Residence Inn on E Street SW!

We (adult and 2 teenage children) stayed in a King Suite for the 3-day holiday weekend. The kitchen was immaculate and had everything we needed. The suite was lovely, clean and very comfortable for any of our needs (sleeping, relaxing, etc.) Breakfast buffet had something for everyone in our party. EVERY single member of the staff was friendly, polite, helpful, professional. EVERY single one. They all treated us as though we were old friends, happy to see us... even though this was our first visit. The location was perfectly convenient for all of our sightseeing plans. We were able to walk everywhere a fairly short distance to visit museums or see the monuments or just hang out on the Capital lawn for a concert. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel for a visit to our nation's capitol.

The staff was helpful and amazing. The security is tight. You have to have your room card for the elevator and it will only open on the floor you stay on, the lobby, the parking garage, and the pool and stuff. The breakfast was good and the staff is super nice at breakfast. The hotel smelled good and clean from the moment we walked in and our room was also super clean. We got the room with the queen and the little kitchen. The kitchen was clean and stocked with utensils and pans for cooking. The style is nice. The room stayed nice and cool and it was 90degrees outside. The metro subway is right around the corner. We could also walk to the museums and some of the landmarks. Very happy!

This was a really nice hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The pool was pretty nice. It was heated but not super warm. The shower needed some work. The water pressure was low. The breakfast was amazing. There was different choices of meat each day. In The coffee they even had cold coffee. The hotel was also close to everything that we wanted to do.

The hotel is in walking distance to the wharf where there is entertainment and a a plethora of restaurants. The hotel staff extremely helpful and very friendly. The one bedroom suite was spacious and the bed was beyond comfortable. The reason for the four stars was the ice maker only worked when plugged in and maintenance had to come and unplugged the machine in order for us to not hear the ice machine all night, not a big deal just a minor inconvenience. There was hair left from the previous guest in the shower and hair is my gag reflex. Other than that things were great, the breakfast menu switched daily which was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely be back.

The staff was amazing and upgraded my room because I stay there whenever I come to DC. I love the location. So close to everything- airport, train, metro and all the big DC sights. The resturaunt is absolutly delicious. Loved the bar happy hour.Down the block are many cafes and shops.The Darcy gives cocktails to guests in lobby at 5 pm. They also gave us bycycles which was a very fun way to explore DC. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Just a great hotel fun vibe at the Darcy.Even allows dogs!

The hotel is very elegant and clean. Grocery stores, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. Exceptionally kind receptionist(s). We appreciated that upon check-in we were specifically asked about what kind of room we'd prefer (upper/downer floor, quiet one, main road facing, etc.). We loved how spacious the room we were given was. The bar is great with good selection of drinks and snacks and a decent happy hour offer. Nelson is a very fun guy too, we loved the evenings, he was on duty. As a bonus point, I'd like to mention that we forgot a personal item in the hotel room that we noticed well after check-out, by which time we had already left DC. The front desk kindly offered us to send it after us to our residential address in Europe. We only needed to create a shipping label and set a pick up time. They took care of the packing and handed the parcel to the delivery person. We got it back safe and sound within a few days, so once again we'd like to say special thanks for it. :)

Staff was amazing! Friendly and helpful the only place of 3 that I stayed in DC this year where the bellman helped me with my bags s d always offered me water.. Rooms were clean. Bar was welcoming. Cocktail hour was fun.

We recently stayed at the Westin Washington, D.C. City Center for a family trip and were thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, efficient, and professional—making check-in a breeze even with a few early arrivals in our group. The location is perfect—central enough to walk or grab a short ride to all the major D.C. attractions like the White House, National Mall, and Smithsonian museums. We appreciated being close to restaurants and coffee shops, yet still having a quiet and peaceful place to return to at night. Our studio suite was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with two queen beds and a sofa bed that worked well for our family. The beds were classic Westin—plush and restful. Everything felt well-kept and thoughtfully appointed, including the lobby space which was bright, spacious, and a great place to meet up or unwind. The fitness center was larger than expected and very well-equipped. While we didn’t eat in the on-site restaurant, the service team was accommodating when we needed help with directions, transportation, or extra towels. Breakfast was made special by Sintu and she made the whole family. The front desk even moved our room to a better one when the pull out sofa didn’t operate well. Very happy and highly recommend!

This hotel is a hidden gem in the DC area. With so many hotels to choose from this one really stands out. First and foremost is the staff. Friendly front desk agents, accommodating bell staff and amazing servers in the restaurants. As a Platinum member we were automatically upgraded days before- which was a pleasant surprise. Hotel lobby is inviting and so comfortable. Those couches made you want stay all day. The bar has a great vibe and feel to it. Servers were attentive without being obtrusive. Restaurant servers were above and beyond. Abdul, Tigist and Sintu were all helpful and really cared that you got the food that you wanted. The rooms itself were well decorated and beds were comfy. No complaints there. Housekeeping obviously had done a wonderful job cleaning. Never had to wait for an elevator. The Westin is definitely a hidden gem amongst many hotels in DC. We will surely be back!

Staff was very pleasant. Overall a very quiet, mature and relaxing environment. The neighborhood was also quiet and well kept. Room was very clean upon arrival, I had a standing shower which came with the traditional king room, spacious bathroom. The lobby was very welcoming to guest. Received complimentary wine one evening. Housekeeping came by every afternoon. It was a pleasant stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this Kimpton (Banneker) in DC! This pet-friendly boutique hotel was quite good. The hotel is on a busy street, which was fine for us as our room was pretty peaceful. We found parking convenient w/ valet parking, with minimal wait times each time we used it. Our studio suite was spacious, quiet, and felt incredibly private—a perfect retreat after exploring the busy city. The room was well-appointed and the bed was comfortable, though we found the room a bit warmer than the stated temperature and kept it at 68°F overnight. As for the water pressure, it was perfect for us, with the option to adjust via a little lever if you prefer less. The staff were fantastic—always accommodating and quick to fulfill any requests we had for housekeeping items. We didn’t eat at the restaurant for dinner but breakfast was delicious, and the staff made sure our stay was enjoyable. We recommend this hotel, particularly if you’re traveling with pets. Great service, spacious accommodations, and a thoughtful pet-friendly approach made this a fantastic experience!

Wow! I was blown away by our recent stay here. The hotel has a very relaxing modern vibe. The staff were so friendly, up-beat, talkative and helpful. We checked in with Emma at the front desk. She was patient, attentive and was doing an amazing job with a busy lobby. Our room was spacious and clean with a great view. We brought our dog and had no problem finding areas to walk her. The free wine happy hour was a nice touch! The Lady Bird staff was friendly and helpful! We had breakfast the morning we were leaving and the restaurant and the manager and our waiter were superb. They made my daughter feel special and gave her a surprise at the end- chocolate croissants to take home. Lastly, Josie Forde, at the front desk, a true angel! I left a very expensive item in my room and when I called she took my info. and called me right back to confirm she had it and that it was secure in her office, she was so helpful in getting the item returned to me. We cannot wait to come stay again!

This is an exceptional boutique hotel. The room was bigger than most hotel rooms, very clean, and the staff was very courteous and attentive. The restaurant was fantastic The food was very good. If I come to DC again I will definitely stay here. I previously stayed at an upscale popular hotel which was very nice but this one had bigger rooms and being a boutique hotel the staff knew who you were everyday coming and going and were so friendly and helpful. It was off the main road so it was a little bit less traffic in front of the hotel and it made it easier to get in and out. It had a cozy seating area out front with fire pits and lush Landscape. You could also eat outside. I loved sitting out front in the morning having coffee and listening to the birds. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very clean, modern, spacious and comfortable room and bathroom. Do not understand why there were reviews about shower low water pressure since the shower water pressure is easily controlled by moving a lever. Superior service. Excellent breakfast. Mustafá and Essa were very courteous at the reception desk. Amenities such as complimentary water and morning coffee available at the reception area. Complimentary wine at 6:00 pm, which we unfortunately were not able yo enjoy since we were not back to the hotel at that time.

The hotel's location was excellent, so will allow you to walk to many easily. My room was spacious and clean, with large windows offering a view of the street. The king-size bed was especially comfortable, and the bathroom was also a good size. The valet attendant was very friendly and assisted me with a luggage cart. Due to health reasons, I had to modify my reservation, and the front desk staff handled it efficiently. While I didn’t use all the amenities, such as the bar or restaurant, they were available. The decor was modern and tasteful, creating a calm and pleasant atmosphere. Given the room size and parking price, this was the best value I found in that area of the city.

The staff was SO curteous and helpful. We really appreciated that! The hotel is very centrally located, right by the White House. The entire place was very clean, and the bar has a really great cocktail menu! There is a resort/amenity fee that is charged for each room, but the value for that was pretty great! We got credit to spend at the bar and two tickets for the moonlight trolley tour around DC.

I stayed at the Capital Hilton with my family, and we were visiting from London. The Capital Hilton is a superb hotel and is literally a few minutes’ walk from the White House. The hotel itself is very comfortable with clean rooms. The restaurant is brilliant with good variety of options, and we dined there twice during our stay. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. Our main contact at the reception help desk was Frank Poku and he was extremely helpful and made our stay at the Hotel enjoyable. I would give the hotel top marks, and I highly recommend Capital Hilton.

We spent a week at the Capitol Hilton. The room was spacious and we were comfortable. We didn’t have a great view- just the building behind us, but we were able to walk everywhere and get to the subway easily. The parking is worth noting. They have valet only parking which is just under $75 a day. I have a high profile vehicle and always need to check the garage height prior to booking. Their garage was 2 inches too low for me. They recommended that I park my own vehicle in a nearby garage. That worked out great for me. It was literally next door around the corner and half the price. They charge what I would call a resort fee each day, but they give you a credit towards their restaurant etc and they give you a Lyft credit, so it’s a wash. Their bellman near the elevator is very attentive and offers you water as you pass him. That’s great after a day of walking the city. They have a nice gift shop. The wait staff in the restaurant are fantastic. I enjoyed their breakfast menu. We didn’t have the buffet, but many people did. The elevators are quiet and quick.

I attended a conference at the Capital Hilton and was a guest for 2 nights. I was impressed! I requested a quiet room away from the elevators, and on a higher floor. They gave me a huge, beautiful, clean, and very quiet room. Gorgeous - with 2 beds, 2 closets, a sitting area, in addition to a clean bathroom, a huge tv, and a coffee/tea station. The meeting was on the 2nd floor, which could not have been more convenient. The hotel is located just a few short blocks from the White House and I also walked to the National Monument, reflecting pool, and other sites. The staff was FANTASTIC -- everyone from the person at the front door, to the front desk, to the cleaning staff. They truly went out of their way to greet me every day and to make my stay easier and better. It was freezing in the conference room -- freezing, as these things always are. I ducked into the gift shop and bought myself a beautiful sweater for $38! Bargain. I had a crab cake in the dining room - delicious. They let me check in a little early and out a little late. Truly, accommodating, friendly, and a fantastic room.

The hotel is very clean and conveniently located close to bus/train stations, and restaurants. There is a CVS next to the hotel and Starbucks/Chipotle just a block away. All staff are very nice, friendly, polite, and helpful. I felt very safe during staying there. The bed and pillows were very comfy! The s chop salad at the hotel restaurant is so delicious..my favorite. Highly recommended.

First time staying in DC and the experience was more than I expected. Hotel was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and everyone was amazing. Wasn’t aware of a big event happening at the hotel when I booked our stay but the hotel was pleasant. Traveling with my kids and they were happy, comfortable, and felt safe! Location was perfect for the Metro, sightseeing and great food options.

It is walkable to a lot of tourist attractions, as well as the train station, coffee shops, souvenir shops and restaurants. Our room has a view of the Washington Monument. Staff is helpful, room has a good-sized bathroom and the beds are comfortable.

Inviting from the moment you step in with nicely decorated rooms, fresh baked cookies, very attentive staff, ample breakfast in the morning, gym and heated pool. Bedrooms were large comfortable and clean. You are in walking distance to all attractions and only a short ride to the national zoo and cathedral. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from with Georgetown only a stones throw away Checkout was fast and efficient. Recommend this for families and also for a short getaway. Parking is best if use Valet. Experienced drivers. Garage close. No refrigerators in any of the rooms was missing for me. Smithsonian very close. Easier to walk than take metro. Can also use app. Breakfast kept Hampton Inn high standard. Breakfast area nice and comfortable. Room comfortable and quiet.

This hotel couldn't be better located for a Washington tourist stay. Compact, but contemporary, clean and with friendly staff. Rooms lovely, bathroom even better. Breakfast was decent, both hot or cold options. Staff so friendly and helpful. So glad we picked this place! Recommended.

Very close; 5 minute walk to convention attending; staff was extremely friendly and helpful at all times, Rooms were clean ( a little small ) but that didn’t matter much. Yes you pay for daily parking, but, you call them when you need to step out.. they bring the car to the front entrance.. and you bring it back for them to park. Included in the parking fee! That was cool especially when you’re on the run. Overall amazing stay and we plan to continue booking whenever in the area in the future!! Oh I didn’t mention the FREE BREAKFAST!! Kids were HAPPY! They opened early enough for them to eat before we walked over to our convention center. Make your own waffle maker, toppings, all the good breakfast food!

The location was convenient for major museums. The place feels safe, we had a convenient late night check in. All day coffee at the lobby was wonderful. The breakfast was included. It’s my 3rd DC visit and the breakfast at Hampton Inn is so far the best I had in DC.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. the room was clean and comfortable, quiet. Staff was friendly. large space to take breakfast or the bar (but crowded in the morning as it is a big hotel). Bathroom was ok also. a good value for money.

Our son lives in Arlington and this is becoming our go-to stay when we visit. It's a safe, clean neighborhood, a 10 minute walk to the metro (which we use almost exclusively), and walking distance to the Mall if you like to put in some steps. The hotel staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We love that the little convenience store has so many options and is self-serve. Convenient having Johnny Rockets right there, too, but also a short walk to Jinya Ramen 😋 and Whole Foods is just around the corner. Nice view of the National Cathedral from the roof top. Rooms are a little on the small side, but we never spend much time in them since we're always busy so that is never a problem. The price is right, the hotel is nice and clean, staff are wonderful, many conveniences, and centrally located in a safe area! Great place to stay, highly recommend!

Hotel is clean and conveniently located to my needs. Staff is friendly and professional. Bed and pillows are comfortable but the chair and sofa, not so much and had some stains. By myself do I did not need to sit there. Biggest miss was the breakfast at the in hotel restaurant-Johnny Rockets. Eggs tasted like powdered and toast only toasted on one side. Had to ask hotel staff to get a server to come out. So hotel is great, but I’ll get breakfast somewhere else next time.

Holiday Inn Washington Central is perfect. Walking distance to all the great museums and monuments and close to numerous great restaurants. Ambria and Jonathan at the front desk were super professionals, very helpful, and genuinely friendly. The rooftop pool is awesome with a great view and Vuk the lifeguard was very friendly and made me feel very welcome.

My go hotel to in DC! Always a great stay at this location in a convenient and safe area. Walkable to coffee and shopping. Clean rooms, friendly, helpful staff. Does have luggage storage if you arrive early. Id recommend staying here if you are traveling on business or a tourist.

The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated with all the modern amenities. Exactly as pictured. The hotel's facilities were top-notch, including the rooftop bar and gym. Although we did not get to breakfast— the staff ensured to let us know all the details to be able to enjoy it if need be. The location is also perfect— making it so easy to explore the area. I highly recommend for anyone visiting the area. It's the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience. I can’t wait to return

EVERYTHING! It is clean, it is new, it is modern, it is beautiful! The rooms are pretty spacious, the beds and pillows are VERY comfortable, the shower was great AND with awesome water pressure! They had thought of EVERYTHING the amenities in the room OMG they are REAL NICE! Chocolate on the pillow, earplugs, white sound machine, glass water bottle to fill up down the hall, etc. everything you could possibly wish for during your stay they got it. The staff were helpful, funny, friendly, professional! We only stayed one night and I regret it SO MUCH!!

Fantastic experience at Marriott Capitol Hill. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the service throughout the hotel was excellent. At the Ciel Rooftop restaurant, the food by Chef Jean Paul Poggi was exceptional, and I really appreciated his approachable and kind demeanor while explaining the dishes. He made the night fun and exciting for me and my wife. The rooftop ambiance was also perfect for a relaxed dinner. Truly memorable. Thank you so much!

We came for 1 night trip. I booked a standard room for me and my daughter. A week or two before the trip, I got an email from the hotel asking if I'd like to upgrade the room in case this was a chance. There were a few options. I picked the 1st one - $8 and forgot. Imagine our surprise upon arrival when I got a key and heard, "Welcome to your Presidential Suite." What!?!?!?!" It was on the 17th floor with a great view, a vast bedroom, a living room with a round table for 6, two bathrooms, and a jacuzzi. We were both excited. And despite having a chance to enjoy it all for just one night, we really did! I'm very thankful to Sonest Hotel for such a fantastic and unexpected bonus! It was my girl's first trip to Washington, DC, and she liked it to the Moon and back.

This waa an amazing recommendation found by my daughter. It was clean, smelled amazing, very inviting and welcoming upon arriving. The staff were friendly and attentive. The decor is very modern sheek. The room was very spacious and had this amazing mirror in the room. It was quiet with no sound concerns. I was so delighted I joined the Royal Sonesta reward club. We will be back!!

Location and Accommodation: The hotel is ideally situated in DC, offering a convenient and pleasant location, in walking distance to the Metro and Buses; surrounded by restaurants. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable, with cozy beds that made for a restful stay. We were also pleased with the thoughtful designs, in both the rooms and the seating area in the lobby, which provided a welcoming space to relax. Upon request, we were provided with a quiet room at the back of the property, which ensured a peaceful atmosphere throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly accommodating, always attentive to our needs and ensuring that our experience was as enjoyable as possible.

The property is in a perfect location for accessing most parts of DC. The facilities are clean and up-to-date, and the restaurant is modern and easy to have conversations in without being drowned out by other noise. Moreover, the best part of the stay is the staff: the front desk staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the restaurant staff is lovely, and the housekeeping staff is amazing. Our housekeeper even noticed that we had gone through the complementary water and left us more bottles.

The room was quiet, very clean, and large, with a comfortable bed and good quality furniture. It included a modern kitchenette with a breakfast bar; the kitchen had good appliances and was well equipped and supplied. The bathroom was clean and modern but rather small, without a counter for storing toiletries. The location is extremely convenient as it's close to four metro lines, which is a real plus. There are numerous shops and restaurants nearby. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby.

Spacious and clean. With kitchen that is equipped for cooking. Water pressure from the shower is strong which I love! Also, the bluetooth speaker built in within the mirror is lovely. Staffs are friendly. Hotel is pet friendly and there is extra charge which is amazing!

The room was in a great location - close to the subway stations and from the White House. There’s a decent grocery store (Trader Joe’s) around 15 walking, which was convenient. The staff were always present at the reception and helpful. Having access to a kitchen was also a big plus. Overall, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean.

We had a lovely welcome at the hotel. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We asked for a coffee machine and it was in our room in minutes, however the coffee in reception was so good we didn’t use the machine.
