Stayed for two nights on a mini vacation. The location was great just outside of Charleston but a short 7-8 minute highway drive to the downtown area. It is also very conveniently located just off the exit ramp. There is a family style restaurant right in front of the hotel with great food. The hotel staff were all helpful and friendly from the front desk to housekeeping. The complimentary hot breakfast provided was an additional bonus with lots of choices. The area around the hotel felt very safe with adequate lighting in the parking lot and night time security patrol. Our room was very clean with a comfortable bed and pillows and the shower was hot with good water pressure. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to any of my friends traveling to Charleston.

Property is clean, area is safe, and right off the interstate. Parking is free. Staff is nice and professional. Room is clean and bed comfortable. Room has a microwave and fridge. Complimentary breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold items. Restaurant next door is convenient. Short drive to downtown Charleston.

Clean & modern, friendly & helpful staff, delicious breakfast & snacks. Two restaurants are nearby without going back into the city. One of them, a home style cooking restaurant is in the same parking lot so you can just walk to it. Will definitely stay here again.

Room was clean, neat and ready for a stay. Plenty of wash cloths and bath towels, had tissues, water pitcher, cups, coffee maker with coffee, creamer, sweeteners, AND cups! Shower was a nice walk in with separate door separating the shower area from the bathroom sink. Had a refrigerator, micro wave, and an iron. Had a warm cookie ready upon arrive to the hotel, fresh coffee and popcorn already bagged!

I was delayed by snow from flying out of Yeager and booked this hotel as near to airport and had restaurant attached. Receptionist very polite, friendly and helpful, room was warm, very clean and comfortable, had everything I needed and more. Breakfast was included and worth having, free coffee/tea in foyer 24x7. Very impressed especially for the cost.

the place was clean and free of bugs. smelled clean. pool and jacuzzi were clean and In good shape. overall very happy I even received a rose for mothers day

Excellent location, extremely comfortable room & bed, large spacious room & bathroom and the jacuzzi tub was wonderful! Very very clean and I love that checkout wasn’t until noon!!

The room was huge.... would have preferred the Jacuzzi tub in my room but did get jetted tubs in bathroom and it was Great! The breakfast was very nice great variety!!! All in all it was a nice stay!!!

the pool and hottub was nice. the fitness room was awesome, I really enjoyed the Peloton bike!

This is a well maintained Hampton Inn, very near a large shopping mall, and within walking distance of a few restaurants. The front desk staff were all very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in Room 500, which was a quiet corner. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable although furnishings were a tad worn out. Breakfast area was spotless and the coffee was really good. We traveled with our two dogs. There is a pet surcharge.

We had a lovely stay at this Sleep Inn! The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was extremely clean. We had a king room with a sofa bed.. not sure if they were all like that, but the bathroom was so huge you could fit a rollaway bed in it with room to spare! Plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast was well above the norm for a hotel breakfast… plenty of hot and cold items, and the eggs were the best we have ever had for a hotel offering. Breakfast attendant was very helpful which we appreciated. Also want to add that Cracker Barrel was right across the parking lot (even if you don’t want to eat there, they have nice rocking chairs to sit in out in front!), and TGI Fridays was also walking distance down the road. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here overnight on our way to meet friends in Virginia the next day. We'd had a very long travel day and were tired when we got here late at night. Chris was at the desk and he was so friendly, warm, and understanding. He handled everything with a smile and got us to our room in quick time. The bed was comfortable and the room temperature was easily adjustable to our preferences. The only thing I didn't care for was that the sink was outside the bathroom, but not a deal breaker for one night. The shower had great water pressure, but was just a bit larger than a cruise shower and the shower floor wasn't flat and even. It was rounded and pitched to the side where the drain was. I actually felt like I was on a cruise ship since I couldn't stand flat. Again, one shower, not a deal breaker. Breakfast was good. We came down just before closing time. The lady managing the food section was very nice and polite and helped us get what we needed. We never felt pushed out because it was close to closing time. Hot foods - scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, biscuits/gravy, waffles. The usual cold foods were there as well - breads, cereals, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, fruits, etc. Check out was easy and again, the staff was very pleasant. I would definitely stay here again!

The entrance is a little tricky to find right off of the interstate — turn at the TGI Fridays and go up the hill! Everything else was wonderful—super easy check in—beds were clean and comfortable! The hotel itself is very quiet for how busy it is. It has a very safe feel. I’m certain they have a lot of repeat business—parking lot was full! But we still found a place and could come in a back door. It’s very convenient to a gas station. Pretty typical breakfast spread but someone there that was very attentive making sure it was taken care of. Overall the place even smells wonderful the lobby and the rooms.

I was greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was nice and very clean. Our room was clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff was very kind and helpful. Our breakfast was very good and lots to choose from. They had cookies and popcorn in the evenings for free. This was a very nice hotel. A great place and location for the price. I would highly recommend!

I booked a room at the last minute and was so happy with my choice! Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Clean, comfortable room. Hotel seemed to be pretty full, but it was quiet in my room and I slept well. Shower was big and had good pressure. Enjoyed a nice breakfast before I headed out. I would definitely stay here again.

Adequate hotel for overnight stay. Bed and pillows were comfy. Free breakfast was very enjoyable. They offered omelet type eggs, sausage patties and Turkey sausage links, potatoes, cereal/oatmeal bar with toppings, fresh fruit, milk, yogurt, juices, tea & coffee, fresh made pancakes, assorted bakery/pasty items. Hotel is currently undergoing a remodel of common areas. New paint and carpet in hallways. Sadly, there was no carpet in room and we forgot to pack slippers. The shower head was awful. It sprayed all over the place, no direct stream onto your head.

Had everything I needed for a quick 1 night stay on a long road trip. Convenient location with plenty of food options around. Check in was easy and the room was just as it should be. Clean, stocked, and comfortable. TV was a little glitchy but there was bad weather. Great breakfast! I was really impressed with the spread; eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, and pancakes! Such a pleasant surprise to start the day, coffee was good and they had to go cups so I was able to get back on the road quickly. I felt safe here as a solo female traveler. Plus they’re pet friendly! Great hotel for this price range, I’d stay here again.

The Excellent: the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in a hotel. Amazing! It was a California King which I liked. Plenty of pillows. The Good: Shower was beautiful, plentiful hot water, just Ok pressure. The shower head was very high on the wall. Good for tall people. The awful: Breakfast. Even though it was included in my room rate, it was incredibly disappointing. Dirty silverware, long delay in getting seated and getting coffee, (then no spoon to stir coffee!), meal was not prepared fresh, but certainly came from warming pans in kitchen. (Extra charge for fried eggs!) Only white bread for toast option and when offered a bagel, it came cold and without butter or jelly. Scrambled eggs were lukewarm, sausage was clearly precooked and light gray, hash browns were deep fried then left to sit. The bacon was the only redeeming part of the meal. Would be livid if I paid the menu price of $15! The unacceptable: only Coffee Mate for coffee in lobby. To this coffee drinker, that is a travesty. Powdered creamer in the room. Awful. All in all, I would stay here, for that heavenly bed! Pro tip: Do not pay extra to include breakfast. There are plenty of great places to eat in Morgantown. There are also great local and national chain places for great coffee.

I have stayed at quite a few hotels in the Morgantown area, but the Holiday Inn is hands down the best hotel. The location is great great (safe area) but what makes this hotel stand out are its employees. Kevanny, Enrique, and Jason were absolutely amazing and went the extra mile to make my stay exceptional with a complimentary room upgrade. The rate I had booked included free breakfast at the restaurant and again, the staff members there were fantastic as well. The room was clean, spacious, the bed super comfortable (just the right firmness) and - above all - very quiet. I'm a light sleeper, but I had no issues with that at the Holiday Inn Morgantown.

Friendly Staff, very clean, helpful even with travel questions. Perfect location and felt very comfortable and safe. Bed was comfortable and big. The bathroom was so roomy, and the shower was amazing. Fully stocked with hair products and body wash.

It was our first time to stay in a motel since initial Covid 19 concerns. I had surgery in Morgantown, so we had to be there early on August 8 and my husband would be staying that night also. We checked in and found it exceptionally clean with everyone wearing masks, hand sanitizer every where, and an exceptional restaurant on the premises. It relieved my concerns and found the hotel and restaurant were very accommodating. Hotel was quiet, across street from hospital, and convenient for our needs. Decor was calm and attractive. Complimentary coupon for breakfast and dinner. This hotel is also close to the stadium when football resumes

The hotel is very quiet and clean with a nice bar restaurant on the property. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had great hot water and pressure. Just a night on our travels but would definitely recommend. The property is an older hotel but it has been nicely updated inside and out. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I especially appreciated the comfortable bed, ample lighting, and thoughtful layout. The mountain views from the window added a peaceful touch to the experience. The room was also equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, which made it perfect for longer stays. The complimentary breakfast exceeded expectations—fresh fruit, waffles, eggs, and more, all well-stocked and kept clean. The staff overseeing the breakfast area were attentive and made sure everything was running smoothly. I also loved the indoor pool and fitness center, both of which were clean and well-maintained. I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn in Charles Town. Every aspect of my stay exceeded my expectations. Upon arrival I was greeted by front desk staff that were polite and Professional. They made me feel welcome and were genuinely happy that I was a guest. Check-in was very quick and efficient. I found that my King room very clean and was very large and spacious. The bed was well made and very comfortable, affording me a good night’s rest. The wi-fi was strong and worked well throughout my stay. The breakfast area was large and spacious allowing you to enjoy your breakfast without intruding on other guests. Breakfast featured eggs, sausage, biscuits, and gravy along with the usual cereals and muffins. This Holiday Inn also featured hot cinnamon rolls and the popular pancake machine. The breakfast attendant did a great job keeping the area clean and well stocked throughout the advertised time. There is a very large, well-lit parking lot in front of the building. This Holiday Inn is located just a short drive from the Hollywood Casino and historic downtown Charles Town. This appears to be a well-managed and well-maintained property that is very clean and modern. All the employees were very polite, professional and go out of their way to accommodate guests and make them feel welcome. I sincerely enjoy my stay and will return when I am in the Charles Town/Harpers Ferry Area.

The first impression was excellent. Clean and nicely landscaped. Mandy at the front desk was friendly and welcoming. The fresh lemon water and individually wrapped cookies were delicious. The room was very clean and well appointed. Rick, the shuttle driver was mannerly and helpful. He took us everywhere we asked and waited for us during a short trip to the store. Breakfast room was huge. Food was just fine for free. Thanks for a perfect overnight stay.

The breakfast provided included everything needed end our stay. Everything was delicious and the ladies that hosted the breakfast were kind, attentive and helpful. They went out of their way to provide a bountiful breakfast. Breakfast hours were long enough to allow a leisurely breakfast. Definitely our choice of places to stay while in Charles Town/Harpers Ferry area.

Stayed here in our way to a wedding to do some exploration at Harper's Ferry. Great location, excellent service and the best free breakfast we have ever had. It was nice to have a choice between firm and soft pillows, which were embroidered on the pillow case. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean. We had an katie with our room key but Mandy at the front desk, fixed it and accompanied us to the room to make sure. Everyone at the desk was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast had a great variety and they constantly refilled the items. Omlets, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, make your own pancakes, fruit, toast, bGels, muffinsyogurt, cereal, cinnamon buns, oatmeal, juice, tea, coffee, was available.

We stayed at the Tru hotel in Beckley on our way home from Hilton Head. Hotel was very clean. Rooms are very modern and fresh. Lobby and elevators were well kept. Really appreciated the hard wood floors in the hotel room. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was large for a hotel and well kept. We were on the highway side and we did not notice any road noise. Staff were very friendly. Gave us recommendations of places to eat, we ate at a local Mexican restaurant Campestre, it was delicious. We will stay here again next year on

This was our second stay at this property. It’s really kinda unbelievable really, everything was just great. CLEAN, basic, friendly staff - convenient right off the exit.We have 2 dogs and this is a dog friendly property. So much so, we brought in take out food and were able to eat in the expansive lobby with our dogs by our side - yes we asked first. They have a great basic breakfast, with actually fabulous coffee too. What a pleasant surprise to break up a long 11 hour trip traveling with 2 dogs. They even have some refrigerated items that you can buy in the lobby along with a common use microwave. They have a refill filtered water station to fill up your water bottles. Now the bathroom lighting could be better, but hey for one night it’s ok and the LVT in the rooms kinda squeaks when you walk on it, but again these are just minor items.

Coffee and tea available all day long. Filled up my thermos with hot tea before heading out. Room is somewhat small, but still cozy. Good breakfast. There are boiled eggs option, for those not wanting scrambled eggs. New River Gorge National Park is not far, so stop by if you have time to spare. Google for Wolf Creek Falls, WV for a hike with a view. Overall, perfect for what I was looking for.

We traveled to Charleston over Christmas holidays to be with family. It was our first stay at an Embassy Suites and we chose it because it was "pet friendly" and we travel with our small dog. Our overall experience was very good. Check in was smooth as was check out. Our suite was comfortable and spacious enough for two adults and a small dog. Lighting in the bath room was too dim. Hardly enough to shave by. Walk in shower poorly engineered as the on/off, hot/cold controls are directly under the shower head which means you have to step into the shower to turn on the water and then get out quickly while it warms up. Once that happened, there was plenty of hot water. Complimentary breakfast was adequate but the omelet maker was an artist! Kudos to "Jerry" who seems to oversee the parking on the 3-11 shift. He is a gem! Very courteous and friendly and welcoming. Overall, a very good experience and value for the price.

The to check in and out was hassle free and easy peasy. The room was large and spotless and the thermostat worked well. We had a cool view of the city surroundings. The lounge was great and comfortable. The bed was exceptional. We fell asleep in 5 minutes. It was quiet. The breakfast was top notch and had many options and flavors. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The space was perfect for my family of 6! The room was clean and the view from the windows and balcony was amazing! Comfortable place to sleep. My kids enjoyed the pool and the complimentary breakfast was a hit as well!

The Staff were very helpful and cheerful There are lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Breakfast was excellent with a great chef that makes perfect Omelettes. The lobby bar was fun!

We had a great stay in Beckley. Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet and spacious room. The Breakfast girl was very friendly and efficient. The breakfast room was bright and large. The front desk lady, who was great, I wish I could remember her name, gave us great recommendations for dinner. A lot of chain restaurants around the hotel, Outback Steakhouse, next door, gave us a 10% discount because we were staying next door. Great meal. We ate at two non-chain restaurants within 10 minutes from the hotel that were very good. We were in the area to visit the New River Gorge National Park, so this location was perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

Greatly enjoyed my stayed here! The room was very comfortable, quiet, super clean, with a great view of trees and sky (5th floor, back side of hotel). I was amazed at the scope of the breakfast offerings - eggs, meats, waffles (you make in griddle), yogurt and toppings, expresso coffee drinks (from machine but tasty), bagels, and more. And the breakfast room itself was spacious and pleasant. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. All in all I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this location!

I have stayed at many Best Western locations and this one exceeded my expectations! The inside is well maintained, freshly painted, well decorated, and clean. The staff were friendly and professional. The breakfast area is very large and the meal was well stocked. There were extras that other hotels don't offer, like tortillas, salsa, eggs and cheese to make a breakfast burrito, pumpkin spice waffle mix, fresh clementines. I was blown away by how top notch this hotel is and at a great price!

This hotel is a solid value in Beckley. We were greeted by friendly staff and had a well-equipped CLEAN room. It was quiet and the beds were comfortable so we slept well. We stay at this Best Western + on many of our trips to see family. The breakfast buffet had a number of choices as well. We will continue to make this a stop on road trips.

Nice and quiet. Mandy checked us in and she was super nice. Shower was great with good pressure and hot water! Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was a surprise, scrambled eggs and bacon and fresh waffles, and a 24 hour open coffee specialty maker with Monte and cappuccinos, etc., nice dining space. Would definitely go there again!

We stayed for a week while my daughter attended a camp at WVU. Hotel was convenient to the campus, hospital and football stadium. The hotel is pet friendly 😊. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and sufficient. Staff was so friendly and helpful!! The gym was subpar and the pool was closed but other than that, our stay was amazing!

The hotel was nice and quiet. Everything was clean and fresh. The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful upon check in. The breakfast options were great and the food was very tasty. I stayed here because I needed a reprieve from the hospital while my son was recuperating from a car accident.

The underlining is because: the business center works, the laundry room works, the fitness room works, the coffee in the lobby works, breakfast works. In short, everything you eagerly anticipate for your hotel stay — here at the Morgantown RI, you actually get it. Too often some things, or sometimes many things, just are not quite operational in hotels of late. We’ve all heard management excuses, oftentimes warranted because it’s so hard to get good, reliable staff. GM James has it knocked here. Every single staffer is alert and eager to help with any and everything you need to make your stay perfect. And that breakfast is terrific: delicious scrambled eggs, individual breakfast egg-sandwiches, bacon, potatoes, Chobani yogurts, breads and bagels, individual milk cartons (even fat-free, too!), oatmeal and all the toppings. Special thanks to Cameron who helped to have our room ready at our appointed time. A very good show here, GM James, take a bow!

The staff here was amazing. I called ahead to request a roll out bed because I knew we’d be arriving so late. They were quick to make sure the room was ready with the extra bed, extra blankets and towels, and they even had the AC on for us making it comfortable. The front desk employee, Haley, was friendly and helpful, even going the extra mile to help us find a garage for our car that started having trouble a few miles out from the hotel. The staff person helping with breakfast in the morning was cheerful and friendly, a she also helped to make our short visit pleasant. This is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in this year due to the excellent employees.

Staff is so friendly! Great location! Great breakfast! We came for a tennis tournament. Great location for the West Virginia university tennis courts. The breakfast here is better than any other similar type hotel. The person who in charge of breakfast does a great job. Sam at the front desk is a gem. So personable and helpful. The two others we interacted with were helpful as well.

This is a very nice property to stay at. We had a very quiet and comfortable stay. The staff were very attentive to our needs. It is very convenient to many restaurants and stores. The complimentary breakfast was great. The room and bathroom were spacious and well maintained.

The place was very clean, modern (futuristic even) with a great view at good value with a superb free breakfast, (including great coffee, at breakfast time) along with matching staff and room features, like a separate living space which we really enjoyed. Our room was also sizeable-large which made it seem even more luxurious and uplifting with wonderful features too numerous to mention.

Traveling on a motorcycle from Virginia to Vancouver, BC Canada, first day on the road. Dark skys and swirling winds forced us into the closest place we could find and SpringHill Suites was it. Good choice! The place is clean, mostly modern. Comfy beds, excellent shower pressure, free breakfast and friendly staff... couldn't ask for more! 5 stars!

Room was clean. Beds and pillows comfortable. Front desk service was excellent, friendly, and helpful. Close to I-79. Restaurants and shopping close. Mall was maybe 3 miles from the hotel. Overall, great location.

The staff was really friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and welcome! The breakfast was DELICIOUS!! The pool was clean and just the right temperature.

Love the location with great view of the mountains. My room was clean.and neat. The breakfast bar provided good coffee and a decent variety of food to have a snack to start the morning. My TV did not work and was promptly fixed. Happy and pleasant staff.

This is an excellent place to stay. The room was large, modern and clean. The bed was very comfortable, water pressure was good in the shower, and the hotel was quiet. We arrived at midnight and our reservation was quickly handled by an efficient and friendly front desk clerk. The breakfast was good, and the food area was also very clean.

This hotel is clean and has many amazing amenities. There are cookies, coffee and hot chocolate at check in. Theres always water available. There is a pool and a great breakfast included. The desk attendant was welcoming and very helpful. Our 2 queen suite was spacious and very clean.

Our stay at this property was very enjoyable! Great experience right from our check in, as we were greeted by a very pleasant front desk employee, who was very welcoming and friendly! I believe this hotel has just been recently renovated as everything was clean and new including our room, which was exceptionally clean! The only thing I might suggest is that the complimentary breakfast have healthier options. Thank you Holiday Inn Express, we’ll be back!

Quiet area, near restaurants and hyway. Room was spacious, with plenty of coffee plus. Cosy couch and desk. Very nice place to stay. Plus a buffet breakfast that was plenitful.

I spent the week here just after the recent renovations. The staff are amazing! The house keepers and front desk personnel are so friendly. Breakfast was something different every day along with the usual staples. The room was clean and spacious. I loved the new desk layouts and the chair was very comfortable. You really can’t beat the location here. Walking to just about everything you need and there’s a restaurant conveniently right next door. My favorite little detail about the room was literally a cheap little nightlight in the bathroom. When traveling with kids, I usually have to leave the bathroom light on and leave the door cracked open as to provide a little light in the room if anyone has to get up through the night, then light floods the room while everyone else is sleeping. It was just a nice silly little detail that I appreciate.

The staff was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Beds were very comfortable. Shower water pressure and temp was great. Most of the hotel renovations seemed to be completed. Though there isn't a closet, there are 3 hooks on which to hang coats/towels, etc. Breakfast was an average "free" breakfast. Kudos for the 24 hr coffee/hot tea station. Great hotel and reasonably priced!

Hotel is beautiful, clean, comfortable, easy to get into and out of, plenty of parking.The breakfast options provided were plenty, fresh and hot. Hotel staff were very friendly. I'm very pleased with my stay and cost involved. The only negative encountered was having to request clean towels several times before they were provided.

My family and I stayed here while moving our daughter into her dorm at WVU. Room was clean.....except for what appeared to be mold spots around the edge of the tub/shower. Beds were comfortable..staff was friendly and breakfast was tasty. Would probably stay again.

We are traveling back and forth to Morgantown to spend time with our loved one who is a patient at Ruby Memorial Hospital. This hotel is in very close proximity to the hospital, making it incredibly convenient. Our room was clean and comfortable during our stay. The hotel staff is very kind and welcoming. Gwen at the front desk is super, and Calvin, who takes care of the breakfast area does a wonderful job.

This hotel is convenient to visiting in Kanawha and Putnam counties. SUPER comfortable beds 🛌! Best I’ve ever slept in. The double queen room was spacious and very clean, with soothing, modern decor. Shower was good and the bathroom as a whole was bright and modern. I was slightly disappointed in the room service being canceled, but we’re in a COVID environment. The laundry facilities weren’t that great, with a single washer/dryer pair, and it was $2 per wash and $2 per dry, (quarters only); but functional. Breakfast was just okay, but included. Still, an upgrade from continental. If you’re looking for a clean, safe and comfortable stay, I DO recommend this hotel.

Passing through and needed a room for 1 night. Check is was quick and easy. Staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Shower had great pressure! In the morning, there are plenty of options for breakfast AND the breakfast area is clean and replenished often. We traveled with a dog and there is an area on the property to walk them. The area felt safe. Would stay here again.

We spent 5 days at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Charleston. The stay was wonderful; staff were very friendly, courteous, and willing to help with anything they could (directions, identify local restaurants, etc). Breakfast was excellent with options like waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, quiche, oatmeal, cereals, bagels, muffins, yogurt, juices, milk, coffee, and fruit. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. A small refrigerator, microwave and Keurig were in the room. The bath was also very clean with modern fixtures. We tend to be a little picky when it comes to hotels, but we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We have had a chance to stay in Charleston, WV in the past and this is our second time coming back to this city from Staunton, VA. In the past, we have stayed at the Marriott Charleston, but this time we decided to give Fairfield Inn & Suites Charleston a try due to the great reviews posted here. As a Titanium Marriott Bonvoy elite member, I felt that all my requests and expectations were more than met with this hotel. The hotel's team members were more than friendly and responsive. They were more than accommodating with my room requests and felt that everything went well. The breakfast was decent and follows the same trend as other sister properties. In addition, housekeeping staff was attentive and friendly at all times. Their one-bedroom suite is extremely spacious. Approximately 550 sq. ft., the suite separates a giant bathroom, living room, and bedroom as well. Compared to other Fairfield Inns that I have stayed in the past, I enjoyed having such a spacious shower and two hand sinks, making the room a great place to stay. In addition, the staff allowed my dog to stay with us and they were really kind to it. I definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely come back when I have to come back to Charleston, WV. I felt it is well managed and provides the needed accommodations for a short and long-term stay.

Although not a new hotel, it has been lovingly remodeled and perfectly met our needs. So many thoughtful features. Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water & great water pressure in the shower, thirsty towels, huge & modern TV. Our room was spotless thanks to Sierra. Lisa at check-in welcomed us warmly and gave suggestions for places to visit. Connie, the breakfast hostess was friendly and kept everything tidy and well stocked, dining room spotless, and still had time to visit. It is evident that Sierra, Lisa & Connie love their jobs and have been well trained in customer service. Although this hotel doesn’t have a pool, take your room key, go next door to the Holiday Inn, and check at the front desk. They will let you use their pool. Sweet!

Check-in was great. The front desk person was extremely welcoming, offering tips for nearby restaurants and friendly chatter. The good: Location. Right off the interstate, and surrounded by restaurants and stores. You can walk to stores for just about anything you might need Good A/C that kept the room very comfortable. Really like the suitcase "stands" with storage drawers underneath. Spacious Very clean and new Breakfast was delicious, especially the cinnamon rolls (yum!!). The not so good: Bathroom exhaust fan did not work There was no toilet paper holder The 2nd "room" had only 1 light - on the desk. No light on a switch or anywhere else in that "room". We booked what they called a 1 King 1 Bedroom suite, but found there was NO door between the bedroom and the living "room". The online photo captions even refer to two "rooms", which we feel is misleading. With no partition or door (or even curtain) between the living area and the bedroom, there was zero privacy for the bed"room" and it was really not two rooms. It was basically just an oversized single suite. We would probably stay here again, but would not re-book the same type of room.

Alex, at the front desk was very professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Joe the breakfast attendant was also very friendly. The food was excellent, there was a nice variety, fully stocked, and the area was very clean. Joe is a very dedicated employee. The room was very clean and the king size bed was very comfortable. We would stay there again!

Great place to stay! Close to a lot of restaurants, gas stations and stores. The staff of friendly and they have a buffet style breakfast. The pool was a little cold but we did get to enjoy it for 2 hours all to ourselves. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. I recommend staying here if you are in the Morgantown area!

The place was a bit odd, but in no way that took away from the experience. When you enter, there is a fairly large wall with apparent random chairs sitting about. Just odd. The room seemed too big for the furniture in it. That said, I had everything I needed. Pull out sofa was comfy, pillows were good, room and bathroom clean. I saw all the expected room amenities but didn't have need of them. The elevator door does squeak and a repair of that would be great, but even sleeping next to it, I actually barely noticed it a few times. Breakfast was great. Staff nice and helpful. *Suggestion - put the Lipton tea bags at the coffee/tea station*. <- Big deal. :) Less than 15 minutes from WVU medicine Ruby.

Great location, easy access from interstate. The front desk staff were friendly. Everything was clean and welcoming. Breakfast was great, friendly attendant on duty. Complimentary bottled water and coffee available. We will stay here again in our travels from TN to NY.

The staff is extremely pleasant and accommodating. When we extended our stay for another night, he brought the new keys over to our room. The owner is extremely pleasant and helpful. Accommodations were very nice. We had a fireplace which naturally made things very cozy. They upgraded us when we asked for a shower since my husband can’t get in and out of a tub. We also had a small kitchen which was convenient when our son and his wife came over. There are also 3 restaurants within the complex. Breakfast is included with the reservation. The owner, Kris, kept us updated on weather conditions since we were somewhat anxious, being from SC. We plan on staying there again in the spring when we visit with family with family in the area. We highly recommend it if you’re looking for something special. Across the street from a ski lift if you’re interested in skiing. The scenery is amazing.

We stayed in the Lodge section. The king + loft rooms are very spacious with many thoughtful touches, like ample hooks near door for hanging ski gear, little dining area (perfect for 4), microwave/fridge nook, heated bathrooms & tiles, & full size trash can. King mattress was very comfortable. Breakfast at the Inn across the parking lot was perfectly cromulent - scrambled eggs, biscuits, coffee, OJ, yogurt. Lodge section is next door to Pizza Slices, making dinner after skiing very convenient. Location steps from Powder Monkey lift was ideal. Loved the covered parking area. Our car battery died and Corduroy staff were incredibly helpful in getting us a jump.

The location is convenient. The service is good. Front desk and staff is friendly The room is clean and bed is comfortable. Will come again. Did not try the restaurant. Buffet breakfast come with the room is sufficient not great. The view is good too.

My wife and I stayed at the inn on the ground floor. Short walk to the lodge where the buffet breakfast was served. the we were steps away from the restaurant (which was quite good. I would say the best on the entire mountain), and the pizza joint as well as the bar/restaurant upstairs (which had its own food menu but you could order from the restaurant and the pizza place below). Just a few more steps out the door and you were at the head of the trails and the Powder Monkey chair lift. Perfect location. We loved the gas fireplace in our room. About a 5 min walk to the village area, ski rentals and shops, and main ski school area. There was a shuttle stop right outside if you had gear and didn't want to make the walk. Western Territory (hardest terrain) was right across the street. Only gave it one mark down on cleanliness due to a large white stain on the carpet. looked permanent so I am just being picky at this point because i cant think of anything else other than that. Overall it was a great stay. Its been over 15 years since i have been to Snowshoe so it was a shock to see how much has been added. I would definitely stay again.

Our family of four just stayed here for a ski trip and loved it. We stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite with a small kitchen and living room, which was perfect for hanging out in the evenings after a full day of skiing. Three restaurants on property (pizza place, casual dining, and higher end dining) and room service offered. Worth mentioning - some of the casual dining options/sandwiches are not available after 4pm, which leaves you with pizza or high end (e.g., duck and filet). Two of the sandwiches are available via room service after 5pm. Breakfast is included with your stay and is a limited buffet style, but good. Hotel is next to the Powder Monkey lift, which is very convenient if your group is comfortable with greens or above. If you need access to the bunny slope, it is less convenient. Either a short-ish walk (feels longer when you’re carrying all the gear) or a shuttle ride. Overall, great experience at the Corduroy Inn and would stay here again.

Spent one night in a feature king with whirlpool tub! I checked in online and only had to stop for a minute to show ID and get keys. The front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful. It was 402 at the end of the hall and was very quiet. I liked that I could look out the window and check on my vehicle in the parking lot. It looked clean, smelled fresh, and the tub was fantastic! There were plenty of towels and pillows. The bed was comfortable and the pool was open and appeared clean. There was a family with multiple children who were continuously jumping and diving even though it clearly states all over that it isn't allowed. Our towels, shoes and belongings got soaked from the jumping and it made the floor around the pool (ceramic tile) covered in standing water and dangerously slick. I would've reported it but it was close to 11pm and it was closing anyways. Also, in the entire pool area there were only 3 chairs. I was unfortunately unable to connect to the WiFi with neither my phone or computer, but the front desk offered to help if I would bring down my laptop. It was not necessary during my 1 night stay, so I skipped it. I did not try the breakfast buffet but it was available and the setup looked nice. Checkout was simple - I awoke to a receipt slipped under my door and all I did was drop the key cards in the basket at the front desk on my way out. I would not hesitate to stay at this location again and would recommend it to anyone traveling through.

Charleston, WV is about the halfway point on a multi state drive I make a couple times a year. We look for clean, comfortable, and affordable hotels, and easy access to the hwy for an overnight stop. A bit of a challenge in this area in our experience. This hotel’s Cross Lanes WV location is perfect for my Southbound route. Gas stations and adequate restaurants nearby (good enough for a travel night e.g. Cracker Barrel or Bob Evans). We opted for takeout from nearby Cracker Barrel. I have stayed in this hotel several times over the last several years. This stay was the first after they completed their renovation. They’ve done a nice job. Hotel feels fresh. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was better than average for this tier of hotel. All of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. We got exactly what we needed from this stop. This will be our go to option when stopping in this area. I used my IHG app to make the reservation. Glad I did as the hotel seemed full on a week night. My 5 out of 5 is in the context of this tier of travel hotel.

Wonderful hotel stay. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Comfortable bed and pillows, which is not always the case at many hotels. Breakfast was as good as many restaurants and had a good variety. Nice location as well - away from the direct traffic, but just around the corner from stores and restaurants. Would stay again.

Traveled to area visit my daughters family. Everything was very clean. The beds were comfortable. Staff was very nice and helpful. Enjoyed the pool area. Hotel is close to lots of shopping, casino and restaurant options. The breakfast buffet was incredible with fresh options. Will stay here again in the future. Free parking. Very good price compared to other hotels in the area. You won't regret staying here.

Not sure why this hotel would be traveler rated 3 out of 4 for Cross Lanes. We did a last minute check in as we were going back home to Virginia. We felt very welcome here. Staff members that we had interaction with were friendly and professional. The outside grounds were clean, as was the hotel and our room. Wi-Fi was fast and stable. They also offered a hot breakfast with a very friendly dining room host. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, gas stations as well as last minute shopping needs. This hotel is accessible right off I-64.

The hotel is easily accessible from the interstate and in a great location. Numerous shopping and restaurant options surround the hotel property. There is plenty of complimentary parking. The hotel grounds and common areas were clean and well-maintained. All of the staff members I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, quiet, and clean. I did not take advantage of the complimentary breakfast option so I have a basis for feedback. It was a great experience from start to finish and I will select this property when I am back in the Wheeling area!

We have stayed here the last few years for our week in Wheeling and have found this to be one of the best hotels in the area. The hotel is in a convenient location in the Highlands development with many stores and restaurants in the immediate area. Hotel was well maintained and the room and public areas were spotless. The room had nice decor. Staff was helpful and friendly throughout our stay. I don't expect a lot from the free breakfast but this one was above average and the assortment was changed each day of our stay. This is our choice when in the Wheeling area.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, what else can one say about a motel. Breakfast was good and filling and free. Ate dinner there on first night, at hotel restaurant. Food was good, place was noisy however, they need to put up some noise absorbers in the ceiling or curtains to dampen it. The four of us had a hard time hearing each other as its a bar./restaurant type of place. Server was great and fast. Price was reasonable.

We had a nice stay. The check in went fine. They have a restaurant attached and went there for supper. It was good food. We had the fried green tomato blt. The pool was very warm, which was a very nice surprise. The halls were not lit well. Our room was nice and pretty clean. The bathroom had long black hairs on the floor and in the tub - not sure if from the cleaning person or what. The breakfast was decent. The coffee was very weak so that was disappointing to all of us as we like coffee to taste like coffee. The waffles are always a favorite and they had 3 flavors to choose from. They offered scrambled eggs, sausage links, and the normal cereal, toast, etc. It's nice to have that free breakfast included with our hotel stay. Overall it was a good stay and we slept well.

The cleanest of everything. The restaurant that was right there and the ice cream shop was a big plus. The room was a nice size with two comfortable beds. Plenty of pillows on each bed. Nice hot shower. The staff was extra friendly and very professional. They took time to talk to you and make sure we saw everything we wanted to see and do. This was the most relaxing 4 days that we both needed.

Staff was friendly and very happy to move our rooms. White Horse Tavern restaurant, collocated with Clarion was excellent. Everything I saw looked fresh or well maintained. Vet comfortable beds and well furnished room. Very good value and breakfast was free and quite comprehensive
