North Coast Escapes is such a lovely, cosy and clean place, with everything we needed to have a great time exploring the surrounding countryside ! Perfect place for our family of four to unwind with the jacuzzi after visiting all the beauty spots up to Durness, including the Flow country with its bogs, and the inner roads (A897) where we saw lambs and red deer roaming 😍

Cosy cabin, modern and clean with pretty much everything you would need. Was warm and had a fresh smell when we walked in. The shower was amazing, it was so powerful, not used to that kind of pressure which was awesome. Hot tub was amazing even on a night with gale force winds! Had a great sleep and even with the high winds slept soundly and was nice and warm all night. Wish we stayed longer and planning coming back again for a birthday treat. The chocolates were a nice touch thank you so much.

Absolutely everything, what an amazing little spot to go for a getaway!! I booked it for a quiet birthday weekend and both myself and my partner loved it! The hot tub was amazing and the view of the stars once it was dark was awesome!! The chalet was clean, welcoming and very comfy!

Clean, peaceful, lovely room with fab views of the sea. Good shower. Comfy bed. Grab and go brekkie was ace and more than we expected and was a welcome treat which we used on the nearby beach. Our host was fab and able to answer any queries. The local was v good food and beer wise and staff were friendly All in all 10 / 10 and would recommend to anyone doing the NC500 or just visiting this beautiful area

Modern looking property really comfortable, clean, warm cosy feel with lots of extras available for all to share. Nice touch with bean to cup coffee machine in the shared kitchen drinks area next to the lobby. Under floor heating in rooms down stairs very welcome. Modern clean en suite facilities. Ample parking on site and outside seating area great to have when weather permits.

The building and our room were in excellent condition, and were extremely clean & comfortable. The room was large and bright, despite only having a relatively small window over the bed. There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room, but these were provided in the communal hallway, along with a small utility area where you could wash up. There was a coffee machine in addition to a kettle & various tea bags, & fresh milk. There was a self service continental buffet breakfast which was excellent. We didn't see any staff, but that wasn't an issue. We'd definitely stay again if in the area.

Wow...what a fantastic 'find', perfect in every way, so sad we were only booked in for 1 night. If I could give it 11 out of 10, I would. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped, thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. There was even milk, beer and biscuits there for us on our arrival (plus the usual coffee, tea, sugar etc.) It has it's own parking space around the back and in a quiet residential street - perfect for families. Well done!!

This was such a welcome stop on our trip! Clean, fresh and comfortable. It is a little haven that made us happy from the moment we walked in the front door. The host was so welcoming and communicated easily. Everything was in order and she even left us some milk in the fridge, etc. It really felt like a friend had invited us to stay. It was so nice having the 2 bedrooms for such a reasonable price. The lounge was also comfortable with a nice television. The parking spot behind the house was a real bonus. Overall, we could not have been happier.

Whole town house in typical old Scottish neighbourhood. Very well appointed inside. Included breakfast. Fresh milk delivered to door! 2 welcoming beers in fridge. We had a good chinese take away meal, but you could cook your own meal if you wanted too. Quiet neighbourhood. Self check-in was easy and well communicated. Lots of helpful info inside.

Amazing Stay. Very clean house, cosy, comfy. Lots of thought has gone into the house also, which makes it a much pleasant stay. Very impressed. Even a nice little touch of tea cakes, caramel bars and bottled water plus milk in the fridge and free cereal. Thank You.

The location for the NC500 is perfect, about 300m from the main road on the NC500, yet with uninterrupted views to the sea and the rugged, picturesque Caithness coast. Our hosts Sandra and Sandy were very welcoming hosts and made us genuinely feel at home. It is a very secure and happy environment. I could talk with Sandy for ours (we almost did!) and his son Graham, the farmer there, took me out in his latest stock car over his fields, for an experience to remember! 🙂 He's got great driving skills and instincts. The bed was very comfortable, the room large and bathroom clean and modern. Breakfast was exceptional - you had a full choice of everything good and Sandra also brought out some extra specialities: oat cakes and cheese. The ingredients were good quality, very well cooked and presented. We had a nice view of the coast from the dining room window. It's a peaceful place. We look forward to returning one day.

The house felt like home when we walked in and our hosts were very welcoming. We engaged in conversation long into the night. Our room was very spacious and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in. Breakfast next morning did not disappoint, the conversation continued as our host prepaired breakfast. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay at "The Antlers"

The Antlers was quiet and comfortable with amazing views - an excellent base from which to explore the North of Scotland. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Wonderful breakfasts - thank you.

Lovely stay in one of Mackey’s attic rooms- room36. Noisy from 6am as I think we were next to the hotels water tank and it gurgled most of the evening and started again early morning. However room was clean with top quality bedding and new fluffy towels and even included a decanter of sherry! Bed was really really comfy! Breakfast was delicious- breakfast bar plus granola and fruit highly recommended as was haddock. Friendly waitress and manager attentive ! Overall lovely but was double the price of neighbouring accommodation. Not sure I would pay this amount again

We stayed in an apartment only steps away from the hotel. The kitchen, living/dining room, bedroom and bath were all spacious and comfortable. Breakfast at the hotel was included. We also had dinner at the No 1 Bistro at the hotel both nights and were happy we did. The food was delicious and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The location was great for walking and free on-street parking was very convenient. I would recommend the property and would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was easy to find. The room was comfortable and we had a great view of the river. It was central in Wick. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel’s restaurant - No. 1 Bistro - which is located on the shortest street in the world. Very convenient for travelling to John O’Groats.

The Camps Bar is located near the town centre and there is free public car parking a short walk away and I had no issues leaving my car there for my two night stay in a Standard King Room. I was greeted at the front door by Callum who was really friendly and knowledgeable about things to do in Wick and the surrounding area and he showed me to my room. The room was spacious and clean and possessed all the amenities as advertized including an ensuite shower room and the shower was very good and roomy when I used it during my stay. I didn't spend too much time in my room as I was out and about for most of the two days but it was certainly adequate for my needs. To my initial disappointment the bar was closed for the duration of my stay but this ensured that there was very little noise in the evening ... obviously I can't vouch for that tranquility being maintained on the evenings that the bar IS open!

The location was central and convenient. The owner was very helpful and provided a binder of information with local attractions and restaurant suggestions. The Indian restaurant next door had delicious food! He also gave us interesting information on local history. The building is an old one and full of character. We had a corner room with a view of the harbour. The room and bathroom were very clean. We would stay here again.

The property is extremely central, with beautiful views of the surrounding buildings and of the sea. Everything’s close by and easily accessible by foot. The staff are lovely and extremely helpful, they’ll give you some amazing recommendations of places to eat, sights to see on your stay and welcome you down to join them at the bar during the evening. It’s a great place to meet the locals and get a proper Wick experience. The rooms are cozy, and spacious, with everything one might need for their stay. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels and this is by far my favourite.

The room was large and beautifully decorated, with an extremely comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious, and the shower had excellent temperature and pressure. Everything was clean, and the staff were friendly and very helpful, providing great local recommendations. The bar downstairs was a lovely spot to relax. Parking is available just across the street, with plenty of spaces. No real negatives, though there are quite a few stairs to be aware of.

Comfortable, clean double room although traveling solo. Tea, coffee, bottle of water, T.V. + wifi in the room. Personal toilet + shower across the landing. Enjoyed an overnight stay here and my short trip walking around Wick. A couple of beers in the evening and a good breakfast the next day in a nice, big, very clean nearby Wetherspoons

Another 10/10 for the Norseman. Large bathroom with a big shower, comfy bed, sockets near the bed for charging phones, and a really friendly young chap at breakfast who was attentive to all the people in the breakfast room, including coming back to check I hadn't forgotten to request toast.

Very friendly owner who waited up late for me to arrive! Room was beautifully clean and pleasant, and another staff member provided coffee in the morning. The lounge area is very comfortable and every staff member was friendly, professional, and looked like they enjoyed being there.

Friendly staff, very enjoyable food.. both bar meal and the good quality and wide choice for breakfast. Modern large walk in shower with good water pressure and lots of hot water. Fluffy white towels. We asked about a taxi to the station and manager immediately went and booked if for us.

Nicest guide we’ve ever seen in a bookings stay. The family was friendly and helpful in planning our day of sightseeing and preparing hot, healthy traditional Scottish & gluten free meals. We enjoyed the littles going out to the chicken coop to collect fresh eggs for breakfast. Nicest family we have ever met in a bed & breakfast. They really went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Large shared lounge room was wonderful for games, reading or watching TV. Perfect location for touring on the NC 500. We sure appreciated the hospitality.

What a fabulous place. The hosts were friendly, the food was amazing & everything was welcoming & comfortable. For dinner we had the baked potato & lasagne which were delicious. There is a wide selection of drinks - the NC500 gin was very tasty. Breakfast was amazing - we had a cooked breakfast & pancakes. The pancakes are amazing - you won't need to eat for the rest of the day. Everything about our stay was outstanding.

We had a wonderful two night stay in an exceptionally beautiful B&B, in a themed double room with it's own balcony and outstanding modern en suite. James & Kirsty were fantastic hosts and really friendly and attentive. We were blessed as they offered a very comprehensive menu of 'hot' evening meals for guests as well as bar drinks. We can vouch for the 'mince & tatties with seasonal veg' and 'special burger', extremely reasonably priced too. Breakfast was delicious too with their own eggs and plenty of options. Kirsty very kindly prepared us breakfast sandwiches for our long trip home a bit earlier than usual which was so kind of her. There was a guest lounge with comfortable seating and a pool table and other board games available too. No hesitation in recommending this B&B to anyone, it really was outstanding! 😊

Acarsaid is a lovely place to stay along the east coast of Caithness. We stayed two nights and were amazed at how much there is to do around the area. The hosts were very knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. James and Kirsty greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home - like part of the family. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and filling. They even offered a really nice dinner that guests could order ahead. This was a huge help since we were arriving late. Best of all, the hosts were so friendly and helpful, always looking out for us to ensure our stay was great!

The property is perfectly located for a little exploration of Caithness! So quiet and peaceful with lovely views down to the sea. Kirsty and James were so helpful and friendly, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and there was clearly a lot of thought and effort put into every element of our stay, from the super comfortable beds, amenities in the rooms, and absolutely delicious breakfast, to the beautiful, locally-sourced cheese and meat platter we were lucky enough to try. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay again!

Quiet location, cosy but had all that we needed for a comfortable stay and the shepherds hut was beautifully maintained. Debbie was so welcoming and helpful. We loved the little extras like breakfast cereals, teas, coffees etc . Good to spend a couple of nights and get an opportunity to relax during our trip.

The location was great, peaceful and quiet. Debbie was very friendly and welcoming. The pod was comfortable for a couple plus dog and was well appointed including breakfast goodies and milk. The separate wash pod was also well designed and laid out.

The pod is warm and cosy and I was extremely glad to be there (should have been camping!!). There is a lovely shared kitchen which is cosy and well equipped. There are shared toilet and shower facilities which are spotless. The shared facilities are only for a couple of the smaller pods.

Jenny was incredibly welcoming and friendly. She was so nice to our children. The pods were very clean and spacious. Beautiful location, very peaceful. The toilet and shower room were very well kept and as they were separate it made it easier for everyone. In the kitchen there was a shelving unit with books and I noticed there was a log book.....somewhere all the guests could leave a message about their stay and it was so lovely to see all the people that had stayed before us. We would definitely book to stay again in the future

Jenny the owner was very welcoming and friendly and the bonus of being able to see day old calves running around just outside the cabin was lovely ! I was a little dubious knowing we were using sleeping bags but wow what a comfy night sleep we had ! So peaceful and the cabin was lovely and warm, our dog loved watching the comings and goings of the working farm. Taking the option to use the fire pit and cook the homemade burgers on offer was just wonderful and then having fresh eggs to make butties in the morning was a treat, delicious ! Really couldn’t fault anything !

Location perfect Jenny and James were fabulous hosts ,exceptional kindness from Jenny who invited me to choose some flowers from her garden to take to my dad,s grave. Typical Caithness hospitality at its very best. Pod number 3 so comfy and welcoming , absolutely perfect for our needs, relay really enjoyed our stay. So so happy that our Labrador was made so very welcome. Lots of extra thoughtful touches , fire pit , outside seating , some farm produce available to purchase Gorgeous dark skies ,magnificent display of stars on Saturday late at night We will back ………Thank you for everything Jenny and James.

This was by far our best accommodation doing the NC500 with our dog. Host was very helpful and friendly - letting us know the Highland Games were on which was amazing. Facilities were very clean and had everything you needed. Absolutely blown away by the power of the shower - was a great start to the morning. Little fire pits outside were fantastic addition to the pods. 100% recommendation if you are looking for somewhere to stay up in this area - you will not find anything better.

When we arrived at the lodge (3 adults and 2 children aged 7 and 1) we were in awe of the view. We'd never stayed in one of these before so weren't 100% sure what to expect. The keys were retrieved from their location and upon entering the lodge we were met with a welcoming "home" sense. The kitchen was lovely and clean, the bathroom too (with good water pressure in the shower), there was a double bed, 2 singles and the sofa bed so plenty of room for us all to sleep. There were complimentary snacks and refreshments which was a wonderful touch and the BBQ hut was brilliant to cook in and be cosy. Tesco is only 15 minutes down the road so nice and convenient. The beds were comfortable, the whole lodge was clean and well insulated, the kids loved having a space to run around and the sheep provided excellent conversation. Unfortunately the night we stayed we couldn't see the northern lights but there is a good potential there as you could see hundreds of stars, it was beautiful! Sharon was amazing at communicating and was only down the road if anything was needed. We're looking at going back up that way next year and will definitely be staying here again if there's availability!!

The high quality of the accommodation ensured a restful night's sleep in an incredibly comfortable bed. While we didn't have the chance to use the unique and inviting barbecue hut – complete with its own seating area – it's undoubtedly a standout feature perfect for memorable evenings. The true magic of this lodge lies in its tranquil location. Waking to stunning views and savouring the peaceful stillness of the landscape with a morning coffee on the terrace created a cherished memory of our trip. If you're seeking a serene escape with exceptional comfort and thoughtful touches, look no further. We wholeheartedly recommend this gem.

The chalet/ glamping pod was very nicely appointed and comfortable. The beds were comfy and the shower was excellent. The view across the fields with sheep wandering about was very relaxing. The BBQ hut was a real novelty and we really enjoyed a cosy evening in there, cooking our meal. The one thing to be aware of is that although the accommodation is described as a two bedroom chalet, it is actually one bedroom with twin beds and a double or king-size bed in the living area. For a family with 2 children this would be perfect. We were two couples so it was far from ideal. Overall though it was a very different and enjoyable stay.

I found peace in this place. Such a cozy, comfortable and clean lodge. Brand new appliances, everything you need and more. The hut was adorable!! And perfect for a delicious bbq Sharon was amazing, so kind and always checking in to see if everything was ok. I would recommend this place 1000% The sheep were a huge bonus 🥰

Fantastic location for this bijou luxury cottage. Larger on the inside than the outside, the kids loved the twin room with opening windows and blackout blinds. Clean and tidy, piping hot water and good wifi - no more required. Except the amazing views with friendly sheep. Shame we were only there one night, did not have time to use the funky indoor BBQ hut!

The site has two luxury pods well situated just off the NC500 in Lybster. Usefully, they offer one night stays which is perfect if you’re doing the route. We had a very comfortable one night stay in the Whaligoe pod. It is really well designed, with a luxury shower room and loo, and a very useable kitchen space, with basic kitchen implements: I was able to prepare an omelette. The double bed was spacious, and the clever use of mirrors and wall spaces made the pod seem quite big. It was a couple of miles yomp to Lybster Harbour which we did in the evening. We were blessed with fantastic weather and saw a magnificent sunset, and the owner says she has seen the northern lights on occasion. The owner herself was lovely and welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. We would thoroughly recommend these pods if you’re doing the NC500. It wasn’t the cheapest but it was one of the best we’ve come across so far (and we’ve done a few).

AMAZING! can’t wait wait to stay again, the lady who owns the pods was so helpful and so kind. We got there it was sunny, we wanted to have bbq. We got one form her and even got told where to get local meat from a shop just 8/10 minutes away! These have been by far the best pods me and my wife have stayed in! Lovely little games out the back all hand made and crafted! The pod was very well equipped and if it didn’t have it I can assure you the owner would make sure she could get it for you! So friendly so helpful! Great location and so nice and quiet and peaceful ! MUST STAY HERE!!!!

Great location, very easy to get to. Maggie is a very welcoming host making you feel at home straight away. Facilities, Cleanliness and all the extra little details are perfect. The pod itself is extremely spacious and very comfortable, couldn't ask for more. Perfect ending to our trip away. If we are ever back up this way again we will be back.

The interiors are a perfect blend of modern luxury and cozy comfort, making us feel right at home. Every detail, from the stylish decor to the high-end finishes, has been thoughtfully curated. The spacious rooms provided plenty of space for our family to relax and unwind, and the amenities were top-notch. What really stood out was the warmth and homeliness of the space. Despite the luxurious touches, there was a welcoming atmosphere that made our stay incredibly comfortable. It was clear that a lot of care has gone into making this a special place for guests. In summary, *The Store* exceeded our expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a place in Wick that offers both luxury and the comforts of home, this is it. We can’t wait to return!

The finest furnishing and best facilities in a traditional stone house, together with a feeling of being welcome (all necessary instructions by booking messaging, prompt answering, tea, coffee, milk sachets, salt & pepper, kitchen towels) turned this accommodation into an experience Clean bedding on perfect mattress, top heating system, large rooms, very close to the pedestrian city center. Parking is not a problem either. As compared to average Scottish accommodation costs, huge value for money And Wick indeed is a great accommodation option for a 2-day Scotland tour. Very close to all breathtaking view points, to the most nordic point, to Alpaca trekking and a good departure point to Skye or other attractions on the Western coast

This accommodation is exceptional and photos could never do it justice! The living area is huge and so well set out. The property has been renovated and furnished to a very high spec and facilities are second to none. It is in a great location which is very central and parking was easy right outside the front door. Communication with the host was perfect and he provided lots of useful information. Thank you so much for sharing your property Which we will definitely recommend to others.

Welcoming host who is on hand if you need him. It was great having a big TV in the bedroom. I work away from home two weeks a month, usually in self-catering accommodation, and most don't have TV in the bedroom. Fabulous walk-in shower. Stylish modern accommodation. Flat always cosy and warm. I will definitely book again next time I'm working in the area.

Thank you so much for our stay at Harbour Quay. The facilities were great and just what we needed while touring Scotland - washing machine, dishwasher, lovely hot shower and a comfy bed. The apartment was the perfect size and had a very modern decor. Tv with a good selection of channels, wifi and two sofas to relax on after a busy day of driving! Great location - short walk to the main high street, with nice harbour views. Fish & Chip shop a few doors down for those not wanting to move very far! Only a 25min drive to John O'Groats for the Orkney ferry. Overall great stay, wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks a mil.

Fantastic accommodation, spotlessly, clean, extremely well-equipped, very cosy and very comfortable. We arrived cold after hiking southbound and the accommodation was warm and cosy, check-in procedure a cinch and we immediately felt at home. The attention to detail to make this a comfortable stay is amazing and it represents epic value for money. It's also situated bang on The John O'Groats Trail which literally goes past the front door.

A great cosy , clean and comfortable place to stop en route in little town of Wick ! Our host Graham was approachable and helpful . The cottage had everything we needed for our one night stay including thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, choccie snacks and the use of washing machine, etc Would definitely recommend

There is so much to like about this accommodation; parking right out front, no stairs, very clean and comfortable. The beds are great, and there's plenty of space for your luggage. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bathroom is spacious, as is the shower, and there's plenty of room for your toiletries and clothing without having to put them on the floor. The location is perfect. We walked to the Norseman Hotel for dinner.

The accommodation was on the ground floor with entry from the street. Everything was available for a self catering rental. The kitchen well equipped with main cooker/oven, air fryer, microvave, toaster, kettle, washing machine and dryer. Units are well stocked with crockery and cutlery. Nice touch on arrival, milk, bread, chocolate and crisps. Shower room/toilet clean and well appointed with soap, shampoo, large bath ntowels and hand towels. Sitting/Dininjg are is cozy with Television and wifi is supplied. In all a great and comfortable place to stay.

Zac is a great attentive host. I was celebrating my 30th birthday and Zac acknowledged this which was very kind. The flat is amazingly clean, it was easy to get connected to the WiFi. We appreciated the use of all the facilities, eg washing machine and dryer as we had been travelling for a few days and had a few days of camping ahead! The apartment was well stocked with tea and coffee and cleaning products which was very useful. It was easy to get parked near the property too so we could easily unload our luggage. It is very handy for walking into the town as well but perfectly quiet in the night too! Perfect stay!

The apartment was clean, comfortable and well thought out. The beds were very comfortable and there was even coffee and tea in the kitchen. Zac couldn't have been more helpful. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay in the apartment again if in the area.

The host is extremely helpful, and has put a number of nice touches in the annex. Everything is finished to an extremely high standard, and is spotlessly clean - and I mean *spotlessly* clean. Plenty of storage space in the snug with facilities for tea/coffee/snacks. Very spacious location with free private parking. The homemade tablet was just the icing on the cake (it was delicious), do not leave without trying it.

Everything was perfect, fresh clean towels absolutely spotless and warm. Janie was absolutely lovely and accommodated us such last minute and offered us some milk and refreshments. would absolutely recommend staying and next to a beautiful little walk to the beach.

The room was very clean, modern and cosy, there was a small gift of home made tablet toffee that tasted amazing! The host was so welcoming, we wanted to extend our stay…

The location of the property was good and in a nice quiet area of the town. Was easy to find and and no hassle from neighbours as you never seen them. The house itself was very clean and bright and very well looked after. Comfortable beds and very minimal to the rooms for space with buggage. Had access to use of cooker and white goods. Heating was easy to work also. The hosts had also left games also within the living room. Good use of information leaflets. Showering facilities was excellent and the host had left travel minis and plenty of towels available. Also they had supplied a hair dryer and use of kitchen ware.

It was in a quiet location. Close to harbour and was good for an evening and morning walk. The property was very clean and well organised. Good kitchen, diner and good sized lounge. Bedrooms are very good. We had a very comfortable stay. Very good for the price. Highly recommended.

The property was in a quiet residential area with parking. All facilities were nicely appointed, clean and spacious. It was easy to walk to the town for a meal and we found excellent options in a small local Italian restaurant DeVita and hotel restaurant 1 Bistro, both had a great menu and delicious meals, which otherwise are in short supply in Wick. Wick has a large Tesco if you wish to cook, which would be easy enough in the well-equipped kitchen. We used Wick as our base to visit John o'Groats and Duncansby Stacks, definitely worth walking to. Parking can be tight in the small car park where to start the walk. Take binoculars with you so you can see the penguins! Beverley, our host, was very helpful in providing the details to access the property and options for restaurants in Wick.

If you are doing the NC500 this little house is a perfect overnight stop, directly located just off the high street in Wick it was clean, tidy and modern with driveway parking. It was almost like a home away from home with all the amenities required and with two spacious bedrooms it is perfect for any family or couples.

Good instructions from Beverley via the Booking.com app The house was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities you could possibly want. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood and only a short drive away from restaurants. A quiet and comfortable place to spend the night!

Comfy bed, large TV, reliable WiFi, ideal location to the town, lounge really comfortable, heating ideal and use of the washing machine. Location to the NC500 was perfect.

The apartment is modern, bright and clean with a well equipped kitchen, the tv is connected to a number of streaming services for you to watch, you can login to Netflix too if you wish to watch the tv. The bathroom was modern we particularly enjoyed the smart mirror and the soap dispensers in the shower were a nice touch. Although there isn’t much to do in wick if you’re travelling around Scotland or driving the nc500 and looking for a fabulous and well equipped place to stay this is it!

The Forge was a nice apartment with everything you needed for a 2 night stay. There was a shared courtyard and parking on the street that was convenient. It was clean and comfortable and we had the ability to cook breakfast and have dinner there which was a nice change as we had been traveling for a month. There were 2 big TVs so it was nice for a cosy night in.

Fabulous location, very central. Apartment very modern and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed. Wick is a gem, a wonderful place to stay along the NC500.

This spacious property had everything we needed. All was very clean and comfortable. Set in a courtyard it was super quiet. Just a short walk to the main street and good dining options. Parking was easy out the front on the street.

The apartment was so beautiful, the decor was amazing and really modern and was absolutely spotless, so much space it was absolutely perfect, we wished we were stopping another night!

Lovely views, spacious and immaculately clean rooms, a bath tub perfect for a hot soak, quiet and safe neighbourhood, within walking distance to a grocery store, and a cost below hotels.

Beautifully clean, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and good WiFi. We managed to park outside, and it’s a short walk across the bridge to bars and takeaways. The bedrooms have views of the sea.

A lovely wee town house. Comfortable, clean and choice of bath or shower. Beds all made up and clean towels provided. Beds were also comfortable so had a good nights sleep.

Loved the location, right by the harbour in a very quiet neighbourhood. Great free parking right outside the door. The unit has everything you could ever need. Great kitchen with everything to cook a meal. Comfortable bed, the apartment is very warm and cosy. Wick is a lovely little town and we highly recommend a visit to the museum, its absolutely amazing, an entire insight into Wick in times gone by, and the old herring industry.

Friendly host who was responsive and able to find us a solution when we arrived to find washing machine broken. Everything was very clean, finished to a high standard - beautiful accommodation.

Very well appointed, attractive, very clean and comfortable apartment with free on street parking adjacent. Beds were very comfortable and ample towels were provided. Location was perfect. It's great to have a washing machine available when you are on a long trip.

The property was a really good 2-bed flat with decent bathroom, kitchen, sitting room and bedrooms. It's well kitted out and furnished and exceptionally clean and tidy. Zac, the landlord/manager, was very friendly and helpful and checked that all was good during our stay. Loch Street isn't a beauty spot but was very quiet and convenient for town and walks to coastal paths and inland. We cooked a very good roast dinner in the kitchen for our uncles who love nearby. I can't recommend the place more highly and we'll definitely look to stay there again.

Beautiful place near the city center. Very clean and comfortable and a great host. While we could check-in ourselves, we were in touch with owner Zac, who was very friendly and communicative and even came by so say hello, which was greatly appreciated. The appartment is very modern and spacious. This was a fantastic place to stay.

It was just brilliant a real home from home. You had absolutely everything you needed m. It was sparking clean, it was modern & up-to date a very comfy bed an excellent shower & in a lovely peaceful area. Zac was a fabulous host. What a gem of place to stay, just superb!

Flat is very clean and tidy. Abdul even left choice of cereal and milk, which was welcome.. Parking is convenient in adjacent road, just a few yards away. Flat is conveniently located close to the town, taking a short walk. Despite being on the main route, it is very quiet.

Clean and comfortable nothing was required has everything you need to hand just fantastic 👌 the host provides milk and bread and fruit. All rooms was thoroughly cleaned and good storage 👏. There is nothing I felt lacked it is a perfect hideaway with parking

Clean, nice smelling room. Fresh towels. Easy to use shower. Tea and coffee making facilities. Hair dryer. Helpful and friendly staff.

I had a warm welcome when I arrived. The room was warm, cosy and secure. I had the single room, the bed was super comfortable with high quality bedding. Tea and coffee was supplied. It was a 20 minute walk into town either via the streets or along the front. Wick is a nice town with walks, restaurants and pubs. Off street parking was also a benefit!

We liked the fact it was a self check in via a keypad pin, so there was no rush to get there. It was clean, comfortable and in a quiet suburb. There's a good shower and plenty of soap and towels.. Everything worked properly (TV & kettle)

It was very clean, quiet and the bed was super comfortable. We stayed there when it was wet and cold, but the room was cosy and warm. Thank you

A sudden change of plan meant this was a last minute booking. The room was lovely, very clean and the bed was extremely comfy! Only a couple of minutes walk away from restaurants made it an ideal location. Although we were not self catering, there was a shared kitchen/ lounge area downstairs which was clean, modern and comfortable.

This is an accommodation where there is a common room with the TV and kitchen facilities to share with another, third party guest. I was the only guest at the time of my stay. I really liked the location, its about a 10 minute walk to shops and restaurants. The location is on a side street with not a lot of traffic/noise, no issue with finding parking on the street. The common space is really nice, very modern and comfortable. The bed room was spacious, clean. Entry to/exit out of the property is a straight forward process. I stayed here to catch the ferry to orkney the next morning, it was quick access out of town and on the road for the ferry, no issues at all with timing to catch the ferry from here. Really nice accommodation.

From outside it looks run down however as soon as you open the door it’s it lovely, modern and clean. The rooms are obviously very recently done as everything is modern and looks new. Bed is comfortable and the bedding was immaculate. I also love the mirror in the bathroom with the light and the shower is large and has a very good flow also lived the large fluffy towels too

The room was very spacious and the bathroom was spotless. Having access to the kitchen facilities was very nice. The bed was comfy, but if you're 6+ feet it may be a bit small lengthwise, other than that, this was a great stay within walking distance to pretty much everywhere in Wick and was a great value. Robert was amazing and was able to accommodate us after we had some flight issues. Would highly recommend.

The hosts, Catherine, and mum Isla were fantastic. Friendly and knowledgeable of the area. This was a different kind of stay, from the normal faceless hotel. If you want a homely, welcoming, wholesome stay, this is for you. We loved their dogs, and even sat by the fire in the evening and sampled some local whiskey. Our double room was clean, great hot shower and a lovely refreshment tray set up for our arrival. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of choice, fresh items, a plentiful cooked option, and all served in the beautiful dining room. A quick walk will take you to the old Smiddy where a hearty pub meal is available. Thank you both.

Thrumster House is an incredible, old laird's house, and you truly feel like royalty stepping into the spacious foyer and gallery. The rooms were decorated with really nice touches and were filled with personal memorabilia of the host family. Everything was very clean and charmingly done, breakfast was incredibly delicious and the host very kind and helpful. Thrumster House is the perfect place for anyone who ever visited a National Trust building and thought "I would like to spend a night here".

Absolutely wonderful stay! Our hosts were so welcoming and helpful and the house was lovely. Our room was so comfortable and cosy. Breakfast was delicious!

Friendly welcome, which is very important. Somewhere secure to store our bikes overnight. Good advice re the local pub for dining. Comfortable rooms and great, quiet location. The house and furnishings are from an older era, that wouldn't be out of place in a period drama and that just added to the overall charm of the place. Breakfast was lovely, offered in a beautiful old dining room. Anyone looking for modern facilities may be disappointed but there was WiFi and TV in the rooms. We all really enjoyed our one night there.

A lovely setting and an intriguing house with some wonderful features, not least the expansive entrance hall. The bedroom was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hosts were helpful and charming. The cooked breakfast was all that could be desired

Our apartment was fabulous. Super clean,comfortable & loved the tidal river view. Everything we needed & more was there for us & close to town centre & railway station as we came to Wick by train. Bed was so comfy and hearing the river outside was a treat.

Lovely clean and comfortable apartment. Modern and well equipped. Handy location for our visit. Quiet and pleasant outlook despite the disappointing river Wick. But we could also see the shortest street in the world so that made up for the river.

So superior to a local hotel stay. Great position, lovely lite up balcony looking out over the river. Good sized rooms, proper kitchen with all you might need, all of a good quality. Just round the corner from the main street with coffee shops, convenience store and a great Weatherspoons (open for breakfast). A perfect space to stay, work or base for holidays.

The apartment was very central, clean and had everything we needed. We booked this at very short notice because of a ferry cancellation and the host was very helpful in allowing us access really quickly., Thanks. I would definitely recommend. The balcony overlooking the river was great.
