Wonderful and friendly reception staff who will always greet you with a smile and also provide you with great and healthy extra pillows. The highlight at this hotel was the breakfast! Really impressed by the lovely breakfast room and by the high quality breakfast items. Really amazing coffee! Really amazing that you can have some champagne here to put a little (or as much as you wish hahah) in your (freshly squeezed !!!!) real orange juice. Top marks for the great breakfast experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, greeting us warmly and providing all the assistance we needed throughout our stay. The room had everything we were looking for—cool and comfortable with air conditioning. The bed was especially comfortable, with a mattress that gave us great support and a restful sleep every night. The shower was just right, with strong water pressure and hot water, making it perfect for relaxing in the tub multiple times. And yes, the breakfast was fantastic! We truly had a wonderful time during our stay. The location is also a big plus—just a short walk to Lake Zurich, and only about 10 minutes on foot to the Stettbach Bahnhof, where you can catch a direct train to Zurich Airport in just four stops.

Clean, spacious, and quiet room conveniently located in the high-end, central district of Seefeld. Friendly staff accommodated a late check out at 1 pm. The cafe/restaurant was comfortable for working with a laptop for a few hours. Highly recommend and will return!

Warm welcome by the staff. Found a Samichlaus bag outside my door on St.Nicolaus day and Grittibänz for breakfast. Comfortable bed and lots of pillow options. Cosy breakfast and lounge area. Great service. Delicious and varied breakfast buffet.

This is a marvellous hotel, located in the Seefeld district, 3 tram stops away from the city centre. We got a rooftop room, with its own terrace and astonishing views of the city and the Alps. The staff was very kind and attentive. The breakfast were tasty and with plenty of options. The beds were very comfortable. The wi-fi was working flawlessly and without a need to re-enter the password all the time. All in all, a great place.

I booked here for 2 nights with my wife and daughter during our Swiss summer vacation. Then extended the stay for one more. It is an excellent hotel. The room was spacious, nice, clean and well maintained. The hotel read and executed the instructions very carefully exactly as requested by me.  Our flight was delayed from Berlin and we reached the hotel past midnight, but the person at the reception attended us with a smile and helped us very well. The cot for the daughter was also well placed. The Hotel Restaurant is also very big and spacious, roomy, with lots of windows, fresh air and well lit. We always have enough tables and free space in restaurant to enjoy a relaxed breakfast with family. The breakfast spread was very good and the serving staff was also very helpful and prompt in refills. Cherry on the top free ice-cream for kids at the reception. My daughter loved it. The location is also very good. The bus stop is right next to the hotel or walk 10 min to the nearby local train station. There is a ticket buying terminal machine at both bus and train stations. So including walking to the bus or train station in just 25 – 30 min – min you will be in Zurich HBF. Viviane handwritten note was a very personalized welcome for the guest, that's rare to find these days. Mara at reception is always very helpful for direction for location travel and any other information. Overall, a great stay is very well recommended.

This is a no frills hotel but everything worked well and the room was extremely comfortable. It even offers a pillow menu and I chose a neck supporting pillow which was delivered to the room. The bathroom had a wonderful shower with excellent water pressure. The hotel has a restaurant which was very convenient as we were staying overnight on a Sunday. Nice menu and very attentive service. The breakfast buffet in the morning had a great variety of dishes and excellent coffee, and of course homemade Bircher Musli! In a city where parking usually comes a steep fee, the free parking on the premises was an added bonus.

Our stay at Kameha Grand Zurich was fantastic from start to finish. The hotel is stylish, modern, and impeccably maintained. Every aspect of the service—from check-in to housekeeping—was smooth, friendly, and professional. I honestly had zero complaints during our time here. The room was comfortable, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed. While the breakfast buffet could offer a bit more variety, it was still satisfying and well-prepared—definitely not a dealbreaker. Though the location is a bit outside the city center, it’s quiet and peaceful, and there’s a tram stop just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. It made getting around Zurich easy and convenient. Would absolutely stay here again—highly recommended!

Amazing hotel, beautifully kept, extremely attentive and helpful staff and an amazing spa. Highly recommended for a special night away. Complementary mini-bar was only soft drinks. The Grand restaurant was a bit limited in choices and the food did not live up to it's prices, but breakfast was amazing!

The Kameha is one of the most unusual hotels. Several rooms have a suite theme, making travel fun. Breakfast is excellent. Bathrooms are fabulous with bidet and toilet separate from shower. It's great to have a bathtub. Most important, bed was very comfortable. Staff was great and helpful returning a lost article.

Although located 20 minutes from central Zurich this is a very luxurious hotel. The staff are so attentive and the rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable. The pasta restaurant is a gem and the bar was very nice

It was huge and modern and the view was amazing. I’d say more but I’d like to keep it a bit of a secret so I can stay there again next time.

The room impressed us. In fact, the word "room" doesn't do this justice - it is very special indeed. It gives one a feeling of luxury and abundance, with all the special spa-like facilities. And the location is fantastic, close to the centre but high above the city-bustle and near the cablecar station and at the edge of a beautiful wooded area suitable for nice strolls. Very nice restaurant on-site. Obviously, the price reflects the luxury and the fact that this is Zürich.

Beautiful and spacious room, very comfortable

Beautiful area to stay in that was not too far from central Zurich. Close to the lake which made for lovely morning walks. Communication prior to and during our trip was exceptional. Checkin was easy. We had ample space and enjoyed having a balcony. The kitchen had everything we needed and was useful as we ate breakfast and some dinners in the apartment. 3 table options to eat meals (kitchen, dining and outdoor balcony tables). Coffee pods and tea were replenished on the room service days (Monday/Wednesday/Friday). Wifi worked well. Temperatures were high during our stay (31 degrees) so although no Airconditioning we were provided with fans. It was a quiet area at night so slept well. Easy access to old town and main train station using the tram 4 line.

Very spacious , neat and clean, close to train station and several restaurants, completed kitchenware inc coffee make also they provided various option of tea flavour. Shower water heater works well, quite spacious storage to keep your clothes, super suitable if you travel more than 2 weeks, washer machine provided with some cubes of detergent. Every spaces clean, the bedrooms, kitchen, living hall , simple decoration yet more on spaces , the TV works well , heater works well, 2 mins walk to train station. Very attentive host that make sure everything is alright. Arranging early or late check in or check out really well. Easy to work with

The property is exactly as the pictures. The apt is well kept, clean, centrally located. The beds are comfortable. The place has great space and even a terrace. There’s a washer and dryer which I found super helpful. The kitchen has a great space. The only observations I would make are that I would have liked to have a broom an mop to be able to clean because even though they clean the place 3 times a week, if you drop or spill something you can’t properly clean. The kitchen is missing cooking gadgets like spoons or a spatula. But I would totally stay there again.

Really great location in the Seefeld neighbourhood - walkable and convenient (Stadelhofen station, Coop, Migros, cafes). Apartment is clean, renovated and modern, making it a comfortable and clean experience

The management was very prompt in responding to two small issues that came up during my stay, which I appreciated. The apartment was clean and well furnished. It was mostly quiet in the building (and in the neighborhood) and comfortable. The addition of a (Miele) washer and dryer was a nice bonus. The kitchen had everything needed for my stay, and the little terrace/balcony with seating looking out over a quiet courtyard was nice. The bed was comfortable and the place was well heated.

Excellent hotel in the city center right on the Limmat river with a roof top bar with beautiful view on the Zurich lake. The restaurant where breakfast is served has also a terrace with a great view on the river and the lake. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived by car during the Street Parade (the world's largest techno/electronic music festival) and due to road closures couldn't drive right to the hotel and had to park a couple blocks away so the check in process was not very smooth. The hotel staff however was very helpful. They met us at the garage parking, took care of our car and luggage and walked us to the hotel. Due to the festival, the city was dirty with plenty of garbage lying on the streets and intoxicated people which did not make for the most pleasant walk around the city. If you are not in to the techno/electronic music scene, I would recommend avoiding visiting the city during the Street Parade.

Our stay in Storchen is so memorable and wonderful . The hotel is located in the Heart of the city, riverfront, and walkable to everything. Very accessible and convenient to all rides: tram, river cruise, bus, etc. We love the staff’s excellent service from the start to the end of our stay. The receptionist are wonderful and like magicians. Your wish is their command. We have an early flight out and kind enough to serve us a room service breakfast around 4:00 am before we leave. They have a shuttle service to send us early for our flight with a very wonderful and knowledgeable driver. Few minutes after we check in our room, they greeted us with 2 bottles of delicious free wine. And the view is remarkable. The rooms are beautiful , well designed, and of great size to accommodate 7 people. Beds are very comfortable. Their is a small refrigerator filled with drinks and delicious goodies. The only issue we found is their are crayons in the closet and the bed floor and mattress wet. The crayons could be from the previous people who stayed before us. And the wet floor and mattress from accidentally spilling water. Otherwise, overall we are very happy and pleased with our stay. Everything is excellent and a wonderful experience. Definitely will be back to stay.

Location of hotel is amazing, right in the midst of the old city on the river bank. The staff is helpful with everything we need from valet parking to restaurants reservation to serving during breakfast and in the bar. The rooms were clean (we had two rooms) and ready . The chocolates in the room everyday plus at night adds a very nice touch. Breakfast is rich with few egg options and a rich buffet.

Great location for getting to know Zurich. Less than one block to walk to the lake. Surprisingly large and park-like garden with gorgeous trees and flowers. Delicious dinners at the Baur restaurant, and the best breakfasts we've ever had (not kidding!) at Marguita's. Beautifully appointed, quiet bedroom with a balcony view of the canal. Comfortable bed and pillows (including a knee pillow!). The bedroom had plush furniture, lots of decorative mirrors, crown molding throughout the room, rounded ceiling molding, automated drapes, dimmable lights, USB-A ports, free mini-bar items, fresh fruit assortment, and many luxury features. We would return in a heart beat!

My husband/I recently stayed for 3 nights in a Junior Suite. We had originally booked a courtyard view since we are very light sleepers. A junior suite canal view became available earlier in the day that was newly renovated and larger so we accepted. We were between the canals where there is a small road so some noise but was able to sleep - and had asked for fan for room to help with noise/sleep quality as we do in all hotels. Their fans are very quiet so just beware, but still sufficed. We did look at the Jr Suite courtyard room and the decor quite different/not as nice so we were okay with our decision. Where this hotel really shines in many areas (and why we would return without hesitation) is service, location, and dining services. Prior to arrival I had sent many emails enquiring about the right room for our requests and always got prompt, very informative, and very kind reply's - really exceptional! Also service in the entire hotel was exceptional, including Julia at reception. We ate at Marquita for lunch one day and breakfast daily - WOW the most gorgeous settings we've ever had and great service! This hotel was great for walking the city as well as doing day trips to many areas in Switzerland, as well as Alsace region in France. Have been fortunate to stay in many luxurious 5 star hotels in Europe and this one really is over the top elegance (in all the right ways) with service second to none. Would happily stay here again many times!!

This is a beautiful 5 star luxury hotel with a rich history. I heard about it so I decided to stay for 5 nights during my short vacation to Zurich. I have to say I enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel is located in the trendy and commercial center of Zurich with a walking distance to major tourist sites (train station, opera house, national museum, all highend stores etc). Except for its great customer services and very friendly staffs, I especially like its restaurants. Terrasse is a garden cafe that absolutely looks enchanting. I loved it so much that I had a few meals there just to sit inside and enjoy the view. The Pavillon is a Michelin star restaurant and gorgeously decorated. I had a nine course tasting menu dinner. The food was amazing. I also got a chance for an afternoon tea in Le Hall at lobby. It requires a special 48 hour reservation since it doesn't offer afternoon tea in summer season. Its exterior is lavish and elegant. Everything in this hotel was perfect for me. I will definitely check in again in my next trip to Zurich.

Our stay at the Baur au Lac was amazing. The location is perfect and the hotel and the rooms are beautiful, elegant and refined. The new restaurant is one of the most beautiful breakfasts I have ever enjoyed. However, what really set Baur Au Lac apart was the staff. The Concierge team in particular was super helpful to me before, during and after our stay. The entire staff was cheerful, friendly and engaging. Far from home it’s great to connect and the staff to a person were amazing. At so many luxury hotels the staff is mechanical and pleasant not genuine and that was not the case at BaL. Special thanks to concierge team for helping arrange the mailing of something special left behind. We are so very grateful for the help but it also right in line with how great the concierge team was for us. Try Casa Ferlin! Delicious and authentic.

A beautiful hotel with nice decoration where style and aristocracy meets. We loved everything from the hotel atmosphere to the kindest staff, super tasty and delicious food. The hotel is very clean, like most in Swiss, looks elegant and warm. We didn't like the mattress, few vanity kit in the bathroom, there were no dental set and combo, have to ask for them. But, overall this hotel impresses you. The location is just a few steps to the center brand shops, so just perfect. Wish to have been served a welcome drink at the arrival as it is a 5 star hotel and no welcome drinks we were offered. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic and delicious.

This was our last stay on our three week European vacation, and one of our very favourite hotels! Conveniently located just a 15 minute walk from the train station, and in the heart of Old Town, it is clean, friendly, and well appointed. Our room was beautiful and spacious, and very quiet. The breakfast buffet was lovely, and had lots of variety. Tamara was so friendly and welcoming at check-in, offering suggestions of great restaurants and activities nearby. We would definitely stay here again!

I remember passing by this hotel in Zurich and being amazed at its location. I purposely booked a room to experience the hotel and its location this time. It exceeded my expectations. The hotel is 2 minutes from the Famous Paradaplatz, allowing for multiple choices for transit use, and the famous Bahnhofstrasse with its high-end shops and cafes. The hotel is also located in the city's old section, making walking in any weather enjoyable. It is also within walking distance of Lake Zurich, Bellevueplatz, Train Station, and Zurich's old, cobblestone streets. This place is at the heart of it all, with the price tag of other hotels nearby. The room was great. Due to the heavy rain on this trip, I utilized the room more than usual. I loved that the room included fresh fruit on the table, a big bottle of mineral water and a personalized note welcoming me. This was a pleasant and unexpected treat—a lovely touch and enough to want me to return. There is also a hot beverage machine with complimentary coffee and tea. I could make myself comfortable sitting back and relaxing while watching a movie thanks to the TV Chromecast allowing direct streaming from my phone to the TV. The staff was excellent!! The front desk person, Crazy-nails (you know who you are), helped me check-in. She was delightful and put a smile on my face. Very friendly and social. It made me feel more like a good friend than a paying guest. It was a very refreshing change after a tough week.

We stayed for 3 nights at Sorell Hotel St. Peter in Feb 2025 and enjoyed our time there a lot. The hotel is beautifully designed and our room was perfect (spacious, beautifully furnished, clean). We were facing the church courtyard, but as the church was closed / under construction during our stay it was in fact really quiet. I can also highly recommend the breakfast (buffet style) with a very broad offering and wonderful service. The hotel is very centrally situated within Zürich which was perfect for our time there (we came by train and were able to reach all sights and places by foot or tram). We would highly recommend this hotel and stay there again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — starting with complimentary welcome drinks and even lending us travel adapters when needed. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very well-appointed, with quality toiletries and a free minibar that was a lovely bonus. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged for comfort and convenience. Breakfast is simple but fresh and good quality. You can have your choice of eggs and a good continental offering. This is the only area there could be slight improvement - at times service was slow for drinks and table not always cleaned or prepared with cutlery but it was minor. The rooftop jacuzzi pool was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and we also enjoyed the spa facilities located in the basement — accessible via lift and available at an extra cost (just ask reception for a bracelet). The location was ideal: tucked away in a quiet area, yet only about a 20-minute walk to the city center, making it both peaceful and accessible. All in all, a fantastic experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a relaxing atmosphere in a well-connected location.

Amazing decor and setup! We stayed in a regular double room but with the high ceilings and the semi-open bathroom, it looked and felt very spacious. The room was surprisingly very quiet despite the hotel being close to a railway… breakfast was very tasty and I appreciated the fact that it was included in the price of the room and available until noon. And of course the breakfast room/restaurant was very spectacular. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel! The room was clean and very comfortable, which made our stay truly enjoyable. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was flawless. The location is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet—the hotel is situated in a very tranquil area, ideal for resting away from the noise of the city. We are leaving fully satisfied and won’t hesitate to return.In addition to the perfect room, we were charmed by the lovely Library lounge, very cozy and pleasant—just perfect for relaxing at any time of the day. The spa deserves special mention: it offers different baths and pools as well as the pool on the roof top with a stunning view over the surrounding. It was a true moment of relaxation with a calming atmosphere and top facilities. An ideal place to recharge, and we’re leaving delighted!

Excellent boutique hotel, perfect in every way for our requirements. Safe location, lovely party of the Old Town, walking distance to lovely river side attractions including restaurants. We highly recommend Mere Catherine and Restaurant Le Dézaley Zürich. Hotel reception staff were the best - super friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful, email communications from England beforehand were always well received and prompt responses. Rooms spacious light airy bright stylish, not cluttered, sophisticated and smart decor. room facilities perfect, lovely bathrooms big showers, very comfy bed, air con perfect. Very peaceful at night. Breakfast was DELICIOUS - fabulous selection, perfectly cooked hot food, very lovely friendly breakfast staff. We were made to feel so comfortable by everyone, it was a pleasure to stay, we will return if we are in Zurich again, highly recommend this hotel

Helmhaus Boutique Hotel is at the heart of Old Town Zurich by the World Famous Limmatquai. Very closed to everything you need to see around Zurich. Nearby there is a lot of small shops and across the River is the famous Bahnofstrasse also Zurich Hautbahnhoff or Central Station is within a walking distance.if not you can take the very efficient Suisse Tram nearby-Helmhaus Station. Or let your taxi takes you in front of the hotel lobby. Our Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The bed is also super comfortable. There is a free coffee and hot drinks with pastries especially at night 24/7 actually. Breakfast is super good and a lot of healthy options, Dining Area is very clean. Staff were all very polite, friendly, attentive and accomodating, shout out to Eugene, Nilda and Catherina and all the rest of the staff. Shampoos and Toilet amenities were also excellent and looks like a high end brands. There is also a mini bar and.keetle to boil water for your coffee and tea. Very excellent Hotel in Zurich. We highly recommend to everyone who needs a great hotel for the price when visiting Zurich.

It’s always good to revisit a hotel you stayed in before (this my third) to ascertain if they have kept up their standards. Helmhaus is in a prime (but quiet) location adjacent to old town Zurich accessible to transport and easy walking distance to a number of sites. Many restaurants for every taste are nearby. It’s small and quiet, (24 rooms) employs an excellent staff who are welcoming and knowledgeable. The rooms are not large but the layout is efficient and comfortable. Shower with a full tub, great water pressure and plenty of hot water are definite pluses. Helmhaus may be in contention for the world’s smallest elevator (one passenger + luggage) but it does the job. A rapid turnaround laundry service is available for those in need, I arrived at 1300h and had it back by 1800h. The breakfast room and the adjacent relaxing sitting area are among the most pleasant I have encountered, with superb service offering a good selection of eggs, juices, breads, fruits, cheeses, meats, yogurt, etc. and excellent coffee, brewed to your specifications. As testimony to their helpful and stable staff I recognized two key members that were there 6 years ago. Finally high functioning Wi-Fi access.

The staff at the reception and especially the breakfast ladies are very friendly. Breakfast was lovely and prepared with heart. Food is fresh, clean and new small items on different days. Location is extremely convenient in the heart of the city centre, close to sights, shopping and restaurants. Rooms were clean and quiet. Our room for two was a corner room which was of very good size with a slight open view between the two adjacent buildings. They provided a small pillow of organic materials which I found really helped sleep.

I would rate Hotel Helmhaus with a “10”.Our room is on the 5th floor, so spacious, clean, simply decorated and well maintained. The front desk staff is so accommodating. We feel like we are home. There is a tram stop, which is about 5 minutes from the hotel, going to the central train station, we find this very convenient. From the airport, there is a direct train from airport to Stadelhofen, a 10 minute walk to Helmhaus. One more thing is that the hotel is central to everything especially Old Town. We had dinner at Old Town (so festive at night) and even late at night, the Hotel is not far to walk snd very safe. We love this! For customer service, so awesome. We checked out very early and the front desk prepared our takeout breakfast. Isn’t this an awesome customer experience!

This place is a must see! Beautiful grounds all around. Beautiful architecture. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Michellin Star Restaurant is a must! Breakfast was amazing at the Saltz Restaurant! Beautiful views from our balcony and bed!!! Overall we had an incredible experience. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Fantastic experience with our 2 small dogs. Dog friendly hotel.The staff were very helpful and professional. Great customer service when we encountered an issue with lunch that was dealt with promptly and really elevated our experience. We stayed just one night for an event but next time we plan a longer trip and we look forward to returning to The Dolder Grand Hotel. The spa is worth a visit and a walk in the forest surrounding the hotel was so refreshing. Breakfast was delicious and the food in all the restaurants we visited was superb. Thanks to all the staff that made a memorable experience for us. There are so many to mention.

The Dolder Grand is a unique property with amazing rooms , spa and grounds. The Saltz restaurant is outstanding and the bar room cozy and stylish. The outstanding art collection that is accessible to all that is in every corner of the property is such a gift! All of the staff are courteous and attentive to our every need. The free shuttle service to old town makes getting to town easy. Additionally getting to old town by taxi or public transport is easy as well. We will definitely stay here again and hopefully go to “the restaurant” their Michelin star restaurant!

Our Dolder Grand experience was beyond exceptional. Our arrival felt very special, with how we were treated throughout check-in, to our brief tour around the establishment heading to our suite. While this is a pricey hotel, every penny is worth it. We stayed in the Deluxe Junior Suite which had perfect amenities and an excellent lake view. The rest of the hotel’s features were very clean and had a perfect contrast between traditional and modern. Our spa experience, including our couples massage, felt very special and, while the hotel was very busy (because of Valentine’s Day), nothing ever seemed too crowded or chaotic - all felt calm. As a whole, and I say this with my most sincere opinion, this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. With certain, we shall be returning again very soon.

The only conceivable word is amazing! Perfect also may work. Every single aspect of this property, it's staff and location are ideal. Dinner at The Restaurant was one of the top 3 meals we have ever had, and we have dined our way through over 100 Michelin stars. There are beautiful properties throughout the world, and this is certainly one. What truly set it apart was the service. Every "colleague" was friendly, helpful and anticipatory. They handled issues before we knew of them and were always willing to go the extra mile. The spa was one of the finest we have ever used as well. We run out of superlatives. Truly a stay without equal. If we ever return to Zurich, we will stay no where else.

EMA House Hotel Suites is a very well located and nicely maintained hotel. The train station which is just a few meters away is such a pleasure. The location is fantastic to explore Zurich and do the day trips because Zurich HBB is so close. The hotel provides breakfast which is great with eggs, cereals, cheese, tea/coffee, breads, yogurt and fruits. It is extremely clean and well maintained. The staff at the reception is extremely attentive and helpful :) Just two points one should remember - while the area is well connected the eateries are very limited. We reached late in the evening and it was struggle to find something to eat. And by the time we reached the main city everything was almost shutting down. Second, most rooms come with a bathtub-shower combo rather than a walk-in shower, which can be inconvenient. It’s best to request a room with a standalone shower for ease.

Went above and beyond to provide us with clear directions and recommendations for local attractions— she even accompanied our group of 4 couples to show us the rooms and how everything worked. Sean was exceptionally helpful, making check-in smooth and quick. The rooms were beautiful, spotless clean, comfortable, and well-appointed; way better than expected. My family and friends had a relaxing stay; service and facilities are really impressive! I highly recommend Ema House Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and hospitable place to stay. Breakfast was a good variety of continental style and freshly cooked eggs. The food quality was high. Staff were professional and friendly. Hotel location was central, perfect for getting around Zürich on foot. We stayed at this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel staff exceeded expectations by welcoming us with a half bottle of champagne, delicious fresh tiramisu and fruit in our room. The bed had been beautifully decorated with golden leaves in the shape of a heart along with a balloon in the word “love”. The most wonderful and very happy surprise. All staff at the hotel were professional, welcoming and friendly. Providing excellent service.

I arrived earlier than planned and was pleasantly surprised when I was offered an early check-in, even though I hadn’t requested it. The room is very cozy, clean, and beautifully designed. It has everything you might need: an iron, an ironing board, a yoga mat, and even earplugs. There’s some reconstruction going on across the street, but it was fairly quiet thanks to the excellent soundproofing of the windows. Guests also have access to a fitness club just across the road. There’s a brand-new coffee machine and an excellent minibar. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfasts are delicious and even come with champagne. The restaurant also operates as a regular dining venue and features a lovely summer garden. The breakfasts are of high quality and, again, served with champagne. The location is perfect — right in the old town, very close to Paradeplatz, and just a 15-minute walk from the Congress Hall.

This is the place to book if you're going to visit Zurich, it's within walking distance from Zurich's main train station, and other turist places. The staff was amazing, super friendly and answered all of our questions, even helped us weight our suitcases before leaving. The room is big and comfortable, bathroom super clean and plenty of towels. The breakfast is one of the best, a lot of variety and everything really well done. The grand surprise was the restaurant, Enja. Next to the reception, the dinner service there was 5 stars, it's vegan friendly but they also serve meat and it was so delicious, attention there was also top notch. We didn't have reservations any of the 2 nights we went and they accommodated us.

Breakfast was amazing, good selection and friendly staff. Hotel was very clean, room was spacious and nice shower. All staff were very friendly, kept our bags safe after check out and offered recommendations. Location is perfect, close to shops, the only downside is that at night can be a bit noisy and room wasn’t sound proof.

We stayed here on our first night in CH, and a week later on our last night. They were kind enough to hold a bag for us while we drove through the country. Very central to old Zurich. Also near shopping if that’s your thing. Easy drive to airport. We had an early departure and they provided a breakfast box meal. Very kind. The room isn’t huge, but bed, pillows and bathroom were perfect; very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast (our first day) and delicious and they provided very courteous table service for coffee, etc. No car parking, but there are many public underground parking facilities nearby. And it was a short walk to the train station too.

Stayed Saturday night, and we had a wonderful stay. Upon arrival, Eugene at reception was so friendly, welcoming and really tried his best to ensure we were comfortable - nothing was too much. We had a lovely Suite with Kitchenette, and it was a great size. The bed was super comfy, shower was very powerful, good selection of TV channels (including British channels), and the room as whole felt comfortable, quiet, clean and relaxing. Only thing we would say is we wish there were more USB sockets and plug sockets for adapters as there was only one by the desk, and the plugs around the room did not fit our adapter. This meant we had to straighten our hair using the TV as a mirror - not a major issue, but didn't feel practical and the location of the larger socket didn't feel best placed. The hotel as a whole was super clean, whilst all staff were exceptionally friendly and hospitable. When we got to the room, we realised there were feather pillows, and this was changed efficiently without issue - so if you have allergies, perhaps let the hotel know in advance for ease. Parking was easy, spacious and secure, whilst there's excellent transport links to central Zurich. Train station is a 5 min walk, and an 8 minute train into central Zurich. Also tram stops nearby within a 5 min walk. Would 100% return, as we had a lovely stay and didn't want to leave!

The hotel exceeded all our expectations. The room was incredibly spacious, modern, and exceptionally clean. We especially loved the comfortable bed, the stylish interior, and the relaxing balcony view. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location was also perfect quiet yet conveniently close to public transportation, shops, and restaurants. It was a great experience from check-in to check-out.

This hotel is just a short walking distance from Oerilkon train station which is 1 stop away from both the airport & Zurich central train station. Check in is professionally done by friendly Eugene. Our room is on the 3rd floor at the end of the quiet corridor. We have a view of the local houses & gardens from our window which is made of double glazed glass which you have total silence after you have closed the window, a feature I greatly appreciated. Everything is new and working fine in the room which is exceptional as sometime even other 5 star hotels could not do it. There is a full kitchenette with built in Bosch large microwave oven in the room which is very for you to cook food bought from the supermarket just next door. Interesting, buffet breakfast is served along the corridor to the lift from the lobby, so in the morning you are actually working through the rolls of buffet from either side, making me hungry while walking to the lobby. However there is room for improvement: 1) Install a shower door to prevent the water from spilling outside the showering area. 2) Install a magnifying mirror & night light in the toilet. 3) Install or place a mirror on the dressing table for ladies to put on their makeup. Overall, a great accommodation to stay.

Everything! Best hotel I stayed on the whole Europe trip. Location was quiet, A/C was working well, sauna and fitness area wonderful, crew very friendly and helpful, close to the airport and downtown, nice shops/restaurants nearby in walkable distance. Great breakfast/dinner options in the hotel as well. The bed was very comfortable. The amenities were new and shiny. The room and the hotel in general were very clean. Exceptional experience!

The breakfast, which was included in the rate, was really good. Fridge facility also available in the room for longer visits. Room was very spacious, very fresh and clean and quiet. Parking was available outside the door as well as in an underground location. Nice bar and restaurant and relaxing area. Very helpful staff. Location is within a short tram/bus ride to the center of Zurich. Unfortunately no opportunity to try the spa facility. Next time !

A beautiful hotel in an amazing location. What more would you want? The complimentary breakfast buffet is delicious and the hotel is within walking distance to many places for lunch, dinner, and sightseeing. The hotel also offers a restaurant. We enjoyed conversation with the bartender after dinner. Waking up to an early flight was a breeze by taking the train from the HB to the Zurich Airport. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and knocked on our door to ask if we needed anything. They dropped off two extra pillows promptly. We arrived early in the morning. The hotel held our bags and had our room ready at 2 PM. The hotel is located directly across the street from the main entrance to the HB (Main Train Station), is centrally located and it is easy to walk to Old Town and shopping. We climbed the Grossmunster (church tower) for the view and walked by the water. I highly recommend staying here, especially if you are flying in and out of Zurich and need a place to stay.

My family and I stayed in separate rooms in this hotel and were all very satisfied. The location is very convenient, being right across from the main train station. Our group arrived laden down with luggage and little ones and the staff were most helpful in making us comfortable. We were offered drinks and they even upgraded my room. Although the hotel is located in a busy area, my room was very quiet. All the furniture was comfortable and the lighting plentiful and bright for reading. The AC was excellent (it was hot outside!) and the shower pressure great. There were bowls of fresh seasonal fruit in the rooms and hallways, and the breakfast offered abundant choices. (I was sorry to miss what was probably my only chance to have a chocolate butler knock on my door!) I highly recommend this hotel!

Perfectly located for train travellers, just opposite the Zürich Main Station, at the north end of Bahnhofstrasse. Scrupulously clean, comfortable, with friendly, helpful staff and a great breakfast. The cozy bar is the perfect place to enjoy a pre- or post-dinner drink.

This was our first stop on our honeymoon after a long day of travel; the front desk staff were exceedingly attentive and friendly. The hotel upgraded us and the room was charming - they provided prosecco and chocolates with fresh fruit, and the concierge helped get us reservations at a nearby restaurant a wedding guest had recommended (despite it being booked out). It’s been a great experience all around. The hotels location is extremely convenient if this is your first time visiting. It was a two minute walk from the main station (you’ll see the sign as soon as you walk out towards the Main Street). It’s very centrally located. The rooms are clean and the valet very helpful.

Could not beat the location opposite the Zurich Station, best for day trips to Lucerne & Basel for us. There was no Concierge at the door to help with luggage though. We needed to go inside to ask for help. On arrival, we were offered welcome drinks & towel, which was the only one out of the 3 hotels we visited in Switzerland. Need to enter the Hotel with card after hour, which made us feel safe despite it's close to Station. Room size was good but we did not have any view in the room. Amenities were classic, with added touch like eye cream & night cream samples, water, & fresh fruit & small chocolate. House-keeping was professional, though it would have been even better should slippers be replenished during our 3-night stay. We chose the option to include breakfast, which was sumptuous, delicious & service was very good. The Hotel gave us a CHF35 coupon. It's our fault all 4 of us did not read properly & thought it included drinks, but the coupon only offered 10% off drinks. So be aware! Overall, had an enjoyable stay. Would not hesitate to recommend the Hotel.

Even before arrival there was excellent communication with guest Managers to prepare certain items in the room. They were excellent rooms, very nice, clean, quiet and connected. This hotel has the friendliest staff I have seen so far. People are very professional and polite , always smiling and asking if we need anything extra. The location was amazing in the centre of Zurich , close to everything whether on foot or by tram. The room service was great and so was the food and service in both the restaurant and the lobby cafe.

Room was spacious. All hotel staff was very helpful and cordial. Ms. Muse and Mr. Alex at the front office were most helpful and responsive to our needs. Ms. Alpiger - Manager Guest Experience gave excellent recommendations to our queries. Mr. Jorge Cruz in charge of baggage handling always had a smile and was most efficient and attentive. Location of the hotel is convenient both for sightseeing and shopping.

The Hotel Adler is in a convenient location to the main train station and is situated right in the old town Zurich. It is close to the river, lake, and popular sights in Zurich. The hotel included rooms recently renovated in 2024. Beds were comfortable- and bathrooms very clean and well outfitted. Some of their complimentary services included still and sparkling water and Coca Cola available to hotel guests, water in the room, cloth travel bags, and slippers. They also have a discount to the Kunsthaus Museum. They have postal stamps for sale and posted the mail for us. Their enormously popular fondue/raclette restaurant Chuchi is convenient and hotel guests can make reservations. They had transportation services to the airport - and arranged the service for us. Their breakfast buffet had some selection of foods, but could be expanded. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They had a secure room for putting luggage there after check-out.

The location of the hotel is amazing! Very walkable to a lot of the main areas and all throughout old town. Also easy to hop on public transport. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is simple but clean and nice and a great value for the price! Amazing restaurants surround you, and the restaurant in the hotel is one of the most famous fondue restaurants in the city. There was a long line out of the restaurant to get in both nights we were there, but as guests of the hotel, you get a guaranteed reservation and a separate entrance.

The hotel is conveniently located a short walk from the central station in Zürich and is small and welcoming with friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and fresh, the bed very comfortable and the breakfast buffet decent. The connection with the restaurant on the ground floor is also good, with 10% off for guests, though I only found this out when I paid, a nice surprise!

This is our second time staying at the Hotel Adler in Zurich. In our 11 years since our previous visit, they have done a remodel which was absolutely wonderful. Our room was very comfortable, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated with full wall paintings of local points in the city. Our rom had a sitting area, which gave us lots of room for our family to get together. It overlooked a quiet square and felt very private. The location is spectacular! It was an easy walk from the train station --- and was in the middle of many old town locations. The breakfast has many selections and was placed in the hotel's restaurant downstairs. The restaurant in the building had wonderful fondues and raclette - and staying at the hotel, it was easy to make reservations for the restaurant. The hotel provided free waters and sodas in the lounge at all times - a thoughtful gift from the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful - especially Bouke at the front desk. We had the ability to book a driver through the front desk as well for our drive to the airport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Adler.

From check in to breakfast to room experience, the Hotel Adler was just perfect. We always try to stay in the center of things in towns and this fit the bill. Right in the heart of the old part of Zurich, everything on the river was walkable. Good coffee cafes, and excellent restaurants were right outside the door. The hotel’s restaurant was also great. Rooms were absolutely spotless. The air conditioning was a relief given that it was over 90 degrees here for several days. The elevator was also very welcome. We were on the 4th floor. Our view of the square gave us much people watching joy.

The hotel is an experience in itself. From the cozy restaurant to the stylish bar that serves coffee, mocktails, and other drinks, to the outdoor seating and nearby small shops, there’s always something to enjoy. You could travel to this hotel alone and still have a complete and fulfilling trip. The staff were the best I’ve ever encountered. They were genuinely friendly and warm. It didn’t feel like dealing with typical city hotel employees. They took their time explaining the best ways to explore Zurich, offering helpful tips and showing exactly how to get around. Their sincerity and kindness really stood out. The location is excellent. Zurich HB station is within walking distance, along with many other key places in the city. The room was spotless and very comfortable. On rainy days, I was able to borrow an umbrella from the front desk and return it after my walk. The hotel felt like a destination of its own. It was vibrant, welcoming, and full of character. It was an amazing environment to be in.

We really enjoyed our two night stay here. The mini bar is a nice touch, and this we were given the option to have this refilled on our 2nd day. The room as comfortable and really clean. The toiletries seemed good quality. We had a few drinks in the bar, the cocktails were excellent and very reasonably priced for central Zurich. We would return. We didn’t notice the noise from the trains, but it was winter so the windows weren’t open. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only slight annoyance was one lift was out of order and the other lift was very slow.

Everything was great. Staff are fabulous, Patricia is amazing! Bike was great fun, rooms clean and comfy, bar downstairs pumping, Neni restaurant fabulous. Breakfast was great. Easy to walk to old town and great spot near the station.. I extended my stay another night.

The hotel had a truly luxurious feel. My room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a spotless bathroom cleverly divided into separate shower and toilet areas with a shared sink and mirror space. The mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice served in a cozy, comfortable restaurant where there was ample room for all guests. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful.

I love the warm and cozy lobby and rooms. You really do feel right at home. Free coffee and drinks in the room is a nice touch and breakfast on Sundays till 1pm, can it get better than this? Yes it can! Staff is absolutely amazing. All the receptionists I have interacted with were so nice and helpful. I even got my room early! Will definitely stay here again for my next trips to Zurich!

Amazing location. FIFA hotel across the road. Enge train station directly in front of hotel. The tram also stops in front of the hotel and no 5 tram goes to the lake and to the old town, but it is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The bedding was luxurious with very comfortable pillows and down duvets. We had a kitchenette in our Locke Suite with a fridge/dishwasher/coffee maker/induction hob and kettle: brilliant. We also loved having a bath in the bathroom. Nothing was any trouble for the staff who were all friendly and extremely helpful. A perfect location for a stay in Zurich.

This is my first time visiting Zurich, a beautiful country. The Locke am Platz Hotel is a respectable and very clean hotel. It has an elevator, and the room is spacious, comfortable, equipped with all you need, and safe. It has all the amenities you need. It also boasts a prime location, very close to Lake Zurich, Zurich's main commercial street and area, as well the tram station. It's also in a safe area. All services, including shops, a supermarket, cafes, and restaurants, are all within easy reach. All the staff are extremely kind and helpful, especially Mr. Milosh, whom I hope I spelled his name correctly. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at the hotel.

Very convent to a tram that stops right outside the hotel as well as a major train station & a couple of food markets very close,as well as a restaurant attached that had a delicious breakfast included with my stay. The bed was very comfortable. It was so convenient to have a small kitchenette in the room. I would definitely stay here again or look to stay in another one of this brand apart hotels in other places I will be traveling to.

the location is excellent. very accessible. the tram #6 is only 3 mins walk from the hotel and it goes right to the central town. staff are amazing. very welcoming and helpful receptionists. the cleaning service is exceptional. they took care of every detail in the room to an extent where they decorated our own tissue box which we had with us while traveling. very toddler friendly. if you have a baby they'll enjoy their stay. the view is so beautiful. you get to see whole Zürich from the third floor if where you're staying. Breakfast is so fancy. the waiters will take care of you and make sure you're taken care of.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and can highly recommend it. My room was comfortable and provided everything needed for a pleasant stay. From the balcony I had a stunning view of Lake Zurich and the Alps. The staff were friendly as well as professional and the breakfast was also excellent, offering a wide variety of options. The location is very quiet – the Zurich Zoo is within walking distance and I appreciated the convenience of safely parking my car in the hotel's underground garage. Overall, my stay was very enjoyable and I look forward to returning in the future.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Beautiful surroundings, friendly and helpful staff, excellent food and probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The whole place is serene and peaceful with a beautiful forest to go walking in. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with a whole range of fresh options. They also have a real emphasis on sustainability which is always a huge plus. Despite not being in the centre of town it’s very well connected and easy to travel into town. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back.

WOW! This very welcoming and comfortable hotel must be the best value-for-money accommodation in central Zürich! The staff are wonderfully hospitable and kind. Even before we arrived they went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even though - as we discovered - there was a huge event taking place in the city, which must surely have added to their workload. Staff member Susanna even advised our friends, who drove down from Germany, where they could find free car parking on Sunday, and welcomed them to join us at the hotel for breakfast. (A varied and plentiful breakfast is already included for hotel residents, and we found it reasonably priced for our friends to join us!) I really appreciated the varied and good quality gluten-free breakfast options on offer too! The hotel is ideally situated for those arriving and leaving by public transport. It's only a 5 minute walk from Zürich Hauptbahnhof, and hotel staff are happy to organize a shuttle to take guests to the airport. Despite being so central, the hotel location is quiet and restful, within easy walking distance from transport stations, the river Limmat, good restaurants, and other central city attractions. We highly recommend this friendly and comfortable hotel and would gladly return here anytime. With many thanks!

10 minute walk from Zurich station this hotel is incredibly well located, away from the main road so pretty quiet as well. Check in with super simple and the staff were very friendly and pointed out areas of interest on a map which I was given. I was in one of the junior suites in the adjacent building, room was super spacious and comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. Bathroom was great and the shower had excellent water pressure. Bed was comfortable. It was also very quiet in the evening and the blackout curtains were a nice touch. Breakfast was served in the main building, full on continental style with ham and cheeses, et cetera Absolutely would stay here again as I really liked the convenient location.

Though they say it's a 3 star hotel. I truly had a 5 star hotel experience! The room was spacious, the hotel has a restaurant in the premise, the staff all friendly knowledge and truly helpful! The facility they clean room daily, offer toiletries, a coffee bar, a safe, a mini refrigerator, the rooms have AC, a flat TV, sitting area, desk area...truly exceptional!

Very quiet indeed. the room was very spacious, very clean, very comfortable. the staff was very friendly and supportive. We loved this hotel very much. the restaurant was very good, food was tasty.

Everything! The hotel is cozy, modern, comfortable (what a bed!!!), very well located (but prep for going up a light hill), spotless clean. The staff is beyond kindness, always with a smile. And the breakfast (included in our stay) was delicious! Several good and always fresh and tasty options.
