Everything was perfect, fantastic facilities, staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the beach is possibly one of the most beautiful in SEA, perfect conditions for surfing, the food is delicious, even a doctor on site who could help out our son immediately when he felt a little funny.

Gorgeous resort on the edge of sumba island. The heart of this resort is the staff. Hands down. As an indonesian born, it feels amazing to see a resort like this has given back so much to locals. We spent a lot talking to the staff who told us their stories and how the community has been lifted since nihi was built. Clean water and educating the kids and senior staff. I hope nihi carries on bringing this opportunity to local as it is what sets a huge difference in indonesian luxury resort space. Shout-out to our wonderful kaptens Raju and marten. Esther, Mary, Diana and Monique. For showing wonderful characters of indonesian hospitality. Swimming with horse was a great experience. Their horse handlers were amazing and very good at taking pictures haha.

This absolutely the best hotel I've stayed with, no wonder it is rated to be among The Best in The World. The property, views, experience, service are just beyond exceptional. It was absolutely The Best at every aspect of it. Every moment, every experience was very unique at its emotions, quality and authenticity. I never had such amazing, high quality service as from every member of Nihi staff. Absolutely the best from the moment you land to Indonedsia (though we arrived a week before our arrival to Nihi, the staff helped us to go through express arrival clearance) until you depart Sumba. I highly recommend this hotel.

Everything! Staying a Nihi is a wonderful experience. The staff was super attentive even before we arrived at the property and after they dropped us at the airport. Sumba is a beautiful island and the Nihi area didn’t disappoint, highly recommend strolling around the beach! Of course don’t miss the horses, it was dreamy. Our villa was stunning, everything was spotless. We had a massage in our room and was one of the best ones we’ve ever had! Food and drinks were also superb, great selection to choose from. We are only sad we couldn’t stay longer!

This is a great resort for relaxation. What surprised us the most was the delicious food! We met here haute Italian cuisine and very high quality, fresh products. All food is free. We were assigned personal assistants upon check-in and we were in touch throughout our stay here. The territory of the resort is very beautiful and well-groomed, the horses are wonderful. The staff here do everything for your comfort. We get free lunch after our check out. It’s amazing! We really enjoyed. I was captivated the moment I saw this hotel on social media a few years ago and instantly added it to my wishlist for my future visit to Labuan Bajo. Overall, the hotel is beautiful and very comfortable. The mattress and pillows were soft, the air conditioning was cool, and the hot shower had great pressure and heat. There’s also Wi-Fi. If you have a bigger budget, definitely go for a room with a sea view. The standard rooms, when you open the window, only show a wall! Haha. The design of the hotel is very stylish, with plenty of Instagrammable spots for OOTD shots. But the main highlight is the view. Even from the restaurant, the scenery outside is breathtaking. The food at the hotel was also delicious, and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Very friendly hotel staff. Beautifully situated on a hill overlooking the bay, the restaurant offers amazing food and friendly, prompt service. The room with a private pool and a beautiful view was truly impressive. Clean and spacious. The pool is large with plenty of sun loungers. I highly recommend it.

The location is great. sunset by the pool is speachless. The design makes you feel like you are in Greece. Staff is friendly and always ready to help. Clean room and clean facilities. The breakfast buffet has many options and the tables by the pool are the perfect spot to enjoy it with a view. Definetly reccomanding this hotel if you stay in town

The surrounding view was stunning, and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection was extensive, and the dining area offered a pleasant view. All the staff were courteous,friendly and attentive.

Spectacular views from the property looking out on the water. Rooms are comfortable and cool. Breakfast was nice - lots of local options. The pool has amazing views and a very nice ambiance. It’s a bit of a maze to get up to the rooms but once you figure it out it’s ok - lots of stairs to climb so not for everyone. Location is a small 10 minute walk into the town. Close to the pier if you are going out for excursions which I recommend!

A great homestay with a very friendly and welcoming family. We had two rooms with a shared bathroom, all next to the living room that was quiet and comfy to sit. Bedrooms were not spacious but good, beds were slighty soft but we did sleep very well. Nice breakfast. Homestay is located close to the city centre, in a quiet minor street.

I had such a lovely stay here. I ended up getting caught in the rain on my scooter, so when I arrived I was wet and cold. I was greeted with a welcome hot tea. Shower was hot too so you could only imagine how good that felt. Room was clean and cozy. The owner is friendly and welcoming and helped me load my bag on my scooter in the morning. I also had what I’d say, was the best sweet and sour chicken ! Highly recommend D-Rima Homestay. A bonus too, they have the most precious dog, cute, friendly and loved the belly rubs!

Staff and the host were very friendly and helpful. Also they have the cutest dog 🐕 😍 for a place in the middle of a small city it was surprisingly quiet at night, and we slept like babies. They made us a very tasty dinner and provided a speed laundry service, which was kind of a life saver. The bed was comfy. Although the room lacked airconditioning, this was not necessary as Ruteng gets pretty chilly at night.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Riccardo the owner organised my transport to Bajawa and recommended to me a guide there. His son Darnell took me on a scooter tour to the Spider Web Rice Fields and Liang Bua Hobbit Cave and Museum. The room was clean and comfortable. Good wifi and breakfast. My stay at Meruorah Komodo in Labuan Bajo was the perfect way to end my Flores adventure. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the stunning architecture and beautiful setting. The hotel is truly an oasis of luxury, with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I stayed in a standard room, which was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The room also had a balcony with stunning views. The food at Meruorah Komodo was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed every meal I had there, from the breakfast buffet. The service was also top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. On my last day in Flores, I spent some time exploring the hotel grounds and taking in the beautiful scenery. Overall, I had an amazing experience at Meruorah Komodo. The hotel is truly a gem, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Labuan Bajo. I give it a 4.5/5 rating.

This is a beautiful hotel located near the harbor, offering a breathtaking view of the Labuan Bajo bay. The rooftop restaurant was a highlight, with not only delicious food but also an incredible setting for enjoying meals. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Our room was modern, clean, and very comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from each morning. One of the hotel’s key features is the rooftop pool, which offers stunning views and adds a luxurious touch to the experience.

Staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel lobby is spacious and lovely, with beautiful views. We had a signature hill view room, but upgraded to a sea view, which was 100% worth it! The sea view room was less noisier than the signature hill view. The views from this room were beautiful, especially during sunset! Location is also perfect.

It's such a beautiful setting. The hotel has some of the best views of the sunset in the town. The rooms are lovely, new and spotless with a nice layout. The breakfast for a Westerner was Okay, it was Halal, so there was no pork bacon or sausages there is an egg station for fried eggs and omelets and they were constantly making freshly made waffles and pancakes. The Asian selection was fab, with a live noodle station as were the sweets and pastries. There is a cappuccino machine so you can get your fancy coffee fix and they also have a small selection of freshly prepared juices and regular carton juice. The buffet dinner was around $26 and fine if you don't want to leave the hotel but there are so many amazing food options within a short walk regarding alcohol expect to pay at-home prices or more but again there are so many bars within a short stroll. The location is right on the port so there is constant noise from boats 24/7 I would suggest a mountain view room if you wish to avoid this, we choose to stick with the port view and got use to the boats very easily but are both not fussy sleepers. (the hotel did provide earplugs) I would happily stay here again.

I can highly recommend this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect — just five minutes from the port, which makes it ideal if you’ve booked a snorkeling or speedboat tour that departs early in the morning. It’s also only about ten minutes from the airport, and they conveniently organize airport pickup for you. The rooms are very nice, spotless, and well-maintained — everything feels tidy and comfortable. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful; a big thank you to Edy and Roy, among many others, who made my stay even better. From the lobby and especially the rooftop, you get wonderful views, and the breakfast is excellent. In the evening, there’s often live music, creating such a nice atmosphere. The hotel is also very close to the local fish market, where you can enjoy fresh fish cooked right in front of you. A fantastic stay overall — I would definitely come back!

Beautiful location right on the beach, and under palm and coconut trees. Very kind and helpful staff, they help us to change our flight ticket from Maumere to Ende as the airport is closed. The best Indonesian food restaurant we had in Indonesia during 3 trips. Very delicious food and very tasty...we tasted many on the menu and we were never disappointed. Very good breakfast (pancake, eggs, fruits, toast, jus...) Our cottage room were very comfortable and clean. Very good snorkeling on the left side of the beach and also we recommend the day trip Snorkeling with the hotel. At the end, big thanks to Alfred the manager for his help and kindness. He took us to a day trip to very authentic Flores village, one of our best experience in Flores. If I go again to Maumere, I will stay there again in Sea World Beach Dive.

Large resort area along nice quiet beach. You can enjoy beach almost alone with fishermen (just few on the evening). Garden bungalows are a bit old but spacious and clean and aircondition is well adequate. Nice small balcony in front. Beach villas however looks really nice and new. Great breakfast with enough options. Food in the restaurant is average, good if you don't miss spicy food. The manager Alfred is nice and can help you with travel bookings. Personel very friendly always.

The property is located by itself. right on the beach. It is a bit of a “budget” resort, but when anything was amiss, the staff was quick to jump in and take care of it. We stayed in a beach front unit, which I would recommend. There are large front porches with comfy chairs and wonderful views of the ocean. The restaurant is on the beach. We were amazed by the choice of foods offered, the quality, and the taste. If you stay, order the nasi kabuli. The staff was wonderful. They arranged a snorkeling trip to some islands in the distance. The reefs were amazing, with absolutely healthy beautiful coral and loads of tropical fish, as well was barracuda, sharks and turtles. We spent the day on the boat and went to 3 Sites. Lunch was provided, and ample water. The excursion cost us 50000 IDR per person on a boat shared with another couple. Quite the bargain. Our plans changed last minute, and Yasmin went above and beyond in helping us secure plane tickets. She is a miracle worker. In the process, she secured us a driver to Ende. We are impressed with the level of service and kindness of the staff.

we were there in low season, so we were lucky to book a nice timber seafront cottage with straw roof and spacious wooden terrace. we preferred the timber bungalows. first row is the best the sea is close-by and one has an uninterrupted sea view. the bed is firm. the room has ac. and a large fridge. this bungalows is exactly as shown on booking.com the common outside dining area is a bit spartan, there is a sort of bar area, but because there were only 4 guests this area was empty. all this will look nicer if there are more guests. there is a dive hire store, but no boat. a few scooters available to rent. (i would reserve one in advance) Large very affordable Bintangs available, the food is the same as everywhere else. booking.com writes about a pool, but it is only the sea, which is safe to swim in. they also say that the bungalows have side sea view, also untrue, they have full frontal sea views. Jasmin is the senior staff woman, and she is very helpful and speaks very good english.

For the price we pay, it's an absolute bargain to have the beach in front of your own cottage. The room size is super. Clean and wel taken care including the aircon. Breakfast is simple but satisfying, you can order pancake, fried rice and scramble egg. The black rice bread is unique. The beach is maintained well and reasonably clean. We did the snorkling too and it was getting much much better. We went to pangabaan island for snorkling for such a great price for a day trip. The view was breathtaking. Only half hour drive and 45 minutes boat from here. Massage can also be ordered to your own room. I would recommend Sea World for!! everyone

A Hidden Gem in Labuan Bajo – Wish We Stayed Longer! We only stayed one night at Sudamala Resort in Labuan Bajo, but it was truly unforgettable. The hotel is beautifully designed, set in a lush, well-maintained garden with direct access to a peaceful beach – perfect for relaxing or enjoying a stunning sunset. The view from the beach in the evening was absolutely magical. The pool area is spacious and inviting, and the pool bar offers a fantastic selection of drinks. It's the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Our room was elegantly decorated with great attention to detail, and the outdoor bathroom was a real highlight – such a unique and luxurious touch that made the stay even more special. What really made the experience stand out was the exceptional service. The manager and the entire team were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and friendly. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for. We truly wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful retreat in Labuan Bajo!

This hotel is beautiful. The grounds and pool and beach are lovely. I do need to preface this by saying we paid a US travel company for a 14 d trip and I don’t know much each hotel cost. We had a deluxe suite which I think is their basic level. Room adjoining w our young adult children. Beds are comfortable. They provide bottled water in glass bottles daily and cook w filtered water. Lovely outdoor private shower. The ocean water is more like a bay— no waves, very warm and shallow out very far. Beach space is very large. They have Lounge chairs at pool and beach and bean bags at beach in the shade. Pool water is refreshing but not cold. There is a restaurant which has good food for decent prices (maybe a bit more than other Indonesian restaurants but not bad compared to US prices.) But service at restaurant is so slow be prepared for taking more time than you think. You are a bit of a captive audience here as you cannot walk to the town and would have to hire a ride to go to another restaurant. The pool has a swim up bar. Mixed drinks are about $10 which again is not bad for what would be in US but more than othe Indonesian places. Staff is very helpful and courteous.

We booked this hotel because we wanted an excursion to Komodo and to relax a bit at the end of our trip. We fell in love with the area and especially the resort. We booked a room with a private pool. It was heavenly. The room was large and the bed was large and comfortable. There was plenty of closet space. The outdoor shower was a treat. We worried that there would be a lot of bugs with the pool and outdoor shower but there weren’t any. The room and our pool were spotlessly clean. The resort pool was large and an enjoyable area to lounge. There is a happy hour at the pool each evening. It is a delightful way to watch the sunset. Breakfast is the usual fare done well., especially the coffees. The lunch and dinner menus are where the resort shines. Unusual for us, we ate dinner there every night and were never disappointed. Every member of the staff we encountered seemed truly interested in our stay. The beach gets a lot of debris. It is just where it is located on the island. The gardens are lush and beautiful. The resort is a bit out from “town”. But is so relaxing and peaceful, why leave?

We had such a wonderful stay at Sudamala Resort. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest hospitality — every member of the team went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Special thanks to Hubert, the manager, and his team, who were incredibly attentive, especially with our kids. Their thoughtfulness and care really made a difference. The resort itself is beautiful and very well maintained. The food was excellent, with every meal being a delight. The beach is long and peaceful, perfect for morning walks or simply relaxing. The sunset views are truly breathtaking, and the pool was always clean, with a perfect size for both kids and adults to enjoy. What stood out most was the homey feeling of the place — it never felt like a typical resort, but more like a warm getaway where families can truly relax. Although the location isn’t right in the small port town, transportation is easily available, and honestly, we didn’t mind at all — the food, the beach, and the atmosphere at the resort more than made up for it. Perfect for a family getaway — we left with beautiful memories and can’t wait to return!

This hotel/hostel exceeded our expectation in almost everything! Arrived early around 11am, the friendly and kind reception team informed us that the room will be ready by 2pm and that we can utilize the hotel facilities meanwhile such as ping pong, swimming pool, restaurant etc. We headed to the restaurant next to the pool for brunch, the food is delicious that we came back for brunch again the next day. around 1:30pm, our room is ready. Booked a twin room but the hotel is kind enough to help arranged as a double bed. Room size is decent with sufficient space to open luggage. The bathroom is big and clean, but the water heater does not work all time. Toilet flushing a bit malfunction, but easy to fix ourselves. Our room is located at 1st floor, thus we don't have much issue with the live music from the restaurant at roof top. Staffs are super friendly and helpful. Every corner of the hotel is Instagram able. i can see why this hotel is always fully booked. Its location is also very convenient, only short distance to the town and Kampung Ujung for cheap seafood.

This is the perfect spot! Everything at this place is nice: - staff: the people are so nice and friendly, not only to the customers but also to eachother they are smiling and happy - room: great room (3p) spacious bathroom. Everything is spotless - pool and bar earea’s: 3 different areas’s; one lounge-rooftop like area with a DJ and live music, one more bar like with a pool table and a restaurant/pool area. - the table tennis place was also nice, great that the personnel is so flexible to play a game with our son when he was alone for moment over there - the restaurant: great food, again great staff. Also the breakfast was really nice - location: great, just a minute walk to the boulevard-like street. - drawback: none… or if you seek very hard… our 12y son plays pool-biljart at home and even with us in the team he was not allowed to play by the staff…. So they created a reason to come back again when he’s 18 😉 Overall: superb place!

I stayed in Saesta for 2 nights after a diving trip to the Komodo National Park: this is my second time staying at the Hotel and, if I every will go back to Komodo again, I will definitely pick it again! Both the private room and dormitories are tidy, clean and very well kept. The atmosphere at the structure is lively, the bar/restaurant at the top is a nice place where people hang out and there is live musing in the evening. Food is yummy, a good mix of Mediterranean/western dishes and breakfast options. Cocktails are also good, definitely not cheap but I do believe the price is reasonable considering the environment. Rooms are well equipped with anything you might need during your stay, including the hair dryer and fresh drinking water is provided. Not much plastic is present, which is something I care as results in being environmental friendly. The staff is friendly and ready to help in case of need.

This was by far the best hostel I've EVER stayed in, and I've stayed in many over 15 months of traveling around south east Asia. It was spotless , staff are forever cleaning and deep cleaning too .I had a clean towel every morning and fresh bedding too if needed every day . The food in the restaurant was perfect and very well presented, staff were always smiling couldn't do enough for you , and very polite, they went out of their way to make you feel special by remembering your name and asking how your day was , and what you had planned. I would say it was more a very good hotel rather than a hostel, but still with the friendly social hostel vibe . Plenty of chill out areas , fantastic pool area , great views and live music with two great bands a few times a week . My stay was just perfect .

The rooftop terrace, pool, restaurant & bar provide a great relaxation area, & there are free water bottle re-fills throughout the property. Everything is kept spotlessly clean & all of the staff, every step of the way throughout my stay, were exceptionally friendly & helpful. Breakfast is not included, but the variety, quality & price of everything available in the restaurant is excellent! I stayed at Seaesta 4x times during this trip to Indonesia & would definitely come back again 😊

We stayed for 1 night before and 2 nights after a 3 day live aboard boat trip to Komodo Island. The complimentary airport pick up and drop off worked very well and the villas are only 5 mins from the airport but with little airport noise. All the cottage are on a hillside with steep stairs everywhere. Thankfully the staff seem to carry heavy suitcases with ease. The breakfast of fresh fruit, juice, coffee, eggs and bacon was delivered to our cottage and the large private veranda under the cottage. They have an attached restaurant and room service. We had dinner one night, the menu was basic Indonesian and very tasty. The cottages are slightly outside the main town which meant they were quieter and Elang run their own taxi service for guests too and from Restaurants etc. at a cost of IRP50,000 per trip. everything can be paid by card. The air conditioning worked well, there are mosquito nets but we did not need to use them. The bed was comfortable. The shower was good, covered open air onto a large stone and pebbles. Plenty of hot water. No hairdryer due to the fire risk but I had long given up using one in Flores! Plenty of bottled water in the room. The staff smiled constantly and could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they seemed very genuine. We would definitely stay here again if we return. Good restaurants of you want a long lunch or special night out were Atlantis on the Rocks and L Plus Restaurant by Latte Graphic.

The villas were very nicely designed and decorated, entirely made from bamboo which gives very natural, rustic vibe with all amanities needed to make your stay comfortable. The location is not in the center of the village but that is recompensated by the amazing views on the bay. Free airport shuttle and reasonable priced taxi service to the centre was a nice addition. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots of small complementary touches like mosquito lotion or comfy flip flops will make you feel like extreamly welcomed and a cake on my bithday from the stuff made my day! They allowed me to store my main lagguage in their place during my 3 day cruise which was very much appreciated. Breakfast was great and served in downstairs lounge area of my villa. Pool arrea is also very relaxing and well organised (power sockets everywhere, sunbeds in the sun but also in the shadow) I can truly recommend the place for romantic getaway but also for solo ttavelers if you wanna have relaxing and hassle free time in Labuan Bajo.

The most beautiful stay on the island. The bamboo huts are beautifully made and are very comfortable, and the view from the cliff is to die for, worth every penny. I booked a room with a sea view, and it was a great unobstructed view from the room. It looks like all of the villas have a view though, it may just vary on how obstructed they are. The villas are close to town without it being bussling and busy, and the staff are so kind, friendly and attentive. They helped us with our bags and our scooter and nothing felt like an ask. The pool area was nice, with some chairs and bean bags. The rooms are supplied with a mosquito net and a mosquito zapper, I recommend putting it up over the bed as soon as you check in so you can open the doors and let the breeze in without the worry of bugs. There will be bugs as its a bamboo hut, but nothing crazy. We also had some cute geckos living in the roof of our villa which was great. Hearing them at night was adorable. They give you water, toothbrushes, combs, room service and towels but nothing flammable like hairdryers to make sure that the villas dont burn down. If you want a taste of luxury with a view, this is the place to stay!

This was a real find! Situated just outside Labuan with spectacular views from the hillside villas over the bay. The hotel provides a taxi service to get you down into the town (you wouldn't want to walk it - the hills are very steep!) which was always available when we needed it (charged). Set in beautifully maintained grounds it has a small plunge pool with sun loungers and shade. Generous breakfast which is served in the room - well, technically on the terrace of the villa under the room which is on stilts. They have a limited but very tasty menu for lunch and dinner too. Staff are excellent - so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They were particularly kind and attentive when one of our party was sick. The massages were excellent. Highly recommended for a great stay!

Breakfast was Ok and the location is very near the airport. The sea view fm the villa is very nice and it’s spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and the place is clean with a modern-rustic charm.

We received a warm welcome when we arrived. The people are so friendly and helpful here. We rented a bike but Danke Lodge even pick you up from the airport or harbour for free. The room and bathroom are big and clean with clean sheets! Finally you can see yourself in the mirror with bright light and no wet feet after showering! It's quiet at night so we slept like a baby. Last night they asked what time and what we wanted for breakfast. In the morning we were kinda slow so they knocked on the door for breakfast on the balcony. When you have to check out at 12u, they keep your backpack safely stored until you go to the airport and drive you for free till there. What a wonderful place and not far from anything! We wished we stayed here sooner! Close by you can enjoy wonderful food: CHARIS Se'i 👉"KHAS NTT" 👍 (Local Food) It's a 2 minute drive and sooo good! We ate smoked pork with baked noodles and rice with an orange ice tea. They serve something else every day as side dish. The service is super friendly, really nice to eat with relaxing music!

Could not recommend more to stay in Danke Lodge. All the staff is nice (REALLY nice) and helpful. The stay has a pickup and drop-off service to the city center (10min away) and to the airport (15min away) going on around the clock. You just have to send them a message and they will pick you up. Super convenient! You can also rent a motorbike with them for a very cheap price. The rooms are amazing, super spacious and clean. Like a luxury suite. On the outside of the each bedroom there is a cute little table where, everyday, they serv a delicious (REALLY delicious) breakfast, with a lot of options and great quantities! One of our best stays in southeast asia!

Very clean and large room with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also large with a nice hot shower, shampoo and towels. The AC worked well and was greatly appreciated on those hot muggy days and nights. The shuttle service in and out of town was awesome; always available to take us wherever we needed to go. Delicious breakfast delivered to our room at our desired time. The staff were amazing! So friendly and welcoming throughout our entire stay!

Had a wonderful stay at Danke Lodge. The entire staff are very welcoming and quick to respond to all of our questions and requests. It is not located in the city centre, but Danke staff were always available to shuttle us back and forth to the main part of town….a great service! The rooms are very spacious complete with a big comfy bed, large bathroom with nice hot shower, soap, shampoo, towels, kettle, tea cups and bottles of water. The AC was greatly appreciated on those hot muggy days and nights. For breakfast we were offered various options to choose from and it was delivered to our room at the time we indicated. We also booked a 3 day 2 night boat excursion through Danke Lodge. They transported us to and from the waterfront where we met up with the crew of our cruise. This definitely was a highlight of our trip! We saw Manta’s, Komodo Dragons and watched the flying foxes at sunset with the full moon as the backdrop. Truly magical! The food on the ship was delicious with lots of fresh seafood. We highly recommend Danke Lodge for your visit to Labuan Bako!

We stayed in Danke lodge for 2 nights. Room was basic (as expected based on photos on Booking) but very clean and comfortable. Staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful. In the morning they packed our breakfast to go as we left very early for our Komodo island tour. Hotel is away from the city centre so it provides quite good night sleep. They have free shuttle service to the town when you need it which is fantastic value for the money. Special kudos to driver Rifaldo who is very friendly and always in good mood. We would definitely stay there again.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Exceptional customer service for Indonesian standards. Rooms were cosy and spacious and bathroom clean and shower is huge. Pool area well maintained and beach towels provided in the restaurant. Breakfast has a wide variete of foods to select from, lunch and dinner menu (including cocktails) was alright and the dinner ambience, design, live music and lighting created a very warm atmosphere. Taxi to the city offered for 50.000,- via hotel. Definitely will be coming back soon.

Amazing experience. Spacious and spotless clean room. Huge bathroom and very comfortable bed. Really good facilities, including beach access, swimming pool and restaurant area. The food served at the restaurant is delicious and the breakfast options are plentiful and varied. The staff are extremely attentive and friendly. I would totally recommend this place.

Out of town right on the beach. 45 min. Walk. Spacious comfortable accomodation. Good a/c. Needed in LBJ. Comfortable super large bed. You could play football on it. Large bathroom with great shower recess. Lovely swimming pool. Good selection of chaises at the pool and out on the sand under trees. Great sunsets. Breakfast buffet more than adequate and great value if not included in the price. Dinner menu reasonably priced and some fine dishes. Good cocktails. Dining room lovely and close to the beach where the sand is groomed/swept everyday. Staff are friendly, polite, efficient and helpful. Shuttle into town or the airport. Staff can organise motor scooters, trips, laundry etc.

I did a previous review for the first stay and I mention how the place surpassed our expectations and how we loved the lush green gardens and relaxed atmosphere plus the excellent and friendly service. What I forgot to mention is that the hotel is pretty well located, outside of the busy town but only 7-10 minutes drive on a scooter which you can rent by arranging with Vivi or any of the amazing people that work at the counter. As we come from being 2 months in a boat, we also used their laundry service which is really good. All our sheets, towels and clothes perfectly cleaned. I also forgot to mention that the hotel doesn’t have many rooms (like others in the vicinity) so it makes it more exclusive and quiet , hence why we loved it. I also had a couple of massages on their spa area which adds to the tracing and restful experience. The breakfast has excellent variety and quality and it is in the restaurant which is just in front of the beach. This restaurant serves food all day and is delicious at a fair price. Also swimming pool is something I must comment as I usually don’t like them because of the smell of chlorine . Well this one is perfectly clean (Que we have seen a few around the area) and has no smell of chlorine at all. Finally I could enjoy dipping into a fresh clean pool . So thanks again Puri Sat you been a highlight in our journeys.

Car meets in time at airport. Breakfast was good, not big choice but made okay. Dinner was excellent, very tasty and at reasonable price! Very friendly and helpful staff. There is a beach with beach chair and bag chair. the beach is in a shallow bay that collects natural garbage(wood etc.), the beach was cleaned every day. There is a pool, clean and beautiful, we didn't use we swim in beach area.

We did the island hopping and snorkeling trilogy day trips with the hotel. Whilst they were much more expensive than booking with local companies, we only had a small group (4 guests on one and 8 on the other) and the boats were very comfortable. I would however say that the trip itineraries need to be clearer - one said we would be spending an hour snorkeling at Pink Beach, but it was actually just an hour relaxing on the beach as it was not a snorkeling spot. Also there was some duplication across the two trips (snorkeling at Manta Point), despite me confirming with the hotel in advance that the itinaries were completely different. The food in the hotel is very good and the rooms comfortable with a decent shower. There were some negatives. This is a popular hotel with families so you cannot relax by the pool without screaming children running around. There were some sunbeds by the end of the pier which was quieter though. Some aspects of the hotel were also very expensive. A cappuccino costs IDR 72k (including tax/service) which is about GBP 3.50 i.e. what you'd pay in London. I might expect this sort of price gouging in the Four Seasons but a hotel of Ayana's class should be charging closer to Indonesian local rates. We stayed in other high end hotels in Bali and prices for soft drinks and cocktails were around half what we paid in Ayana.

Everything! The room was clean and new and the view is stunning; the stuff is really fast, always happy to see you and very helpful. The food in all restaurants (seafood one, breakfast one and the jpn one) was stunning. Also, as the hotel is big it was really helpful to install the app to get directions and descriptions. Also, we needed to organise take away breakfast, so just wrote im the app our request, got the breakfast in the early morning (5:30 am) just on time. That’s exceptional experience.

1.The scenery is fantastic, with a wide view of the sea that looks beautiful from sunrise to sunset. 2.The hotel facilities are comprehensive, with many restaurants, especially Rinca Restaurant, which is worth experiencing multiple times. I really like the Indonesian fried rice and fried noodles here. 3.The staff are very friendly and professional, especially Tino who guided us in hiking and trekking. He provided us with a lot of help along the way, and we sincerely thank all the hotel staff for providing us with a very pleasant stay experience. 4.The hotel offers a wide range of activities, and both the full day trip and snorkeling trip are great. The boats are new, the food is good, and safety is also well-maintained. The only downside is that the tours are a bit more expensive compared to outside tours. 5.The room is clean. I really hope to come back here another day😄

Everything! The hotel itself is beautiful, the room on the 10th floor was clean and spacious with a breathtaking taking view of the Labuan Bajo bay! The sunsets from the balcony were also outstanding! Really nice snorkelling around the hotel’s jetty and the trip to private island was super fun! The breakfast was nice with nice variety of food and drinks. The staff is nice and attentive. Honzen restaurant is must go! One thing to mention (but this hasn’t impacted my review) are prices within the resort which are on the higher side (i.e. European’s resorts like). But this is something that I knew before my arrival and I was prepared for that :) I would definitely come back!

The view from the room is stunning. Staffs are very friendly and professional. Good breakfast. Room is super clean, bed is very comfortable. There are lots of (free) daily activities: snorkeling trail with a guide, coral planting, private island, and more... We hire Kayak IDR 300K for 30 mins. Overall stay was memorable and highly recommended!

Great location just opposite of the harbor. We liked the rooftop area where you can perfectly watch the sunset. The pool is more like a jacuzzi, but still nice.

We only stayed at the Harbour Komodo Hotel for one night, before a boat trip out to Komodo, but it was perfect for this purpose, and we actually wished we could have stayed a bit longer. The hotel is in the centre of town, so it’s easy to get anywhere you need to. It’s near to the harbour passenger entrance if you need to walk between the two. The room was lovely - very clean and comfortable, nicely decorated. Our favourite thing was that it had a great bar/restaurant on the roof, with a view across the harbour out to all the islands. It was a perfect place to watch the sun go down with a cold beer. It did nice food for dinner and breakfast too, with a 10% discount if you’re staying in the hotel. The service in the bar/restaurant was fantastic, and it was very relaxing, so we stayed until it closed at 10.

Excellent location if you are catching boats to visit the islands and need a modest, but good hotel. In Labuan Bajo centre with shops and restaurants all around. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Clean, well maintained and pleasant rooms plus a lovely rooftop area with small pool and great restaurant/bar. Just be aware that being central means there is some noise from the streets below, but the hotel warned us of this in advance to manage expectations. It is perfect as a short stay hotel close to everything. Only 5 minutes from the airport too.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights, arriving before 5PM by Grab(120k Ir) from the KOE Airport. A welcoming receptionist checked our passports, took the payment, presented our key cards(wifi code) and we followed a stewart to one of the 3 elevators to the 9th floor. Seaview king #912 was wood floored, spacious & clean; bathroom with tile/glass shower(soap/shampoo), closet(safe), hotpot/coffee/water/refer, comfortable king across large TV(Arirang, AXN, CGTN, CNA, Globe Trekker, Love-Nature, Outdoor, movie/sport channels, cartoons; all in English, then many Indonesian/Asian channels), easy chair with table, desk with chair, good lighting/strong secure wifi, 3 outlets, quiet wall AC with remote and large window view of 4 palm covered Lopo Houses and the Suva Sea. The 2nd floor 6AM breakfast buffet was excellent and nicely serviced: fresh fruits/juices/cereals/bread pudding, good egg station, many breads/rolls, fried rice, veggies, meats, baked beans, pancakes/pastries, regular coffee and tea. Full Asian section. We swam laps in the huge clean pool and I used the adjacent 10 station gym. AlfaMart next door and 2km SE to Jabalmart.

Very modern hotel by the sea, with traditional fish market just in front. Polite and friendly staff. Spacious and comfortable room with great view. 24h dining (at mezzanine-level cafe) and room service. Buffet breakfast starts at 4AM (!), so great for those leaving early. Good Chinese restaurant (but a bit expensive) at ground floor. Lovely restaurant and bar (Leet Sky Dining) at the top floor, open until midnight. The gym and pool area is nice, just a little pity it's in the back of the hotel, on a low level with not much view (a higher level facing the sea would have been fantastic!) and only receives sunshine in the morning. The lack of soundproofing is a major downside though; I had very noisy neighbors during my stay, and the wall seemed to be non-existent as far as noise goes.

Stayed at the Aston for two weeks and got a good price, free room upgrade to sea view and breakfast buffet included. The gym was very good, missing aircon but it had safe and working equipment. The gym is a much needed feature after you indulge in the breakfast buffet every morning... Room was bright, modern, spacious and clean. All the staff were highly presentable and welcoming.

First of all the welcoming , smiling and helpful staff makes you feel appreciated. The building is nice, clean and well decorated. It is a gem among other places around having a look and layout that is topical of international hotels. The room was clean and beautiful with amazing views to the ocean and the market down across the road. Wry comfortable bed and a good selection of tv channels. Room service is fast and they have a good selection of food in the menu. The top floor sky lounge is very nice and also is the gym and swimming pool which I am very pleased it didn’t smell like chlorine like most swimming pools. The spa is beautiful and they are very professional. I couldn’t get the massage I wanted because we booked only 2 days before our stay. I recommend booking your treatment with plenty of time in advance.

One of the best hotel in Kupang, the room has great sea view through the glass window. Also you can watch the sea from the bathroom while taking shower. Really nice set-up. The staffs are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended to stay when you are traveling to Kupang. The breakfast buffet was decent, the great thing is you can sit outdoor on the 2nd floor enjoying the view of Timor sea while having breakfast.

An amazing spot in a very beautiful country. The staff was very polite, courteous and attentive along with the food being delicious. Great reef to also explore. Above all the room was cozy, comfy and had a spectacular view.

I can stay there forever. A very nice Resort with great beach Andam great place to witness sunset and sun rise.. staffer are friendly... the room is clean. The food is just average for us, nothing special. Maybe becoz of the location, the pastry is not fresh, ... but overall, I am satisfied

Had a beach hut which was all we needed and found the staff stunning and so obliging and happy. Hut was great, loved the beach and snorkeling, paddling to other island on kyack. So peaceful and beautiful

A slice of paradise. One of the most relaxing resorts I’ve been to. Perfect for those wanting a digital detox (the WiFi can handle a few texts and basic emails but the island is so far from the mainland to handle more). The snorkelling is the best I’ve seen both at the resort and nearby. There’s a fantastic dive company on site for dives and trekking excursions.

Loved each and every minute on the resort. The reef just off the beach was a bonus... look out for lion fish, sting ray and squid from the jetty after dinner. Loads of marine life when u snorkel. They also provide tours to Rinca, Padar Island and other islands

Super comfortable, super clean and absolutely amazing place to stay in Labuan Bajo. Blue Parrot is locally owned homestay with the standards of a hotel when it comes to the rooms, comfort, views and staff. We had the room with our own private terrace overlooking the sea, absolutely stunning! The room was spacious with king size bed and one more single bed. Bathroom was clean and modern (no doors - no problem). The staff was absolutely amazing, Mr. Suni was super welcoming and helpful with all the questions we had. His fellow colleagues were fantastic in taking care of us, cooking the breakfast and cleaning up the room. We stayed for 5 nights and we were absolutely delighted with our stay. 7-10 minutes walking to the town. Definitely would return back. We always prefer to stay in locally owned places just to show our support. If you want to stay away from the noisy traffic of the main street but still be within walking distance then I highly recommend staying in Blue Parrot!!!

Prior to our arrival, we contacted the hotel and asked if they could arrange a transfer for us. Suni, the main coordinator at the hotel, promptly sent a car and answered all our questions. The accommodation is very simple, with just three rooms. We truly enjoyed our stay and the stunning views from our private terrace. Suni also arranged a day trip on a speedboat for us and negotiated favorable prices. It was a very enjoyable day with a good operator. At our request, a simple vegetarian breakfast was provided (breakfast was included), with plenty of fresh fruits. A wonderful coffee shop that also serves food is located next door to the hotel, so you won’t go hungry. The room itself was very spacious, cleaned daily, and fresh towels were provided each day. The shower head wasn't working properly on the first day, but Suni fixed it immediately. The quality of sleep was good, although the pillows could use an upgrade or replacement. Thanks to Suni, the hotel and the surrounding area are kept clean and well maintained. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

The view and location was perfect. We had the biggest room with a great view of the harbor as well as a lot of space to spread out for two people. The host was so helpful and accommodating. Setting up our tour for us to see Komodo Island and other stops. You are right in town so restaurants and shopping are walkable. The breakfast was adequate. One morning we ate in the common room, which has an amazing view of the harbor. One morning he made us a take away breakfast for our day on the boat, and then we had breakfast in our room the morning that we left.

The position of the accommodation was perfect as it was just on the edge of town , and elevated with wonderful views over the harbour and the surrounding islands . Our host was so welcoming and friendly and booked us a fabulous Komodo Tour and onward bus journey + recommended restaurants. Our breakfasts were fresh and delicious and our room was comfortable with a huge bed and fresh white bedding . A delightful stay with a perfect host .

Everything at the Blue Parrot was great, from the initial welcome from Suni, who was a mine of useful information and tips, to the friendly and kind staff who looked after our room so very well. The bed was super comfy and super sized, the aircon worked a treat, the fridge was efficient at keeping the bottles of water we were given each day cool and the shower was excellent. The reception/breakfast area had a fantastic view of the bay and each sunset was a delight. Breakfast was cooked fresh at a time of our choosing and was good. Suni arranged our boat trips at a discounted price and was on hand to help us get a taxi whenever we wanted. The accommodation was just outside of the busy part of Labuan Bajo which worked perfectly. We had a fabulous vantage point for watching the sun go down, a quiet location (call to prayer aside) and an easy and short walk to all the restaurants and shopping in the town.
